"You always were a grave disappointment to me, Number Two." Reginald chided him as Diego approached, he had seen how Diego moved on the screen, he knew he would likely follow that style, he would go for the defence, then finish it quickly. "Rushing in, head first, without a regard for instructions or the chain of command. It's why you would never make Number One."
"You were always a shit father." Diego spat back, as the others just watched, Pogo wanting to cease the violence, the other siblings, to varying degrees, wanting either Diego to win or to join in themselves. However, they all stayed, this was Diego's fight, this would be left for him.
As Diego approached, he could see Reginald beginning to bend backwards, preparing to dodge his punch, and he got an idea, as Reginald moved backwards, Diego decided he wasn't going to play by the rules Reginald expected, he simply moved his leg upwards in a quick swing, kicking Reginald in his genitalia, dropping the older man to the floor with a cry, clutching at his groin, as Diego went and sat back down, smirking slightly as the others clapped.
"Should we help him up?" Luther asked as Pogo went to try assist Reginald, before Klaus waved his concerns away.
"Nah, fuck him, the prick deserved it." Klaus reasoned.
Luther found he couldn't argue with that and sat back down again as the next episode began.
The scene opened on Klaus' first few moments in 1960, with the screen saying "1960, Dallas, Tx" before showing Klaus forming his cult, impressing socialites with his ability to float, showing Ben holding him into the air, Klaus on a bus with the guy in prison, reading "1961, Baja, Mexico" as Ben watched one of his disciples below them, as they both read books.
"Seems you had some adventures in your time apart from the others, Master Klaus." Pogo stated, as he helped Reginald into a chair, Reginald's eyes glaring murder at Diego.
Klaus then climbed out of water in "1962, Varanasi, India" before his disciples, who once more showered him with praise, Klaus beginning to look sick of the attention and adoration. The scene changed to "1963, San Francisco" as Klaus tricked them into meditating as he crawled under them, stole the nearest car and drove away, Ben in tow, back towards Dallas.
"It seems even unlimited fame is too much for you." Ben told Klaus who shrugged.
"Who wants unlimited fame anyway?"
Diego awoke with a scream as Lila cauterized his wounds, telling him that he should thank her for stalking him as she saved him, before Diego realised he was naked, her using a heated metal rod to push him back onto the sofa as he screamed. Five walked into the room, remarking Diego wasn't dead, before he and Lila traded barbs, Five remarked he ran into an old family friend then asked Lila why she hadn't untied Elliot, with her asking if she was meant too.
"I like her." Klaus stated as Five frowned. This was obvious stuff, and Lila clearly had some experience with dealing with people like him, the only place she could have gotten that was the Commission, but he didn't recall her from there.
The scene changed to show Vanya driving past a corn field, before being stopped by a milk van, as the Swedes climbed out and began to open fire on her, driving away, she crashed the car and ran into the corn field, them in pursuit, firing into it. She crawled through the corn before coming to the feet of the eldest, he fired on her, steeling herself, she summoned her powers, the force of her explosion sending all of them flying.
"Nice to see your powers still working." Five remarked.
"I bet that version of me is very scared." Vanya frowned, hoping she wouldn't lose her memory if something like this happens this time.
Back at Elliot's, Elliot pointed out one of Five's devices was pinging, Five stating it was tracking sound waves, heading off towards where it was coming from.
"Five always has a plan, eh?" Klaus joked as Five simply nodded. He did always have a plan, one for every eventuality, apart from Vanya blowing up the Moon that was.
Luther was shown leaving his boarding house and going for a run, thinking he saw Allison, he tripped and fell, before realising it was someone else and running off again.
"Aww, Luther!" Allison said, blushing at the idea of him still looking for her.
"You know I won't give up looking for you, any of you." Luther said. "If we were spread throughout time, I'd look for you all."
"Yeah but one of us in particular." Klaus wiggled his eyebrows.
In the corn field, Five approached a scared Vanya, introducing himself as her brother, explaining why the Swedes were after her and remarking it was good to see her powers were still intact, as it revealed she had made a crop circle.
"Vanya the alien." Diego sniggered as Vanya glared at him.
Luther spoke to Jack Ruby about tracking someone down, Jack saying he needed Luther's head in the fight, so he would find the person for him, Luther giving him Allison's name.
"It's gonna be rough when you find out about her husband." Klaus joked as Luther scowled, ignoring him.
Allison found herself outside of Klaus' mansion, heading around back, her and Klaus spotted one another and rushed to embrace in the middle of his pool, discussing what they had been up to since they landed in the 1960's, Klaus admitting he started a cult, Allison saying she was married and was a civil rights activist, telling Klaus about Raymond, Klaus admitted he knew him.
"Aww, reunited and it feels so good." Klaus started to sing to Allison, who shook her head at his antics.
"Well at least we found each other." Allison told him. "Hopefully we meet the others again soon."
The Handler was shown walking through Dallas, visiting a pet shop and speaking to a young boy about the fishes, whispering something in his ear that caused him to wet himself and flee in terror.
"I'm not surprised she scared a poor child." Diego stated.
"She does have that evil monster vibe." Five agreed.
At the salon, the men in the civil rights group suggested postponing the protest without Ray, Allison convincing them to go ahead with it, by getting the women on board when the men tried to be sexist towards her.
"You show them, Allison." Vanya smiled at her, as Allison beamed back at her.
"Yay sisters?"
"Yay sisters." Vanya confirmed.
Raymond found himself being released, looking around in confusion, he saw Klaus there, who admitted it was due to him, and welcoming him into the family, when Raymond said they were all brothers, Klaus told him he was Allison's brother and told him family barbeques would be weird before leaving again.
"Understatement of the century." Diego said drily.
Five and Vanya sat at a diner, Five telling her their life story. Vanya told him she had no memories from before a month ago, asking what ended the world, Five lied and told her it was just an asteroid, before telling her that they had eight days before a different apocalypse ended the world this time.
"How do we somehow keep ending up in these situations?" Ben asked Klaus, who shrugged.
"We're just lucky I guess." Ben quipped.
Vanya called Sissy as Harlan had an episode, biting Sissy and trying to hit her before Sissy left him alone to get the phone, finding out it was Vanya, she said she didn't care about the car, asking if Vanya was alright. Vanya told her that she had found her brother, before Five hung up the phone, telling Vanya they didn't have time for this and needed to find the others.
"It sounds like you really make a difference to their lives." Five told Vanya.
"They seem really nice, I do wish we could meet them this time."
"Do you want a summer in 1963?" Five joked with her, the others gaping at the idea of Five knowing how to joke.
The scene changed to Diego trying to get out to find his father again, before Lila pushed him over, Diego said he cheap-shotted him, that man to man he wouldn't have a chance against him. Diego asked why she was following him, Lila explained she thought he was abandoning her, saying she had found her parents dead after a home invasion and worried Diego was also dead. She explained she was four at the time, and went on to say she didn't hate Diego like she did most people, he kissed her and she slapped him. Lila then moved onto him, kissing him as the two of them began making love on Elliot's bed, as he made a dessert.
"I feel bad for her." Klaus said, Luther, Allison and Vanya all nodding.
Diego just wondered how he could have possibly moved on so fast from Patch, even if he did think Lila was pretty cool from what he had seen.
Five, Five just glared. This was textbook manipulation, and that scene, a home invasion, two parents shot dead, that sounded familiar somehow.
The Handler was reading Five's file in the bath and drinking, as she plotted her next move, throwing it down onto the floor.
Five gasped as he put it all together.
"What is it?" Diego asked him, concerned.
"I know who Lila is." Five said, eyes widening. "I won't say, not yet, but if she's who I think she is, we need to be careful if we ever do run across her."
At the club, Luther was given Allison's address by Ruby, heading there, he was greeted by Raymond, who explained Allison was his wife, inviting a clearly crushed Luther inside. Luther explained he was Allison's brother, and asked about their life, Raymond saying they were married before he said he had to leave, asking if Luther wanted to leave a message for Allison, him asking Raymond to tell her he needed to talk to her.
"Poor Luther." Klaus said as Luther scowled at him. How dare Klaus mock what he was going through?
Entering the diner, Allison and the others began the sit in, as the rest of the patrons and staff tried to get them to leave.
"You show them, Allison." Vanya cheered her on.
Klaus and Ben headed to a DIY store, Klaus heading inside to look for paint, before the store owner sent over his assistant to help Klaus, a young man called Dave.
"Oh Klaus." Allison and Vanya said sadly, cuddling up to him as Klaus looked at the screen in shock. He had a sneaking suspicion he may try it, now he remembered Dave, but to see his younger self, to see the man he loved stood there, it hurt.
Ben saying Klaus was being dumb as Dave wondered if Klaus was ok, Dave suggested some paint for Klaus as Ben asked Klaus if this was stalking. As the paint stirrer moved the paint, Klaus remembered his last moments with Dave and his future death, biding Dave goodbye as he left.
"Dave..." Klaus said softly, nobody daring to say anything as they saw tears falling from his face. Klaus needed time, they would let him have it.
Ben tried to tell Klaus he would confuse Dave and it was wrong, as Klaus told him he was fired and Dave had told him he enlisted the day JFK died, if Klaus could convince him not to enlist, he would save his life and that would be worth everything to Klaus. Ben tried to explain that whatever happened, Klaus needed to handle it, as they saw the police drive towards the sit in.
"Oh no, Allison!" Luther cried, worried about what could have happened to her.
"It's a noble thing you're doing, even if it's in a selfish way." Ben conceded to Klaus.
At the sit in, they were attacked as Raymond showed up, sitting next to his wife and talking with her about the two white men he had met that day claiming to be his brothers in law, whilst Luther boxed, distracted by what he had learnt about Allison.
"What's going to happen with the fight? Luther needs his head in the game." Diego said.
"I'm sure I can pull through." Luther smiled, trying to laugh it off, as every second he saw Allison with another man stabbed him in the heart over and over.
Ray was dragged outside and beaten by the cops, as Allison was taken outside as well, she used her powers to get a cop to leave Ray alone, who freaked out, asking her what she had done to make him stop, running away from her in the middle of the violence as Klaus appeared to drag Allison away to safety as more people began fighting in the streets.
"He's scared of me?" Allison asked, she didn't know him, but she knew that version of her loved the man, and it broke her heart to see her other self being treated like that by her husband.
Luther let himself be knocked out, angering Ruby, as Five and Vanya watched the fight, wondering why he let himself be beaten.
"Isn't it obvious? He's broken inside." Diego ruefully said, as Luther scowled. He couldn't be, could he?
Back at Elliot's, Lila awoke next to Diego, before slipping out, heading to the pet shop, she fished a room key from the fish tank and headed to a hotel, heading inside, she collapsed onto a bed, talking about the police riots nearby, as the Handler walked in, saying she deserved to be allowed to order room service.
"What is she doing working with her?" Diego snarled.
"She's a spy?!" Luther asked.
"Intriguing." Reginald simply stated, more to himself, in his first interaction for the entire episode.
"Thanks, Mum." Lila replied, the Handler smiling as Lila hugged and kissed her, as the scene faded to black.
"I fucking knew it." Five spat. "I knew she had to be working for her, had to know her."
"You knew she had a daughter?" Vanya asked.
"That, I didn't know." Five admitted. "Though it does make sense, she's trained in Commission ways, clearly, she's definitely insane enough for the Handler."
"I thought her parents were dead?" Diego mused.
"I'm sure it'll tell us how." Five said. "Though I do have a sneaking suspicion. I just pray I'm wrong."
"I think we all need to talk." Pogo said, looking at the children and Reginald. "I think we all need to clear the air after the last few episodes and revelations."
