626 lowers the charge back down to normal and sees a small prompt on is arm indicating the suit's battery currently at 87%. His mind starts to slow back down and he begins to think clearly again. He sees the experiment log is still open and takes one last look at Leroy and smiles.
626: Wait for me, cousins.
626 walks over to Hamsterviel and takes his keys to the police cruiser. As he heads out he sees a prototype helmet Hamsterviel was making for the suit and takes it just in case. He gets in the ship and sets the coordinates for the prison. Meanwhile Jumba still in hyperspace is in a panic worrying his worst fears have come true.
Jumba: Fear not 626, I'll be there shortly.
Stitch: Hmm?
Jumba: Oh, uh yes, we are very close. I need for you to be ready in case Hämsterviel chose to hide in lab. We must get there quickly before he has the chance to create anything.
Stitch: Ih.
They exit hyperspace circling the lab as Jumba go in for a landing, they notice a large blast hole in the side door of the lab.
Stitch: Naga bootifa.
Jumba: Yes, it is as I feared.
Jumba grew frustrated, fists clenched on the steering wheel wondering what Hamsterviel could be doing to his experiment. They land and exit guns drawn slowly approaching the side door, they sneak inside through the blasted door and Jumba is surprised at how quiet the lab is. There's not a single sound coming from anywhere inside the lab. They carefully look through the rooms and see all the cabinets and drawers have been opened, documents scattered throughout. They eventually reach the entrance to the main lab and see large pieces of glass littered all over the floor. Jumba down and takes a closer to inspect and sees deep scratches embedded into the glass, he confirms to himself that this was indeed done by one of his experiments. He sees his fusion chamber and its glass dome shattered wondering what kind of power it took to destroy it so easily.
Stitch: Goocha!
Stitch alerted Jumba and when he looked he saw Hamsterviel laying on the floor on his side, Jumba gets close and sees the large chunks of glass in the wall. He checks to see if Hamsterviel is okay, notices a large scratch on his chest and a bruise on his back.
Jumba: He's alive but unconscious, I had better call Lilo.
Jumba takes out his galactic communicator and calls Lilo via video call
Lilo: Hey Jumba, did you find what you were looking for?
Jumba: Eh, you could say that.
Jumba points his communicator at Hamsterviel and shows Lilo his lab and all the mess that he has made.
Jumba: I suspected he might have come here to hide but was not expecting this.
Lilo: Whoa, did Stitch do all that?
Jumba: N-no, 626 has been with me the entire time. Hämsterviel was already like this when we arrived.
Stitch: Ih, maybe was cousin.
Lilo: It definitely looks that way but we haven't heard any reports of Stitch's cousins going missing, which one could it have been?
Meanwhile just outside the prison, Gantu sits in the deck of his ship staring out the window in front of him. He worried about Reuben and considered the possibility he played a part in Hamsterviel's escape. This made him feel worse and wondered if Reuben would ever be released from prison. The thought of his last day in the prison with Reuben came up once again, he was down on one foot kneeling in and giving Reuben one last hug before he said goodbye.
Gantu: I'm sorry Reuben
Reuben: Wait you can't just leave me here alone, there's gotta be something you can do right Gantu?
Reuben: Right...
Armada Soldier: Captain, we have just gotten reports of Hämsterviel's capture.
Suddenly Gantu is snapped back into reality.
Armada Soldier: He is in custody and is being taken to Planet Turo by Dr. Jumba Jookiba
Gantu: Oh, I see. Very well, begin ordering everyone back to their posts. Where was Dr. Hämsterviel aprehended?
Armada Soldier: Galaxy Defense Industries sir
Gantu: Sent a squad over and we'll meet them there to investigate, there's something I must do before we leave.
UGF troops and ships gradually scramble and begin leaving the prison area, a lone police cruiser can be seen entering the vicinity. 626 sees the place swarming with ships but no one seems to notice him, he decides to put on the helmet to better conceal himself. 626 sees the parking garage to the prison, everyone entering and leaving scan their badge to open the door. He looks around but can't find a badge anywhere, he then flys to the side of the garage and opens the door to his ship and jumps out crawling on the outside of the garage. He approaches the door and waits for an opening, someone inside scans their card and 626 crawls in through the top before it closes. He looks around and spots an exhaust vent and crawls into ventilation system.
Back at the lab, while Stitch is busy putting Hamsterviel into Jumba's ship, Jumba is still anxiously talking with Lilo in his lab.
Lilo: All of Stitch's cousins are accounted for including Leroy's clones, did Hamsterviel create a new experiment?
Jumba: It's highly unlikely he would be able to create a new experiment in such short amount of time.
Lilo: Well I'll let the Grand Councilwoman know to watch out for anything.
Jumba signs off and is relieved he can keep the lie going a little while longer.
Jumba: ((Where could he have gone? What did he do to keep 626 alive?))
Stitch: Akootah, Stitch finished.
Jumba: Very well, let's get going.
Jumba and Stitch head back towards their ship as Jumba struggles to think what to do next. As far as he knows he is the only person who knows the true identity of that experiment and figures it can't be traced back to him. He's hopeful the experiment will be found before Hamsterviel wakes up.
Back at the Prison, 626 navigates the air vents trying to make his way towards Leroy's cell memorizing the layout of the prison to plan the escape. As he goes along he finds a vent to the security room, he peeks through and sees guards busy looking through previous camera footage.
Security Guard: I just know those experiments had something to do with it.
Guard 2: There's nothing so far on the yellow one.
Guard 1: Keep looking we need to get back on the cameras
Guard 2: There's no need now that Hamsterviel has been captured remember? Come on let's look through the red one's footage next so we don't miss lunch.
"Hamsterviel?" 626 Thought to himself wondering if they mean the rodent who made the suit for him.
626: ((Oh well, must keep looking while they're distracted))
He continues scuffling through the vents as quietly as he could looking around and finally spots the main prison through one of the vents. He quickly realizes that there is no vent that leads into the prison itself, likely for security reasons. He notices UGF troops constantly leaving the main prison wielding much larger blasters than the regular prison guards. He waits for the door to open again and sneaks inside crawling on the cieling, he crawls up the wall of main prison area onto the ceiling as quick as he could hoping to not be seen. The ceiling is high so he can crawl around unnoticed, he starts looking around for the Leroy he saw on the computer. He spots a group of prison guards leaving a cell, he gets a closer look and spots a small red prisoner handcuffed inside surrounded by a couple of guards, it's him. He finds a spot to better hide and waits for an opportunity to approach.
Leroy sits inside his cell handcuffed, with him are the remaining UGF troopers told to watch Leroy in case Hamsterviel returned to the prison.
Leroy: ((Man all that work gettin him outta here and he still got caught. I told em he soulda just let me go make clones of myself. Heh, he knew I wouldn't of come back for him though. Smart rat))
Armada Trooper: Alright we've been given the clear, we'll leave the rest up to you. We'll leave his keys with you.
The guards and troopers salute and the troopers head out.
Prison Guard: Man glad this is all finally over, I missed lunch because of this.
Guard 2: Me too, hey let's leave those cuffs on him and take our lunch now. It ain't often we're given a pair of federation grade hand cuffs.
Guard 1: Yeah let's go, I bet it was him who broke Hamsterwheel out anyway. I don't even know why they're bothering to look through the cameras. Hey! You can wear those for a little while longer can't you? We'll be right back
Leroy just stared at the wall disinterested with a serious look on his face
Leroy: Hmph, what a bunch of trogs. As soon as I get the chance I'm bustin out of here again
Suddenly Leroy hears a thud and the door of his cell opening. He assumes it's more UGF troops to watch over him but sees what appears to be an experiment wearing a black and red suit. The design had Hamsterviel's handiwork written all over it.
626: Akoota, let's go cousin, there's not much time.
Leroy: Cousin? So you're not Hamsterviel?
626: I'll explain once we've escaped, where are they keeping your clones.
Leroy: Last I heard they gottem locked up in a huge vault in the security room, apparently it's specially designed so that none of us would be able to open it. Heh, I take that as a challenge.
626: What about the yellow cousin the guards mentioned?
Leroy: Oh you mean Reuben. Yeah his cell is on the other side around the corner.
626: Can you break him out while I get your clones?
Leroy: Sure, hope he isn't too mad at me for makin him stay here longer than he should. Also kind of got my hands full at the moment.
Leroy says as he lifts his arms showing the handcuffs. 626 turns the dial on his suit as he made his way over to Leroy and Leroy watched the suit begin to glow and he was told to stand up. Leroy jumped off his bed lifted his hands forward, the experiment grabbed hold at the cuffs and pulled them apart with ease. Leroy stretched out all his arms and his finger in relief
Leroy: Whoa, you mean business, I can see why Hamsterviel sent you.
626: I was not sent by him, I came to rescue my cousins from captivity.
Leroy: Your voice. Well, I recognize Hamsterviel's work. I was kind of thinking you might've been Stitch until I heard that voice
626: I'll go get your clones from the security room, when you see the light on the cameras stop flashing, take Rueben and meet me in the air vents outside the main prison enterence.
Leroy: You really wanna get us all out of here don'tcha?
626: We are ohana, no one get's left behind
626 still having his suit charged steps out of Leroy's cell and jumps up to the ceiling from his cell, a great distance away considering the prison's size and quickly darts out of the main prison leaving a trail of green light behind.
Leroy: Tch, Showoff. Wonder where I can get me a suit like that.
626 exits the main prison and crawls back into the vents making his way towards the security room. With his charge up and having been memorizing the layout of the prison he quickly makes his way towards the security room. Once there he peeks in through the vent and sees the guards still looking through the old footage.
Security Guard: Yeah see he held the garage door open and Hamsterviel got out, open shut case.
Security Guard 2: Great, let's send it to the warden.
All of a sudden, 626 tore open the vent and jumped out into the security room.
Guard: What the heck was that?!
Guard 2: Quick activate the alarm!
626 jumps at the closest guard and kicks him towards the computer where they had been looking through he footage breaking it an sending sparks flying. He looks over at the other guard who lunges towards the alarm. 626 grabs one of the metal chairs bolted to the ground and throws it at the guard hitting him just in time and knocking him out. He rushes over to the camera system and shuts it all down.
626: Surprised nobody heard that. Now where's that vault?
He looks around then spots the vault at the corner of his eye down a hall in the security room, it was around 5 times his size and heavily reinforced while being embedded into the wall. 626 ran over and grabbed the edge of the vault door with both his hands and began to pull. He pulled as hard as he could but the door wouldn't budge.
626: *pant* Man, he wasn't kidding. Alright, time to put this thing to the test.
He turned up the dial even more, around halfway to full power which caused more spots on his suit to glow. He and grabbed the vault door again and pulled harder than before. Tiny sparks of bright green electricity started to emit from where he was holding onto the vault. He noticed this but thought nothing of it. Pretty soon he started to get angry, the door still wouldn't budge at all even at 50% of the suit's power. He started to growl his distorted growl in frustration pulling more and more sending larger waves of electricity around him. The door began to creak as he grew angrier clenching his teeth, his feet now beginning to dig into the floor. He remembers his cousins are waiting for him and gets angrier as he struggles to get the vault open.
626: Argh... DETAKAAAA!
626 turns the charge up to the max out of anger and his eyes and suit began to glow a bright green, even more of his suit begins to glow green and emanates a deep hum at the core. His angry expression has turned sinister and he tried pulling on the door once again seeing the door slowly start to pry open. The hinges and locks on the vault screeched as he pulled on the door with all of his strength. The door finally swung open with incredible force hitting the nearby metal wall nearly breaking a hole though it.
Nearby Prison Guard: Hey what in the world was that?
Prison Guard: Sounds like it came from the security room.
626: Tch, choota!
626 lowered the charge back to normal and ran into the vault. He sees a small glass and metal cylinder filled with red dehydrated experiment pods, takes it and rushes back to the vent. Before he leaves he places the pods down and tears another chair off the floor and jams the door of the security room with it. He takes the pods and crawls into the vault and heads back towards his cousins. He makes his way to the prison entrance again and sees his cousins.
Reuben: So, that's our cousin huh? You know, you kind of remind me of Stitch.
Leroy: Yeah but without all the fluff, I like 'em, much better than Hamsterwheel.
626: We don't have much time. I'll explain everything once we're out of here
Reuben: Figures, so what's the escape plan cuz?
626: We have to get to the garage and take the police cruiser I have parked there
Leroy: I know how we can get there quicker, this is not the first time I've done this.
Reuben: Not today you mean.
626 smiled as he seemed to be getting along with his new ohana. He followed Leroy to a vent which led to a large crossroads room surrounded by many doors.
Leroy: That's the door that leads out, come on let's go.
The three cousins step outside of the vents and make their way towards the exit. Prison Guards finally manage to blast open the security door open and see the two security guards passed out on the floor. They see the vault door has been forced open.
Prison Guard: What the heck happened in here?
Prison Guard 2: Hey look the cameras were turned off.
The guard turns on the cameras and see Leroy is no longer in his cell. He quickly skims though the rest of the monitors and sees the 3 experiments running towards the exit. He hits the alarm and grabs the intercom.
Intercom: Alert we have two escaped convicts headed towards the garage, all available personel report to the lobby immediately!
Gantu still sitting just outside the prison notices the alarm has been activated.
Gantu: Blitznak, that had better not be Reuben.
Inside the prison the cousins see the alarm lights on and start to panic.
Leroy: Choota, they'll be here any minute
626: Goobaja, keep running.
They run towards the door but suddently the door just near the wall of the garage door opens revealing a squad of prison guards guns drawn begin to take take aim. 626 and Leroy jump behind cover but Reuben isn't so quick and gets blasted by the guards. He takes multiple direct plasma blasts at once sending him flying and lands near the cousins as they watch in horror. Reuben landed near Leroy as he watched his cousin lay motionless on the ground, still scorching a bit from the plasma blasts.
Leroy: *Grr* No, I promised him we'd escape. We gotta take out those guards quick.
626: Don't worry cousin, meega has your back
626 raises the charge on his suit once more feeling he'll need some extra power. Leroy looks back at 626 who is reaching his hand out him, Leroy grabs it and 626 tightens his grip. As he does the same green electricity from before starts to pass onto Leroy engulfing him and charging him up. The suit begins to hum as the power transfers over to Leroy. Leroy's eyes slowly began to glow a bright green and his voice became distorted just like 626's does. He finally lets go and the suit goes back to regular charge despite the gauge being turned up, 626 watches as Leroy gets angrier and angrier growling before finally looking back at the guards.
Leroy: Grrrgh, MEEGA NALA KWEESTA!
Leroy shouts in with the distorted voice sending chills down the guard's spine as they see Leroy charging towards them with a crazed look on his face. The guards take aim and begin firing at him but Leroy dodges them all with ease laughing as he was doing it, he's significantly faster than before and goes berzerk taking out the guards one by one as they fail to land a hit on him. More guards come in through other doors and Leroy quickly disposes of them too, 626 is unsure of what just happened but he concludes that's what the nodes on his palm were. He uses this time to mend Reuben and attatches the container holding Leroy's clones to him.
626: ((So that's what that was, meega's not so sure how long it'll last so better hurry))
Prison Guard Radio: Leroy is too much for us, we'll have to retreat.
Security Guard: Where's that record we were told to play in case Leroy ever tried to escape?
Security Guard 2: It's in the vault, quick play it over the intercom.
As Leroy continues his rampage suddenly the door to the garage is blasted open, UGF troops storm in armed with their large military grade plasma cannons with Gantu not too far behind them.
Gantu: So, you were planning to escape all this time weren't you, where's Reuben.
Leroy: Hehahaha, nice guns. Meega want
Gantu aims his blaster at Leroy and Leroy simply smiles back and laughs. He gets on all fours and begins running towards the troopers, as he does the song "Aloha Oi" can be heard over the intercom. Gantu raises his arm commanding his troops to hold as Leroy trips rolling over and starts short circuiting.
Gantu: Wait don't shoot, that won't be necessary.
626 watches Leroy collapse on the floor twitching uncontrollably in pain before going unconcious. He continues to hide behind cover and turns up his dial but the charge won't go up anymore, he couldn't even check to see how much battery the suit had left. He looks back around the corner and sees troopers swarming in as they approach Leroy.
626: Choota, naga bootifa. Did the suit already run out of battery?
He looked over at Reuben and considered trying to activate the Leroy clones but figured the song would make them short circuit too. The rest of the guards enter the prison along with Gantu and they pick up Leroy's body. 626 begins to panic seeing both his cousins are down and he can no longer power up. He looks at his cousins again and begins to feel guilty he let them both down.
626: Forgive me cousins, I have failed
626 feels something grabbing his leg and sees Reuben face down struggling to look up.
Reuben: H-hey it's fine, cuz... I-I'm just glad there was someone out there who still cared enough about us to, to want to break us out...
Reuben lets go of 626 and he passes out again. 626 sits there in defeat as he thinks of his cousins never getting to experience true freedom. He sits next to Reuben awaiting his fate waiting for himself to short circuit then the suit started to glow green again, the dial was still set to the charge 626 left it on last and the suit begins to power up to that level. 626 lifts his head up and notices the lights on his suit are on again. One of the UGF troopers sees the light and approaches.
Trooper: Captain I found the other prisoner you were looking for, looks like there's someone else with him.
Gantu: Don't shoot, you might hit Reuben! You there, come on out with your hands up, there's nowhere left to run.
626 checks the battery on his suit once more and sees it's at 18%, he wonders how it got so low so quickly but remembers how much power was needed to open the vault. He thinks to himself for a sec before turning up the charge to the max and smiling. Suddenly he vanished leaving nothing behind but the blur of his green glow.
Trooper: What, where'd he go?
Trooper 2: He moved so quick I could hardly see him.
Trooper 3: Up there!
626 is up on a wall looking out through the window towards the parking garage planning his final escape, the guards shoot at him all at once causing a massive plasma explosion. When the dust settled he was gone once again.
Gantu: Behind you!
One of the guards is hit and thrown towards a group of troopers knocking them down like bowling pins, 626 now holding Leroy quickly jumped and put him next to Reuben.
626: Wait here cousins
626 extended his extra set of arms tearing holes in his suit, he then began to growl as the spines in his back revealed which ripped more holes in the suit. Lines of green electricity flowing through the spines, Gantu took aim and fired a blast directly at the experiment who nearly dodged it as he began running on all fours. He quickly swept around the floor picking up four of the trooper's large plasma cannons, one in each hand and looked up at the guards.
626: Meega chi tay (My turn)
626 said in a distorted sinister voice, then without warning he jumped and spun firing blasts all over the room hitting several guards at once while Gantu jumped back into the garage behind cover.
Gantu: Fall back!
Gantu watched as one by one his troopers were swiftly being taken out trying to flee. He tried to shoot at 626 but couldn't focus on him, out of nowhere a volley of plasma blasts begin to fire in Gantu's direction destroying the cover he was using. He peeks around the corner gun drawn but sees nothing, just the floor covered by guards and troopers in the lobby.
626: Looking for me?
Gantu turned around and saw 626 aiming the four plasma cannons right at him.
Gantu: Oh... Blitznak
626 fires sending Gantu flying back into the prison, he powers the suit back down feeling the coast is finally clear. Gantu lies there trying to get up and looking around at all his troops, he checks the damage done to his chest and sees two big scorch marks meaning two of the blasters were empty when he was shot. He find it difficult to move as he lies there in pain, he looks over at Reuben and slowly crawls over to him. 626 casually walks back towards his cousins passing by Gantu feeling he's no longer a threat, he picks up both of his cousins and makes his way towards the exit.
Gantu: Wait, d-don't take him. If you do they'll lock him up in prison for the rest of his life.
626 stops and looks back over at Gantu
626: Whether he's here or with someone else he's in prison, meega is finally setting him free.
626 kept on walking, Gantu sees a nearby blaster and grabs it.
Gantu: N-no, I won't let you take him
Gantu wispers to himself before taking aim and shooting at 626 who hears the blast jumps back dodging it, he flips and lands near Gantu still holding on to his cousins. Gantu looks back at 626 who kicks him towards the nearest wall finally knocking him out. He exists the prison and sees the B.R.B 9000 on and parked inside the garage with the door wide open. He walks inside and places his cousins down then makes his way towards the deck, he checks the battery on his suit again and sees it's at 7%. He closes the door to the ship and sets the coordinates back to the lab before collapsing onto the floor.
