Izuku woke up pretty slowly, all things considered, with the smell of food cooking in the air. The only Pokémon with him was Cinnamon, but he could hear the other two roughhousing outside the tent.

Stretching out Izuku groans, a few of his scars feel a bit tight…. Something is going to happen soon.. great.

Cinnamon huffs beside him, obviously from being disturbed by Izuku moving.

"Sorry.."

Hnff

"Mhmm," sitting up, Izuku fixes some of his clothing before crawling out of the tent.

"Good morning, my boy! How was your rest?"

"It was alright…" Izuku yawned, "Kinda hungry though."

"Well that's good! I just finished making breakfast! Come sit down, Akari is still resting, but she'll be up soon. So after eating if you want to complete a few more checks in the Pokédex you're welcome too."

Izuku nods before sitting down with Laventon. Rowlet sits by the professor, Cinnamon who eventually crawled out of the tent laid beside Izuku, both Lola and Drake snuggled up beside Cinnamon after they tired out.

Izuku, while he's waiting for their food to cool, starts sketching out a new outfit and some notes for additional details he might add.

He's not stupid enough to think he won't find some more trouble, or get jumped by an Alpha Pokémon. So he adds armour ideas, more like light armour, so leathers and the like.

Maybe gloves that have claws?

Well, he can think about that more later. After eating Izuku puts his notebook away and the four of them walk deeper into the Mirelands for an hour or two.

...

Izuku decided that he has a burning hatred for Parasect and Paras.

Those… little bugs are so annoying and they hunt him down relentlessly. He doesn't even feel bad when he has Cinnamon torch the buggers.

Pulling himself up a small ledge he shakes his arms out, he really needs to work out more. Izuku starts his way back to camp, the rest of his team are put away so he could sneak his way back and not run into Paras anymore.

After getting back to camp, Laventon checks his Pokédex and gives him the rewarded money before the three of them pack up and head back to Jubilife.

Most of the walk is spent watching their surroundings and making sure their Pokémon don't run off too far.

It's around midday when they reach the Obsidian Fieldlands, at which they take a short break before continuing to Jubilife.

When they finally reach the village Akari and Izuku both head to Kamado's office, and are met with Adaman and Beni speaking with the commander.

"Izuku, Akari! We have a situation here!" Beni speaks to them as soon as they enter.

"What is it?" Akari asks.

"Let me explain," Adaman faces them, "Lilligant, our clan's Lady of the Ridge, is in a frenzy.. and Arezu knowingly kept this from me!"

"The lady of… w-what?" Izuku speaks up.

"Yes- there are only female Lilligant, which makes this honoured one our lady of the Ridge. But this isn't the time for cultural lessons! I'd like to find out what Arezu was thinking, but she's nowhere in the village."

Beni takes over, "Last I saw, she was at the Wallflower, polishing off a bit ol' plate of potato mochi. Not that I blame her- my cooking is simply irresistible, after all."

Kamado grunts, "If Arezu of the Diamond Clan was somehow involved in the situation with the raging Ursaluna of the Pearl Clan, it could lead to the two clans going at each other's throats again!"

Adaman glares lightly at Kamado.

"Tell me, Commander. If we do end up in a struggle with the Pearl Clan, what will your people do?"

Kamado turns away, "We would be forced to remain neutral.."

"Meaning what?"

"If we were to show support for one side, it would put us at odds with the other. We came here to create a home for ourselves, not to take part in tearing the land apart."

Adaman holds his head, "Right of course… after all the work you put in to get us to treat one another as equals and keep up from fighting.. I suppose it's no surprise you'd refuse to intervene if trouble were to break out again."

Kamado faces Izuku and Akari.

"You two, perhaps you have some idea how we might address this situation?"

Akari looks a little confused and shakes her head.

Izuku hums a little before speaking up, "I-I could call Ursaluna?"

"Ursaluna? So he and Warden Calaba found you worthy? That's perfect, then." Adaman smiles, "Ursaluna should be able to sniff out Arezu, wherever she's gone."

"If you are strong enough that Ursaluna deemed you worthy enough, then you should be ready to quell Lilligant's frenzy as well." Kamado comments.

Adaman nods, "I'll head to Lilligant's seat, then- Brava Arena, it's called, if you'll excuse me!"

Akari and Izuku move out of his way. Beni takes his leave as well.

"Listen well you two. You must quell any Pokémon that could cause harm to the people of Hisui. Always remember: we came here to make a new home where we could live without war and strife."

"Yes sir!" Akari yelps out.

Izuku nods nervously in agreement.

"Great, now Izuku you see dismissed. Akari let me hear about your progress."

Izuku nods and scurries away to go speak with Cyllene.

...

After making sure to stop by the Wallflower to get some potato mochi (both for the trip back to the Mirelands and for Ursaluna to track) Izuku sets off.

Since it's just him this time, it's a lot faster to ride Lord Wyrdeer than to just walk. After reaching the border to the Mirelands, Izuku bids farewell to Wyrdeer and summons Ursaluna.

While he does feel bad from summoning them from whatever they're doing, this is kinda important. Once Ursaluna gets the scent of Arezu, Izuku climbs on and they head off.

Lola and Drake were running around beside Ursaluna while Cinnamon sat on top with Izuku.

Eventually he finds her sitting on the ground with a pack beside her.

"A-Arezu!" Running up he kneels beside her.

"Oh, Izuku… how did it all go with Ursaluna?"

"I-.. I helped him."

She nods, "Thanks a bunch, fella. But.. how'd you find me all the way out here?"

"Ursaluna f-found you.. because of the m-mochi."

"He tracked me all the way out here by the scent of the potato mochi I ate? That Ursaluna sure is something. I know he's descended from one of the Pokémon that were blessed by Almighty Sinnoh.. but still, wow!"

She sighs, "My licks run out, though… as you can most likely tell. I got chased by a Pokémon and sprained my ankle pretty bad as I was running away. It's almost like the world wants to punish me…"

At some point Ursaluna must have walked off to go fetch someone cause next thing they know-

"Ahh, there you are. Arezu, right?"

"Eeek!" Arezu startles.

Izuku jumped a bit too.

"M-Mistress Calaba! Uh, I-I-I didn't-" she stuttered.

"I owe you an apology. I treated you with disrespect, thinking you were just some whelp from the Diamond Clan. I'm sorry for that, I should have treated you better."

Izuku frowns slightly, they should treat each other better… all of them, not just because she's a higher rank than originally thought.

"Huh? Wait. But…"

"It's not your fault that Lilligant became frenzied nor that my Ursaluna was so enraged. You were trying to help them both, weren't you? I didn't even have the courtesy to listen to you." Calaba shakes her head, "You'd think someone who's lived as long as I have would be more patient."

Arezu looks down in shame, "It's okay… I didn't do a good job explaining myself, either. Ursaluna only started acting weird after he got too close to Lilligant and smelled her perfume. She was already frenzied by that point, so I'm sure that's what caused it…"

Izuku's eyes widened, if that's true… he looks to his team… he'll have to do this alone, or with just Akari and him.

"Ah, that explains the strange powder I found on Ursaluna. It must've been powder from Lilligant."

Izuku speaks up, "S-She sprained her ankle escaping a Pokémon, Warden."

"Yeah.." She laughs nervously, "See, the reason I went to Jubilife was to get help for Ursaluna and also learn about crafting. But while I was there, I bumped into Professor Laventon, and he told me about the balms you used to quell Kleavor. So I thought I'd make some for Lilligant using her favourite foods.. you galaxy people know all sorts of things. I'd like to learn even more from you, really…"

There's a pause before a new voice speaks up.

"Well, then we'd better take care of our lady and get this mess resolved first!"

A little more prepared this time, Izuku turns to see Adaman walking over.

"Adaman!" Arezu exclaims.

"What were you thinking, doing all this yourself? Did you think I couldn't help you? Though.. no one would blame you for thinking so. Not much of a leader, am I? I've never seen Almighty Sinnoh with my own eyes. And I failed to imagine that Lilligant might have become frenzied, too…" he frowns, before looking at Izuku, "Listen up, Izuku! I'll take the balms that Arezu made and meet you at Brava Arena!"

"Don't you worry, Arezu. Izuku will calm Lilligant, and that will be that. Things should settle down. Now, head to Brava Arena, Izuku. That's where Lilligant's seat lies. My dear Bibarel and I will make sure she reaches her lady!"

Izuku nods, "T-Thanks!"

Turning, Izuku recalls his Pokémon before hopping into Ursaluna, who takes him near Brava Arena, but far enough to not get caught by the pollen.

...

By the time Adaman gets there Izuku already has a pretty decent idea of what he's going to do.. that will hopefully work, if he's right about the Lady's typing.

"Izuku! I take it, you're ready?"

He nods.

"Good. Lady Lilligant's a sight to see, even in her frenzy. Behold her, and be grateful! I hope we didn't keep you waiting."

"You didn't."

"Good."

Calaba and Arezu walk up behind him.

"All it took was one of my poultices to get Arezu's leg all patched up." Calaba gestures to Arezu.

"Calaba, ma'am. I'm deeply sorry we've had to lean on your help so much- especially as we're from different clans." Adaman apologises.

Calaba waves him off, "Arezu tried to solve the whole situation herself. I daresay she bit off more than she could chew and caused some trouble, but her heart was in the right place."

Arezu takes a deep breath before facing Izuku, "Listen! The Lady of the Ridge, Lilligant, is like a dancer- always in motion, always darting about. You'll want to watch her real close and learn how to dodge her moves!"

Adaman blinks before picking up, "That's right. If you keep dodging, she might get tired out- and that'll be your opening! That's when you can attack back, prove your might! And don't let me down!"

Izuku nods, picking up a satchel full of palms he heads up to the Arena.

The arena is foggy as he walks in, he almost thought it would be more… soggy underneath him, but no, it's solid.

Izuku looks around before a wind kicks up, spiralling all the fog together. When the fog dissipates there stands a glowing figure.

With petals and leaves making up her outfit, that looks like a mix between ballet and martial arts, and a tulip flowering atop her crown.

Lilligant, Lady of the Ridge.

She idles for a few seconds before doing a few tricks, a small twirl, a flip, pose, pose, pose.

Before curtsying.

And immediately jumping at him.

Dodging out of the way and watches closely as she jumps lightly three times before leaping into the air, twirling as she lands causing a large ring attack of greens and purple to advance outwardly.

Izuku chucks a few balms at her. Missing one.

She jumps again at him, doing the same attack, this time she jumps twice.

He dodges both, and throws more balms.

Another jump attack, this time three.

One.

Two.

Three-

He got clipped, that's fine, it's only his sleeve.

He throws more balms.

'What's her typing?' He thinks, 'Fighting? Probably, she's pretty strong.'

She stays crouched, before spinning fast as a ring of green power spans outwards.

Izuku jumps it, another ring, another jump.

He throws more balms.

Hop, hop, twirl.

Different attack pattern.

She jumps, a glow pulsates from her. As she lands and a blast radius forms he rolls back, before having to jump forward over a ring.

More balms.

Hop, hop, jump.

He rolls, and dodges the first one cleanly, the second one clips his foot.

He almost trips but stays up.

She stomps angrily, before jumping and doing three consecutive attacks.

He dodges them all before getting hit by a fourth, though she stumbles as she wears herself out.

Throwing his last few balms the glow breaks away from her and shoots into the sky.

Lilligant stands, shakily, and bows gently towards him.

She jumps away briefly before returning, a plate wrapped in her arm-like leaves.

He takes it, and feels it resonates with the others in his possession, he hides it away.

"Thank you.."

She nods.

The others walk up behind him, he looks to them.

"Hey- thank you. You didn't just save Lilligant- you saved Arezu as well, I appreciate it."

"First Ursaluna and now Lilligant! You're amazing, you know that?" Arezu asks."

Izuku blushes and scratches his cheek nervously, "I-It's no big deal.."

She waves him off, "Being all frenzied didn't suit Lilligant on bit. I'm so happy she's back to her graceful self, thank you!"

Lilligant twirls in happiness.

Lilliii~

"Arezu! You still owe someone an apology." Adaman points out.

"Huh-?"

"Oh, don't worry about it. A young one like her is bound to get caught up in some trouble from time to time." Calaba closes her eyes, "Remember what's written in the Solaceon Ruins? 'All lives touch other lives to create something new and anew and alive.', there's wisdom in those words.. I imagine they're the teachings of Almighty Sinnoh itself."

Calaba looks at Izuku, "Of course, I'd completely forgotten about them until a certain somebody helped me remember."

Adaman smiles, "We owe you one, ma'am."

The old warden looks sternly at the younger, "Don't try to solve everything by yourself, Arezu. You're a warden. Of all people, we should know how to stand in solidarity with others. It's our job to stand side by side with Pokémon, after all."

"Yes, I know… I'm sorry…"

"Well, I can hardly start yelling at you now after Calaba wrapped all that up so nicely. Just one more thing, Arezu. I know you were trying to do what you thought was right, and I approve of that. But from now on, do it without keeping things from me. Agreed?" Adaman grins, "Other than that, no need to change a thing. Except maybe put in some training! If anything else happens to Lilligant, I need you ready to protect her like the warden you are!"

"I understand…" Arezu nods.

Calaba smiles gently, "Let's work together from now on to keep the Mirelands safe, Arezu. I'll be sure to inform Irida that both the Diamond Clan and Galaxy Team helped save Ursaluna." She turns to Izuku.

"You did well, Izuku. All our different groups finally joined hands to work together today. I'll admit it was a fun day for me, but now it's about time I be on my way." She waves gently before walking off, her Biberal following after.

"Listen. You know me- I'm Adaman, leader of the Diamond Clan, and I worship Almighty Sinnoh, the ruler of time. Time is all about change, and we can't live in fear of what- we can only try to help the time we live in change for the better." he smiles, "Something tells me helping you folks out will help me do that, I'm looking forward to it!

"Thank you for everything, Izuku. I think I'll stay and talk to Lilligant for a while."

Eventually Adaman leaves as well. And after saying goodbye to Arezu Izuku heads off.

As he is walking back to camp to sleep, he hears a sharp cry followed by a loud boom!

Turning sharply Izuku runs in the direction of the cry, it's still light enough he can see, but it won't be for long.

Panting, he's greeted with a large, red eyed Onyx. The stone snake-like Pokémon.

'Alpha, it's larger than should be and looks particularly pissed. '

Looking to where it's glaring, he spots a small brown creature.

'A… Teddiursa'

The Onyx roars before pulling its tail ups to attack.

Izuku doesn't think, he just runs.

Tackling the small bear he braces as he hits the ground before pushing himself up and running.

He hears the Onyx roar louder behind him but he doesn't stop. The small Pokémon shakes in his arms, terrified of what just happened.

He slows after a while, still keeping a slow jog up as he gently rubs the Teddiursa's back and whispers quietly.

He needs to get back to camp.

Maneuvering the slowly calming Pokémon in hit arms he pulls out his Arc-phone. And checks the map.

He's not that far, maybe ten minutes… anyway he starts walking.

The professor is not at the camps, but that's to be expected, he's either sleeping or at a different camp with Akari (or at his office).

So after releasing his Pokémon, he crawls into a tent.

They all look curiously at the sleeping Teddiursa but leave them alone. Izuku sets the small bear down a bit away but still within grabbing distance and settles down to sleep.

...

When Izuku wakes up, he opens his eyes to a beady brown eyes looking into his.

"Oh.. hello."

Grrrr-

The Pokémon in front of him smiles and pats his cheek.

"Yes good morning." Izuku smiles back before pushing himself up and leaving the tent.

Cinnamon is outside already watching as Lola and Drake play fight.

Izuku sits down beside them, with the Teddiursa following soon after. He gets started on cutting up some berries.

"So, I take it, you want to stay with us?" He mutters looking at the small bear as he passes off some food.

Grrrra-!

"Alright.." Izuku pulls out a Poke-ball, waiting for the Teddiursa to nod and taps their head, and quickly putting the ball down before the fireworks trigger.

Then he releases her, and starts to think of a name.

"Hmmm, how does… Bellena or Bella sound?"

Grrrwo!

He smiles brightly, "Well, welcome to the team, Bellena!"

...

He grunts as the Vespiquen charges at him, he dodges of course.

Brushing his hair out of his face he throws two Poke-balls out.

"Greta, Blaze! Flamethrower!"

He watches as the bee queen Pokémon is engulfed in flames, it quickly flees, dropping the item he was looking for.

Walking over he picks up the plate.

"Stone..."

Grrrow?

"No, nothings wrong, thanks for the help!" He pats Greta on the head.

G-ch-ch-!

"Yes, thanks for your help too."

He pats the shiny Alolan Marowak on the skull, Its flames glowing brightly.

"Well, that's two plates… the others are probably out of reach for now…"

Standing up, he scratches at his stubble.

"Man, I could use a smoke right about now…"
