Don't own anything except my story or any OCs I may or may not introduce.

Whenever I write this story, I listen to DBD music, Daylight by David Kushner, or 'Song of the Ancients' to help me write this stuff. Also the news of two new games inspired by the Entities realms also sounds exciting. And the 2v8 game mode has been amazing. Plus, it's given me more ideas of what power to give Philip.

Either way, I have a poll on my Discord about whether I should add romance. Here's the discord link if you wanna vote. Hope to see you there! Or if not, that's fine.

(Popola)

A month and a half has passed since the news of an android desecrating their creators surfaced. Like other androids, Popola and her sister Devola reacted with outrage. However, due to the presence of the other android, most of the other androids' anger towards them has lessened. But that doesn't mean they were treated any better. Just tolerated more. This made things more tolerable at the camp and improved her sister's mood. But she is still distrustful of other androids, as usual.

Currently, she and her sister are on another assignment by Anemone to take out a pack of machines that have surfaced.

"Uh, these assignments always suck!" complained her sister Devola.

"I know, dear sister, but Anemone wouldn't assign them if they weren't important." Reasoned Popola.

"Hmph, whatever you say." She huffed, not sounding a bit convinced by her sister's reasoning. Popola only sighs before they continue to walk in silence towards the location of their assignment. After a while, Devola spoke again.

"So, what do you think of the android that everyone keeps discussing at camp?"

"The desecrator? What else is there to say? They committed a heinous sin and deserve to die." Said Popola with conviction.

"Wow, sis, judge, jury, and executioner, but I agree. If we find that bastard, we'll kill him ourselves. But if only we can fucking find him. The bastard keeps using his invisibility bell to run away like a coward. And I swear that bell is getting on my nerves." Popola could only nod in agreement with her sister.

While they haven't caught a glimpse of the android, they have seen images of them. And it's all thanks to YoRHa's pods. Now, every android knows how the android looks cause of the many videos and images they've managed to take. And to say the android's design was strange was an understatement.

But as they continued to walk, they heard the familiar sound of a ringing bell. Both stopped in their tracks and tried to pinpoint the bell's location.

"It came near the river of water." Said Devola.

"The android always seems to stay near water sources."

"Well, you've seen how much smoke is coming off them. They probably have a faulty cooler and are using the water to regulate their temperature." She reasoned, to which Popola simply hummed in agreement.

"We'll report it to Anemone later when we finish our assignment." Devola simply nodded, and they continued on undisturbed. But mid-way through their walk, they tensed up as if something ghostly was watching them.

(Philip)

When Philip saw the familiar redheads, he couldn't help but follow them. He doesn't know why, but he feels a strange pull towards them, almost like when he got signals from the Entity. But this felt different; rather than a distant illusionary explosion, it was more of a faint shimmer. It was the reason why he stopped midway while heading to meet Jackass.

So, following closely, Philip began to silently stalk the two. Even hearing their conversation about him. Which a part of him did confuse him a bit. Why are they calling him an android? What's that? Other than that, he was a bit disappointed that they also wanted to kill him. He was also concerned about them trying to pinpoint where he was likely staying. Which gave him more of a reason to sleep in the spirit realm.

But thanks to Jackass, he was able to sleep in peace outside the spirit realm thanks to her. As he followed the twins, they came upon some machines, which they took care of with surprising efficiency. And Philip had to admit they were terrifying and skilled with their serrated sword. They continued when they finished the last robot off, and he followed.

(Devola)

Devola has been getting a chill behind her spine for the past hour, almost as if they were being watched. But every time she looked back, she saw no one. But she wasn't the only one who felt like this. Her sister, too, was getting the same chills. And in honest truth, it's pissing her off. She was more than tempted to yell out in frustration. But kept it in so as not to attract unwanted attention from any more machines. She would also hear a quiet, garbled growl occasionally. But like always, she saw no one near them making those sounds.

"I swear whoever is following us is pissing me off." Growled out Devola.

"The feeling is mutual." Said her sister, showing some irritation to her usual calm demeanor.

"Let's just get this over with." With a sigh, they continued, more eager to finish this mission.

(Jackass)

While Jackass was waiting for Philip, she was examining his blood under the microscope. What she found was unbelievable. The same condition Philip had showed on his cells. Microscopic amounts of smoke were emanating from his blood. But Jackass hasn't been able to find out why. Only a hypothesis, which is why Philip must show up.

But as she thought of Philip, she couldn't help but feel solemn. She has lied to that man about her being human. And she still feels reluctant to tell him the whole truth. That man has been through hell and betrayed, and she doesn't want to sever her bond with the only human she's ever met. But she knows that she has to eventually. Which is today. Once she does some experiments with him, she'll tell the truth and reveal him to the camp.

"Still, what is taking that man so long?"

(Philip)

As Philip followed the twins, they eventually reached the area they were heading towards. And he was surprised when he saw a giant robot in the distance. Many smaller robots surrounded the giant robot. He also saw a few of them have a sword. He then saw the twins taking out their swords and running towards them.

'Are they crazy!?' screamed Philip in his mind as he saw them rush towards the large crowd of machines. But he saw how effectively they dealt with the large numbers. It was beautiful. How they swerved and ducked under attacks or acrobatically dodged some of them. And he would've continued to watch them if he didn't see one of them get hit.

The wavy-haired redhead let out a cry of pain as one of the bigger bipedal robots managed to cut her.

"Devola!" As the other woman was now more occupied with her sister, Philip decided to do something stupid and try to help them. Climbing up one of the many buildings, he reached a floor that gave him a good shot at the machines below. Uncloaking, he grabbed his bow and aimed his bow.

As he let an arrow loose, he watched as one of the nearby robots fell down dead, hitting it between its eyes.

(Popola)

"Devola!" Popola rushed to her sister's side as she tried to diagnose the damage while ignoring the distant tolls of a ringing bell.

"I'm fine, I'm fine! It was just a minor scratch- Popola, look out!" Popola saw a machine raise its sword above its head as she turned. It was about to strike her when an arrow suddenly hit the machine between its eyes. They both stood in shock before turning their head to see where the arrow came from. From one of the buildings, they saw the wanted android as they were waving their hand at them. They looked exactly as they were described, with smoke coming off them and ghostly glowing white eyes.

"Is that who I think it is?" Said Devola.

"Yes, it is." But their musing was cut short as they were reminded of the machine they were surrounded by. "But we have more important things to focus on!"

Devola rushed forward and cut a machine in two while Popola, ducking underneath a biped swing, slashed it from behind before continuing on to the next. As they pressed on, a stubby hopped towards Popola, but an arrow from the other android in the building sent the stubby crashing to the ground, motionless.

She continued to run and cut down any other machines that got in her way while also keeping an eye on the Goliath, who, for some reason, hadn't moved at all and was instead cowering in fear. But seeing as it hasn't moved yet, she focused on the other machines still attacking her and her sister. But not fully letting her guard down against it.

As she observed her sister fending off the other machines, she saw one trying to get an upper hand on her sister. Just as she was about to shout a warning to her, an arrow pierced through the head of the machine, causing it to crumple to the ground beside Devola. The unexpected turn of events elicited a startled gasp from Devola as she registered the sudden action. But she quickly focused back on dealing with the other machines.

As for Popola, she gave a quick wave of thanks to the android, to which they responded with a wave of their own. She then continued her attack on the other machines. As she weaved and slashed through the machines, she noticed a few heading toward the android location. He also took notice and began focusing his fire on them. She was tempted to let the machines handle the defiler, but after he saved her and her sister a few times, she might as well pay back the favor.

So, dashing towards them, she swung her blade with graceful precision, cutting them into many pieces of scrap. But she still needed to be done as more continued to enter the building. But as soon as they did, she saw the defiler raise his bell and burn away, turning invisible. Hearing the familiar woosh, she huffed before running back to her sister.

After handling the last few machines, Devola and Popola were only left with the Goliath. As the other machines were now taken care of, it stopped cowering and looked at the two.

"Thank you. If you two hadn't come, who knows what would've happened." They both stood there in shock, hearing the Goliath thank them.

"You're, uh, welcome." Replied Devola, unsure how to react to this. "Why are you out here?"

"I heard of a group of pacifist machines near the woods and hoped to join them."

"You mean Pascal?" Said Devola.

"Yes, them! Do you know where they are?" Both Devola and Popola looked at each other before nodding. They gave the Goliath directions on where to find Pascal's village. Once they were finished, the two waved goodbye at the Goliath as they watched it leave, hearing its thumbs grow distant.

Once alone, a bell rang behind them, and they both spun, raising their swords at the source of the sound. Who stood in front of them was the android that defiled their creators. And they both gave him a dirty look. But knowing they did help them, they decided to give them a chance.

(Philip)

"What do you want?" Said the wavy-haired redhead with clear hostility.

Philip coughed a bit, trying to clear a bit of congestion in his throat before speaking, "I just want to talk, that's all," said Philip, raising his hand to show him that he was harmless.

"Then talk."

"Look, I don't know what I did in the past weeks or months. I don't know. Times is hard to read. But I'm sorry if I offended any of you in any way." Explained to Philip that he may have been attracted to the twins for another reason. Seeing as he did help them, he hoped they would hear him out, which it seems they are. Plus, Jackass had told him to lay low for a bit as she tried to find a way to clear his name.

"Is this a joke?" Questioned the straight-haired one, sounding offended.

"No, no, I honestly don't know what I did. I just came into the camp and was instantly labeled as a defiler and attacked. I had to flee the camp confused and injured as to why I was chased out." They both eyed him uncertainly before seeing he meant what he was saying.

"Our creators. You used them as tools and desecrate their remains." Explained Popola.

"What do you mean?" They both flared up with anger, but the straight-haired one calmed down, but not the wavy one.

"Your bell! The makeshift weapon! You defiled our creators! Made them into fucking tools for your own use! You should be ashamed of yourself, an android desecrating their own creators!" Screeched the woman, and Philip couldn't help but back up at their screaming.

But her words only confused him more. "What do you mean creators? You mean my mother and father? I Would never do such a thing to them! I respected them too much for me to do such a horrible deed!" said Philip, sounding offended.

"What? No, I mean humanity, our creators! You know the humans on the moon." Philip, hearing that humans are on the moon, stared in shock. But also confusion.

"Humans are on the moon? And what do you mean, your creators? Aren't you human?" Questioned Philip.

The twins lowered their weapons and started looking just as confused as Philip.

"N-no." Said the straight-haired one, sounding calmer. "Are you saying that... you're human?" Philip's eyes scanned the two briefly, unsure why they were making a big deal out of this.

"I... am. Why are you acting like that's a big deal?"

"Devola." said the straight-haired one.

"W-what?" The redhead then extended her arm, holding out her sword for her sister to hold. They do so, and the straight-haired redhead begins to approach him slowly. Once they were face to face, she spoke again.

"Can you prove it?" She said, sounding anxious as well as hopeful.

Philip stood there, confused as to why they were acting like this. But he nodded anyway. "You can hear my heartbeat if that proves it to you."

The redhead nodded and slowly brought her ear towards his chest. He stands in awkward silence as a woman plants his face on his chest. But his musing was cut when he heard the small hiccups from the woman as she began to slowly cry.

"Devola. Devola! He's human. He's human!" She sobbed uncontrollably as she clung to Philip. Philip stood there in shock, his arms hanging by his sides as the woman embraced him. Confusion showed on his face, and he was left utterly lost.

And done! Expect a few writing mistakes since I finished this on an all-nighter. Either way, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Tried doing a bit of a fight scene, but I still suck. Now for comments!
