hapter 2: In pursuit
Bentley and Murray picked up Sly and the trio are chasing after Barricade and get in between him and the Police cars who were chasing him.
Bentley: So let me get this straight: A Police car turned robot took Car-
Sly: (Interrupts) Yeah! Yeah! I know it sounds completely bogus, but is probably 95%... 80% true and yes I have been taking my medication.
Bentley: I wonder if this has anything to do with my potentially off-world crystal shard?
Sly: What?
Murray: Guys! Just askin', are the cops after the captor or us?
Sly: Likely both.
After some maneuvering, both Barricade and the Van manage to lose the Police. 'Cade is almost out of town when two cars stop in front of him. One another Police car painted mainly white, another a smaller yellow car looking akin to a Volkswagen Beetle. This causes him and the Van to come to a screeching halt. The gang then hears the cars talk.
Barricade: Well if it isn't my two favorite Autobot rivals!
Bumblebee: We heard you were in town and had the strong feeling you'd be causing havoc.
Prowl: You chose a Police car alt. mode like me, yet you serve complete injustice.
Barricade: INJUSTICE! I'LL SHOW YOU INJUSTICE!
'Cade's door opens and Carmelita pops out. He transforms and throws her forward away from the forthcoming action.
Sly: Carmelita!
Prowl and Bumblebee transform into more friendly and heroic looking robots ready to fight. Bentley and Murray are amazed at what they are seeing. Especially Bentley, who is analyzing the bots' unique weapons and abilities like Ninja Shuikens and electric stingers. An intense 2 on 1 fight ensues. Sly gets out of the Van and sees Carm on the other side of the fight. She can't walk as her leg is hurt and attempts to slowly crawl towards him, but soon stops as she doesn't want to get crushed by the huge fighting robots. Pretty quickly the two good bots corner the bad one.
Bumblebee: What are you 'Cade? Coward?
Barricade: I AM NO COWARD!
Prowl: What was that just now about you showing us injustice? I'm pretty sure that wasn't it.
Barricade: (pretending to be getting a call) What's that? Of course, Megatron! I'll be there right away. (Pretends to hang up) My lord has requested my presence at an even bigger and intense battle that none of you would survive at least 30 Nano-cycles in! Later Punks!
Barricade then grabs the weak Carmelita and transforms back into a car, trapping her once again and fleeing.
Sly: NO!
Bumblebee: He was totally a coward.
Prowl chuckles and the two fist bump. They then notice the Cooper Gang behind them.
Sly: WHERE HAVE YOU TAKEN HER!?
Bumblebee: Relax Stripetail. We're the good guys. Why else would we be fighting that tough looking but ultimately cowardly bad cop back there?
Sly: (Calms down) Okay, but just who are you people?
Prowl: How about we take you three back to our base and we'll explain everything. In fact I think you've a person we've been looking for. Syd Conrad, Master badger thief?
Sly: It's Sly Cooper, I'm actually a raccoon and these are Bentley and Murray.
Bentley takes out his small glowing blue crystal in a vile.
Bentley: You guys might not happen to know what this is, do you?
Prowl: Primus! Is that an Allspark fragment? The one we've been looking for?
Murray: Allspark?
Bumblebee: We detected a fragment somewhere in this town, as well as an Allspark radiation of some kind, but we don't know where it is. Look, we'll explain everything, just come with us.
The two bots transform back into cars and open their doors.
Sly: I'm still not sure about trusting you guys, but I'll give you a chance if you can help us save Carmelita. Also, no matter what, a thief never gets in a police car willingly.
Bumblebee: Alright, I'll take you guys.
Sly and Bentley get into Bumblebee
Bentley: Murray, you taking the Van?
Murray: Of course I'm not leaving her behind! But I'll be right behind you guys.
Murray gets into the Cooper van and starts to follow the two cars.
?: Can I call you dad?
Murray: (breathes) Just ignore the voice and soon maybe there's some good therapy for you.
