A/N: It's been a while, let me see if I can do this

Disclaimer: I don't own Chuck

She walked into the courtyard, book in her hand. She saw the tall, curly-haired, cute guy look up at her, his eyes widening, and then he looked quickly back at his book. Wait, that wasn't right, graphic novel, that's what it was. God, she wished she had his confidence. Here he was reading a comic, in the middle of the apartment courtyard, and yeah, maybe he was a little embarrassed, but at least he was real about who he was.

She was so tired of ninety-five percent of men. Maybe the number wasn't that high, but she was considering never dating again. She glanced over at the man reading the graphic novel and decided to add an exception to that policy. She grinned at him, but he seemed to be engrossed in his book. She sat down, stretched out her legs, put on her sunglasses, and opened her book. She just wanted to sit here, enjoy the beautiful day, and read her book.

Her phone went off. She knew she should ignore it. At best, it was Carina wanting to set her up with someone, at worst…it was an ex. Her hand closed around the phone. She picked it up, saw what it said, and slammed it down on the ground. She made a frustrated growling sound and shook her head.

"Uh," she heard hesitantly. "If something's wrong with the phone, I might be able to help." She turned and saw neighbor watching her. "I'm Chuck…Chuck Bartowski. I live here, and…well…I can fix a lot of phones."

She gave him a grateful look and lifted her sunglasses to where they sat on top of her head. "This one you can't fix," she told him. She hurried on before he could reply. "It's the people texting me. The phone works fine."

"Oh," he said. He looked like he wanted to say something, thought better of it, and sat back. Her phone buzzed again, and she closed her eyes, frustrated. She opened them, smiled at Chuck, looked at the phone, and while smiling, looked like she wanted to murder someone. "I take it, it's another text?"

"Yeah," Sarah said to him. "Also, I'm Sarah. You looked like you wanted to say something a minute ago. Do you have an idea of how to stop this?"

He paused. "I don't want to sound like I'm mansplaining," he began. She nodded at him to go ahead. "Have you thought about blocking the number?"

"You can do that?" she blurted out. She knew she was technologically deficient in things she didn't need to know. She also knew that she had just blown this guy's mind with how hard he was trying not to let her see that he didn't know people existed that didn't know you could block numbers.

"Yes," he replied. "I can show you how, if you'd like." She hopped up, walked over to him, sat down beside him, and thrust the phone at him. "You must really want to be rid of this person."

"Can we block more than one?" she asked. He gave her a look. "Apparently I date really crummy guys."

"I'm sorry," he said sincerely. "So, pull up the person you want to block." The phone went off again. "Him?"

"Yeah," Sarah said. "Look at what he sent me before I came down here." She showed Chuck the text.

I miss looking into those green eyes of yours.

"They're blue," Chuck blurted out before he could stop himself. He looked over at her to apologize, but the smile she had on her face told him not only was it not necessary, but she appreciated him noticing. She nodded to the phone and saw that was exactly what she had replied. "What a moron." He realized he had disparaged someone that she had gone out with and quickly went to apologize when she spoke.

"YUP!" Chuck couldn't help but giggle. He blocked the number and showed it to her, making her smile. She did something to the phone and handed it back to him. "Look at this convo."

I miss you

Come back to me

Sarah responded Where are you

The ex My apt

Sarah Go to the window

The ex I'm here

Sarah Jump

Chuck howled in laughter. "Should I block him as well?"

"Yes, please," Sarah replied, not sure when she had more fun. "And when you're done with him, I have one more." Chuck handed her the phone back, she pulled up the next guy, and handed it back to him. "I think I was a little mean here."

?

Hey

Whatcha doing later?

Sarah Nothing

Ex Wanna hang out?

Sarah I have plans

Chuck roared with laughter. "Are you sure that wasn't mean?"

"I mean what happened between you two?" Chuck asked her.

"I caught him kissing some random at the club we were on a date at," Sarah replied. "They were about to go into the bathroom together." Chuck's eyebrows went up. "I pick some bad ones."

"Well, they're all blocked now," Chuck told her. "And you may have been to kind to him. I mean I don't know you that well, just seen you around, Carina keeps talking about you-"

"Wait, you're Chucky the IT guy?" Sarah asked, and then winced.

"I assume so," Chuck said with a grin and a shrug. "That sounds exactly like how Carina would describe me." His eyes went wide. "Wait, that dude cheated on YOU!?" Sarah wasn't sure how to react to that. "You, the martial arts trainer? That dude is lucky you didn't kick his head off." She couldn't stop the smile that came to her face as she saw the awe on his. "Man, he's a moron. First your a damn badass, and then next, he made out with, and this is Carina's words, not mine." Sarah began to chuckle, just knowing what was coming next. " 'Some bottom of the barrel, low-life slut,'" again, Carina's words." That sounded exactly like Carina.

"Chuck, can you do one more thing for me?" Sarah asked.

"Sure," Chuck replied.

"Could you put your number in there in case I ever need to block someone else's?"

"I can," Chuck told her. "But I could also show you how to do it."

"If you want to that's fine, but I'd still like your number." Chuck gave her a look, and his eyes widened as it dawned on him what she was getting at. He watched her smile at him, and then realized he needed to put in his number. He handed the phone back to her. "So if you want, you could text me so I'd have your number."

"Okay," Sarah said. She began to type something and then Chuck's phone went off. She looked up at him, a grin on her face.

Chuck pulled up his phone and looked at the text.

Hi, it's Sarah Walker, the woman you're sitting next to and helped fix her phone. I was wondering, how do you feel about eating Mexican food, with me?

Chuck looked up at Sarah, confused. "Something wrong?" Sarah asked, grinning.

"Yeah, do I just tell you yes, or text it to you?" Chuck asked. She laughed and thought this might very well be the last time she had to block a number on her phone.

A/N: Hope you liked it.
