FILE 8 - The Hunter's Past, Part 5
Previously on FILE 7, the battle with the 'demon' has led to Kuro and Tetsu meeting up with Furui Ryushi, but it all turned south when Furui suddenly attacked Tetsu.
8:22 PM, Jamiroquai Street
"HELP ME OVER HERE!" Tetsu yelled out for Kuro's help, as her Stand is rapidly throwing out a flurry of punches to deflect Furui's barrage of slashes "BIRIRIRIRIRIRI!"
"Ah!" Kuro snapped back to his senses, as he sent out his shadowy strings to try and control Furui, but it proved effortless.
"Hey!" Tetsu spoke up while struggling to hold against Furui's onslaught of barrage "What happened?!"
"Sh#t!" Kuro explained. "My Stand can only control 'non-living beings'!"
"YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME LONG AGO!" Filled with anger, Tetsu's Stand, Iron Maiden launched a powerful punch toward Furui, sending him back.
"Now then…" Kuro, noticing Furui is down, decided to use his Stand to take off the piece of shard from Furui's back.
Amidst the chaos, Furui swiftly dodged every string that came toward him but was stomped down by Iron Maiden.
The successful stomp led to Kuro finally extracting the shard from Furui.
"Ugh.." Furui stood up, his eyes returned to normal. "What happened…?"
"WATCH OUT!" Without hesitation, Iron Maiden blocked a swing from the 'demon''s sword. The clash sent chills down to Furui and Kuro.
"Woah…" Both looked in awe at the clash.
"COME ON! STOP STANDING THERE!" Iron Maiden deflected the slash as it kicked the 'demon' further.
As the battle was getting more intense, it was cut short. The beam of light on top of the school disappeared at 8:24 PM.
The 'demon' also disappeared.
Tetsu, exhausted from having to do most of the fight, crumbled.
"MASTER!" Kuro came to her aid, checking for her pulses and such. "Master…"
Furui's phone rang. He took it out and heard some exciting news. Mushi had survived the wound, but it still left a deep wound within him.
"And oh yeah… He told me to tell you to change your Stand's name." Fumiko on the other line said to Furui "But I do like it honestly…"
Furui chuckled a bit, then looked back at Kuro and Tetsu.
"Is she okay?!" Furui ran toward Kuro, as he did, her eyes finally opened.
"Master!" Kuro excitedly cried out.
"Ugh…" Tetsu looked up to Kuro. "At least call me by my name…"
"I'm sorry…" Kuro said, with a somber tone. "...Tetsu."
"F$$ finally…" Tetsu then closed her eyes, assumingly tired.
"Sorry for the bother…" Furui reached out to Kuro. "I didn't expect anyone else to be here…"
"Oh, don't worry." Kuro remarked with a smile. "At least I now know that she can fight."
"What's your name?" Kuro asked Furui.
"Oh, my name is…" Furui answered back hesitantly. "Furui Ryushi."
"Lobo Ryushi's brother I assume?" Kuro continued to ask him. "How is he nowadays?"
"Yeah…" Furui scratched his head, as he tried to find a way to explain it. "Let's just say he's getting a bit better… after what happened this morning…"
"My condolences." Kuro then picked up a tired Tetsu within his arms and bid farewell to Furui.
Present, 12:40 PM, Blackpink Ice Cream Store
"And it was all thanks to me," Furui tried to remark, puffing out his chest, but Kuro quickly cut him off.
"You mean maste-" Kuro began, but under Tetsu's sharp glare, he quickly corrected himself, "mas-Tetsu! Yeah! Tetsu did more work."
Lobo chuckled, shaking his head. "Man, she sure has you, huh?"
Aiya's expression grew thoughtful, her voice lowering as she asked, "I still wonder… what was that 'demon's' ability?"
"It was-" Kuro tried to speak up, but then Tetsu interrupted him. "Shards of rage. Well, whatever you can call it."
"Master." Kuro sighed. "You know you shouldn't interrupt-"
Before Kuro could finish, Tetsu held up her phone. The screen was the info for Kuro's servant service. She threatened to cut his check. "Or else?"
"Never mind." Kuro complied with her threat as he sighed again.
"But anyway," Tetsu spoke up while still typing on her phone. "That 'demon' or whatever you called it has these shards that can afflict 'anger' upon someone. Like it did on a specific person that I would not like to mention the name of." She glared at Furui.
"It was an accident!" Furui replied.
"It sure does seem like a dangerous Stand…" Aiya remarked on the 'demon' ability.
"Kuro, you said that Stand is a reflection of their user's psyche, right?" Tetsu looked at Kuro "I don't know what psyche means but it must mean inner mind or some sh#t like that."
"Yes, mast- I mean Tetsu," Kuro replied, only to quickly correct himself. "Stand manifests as a reflection of their user's emotion."
"Would it be crazy if…" Tetsu paused for dramatic effect "Drumroll please…"
"Uh… Tetsu, we don't have drums here…" Furui said to Tetsu in awkwardness.
"Don't be nonsense," Tetsu replied. "Anything can be used as a drum," She said as she slammed the table repeatedly.
Furui sighed. "And that is gonna cost me some paycheck."
"What if…" Tetsu revealed her thoughts "One of our teachers was the Stand User?"
"I mean, that is plausible…" Furui scratched his head. "We have the best suspect for it anyway."
"Are you talking about 'him'?" Lobo looked at Furui with concern.
"Yep." Furui replied with a somber tone.
"Who?" Aiya asked Furui and Lobo.
"Mr. Aku." Furui sighed. "He has a habit of lashing out at students, even for the smallest mistakes."
"We must not jump to conclusions." Kuro, being the calm one, tried to reason with the group about the theory. "What we should focus on right now is the light… Yes?"
"I mean…" Aiya hesitantly responded, "We don't know what exactly caused it, and we don't have any clues regarding it."
The room fell silent. They knew that there was something big connecting the 'demon' with Mr. Aku, but they did not have enough proof to jump to conclusion.
"I guess, we can do some sort of 'investigation', yes?" Furui said.
"Hmmm… Only Stand Users." Kuro said, "If we let non-Stand people into this, it'll just bring danger."
"Aiya, besides Finn, who else do we have in our class?" Lobo asked Aiya.
"Lobo, how am I supposed to know?!" Aiya retorted. "I legit have been here today. I haven't even met anyone besides you and Finn."
"Wait… Please don't tell me…" Aiya sighed "You want me to make up with him to join the investigation?"
"I think only me and Kuro are the stand users in our class." Tetsu scratched her head, trying to think of all her classmates. "But, I think I can recruit one."
"So the goal is to get as many Stand users as possible and get to the bottom of this," Furui declared, extending his hand. "Who's with me?"
Kuro was the first to swiftly place his hand on top of him. "I'm in. For Tetsu and everyone's safety."
Aiya joined in second, her hand placed on top of Kuro "As long as it means everyone can be safe. It's for everyone's sake."
Lobo hesitantly put his on Aiya's hand. "Sure… But don't count on me too much."
Tetsu, looking at the group's determination, decided to drop her stern attitude a bit and joined in. She sighed as she said, "Okay fine. Just for everyone's sake, yadi yada. Just remember to not slack off."
13:00 PM
Everyone inside the ice cream store went on their path after a few minutes of talking.
Kuro and Tetsu went home to focus on their homework.
Furui went home with Lobo after his shift ended, and seemingly went on a date with Fumiko.
Aiya went home, all tired from all that happened today.
As she opened the door, her dad's voice could be heard.
"How was school today dear?" He asked, "Did you make any new friends?"
"Yeah, it was… great, dad." Aiya replied.
The day went by like a blur. Aiya did all of her homework and cooked dinner for herself and her dad.
It was now 20:00, and Aiya, dressed in her fluffy pajamas, flopped onto her bed with an exaggerated sigh. She grabbed her phone and started scrolling through social media.
"Hmm?" She muttered, pausing at an intriguing post on Facebook. "I hate her!" it read, the post showed a photo of Aiya holding hands with Lobo. Her eyes rolled as she muttered, "Jealous much?"
Ignoring the jealous post, she continued scrolling until she saw a post regarding a missing kitten. "Aww, poor kitty," She tapped the post and sent a private message to the person to offer her help. "It looks so cute too!"
However, her kind-hearted decision has reeled her into a bizarre circumstance soon.
Aiya kept scrolling, laughing at memes and funny videos. Eventually, her eyelids grew heavy, and she decided it was time to sleep. She snuggled into her bed, the cozy blankets enveloping her like a warm hug.
As she drifted off, memories of her old hometown surfaced, bringing a nostalgic smile to her face. She dreamed of being with her mother, feeling her gentle arms around her once again. In her dream, she and her mom were riding a giant fluffy cat through a field of marshmallows, laughing and enjoying the whimsical journey.
Aiya's peaceful slumber was filled with the silly, heartwarming dreams that only a good night's rest could bring, leaving her blissfully unaware of the bizarreness awaiting her in the city of Jamiroquai.
Stand Info:

『Stand User』- ?
Ability - Its shards on the body can cause rage within a person once embedded into their skin. It doesn't seem to affect Stands. It can also form blades using the shards.
