Chapter 28
Later that day…
Yua was just finishing dinner.
The five were telling her how Saitama came to save them when some Gojo uncles came and hassled Shin. She paused for not even Shin told her of these events.
"Saitama was amazing! He used his power and trapped the sorcerers in like an invisible bubble that sent their attacks back at them but not harm anyone around them!" Okimi explained.
"Yeah, we all saw it! The humans thought the sorcerers merely chickened out and faked injuries!" laughed Hotaru.
Saitama was blushing as they spoke.
"Also there are lady dragons that are talking about our great brother!" chimed Rai.
This… made Yua stop.
She peered over at the five and then to Shin who nodded to her. "Lady Tiamat has allowed some to come to the earthly realm apparently. They picked up on it, but they were all eyeing little brother after his display of power. They were smitten."
"Please stop, who would want someone like me," Saitama muttered.
"There you go, selling yourself short… what the hell!" Rook demanded. "Also has anyone seen Mochi?"
That was a good question. "I haven't seen her, but Lady Tiamat said that she is spending time with Hoshi… Hoshi is at the Zen'in estate now isn't he for the time being?"
"Because he smells?" asked Rook.
"Apparently that's part of the reason…" Yua said offhandedly. "At the same time, I haven't seen Suguru all day… not since this morning… that was awkward…"
"Do you have an issue with Pops or something mom? I mean don't get me wrong, I know he was an asshole back in the day…" Rook asked.
"No, no… I am at peace with his past, at the same time he already proved to me that he has changed for the better. Your aunt put him through hell for a reason." The whole table shuttered. "Yes, I don't think anyone here… besides your father… would be foolish enough to upset your auntie…"
"Oji is fair game but mind the risks…" snickered Shin.
To be safe than sorry, Yua texted Mochi to ensure she was okay. When she got a reply back stating she was fine and staying for dinner at Hoshi's house. 'I'll be certain Satoru picks her up later' she thought.
As dinner hit the table, Satoru returned and yet… "Where's Suguru?" she asked.
"Honestly, I've been looking for him all day! I… realized what you said was true. I am forcing this at the same time… I didn't bring it up with him…"
'NOW he's maturing…' Yua thought and rolled her eyes.
She waited for Suguru to return, but everyone else ate. By the middle of dinner, the door opened. "Suguru?" she asked, yet the moment she turned, Yua froze.
It was Suguru, but… a little larger.
Saitama was stunned. "Pops?!" he demanded.
He was full in the face, had a belly on him and was flushing red. "Uh… sorry I didn't call… I think I'll skip dinner I'm rather full…" he excused himself and went to the room to rest.
'Why the hell do I think he's sexy right now?!' She couldn't get that notion of him out of her head! Why was she drawn to him in such a state!?
"Well, I think I'm done here, sibs, Shin, let's bounce!" Rook called.
"Huh? But where…"
"NOW!" he ordered and shoved everyone out of their chair and out the door. "We're at Oji's!" and closed the door behind him.
"Damn, that boy can read the room…" Satoru said and smirked. He turned to Yua, at the same time, Yua couldn't remember much of anything after the kids left…

At the Zen'in estate.
At first, Naoya was against it. Why did Toji drop his kid off here? Of all times, as well… he's not paid to babysit!
But a few days would pass when suddenly. Someone came to the estate. In fact, Hoshi brought this guest himself. Naoya approached and stared at the sudden company, but paused. "Wait… wait a minute… isn't… that GOJO'S DAUGHTER!?" his eyes widened, a look of greed followed. "Oh, this is good, this is very, very good!" he said in a slimy tone.
"That's not even the best part, she's also a Tooru! The Zen'in clan… we can rise again from the ashes! We will be like a great Phoenix!" it came clear as to what needed to be done. Naoya will make certain that Hoshi obtains a Tooru bride.
As such, actions need to speak louder than words, he was sick with himself knowing what needed to be done. But if it brings the prestige of the Zen'in clan back, he will gladly swallow his pride.
So, he was at the gate and opened it with welcoming arms. "Ah, whose the young lady with you?" he asked with the most polite grin he could muster.
Yet it seems his smile wasn't going over well. "Uh… Naoya… what's with your face?" Hoshi asked.
"He doesn't smile often, does he?"
"HEY!" he protested. Yet was soon to settle himself. "Ahem… pardon me, I am but a mere… house fairy. And you are a guest. So please, welcome and enjoy your stay. If you need anything, I'll be happy to assist you."
They both froze to this. Hoshi was the most perplexed out of the two of them. "Uh… okay… thanks" and began to led The Tooru girl to his home. He will admit, Hoshi made his own residence in a day, and a rather nice, cozy place… not exactly to the taste of a man of the Zen'in clan, and yet he was satisfied with it for the time being.
He remembered him saying. 'It's just a small place for now, I'll go home as soon as I stop stinking… apparently. But who knows when that will happen!" he laughed off his incident but has stayed here at the request of his father.
But now since he has a possible bride, it would be best to help things along as best as Naoya can. If he can have this woman, and she bares his children, the rule in place dictates that they WON'T be dragons… but very powerful sorcerers.
What more could he ask for?
So Naoya tried to be on standby if needed. He kept his distance but every so often he would peer in on the two. They are nothing like typical teenagers, they are not messing around, making out or anything!
He was rather disappointed.
"Come on kid, work with me here. How can you have Zen'in offspring if you don't DO her!" he muttered.
Eventually they left the estate for a short while, apparently Hoshi wanted to cook her a meal for dinner but they lacked supplies. Naoya wanted to go and get them in hopes perhaps… they get board enough to do some… messing around. Yet they insisted. "It's our idea of a date!" the Tooru said.
"Tsk, fine," he growled.
When they were gone, he did a quick sweep of Hoshi's house, he paused when he noticed the girl left her phone behind. So, he decided to send off a message or two. One, indicating she was having her dinner here.
He was about to send another, when one came to her from her monkey of a brother.
'DON'T come home tonight, go to Oji's or even see Choso if you have to, but whatever you do, DO NOT enter that house!'
"Huh… marriage dispute?" he thought. He never thought anyone would raise their voices to one Satoru Gojo. He was a sorcerer powerful enough to command any woman he desired to be submissive… well… according to Naoya's father. All powerful sorcerers have the right to declare and obtain who they want to breed with… for the good of jujutsu society!
Thus, he has to make certain that Hoshi obtains this Tooru for himself. At all costs!
So, he smiled and texted back. 'Maybe I'll stay with Hoshi tonight then, I'm here anyways'
There was a pause until the monkey texted back. "NO funny business sis!"
"Oh, we'll see about that…" Naoya said with a greedy smile.
#
"You noticed it?"
"How the hell could I not? I swear, if he goes as far as trying to get us drunk to sleep together…" Mochi warned.
They both broke out into a fit of laughter. They could see a mile away what Naoya was trying to do. In fact, Maki even warned Mochi ahead of time of the possible interfering with Naoya. "You see, he's a dick. At the same time, he has a sense that the Zen'ins should be on the same level as Gojo sensei… Yeah… right. So if anything, watch your back. He knows you are a Tooru and my clan was obsessed with having one in the family for the sake of power." She warned.
Of course Mochi defended Hoshi to Maki, who merely laughed it off and said. 'He's nowhere near being a Zen'in man… I doubt his mother would allow him to be.'
Hoshi has always been a gentleman to her. In fact, she enjoys his company quite often. They share similar interests and hobbies. Right now, they are trying to master a perfect ramen. Both enjoy it yet could never get the flavor right. Despite the fact she could ask Uncle Eso or Yuuji to help even Nanami's wife Inari, but they have more fun figuring it out for themselves than to be told what to do and how to do it.
Thus, most of their dates involve shopping at farmer's markets, reading up on recipes and cooking for themselves.
If Naoya knew that was their idea of a date, he would probably be disgusted with them.
"I know he is trying to bring back the Zen'in clan and all, but this is a little much of you asked me. Father told me how they treated him… it angers me since if your brother had been one of them… they wouldn't respect him… he's so strong by the way…"
Mochi nodded to this. Rook has come a long way, but also, so has Shin. "Shin has gotten powerful too, he can make hallow purple in little balls so he can launch them! Dad had to take time to gather the energy together… Shin does so instantly."
He nodded to that too. "I think it's because of your Oji. Isn't it?"
She nodded to that instantly. "He's taught us well, he also pushed us in the right direction too, he was never subtle when he does such a thing, it's rather blunt, at the same time, sometimes one has to be blunt, a simple nudge won't do… it doesn't help that we have Gojo blood in us so that maybe why…" she said offhandedly.
Hoshi laughed aloud and nodded.
Just as his phone went off.
"Hello?" He paused oddly, Mochi did too as Hoshi appeared surprised. "Okay, thanks for letting me know… I have a guest room… I promise… dude, I don't want you to kick my ass later for this… okay… yes… YEAH! OKAY!... bye…" he hung up but sighed.
"Everything okay?"
"That was Rook." He explained. "He sent you a text message, and apparently you wrote back, you always leave your phone at home don't you?"
She suddenly patted down her pockets. "Oh damn it! I left it at your kitchen table… NAOYA!" she realized what had happened.
"At the same time, Rook knew instantly. Your reply wasn't your usual one. However, he is warning you… don't go home tonight unless you want to be traumatized."
She paused to this. "Is he serious? Mom, dad and pops… okay then…" she sighed. "Oji is going to have a full house as it is."
"I got a guest room, which is also part of the reason why Rook was threatening me… no funny business until there's a ring on it… I don't want to anger your brother." He said in a sincere tone.
"Despite the fact that you're a dragon?" she whispered. After all, they are in public.
He nodded seriously to it. "In fact, ALL of us feel that way about Rook. He did something that shouldn't have been done. He punched your father and made him bleed… a dragon shouldn't bleed when punched by a mortal…"
"No wonder Oji was so excited to train with him again…" she muttered.
"According to mom, a dragon fears nothing. However, if one is harmed in such a way and all know… all come to fear what has harmed the dragon. Rook may not be able to do this again, but the fact he did so once is enough of a warning to others." He explained.
Rook luckily doesn't go showing off his strength for the hell of it. At the same time, the one who is keeping him grounded the most oddly enough… is Oji.
"I hope my brother is going to be okay… he has tendencies to lose himself in battle…"
Hoshi nodded. "It can be a hard thing to do… I know where he is coming from too. When I was taking on that sorcerer that attacked our school… I nearly couldn't control my power… had I lost it, I would have take out the whole top floor… it's why they got away… I just…"
"You knew better, and I am so grateful you did. Lives were lost but many more could have been if we did something beyond our capabilities. I would have been in the same position as you with my fire shikigami."
They changed the subject shortly after, they just arrived at the market. It was time to hunt for ingredients!
