Chapter 1: An Abnormal Occurrence
Sly Cooper once again has attempted to steal something from a Nevada Museum, but was caught by Inspector Carmelita Fox, a woman he has an extremely complicated relationship with. Carm is escorting him out of the building, shock pistol to his back and Officers surrounding him when they exit. She notices a smirk on his face, as if he either wanted to be caught or is planning something.
Carmelita: Why are you smiling, Ringtail? I really kinda feel like this time you WANTED to be caught.
Sly: Look, beautiful, I'll finally accept my time due on the condition that you inspect my cell once a week and we "Have fun" like we did when I had amnesia.
The Foxy Inspector gives him a look that to him, looks like a "Maybe". As Carm is taking Sly to a Police Car, she notices something. The car looks nothing like the PD cars from around the area. Also she notices there doesn't seem to be a driver ready to go in the front seat.
Suddenly the car starts to shake and parts on it start to shift. Everyone around is shocked and baffled as the car turns into what looks like a big metal monster robot. It growls as the officers start to shoot at it, but the bullets don't work. This would usually be the time for Sly to sneak away while everyone is distracted, but he stands still just as shocked as Carm next to him. The officers are driven away to get possible reinforcements as the Robot picks up Sly and Carm.
Carmelita: (Screams) Let go of me Tu hijo de puta de Metal!
Sly is extremely nervous to speak. He had never seen anything like this before. Finally the robot talks.
Barricade: ARE YOU USERNAME LADIESMAN217!
Sly: Whu- what?
Barricade: ARE YOU USERNAME LADIESMAN217 ON THIEFNET!
Sly: I- I- mean yeah, I use Thiefnet under that username, what do you want with me?!
Barricade: WHERE ARE THE ALLSPARK FRAGMENTS!?
Sly: Allwhu-?I have no idea what you're talking about Heavy Metal!
Carmelita: He's stolen a lot, he's most likely lying (gives Sly a stern look). But let go of him, you Robotic piece of shit! If anyone's gonna take him, it's me!
Barricade: Is that so? Research conducted indicates the thief known as Sly Cooper really cares about you, so if he ain't telling the truth, you're coming with me!
Barricade then throws Sly aside, transforming back into a car, trapping Carm inside him and speeds off.
Camelita: Sly!
Sly: Carmelita!
A ton of actual police cars in pursuit of Barricade chase after him, not noticing the thief. Meanwhile Carmelita finds herself locked inside her kidnapper. She still has her shock pistol and shoots everywhere in hopes he'll stop, but nothing's working. Sly immediately calls his gang.
Sly: Bentley! Murray! Camelita has been taken by…. A Police car…robo- look it's hard to explain but she's in trouble! Start the Van and meet me by the Museum STAT!
Bentley: (Over the phone) Will do, Sly!
At the Safehouse, Sly's comrades start up the Cooper van
?: Alright! Ready to roll! Let's go!
The Hippo and turtle look at each other.
Bentley: Did you-?
Murray: Yeah. (Few seconds of silence)
Bentley: Let's not worry about the voices in our seemingly conjoined minds right now. Camelita's in trouble!
Murray: Right!
And with that, the Cooper Van rolls out.
