A little later Lincoln had gotten up went back up to his new room to put his stuff away; his posters up on the wall, games console and games put in a safe place, comics and manga put together on shelves there, action figures on display and looked at the photos he had taken with each of his parents, sisters as well as friends. He put them in place with the front was a one big photo of them all together making him smile.

"Sorry; is this a moment you are having Lincoln?" said Tanis' voice apologeticaly making Lincoln jump and turn to see the ghoul girls there at his door.

"Ah yeah; girls of the house coming to my room to interupt me, doesn't this just already make me feel at home?" Lincoln asked facing the audience and the nteh girls. "Sorry did you want to speak to me?" Lincoln asked trying to be friendly; he would be staying with them for the next few months.

"We just wanted to see if you are getting settled in your new room... Oh you must really like those nerdy stuff!" Phantasma said looking at Lincoln's stuff with him placing himself protectively in front of them to block them from getting any closer.

"Oh; can I ask about these girls or is that just being nosy?" asked Elsa looking at the photos and Lincoln went to the drawer where the photos on display allowing the girls to take a closer look.

"My sisters; all 10 of them. We all lived in our house but the oldest Lori moved out to go to university and I ended up following after we got the news of the offer to come to here." Lincoln said and they all looked at the photos and them at him stunned.

"TEN?" they yelled at once startling Lincoln before being amused that he had them react like that.

"I am pretty sure big families like this living in the same house are not a thing anymore in the human world because it sure isn't in the monster world. How does your parents afford to be able to keep up?" Sibella asked as Lincoln laughed but had no answer to that.

"Well Lincoln; the number of girls you are living at is now half so this should be making this easier for you." Winnie pointed out and Lincoln laughed; he guessed it did.

"Alright girls; please give Lincoln some space." Ms Grimwood said coming to the doorframe as they then went up to the door. "Before you proceed; remember the instructions that I left your parents! This will be a shock and a lot for Lincoln to get used to so please give him space when he needs it and a growing boy; don't be walking into his room all lily nily. This means I don't want to hear about you just passing through his walls, doors, floor and ceiling Phantasma." Ms Grimwood said as the girls nodded saying 'Yes Ms Grimwood'.

They started leaving and Lincoln nervously looked up at Ms Grimwood coming up to him; "Nice place you have here Ms Grimwood and thanks for the invitation... I am not being readied for a sacrifice of some sort?" he asked and Ms Grimwood shaking his head.

"I just want to say sorry for the complete shock that the reality of the school must have been but I assure you that the girls are nothing that their parentage would let you believe; they are perfectly friendly girls and you may find them and our ways odd but I assure you that they are perfectly happy interacting with humans and would want to be friends if they were being given a chance." Ms Grimwood told him assuringly as Lincoln tried not to be nervous. "Shaggy and Scooby told me of how starstruck you were to be meeting them and would you believe that at first only the signed contract stopped them from being able to leave?" Ms Grimwood asked and Lincoln thought it over.

"I can believe that; they spent their lives being chased by people in monster costumes." Lincoln said knowing the details and Ms Grimwood covered a giggled with his hand.

"You are already doing much better than they did by not even attempting to run away. If at any point you find yourself struggling to fit in then feel free to ask them for advice." Ms Grimwood encouraged him and Lincoln felt himself smiling nodding at her. "That's the spirit and I have something to help you..." Ms Grimwood saying taking a pair of noise cancelling earmuffs, "Winnie likes to howl during the full moon nights and this will help you sleep." Ms Grimwood explained.

"Thanks for this Ms Grimwood." Lincoln told her and she said that dinner would be in 2 hours; she had already taken care of the meal options for their new human boy student since they needed to feed their coaches.

During dinner time Lincoln at the table didn't look at the rotten and weird looking food that the girls were eating and focused on the pizzas that he was eating which was quite good. What was more unbelievable than the monster food was seeing the infamous Shaggy & Scooby appetite and how it was definitely not all just hype. Already they had about 8th helpings and just kept eating; a fraction of their food would have been enough to even feed all the residents of the Loud House with no one able to eat seconds.

"Ms Grimwood; can you afford this as I think feeding your gym coaches alone must take up a percentage of your school's budget?" Lincoln asked as the girls giggled and Ms Grimwood smiled at him.

"Don't worry as I have my family money as well as side businesses to fall back on for extra funding." Ms Grimwood told him assuringly.

"Is this like dinner at your house Lincoln Winnie?" asked before stuffing her face and Lincoln laughed shaking his head.

"Oh no; a bit more chaotic and when it's ordered pizza it's arguing about who gets to have the last slice, fighting for it before Mum tells us that we get another pizza thanks to a coupon." Lincoln explained to their amusement.

"They call us monsters." Phantasma laughed and Lincoln knew on the look off her face that she had meant it playfully so he didn't take any offense.

"I for one am glad to be sitting here with all my friends once more at this second home for all of us." Sibella said smiling looking to the other girls who smiled back to her. "That goes for you two coaches." SIbella told Shaggy and Scooby who each gave a thumbs up as their mouths were full at the moment. "I hope that it can now include you too Lincoln. Human boy or not, you're a Grimwood now and I see no reason why you can't join us in our group here at the school!" Sibella said to Lincoln making him surprised but saw nothing but encouraging smiles at the table.

"Why don't we have a picture of our Grimwood students together?" suggested Ms Grimwood as the octopus went to get a calendar and the six students went up to the side of the tabel and smiled together posing for the picture.

"...Can't even be photoshopped as I saw them on the video chat; this is the actual Shaggy and Scooby of Mystery Inc fame!" Clyde excitedly explained to his and Lincoln's friend group as they were gathered at his house and they looked at the photo saved onto Clyde's phone in awe.

"...So many people in costumes trying to hide their crimes and a bus filled with teenagers always running into them. We can only dream of having a life like that." Rusty said in awe.

"I read that once they found fake aliens in a desert; government agents trying to mine for gold who insisted that there were real ones nearby. I only wish that Lincoln could ask them and clarify because I know that there must be!" Zach said excitedly as they laughed but Stella was oddly silent.

"You alright there Stella?" asked Liam as they looked at her and she jumped looking at them.

"Sorry just missing him already and how in a few days we will have to brave middle school without him." Stella explained after catching herself.

"Don't worry we will miss him but we will be together and it's not like we won't get to talk to him by video chat and all that!" Clyde told Stella and she smiled a litt.e

Lincoln being away, the very idea of it felt more bad to her than if it was any other member of their friend group. It just had to be that he was her first friend in Royal Woods, that was all. Now his turn to be the new boy in a new new city and a new school where there are only girls. Several girls that he could possibly want to go after to date...

Why would that be upsetting? Lincoln was her friend, her best one but nothing more than that. She wasn't after a boyfriend and only wanted to be friends with the boys, be apart of their group. Still if she was after one; there probably was ony one clear option who was friendly and funny...

She was basically just trying to convince herself.

Later Lincoln had his laptop set up for video chat with Lori who was with Bobby at the family store with Ronnie Anne making herself known as well. Their family would still be in the long road trip home.

"So I think I made a smooth first impression with all of my new classmates and housemates here at the school." Lincoln said smiling and Lori rolled her eyes at him.

"Great, you have chosent to embelish the story so literally the only way I am going to get the real story was drive there and ask everyone how it really happened?" Lori asked and Lincoln gulped as she knew him too well. Then she laughed and said "In all seriousness, glad to see that you have settled in." Lori said after dropping the rolling her eyes thing.

"Thanks Lori; the gym coaches here are cool and Ms Grimwood said to look to them for advice to settle into the school. So I have mentors here." Lincoln said as the door opened and the video chat camera caught Lincoln coming in with comics and a figure on top.

"Hey Lincoln; sorry but I was like going through my old comics and stuff and found some that I have in trade paperback form so I don't need the issues; plus this release of a Commander Cool figure that I already had but this one was in a two pack with a new figure that I was after so you can have this if you want them." Shaggy offered and Lincoln smied as he was facing him.

"Thanks Shaggy; Ace will unquestionably always be my favourite but I have plenty of dabbling in other heroes and Commander Cool is much worthy of his name." Lincoln said accepting the stuff before Shaggy noticed the camera there. "This is my sister Lori and her boyfriend Bobby and his sister Ronnie Anne. This is Coach Shaggy of Mystery Inc!" Lincoln introduced with a smirk as Shaggy waved.

"Your new mentor is a guy that spent his teen years running away from guys in Halloween costumes?" Ronnie Anne asked with her arms folded as Lori and Bobby giggled.

"Come on; it's not like I ever wanted to get near them... I was always ignored when I wanted us to to go somewhere else but no we always have to stop at each spooky place and Scooby and I were always 'volunteered' by the gang..." Shaggy muttered shaking his head. "Plus the girls wanted to end the day with a back to Grimwood's game of volleyball and wanted to know if you were up for it?" Shaggy asked and Lincoln smiled.

"Will be there soon Shaggy!" Lincoln told him as he faced the computer with him leaving, "I guess that we will have to cut this short as i will now be ending the day with my new friends!" Lincoln said with the three waving to him.

"Bye Lincoln; next time I wantto ask if your coach has that talking dog as how do you find an animal like that?" Ronnie Anne said as Sergio the parrot came into frame.

"What am I, chopped liver?" he asked as Bobby shooed him away.

"Good luck out there Lincoln!" said Bobby.

"Glad that you are taking my advice; don't be afraid to make new friends at the school while remembering your other ones." Lori told him and Lincoln waved as the call ended and she shut down. He smiled at the photo display with the new dinner one now set up next to the one with all the family and friends in it.
