Lincoln wondered what it said about him that he was able to get used to life at a girl's monster boarding school so quickly; able to understand his lessons and get along with his fellow students. Probably helps that there were fewer girls at the school than there were girls at his home with them being less chaotic and prone to fights despite their monstrous and scary quirks.

Lincoln couldn't help but laugh at the fact that a group of monster girls who were the daughters of famous monsters were actually more behaved than his sisters were (he still couldn't forget about Elsa offering to let him take his turn in the bathroom before her on his first morning which was something that no one did at the Loud House). In fact Lincoln despite the their quirks and their taste of diet (Lincoln could only look in disgust at the rotten vegetables that was grown on the school grounds for them to eat); they actually creeped him out less than his very human sister Lucy did with how morbid and seriously she took her gothic personality.

Plus they didn't just appear before you, without you noticing. Sibella would at least show herself as a table before appearing before you.

Plus it was cool having two of his biggest inspirations Shaggy and Scooby Doo there are his gym teachers. They admitted about how they hated all the mysteries that they got roped into but Lincoln thought it was cool how as teenagers; they went about finding monsters (who were unmasked as costumed criminals but still still) solving crimes.

Right now they were having their breakfast and the squid butler came in and dropped off the mail; they looked to be mostly bills and magazines but on top there was a flyer. Shaggy picked it up to read it and it was for a fair being set up in the town filled with amusements, acts and games. Lincoln's mouth was wide open upon hearing that Mick Swagger would be among the musical guests and the list already seemed pretty impressive and the entry for the fair was quite cheap as well!

"Mick Swagger and this fair is going for that low for entry? One of the my older sisters is the biggest Mick fan in the world and I know that his concerts don't go for that low. Plus the other acts... I have seen on booking websites that their concert tickets can go for more? How could the city possibly afford all of them and charge so little?" Lincoln asked perplexed and Ms Grimwood giggled.

"The mayor comes from a rich family; his uncle owns the big mega city mall in the big city close by. Election day is next month and he uses the fair to make sure that he keeps his PR up high and to increase his chances of winning." Ms Grimwood explained and Lincoln digested the information.

"On one hand it sounds diabolical but I can't deny that how good a tactic it sounds and I am certain that it's pretty tame in how dishonest and corrupt politicians could be..." Lincoln muttered but thought about all the things listed for this fair and how exciting the whole thing sounded; he decided that he wouldn't mind at all taking part in this stunt for a mayoral campaign.

The other girls looked interested as well and Ms Grimwood said "I can take you all on my treat to this special event. Something to look forward to this early in the school year; especially as the annual volleyball game is still quite a long while away."

Lincoln was surprised and thought about how on the TV; not only was there a paid PPV box but when Lincoln had a look he saw all the streaming services that Ms Grimwood was paying for on top of how nice she was and how helpful she was in getting them all to understand the lessons. Lincoln decided that Ms Grimwood was probably the best teacher and principal/headmistress that he ever had.

Soon came another normal (well normal from Grimwood's) school day ending it off with a gym class and despite how cool they were; Shaggy and Scooby did make sure that they kept fit during the class. Most of the girls were leaving and Sibella said that she wanted to rest with a nap up in a tree as she turned into a bat and Lincoln saw Tanis was playing with a basketball only to get her legs wrapped up in bandages.

Feeling his older brother instincts from when his younger sisters needed help; he went to help untangle her bandages and help her up. "Thanks Lincoln; do you think that you can please play with me?" Tanis asked with those adorable eyes that Lincoln found himself that even if he didn't want to play with her (not that he didn't), he would be unable to turn her down.

Lincoln went easy on the younger Tanis with the game with them having fun and getting in the game. He was starting to think about how the girls saw him as better with sports than he was actually when they played together; thinking that it could be good if he could get Tanis to see him as some sort of sports star. He then aimed for the hoop and threw it as hard as he could but his aim was off as the basketball...

Went up in the tree and a squeal was heard as it hit a certain bat and Sibella fell and transformed as she hit the ground. Lincoln panicked as he ran up to Sibella and helped her up as she groaned; "I am so sorry Sibella... It was my fault; I was playing with Tanis and I wanted to show off... I told you about how I was never good at sports but I thought if I could get one of my youngest classmates to see me like how other people see my sister Lynn for once... I can do whatever favours you want to make it up to you..." Lincoln shrieked and Sibella came over and smiled at her.

"Don't worry Lincoln, I can tell that it was an accident and it will take a lot more to seriously hurt the daughter of Dracula. I will be fine in no time but I appreciate the concern." Sibella told him as Lincoln just stared. "You are alright Lincoln?" Sibella asked batting an eye and Lincoln just looked apologetic; incidents like this at the Loud House and you don't really expect to be instantly forgiven like this.

"He is just peeved because I bet he did that on purpose hoping that he would get to kiss you all better." teased Winnie having gone outside to watch what all the commotion was all about and Lincoln gave a glare to the direction of the young wolfgirl.

"Thanks for playing with me Lincoln but next time; you don't need to try and make yourself look cool because I already think you are already." Tanis said with a smile as in her head she was thinking about when her mummy father and her first got the letter from Ms Grimwood saying that the school was taking in a human boy for the first time. She was concerned and had fears that he would try and run away like Shaggy and Scooby tried to on their first days; or on a worst case scenario think that all the monsters were evil abomination that needed to be extinguished.

Even though he was clearly not expecting the monsters when he first arrived; he not only didn't try to run away from them but didn't make any impression that he even had scorn against them for being monsters. Lincoln seemed pretty nice and cool in her young mind.

Lincoln smiled as Tanis left and Sibella told Lincoln "nice of you to do that for young Tanis; we consider Tanis to be the young sister of our group to look after and before we already had no doubts that you are one of us at the Grimwood gang so this was just further clinching." Lincoln smiled furth and Sibella then smiled saying "I want to go back to my nap in the tree to rest but if you really insist to do something to make it up for your accident... I wouldn't mind you helping me go back to sleep with a repeat of when we first met."

Lincoln looked puzzled thinking back but then Sibella turned into her bat and it came back to him; when he first thought that she was just a bat in the house. She then hanged on a lower branch of the tree and Lincoln nervously stroked her fur as she then went to sleep. "Well that happened..." Lincoln muttered as he went back inside the school.
