It was a beautiful snowy night in the quiet town, Lovesong in the state of Missouri. The big fancy house had a husband and a wife named Jim and Darling. They were in the middle of preparing to celebrate Christmas. The decorations were up and the Christmas tree was in the living room with all the beautiful ornaments. The air was so special , it was like it twinkled in the air. Jim and Darling were celebrating the holiday together. It was a special time. Darling was sitting on the couch, sipping hot cocoa. Jim walked into the room and sat next to Darling with a big present in his hands,
"It's for you, Darling.",he said lovingly.
He handed the present over to Darling.
"Oh Jim, dear, thank you.",said Darling
"What is it? Is it a new necklace or is it diamond earrings?",guessed Darling, as Jim chuckled.
"No even better.",nodded Jim.
Darling raised an eyebrow at him. It wasn't until she heard barking coming from the present,that she got excited. She opened the present and revealed who was doing the barking. It was a small grey terrier puppy,
"Oh Jim, he's such a handsome puppy.",gushed Darling.
She picked up the puppy. The puppy gave her licks on the cheek while she was cuddling it. Jim was watching it roll and play. It made him smile, he could tell that his wife seems to like the gift. The idea that he had got her the puppy was so special. In Darling's arms, it wagged it's tail happily.
She was cuddling it happily,
"Look at the way he is running and playing. I feel like he will always be looking for adventure like those guys who ride the trains. He's such a little Tramp.",she said.
And that, is how he got his name.
