Roman gritted his teeth and tried to hold his anger in. He had undertaker on speaker and Zayna was listening in on the call. They had waited until next day where they were back at his place before calling Undertaker to tell him to back off.
"She's my daughter!" Undertaker yelled.
"I know that but you don't get to decide what she does," Roman said.
"Yes, I do," Undertaker said.
Roman looked over at Zayna and shook his head no. There was no reaching Undertaker in his anger. He was so used to people doing what he wanted that he didn't think it would be any different this time around.
"She doesn't want anything to do with you until you get therapy and work on your anger," Roman said.
"Fuck off!" Undertaker snarled.
"So be it," Roman said. "She already blocked you, Taker, and I'll do the name."
"I'll sue you," Undertaker threatened.
"For what?" Roman asked.
"For keeping my daughter from me," Undertaker said.
"She's a 34 year old woman. Good luck getting any attorney to take that case," Roman said. "Goodbye, Taker."
"Don't you dare hang up on..." Undertaker started.
Roman hung up before Undertaker finished the sentence. He blocked Undertaker's number and looked over at Zayna.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"I am," she nodded. "Are you okay?"
"I'm okay," he said.
His phone started ringing and he bared his teeth at the number on the screen. He hit the red button to decline the call.
"Kane," he said.
"The red demon idiot?" She asked.
"The one and only," he said. "And he's blocked too. Expect more phone calls for a while until we've blocked them all. They'll all start calling you too so don't answer any calls you don't know.
"Aye aye captain," she said.
He chuckled and pulled her into his arms. He held on to her for a while and she relaxed in his embrace. He kissed the top of her head and released her from the hug.
"If I were to do it," she started.
"Do what?" He asked.
"Start a ring gear business," she said.
"I'm listening," he grinned.
"Wipe that smile off your face," she chuckled. "If I were to do it, how would I even go about getting it done?"
"You could rent a shop downtown or we could transform some of the rooms here into a place for you to work," he said.
She looked surprised at him and his smile grew again.
"You would do that for me?" She asked.
"You more or less live here anyway," he said.
"I've only been here two weeks," she said.
"So?" He shrugged. "I bought a house way too big. You know I have several rooms I don't use for anything. Why not turn them into your dream? You already got clients lined up waiting to hear if they can have gear made by you thanks to Tiffany running all over the arena telling them about you. All you gotta to is take the step and we'll have it up and running in no time. I'll buy you whatever you need to get started."
Tears formed in her eyes and quickly spilled down her cheeks. She smiled through her tears and he reached his hands up to dry her cheeks with his thumbs.
"Happy tears?" He asked.
"Yes," she answered. "I wanna do this, Roman. I wanna give this a chance. I know I can run a successful business. I know I'm talented. I just needed you to remind me since my boss has been doing her best to bring me down."
"Fuck her," he said.
"Fuck her so far down into the ground that no one will ever dig her up again," she said.
He laughed and placed his hands on her shoulders.
"Before we do this, there's something I need to tell you. I can't have you stay here any longer without letting you know," he said.
She grabbed his shirt and pulled him down for a kiss.
"I'm in love with you too," she said.
"How did you know?" He asked.
"Naomi told me," she said.
"Jimmy," he said.
"Yup!" She grinned. "I've known since that day. We hadn't even made it home before he somehow had told her and she pulled me aside to tell me."
"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked.
"I needed time to figure out if I wanted to take the chance when Mark was constantly ringing in my ear," she said. "People were constantly telling me how to feel that I started questioning myself. You were my safe space but I needed to be sure about everything going on around me. I now know that I only need to be sure about us. I don't mind the future being up in the air as long as I have you to keep me grounded in reality. You never told me how I'm supposed to feel. You simply let me feel what I needed to feel," she said.
He leaned down for another kiss and held her close.
"I'm sleeping in your bed tonight," she said.
He let out a laugh before lifting her up over his shoulder and carrying her to the bedroom. She laughed all the way there. He placed her down on the floor and walked over to the big, built-in wall closet.
"Let's empty half of this for your things," he said.
"You wanna move my things in here first instead of... I don't know... Throwing me on the bed and drilling me down to the hollow earth?" She asked.
He smirked at her and walked over to her. He leaned down and kissed her neck, and felt her melt into his embrace.
"Is that what you want?" He asked.
"I want you to fuck me like there's no tomorrow," she said.
He backed her up to the bed and let himself fall down on top of her. She giggled and looked up at him with those beautiful eyes.
"Stay," he said.
"I'm not going anywhere," she said.
"No, I mean, stay here. Let's pick up all your stuff and move you in here for real," he said.
"Are you sure?" She asked.
"I've never been more sure of anything in my life," he said.
She placed her hand on his cheek and smiled at him.
"Tomorrow," she said. "Today I want to enjoy you without thinking about anything else."
He grinned at her and leaned down for another kiss. He ran his hand down her side, grabbed her thigh, and pulled her leg up against his side.
"What was it you said you wanted me to do?" He asked.
"Roman!" She panted.
"Remind me again," he teased.
"God damn you!" She laughed. "I want you to fuck me like there's no tomorrow."
"I'm gonna leave you breathless, cupcake," he smirked. "Again and again and again."
