Summary: I was quite happy with my open marriage until I figured out that Bella Swan was the one I really wanted to be with. But it's not easy. She'd be viewed as the homewrecker who broke the perfect Hollywood power couple. Would she be ready for it?

"That was a very inspiring speech, Edward." Marcus Denali said.

"Thanks." I smiled.

"Too good, Edward. Too good." Irina said, "You're such an inspiration to youth. Hollywood is lucky to have a youth icon with a superstar quality."

"Aah, you flatter me, but thanks." I said.

And people kept praising me for the next few minutes.

To be honest, I found it really embarrassing. Sometimes it was still crazy to me that I was part of this stupid glamour Hollywood world now.

I didn't plan any of this.

I never knew I'd receive such success.

I didn't even think I was that talented to deserve that, but well, here I was.

I hated any kind of social events, but at the same time I felt these kinds of charity galas were not too bad. I mean, if I could use my fame to be helpful to society to some extent, well, maybe it wasn't too bad. And usually Tanya, my wife was the one who grabbed all the attention with her fashion statements, but she was busy with the shoot right now.

But... I was fucking tired and I just wanted to go back home and get a good sleep.

"Tired?" Someone asked. I turned around to see who that was.

Bella Swan.

"Yup." I groaned.

"That was a very inspiring speech, Mr. Cullen," she smiled.

"Shut up." I chuckled, "You don't need to say that."

"No, I'm not kidding. That was indeed a good speech. You should realize that sometimes people do praise you for real." she smiled.

"I don't know..." I shrugged my shoulders, "It just looks fake to me. I don't think I'm ever going to get used to this fake world."

"Oh, come on!" she chuckled, "You should get used to it now. This is your life. This is your destiny. Just accept it!"

She had such a great smile, and... She was beautiful!

Eh, it was a well known fact, but I mean, right now I was finding her beautiful in the way someone I'd like to... fuck.

Shut up! I told myself.

She was hardly one of the people I had known since ages, and she was someone who hadn't changed her attitude towards me after my overnight success.

And she knew me as a perfect married gentleman!

Also, wasn't she dating Jacob Black anyway? Didn't they break up? Did they? I couldn't recall.

"What are you up to nowadays?" I asked. I had to change the topic before I ended up doing something stupid.

"Same old." she said, "Leaving for Paris tomorrow."

"Oh, Paris Fashion week?" I said, "I'm going to be there on Friday."

"Nice." she smiled, "I'm actually going to come back on Friday morning."

"Hmmm..." I said.

Naah! I was just going to ask her.

Look at her!

She was looking so... fuckable tonight.

"What are you doing tonight?" I asked.

"I don't know..." she said as she took a sip of her drink, "Just want to get a good sleep. I've an early morning flight tomorrow. Why?"

"Oh, nothing." I shrugged my shoulders, "That sounds like a great plan." I smiled.

Fuck.
