The small government airplane landed ahead of schedule at Skelstetrop Airport in the city of Smukhagen, the capital of Greenmark. After having taxied to its gate, four men in black suits came out, clearing the arrival area of any unwanted surprises. When the coast was clear, President Thompson Owen exited the plane. The four men surrounded the muscular rhino as he traveled from the gate toward the taxi bay. A limousine stood at the ready the moment he left the airport. A fox stood waiting for him, dressed in an elegant suit. The rhino and the fox shook hands before they both climbed into the limousine. As soon as they closed the door, they were on their way. Audia and Carmonia have been in conflict for years, and so the World Nations had tasked the neutral country of Greenmark to facilitate the peace summit.

When they arrived, the human in an expensive suit opened the door for President Owen and the fox. Once they exited the limousine, the soldiers, both from the Audian and Carmonian military, stood guard and saluted them as they walked to the entrance. Once inside, they walked upstairs and entered the peace summit. There were military generals and government officials, some of them anthropomorphic animals, and some were human, with some having their Pokemon with them.

Soldiers were present to protect them from any assassins. President Owen was glad to have that much security at the summit, but he couldn't help but feel that he was being watched. He didn't know why. Perhaps he was imagining things. Or, was it some assassin hiding in the shadows? Or was it someone who watched him while he wasn't looking? With so many people present at the summit, it was really difficult to tell. The summit meeting was to begin in about a few minutes, and President Owen had not seen the King of Carmonia, Sir Aaron, present yet.

He checked his watch as he walked to the summit door. When he opened it, he was suddenly but gently grabbed and dragged inside by something. His eyes widened more when he saw that it was a mysterious figure. The figure wore a big fedora hat, along with sunglasses and a trenchcoat. He also wore leather shoes. His face and ears were completely hidden. The figure gestured for the president to be quiet.

''Three Carmonian soldiers have been watching your every move. They are up to no good.'' President Owen blinked when he heard his voice. He didn't know what to make of it. It sounded deep, and it communicated via telepathy. Owen turned around and peeked from the door and saw that three Carmonian soldiers, all of whom were anthro animals, were indeed facing and watching the door. Owen gasped and quickly ducked to avoid their detection. The figure was right.

''Well, what do you want me to do?''

''Don't worry, I have my elite agents disguised as both Audian and Carmonian soldiers and officers. They will prevent an international incident from happening, and they will help escort all of you to safety.'' President Owen nodded but wasn't quite sure if he could trust the figure. After all, he did not know who it was. Besides, being grabbed like that was similar to being kidnapped.

''Who are you?''

''I cannot say. But I can tell you that I'm a concerned Pokemon.'' Owen widened his eyes. Could it be that this Pokemon was so intelligent that it could communicate to him via telepathy? He didn't know that a Pokemon would notice the Carmonian soldiers watching him. The Pokemon must have understood the conflict between the two superpowers and wanted to prevent any causalities. The Pokemon was right. He looked at it and nodded.

''Alright, I trust you. Thank you for notifying me about this.'' The Pokemon nodded in response and released him, allowing the rhino to go back to the peace summit. Owen pretended to enjoy himself at the summit as if nothing was happening. However, he could not help but dart his eyes at the Carmonian soldiers. He took a deep breath and waited for any footsteps. Despite the people talking, he managed to hear a few audible footsteps coming from behind. His eyes blinked as he turned. He then noticed the same three Carmonian soldiers pointing their guns at Owen.

As soon as Owen gasped, they opened fire, startling the crowd. However, they missed due to a few other Carmonian soldiers grabbing them from behind and pulling them back to knock them out. Owen stepped back and took a few moments to breathe. The Carmonian soldiers who saved him nodded. The door behind them burst open, revealing several more Carmonian soldiers. However, just when three soldiers aimed their weapons at them, they were immediately knocked out by several Audian soldiers. The Audian military officer shouted for everyone to evacuate the building. Everyone did as they were told, and the military generals stood put to defend the summit. The Audian and Carmonian soldiers who saved the president helped escort him safely outside.

''Halt!'' The Carmonian tiger soldier, who was accompanied by other anthro animal soldiers, shouted as they ran to the door until they stopped when they saw the mysterious Pokemon land from above. They aimed their weapons at the Pokemon while it simply stood there and stared at them. The Carmonian wolf officer was the only one who didn't aim his weapon. The Pokemon summoned a long glowing blue bone. They widened their eyes, realizing that they were facing a powerful Pokemon.

''Oh god!'' the wolf officer said. The Pokemon grunted and threw the bone right at the soldiers, which split into small glowing balls that were powerful enough to knock them back and unconscious. The impact felt like an explosion of a grenade, except that they only suffered injuries from their chest and face. The wolf officer grunted and stood up, stepping back as the rest of the anthro animal soldiers opened fire at the Pokemon. They were each knocked out individually by the Pokemon's attacks, as it moved at an inhuman amount of speed. The wolf officer gasped as he stepped further back and the Pokemon stared directly at him. He had never seen anything, let alone a Pokemon, like that before. He shook his head and aimed his gun at it.

''No! Stay back! Stay back, damn you!'' he said, opening fire at it. The bullets missed it, and it deflected the bullet with the spike on its hand. His mouth and eyes widened as he lowered the gun. His life was now over. The Pokemon was going to kill him and his mission would fail. His sacrifice would be in vain. He yelped when he saw the Pokemon move in a split second and he was right in front of him. He cowered in fear, blocking his face.

''A-Alright alright, listen, I don't know what or who you are, but I promise we won't kill the president. J-Just please don't hurt me!'' he begged. The Pokemon just stared at him for a minute, then it turned and ran to the door. The wolf officer looked in confusion and then took a breather after he saw that it opened the door and left. He managed to recover from his fear for a few moments and sighed in relief. He looked down to see all of his fallen comrades. He went down to check on their pulses. Sure enough, they were alive, but injured. He shook his head. The operation had failed. He pressed the button on his earpiece.

''Command, this is unit 23, we have a situation,'' he said in Maekyonese. ''Our soldiers are down. They're still alive but they have sustained some injuries from a mysterious Pokemon. We're gonna need some escort. Over.''
