"Sir, alienating the children, is it really the wisest choice?" Pogo asked Reginald softly.
"They'll see the wisdom of my words, soon my friend." Reginald explained to him. "Once they realise they have all drifted from the correct course, they'll realise only I can train them, they will do ass I say if they want to prevent the apocalypse. Once Number Seven takes her medication again and the others return to being trained by me, we shall be able to correct all of these mistakes." Reginald explained, as if it was the most simple thing in the world.
"I'm sorry, Sir, but that sounds delusional." Pogo stated, moving back away from Reginald. "They are all adults now, they know what they want, all we can do now is offer our support, offer to train them, sure, but if you do, let them have input on it."
"Preposterous." Reginald scoffed. "Now, don't forget who created you my friend." He finished off with an ominous warning.
"Fuck off you demented old creep." The siblings all spat, moving towards their father and Pogo, blocking Pogo from him.
"You want to threaten Pogo, you have to take us all on. That's a fight you know you won't win." Allison told him sternly, as Reginald sighed and turned back to the screen, acknowledging defeat.
"Thank you, children." Pogo stated, moving away from Reginald and sitting by Klaus, who moved to the floor to give Pogo his seat.
The scene opened on a small lodge, the screen reading "1982". Entering the hotel lodge, Five was greeted at the front desk, Five asking where the "Midwest Soy Bean Society" was, getting some change for a vending machine from the woman at the desk, who told him he was in luck.
"So, I'm assuming that boring name is the Commission cover?" Allison asked.
"I want to know who formed them, what's the overhead? Do they have shareholders?" Klaus asked, seemingly thrilled by the idea of a shadowy cabal.
"Some say the best luck is to die at the right time." Five ominously said as he headed to the vending machine.
"Well, that isn't creepy at all." Diego shuddered.
Choosing a Fudge Nutter, five shook the machine as it failed to dispense the chocolate, smashing the machine eventually.
"I see the machine has made a powerful enemy." Vanya smiled softly as Five, earning a small grin off of him.
Heading to the room he knew the Board was in, he grabbed an axe from the nearby wall, heading in as AJ Carmichael was speaking, before AJ recognised Five.
"I don't think he expected it would be you out of everyone who walked through the door then." Luther stated.
"He probably realised in that moment that someone had set him up, I wouldn't randomly be there to kill someone otherwise."
Five chopped the hand off one of the members before security could be called, before grinning at them and jumping around the room, decapitating them and striking them with blows to the arms, legs and chest as he danced around the room, massacring them one by one.
"Remind me to never piss you off, Five?" The others all chorused, as Five smirked.
AJ tried to climb under the table to escape as Five turned towards him, the last survivor, when the front desk lady charged in, attacking Five for destroying the vending machine. Five knocked her out before finding AJ, who offered Five anything he wanted for his life, Five taking a nearby bat and smashing his tank.
"Never try reason with a madman." Klaus said, before Five hit him.
Klaus was sitting on a chair in his mansion, refusing to sleep, as Ben threatened to possess him once he did, Ben trying to get Klaus to sleep, telling him just to close his eyes, every time Klaus' eyes drooped, Ben inched closer and closer. Klaus told Ben he was devastated because he tried to save Dave and he had just doomed him, Ben saying that feeling of helplessness, it's what he dealt with every day, before Klaus finally agreed to let Ben possess him, with some ground rules first.
"Ben, I can't believe I have to say it, but that is horrific. You really are acting like Dad there, threatening and guilting Klaus like that." Allison said disapprovingly, as Ben frowned. He hadn't given the possession much thought himself, it seemed it would be a few years before it was feasible anyway, but yeah, his other self was being a dick to Klaus. He needed to have a discussion with Klaus once all this was over. At least his other self had made an agreement with Klaus.
"Klaus, once these videos are all over, can we talk, just you and I?" Ben asked his brother softly, Klaus turned to him, having watched the scene in horror, and tightly nodded.
At Sissy's, Carl sat back and watched Sissy and Vanya interact, before Sissy said she was taking Harlan for a checkup, inviting Vanya, before Carl said he needed Vanya to give him a ride up to a friends ranch, pulling rank and telling Sissy he was taking Vanya with him.
"Well now he knows, this is clearly a threat." Luther frowned.
"I'm sure I'll be fine, don't worry." Vanya reassured them.
Allison and Ray got ready, with Ray heading to go plan a meeting before his civil rights group would meet Robert Kennedy, Allison said she wouldn't attend due to poor health, Ray told her he would bring soup back for her, Allison telling him she loved him as he left.
"It's like I know something is going to happen." Allison stated.
Five delivered AJ in a bag to the Handler who taunted the fish and handed over a briefcase to Five, saying a promise was a promise, and that he had 90 minutes before the briefcase departed. Five demanded more time, the Handler said she couldn't spare any more, he needed to get out of this time period before questions were asked, dismissing him as he jumped away.
"And the other boot drops, I should have known she would screw me over like that." Five raged. "I blame myself for taking her at face value."
Diego and Luther covered Elliot's body over with a sheet, before their usual dumbassery kicked in with their less than a braincell between them. I mean, they assumed Oga For Oga must be a name, Oga Foroga, and tried to track her down, finding a similar name in the Dallas phonebook, Diego demanded they call her, Luther dialling it in, so they could threaten her.
"Wow, do you two have a braincell between you?" Allison asked.
"Hey!" Luther protested.
"I mean, Klaus would have taken that bait as well, but the rest of us would be smart enough not to instantly assume it was a name of a random Texan woman." Vanya reasoned as the three men grimaced. She wasn't wrong exactly.
Five came in, saw the message and knew what had happened, checking the sheet and seeing Elliot, he came in and told them Oga For Oga was Swedish for "An eye for an eye" as Diego said "You will be dead by nightfall" to Olga, before Diego apologised to her and hung up the phone.
"Yep, not a braincell between you." Five agreed.
"We would have gotten there." Luther insisted.
"Eventually." Diego agreed.
"Sure." Allison smiled, shaking her head fondly.
At the Commission, the Handler addressed the Commission, telling them that the board was dead, and she would be assuming control of the organisation, before dismissing them once again, leaving them all stunned and confused.
"I can imagine they're shocked, she was demoted to a nobody now she is claiming to be running the show? Surprised none of them tried to protest it really." Five frowned. "Maybe they want her in charge?"
Five told Luther and Diego they had 77 minutes to be back at the alley, Luther would get Allison, Diego would get Klaus, he would get Vanya. Diego wanted to know about Reginald and JFK, before Five told him that Elliot just died because they were there, let history happen, get out of the timeline and ensure no apocalypse occurs.
"Yeah,if we do somehow end up in the 60's, we're leaving immediately." Five told them all.
"We probably are the cause, aren't we?" Klaus agreed.
"Well yeah." Five stated simply.
Diego said he needed to say goodbye to Lila, Five explained she was part of the Commission and using him to get to Five, Diego insisted that couldn't be true, before Five told him if they didn't get home, he would kill Diego himself.
"I believe you would." Diego said simply. "I'm sure it'll be messed up somehow though."
"It always is with you guys." Five sighed.
Klaus finished going over the rules with Ben before letting Ben possess him, Ben seeing the world in a new light due to being technically alive again, appreciating eating fruit and making dirt angels with Jill.
"Aww cute Ben vibes." Klaus cooed at his brother who glared at him.
"Shut it Klaus." Ben growled as Klaus continued to tease him.
At the ranch, Carl told Vanya an anecdote about disease spreading, telling her he knew about her and Sissy and that she would be leaving, and leaving Sissy and Harlan behind, or else he would send Harlan to a mental asylum for his own good, Vanya agreeing to leave for Sissy and Harlan.
"Is he calling you a disease for being gay/bi?" Klaus raged.
"I guess he is, it's his own hangup." Vanya said simply.
"You don't deserve that still Vanya." Allison told her.
"I know, but I know you guys support me, that's all I need. It's not like I'll ever meet these people this time though, Sissy is using me for her own ends it seems and Carl is Carl, I just wish I could help Harlan."
Luther accosted Allison in her house, telling her they had to leave in 42 minutes, Allison saying she couldn't go if they wouldn't definitely have Claire, she couldn't lose everyone ever again, Luther telling her they were different and had to go, and it wasn't fair, but they had to risk everything to save everything, and that hope was their best family trait, before the two of them hugged. Raymond then walked in, asking what Luther had said to her.
"We'll make sure in this timeline you see Claire again, you'll get her back." Luther vowed to Allison, who looked stunned that she hadn't mentioned Claire in all this time, the others nodded to her, whatever it took, they'd make sure Allison got to visit her daughter.
Ben talked with Jill, telling her how he liked her and all the wonderful things about her, before asking if he could smell her hair, admitting his love for her as she asked if he wanted to have sex like they had done before, believing him to be Klaus. Ben said Klaus was so dirty, Jill said "Yes you are, Daddy" before Diego interrupted.
"I do not want to hear anyone address Klaus as Daddy ever again, especially myself." Diego grimaced, looking sick.
"I don't either." Five looked uneasy, the others also looked queasy as Klaus just winked at them all.
At the Commission, the Handler taunted AJ again before speaking to Lila, giving her the position of Head of Security to stop what the Handler called her moping, Lila said she wanted to pick her own team and make her own decisions with it, the Handler saying sure.
"Why do I get shivers down my spine at that?" Diego asked.
"I'd watch out for a visit from her." Luther warned him.
Ben and Diego talked, Ben insisting he was Ben as Diego said they had to go and dismissing it as Klaus being high, before Ben convinced Diego it was him, the two of them hugging, Diego telling Ben he had missed him. As they walked, Ben said Klaus should say goodbye to the cult, before Diego told him it's better to have someone responsible behind the wheel, and that Ben needed to meet him at Elliot's in 30 minutes. As he left, Klaus tried to force Ben out of his body again.
"Aww brotherly bonding." Vanya teased Diego who flushed.
"That was you two?!" Allison and Klaus asked.
"I got beaten on for weeks by Allison in training for that." Klaus growled.
"Sorry." Diego and Ben both said.
The scene changed to show Vanya driving towards Dallas as Five crossed her, both of them pulling over to talk. Five said he had a way home and they had to go, Vanya insisting they bring Sissy and Harlan, in 2019 they could live much better lives, Five told her they couldn't, as she insisted they were unimportant to history, Five said nobody was and they must stay. Vanya and Five entered a standoff with their powers, before Vanya backed down, saying she wouldn't leave without at least saying goodbye, Five told her to meet him at Elliot's in thirty minutes.
"Well I'm glad we didn't explode at each other, be hard to explain why half of Dallas exploded." Five laughed as Vanya nodded. She wouldn't want to ever hurt her siblings, not really, especially not now they had gotten closer like this.
Diego was burying Elliot when Lila approached him, asking if they could talk. Diego accused her of lying to him about everything, as she argued it was only a few things she lied about. She discovered Elliot lying under a cover, as Diego explained the Swedes had killed him. Lila stated she had liked him, toasting Elliot and taking a swig of a drink before offering Diego some, as he drank, he felt weird, collapsing into the dirt, Lila spat out her own drink with a "yup" as she dragged Diego away.
"I should have known she had a plot." Diego spat. "Can't believe I fell for that." He said ruefully.
"Well there goes the faint hope I had of us all being there on time to leave." Five shook his head in despair.
Raymond asked how long they had, Allison saying they had 23 minutes, she asked if he would come with if she asked.
"I know I shouldn't ask him." Allison held up her hands as Five gave her a glance. "Is it so wrong to want to be happy, though?"
"Not at all, but we can't further change the timeline, you know that." Five told her, as she nodded.
Raymond said he couldn't leave the movement, even if it wasn't perfect in 2019, he had to make sure it started somewhere. His part of the fight is right there, Allison offered to rumour him to forget her, he refused to do so, saying he didn't want to forget her or their time together.
"Yeah, I don't blame him, I'd never want to forget you, Allison." Luther told her plainly.
"I would take my year with you over a lifetime with anybody else."
"That's so cute." Vanya smiled as Allison blushed. Ok, maybe it was.
The two of them kissed as there was a knock at the door, opening it they saw the Swedes, who attacked, grabbing Allison by the throat.
"GET AWAY FROM HER!" Luther cried at the screen as he saw her being forced back and choking.
Sissy came back to fins Vanya packing her bags and their bags, Sissy saying she had to tell Carl, Vanya explained Carl was planning to send Harlan away and they had to go, Sissy agreeing it was time to leave and telling Harlan they were going for a drive. Sissy went and grabbed her cash for a rainy day, before looking around in shock, thinking of what they were doing.
"She's about to do something stupid, delaying like that." Klaus said. "I've seen it before. She's hesitating, rethinking. She's not fully invested in it, it's like you said, she's using you, Vanya."
"I know, I'm worried too about what she's going to do." Vanya stated.
The lawyer asked Ben where he was going, Ben telling him he could do everything Klaus could do, but asking him to tell Jill that rolling with her in the dirt was the greatest moment of his life. Ben giving him wisdom of "Oh my god, we're back, again."
"First Klaus, now you're doing it?" Diego groaned.
Allison and the younger Swede fought as the elder beat up Raymond, before Allison jabbed a hoover pipe into the younger's eyes, causing him to bleed. As she struggled away from him, the scene cut to Ben and Klaus again, as Ben forced himself into Klaus's body again and again.
"Go Allison!" Luther cheered.
"Hopefully you two get here in time." Five said. "We need to go, remember?"
Luther and Five waited in the alley, wondering where everyone was, as Ben and Klaus arrived, before Klaus finally forced Ben out of his body, by vomiting him up, covering Ben in his vomit, as Five asked where the others were.
"Well at least you two idiots made it." Five stated.
"If we made it before the others, you know the others won't." Klaus informed him as Five sighed.
"Yeah, I know."
Raymond stabbed the eldest in the leg from behind before being grabbed in a headlock, Allison turned to the eldest.
"Go Raymond!" Klaus cheered.
"I heard a rumour, you killed your brother." Before watching, holding Raymond as the two Swedes fought, until the eldest strangled his brother to death, before the eldest fled from the house in horror and shame.
"Damn, I know it's hard to see, but you did what you had to do, Allison." Luther told her as she nodded, watching in shock as she ordered a man to kill another. Sure, they had tried to kill her, but it still shocked her to see it.
As Vanya, Sissy and Harlan drove down the road, they saw two state trooper cars blocking the way, Sissy admitted she left a note.
"Idiot!" Allison told the screen.
"Knew it." Klaus called.
Diego awoke in the Commission, being introduced to the Handler by Lila.
"Well, now I get to meet the crazy in person." Diego rolled his eyes.
Klaus asked what was happening as Five and Luther panicked about none of them being there, Klaus asking him to be quieter as Five blasted him, before the Briefcase went off, Five flinging it away as it departed, leaving them stuck in 1963.
"Well, there is goes, any hope of doing this the easy way." Five stared at the floor, despairing for the idiocy of his siblings.
Vanya pulled over as they reached the blockade, seeing it was Carl's brother who was holding them up, before Vanya threatened to hurt them, she began to use her powers, sending the troops flying backwards, before Carl's brother hit her with the butt of his rifle, knocking Vanya out, as the screen turned to black again.
"Vanya!" the siblings called out in worry as they saw her go down.
"I'm sure I'll be fine." Vanya assured them.
"What will happen? Where will they take her?" Luther asked.
"I don't know, but it won't be good." Five said.
