[Im gonna have small sections, shown in {} that let you know the feelings and thoughts going through a characters head. i know i had it like () before, but {} is just more recognizable. its also harder for steven to read the minds of people he doesnt know very well, so where he could read pearls flawlessly, he'll have more trouble with the diamonds, jasper, ect.]

"We wait for them... and then we ambush."

Steven says, with a determined and angry tone*

"But... how do you propose we do this? the diamonds... i mean... theyre formidable! and they have spinel too! she has a rejuvinator!"

Steven chuckles slightly*

"Oh, that doesnt concern me one bit. if i could not just stop, but dismantle an empire by being nice, and not being at my full potential... i think i can stop a few diamonds by being, at the very least what feels like could be my full potential."

"I... I cant argue with that..."

Jasper says reluctantly.*

Jasper:{Somethings off... i feel... wrong? is this the right thing to do?}

Jasper glances up at steven, seeing the look on his face, a look that only wants revenge, and to cause pain to others. that wasnt a look normally seen on steven... no... it wasnt normal at all... he looked... kind of scary actually... seeing him this way... watching him look around, waiting for the others to arrive, just so he can destroy them... this wasnt steven anymore... and even if it was... it sure didnt seem like it.*

Japser:{Maybe it isnt right... but he could shatter me within seconds... so i think ill just have to go with it... at least for now...}

Jasoer looks down at her arm, where she still has a rejuvinator hidden, her getting slight ideas, but being scared of going through with them*

"Hey Jasper? Is this... the right thing to do?"

Jasper jumps slightly at his voice, but settles down again*

"T-Thats up for you to decide... my diamond..."

Steven nods, then thinking for a second*

"Im not gonna doubt it. thatll only stall me and hinder my ability to fight."

Jasper nods slightly, seemingly more fidgety than normal, her scratching at her arm slightly and moving her fingers around every once in a while.*

Jasper:{Should i say it? what if he gets mad? i dont want him to loose my importance to him... but hes sharing similar doubts... what if hes fine with it? ugh, dangit Jasper, make up your mind!}

"You okay Jasper?"

"Huh, oh, uh... yes... im fine... yeah."

Steven:{Am i actually doing this? I almost dont believe it... im supposed to be Mr. Nice guy... right? No... No, im not supposed to be anything... Right?}

Steven plops himself down on the sand, Cross legged, sitting and thinking. Japser notices this and sits down next to him.

"Are you okay my diamond?"

"Oh, uh... yeah, I'm fine... I just... this feels... weird, to say the least..."

"That makes sense... You've been the savior of the universe or whatever for... a long time. Nicest person someone could know. This is a long ways from your usual personality."

"Yeah... Yeah, I guess so... It just feels... Funny... To be nice to so many people for so long, then, just like that, I decide to just... give that up."

"Yeah... But you're a diamond. You get to do as you please."

Steven cringes slightly at that, pausing and lifting his shirt slightly, looking at his gem in its new orientation.

"Why... why did all of this have to happen now?"

Jasper looks at his gem, eyes widening slightly. She hadn't quite registered earlier when they were Peach Unakite that his gem had shifted like that.

"I... Im not sure. Im not exactly familiar with how you... Humans... work..."

Steven puts his shirt back down and runs his hands down his face.

"Its stressful... But it needs to be done."

Meanwhile, back at homeworld...

(W)"How do we stop him then? If hes set on this, and since he's practically unstoppable with pinks powers... how do we go about that?"

"Im not sure... Im... I really dont know... Amethyst and Garnet are who knows where, the house is destroyed, he can read minds apparently, he knows how to control his diamond powers apparently, and now hes out for vengeance!"

Pearl says, worried out of her mind at this point.

(B)"Out for vengance? its really gotten that bad... hasnt it... oh we messed up... we royally messed up... its all our fault hes like this..."

(Y)"Its Okay blue... I know you're sad, but we have to focus on helping him, and not what caused the problem in the first place."

"Ya knows... I think i may have an idea... what if we... apologize? I means... it may not fix it immediately, but if we apologize... it might make things a bit better..."

Says Spinel, hoping its a good idea.

"That... actually might work... but... it cant just be as an idea... we have to actually want to apologize to him... I know I do... I messed up... badly... and I know that. I just want him to know how sorry I actually am for this all..."

Says Pearl.

(W)"I ruined everyones lives with the empire... I now know that, and I regret it. Even if he doesn't accept my apology, I want him to know I'm still sorry."

(Y)"Me and blue did the same... We all need to apologize... even if he doesnt accept our apologies, he needs to know we are actually sorry."

After a while of talking things through, they set off with a plan, the diamonds and spinel getting on the ship, and pearl warping back to the house. Lets just hope nothing bad happens...
