Author's note: Welcome back for more "Spider-Man and The Incredibles"
Before we begin, I'd like to apologize for the longest wait for everything and the crazy weekend the site had, but I'm taking a long relaxing break like all the other authors and I'm busy rough drafting the story on notebook first and then I'll do the final draft (courtesy of Grammarly sometimes), just like on my other stories in the future.
Regardless, I don't want to plan on uploading my current and future stories elsewhere in case this happened again, so NO questions and/or comments regarding my plans and what happened to the site. You can ONLY comment on the story and my other stories, please.
Anyway, for the update of this story - Just like how the designation Earth/Universe number for "Incredible Heroes" by WhatIfUniverse is EARTH-200, the designated Earth/Universe number for this crossover fanfic by yours truly is...EARTH-A113 (Because of the main three Pixar easter eggs)!
More crazy surprises will be coming soon in the next chapter or two, so enjoy this chapter that features and unites a smorgasbord (a wide variety) of young aspiring Marvel heroes you're familiar with that are about to be the next generation of younger Supers in this universe alongside Peter and the Parr kids.
Any and all comments (on the story) are welcome.
After a mission well done with the runaway train, Peter and Helen got themselves a hotel room for the night.
"What a day," Peter said as he relaxed on the bed. "Now we have two new supervillains on our tail! I don't need this headache… Of all the big-time cities in all the countries in all the continents in all the worlds, they had to pick my old hometown, my birthplace."
Just then, a TV News anchor appeared on the screen. "Elastigirl and Spider-Man pursued the train and successfully activated the Hovertrain's braking system, stopping the train and saving hundreds of lives. Fans and critics alike praised their heroic efforts."
I wonder how things have changed since I've been back, Peter thought as he looked at the view of New Urbem from the window.
Just then, Helen appeared in front of Peter, startling him. "Is something wrong with you?"
Peter didn't want Helen to worry. "I'm fine. I don't want to talk about it. It's just… I don't want to mess this up."
"You're doing great," Helen replied. "It's been a long day for us. And if you ask me, that Mysterio guy was being all alien. And I thought I'd seen everything."
"Well, if he thinks my fate will be sealed in my old hometown, he's got another thing coming!" Peter said, feeling a bit better. "Thanks, E.G."
"E.G.?" Helen repeated.
"It's short for Elastigirl, right?"
Moments later, Helen called Bob and Aunt May on the hotel room's phone.
"Hello?" Bob's voice appeared on the phone.
"Hi, honey," Helen replied through the phone. "You weren't gonna call me?"
"Oh no. I mean, yes, yeah… I just didn't wanna wake you."
Just then, Peter's phone rang, and he picked it up. "Hello?"
"Hey, Peter," Violet's voice appeared.
"Violet! What's up?"
"Oh, nothing much. Just Dad catching up on the life of a single parent."
"Well, I just wanted to check on you, Dash, and Jack-Jack."
"We're fine," Violet replied. "Just saw you on the news today, saving the train. You were amazing."
Peter began to blush. "Thanks."
"Sounds like I just woke you up," Helen said, talking to Bob.
"No, no," Bob tried to say something. "It's just, Jack-Jack-"
"-had an accident!" Helen interrupted. "I knew it! I'm coming home right now! I never should have—"
"No!" Aunt May spoke up on the phone. "No, no! There was no accident. Just stay there and finish your mission. What? You don't think Bob and I can do this?"
"No, no. Sorry, I'm sorry," Helen apologized, taking a deep breath. "I misspoke. Do you need me to come back?"
"No, no, no," Aunt May said. "No, Bob and I got this. Everything's under control."
"So… What happened with Jack-Jack?" Helen asked.
"Nothing," Bob answered. "Jack-Jack's in excellent health."
"Well, that's good. How was Violet?"
"Uh..." Bob stalled as he and Aunt May watched Violet talking to Peter on her phone, doing the 'You hang up. No, you hang up' scenario.
"No, you hang up," Violet said to Peter, playfully.
"No, you hang up," Peter replied.
"No, you hang up."
"No, you hang up."
"No, seriously, Mom and Dad are listening. Hang up," Violet laughed.
"You know what? Don't answer that," Helen said, noticing Peter playing the scenario. "Jack-Jack went down with no trouble?"
"Yes, no trouble," Aunt May said.
"And Dash got his homework done?
"All done," Bob lied.
"So, things haven't spiraled out of control since Peter and I left?"
"Well, amazing as it may seem," Bob said. "it's been quite uneventful."
"Anyway, how's Peter?" Aunt May asked.
"Peter's fine," Helen answered, seeing him asleep fast. "Been through worse, but's he fine."
"Thanks," Aunt May sighed with relief. "How about you?"
"Well, on a better note, I SAVED A RUNAWAY TRAIN! I mean, we saved a runaway train."
"That's fantastic, honey!" Bob said, trying to put on a proud face. "And on your first night! I am so proud of you, really."
But Aunt May can see Bob was jealous as every station reported on Elastigirl and Spider-Man's heroics.
"And I'm proud of you, honey," Helen said. "I know you want to get out there, and you will soon. And you'll be fantastic. I couldn't have done this if you hadn't taken over so well. Thanks for handling everything."
"It's nothing," Bob sighed.
"I love you, honey. I'll be back soon. Sweet dreams."
"Sweet dreams, honey."
After Bob and Helen said good night and the two hung up the phones, he and Aunt May slopped down on the couch.
"Not going well," Aunt May said to Bob.
"What am I? A substitute parent?" Bob replied. "It's not my fault they changed math."
"I haven't done this in a while," Elastigirl said since her last interview.
"This is good. The train gives us momentum," Winston replied, trying to boost confidence. "Just go out there, be your charming selves... and capitalize on it."
Elastigirl, Spider-Man, and the Deavors were at the KQRY TV studio for a live interview with famous anchorman Chad Brently. They're now sitting in the green room just as a stagehand appears.
"Ms. Elastigirl, Mr. Spider-Man, they're ready for you," The stagehand said as she led the two Supers toward the set.
"I'm ready for my close-up," Spider-Man joked. "And ready to prove J.J. Jameson wrong!"
"You just couldn't help yourself, could you?" Elastigirl asked with a smirk. Then, she turned to see the Ambassador. "Oh, Madame Ambassador, hello!"
"Oh, you are Elastigirl! This is why now I'm shaking your hand," The ambassador said, shaking Elastigirl's hand. "It was so sad when you went underground. I am glad to see you back in your shiny outfit."
"That means so much coming from you," Elastigirl replied. "Good luck with your speech. Bring lasting peace!"
"I will when you defeat evil."
Moments later, Elastigirl and Spider-Man sat down with Chad Brently on the set as the anchorman introduced them.
"For over 15 years, superheroes have been in hiding, forced into it by a society no longer willing to support them. That may soon change due to a growing movement to bring the Supers back. Here, fresh on the heels of their own heroic save of a runaway train and sporting new looks, are superheroes Elastigirl and Spider-Man. Welcome!"
"Hi," Spider-Man said, waving hello nervously.
"Hello, Chad," Elastigirl greeted.
"All the polls are going in your direction," said Chad.
"That's true. Things are good, and—"
"Hello," Chad interrupted as his eyes went…blank.
"Um…hello," Spider-Man said in confusion.
"Do I have your attention?"
"Yes, Chad."
"Of course I do. I'm appearing on your screen. Reading the words I'm saying off of another screen. Screens are everywhere. We are controlled by screens."
As Brently spoke mechanically, Elastigirl and Spider-Man followed his gaze. Now they can see why - the teleprompter was full of hypnotic light patterns, as were all the screens and cameras, while everyone in the studio and the control room was under a trance.
And to make matters worse, someone was speaking through Brently. "And screens are controlled by me - Screenslaver."
"Don't look at any monitors!" Spider-Man yelled, covering and averting his eyes.
"I control this broadcast and this idiotic anchorman you see before you," Screenslaver continued speaking through Chad Brently as Elastigirl tried to slap the anchorman out of its hypnotic trance. "I could hijack the ambassador's plane while it's still airborne. Or maybe…cast an illusion on your little spider friend, too. Right, Elastigirl?"
Spider-Man's eyes grew wide. "Mysterio's here, too?!"
"Nearest window!" Elastigirl shouted as she and Spider-Man sprinted off the set. "Where's the nearest window?"
The two Supers sprang into action as Elastigirl saw three helicopters flying in formation, and Spider-Man saw green smoke coming from one of the buildings. While Elastigirl swings across the city to save the ambassador, Spider-Man finds himself face-to-face with Mysterio.
"What's going on, Mysterio?" Spider-Man asked. "Why are you teaming up with someone like Screenslaver? Why are you planning to invade New Urbem with him? What's your deal!?"
But Mysterio didn't answer. "Silence! There's no need for you to know!"
"Is it that weird helmet that's to blame for your curtness? If so, maybe I might take it off and ask you again!"
Spider-Man was about to tackle Mysterio, but it was actually…
"A hologram!? Why am I not surprised?"
"I need not soil my hands with a pathetic earthling like you," Mysterio spoke once more. "You will have no chance to survive. Come to our shared hidden fortress. There, we will defeat you and Elastigirl once and for all!"
And like that, Mysterio disappeared.
"Hidden fortress?" Spider-Man repeated as he sighed. "Give me a break. I think he watched way too much TV." Then, he quickly remembered something. "Oh, right. The ambassador!"
Spider-Man arrived on the ambassador's helicopter, only to find the ambassador safe while Elastigirl struggling to gain control. "We're too low to parachute!"
"Then, we're gonna have to slingshot!" Elastigirl replied as she quickly grabbed both Spider-Man and the ambassador. "Hang on!"
Elastigirl, Spider-Man, and the ambassador made it out of the helicopter, and they all landed safely on the ground, courtesy of Elastigirl turning into a parachute.
"Are you all right, ma'am?" Elastigirl asked.
"I'm perfectly fine..." The ambassador said before she fainted.
After saving the ambassador the following day, Elastigirl and Spider-Man were already in Winston's office at DevTech, only to find Evelyn sitting while Winston was busy getting calls.
"Ellenwood. Oh, now you wanna return my calls about superheroes, huh? Oh. I'll have to call you back."
Spider-Man cleared his throat to get Winston's attention. "So, how did it go?"
"How did it go?" Winston repeated as he said happily, "It's working! That's how it goes! The ambassador made a big speech about superheroes today. It turns out that saving someone's life makes a good impression on them. Who knew, huh? I'm getting calls from all over the world. Media awareness is up 72%. The push for superhero legalization is becoming a worldwide movement!"
"That's great!" Spider-Man said. "What's next?"
"Well, I'm glad you asked because I have big plans for our next move. We're gonna have a summit at sea. We'll use our ship, the Everjust. We'll gather leaders and Supers from all over the world…"
"Including Wakanda?"
"I'm not sure if they'll respond, but…sure!"
Spider-Man was glad things were going well as he tried to contain his excitement, but something was bothering Elastigirl.
"That's great," Elastigirl said, sounding a bit glum. "I'm happy. I'm happy the numbers are up. I'm happy the ambassador is pro-superhero... and I'm happy you're happy."
"I'm hearing that you're happy," Winston began to ask. "But why am I not feeling it?"
Spider-Man already knew the answer. "Because we didn't get them."
"Exactly!" Elastigirl said. "Mysterio and Screenslaver are still out there. All we did was play their game and win this round. They're gonna want more, and as long as they get to play, they win."
"Do you know the one thing I've learned in business? Smell the flowers," Winston replied. "They don't bloom very often. I mean, what do you want to put on your tombstone? 'She worried a lot'?"
"No," Spider-Man shook his head while hiding his chuckle. Then, he looked around. "Where's Mr. Stark?"
"He had other business stuff going on."
"All right, enough talk," Evelyn said to Winston, who nodded. "Show them."
"Show us what?" Spider-Man asked as he and Elastigirl looked at each other in confusion.
Winston led Elastigirl to a room full of Supers that she never recognized before. They hid until Elastigirl inspired them to come out of the shadows.
When the wannabe Supers saw Elastigirl, they were surprised as one Super, Voyd, approached her excitedly and introduced herself.
"Hi, my superhero name is Voyd," Voyd said. "I just wanna thank you for, like, for being you! Okay, what I can do, um, is this." She then grabbed a mug and threw it into the air, demonstrating that she had the power to make portals.
"That is impressive," Elastigirl said. "Very interdimensional."
"I felt like an outcast before," Voyd replied. "But now, with you being you, I feel like..." Then, she went and hugged Elastigirl. "Yay, me."
"I flew them in from all over," Winston said, with Evelyn joining him. "They've all been in hiding. They have powers, secret identities, and… names they've given themselves."
Another Super named Screech, who resembled an owl, shook Elastigirl's hand. "I'm Screech. It's a pleasure. I've always considered you the golden standard for superheroes."
"Well, thanks," Elastigirl said. "You're too nice."
There were other Supers that Elastigirl meets as well - The high-voltage He-lectrix, the super-strong Krushauer, the powerhouse from Wisconsin named Brick, and the elderly Super named Reflux, whose medical condition is spewing hot lava.
Elastigirl appreciated the attention of these people she made quite a good impact on. However, her mind was still on catching the Screenslaver and Mysterio.
Meanwhile, Spider-Man experiences the same results as he is led to another room. As he did, Peter's eyes grew wide in amazement as the room was full of young Supers about his age.
The younger Supers turned to see Spider-Man in surprise and amazement as one Super, a Muslim teen girl with dark-brown hair wearing her blue and red costume with a golden lightning bolt on it and a scarf, rushed up to him.
"Oh, wow!" The Muslim girl spoke up, seeing Spider-Man in person. "Spider-Man! It's really you!"
"Hello," Spider-Man greeted. "Yes, I am. And you are…?"
"I'm Kamala Khan, but my superhero name is Ms. Marvel."
"Marvel?" Spider-Man repeated. "Like Captain Marvel?"
"Oh no, Captain Marvel's my all-time favorite Super. What I can do is this…"
Ms. Marvel demonstrates that she can stretch her body into any shape or size with her "embiggening" powers by expanding her hand bigger.
"You have stretching powers? Like Elastigirl?" Spider-Man said in surprise. "No way…!"
"Well, that's Double-M for 'ya!" A voice appeared behind Spider-Man, who turned to see a peppy and hyperactive girl with orange-red hair and squirrel ears wearing a green jacket, brown clothes, and brown boots. She also had a big, bushy, 3-foot-long, semi-prehensive tail of a squirrel.
Suddenly, Spider-Man noticed a cute little squirrel on the girl's shoulder and screamed. "Aaahh, there's a squirrel on your shoulder! Get it off, get it off!"
"Don't worry, it's just Tippy-Toe," The peppy girl reassured. "And I'm Doreen Green, the unbeatable Squirrel Girl."
"Squirrel Girl? I'm guessing you can talk to squirrels?"
"Since I was ten! Also, I'm a human mutate with the traits of one."
"Yeah, I can see that."
"That's right. Feel the awesomeness of Ms. Marvel, Tippy Toe, and Squirrel Girl! B-F-H-S! Best Friend Heroes Forever!"
"Okay, got it," Spider-Man said awkwardly as he then turned to see more younger Supers all over the room.
"Name's Dante. Dante Pertuz," A handsome teen boy with brown hair introduced himself with the power of pyrokinesis. "But you can call me Inferno."
"Nice to meet you, Inferno," Spider-Man replied. "I assume your powers are flames and hot fire."
"Speaking of hot," Squirrel Girl whispered to Spider-Man. "Ms. Marvel has a crush on Dante."
"Sh-Shut up," Ms. Marvel said as she playfully hit Squirrel Girl. "You're the one who was going on about how Rayshaun is cute as a bag of hazelnuts."
Squirrel Girl pouted while blushing as well.
"Uhhh, who's Rayshaun?" Spider-Man asked.
"That would be me," A voice appeared, revealing a young black man from Brooklyn wielding a defensive triangle-shaped shield made by S.H.I.E.L.D. while wearing a white, blue, and red suit that resembled Captain America. "Rayshaun Lucus, but my superhero name is Patriot."
"And what do you do, Patriot?" Spider-Man asked while shaking Patriot's hand.
"I was trained by Captain America," Patroit replied. But as he looked at Spider-Man, something hit him. "Wait a sec… You're the new Super who was with Captain America when the city was attacked by that giant robot."
Squirrel Girl was surprised. "Whoa, WHAT?! That's the guy who was with the Avengers on the news about the Omnidroid!?"
"Yes, I am," Spider-Man said. "But wait, how did you know that?"
"Daisy told me," Patriot answered.
"Daisy? As in Daisy Johnson from S.H.I.E.L.D.?!"
As if on cue, Daisy appeared right before a surprised Spider-Man. Behind her were a giant teleporting mutt and a strong, independent, dark-skinned young Latin-American teen with black hair wearing a red, white, blue shirt, a jean jacket, and pants.
"Long time no see," Daisy Johnson said, crossing her arms.
"No way!" Squirrel Girl gasped, looking back and forth between Spider-Man and Daisy. "You two met before? Double wait! Are you telling me that Spider-Man was involved in that huge case about the missing Supers?"
"And helped save the city from that giant Omnidroid," Spider-Man added. "Which I don't mean to brag, by the way." He then turned to see the Latin girl and the giant dog. "Who are these two?"
"I'm America Chavez," The young Latin-American teen introduced herself and the giant mutt. "And this is Lockjaw."
"He's our teleporting dog," Ms. Marvel added while Lockjaw barked. "And a very, very good boy. Plus, he's an Inhuman, like me."
"And me," Dante said, pointing at himself.
"And me," Daisy added, raising her hand.
Spider-Man was shocked. "Daisy Johnson's an Inhuman?!"
"Yep," Daisy nodded. "I can create actual earthquakes…with gauntlets that help me focus my powers. So, yeah, they make me shake."
"No way! And I thought you were just a normal S.H.I.E.L.D. agent all this time."
Daisy smirked. "What, you think I couldn't handle a second job? Call me by my superhero name, Quake."
America Chavez stepped in. "And I'm not from around here. I'm from another planet. I sometimes worked at an auto garage."
"And she can ride an awesome motorcycle and throw powerful punches that shape like stars!" Ms. Marvel added. "Stars are kinda her thing."
Just then, a blue-colored teen boy appeared out of nowhere in a puff of purple smoke. He had yellowish-white eyes, pointy ears, fangs, and the prehensile tail of a demon while wearing laid black and red clothing.
"Ah, so you're the Super who saved Wolverine from that island," The blue-colored ten spoke up in a German accent.
"And who are you?" Spider-Man asked.
"Apologies. I am Kurt Wagner, but you can call me Nightcrawler of the X-Men."
"The X-Men!?" Spider-Man repeated. "As in the team of mutants."
"Genau," Nightcrawler nodded. "I have the mutation ability of teleportation." He then introduced the other mutants to him.
"I'm Wiccan," the boy with a headband and a strange red cloak said. He then introduced another boy wearing a green skintight suit. "And this is my brother, Speed."
"Wiccan and Speed," Spider-Man repeated as he looked at the siblings. "And what are your powers?"
"We're the Scarlet Witch's kids," Speed replied. "I do super speed while Wiccan can warp reality at will."
"Scarlet Witch's kids? Warp reality?" Spider-Man repeated in surprise. "Remind me not to tick you off, please?"
"Sure thing," Wiccan smiled. "But don't worry, I'm nothing like my mother."
Spider-Man then finds himself surrounded by three identical blonde teen girls. "Triplets!"
"I'm Phoebe," The blonde girl in the middle introduced herself.
"I'm Celeste," The blonde girl on the left said.
"And I'm Irma," The blonde girl on the right spoke up.
"And we're the Stepford Cuckoos," The triplets chorused.
"Hi, Stepford Cuckoos," Spider-Man said, then he turned to Nightcrawler. "How can I tell them apart?"
"They have a telepathic hive mind," Nightcrawler replied. "They can read minds and project them into being."
"Wow, okay," Spider-Man nodded.
Spider-Man turned to see three other girls – one was a Brazilian girl about to change from her human form to lava form, the other was Japanese with electric blue hair and gauntlets to absorb electricity, and the third was about Dash's age with two indestructible adamantium claws in both hands and one in each foot.
"Hola, I'm Amara Aquilla," The Brazilian girl introduced herself to Spider-Man. "But my superhero name is Magma. I can control lava and magma from volcanoes and can shoot fire." She then introduced the other two girls to him. "This is Noriko Ashida, better known as Surge, for absorbing electricity. And the little one is Laura Kinney, X-23, Wolverine's…'child.'"
"So, you're related to Wolverine?" Spider-Man asked Laura, who simply nodded. "That's pretty cool."
Spider-Man turned to see a 16-year-old Mexican fused with a magical amulet who walked up to him wearing a black and green suit. "Hey there, I'm Humberto Lopez. But my superhero name is Reptil."
"And what are your superpowers?" Spider-Man asked.
"I can turn into any dinosaur with a fossilized bone amulet. It's any kid's dream, really."
Just then, a vast shadow loomed over Spider-Man and Reptil as the two looked up to see an enormous, 10-ton crimson T-rex. And on its back was a 13-year-old girl wearing roller skating-inspired gear.
The girl climbed down the T-rex and introduced herself and the dino to Spider-Man. "I'm Lunella Lafayette, but you can call me Moon Girl. And this is my partner, Devil Dinosaur."
"Your partner's a real-life dinosaur?!" Spider-Man gasped in surprise. "Like, an actual real-life dinosaur?!"
"Yeah, I'm also the smartest girl in the room, next to these two." Moon Girl pointed to two teenage girls right beside her.
"I'm Nadia Van Dyne," The first girl with brown hair said, wearing her black and red Wasp suit and functional bio-synthetic wings. "But you can call me…the Unstoppable Wasp."
"And I'm Riri Willams," the second girl introduced herself, revealing herself as a 15-year-old genius wearing a revised suit of armor similar to Iron Man. "Call me Ironheart."
Spider-Man then turned to see a 16-year-old Hispanic wearing a black space suit with golden buttons and a helmet that grants him super strength, flight, telekinesis, force fields, and the ability to breathe underwater…and outer space.
"I'm Samuel Alexander," The Hispanic said. "But I'm better known as Nova."
"Nice to meet you, Nova," Spider-Man said, shaking Nova's hand.
A strange feeling welled inside Spider-Man, one that he'd never felt before. All his life, he'd been surrounded by average citizens. He'd battled alongside a family of Supers and some surviving ones and former ones. He'd battled robbers, giant robots, and a crazy-haired nerdy supervillain. And as always, he'd been the only new younger Super in sight…or so he thought.
For the first time in his life, Spider-Man fits in with all the younger Supers here, who he inspired to come out of hiding. Such a magnificent impact.
But then, something strange happened. Spider-Man thought he heard a voice calling him. "Peter?"
Spider-Man turned to see three people about his age…wearing costumes that were similar to his own.
The first one was a young black-Hispanic descent wearing a black and red costume with a spider insignia across the chest, a V-shape stretching from the groin up to the shoulders, and a full mask covering his whole face.
The second was a 15-year-old girl with fair skin, blue eyes, and blonde hair with bangs dyed pink at the end, wearing a black bodysuit with white areas forming a spider design, a white hood with magenta interior and cyan web patterns, along with a hooded mask with cyan lenses outlined in magenta, matching the magenta-and-cyan designs on her upper arms, and cyan soles to her boots.
The third was a Latina teenage girl with brown hair in a ponytail and hazel eyes wearing a white spandex costume with a black spider symbol connecting from the shoulder down and a cowl mask, just like Spider-Man's.
"Is it really you?" The blonde girl asked with a rush of joy.
"Who are you?" Spider-Man asked.
"It's me, Gwen Stacy," The blonde girl answered. "Miles Morales is here, too."
Spider-Man took off his cowl mask to look at the two friends who were beaming at him. "Miles? Gwen?"
Miles and Gwen smiled, and then they both nodded.
The confusion on Peter's face changed to amazement and happiness as his eyes lit up. "Oh my gosh, it IS you!"
"Well, don't just stand there! Give your old friend a hug!" Gwen cried.
Peter ran forward and threw himself into Gwen's and Miles's arms, squeezing them in a big hug. "I can't believe you're here! You look great!"
"As are you!" Miles said. "It's just so good to see you. I thought we'd never see you again!"
The other younger Supers watched in surprise.
"What is happening?" Squirrel Girl asked as Tippy-Toe shrugged.
"It's some kind of…spidey reunion," Ms. Marvel answered.
Peter continued talking to his old friends. "I can't believe it. After all these few years and months, you're really here! This is amazing!" He then turned to the third person with them. "And who's this?"
"I'm Anya Corazon," The Latina girl introduced herself. "Miles and Gwen told me all about you."
Peter pointed at Anya. "You… Come here!" He then hugged Anya. "Thank you for taking such good care of my friends!"
"You're welcome," Anya said.
"How did you guys know where I was?"
"We received a little invitation from DevTech," Gwen replied. "After we got spider powers way, way back."
"You all got spider powers?!" Peter asked in surprise. "Wait… You three all got spider powers?! Since when?"
"After you left," Gwen answered. "I mean, you didn't write back or even call."
"I know, and I'm sorry. I was busy with Municiberg."
"Look, what really matters is you're here, Peter," Miles said. "And now we're all Spideys!"
"Get out of my head, Miles! I was thinkin' the same thing!" Peter said as he couldn't help but geek out over his friends who had spider powers during his absence. "How does it feel to have spider powers like me? Do the spider senses tingle? Does it feel radioactive? Does it feel like you can swing and wall crawl? Does it feel like you have the speed, the agility…and emerge unscathed?"
Miles nodded. "Yeah, it's pretty cool. Except for me, because I was bitten by a genetically modified spider."
"Wait, really?!"
"I can turn invisible and have electric powers called Venom Blast."
Peter gasped. "Superpowers that even I don't have. We have a lot to talk about. By the way, what have you called yourselves?"
"Kid Arachnid," Miles said.
"Ghost Spider," Gwen answered.
"And Spider-Girl," Anya responded.
Just then, Elastigirl burst in through a crowd of younger Supers. "Spider-Man!"
Spider-Man turned to see Elastigirl in surprise. "What is it?"
"I know how to get both Mysterio and Screenslaver!"
