It was late when Burchard finally comes up to a large apartment building. He looks down at the piece of paper while saying, "yeah, this is the address."

Now inside, Burchard walks down the hall, which is lined with doors, each with a number on it. he continues to study each door but pauses when a strange feeling starts to grow inside him, but he couldn't quite place it though as he looks back he says to himself, "why does it feel like I'm being watched?"

He scans the empty hallway while still trying to understand this feeling until he notices something strange about the door directly behind him. it was slightly ajar with something sticking out of it which seemed to look back at him, but it wasn't human, no it was, "a rabbit puppet?"

Before he could fully comprehend what he was looking at, the puppet starts shouting, "hey bud! It's rude to stare!!!"

Caught off guard by the talking puppet, he takes a step back while saying, "huh?"

-

He continues to stare but before he could say anything else, a surprisingly adorable voice emanates from behind the door saying, "yoshinon. Why are you being so rude?"

-

The puppet looks back into the room while responding, "what? He was staring!!! And someone has to put him in his place!!!"

-

The puppet looks back at him while continuing, "and he's still staring!!!"

-

Still not 100% sure what was going on, he decides to smile while saying, "uh, sorry. I didn't mean to stare."

-

The puppet continues to seemingly stare at him then seems to wave it off while saying, "all good, I'm sure you aren't used to seeing anything as gorgeous as me."

Burchard intern chuckles a bit while scratching the back of his head while responding, "I guess you could say that."

-

To his surprise, the puppet disappears behind the door but before he could really comprehend everything that was happening, the door opens and a young girl with long blue hair and blue eyes steps out into the hall though the most striking thing he noticed about her was the same puppet he just saw on her hand. She looks up at him curiously while asking, "can I ask what you're doing here?"

After a brief pause, he holds up the piece of paper while replying, "I'm looking for my new apartment, I just moved here."

-

She looks back at him with intrigue but before she could respond, the puppet starts to look at him while speaking, "so you're the new neighbour we've been hearing about."

-

Now sort of used to the puppet, he shrugs his shoulders while responding, "I guess so."

-

The puppet responds with excitement, "well nice to meet you neighbour! You can call me Yoshinon."

-

The puppet motions to the girl while continuing, "and this cute little thing is Yoshino!"

-

Seemingly embarrassed by being called cute, her cheeks turn flush while she mutters, "uh, nice to meet you."

-

Burchard smiles back at them while saying, "nice to meet you both, my name is Burchard."

-

For some strange reason, Yoshinon puts a paw to her chin as if to think while saying, "Burchard huh? Why have I heard that name before?"

-

Seemingly remembering, Yoshinon looks back at him while continuing, "oh I know!..."

-

Burchard is surprised to see Yoshino covering Yoshinon's mouth to seemingly silence her while saying, "yoshinon. We're not supposed to talk about that."

-

After seemingly realizing something, she nods in agreement then after Yoshino's hand is removed, she says, "right! I forgot about that!"

-

Confused by what they were talking about, he asks, "uh, what are you talking about?"

-

They both look at him with surprise, as if they just realized he was still listening. Now in a panic Yoshino blurts out, "uh…. Sorry but I have to go."

-

Before he could say anything, Yoshinon adds, "yeah! we gotta make dinner so see yah!!!"

-

They both disappear into their apartment with the door slamming behind them, which leaves Burchard in the hall now standing alone. He scratches the back of his head while trying to comprehend what just happened but coming up with nothing, he simply shrugs while saying to himself, "well that was weird."

-

He looks around the room while continuing, "now where's this new apartment?"

-

After looking for a minute, he finds his apartment sandwiched between two other doors and just down the hall from Yoshino's. he walks in and is surprised to find a relatively large apartment with a large kitchen, bedroom with a large bed and a decently sized living room with a comfy looking couch and tv mounted on the wall. He walks out onto the balcony where he finds a bbq and is amazed by the beautiful view that overlooks a large river valley. He was taken a back by everything he was seeing while saying to himself, "wow, this place really is amazing, I can't believe I was more or less given this place."

Though he wasn't able to enjoy the view for long as the events of the day slowly reply back into his head. With none of it really making any sense, he simply sighs disheartedly while leaning over the railing while saying to himself, "I just don't get it. I don't think I was acting strangely today yet I ran into so many weird people and situations."

His head drops as he continues, "but that Yuzuru girl was the strangest of all. I honestly have so many questions for her."

-

"Inquiry: what do you wish to know?"

-

Caught of guard by the familiarly monotone voice, Burchard's head rises and looks over to the neighbouring balcony only to see Yuzuru leaning forward with her arms resting on the next-door balcony and looking back at him. To say he was surprised to see her was an understatement to say the very least but what seemed to confuse him the most was what she was wearing. It was strangely familiar, as if he had seen that sweater before but he didn't know where.

He continues to stare at the sweater in an attempt to remember but fails to realize that he was basically staring at her while failing to notice the hints of red that was starting to colour her cheeks though he quickly finds out when she says, "embarrassment: it is rude to stare."

-

Suddenly realizing that he had basically been staring at her silently for a while, his whole face turns beat red while his head snaps to the other side and blurts out, "sorry!!!"

-

He stands there in awkward silence, all the while chewing himself out for being such a creep though his self-deprecation gets interrupted by the sound of a soft laugh coming from next to him. when he looks back, he's surprised to see her with her eyes closed and hand covering her mouth in an attempt to hide her smile while the setting sun gently illuminates her. He finds himself mesmerized by the sight before him while thinking to himself, "I never had a chance to really notice until now, but she is so beautiful."

Realizing that he was once again staring, he quickly looks away right as she opens her eyes while saying, "apology: sorry for laughing. Yuzuru found your reaction funny, but more importantly cute."

He continues to look away in an attempt to hide the redness filling his face but gets found out as Yuzuru states, "surprise: Yuzuru didn't know you were so easily embarrassed?"

-

Now annoyed and feeling slightly insulted, he looks back at her while basically forgetting the redness in his face while snapping, "like your one to talk? Don't you remember what happened during class?"

-

She starts to look up into the air while putting a chin to her chin to think while replying, "confusion: Yuzuru doesn't remember being embarrassed?"

-

Faking a shocked look, Burchard says, "really? Don't you remember what happened when I said I wanted to call you cute first?"

-

The moment he spoke of suddenly popped into her mind and as she remembers what happened, she goes bright red while looking away from him while saying, "confirmation: oh yeah, Yuzuru forgot about that."

-

He continues to grin at her while saying, "so? Calling you cute makes you embarrassed? I'll have to remember that."

-

To his surprise, her head immediately snaps over to him while saying in an annoyed tone, "annoyance: don't get the wrong idea, Yuzuru doesn't become embarrassed by just anyone calling her cute."

Caught off by what she said, he starts to look at her confused while asking, "so what's so special about me?"

-

She was confused by what he asked, but as his words slowly start to click, she understands the mistake she made but before she could even attempt to defuse the situation, he states, "come to think of it, you were acting strange today, almost like you knew me? have we met before?"

-

She was cornered and even though she wanted to tell him everything, but what Reine said about the damage to his mind kept repeating in her head. Coming up with a lie, she says, "confirmation: no, we've never met before."

-

She isn't exactly surprised to see him look slightly sad while saying, "oh, that's to bad."

-

Intrigued by the response, she asks, "question: why do you say that?"

-

He seems to hesitate for a moment as she sees his cheeks turn slightly flush as she thinks, "intrigue: is he embarrassed?"

-

After another moment of hesitation, he finally says, "because I think I would be happy if I already knew you."

-

In an instant, Yuzuru's cheeks start to turn flush but for some reason she doesn't turn away, almost as if she didn't care if he saw her embarrassed. instead, she continues to look at him while staring to smile warmly and asking, "inquiry: is something stopping you from getting to know Yuzuru now?"

She was caught off guard by what she said but he starts to smile back at her while replying, "I think id like that."

-

She intern responds, "confirmation: it will be fun to get to know you."

-

She continues to smile while thinking, "and Yuzuru is looking forward to making you fall in love with her again."
