Hey my fellow Yugioh fans!

So, this idea came to me when I was looking for one and so far, I haven't found one. So, why not type one. I mean I did find one, but that person only had one chapter but nothing more.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this new Yugioh fanfic. Enjoy!

Yugi slowly opened his eyes before getting up. He looked around and noticed that he was in some sort of boat which confused the small teen.

'Strange, why am I in a boat? And where are Joey, Tristan and Tea?' Yugi thought as he sat on the side of the bed.

That's when he noticed he was wearing nothing, just an Egyptian skirt.

Wait, Egyptian skirt?

Yugi looked at his hands to see that his skin was tan before placing his hands on his head to feel that he was wearing something. He got up and looked around but didn't see a mirror.

That's when the door opened and there stood a soldier, bowing to him.

"Prince, we will be porting soon."

"Oh, y-yes, thank you for letting me know," said Yugi, nervously.

The soldier bowed again before closing the door.

Yugi sighed in relief as he sat down on the bed.

'Right, calm down… me and my friends just found the true door and as I was about to jump, I blackout… did something happened? And why did that soldier call me Prince? Man, I'm so confused.'

That's when memories went through his mind, memories from…

"No way! The Pharaoh had a little brother… and he looked just like me," gasped Yugi.

After calming down a bit more, Yugi walked over to the small table and noticed a few papers. He grabbed one and saw it has hieroglyphs, but strangely, he could read it.

Surprised that he could read hieroglyphs, Yugi pushed it aside before putting on the rest of his clothes and jewelry. He sighed and waited for someone to get him.

It took about an hour or so, when Yugi reached the palace. The small teen was in awe to see how massive and beautiful it looked.

The small teen had to thank the Pharaoh's little brother's memories, if not, he would be clueless on how to get to the throne room. But that's when he got nervous as he didn't know if his other self would remember him or not.

Meanwhile, at the throne room, Yami was nervous as he didn't know how to greet his 'brother'. He didn't know he had a brother, but then again, he doesn't have any memories of his family.

His vizier, Shimon who happened to look like Yugi's grandfather, told him that his brother was returning from a yearlong oversea of studying.

'I wonder if my brother knows my real name?' Yami thought when someone announced his brother was coming in.

Yami took a deep breath before widening his eyes upon seeing his brother.

'He looks just like Yugi,' thought the young Pharaoh.

"Welcome back, Prince Atsu," greeted Shimon.

Yugi smiled, "It's great to be back. So, should I start calling you Pharaoh, brother?"

"Even after a year, you still act like a child," said Seto.

'Kaiba… no, Seto, in Atsu's memories, Seto became a Priest when he was sixteen,' thought Yugi. He then smirked, "Well, I am a kid after all."

Isis smiled, "Even though, Prince Atsu, you still need to show respect to your brother."

Yugi sighed, "Alright, sorry. So, anything happened while I was away?"

Before anyone could reply, Mana came out of nowhere and gave Yugi a huge hug, causing the two to fall onto the floor.

"Mana! Get off!" Yugi said without thinking.

Mahad sighed before picking up his student, "How many times do I have to tell you not to do that to the young Prince?"

Mana pouted, "Like a thousand… but you can't blame me! It's been over a year that I haven't seen Atsu."

"It's Prince Atsu," corrected Mahad, helping Yugi up from the floor. "Besides, I believe the young Prince would like to catch up with the Pharaoh."

"Fine – but I get him afterwards!" Mana said before leaving the throne room.

"Why don't you take your brother to your room, Pharaoh? The two of you have a lot to catch up on," suggested Shimon.

Yami nodded before getting up from the throne, "Very well. Come… Atsu."

"Right," said Yugi, following the Pharaoh. He bit his lower lip, 'How can I know if Yami remembers me? Mm, I need to say something that only Yami knows…'

When the two reached Yami's room, Yugi sat on the bed while the Pharaoh was biting his lower lip as he walked over to the bed.

'What do I do? I don't know how to answer any questions he asks,' thought Yami as he sat next to his brother. "Um, so how's your oversea trip?"

'Right, here goes nothing,' thought Yugi. "It was fine. I learned quite a few things that father wanted me to learn. I wish I was here when father passed. Not only that, but I was also one day late for coming to your coronation ceremony."

"Well, you didn't really miss much. The ceremony was… um, rather uneventful in my book."

"Say brother, have you… um, engrave your name in that cartouche yet?" Yugi asked.

Yami was about to reply when he widened his eyes. No one here should know about the cartouche that Tea gave him and so far, no one has said his actual name.

Yami looked at his brother, "Y-Yugi?"

The small teen smiled and hugged his other half, "You remember! Yami, who know that you had a little brother that looks just like me."

Yami returned the hug, "Nor did I," before letting go of him, "but why didn't Ishizu or Marik told us?"

Yugi thought for a moment, "Maybe… something happened to him during the first time."

"That would mean Atsu died at a young age," said Yami, crossing his arms before realizing something, "Wait! If you're here then are Joey, Tristan and Tea here too?"

Yugi explained to Yami what happened after he was sent into the tablet of memories. After an hour, Yami had a serious look on his face.

"I hope they're alright. I'm not just reliving my memories, but Bakura said that this is the ultimate shadow game."

"Bakura?! You met him already?!" Yugi said in shock. He then frowned, "Ultimate shadow game? That's what Shadi said as well. But what did Bakura mean by the ultimate shadow game?"

Yami sighed, "I'm not sure, but whatever game it is, I'm going to stop him."

Yugi smiled, "And you're not doing it alone. You have me and our friends."

"Thank you, Yugi," said Yami. "Um, by any chance, does Atsu knows my name?"

Yugi shook his head, "I looked through all his memories and when there's a point that he says your name, it was replaced to brother. Sorry."

Yami sighed, "Don't be Yugi. It was wishful thinking. I don't think it would be easy finding my name that quick."

"Yea, and like any game, it's going to be hard finding that one piece," said Yugi. He then gave a playful smirk, "Never thought that my grandpa and some of our friends have a past life here in Egypt when you were Pharaoh. Talk about crazy."

Yami chuckled, "I was complete shock as well. Well, no surprising about Kaiba since his image was in that tablet."

Yugi giggled, "Not only that, but Mana looks just like Dark Magician Girl… and is it just me or, what was his name again, Mahad?"

Yami nodded, "He's a high rank magician and Mana is his student."

"He resembles a bit like Dark Magician," said Yugi.

"Well, his spirit Ka looks like a small version of the Dark Magician," said Yami.

Yugi blinked his eyes, "Spirit Ka? What's that?"

That's when Yami told Yugi about the battle against Bakura yesterday.

"Wow, who knew in the past they had some sort of duel disks," said Yugi, looking at the diadhank on Yami's arm. He grinned, "I bet it was awesome when you summon Obelisk."

Yami chuckled, "Very. I surprised the priests that I know the name of one of the three gods. But hearing my father's voice… come, let's return to the throne room."

Yugi nodded, but as the two got up from the bed, Yami noticed Yugi's height. He frowned, "Did you shrink or something? I know for sure that you grew a bit last summer."

The small teen blushed, "Your little brother is fourteen. So, my height went back to when I was fourteen."

Yami smirked a bit, "At least no one here will make fun of your height."

Yugi pouted while following the Pharaoh back to the throne room where Yami sat on the throne and Yugi stood by his left.

"Ah, just in time. The priests are going to do a mock fight to strengthen their monsters and themselves," informed Shimon.

"Very well, proceed," said Yami.

"Right, are you ready?" Shimon asked the priests. "For this duel, the priests will split into two teams of three. Each team will have three stones."

Yami had a calm expression while Yugi looked a bit excited.

'I'm going to witness an ancient duel,' thought Yugi.

"You may summon one monster each. You may use the sealing stones to call monsters from the shrine, or use the spirits of your own Ka," explained Shimon.

The six priests nodded before getting into their positions.

"The team that defeats all of the opponents' monster's wins!"

The first team was Mahad, Isis, and Karim while the second was Aknadin, Seto and Shada.

"DIAHA!" Shimon said.

"Let's go Duos, my spirit Ka! Mirror of my soul! I summon you!" Seto said.

"Monster Ka sealed in the stone tablet – Zerua, come forth!" Shada said.

"Magus of Illusion!" Mahad said.

"Holy Emanation Spiria!" Isis said.

"Aknadin's team has two monster Ka, Seto's personal spirit, Duos and Shada's Zerua," said Shimon. "Mahad's team has two personal spirits, not one of their three stone tablets has been released. If I know Karim, he must have a trap monster hiding in one of them."

'This… is amazing,' thought Yugi as his eyes shine.

"Even in a training battle, I'll destroy anyone who stands against me!" Seto said. "Duos! Attack the enemy!"

Yugi's eye twitched, 'Yup, just like Kaiba.'

The dark blue monster dashed to Mahad's magician.

"Have you forgotten the power of the Magus, Seto?!" Mahad said.

Seto glared at him.

"Spellbinding Phantasm!" Mahad commanded.

Seto smirked, "It's not that easy, Mahad."

"I choose this moment to summon a Ka! Dark Ushebti!" Aknadin said.

'No! It'll take Duos' place!' Mahad thought.

"The Ushebti are sacrificial substitutes! And so, the Dark Ushebti absorbs the seal intended for my Ka!" Seto said. "And now I can continue my attack!"

"I won't let that happen," said Isis. "Spiria's special power – the Rainbow Barrier!"

The winged monster created a colorful barrier in front of Magus of Illusion.

Seto gritted his teeth, "What? A shielding wall! I can't get to them!"

"Ho, ho, Mahad's side has good teamwork," said Shimon. "Every time Seto tries to crush them with raw strength, they use their special abilities to turn him aside."

Yami and Yugi nodded.

"I'll handle this, Seto!" Shada said. "Zerua, use your power! Dispel Magic!"

'No, he canceled my spell!' Isis thought.

'It's like they're using magic and trap cards, but they use the monster's ability instead,' thought Yugi.

"The Rainbow Barrier is destroyed!" Shada said.

"I've been waiting for this! Trap monster!" Karim said. "Desert trapdoor spider!"

A spider came out of the stone tablet and fired her web at Shada's monster, trapping him in the sticky web.

"He's caught in the spider's web!" Shada said.

"Priest Shada, thank you for destroying the Rainbow Barrier. Now let me… return the favor," said Seto.

'I have a bad feeling,' thought Yugi.

Duos attacked Shada's monster, destroying it.

"What?!" Shada said in disbelief.

"What?! He attacked his own team's monster?!" Mahad said.

Seto laughed, "Each time Duos sacrifice one of his own allies, his power doubles. I'll kill the Dark Ushebti as well – to triple Duos' attack power!"

Again, Seto's monster destroyed Aknadin's monster.

'Yup, that's Kaiba's ancestor,' thought Yami and Yugi.

"I'll take care of all your spirits at once," said Seto.

Mahad, Isis and Karim widened their eyes.

"Duos, Aura Sword! Aura Crush!" Seto commanded.

Dous dashed to Mahad's team of monsters and destroyed them.

"Very well, that's enough Seto! You win," said Shimon.

"Priest Mahad! What kind of spirit is that to protect the Pharaoh's tomb?" Seto questioned the magician priest. "That was pathetic! You need to strengthen your Ba."

Mahad stayed silent.

"Priest Seto, I admit that we lost, but what value is there in winning if it means sacrificing your own allies?" Karim asked.

"War isn't won by the number of soldiers," said Seto as he walked away from the arena. "Mark these words, Priest Karim, I'll listen to you after you become a more worthwhile opponent."

"Priest Seto," said Yami.

"My lord?" Seto said.

"A battle strategy that relies on strength sometimes reveals unforeseen weaknesses," started Yami.

"Is that so?" Seto said.

"True power would never mean hurting your allies," finished Yami.

'Yami, are you…' thought Yugi.

"Really, then what is power?" Seto asked. "It may be presumptuous of me, but I would appreciate instruction from the great Pharaoh. Would it be possible to duel right here and now?"

"Seto! You insult the Pharaoh!" Shimon scolded the young Priest.

Yami stood up, "Very well."

"Great Pharaoh!" Shimon said.

Yami and the priest took their positions in the arena while Yugi stood next to Mahad.

"Excited to see your brother duel for the first time, Prince Atsu?" Mahad asked.

Yugi nodded, "Sure am. I just hope he doesn't humiliate Seto that much… even though he deserves it."

Mahad gave a small smile to the young prince before turning his attention to the arena.

"By all means, I shall enjoy seeing the power of the gods," said Seto.

"No, I won't be summoning any of the gods," said Yami.

Seto looked surprised.

"One stone tablet is all I need," said Yami.

Seto smirked, "No god? But my spirit beast, Duos. Are you sure?"

"You don't need to hold back, Seto," said Yami.

"Oh, I don't? Well, then…," started Seto.

"Diaha!"

"I summon Duos!" Seto said.

'How are you going to counter him, Yami?' Yugi thought.

"This is the Ka I choose," said Yami as a monster was appearing on the stone tablet. It was a small furball creature that was in the tablet.

"What? That little thing?" Karim said.

Mahad looked worried but calmed down when he saw the young prince's face.

Yugi laughed, 'He's going to do the same thing when he dueled Kaiba in Duelist Kingdom.'

'Is he making fun of me?!' Seto gritted his teeth, 'then, by my power, I'll crush that tablet before that Ka can even be summoned!'

"Aura Crush!" he commanded.

Duos destroyed the stone tablet.

'I did it!' Seto thought, smirking.

Yami smirked a bit, "You think you won? Look again."

Seto was confused before looking at the stone fragments. All the fragments had the same monster appearing in them.

'What?! The monster is appearing on each fragment of the shattered tablet!' he thought.

"This Ka has a special power when its sealing tablet is broken, it multiplies," Yami smiled a bit, "If you attack without thinking, you lose! I summon Kuriboh!"

Multiplies of the small creature came out of the stone fragments and surrounded Duos' sword.

"What?!" Seto said. 'I can't use my sword!'

"See? Power is a fragile thing," said Yami.

Seto was in shock. He couldn't believe power wasn't enough to beat the young pharaoh.

'No matter what, Yami always teaches Kaiba a lesson or two,' thought Yugi as one of the Kuribohs went over to him and landed on top of his head.
