Last time we left off, Sue had been driven out of town after nearly striking Bobby and Lori's baby and getting stricken herself as a result, by both Lori and grief. Also, we learn that Rosato has cheated death and has an offer for former news reporter Katherine Mulligan. Castleton, on the other hand, has finally come to a decision on what to do with the money he received from Byung-ho. What's next for Louds and Santiagos? Let's find out.
As usual, I like to thank DukeyDukeyDoo and Maikoh Locklear for helping me proofread this chapter.

Chapter 47: Babysitting Bumblebee
Two weeks later, in Downtown Royal Woods, Castleton Detective Agency...
[Castleton sat at the desk in the office of his new private detective agency watching the news on a little television set as he chewed on a piece of peppermint gum. The front of the building had a neon sign that showed the name of the business along with what looked to be a castle. Castleton hadn't had very much business, but it was enough to pay the rent and put food on the table given the $30 per hour wages. The funds he received from Byung-ho certainly helped with the costs, and it would be enough to keep the building up for at least a month or two.]
[Of course, Castleton wasn't alone in setting things up, as he had help from T-Bone, who would be working freelance between the R.W.P.D and Castleton's business. Deidre had also volunteered to help Castleton out, especially if it meant protecting Clyde and the Loud Family from any possible danger. Police Chief Marshall had also assigned Schoffner (who was recently promoted to detective) to act as liaison for the R.W.P.D., handling any cases that Castleton would be given. But all the same, Castleton figured he would need more help in the form of a new partner.]
[Just then, there was a knock on the door and Castleton focused his attention towards it.]
Castleton: "Come in."
[The door opened, and a young African-American man around the age of 18 entered the office before sitting down in front of the detective's desk. The man wore a dark blue jersey, blue jeans, and black tennis shoes. His hair was cut in an Ivy League style and he also sported a small stubble of facial hair on his chin. As Castleton looked at the young man, he couldn't help but notice something familiar about him.]
Castleton: "You look familiar. Have I seen you somewhere before?"
Man: "Maybe... I'm Eugene Tyreese Joseph, but my friends call me Gene."
Castleton: "Oh, of course... Joseph's son... I saw you at your mother's funeral nearly three weeks ago."
[Castleton sighed as he thought about the officer that served under him and the gruesome fate she suffered.]
Castleton: "I'm sorry for your loss. Your mother was a good woman... and she deserved better."
[Gene looked down as he thought about his mother.]
Gene: "You have no idea."
[Castleton cleared his throat as he got back on the subject.]
Castleton: "So, are you living with anybody as of right now?"
Gene: "Just my pops and my five younger siblings. Things have been pretty tough at home since moms died."
Castleton: "And what brings you here? You here to report a crime?"
Gene: "Nah, man. I heard you were hiring, so I'm just here for the job."
[Castleton's eyes widened as he stared at the young man with concern.]
Castleton: "Are you sure you want to do this? This job requires proper use of a handgun."
Gene: "Hey, I gotta support my family somehow. The money my dad makes at his job is hardly enough to keep us all fed now that moms is gone. Besides, I was looking for a little action in my line of work. That's when I learned about your new business from Miss Hayes and decided to apply for work here."
Castleton: "Mm-hmm... You do realize that this profession requires skill in firearms, right?"
Gene: "Man, I've played plenty of arcade shooting games since I was a kid. I could practically get used to handling a real gun or two."
Castleton: "Well, this is not a game, son. This is the real thing, and real life is never a game. You need to watch your corners for potential threats and never let your guard down for a second if you want to make it in this line of work. Are we clear?"
[Gene crossed his arms and took a moment to let the words of his new boss sink in.]
Gene: "Sure thing, Mr. Castleton. I'll do whatever you say and whatever it takes for my family."
Castleton: "That's good."
[Castleton then stood up before walking over to Gene and putting his arm around him.]
Castleton: "You have a lot to learn about being a private investigator. But first, you better come down to the basement with me so I can teach you how to actually use a gun. My friend Byung-ho has a shooting range set up down there if you're up for a little target practice."
Gene: "Whatever you say, man."
[And with that, Gene stood up before Castleton guided him towards the door. Castleton had also hired Byung-ho to set up a shooting range in the building's basement for target practice in case he ever had a partner. He needed to make sure that this young man was capable of using a gun if he needed to protect himself from any danger.]
Gene: "Alright! Time to see if my skills finally pay off."
Castleton: "We'll see, son."
[And with that, Castleton and Gene went out the door and exited the office.]
One week later, outside of Carlisle Park Apartments...
[It had been a month since Sue had left Royal Woods, and the first day of Spring had just arrived. During the time that passed, Leni, Luna or Luan would come over to babysit Marty while Bobby and/or Lori were working at their jobs or when the both of them were off on a date. Sometimes, whenever the three Loud sisters weren't available, Carol, Becky, Dana, Fiona, Miguel, Mandee, Jackee, or Sam would handle the babysitting. Aside from that, not too much has happened in Bobby and Lori's home life since Sue's departure.]
[It was just another Friday, and Bobby had just returned home from his door to door corndog salesman job. He parked Cathy in the usual parking space before shutting off the engine, then he got out and entered the complex before making his way to Unit B3.]
[Upon reaching his apartment, Bobby used his key to unlock the door before going in. As soon as Bobby entered the apartment and shut the door, the first thing that caught his eye was Lori, who was in the kitchen wearing nothing but a white apron. The woman was bent over at the fridge with her round naked behind in full view of the young man as her hips swayed left and right, trapping Bobby in its hypnotizing gaze. It was quite obvious to Bobby that his girlfriend was expecting him.]
Bobby: Oh Mama! I'm coming!
[With a smirk on his face and a tent being pitched in his pants, Bobby snuck behind Lori and got on all fours before wrapping his arms around his girlfriend's thighs and planting his face between both of her butt cheeks. Lori blushed and her eyes widened as she felt her boyfriend's face being buried between her buns. The woman then looked back and smirked seductively as she saw her lover in Heaven.]
Lori: "Always happy to see me, aren't you, Boo-Boo Bear?"
Bobby: "You have no idea, Babe!"
[Bobby planted a kiss on Lori's left butt cheek before rubbing his head against it.]
Bobby: "So... What are we having for lunch today?"
Lori: "I don't know? You literally seem to want to skip right ahead to dessert."
Bobby: "Well, can you blame me? You are muy sweet."
[Lori giggled seductively as Bobby buried his face in her ass again, his nose now digging into her rectal cavity, making the woman moan in arousal. Bobby then undid his belt buckle and started pulling down his pants as his bulge can be seen underneath his orange boxers with red chili peppers on them.]
[However, the familiar sound of a baby crying came from the nursery, prompting Lori to stand up straight and look towards the noise.]
Lori: "Dang it! You need to let me go now, Bobby. Our baby needs me."
[Lori moved Bobby's head from her backside and rushed to the nursery before Bobby, still stuck in his lovesick stupor, collapsed to the floor. After snapping back to reality and smacking his forehead a couple of times, Bobby got back on his feet before following Lori with his pants around his ankles. When he approached the nursery, he saw Lori leaning over the crib before she picked up the crying baby. Marty's tuft of hair had grown a little and he was no longer wrapped in a blue bundle. He also wore yellow onesie pajamas accompanied by a bib with a picture of a cutesy bumblebee on the front, all of the clothing of which were made by his Aunt Leni weeks prior.]
Lori: "Mommy's right here, sweetie. You're okay."
[Lori then lowered the top left strap of her apron and let her left breast hang out, allowing her baby to feed. Bobby leaned against the door frame as he watched his girlfriend tend to their son, while also getting a few more glimpses at her rear end. Bobby sighed as he continued staring at Lori's butt. Despite having his time interrupted by Marty's crying, he simply couldn't stay disappointed.]
Bobby: So beautiful.
[Lori looked back at Bobby, who quickly turned his attention to Lori's eyes as the woman turned around to face him.]
Lori: "I'm sorry, Bobby... Having time to ourselves is harder to find these days."
[Bobby put his hand on Lori's cheek as he spoke.]
Bobby: "It's fine, Babe. You couldn't help it. Our little bumblebee's well-being comes first, after all."
[Lori gave a small smile at Bobby before putting her hand on his cheek.]
Lori: "We'll have our time tonight... I promise."
[Lori leaned forward and gave her boyfriend a kiss on the lips.]
Bobby: "Alright. I'll see you later tonight... Hopefully."
[Bobby gave Lori a smooch on her right cheek before turning around to leave the room. By that time, Marty had finished feeding from his mommy.]
Bobby: God, she is so amazing! I love her so fucking much!
[Lori smiled as she watched her boyfriend leave the room with his pants still dragging along his ankles, giving her a full view of his backside, which was covered by his boxers.]
Lori: You are such a clumsy oaf, Bobby Boo-Boo Bear... But you literally make every moment of my life with you worth living.
[Lori snapped out of her thoughts as she felt her baby squirm in her arms. Lori smiled warmly and held Marty over her shoulder before gently patting the baby on the back. Marty let out a small burp and sighed contently as he settled down. Lori then put the sleeping baby back in his crib, covered him with his blanket, and put his pacifier in his mouth.]
Lori: And so do you, my little Bumblebee, even if you do wear me and your daddy out a lot. I love you both very much.
[Lori then gave her son a kiss on the forehead before leaving the nursery as quietly as she could.]
That night...
[Bobby laid in bed wearing only his boxers as he watched the bathroom door, eagerly anticipating his lover to come out. Lori had recently gotten Marty to sleep and needed a relaxing shower after taking care of him.]
[Just then, the bathroom door opened, and out came Lori with a blue towel around her body and a seductive smile on her face. Bobby smirked as he gazed at the young woman.]
Bobby: "Hey, Babe. You mind if I ask what you got under all that tonight?"
[Lori giggled seductively as she removed the towel, revealing nothing but her hourglass figure. Bobby smiled as his bulge poked from under the boxers.]
Lori: "Does this answer your question, Bobby Boo-Boo Bear?"
Bobby: "Oh si... I am so ready."
[Lori strutted over to the bed before getting on top of her boyfriend as her bare butt now sat right on top of his pelvis. Lori then felt a familiar poke from under the young man's boxers, making her blush.]
Lori: "Mmmm... Is that a hot chili pepper down there? Or are you just that happy to see me?"
[Bobby let out a chuckle as he looked up at Lori.]
Bobby: "Well I do happen to be wearing the right boxers, so I guess that counts as both?"
[The Loud woman then leaned forward and put her hands on her boyfriend's face as her own face was now inches away from it.]
Lori: "I promised that we would have our time tonight, and I am going to honor that promise."
[Bobby put his left hand on Lori's cheek as he maintained eye contact with her.]
Bobby: "Who am I to deny that promise, Babe?"
[Lori looked down and noticed a little hair on Bobby's chest. She then motioned her index finger on that particular area and lovingly circled it around for a bit.]
Lori: "My goodness, Boo-Boo Bear... You've literally grown some hair on you."
Bobby: "So you've noticed? I know it's not much, but in a few years or so, I'll grow a full chest of it. Do you like it?"
[Lori made eye contact with Bobby again before kissing him on the lips.]
Lori: "I love it, Bobby. But not as much as I love you."
[Lori then kissed Bobby on the neck before speaking to him again.]
Lori: "And don't you worry about a thing. I literally took the pill after my shower."
[Bobby put his hands on Lori's shoulders as he continued to stare into her loving gaze.]
Bobby: "You are such a responsible girl, Lori. Come here, you."
[With that, Lori and Bobby's faces inched closer and they both locked lips while Bobby put his hands on his girlfriend's back and caressed it lovingly before moving to her butt cheeks.]
[But just before they could go any further, they stopped kissing when they heard the cries of their infant son coming from the nursery. Lori groaned in frustration as she rolled off of Bobby and laid beside him on the bed before putting her hand over her forehead.]
Lori: "Literally? It's like he doesn't want us to have our fun."
[Lori sat up with a sigh and was about to get out of bed when Bobby stopped her by grabbing her hand.]
Bobby: "I got this one, Babe. Check it."
[Bobby got up and put on his green shirt before making his way to the baby's room as Lori watched him go.]
[As soon as he entered the nursery, Bobby approached the crib and looked down at his crying child. He reached down and felt the baby's diaper for any signs of wetness, but found nothing. He also found no sign of him being hungry, which brought Bobby to one conclusion.]
Bobby: "You want papi to sing to you again, don't you? Alright, if it'll get you back to Slumberland, I'll gladly do it."
[Bobby then approached a chair by the crib where his guitar sat before picking it up. He then sat on the chair and tuned the instrument for a bit and began to play a soft serenade that lasted for a few minutes as he sang in Spanish and English.]
Hush, little baby, don't you cry; Papi's gonna sing you a lullaby.
Hush, little baby, don't say a word; Papi's gonna buy you a mockingbird.
And if that mockingbird don't sing; Papi's gonna buy you a diamond ring.
And if that diamond ring don't shine; Papi's gonna buy you a cute canine.
And if that canine can't do tricks; Papi's gonna buy you some baby chicks.
And if those chicks have run away; Papi's gonna try hard to make your day.
So hush, little baby, don't you cry; Papi knows you're his little guy.
[By the time Bobby had finished playing, he looked over at Marty and saw that he was finally asleep again. Bobby smiled as he looked down at the baby.]
Bobby: "There we go, mijo. You're all set now."
[Bobby carefully set the guitar back in its spot and stood up before looking down at his sleeping son and gently tousling his hair.]
Bobby: "Sleep tight now. Your mami and I need plenty of rest... and so do you."
[And with that, Bobby left the nursery and went back to the bedroom looking exhausted as Lori waited in the bed. Bobby then joined his girlfriend on the bed again before speaking.]
Bobby: "Finally... I thought he'd never settle down. Now where were we?"
[Lori smiled seductively at her boyfriend as she answered while circling her index finger around his chest.]
Lori: "You were about to make me feel like a woman again?"
[Bobby rolled right on top of Lori, eager to make her feel loved again as the woman giggled.]
Bobby: "Alright... Let's do it!"
[As soon as he said that, however, Bobby conked out on Lori's chest, much to the young woman's dismay. It really was hard for the two of them to have any private time now that Marty was around, so much so that Lori was getting tired of it. Lori knew that something had to be done about this, so she grabbed her cell phone off the end table and started texting someone.]
The next morning, at around 8:30 A.M...
[It was just after breakfast time, and Bobby and Lori were sitting on the couch watching TV while Marty laid in his mother's arms as the young woman fed him from her left breast.]
[Just after the baby was fed and burped, a knock on the front door caught Bobby and Lori's attention.]
Lori: "I better go get that, Bobby."
[After handing Marty over to his father, Lori got up from the couch and walked over to the door before opening it to find Leni and Luna standing there with smiles on their faces.]
Lori: "Hi, Leni! Hi, Luna!"
[Immediately, the two girls embraced their older sister.]
Leni: "Hey, Lori!"
Luna: "What up, Sis?"
Lori: "Thanks for coming, you guys. Bobby and I could literally use your help right about now."
[The two girls broke away from their embrace before Luna spoke up.]
Luna: "Say no more about it, Lori. Now where is the little ankle biter?"
[At that moment, Leni and Luna looked towards the couch and saw Marty in the arms of their eldest sister's boyfriend before walking over to them as Lori followed.]
Leni: "Hiiiiiii, Marty!"
Luna: "Hello, Baaaaaaaaaaby!"
[Marty gurgled happily when he saw two of his aunts standing over him. Leni scooped Marty in her arms before she and Luna started kissing the baby's cheeks affectionately, making him giggle. Lori and Bobby smiled as they watched the wholesome display.]
Bobby: "Hey, Leni and Luna. What brings you here?"
Leni: "Oh! Hi, Bobby! Lori texted us and said that you both needed a little break from taking care of the baby."
[Bobby looked over at Lori with a smile and got up from the couch before walking over to his girlfriend and taking her hand.]
Bobby: "You really know how to think ahead, Babe."
Lori: "Of course I do! Our alone time has literally been long overdue."
[Lori then leaned forward and kissed Bobby on the cheek as Leni and Luna looked at their sister with the baby in the rocker's arms.]
Luna: "And we'd like to thank you for texting ahead, Lori."
Lori: "It's no problem. Bobby and I have been longing for a break for weeks. Besides, I think it's about time Marty bonded with his extended family."
Leni: "That is super sweet, Lori. We would totes love to watch little Marty for you."
[Leni leaned over to Marty and gently pinched his cheek as the baby gurgled happily.]
Luna: "That's right! And as soon as we're out that door, you're a Bobby girl in a Bobby world."
Lori: "Thanks, girls. Just wait right here a minute. Bobby and I need to give you the necessary supplies before you go."
Bobby: "Yep! BRB."
[With that, Lori and Bobby went into the nursery, leaving Marty alone with Leni and Luna. The two girls then sat on the couch as they took the time they had to play with their nephew for a bit more. Marty sat on Luna's lap as the rocker stroked her infant nephew's hair while Leni entertained the baby by shaking a rattle she had brought with her.]
[After about a minute, Lori and Bobby came back into the living room with a baby bag along with Marty's stuffed bear before Leni and Luna stood up from the couch with the baby in the fashionista's arms.]
Lori: "I've prepared some bottles for Marty and a pack of diapers when you need to change him."
[Lori handed the bag to Luna and the rocker girl took it.]
Luna: "You got it, Sis."
Bobby: "Make sure you feed Marty every two to three hours."
Leni: "Totes."
Luna: "No prob, Bob."
Lori: "And don't forget Blue Bear. It's his most favorite toy in the world."
[Lori handed the bear to Leni and she gladly took the toy before handing it to Marty. The baby closed his eyes and cooed as he snuggled with the stuffed toy as his aunts looked down at him sweetly.]
Leni: "Awww."
Luna: "So adorable."
Bobby: "And be sure to call us if anything's wrong."
Leni: "Got it!"
Luna: "Don't worry about it, Bobsled. Your little tyke's in good hands. We'll handle him with care."
Lori: "And finally, we'll be calling you every hour to see how you are doing. Are we clear?"
Leni: "Right."
Luna: "Crystal."
Lori: "Then it's settled. Marty is all yours for the day."
Bobby: "We'll come pick him up at around 8:00 P.M.."
Luna: "We hear ya! You pick him up at eight, and don't be late. You hear?"
[Lori and Bobby nodded before the former leaned over to look at her son with a warm smile.]
Lori: "You be good to Aunt Leni and Aunt Luna, sweetie. I love you."
[Lori gave her son a kiss on the cheek.]
Bobby: "Adios, mijo, and have fun. We'll see you real soon."
[Bobby tousled his son's hair as he said this.]
Leni: "Say bye-bye to mommy and daddy, Marty."
[Marty just stared at his parents for a few moments before sucking his thumb. Leni frowned as she noticed this.]
Leni: "Well? Aren't you going to say bye-bye?"
[Luna patted her sister's head as she spoke.]
Luna: "I think he gets the idea, Lens. Let's get going."
Leni: "Okay! Bye, Lori and Bobby! We'll see you later tonight!"
Bobby: "Take care, girls."
[And with that, the two girls left the apartment with the baby before Bobby walked over to the door and shut it. As soon as he locked the door, Bobby turned around to look at his girlfriend, who was walking over to her lover with a smile on her face.]
Bobby: "So... Now that we have the place to ourselves... What do you think we should do first?"
[Bobby was immediately pinned to the door and was met with a passionate kiss on the lips from Lori which lasted for a few seconds until Lori stopped and put her finger on Bobby's cheek.]
Lori: "I was thinking we'd have a little fun on the couch, if that's okay with you?"
[Bobby smirked at Lori as he put his hands around her waist.]
Bobby: "Sounds like someone's a little frisky today."
[With that, Bobby lifted Lori before kissing her passionately on the lips while Lori lifted her legs and wrapped them around Bobby's waist. They made out for a few seconds as Bobby carried his girlfriend over to the couch before they both crashed on it with Bobby on top.]
Bobby: "You mind if I...?"
Lori: "Go right ahead, you big man. There is nothing holding you back now."
[Bobby grabbed the bottom of Lori's shirt with both hands and lifted it to reveal her body. Her breasts were held by her blue bra.]
Bobby: "Oh, I really missed this!"
Lori: "So do I, Boo-Boo Bear! Go on... Touch them..."
[And with that, Bobby planted his face right between his girlfriend's breasts, making her moan as the girl wrapped her arms around Bobby's neck.]
Lori: "Oh Bobby! You are such a tease!"
[As this went on, Bobby and Lori then rolled on the couch with Lori now on top of her boyfriend.]
Lori: "I got you pinned, Bobby, my big, hard worker."
Bobby: "Oh, Lori, mi amore."
[And for the next 10 minutes, Lori and Bobby had their fun messing about in their living room. They were so loud that Deidre could hear them from next door as the former undercover detective was wearing her robe and having a cup of coffee.]
Deidre: "Damn... Just listen to those crazy kids. I just hope they're using protection. But I wonder how their little one is doing?"
Meanwhile...
[Leni drove behind the wheel of Vanzilla while Luna sat in the second row seats with Marty as the baby cried in his car seat while clinging to the stuffed bear. He had never been out of his home with anyone other than his mommy and daddy before. And for that matter, he had never been anywhere without his mommy and daddy either. Luna gently rubbed her nephew's head to try and calm him down.]
Leni: "Awww... I think he really misses his mommy and daddy."
Luna: "He must take after his 'rents. He can't stand to be away from either of them."
[Marty kept crying for another few minutes, showing no signs of calming down.]
Luna: "Shhh, shhh, shhh, shhh... Hey... Don't cry, little dude. You're gonna have so much fun with your 'tives until your mum and dad come and get you. Won't that be nice?"
[Marty continued to cry as Leni started tearing up.]
Leni: "Like, when is he going to stop? I feel like I'm ready to cry soon."
[Luna pondered for a moment until something clicked.]
Luna: "Maybe a little song can help him settle down. Just put a hold on the waterworks, Leni."
[Luna rubbed her crying nephew's head again and rubbed her index finger through the baby's tuft of hair as she smiled sweetly at him.]
Luna: "Would you like your Aunt Luna to sing to you, little one?"
[Marty simply kept on crying as Luna gently rocked the car seat and sang a lullaby that lasted for a few minutes until Marty finally went to sleep. However, Leni was also affected by the singing and started to feel tired herself. The second-eldest Loud sibling pulled over to the side of the road and laid her head on the steering wheel before going to sleep. Luna looked down at the sleeping baby with a warm smile.]
Luna: "Looks like Luna Loud's still got it."
[As Marty was sleeping, Luna saw her sleeping sister and whispered as not to wake the baby up.]
Luna: "Yo, Leni! Wake up!"
[Leni woke up with a snort.]
Leni: "Wha- What? What happened?"
Luna: "You fell asleep at the wheel, Sis."
Leni: "Oh, sorry. Your singing is just really powerful. And you even got Marty to sleep. Thanks."
Luna: "Cheers, Leni. But just keep on driving, and please be careful not to doze off at the wheel again."
Leni: "You got it."
[With that, Leni slowly eased off the brake and continued on driving.]
Luna: I can't wait to get my driver's license this year. Hopefully by the end of Spring.
[Before long, they all had arrived at the Loud House. Leni got out of Vanzilla first before Luna followed while carrying Marty's car seat.]
Luna: "Here we are, Marty. The house where your mum grew up. Now let's go inside and see the rest of the 'tives."
[And with that, Leni and Luna walked over to the front door before Luna opened it. As soon as they entered the house, they were met by their parents, who beamed as they looked down at the baby.]
Rita: "Why hello there, Marty! How have you been?"
Lynn Sr.: "Hey there, kiddo. You're getting pretty big."
[Lynn Sr. lifted the carrier and put it on the living room table as his wife called out to the rest of the kids upstairs.]
Rita: "Kids, come downstairs! Marty is here!"
[With that, the remaining Loud kids and Ronnie Anne left their rooms and ran downstairs in excitement until they surrounded the baby with Lincoln following behind. Luan held her video camera in her hands as she wanted to catch her nephew on tape.]
Luan: "Heya, Marty! How about a smile for the camera?"
Lynn: "Hey there, Tiny! How are ya?"
[Lynn rubbed the baby's head as she said this.]
Lisa: "Greetings, male nibling, and welcome to our home."
Lana: "How do you like our digs, Marty?"
Lola: "Marty! Oh, Auntie Lola missed you so much!"
[Lola leaned over to give Marty a kiss on his left cheek and another on his right cheek, leaving lipstick marks on them.]
Lucy: "I cannot wait to show you some photos of your past relatives."
[The Loud sisters continued to gush at the baby while Lincoln struggled to get a good view of his nephew through the crowd.]
Lincoln: "Guys! A little room, please?"
[Just then, the kids stopped as they all heard a familiar whistle. They all turned to look at Rita, who managed to get their attention.]
Rita: "Everyone, I think we should all take turns with taking care of Marty for the day, at least one hour per person."
Lynn Sr.: "Your mother's right. That way, Marty will have time to get to know more about each and every one of his relatives and the new environment around him."
Rita: "And above all, I don't want to see or hear any roughhousing around the baby. He is very fragile. Understood?"
[The Loud kids and Ronnie Anne all looked at one another before nodding at Rita in agreement. The mother of eleven walked over to the baby carrier and lifted Marty out of it before cradling him in her arms.]
Rita: "And as your mother, I think I shall be the first one to spend some quality time with Marty. Then your father will go ahead right after I'm done."
[Rita then sat on the couch and started nuzzling her grandson. Lynn Sr. sat beside his wife and put his arm around her. He then began tickling Marty's tummy with his right hand, making the baby giggle.]
Lynn Sr.: "Wait 'till you see what your ol' granddad has in store for you, Marty."
Rita: "Ronnie Anne, since you've done so well in helping Lincoln and the girls around the house, you're going to be looking after them as they each have their turn with the baby, starting with Leni. Then, once Lily's turn is up, Marty is all yours."
Ronnie Anne: "You can count on me, Mrs. Loud. No problema."
Luna: "This is gonna be like the old days."
[As the Loud sisters kept staring at the baby, Lincoln turned to look at the readers.]
Lincoln: "Yep... I can tell that this is going to be a long day in the Loud House now that Marty is here."
Later, in the Parents' bedroom...
[Rita sat on the bed with Marty in her left arm as the woman showed him a novel she had been working on for some time. The plot of the novel was about a teen boy who goes through great lengths and braves many obstacles to take care of his girlfriend and their unborn child and protect them both from harm. The book was clearly inspired by the events that took place over the last year, with some creative liberties taken. Rita was just on the fifth page of the book before she spoke to her grandson.]
Rita: "I know you can't read just yet and I know you're into books with pictures, but when you're older, you'll understand how much your mommy and daddy worked and sacrificed to make sure you arrived in this world, with some help of course. Maybe someday, you could be a writer yourself?"
[Rita tapped her finger on her grandson's nose, making him smile and gurgle.]
Rita: "I'm not going to press it on you though, Marty. For now, you'll be grandma's little munchkin. Won't you?"
[And with that, Rita put the book down on the floor and rubbed her nose against Marty's, making the baby giggle as he put his hands on his grandmother's cheek.]
[At that moment, Rita's watch started beeping, indicating that her turn was up.]
Rita: "Alright, I think we better let your grandfather have his moment now. Come on, sweetie."
[And with that, Rita got off the bed, put Marty back in the car seat, and carried him into the kitchen where Lynn Sr. was making goulash for the whole family while humming a tune.]
Rita: "Honey, it's your turn to watch Marty now."
Lynn Sr.: "No problem, Rita. Just put him over by the kiddie table and I'll have my alarm set by lunchtime."
Rita: "I know that you will. And be sure to give him to Leni once your alarm goes off."
Lynn Sr.: "I got it handled."
[Rita set Marty's carrier by the kiddie table and gave her husband a kiss on the cheek before leaning over to kiss her grandson on his forehead.]
Rita: "You have fun with granddad, Honey."
[As soon as Rita was out of the room, Lynn Sr. looked down at his grandson with a smile on his face. He stopped cooking for a bit and walked over to Marty before rubbing the baby's head.]
Lynn Sr.: "Well, Marty, now that you're here, get ready to see your granddad in action."
[And with that, Lynn Sr. went back to cooking while Marty watched his grandfather with curiosity. At that moment, Charles came into the kitchen looking for food and noticed the unfamiliar baby by the kiddie table. The dog walked over to the baby, who noticed the dog approaching him. As Charles got close enough, he sniffed his face for a bit before licking it, making him giggle in delight. Lynn Sr. turned his head for a moment to see the sight before him before chuckling.]
Lynn Sr.: "I see you've finally met Marty, have you, Charles? Well, from the way this is going, I think you two are going to get along just fine."
[Lynn Sr. went back to cooking again as Marty played with Charles.]
A little later...
[The younger five Loud kids were seated at the kiddie table as they admired Marty while their father had just put lunch in the oven. Lynn Sr. decided to take that time to give Lori a call, so he took out his cell phone and speed-dialed the number to Lori's cell. Then, after a few beeps, the familiar voice of his eldest daughter answered on the other end.]
Lori: "Hi, Dad. How are things going over there?"
Lynn Sr.: "Everything is going smooth as silk, Honey. You should've seen Charles licking little Marty's face."
Lori: "Awww, Daddy! That is so adorable! Bobby and I wish we could be there to see this."
Lynn Sr.: "Thanks! I'm sure one of you will get a glimpse of it next time."
Lori: "Oh, is Marty with you? I want to let him know his mommy misses him."
Lynn Sr.: "Alright, Honey. I'll go put him on right now."
[Lynn Sr. walked over to Marty and got on one knee as he showed his cell phone to the baby.]
Lynn Sr.: "Your mom's on the phone, Marty. She wants to say hi to you. Say hi to mommy, kiddo."
[Marty gurgled as he saw his mother on the strange object.]
Lori: "Hi, Bumblebee. I hope you're having fun with grandma, grandpa, and all your aunts and uncles today."
[The younger five Loud sisters said hello to Lori well as their father aimed the phone around to them.]
Lily: "Hi, Lowi!"
Lisa: "Greetings, eldest sibling."
Lola: "Hello again, Lori!"
Lana: "Hey, big sis!"
Lucy: "I hope this day finds you well."
Lori: "Hi there, girls! I hope you're all taking good care of Marty."
[The five girls nodded in agreement while Lynn Sr. stood up straight before speaking to Lori on the phone again.]
Lynn Sr.: "Well, I better get back to making lunch now. You and Bobby keep on enjoying your relaxation time."
Lori: "Okay, Dad. Bobby and I are going to get ready to eat when we're done exercising. Take care."
Lynn Sr.: "You too, Honey. I love you. Bye."
[And with that, Lynn Sr. hung up.]
Some time later...
[The family had just finished their goulash lunch before Lynn Sr. got up to check on the rest of the kids. The moment he went into the kitchen, Lynn Sr. saw that Marty and Lily had both made a mess with their food at the kiddie table, which was due to another food fight with the younger Loud girls. The father of eleven sighed with a smile as he walked over to the table.]
Lynn Sr.: "Well, it looks like someone's in need of a bath. Two, as a matter of fact. Up we go now."
[Lynn Sr. took Lily and Marty out of their chair and carrier respectively before setting them on the kitchen counter for a bath. The patriarch of Louds then turned on the sink, filling it with warm water while the other four girls watched. Afterwards, Lynn Sr. undressed Lily before carefully putting her in the sink. Then he undid Marty's onesie and took off his diaper before putting him in the sink with his youngest aunt.]
[The rest of the Louds and Ronnie Anne came into the kitchen to see Lily and Marty splashing in the sink as the man of the Loud House bathed them both. Luan had her camera in hand as she filmed the adorable scene.]
Leni: "Awwww... Isn't that just precious?"
Lynn: "I know... It reminds me of myself and Lincoln back in the day."
[Ronnie Anne gave Lincoln and Lynn an odd look.]
Ronnie Anne: "You mean you both took a bath together?"
Lynn: "Ronnie Anne, we were only babies at the time! Well, I was two and Lincoln was no older than Marty. Is that a problem?"
[Ronnie Anne rolled her eyes.]
Lynn Sr.: "Could one of you kids give me a hand?"
Ronnie Anne: "I'll do it, Mr. Loud."
[Ronnie Anne walked over to the sink as she bathed Marty while Lynn Sr. continued doing the same for Lily. A few bubbles floated out of the sink as Marty watched them with wonder before one of them popped on Marty's nose, making him giggle in response.]
Luan: "Awww! Marty is such a bubbly little baby, isn't he?!"
[Luan laughed while the rest of her family groaned, as per the norm.]
Luan: "Get it?"
[When the bath was over, Lynn Sr. used a towel to dry both babies before dressing them back up.]
Lynn Sr.: "There we go, kids. You're both clean as a couple of whistles."
[Lynn Sr. then scooped the baby and toddler in his arms before his watch alarm went off.]
Lynn Sr.: "Well, I guess my time is up. Leni, you're up next."
[Lynn Sr. handed Marty over to Leni and the fashionista happily accepted her nephew before nuzzling him.]
Leni: "Yay! We are going to have so much fun together!"
Lynn Sr.: "Just be careful with Marty, okay? God only knows what Lori would do if something bad happened to him."
Leni: "Don't worry, Dad! I will be super careful with him."
[And with that, Leni left the kitchen with Marty. The first thing Leni did was take Marty up to her and Ronnie Anne's room while Ronnie Anne followed her with the baby bag in her hand, wanting to make sure that Leni didn't trip on the way there and potentially hurt the baby. The room was set up to be Marty's guest bedroom complete with Lily's old bassinet whenever he stayed with his relatives. Leni and Ronnie Anne looked down at the baby as he sucked on his pacifier.]
Leni: "Look at him, Ronnie Anne. Have you ever seen anything so cute?"
Ronnie Anne: "I've seen plenty of babies, Leni, but Marty is really sweet."
[As Leni went over to the closet, Marty looked up at Ronnie Anne before the Santiago girl tickled his chin, making him giggle.]
Ronnie Anne: "Woodle woodle woodle woodle. Oh, you are so adorable."
[Leni walked back over to Marty as she held a couple of magazines in her hands.]
Leni: "Hey, Marty! Would you like to look at my fashion magazines?"
Ronnie Anne: "I don't think he understands fashion yet, Leni."
[Leni opened one of the magazines and pointed at a certain page.]
Leni: "But look! This one has a category for babies. I think he'll totes like them."
[Leni and Ronnie Anne's banter was interrupted when Marty started crying and his pacifier fell in the bassinet.]
Ronnie Anne: "I better go see what's up with him. It must be his feeding time."
[Ronnie Anne looked down at the baby before she pinpointed the problem.]
Ronnie Anne: "Yep... He's definitely hungry. You have the bottle that Lori prepared for Marty?"
[Leni looked into the bag before finding the bottle in it.]
Leni: "Of course. It's in the bag. I just need to go downstairs and heat it up."
[With that, Leni took the bottle in one hand and held Marty in her other arm before leaving the room. She then went downstairs and into the kitchen before putting the bottle in the microwave and setting the timer for fifteen seconds.]
[After about fifteen seconds had passed, Leni opened the microwave and tried to take the bottle out of it, but it was too hot and she accidently dropped it after burning her hand.]
Leni: "Yeow!"
[The bottle hit the floor and its contents spilled all over it. Leni moaned in frustration as she looked down at the mess on the floor before cradling Marty.]
Leni: "Dang it! I am so sorry! I am such a klutz!"
[At that moment, Cliff then came into the kitchen and saw the milk on the floor. He tried to lick some of it, but the cat burned his tongue and ran out of the room.]
[Leni kept cradling her crying nephew, but he just wouldn't calm down due to him being hungry. Just then, the second-eldest Loud sibling started to ponder for a moment.]
Leni: Hang on... Why don't I do that breastfeeding thing? I've seen Mom do it, and I've seen Lori do it... So why should this be a huge deal? Hmmm? I wonder what that even feels like?
[And with that, Leni lowered the left straps of her dress and bra and exposed one of her breasts, allowing Marty to latch onto it and feed. Leni looked down at her nephew and smiled warmly as she nursed him.]
Leni: "Such a cutie. You like Aunt Leni's milk, don't you?"
[At that moment, Lincoln came into the kitchen.]
Lincoln: "Leni, have you seen myyyyyyy-I better come back later."
[Feeling quite embarrassed, Lincoln turned around and bolted out of the kitchen while Leni watched with confusion. The fashionista shrugged before she went back to feeding Marty.]
[At that moment, Leni's cell phone rang and the fashionista checked the caller ID before answering.]
Leni: "Hi, Lori. How are you doing?"
Lori: "Bobby and I are doing fine, Leni. I'm just calling to check in on Marty. How is he?"
Leni: "Oh, he's doing amazing! I just gave him his bottle and he's settled down for now."
Lori: "That's literally wonderful! But are you sure you can handle it from here? Bobby and I can come over and check on the baby if that's okay?"
Leni: "No, no, Lori! We totes have things under control. You and Bobby just enjoy your relaxation time."
Lori: "Alright, Leni. Be sure to get Marty ready for a nap. And don't forget, his next feeding is in 2-3 hours. I'll see you soon."
Leni: "Bye, Lori!"
[And with that, Lori hung up. By then, Marty had finished feeding, so Leni put the baby over her shoulder and gently patted his back. Marty let out a small burp and settled on his aunt's shoulder before he began sucking on his thumb. Leni smiled again as she held him close.]
Leni: "Awwww... I think I'm totes getting the hang of this. You are really super sweet, Marty."
[And with that, took Marty out of the kitchen and back to her and Ronnie Anne's room for a nap.]
Twenty minutes later, in Leni and Ronnie Anne's room...
[Shortly after the baby finished his short nap, Leni was now fitting Marty into a new outfit as Lincoln and Ronnie Anne helped out. The outfit was a bumblebee costume complete with a hoodie that had a cutesy face and antennae along with a pair of paper wings on the back.]
Leni: "So... How does he look?"
[Ronnie Anne and Lincoln inspected Marty's outfit before they both smiled.]
Lincoln: "I think it really fits him, Leni."
Ronnie Anne: "Yeah... I think you might've outdone yourself with this one."
Leni: "Aw, thanks!"
[Leni then took out her cell phone and took a picture with Marty in his costume.]
Leni: "I totes need to send this pic to Lori. She is going to love it!"
[And Leni sent the picture to Lori's phone before putting her own phone back in her dress. Leni then lifted Marty off the stool and went around the room while lifting the baby over her head and making buzzing noises, making it look like Marty was flying around like a bee. Ronnie Anne and Lincoln sat on the former's bed and smiled as they watched the young fashionista play with the baby while making sure she didn't end up dropping him or something along those lines.]
[At that moment, Leni's alarm went off, making the second-eldest Loud sibling stop in her tracks.]
Leni: "Awww... I was having fun."
[Then there was a knock on the door before Luna called out from behind it, having heard the alarm go off.]
Luna: "Look out, baby, cuz here I come!"
[Leni walked over to the door and opened it, allowing Luna to come in.]
Luna: "Hey, Leni! Now that your hour's up, how about letting me have a little Q-Time with the Little M?"
Leni: "Totes! We had so much fun together."
[Leni gave Marty over to her sister and the rocker Loud nuzzled the baby for a bit, making him coo.]
Luna: "That's a cute little outfit you got there, Marty. Did your Aunt Leni make that for you?"
[Leni nodded with a smile as she handed Luna the baby bag.]
Luna: "C'mon, Marty. Let's go check out my pad."
[With Marty in her left arm and while holding the baby bag in her right hand, Luna walked out of the room while Ronnie Anne and Lincoln followed her as Leni waved bye-bye to the baby.]
[Upon entering her and Luan's room, Luna handed the baby to Ronnie Anne before she got on the stage. A few minutes later, Luna was playing her acoustic guitar while singing an ABC song to the little baby. Ronnie Anne and Lincoln sat in bean bags in front of the stage as Marty sat on the Santiago tomboy's lap while Luan filled everything on tape.]
Luan: "Look at little Marty enjoying a swell performance from his Aunt Luna."
[Luan then got on her knees as she aimed the camera closer to Marty's face.]
Luan: "Would you like to say something to the camera, Marty?"
[Marty gurgled and opened his mouth before Luan moved the camera back.]
Luan: "No no no no, Marty. This camera's not for eating."
[Luan then aimed the camera at Ronnie Anne.]
Luan: "Is there anything you would like to say, Ronnie Anne?"
Ronnie Anne: "I think Luna's performance is great. Especially when it appeals to Marty."
[Ronnie Anne patted her nephew's head, making him smile and gurgle.]
[A few minutes after Luna's performance, Luan did one of her homemade comedy shows while Luna was on her drums at the far end of the stage. Lincoln was now holding the camera as Luan needed him to take over while she did her performance.]
Luan: "So here's a good one for you. Why shouldn't you expose yourself in front of potatoes? Because they have eyes!"
[Luan laughed, which was accompanied by a drum cue from Luna.]
Luna: "Well, someone had to do it."
[After a few seconds, Marty started crying again. Luan frowned as she looked over at her bawling nephew.]
Luan: "Yeesh. Everyone's a critic, even babies."
Luna: "Maybe, maybe not. I better go see what's eating him now."
[Luna got off the stage and walked over to Marty as Lincoln and Ronnie Anne held their noses.]
Ronnie Anne: "I think I might know why he's crying, Luna."
[The rocker then lifted the baby out of the carrier and started cradling him for a bit before she took a whiff of something that caused her to make a face.]
Luna: "Woah, dude... Smells like someone needs his nappy changed."
Luan: "Well, there's no need to make such a STINK about it!"
[Luan then rushed over to the drums and did the cue before laughing.]
Luan: "Get it?"
[Luna simply rolled her eyes as she took the crying baby out of the room while Luan took her camera from Lincoln and aimed it at Luna as she followed her while holding the baby bag as well. Upon exiting the room, the two teen Louds went down the hall and approached the door that led to Lisa and Lily's room. Luna knocked on it a few times until Lisa opened it and poked her head out the crack.]
Lisa: "How may I be of assistance?"
Luna: "We'd like to use your room for a few minutes. This little one needs his nappy changed."
Luan: "Yeah! Marty has been making a big STINK ever since he let loose."
[Luan laughed while her two sisters groaned.]
Luan: "Get it?"
Lisa: "Very well, third and fourth eldest siblings. You are both welcome to use the changing station for Martinez's sanitation process, and I shall observe you through the whole thing."
[And with that, Lisa allowed Luna and Luan to enter the room. Lily stood in her crib as she watched the two girls walk over to the changing table with Marty.]
[Luna set Marty on the table before undoing his onesie as the baby stopped crying. As soon as the rocker undid Marty's diaper, however, her shirt got sprayed on by her infant nephew's pee.]
Luna: "Awww, dude! Gross!"
[Luan laughed at the sight as she filmed the whole thing.]
Luan: "I gotta say, this moment was really a-pee-ing."
[Luan laughed again while Lisa and Luna groaned as usual.]
Luan: "Get it?"
[Almost immediately, the flower on Luan's shirt got sprayed on by more of Marty's tinkle. The comedienne let out an exasperated sigh as she put down the camera.]
Luan: "Okay... It's not funny anymore. Now I need to get my flower cleaned."
[Luan took off her squirt flower and started cleaning it off a little while Lisa gave her fourth-eldest sister an odd look for what she said.]
Lisa: "Uh... You might want to consider rephrasing that sentence."
Luan: "I know what I said, Lisa."
[Luna looked down at Marty with a smirk as did her comedic sister and roommate.]
Luna: "You are such a little troublemaker, aren't ya, Marty?"
[The baby just looked up at his aunts innocently as he put his foot in his mouth. Of course, Luna and Luan couldn't be mad at the little baby.]
Luna: "Alright. Let's just get you a fresh clean nappy. Then I need to go and put on a fresh clean shirt."
[At that moment, Luna's cell phone started ringing. She checked the caller ID before speaking to Luan.]
Luna: "I gotta take this call from Sam, Luan. You handle diaper duty until I come back."
Luan: "Doody! That's a good one, Luna!"
[Luan laughed and Luna sighed before answering her cell and leaving the room.]
Luna: "Yo, Sam! What's up? Oh not much. Just babysitting Marty at my house today."
[The moment Luna was out of the room, Luan took care of changing Marty's diaper. As soon as the mess was cleaned, Luan tossed the dirty diaper into the trash can. Next, she picked up the baby wipes and baby powder container before juggling them for a few seconds. She used some wipes to clean Marty's bottom regions before throwing them into the trash can, then she used the power on that very same spot. Finally, she got a fresh diaper and put it on Marty before picking the baby up and rubbing his nose against hers.]
Luan: "That oughta do it!"
[Lily laughed as she watched the whole thing from her crib while Luan put her nephew down for a moment.]
Lily: "Luan funny."
[Luan then juggled and reorganized the baby supplies before she spoke to Marty again.]
Luan: "It's all done, Marty. I guess you could say I've put on quite a pampered performance."
[Luan laughed as she lovingly tapped her index finger on Marty's nose.]
[At that moment, Luna came back into the room as she was finishing her call with Sam.]
Luna: "I better go now, Sam. You stay cool now. Love ya."
[With that, Luna hung up before turning her attention to Luan.]
Luna: "So how was the diaper change?"
Luan: "Oh, I thought my time with Marty was simply to diaper for."
[Once again, Luan laughed, much to the annoyance of her sisters.]
Luan: "Get it?"
[At that moment, Luna's alarm went off.]
Luna: "Looks like my gig is about over. You better take over from here now, Luan."
Luan: "Okey-dokey, Luna."
[Luan scooped Marty in her left arm and grabbed her camera before leaving the room as Luna followed behind. As soon as they entered her room, Luan put Marty in the baby carrier before looking down at him as she put the camera down on the floor as it faced the baby.]
Luan: "So, Marty, how would you like to meet a friend of mine?"
[Marty simply looked up at his comedienne aunt with curiosity.]
Luan: "I'll take that as a yes."
[Luan then walked over to Mr. Coconuts' case before opening it and taking the puppet out. Then she got him ready for his introduction.]
Luan (As Mr. Coconuts): "What your aunt means to say is, wood you like me as a friend?"
[Luan laughed as Mr. Coconuts before Marty started crying in fear, making her comedienne aunt stop and frown with concern.]
Ronnie Anne: "Luan, stop it! You're scaring the baby!"
[Luan sighed before looking at Mr. Coconuts.]
Luan: "I don't think my nephew's quite ready for you, Mr. C."
Luan (As Mr. Coconuts): "Aw, wood shucks! Maybe next time. Hopefully the tatter tot doesn't take too long, Toots."
[With that, Luan put Mr. Coconuts back in his case. Afterwards, Luan got on her knees and started making some funny faces to calm the baby down, which seemed to work a little, but the baby was still distressed from seeing the puppet.]
[Just then, Luan saw her pet bunny Gary roaming around the room as Luna took a few steps back while covering her mouth.]
Luan: "Hey, Gary! You want to see my nephew?"
[The bunny looked up at his caretaker before looking over at the crying baby. Then Gary went over to Marty and started sniffing him for a bit before getting on the baby's lap and resting there. Marty stopped crying and looked at the bunny, then he put his hands on Gary's soft fur and started rubbing it as he cooed. Luan, Luna, Lincoln, and Ronnie Anne let out a collective "Awwww!" as they saw this going on.]
Luan: "Ooooooh, that is so cute! There's no way I'm about to pass up such fluff!"
[Luan laughed while Luna, Lincoln, and Ronnie Anne sighed.]
Luan: "Get it?"
[Luan picked up the camera and aimed it at Marty and Gary, wanting to get a better view of the scene.]
Luna: "It's a good thing Marty ain't allergic like me."
[At that moment, Luna's cell phone rang again. She checked the caller ID to see that it was Lori before answering the call.]
Luna: "What up, Lori?"
Lori: "Hi, Luna. I'm just checking to see how Marty's is doing."
Luna: "Everything's a-okay, Lori. Luan and I are just showin' Marty around our room. He's playing with Luan's bunny right now."
Lori: "Is he? Awww, that is literally so cute."
Luna: "Don't I know it? In fact, Luan has it all on tape right now."
Lori: "That's wonderful! You think I can catch a glimpse of that?"
Luna: "You got it, Sis."
[Luna put Lori on hold and handed the phone to Ronnie Anne.]
Luna: "You mind showing Lori for me, R.A.? I don't want my allergies to flare up."
Ronnie Anne: "You got it, Luna."
[Ronnie Anne took the phone and walked over to Marty before aiming the phone at the baby, allowing Lori to see the moment before her.]
Lori: "Awwww! That is so sweet. Bobby, look at this!"
[Bobby let out a small chuckle as he looked at his son with the rabbit.]
Bobby: "I definitely see it, Babe. You guys are doing really well."
Ronnie Anne: "Don't I know it, Bobby."
[After about a minute, Ronnie Anne walked back to Luna and returned the phone to her before the rocker spoke.]
Luna: "Quite a display, wasn't it? Anyways, don't you worry about Marty. We'll catch you and Bobsled later. Bye."
Lori: "Okay, bye."
[And with that, Luna hung up before putting the phone back in her skirt pocket.]
Luan: "I heard you mention Gary to her. I really appreciate that, and so does Gary."
Luna: "Cheers."
[Just then, Luan's watch alarm went off.]
Luan: "Well, I guess my time has come and gone."
[Luan laughed and Luna groaned.]
Luan: "Get it?"
[Marty, being the carefree baby he was, simply blew a raspberry to no one in particular.]
Luna: "You said it, baby dude."
Luan: "But seriously, I better give Marty to Lynn now."
[Luan leaned down and lifted the car seat off the floor with Marty in it. Gary jumped off the carrier just before Luan lifted it.]
Luna: "You do that, Luan. I just hope she won't be too rough with him."
[Luan nodded before she took Marty out of the room.]
Later, in Lynn and Lucy's room...
[Lynn was bouncing a tennis ball on the floor while Marty watched on in his car seat without taking his eyes off the ball.]
Lynn: "As you can see, Tiny, your Aunt Lynn's still got what it takes despite some... limitations."
[Lynn then handed the ball to Marty before putting him and the carrier on her bed as it faced the wall.]
Lynn: "Why don't we see if you can throw at the wall? C'mon! Give it the old curveball, kiddo!"
[Marty looked at the ball in his hands and then threw it as hard as he could. Since Marty was a little over a month old, his throw wasn't very strong as the ball dropped to the bed as soon as threw it. Lynn simply let out a chuckle as she rubbed the baby's head.]
Lynn: "That's a good throw there, Squirt. With a little more time and a little more practice, you could be in the Big Leagues one day."
[Marty looked up at his aunt before reaching out to her.]
Lynn: "You want uppies, don'tcha? Alright, up we go!"
[Lynn lifted Marty out of the carrier before sitting on the bed and taking off her shoes. She then laid on her back before lifting Marty up and down with her feet as the baby squealed with delight.]
Lynn: "Reach for the stars, Slugger!"
[After a few more lifts, Marty got sick and threw up on Lynn's jersey before giggling as the jock cringed.]
Lynn: "Ehhh... I think that's enough uppies from me for one day. How about a little horsey ride instead?"
[Marty giggled again in response.]
Lynn: "You got it, kid."
[Lynn put her shoes back on, got down on the floor, and put Marty on her back as she held the baby to keep him from falling off of her.]
Lynn: "Used to do this with your Uncle Lincoln years ago. Hang on tight, cowboy!"
[With that, Lynn and Marty left the room as the athlete ran around the hallway while holding the baby on her back. Marty squealed again as he rode on her Aunt Lynn like a horse while Luan poked her head out her bedroom door and smiled as she filmed the whole thing on camera.]
Luan: "Ooh, this one's a keeper! Lynn Loud, Marty the Kid's noble steed!"
[After some time, Lynn felt exhausted and collapsed on the floor right in front of Luna and Luan's bedroom door while Marty giggled as he sat on his athletic aunt's back.]
Luan: "Looks like Aunt Lynn goes boom again. The steed is done!"
[Lynn slowly turned her head towards her older sister and glared at her with embarrassment as the comedienne laughed.]
Lynn: "Luan, I swear... If you post that video online, I'm gonna-"
[Before Lynn could finish that threat, her watch started going off.]
Lynn: "Welp, times up! C'mon, kid. Let's go pay your Uncle Lincoln a visit."
[Lynn got off the floor and walked towards Lincoln's room with Marty on her back.]
[Lucy poked her head out through her and Lynn's bedroom door as she watched her sister and roommate walk towards the boy's room with the baby.]
Lucy: "My time will come soon."
[And with that, Lucy slowly crept back into her room and shut the door.]
[Lincoln was in his room reading an Ace Savvy comic book in his underwear and socks when Lynn burst in with Marty in her arms, startling the white-haired boy.]
Lynn: "Your turn to watch the baby, Stinkoln!"
Lincoln: "Lynn! Don't do that!"
Lynn: "Jeez, I thought you'd be happy to see your nephew."
Lincoln: "Of course I am, but you didn't have to kick the door down. You might scare Marty."
[Lynn looked back at the baby before speaking to Lincoln again.]
Lynn: "Right. But anyway, he's all yours. Just be careful with him, will ya?"
[Lynn set Marty beside Lincoln on the bed before leaving the room. Immediately, Lincoln started rubbing his nephew's tummy, making him giggle.]
Lincoln: "You really like that, don't you, Marty? We'll show your Aunt Lynn that I'm careful with you."
[Just then, Marty noticed Bun-Bun on the bed and reached out to it. Lincoln saw this and quickly took the stuffed rabbit in his arms.]
Lincoln: "No, Marty. Bun-Bun is not for you. Nah-uh."
[Marty started crying loudly, which caused Lincoln to worry as he dropped Bun-Bun and covered his own ears.]
Lincoln: "Okay, shh-shh-shh, calm down, Marty. Let me just go get you your bear. That'll make you feel better. Wait right here!"
[Lincoln got off the bed and left the room for a few moments before returning with Blue Bear in his hand. Lincoln then spoke in a falsetto voice as he showed the bear to Marty.]
Lincoln: "Hey there, Marty. I missed you so very much. Won't you play with me? I'll make you all better."
[Marty stopped crying and reached out for Blue Bear as Lincoln smiled. Lincoln gave the bear to Marty and the Santiago baby happily cooed in acceptance as he began to cuddle with the toy. Seeing this display took Lincoln back to when he first got Bun-Bun as a baby, so much so that it brought a tear to his eye as he held the stuffed rabbit in his arms.]
Lincoln: "I guess we're like plush buddies now."
[Lincoln wiped the tear from his cheek and spoke to Marty again.]
Lincoln: "There I go again, getting all emotional over past memories."
[Suddenly, Lincoln's alarm went off. But it was too early for his turn to end, which could only mean something else.]
Lincoln: "Oh, look! It's time for the new episode of ARGGH!."
[After putting Bun-Bun down, Lincoln got off the bed, put his shirt, pants, and shoes on and then turned around to look at Marty.]
Lincoln: "Come on, Marty. Let's go get Ronnie Anne so she can watch you while I watch my show."
[Lincoln scooped Marty in his arms and picked up the stuffed bear before leaving the room.]
Later, in the living room...
[Lincoln sat on the couch watching ARGGH! while holding Marty in his arms as Ronnie Anne sat beside the white-haired boy watching him and the baby. The Loud boy also held his hand over Marty and wiggled his fingers over him, giving the baby something to keep him busy as his uncle watched his show.]
Lincoln: "I know your grandma said that you're not old enough to watch TV yet, but someday when you're bigger, you'll take an interest in ghost hunting?"
[The baby paid Lincoln no mind as he grabbed the boy's index finger and started nibbling on it. Lincoln smiled as he felt his finger getting slobbered on.]
Lincoln: "I'll take that as a maybe."
[Lincoln kept his eyes glued to the TV until the first commercial break. Ronnie Anne took that time to talk to Lincoln.]
Ronnie Anne: "You know, Lincoln, I never really believed the effects used on this show. It just seems so fake."
Lincoln: "Well, I wouldn't be too sure about that, Ronnie Anne. I think I've actually encountered a ghost at the house of a groundskeeper one time."
Ronnie Anne: "All the same, ghost hunting isn't my thing. No offense or anything."
Lincoln: "None taken. Just don't let Clyde hear what you said about the effects."
[Ronnie Anne scooted closer to Lincoln before answering him.]
Ronnie Anne: "Alright. But whatever Marty decides to do with his future won't stop me from loving him. Isn't that right, Martinez?"
[And with that, Ronnie Anne wiggled her fingers over Marty as the baby playfully swatted them with his tiny hands, then she lowered her hand and started tickling Marty's tummy as the baby giggled. Lincoln smiled as he watched his female friend's display of affection.]
[Just then, Clyde came in through the front door of the house followed by Deidre as the McBride boy immediately turned his attention to his two friends..]
Clyde: "Hey, Lincoln! Hey, Ronnie Anne! Sorry I'm late."
Lincoln: "It's alright, Clyde. You can still catch the rest of the show."
[As Clyde walked over to the couch, Deidre spoke next.]
Deidre: "How's it goin', L.A. and R.A.? You know where your mom is?"
Rita: "I'm in the dining room, Deidre!"
Deidre: "Okay, girl! I'm comin' in!"
[And with that, Deidre went into the dining room to chat with Rita just as her son sat beside his best friend on the couch. Clyde then turned his attention to the baby in Lincoln's arms before patting his head while Rita and Deidre chatted at the dining room table.]
Clyde: "Hey there, Marty. How are you today?"
[Marty looked up at Clyde and giggled as the McBride boy made some funny faces at him. Ronnie Anne let out a chuckle as she watched Clyde play with her nephew until the commercial break ended.]
[As Lincoln and Clyde watched their show, Rita came into the living room with a baby bottle in her hand, which meant that it was time to feed Marty again.]
Rita: "Now make sure you support the baby's neck while feeding him, honey."
Lincoln: "Alright, Mom."
Rita: "And remember to keep his eyes away from the screen. I don't want his little eyes to be hurt by the brightness, and I'm sure that Lori would agree with me."
Lincoln: "I know, Mom."
[Rita gave her son the bottle and her grandson a kiss on the forehead before heading back to the dining room. Lincoln in turn gave the bottle to his nephew before the baby started sucking its contents as Clyde and Ronnie Anne looked down at the baby with warm smiles on their faces.]
Lincoln: "So, how are things with your mother, Clyde?"
Clyde: "Oh! They're still going smoothly, Lincoln. She wanted to escort me to your house today, and my dads gave her permission to do so."
Lincoln: "That's nice."
[Lincoln tilted the bottle for a moment, allowing Marty to breathe before feeding again.]
Lincoln: "Speaking of which, what about her and your dad Howard?"
Clyde: "Things between them are slowly improving. Dad Two is getting used to me having my mom back in my life, but he's still showing small signs of distrust."
Lincoln: "I see. By the way, how are you and Haiku doing? We hardly hear anything going on between you two these days."
Clyde: "Oh..."
[Clyde rubbed his arm for a moment before answering Lincoln as the white-haired boy tilted the bottle again.]
Clyde: "Well... To be honest, Haiku and I decided to end things between us."
[Lincoln frowned when he heard the news as Marty resumed eating the contents from the bottle.]
Lincoln: "Really? Oh man... I'm sorry to hear that. What happened?"
Clyde: "Nothing, really. It was a mutual breakup. We both thought it best to part ways as friends. She's seeing this boy named Silas now, and I'm happy for her."
Lincoln: "Oh, okay then. Glad you were being mature about it."
Ronnie Anne: "Still, we're sorry it didn't work out for you. You and Haiku have been dating since you've gotten over Lori. In fact, she was the one who helped you get over Lori in the first place."
Clyde: "It's fine, Ronnie Anne. We both handled it maturely and thoughtfully."
Lincoln: "All the same, I hope you find someone else."
Clyde: "Maybe I will eventually, but right now, I just want to focus on my life as well as my time with Mom."
Lincoln: "That's good to know."
[At that moment, Marty had finished his bottle. Lincoln then put the baby over his shoulder and gently patted him on the back. Marty let out a small burp before settling on his uncle's shoulder with a sigh.]
Clyde: "Awwww..."
[Ronnie Anne chuckled as she gently rubbed Marty's head.]
Ronnie Anne: "That was a good one. I wonder if he can beat me at a burping contest someday?"
Lincoln: "It might be possible. Lily has done the same thing to me. Then again, my sisters and I tend to turn everything into a competition."
[Ronnie Anne laughed in response.]
[Just then, Lincoln's alarm went off.]
Lincoln: "Well, I guess my time is up now. We better see if Aunt Lucy wants to see you."
Lucy: "Of course I do."
[Lincoln, Ronnie Anne, and Clyde were startled by the goth Loud sister's sudden appearance behind the couch, so much so that Marty then started crying due to being disturbed.]
Ronnie Anne: "That's just great, Lucy. You made Marty cry."
Lucy: "Sigh... I guess it's up to me to lull him back to sleep."
Lincoln: "I'll help you, Lucy. It was kind of my fault as well. I'll catch the rest of this episode some other time."
[Lucy smiled as Lincoln stood up and handed the crying baby to her. Lucy started cradling Marty and started carrying him up the stairs while Lincoln got off the couch and walked beside his younger sister. Ronnie Anne got off the couch as well and followed Lincoln up the stairs while Clyde remained where he was as he wanted to watch the rest of the episode and tell Lincoln how it ends in case he missed it.]
[The three kids went into Leni and Ronnie Anne's room as Marty continued to cry in Lucy's arms. The young goth walked over to the bassinet and put Marty in it.]
Lincoln: "Try entertaining him with his Blue Bear. He likes that."
Lucy: "I'm not sure if it'll work, but it's worth a shot."
[Lincoln handed the bear to Lucy and the goth started hovering it over Marty before having it dance on him. The baby stared at the toy for a few minutes before he fluttered his eyes. Lucy happily gave the bear to Marty and the minute he snuggled with the toy, he closed his eyes and fell back asleep.]
[Lucy rubbed her fingers on Marty's head as the baby was still asleep.]
Lucy: "You're okay now, little one. Your Blue Bear will protect you like a dreamcatcher."
[Lincoln smiled before putting his arm around his gothic sister.]
Lincoln: "You're a real natural, Lucy."
Lucy: "Thanks, Lincoln."
Ronnie Anne: "You better get back to your show now, Lame-O. I'll see to it that Lucy is careful with Marty."
Lincoln: "I really appreciate it, Ronnie Anne. Thanks."
[And with that, Lincoln walked out of the room and shut the door as carefully as he could to keep any outside noise from disturbing Marty. Upon walking halfway down the hall and heading right down the stairs, Lincoln returned to the couch and sat next to Clyde again.]
Lincoln: "What did I miss, Clyde?"
Clyde: "Not much, Lincoln. Hunter is about to search the attic for the ghost."
Lincoln: "Thanks for the info, Clyde."
[At that moment, Lincoln felt his phone vibrating in his left pocket. Lincoln took the phone out and checked the caller ID to see that Lori was calling. He then answered the call and put the phone to his ear as he kept his eyes glued to the TV screen.]
Lincoln: "Hey there, Lori. How are you and Bobby doing?"
Lori: "Hey, Lincoln. I'm just calling to see how Marty is doing, again."
Lincoln: "He's fine. We just put him down for a nap in Leni and Ronnie Anne's room. Lucy's going to be watching him right after he wakes up."
Lori: "That's good to know, Lincoln. But..."
Lincoln: "But what?"
Lori: "Are you sure you don't need me and Bobby to come over and check on him? I literally worry about my baby."
Lincoln: "No, that won't be necessary. You and Bobby just relax. We have it all handled on our end."
Lori: "Alright, Linky. Just making sure everything was alright. You take care now, and tell Marty I love him."
Lincoln: "Thanks. And tell Bobby I said hi. Bye now."
[With that, Lincoln hung up and put the phone back in his pocket as he continued to watch ARGGH! with Clyde until the episode came to an end. By that time, Deidre walked out of the dining room before heading for the front door.]
Deidre: "Alright, Clyde. It's time for us to go before your dads start worrying about you."
Clyde: "I better get going now, Lincoln. You and your family take care with Marty."
Lincoln: "We will, Clyde, and thanks for the visit."
[And with that, Clyde got off the couch and followed his mother out the door. Lincoln got off the couch as well before heading up the stairs and making a right turn to his bedroom.]
Later, in Lynn and Lucy's room...
[Lucy entered the room with Marty in her arms as Lynn was laying on her own bed doing leg exercises. Marty was holding his Blue Bear in his hands as his Aunt Lucy held him close. Lucy walked over to her bed and put Marty on it before she joined him. The goth then set her nephew on her lap before picking up a photobook that sat beside her on the bed. Then she opened the book and showed the baby an old-time picture of a woman who looks similar to the gothic Loud. As Lynn continued exercising, she looked over at her sister and roommate as she watched her bond with the baby.]
Lucy: "This here is your great-great-grandmother Harriet. She's in a better place, but maybe someday I can perform a séance so you can see her spirit."
Lynn: "Uh, Lucy? You sure seeing great-grandma's ghost won't freak the poor kid out?"
Lucy: "I guess we'll have to wait and see sometime in the future."
[Lucy then turned the page to another old picture, which was of a man similar in appearance to Lynn Sr..]
Lucy: "And this is your great-great-great-grandfather Lynwood Loud. He was one of the first makers of automobiles along with Henry Ford."
[Just then, a bat squeaked and flew into the room before perching itself on Lucy's head as the baby stared at the mammal with curiosity.]
Lucy: "This here is my companion, Fangs. There's no need to fear him, for he is quite harmless."
Lynn: "I wouldn't be too sure about that, Luce. Trust me, I know from experience."
Lucy: "If you're referring to that time Fangs bit you, that was because you scared him."
[Before Lynn could argue any further, Lucy's watch alarm went off.]
Lucy: "Sigh. My time has come to an end. And now the time has come for your twin aunts to see you. I sincerely hope that they won't be too rambunctious."
[Lucy got off the bed, scooped Marty in her arms, and carried him out of the room.]
[Ronnie Anne was walking around the hallway when she saw Lucy leave her room with Marty. The gothic Loud girl walked over to the twins' bedroom door before knocking on it.]
[The door opened after a few seconds and there was Lola with a grin on her face as she looked at Marty. Lucy opened her mouth to speak, but the pageant queen spoke first.]
Lola: "Say no more, Lucy! Lana and I will take this little munchkin off your hands for the hour."
[Lola walked over to Marty before speaking to him in baby talk.]
Lola: "Yes we will. Oh yes we will."
[Lola made her kissy face as she pinched the baby's right cheek while Lucy smiled at the sight.]
Lucy: "Much obliged, Lola. Just don't forget his Blue Bear."
[Lucy gave the bear to Marty and the baby hugged it.]
Lola: "Not a problem, Lucy."
Lucy: "And please don't get into another one of your twin fights. Our nephew might not like it."
Lola: "I'll try, but no promises."
[Lucy handed Marty over to Lola and the third-youngest Loud sibling took the baby into the room before shutting the door.]
Lucy: "Sigh. That's just what I am afraid of."
[And with that, Lucy walked back to her and Lynn's room while Ronnie Anne approached the door to the twins' room and leaned against the wall beside it, making sure that everything went smoothly.]
A little later, in Lana and Lola's room...
[Marty was sitting at Lola's little table wearing makeup and a little black bowtie as the third youngest Loud sibling was hosting a tea party with some of her dolls and stuffed animals along with Marty's Blue Bear.]
Lola: "Would you like some tea, Lord Martingham?"
[The baby just looked at the liquid coming from the kettle into the cup in front of him before looking at his aunt.]
Lola: "It's made fresh."
[Just then, Lana walked over to her twin.]
Lana: "Marty doesn't want a tea party, Lola! And he doesn't need to be wearing makeup either! He should be playing in the mud like a real boy should!"
Lola: "No he shouldn't! Who knows what kind of gross stuff you've caught outside!"
Lana: "Says the girl who takes mud baths!"
Lola: "That is called a manicure and it is good for my skin, you philistine!"
[The twins bickered for a few seconds until Marty started crying, making them stop and turn their attention to the wailing baby. He seems to really hate it when his relatives argue.]
Lola: "Oh, now look at what you did! How are we going to get him to stop crying?!"
Lana: "What do you mean we? You're the one who started this, Lola! YOU get him to settle down!"
[Lola growled, but she knew that arguing about this with Lana was going to get neither of them anywhere, so the young pageant queen sighed as she picked up her bawling nephew and started rocking him.]
Lola: "Aw, it's okay, Marty-kins. We didn't mean it. Auntie Lola will make it all better... somehow."
[Lola then took Blue Bear and gave it to Marty in the hopes of calming him down, but the baby continued to bawl.]
Lana: "Hey! Why not take him for a ride in the Lola-mobile? That'll calm him down."
[Lola perked up when she heard what her older twin just said.]
Lola: "That's a great idea, Lana! I'm so glad I thought of it."
[Lana gave off a look that read "Oh brother." as she watched her twin leave the room with Marty and Blue Bear.]
Lana: "And be sure to stay in the backyard!"
Lola: "Thought of that too!"
[Lana sighed.]
Later, in the backyard...
[Later, Lola was driving around the backyard in her princess car with Marty sitting beside her in his car seat as the baby continued to cry loudly while holding Blue Bear close. Lola groaned as her nephew's wailing was taking a toll on her.]
Lola: "Please... What is it going to take for you to stop crying? You're wearing your Auntie Lola out!"
[Just then, Mr. Grouse called out from his bedroom window.]
Mr. Grouse: "Nice driving skills, Loud! Can't you just take the little tyke back inside and calm him down already?!"
Lola: "I am not in the mood for this, Grouse! Aunthood is no walk in the park!"
[Not having the time to bother with Lola any further, Mr. Grouse grumbled before shutting his window.]
[Marty's crying continued on for 15 minutes until the baby finally settled down, much to Lola's relief as she slowly brought the car to a stop.]
Lola: "Ah... Finally..."
[Lola rested her head on the steering wheel in exhaustion and fell asleep. After a few seconds, Lola woke up as her watch alarm went off.]
Lola: "I-I'm up! I'm up! I'm up..."
[Still feeling very exhausted, Lola got out of the princess car and carefully took Marty back into the house. However, Lola was so tired that she didn't see Blue Bear fall out of the car and land on the ground while she was driving around. Marty had accidentally dropped the toy while he was still crying.]
Later, in Lola and Lana's room...
[Lana waited in her room for her twin to return with Marty as she watched Izzy through the lizard tank. Finally, an exhausted Lola lumbered into the room with Marty in his car seat as Lana turned her head to look at them.]
Lana: "Boy, you look like a wreck."
[Lola then approached Lana and handed the baby over to her.]
Lola: "He's all yours, Lana. I need a lot of beauty rest after all that driving around and I really don't want to be disturbed."
[And with that, Lola walked over to her bed and jumped on it before passing out. Lana then looked down at Marty with a smile as she lifted him out of the carrier.]
Lana: "Well, I think it's about time for a little fun of our own, wouldn't ya say?"
[Lana lovingly rubbed her nephew's head as the baby cooed.]
Lana: "Now how about we start by meeting a few friends of mine?"
[Lana put Marty back in the carrier before taking off her cap to reveal Hops, who had been hiding under it.]
Lana: "This is my frog, Hops, and he is my best friend in the whole wide world. Show Marty what you can do, Hops."
[Marty looked up at the green creature for a few moments until he let out a ribbit and started hopping around the room for a few moments, much to the baby's curiosity. Once Hops finally went into the front pocket of Lana's overalls, the young mechanic walked over to the lizard tank and took Izzy out of it before putting him on her shoulder.]
Lana: "And this here is my lizard, Izzy. I'd show you El Diablo, but your mom might wig out if she found out that I did. He won't hurt you, though."
[Marty simply looked up at the smaller green creature before Geo rolled over to the baby in his ball and bumped into his carrier before staring up at him.]
Lana: "Oh, Geo. I see you've met Marty. He's a cute little guy, isn't he? Just let me give you a closer look."
[Lana picked up Geo's ball and put him on Marty's lap as the hamster looked up at the baby. Marty then put his hands on the ball and gurgled as he eyed the small animal. Geo then rolled off the carrier and out of the room, scared of what the baby might do to him.]
[Marty watched the hamster leave and started crying again. Lana picked up her wailing nephew and held him while Lola groaned as she grabbed a pillow and put it over her head in an attempt to drown out the shrill noise.]
Lola: "Could you take Marty outside or something, please? His crying is giving me a headache."
Lana: "Why don't we go outside for a bit, Marty? There's a lot I need to teach you about mud pies."
[Lana lifted the carrier and took Marty out of the room as Hops and Izzy rode with her. Walt also flew right after Lana, curious about the new arrival in the carrier.]
Later, in the backyard...
[Lana was showing Marty how to make mud pies as Hops hopped around the area and Izzy sat on his caretaker's shoulder. Walt had also perched himself on top of the car seat as he looked down at Marty.]
Lana: "What do you think of this? I say this is a work of art."
[Lana then handed the mud pie to Marty, and the baby took it in his hands.]
Lana: "Maybe someday, I can teach you how to make your own."
[Marty then threw the mud pie at Lana's face. Lynn, who was playing fetch with Charles by the doghouse, laughed with glee when she caught a glimpse of what happened.]
Lynn: "Your throw's getting a little better there, Squirt! Keep up the good work!"
[Lana chuckled at her nephew before smearing the mud all over her face.]
Lana: "Better watch out, Marty, or the mud monster's gonna come and tickle you!"
[And just like that, Lana did a playful roar and started tickling Marty's sides, making the baby squeal in delight. As all this was going on, Charles took Blue Bear and put it in one of Lucy's recently dug up holes before burying it.]
[At that moment, Lana's watch alarm went off.]
Lana: "Well, I think my shift is over. Let's get you bathed again so you can go see your Aunt Lisa."
[And with that, Lana lifted the car seat with Marty in it and went back in the house.]
Lana: "I just hope that Aunt Lisa doesn't do anything harmful to you in any way, what with all of her experiments and junk."
Later, in Lisa and Lily's room...
[Marty laid on the changing table with EKG stickers on his head as the second-youngest Loud sibling monitored him while holding a clipboard and pencil in her hands. The stickers had wires that were connected to a machine that tested the baby's brainwaves. Lily stood in her crib as she was watching the whole thing, curious on what was going on.]
Lisa: "It appears that everything is in order, Martinez. Much like the average infant, it'll take some more time for your mind to fully develop."
Lily: "Lily wanna play with Marty!"
Lisa: "Your turn will come soon enough, younger sibling. But my alarm hasn't gone off yet, so you will just have to be patient. And if you are wondering what this is, I am working on a computerized baby translator that will help us understand an infant's needs, but I will need enough valuable information for it to be possible."
Lily: "Awww... Okay, Lisa."
Lisa: "With this invention, the average parental unit will no longer have to keep pondering until they find what troubles their progeny. It'll revolutionize parenthood for the future!"
Lily: "Oooooooo!"
Lisa: "But of course, as with all revolutionary discoveries, it'll take years at most to reach that goal."
[Just then, Lisa heard her watch alarm go off.]
Lisa: "Oh, nertz. It appears that my limited time with my nephew is just about up now. We shall continue this research at a later date."
[With that, Lisa removed the stickers from Marty's head before lifting him up and putting him in Lily's crib.]
Lisa: "Martinez is all yours now, Lily, provided that I observe your interactions with him, of course."
[And with that, Lisa walked over to her bed and sat on it as she watched her youngest sister and nephew. Lily walked over to Marty and looked down at him.]
Lily: "Hello, Marty. Watch me cartwheel."
[And with that, Lily did a cartwheel on the crib, making the baby giggle with delight as Lily giggled with him. Lily then crawled over to Marty again and started tickling his tummy with both hands, making him giggle even more.]
[Lisa smiled as she continued to watch.]
Lisa: "Now this is a wholesome sight if I have ever seen one."
[Lisa then let out a sigh.]
Lisa: "Alas, infanthood goes by so fast."
[Just then, Marty yawned before his eyes fluttered.]
Lisa: "It appears that somebody is in need of a power nap."
[Lily then let out a yawn herself.]
Lily: "Lily tired too, Lisa."
Lisa: "Very well then, younger sibling."
[Lisa stretched her arms and yawned.]
Lisa: "I will let you and Martinez rest here. I'm feeling a little exhausted myself from all this yawning."
[And with that, Lily closed her eyes and snuggled up to her nephew. Lisa looked over at the adorable sight.]
Lisa: "I know I am impervious to wholesome moments, but..."
[Lisa looked left and right for a moment before letting out a quiet squeal.]
Lisa: "This is nothing short... of... wholesome."
[And with that, Lisa laid down in her bed before closing her eyes and going to sleep.]
[At that moment, Luan came into the room with her camera in hand before focusing it on her youngest sister and infant nephew.]
Luan: "I am definitely putting this in my Marty Memories collection."
[Lisa mumbled in her sleep upon hearing what Luan said.]
Lisa: "You are welcome to do so, fourth-eldest sibling, as long as you do not disturb them... or me."
[Luan nodded before leaving the room and quietly shutting the door.]
[At that moment, the door opened slowly and Ronnie Anne came into the room before walking over to the sleeping genius. The Santiago girl whispered to Lisa to avoid disturbing Marty and Lily.]
Ronnie Anne: "Hey, Lisa. Have you seen Marty's stuffed bear anywhere?"
[Lisa mumbled again.]
Lisa: "Negative. Last time I saw the stuffed animal, Lola took it with her along with Marty outside."
[With a suspicious look on her face, Ronnie Anne left the room before knocking on Lana and Lola's door. After a few seconds, Lola opened the door, having just got up from her nap.]
Lola: "Hey, Ronnie Anne. What's going on now?"
Ronnie Anne: "Lola, do you by any chance know what happened to Marty's Blue Bear?"
Lola: "What do you mean by that?"
Ronnie Anne: "Lisa said that you had it with you along with Marty. So where is it?"
Lola: "Oh..."
[Lola bit her lower lip and rubbed her arm as she nervously answered.]
Lola: "Well... I DID have it... but, I might have... sort have... misplaced it? Tee-hee?"
[Lola gave off a nervous smile as Ronnie Anne's face turned to anger.]
Ronnie Anne: "You lost Marty's Blue Bear?!"
[At that moment, the sounds of Marty wailing came from Lisa and Lily's room, which was soon followed by the crying of Lily, having been disturbed by her nephew's bawling.]
[The rest of the Loud siblings came out of their rooms and surrounded Lola, having heard what Ronnie Anne just shouted out. Lisa looked exhausted due to having been woken up by the cries of her nephew and younger sister.]
Lola: "Well, how was I supposed to know where it went?! I drove around the backyard for 15 minutes and it was exhausting!"
Luna: "Oh man! Lori is going to be so pissed if she finds out we lost the bear!"
Lisa: "Not to mention the fact that the stuffed bear used to belong to Lori as well."
Leni: "Poor Marty! He's really attached to that bear!"
Luan: "Yeah! I just can't BEAR the thought of him losing it!"
[Luan laughed, and as usual, everyone groaned in annoyance.]
Luan: "But seriously, we need to find that bear!"
Lynn: "Maybe he can live without it eventually?"
Loud Siblings and Ronnie Anne: "NO!"
Lynn: "Alright! Alright! We'll go find Marty's bear if it'll get him to stop crying."
[Immediately, Ronnie Anne looked over to Lincoln.]
Ronnie Anne: "Lincoln, you stay here and try to calm the babies down! We'll search the whole house for Blue Bear!"
Lincoln: "I'll see what I can do, Ronnie Anne."
[Lincoln went into Lisa and Lily's room to calm Marty down while his sisters and Ronnie Anne scrambled all over the house in search of Blue Bear. Lynn Sr. was in the kitchen cooking dinner for the whole family and didn't notice Lynn Jr. searching through the room for Blue Bear. Lana even looked in the doghouse outside, but she couldn't find the bear there either.]
[Finally, after several minutes of searching around the house and making a mess in the process, Ronnie Anne found Marty's bear buried in the backyard with some help from Lucy and a shovel. The bear was pretty dirty, but it was still intact. After cleaning the bear as best she could, Ronnie Anne ran back into the house and up the stairs until she went into Lisa and Lily's room. Marty was still crying in an exhausted Lincoln's arms as the white-haired boy sat on Lisa's bed trying to calm him down, all the while Lily stood on the bed as she did her best to cheer Marty up by making funny faces, but to no avail.]
[That was until Marty saw his comfort toy in his paternal aunt's hand before reaching out for it as his cries died down.]
Ronnie Anne: "Here you go, Marty. Blue Bear is back, safe and sound. There's no need to cry anymore for today."
[Ronnie Anne gave Marty his bear, and within seconds, the baby sucked his thumb as he went to sleep in Lincoln's arms. Ronnie Anne carefully picked up the baby before putting him in Lily's crib. Then she picked up Lily, who also fell asleep after trying to calm Marty down, and put her in the crib with her nephew before kissing both babies on their heads. The Loud sisters let out a quiet and collective "Awww!" as they watched from the doorway.]
Ronnie Anne: "Sweet dreams, little ones."
[Ronnie Anne then helped Lincoln off of Lisa's bed and carried him out of the room before quietly shutting the door. Then she looked over at the rest of the sisters.]
Ronnie Anne: "I think Marty and Lily need plenty of sleep after all that. But whatever happened here stays between all of us."
Lincoln: "I hope."
[All the Loud sisters nodded to themselves. Then Ronnie Anne carried Lincoln into his room and shut the door while the rest of the sisters watched on.]
Later, in Lisa and Lily's room...
[It was around 7:30 when Lily and Marty had finished their nap. Ronnie Anne had been sitting on Lisa's bed with the young genius as she watched them the entire time. The Santiago girl then got up and walked over to the crib before looking down at the babies.]
Ronnie Anne: "Okay, Lily. I think it's time for me to watch Marty now."
Lily: "Awww..."
Ronnie Anne: "You'll see him again soon, but Lori and Bobby will be coming home any minute and I want to take the time I have left to spend it with Marty. Okay?"
Lily: "Okay, Nie-Nie."
Ronnie Anne: "Good. Muy bien."
[Ronnie Anne scooped Marty in her arms before nuzzling the little baby, much to the awe of Lily.]
Ronnie Anne: "Say bye-bye to Marty, Lily."
[Ronnie Anne leaned Marty over the crib before Lily put her hands on her nephew's head and rubbed it affectionately.]
Lily: "Bye-bye, Maw-tee. Lily love you."
[And Lily kissed Marty on the forehead. Ronnie Anne smiled warmly at Lily's response before walking out of the room with Marty and Blue Bear.]
Ronnie Anne: "Good night, Lisa."
Lisa: "Pleasant dreams, Ronalda."
[By that time, everyone in the Loud House was getting ready for bed. The Santiago girl sat on the porch steps as she cradled a fussy Marty in her arms.]
Ronnie Anne: "There, there, Martinez. Your Tia Ronalda is here. How about I start singing to you? Okay?"
[Ronnie Anne rocked Marty and started singing the very same lullaby that her mother used to sing to her. Lincoln was watching through the living room window and was entranced by the girl's singing.]
[At that moment, a certain former news reporter was walking by the Loud House when she spotted the girl cradling the baby in her arms and singing softly to him.]
[By the time she had finished and the baby was asleep, Ronnie Anne looked up to see Katherine with tears streaming down her face before the former reporter ran off, much to the Santiago tomboy's confusion.]
Ronnie Anne: Wasn't that the news reporter who got fired last month? Katherine Mulligan? What the hell's eating her?
[Ronnie Anne shrugged and looked down at her sleeping nephew. The front door carefully opened, and out of the house came Lincoln, who sat beside Ronnie Anne on the steps.]
Lincoln: "That was beautiful, Ronnie Anne. I don't think I've ever seen you sing like that before."
Ronnie Anne: "I know... My mother and Bobby used to sing it to me to help me sleep. It always helped me to forget about my father as well."
[Ronnie Anne's face fell as she thought about Alex. After a few seconds, she spoke to Lincoln again.]
Ronnie Anne: "Sorry about that. I really shouldn't be talking about Alex anymore."
[Lincoln put his arm around Ronnie Anne and pulled her close.]
Lincoln: "It's alright, Ronnie Anne. With a little more time, he'll fade into obscurity soon."
[And with that, Ronnie Anne leaned her head on Lincoln's shoulder as both kids stared at the setting sun. In just a matter of minutes, Lori and Bobby would be coming to pick up their little Bumblebee, and that was plenty of time for Lincoln and Ronnie Anne to spend with him until their elder siblings arrived.]
Lincoln: "Look at that sunset, Ronnie Anne. It's beautiful, isn't it?"
[Ronnie Anne chuckled as she playfully pounded Lincoln's chest with her fist.]
Ronnie Anne: "You really are a sappy dork, Lame-O. As always."
Lincoln: "Yeah, but I'm YOUR sappy dork... Aren't I?"
Ronnie Anne: "I know you are."
[Then Ronnie Anne closed her eyes as she snuggled up to Lincoln, who smiled warmly at Ronnie Anne before planting a kiss on her forehead. Lisa saw this affectionate display through her bedroom window and was astonished by it.]
Lisa: "I knew I was right."
Later that night, at an undisclosed location...
[Rosato sat in a reclining chair before calling a number on his phone. After a few beeps, a garbled voice answered.]
Unknown Caller: "You called?"
Rosato: "Good news, niece. Someone will be meeting you at West Jefferson on Sunday to help you with your... dare I say... Pimple Problem?"
Unknown Caller: "That's great, uncle. I gotta be good and ready when I start my little project. Dat Lori Loud and her bookworm muddah won't even know what'll hit 'em. By the way, I never got to thank you for staying true to your promise and finding my old high school buddies... Even if it was only half of them."
Rosato: "It was my gratitude. Still... It's a shame what happened to your face. I still can't believe that fat snub did this to you after all these years."
Unknown Caller: "It's fine, uncle. Tis nothin' but a scratch. It'll probably heal up in no time. By the way, it still helps to recruit some fresh young blood as well."
Rosato: "I also still can't believe that you need help with a problem that concerns... 'that family'. Especially after what happened to my former client... who shall remain... nameless... for now."
Unknown Caller: "Well, bustuh, you said so yerself! Da whole reason dat two-bit town of Royal Woods was raided by dem leather-jacketed Joes was all because 'that family' did their leader wrong, am I right? Am I wrong?"
Rosato: "Of course you're right. I told you the whole story about it, didn't I?"
Unknown Caller: "Well, that's why I'm forming a lil' reunion party, and you've been doing quite well with the 'invitations' so far. Once I get my old crew back together, we'll work on the best way to get back at dose damned dames. And if their whole family gets involved, so be it! Dey'll get what's comin' to them as well... ALL of them!"
Rosato: "Yeah well, just remember; Don't go doin' anything to draw attention to yourself."
Unknown Caller: "I know! I know! Gotta lay low for a while considering what happened last month. Besides, this'll give us plenty more time to work on our strategy. In the meantime, I already sent two of my associates ovah to the town to spy on dat Lori Loud and her family. One of them told me not too long ago that she got some rather juicy footage of Lori and dat big boy lover of hers. They should have enough evidence and photos of everyone by da start of April."
Rosato: "That's good. I can use all the info that they can get."
Unknown Caller: "And you will. You just keep your end of the bargain and find me more new recruits."
Rosato: "I will. But, uh, while I do that, might I request letting me bring some of my top men as muscle? Just to level things out a little?"
Unknown Caller: "Ahhhh, why the hell not? You have been quite helpful to me for all deez years. So yeah, you can bring your guys ovah. And maybe even a few more, as long as they don't mind getting their hands dirty, and as long as they know who's in charge. Capisce?"
Rosato: "Yeah, capisce. And you'll let me know when you have enough resources?"
Unknown Caller: "Of course, unc! After all, you're alright as far as men go."
Rosato: "Don't mention it, sweetheart."
Unknown Caller: "By the way, unc, there's a bit of a chance that I'll be holding a big meeting once I- *ahem* I mean, once WE gather enough members. Of course, there's still the matter of where to hold that meeting."
Rosato: "My guys and I can scope out the old Harbor Terminal Building. We can set up the meeting on one of the top floors once everything is secure."
Unknown Caller: "Excellent! Once everything is in place, we'll fill everyone in on the events that transpired. And if there's anything they want in return, we'll be ready to pay 'em off. You know what I mean?"
Rosato: "Of course I do. It helps to get everyone up to speed. I'll even set up a slideshow presentation just for the occasion."
Unknown Caller: "That's my uncle! That'll be a great way for them to catch up on current events going on around here. Once the gang's all here, we'll start makin' the preparations for the big score."
Rosato: "Provided you wait things out until you are good and ready."
Unknown Caller: "Yeah, yeah, I know, unc! I ain't gonna be like that dat dumbass Santiago when he set up that half-assed attack on the town. All he did was cause one hell of a ruckus. But dis time, we'll keep it low-pro and outta sight so the coppers won't notice a thing. Once we have everything set up, put in place, and rarin' to go, we'll figure out the best time to pull it off."
Rosato: "April or May, just to remind ya. The town's still healing from what happened last month."
Unknown Caller: "Yea, yea, yeah... I know! You don't have to keep reminding me every time! I WILL find da perfect place and time in dat period to pull it off. But in any case, when dat time comes, the queen wasp and her swarm will pray upon the little princess bumblebee and her hive. If ya get what I mean?"
[Rosato could hear the caller chuckle over the phone.]
Rosato: "Of course I do."
Unknown Caller: "Alright then, I've spoken enough. I'm outta here. Lemme know if and when you're done with the final recruitment phase. Later, Uncle Rocco."
[And with that, the caller hung up before Rosato sighed and put the phone back in his coat.]
Rosato: "Great... Another job involving the Loud Family. I get the impression that they aren't quite out of the woods yet... But, whatever my niece is planning to do, I hope it'll be better than what Alex did... And hopefully, for her sake, it'll be... a little... more... glorious?"
[Rosato raised an eyebrow and cast a smirk at the readers as he emphasized that last word.]
Well, it seemed like a normal day for the Loud Family, but it seems that Rosato is in league with someone who has it out for Lori and Rita! But just who is this mysterious individual that Rosato is working for, and why is she targeting Lori and Rita? Will the rest of the Loud Family and the Santiago Siblings be added to her agenda as well? And who exactly is the person that the caller will be meeting? Hopefully, these questions, and more, will be answered in the next chapter. So until then, stay tuned.
Maikoh Locklear: Thanks so much.
wollyworld: Thanks.
Gamelover41592: They will in the next chapter.
Alphared45667: That tends to happen.
Issa Moshup Ting: Maybe he's related to Girl Jordan. Then again, maybe he isn't.
DarthWill3: I don't know. Katherine might end up accepting the offer for a reason. Also, duly noted.
MoreABoutThomas: We'll see.
boygenius2020: It was, wasn't it?
Guest 1: Indeed he is.
Guest 2: Yeah.
Guest 3: Yes.
Guest 4: It might.
Guest 5: We're not sure if Rosato's plan will involve the Louds at the moment.
ker Varela: Story purposes. But I think Katherine's is going to be the last one.
Guest 6: I'll bet.
