Summoning Ship Girls in Danmachi

Prologue

"Man I am exhausted after today. I can't wait to get home so I can have time to play Azur Lane. Hopefully I can finally get the last bit of XP for Flandre" I say to myself walking in the door of my house after finishing another 12-hour day of work. Might be sad to some people but the only reason I work so hard is so I can buy everything I can for my Ship Girls. I started playing Azur Lane in 2020 when I had plenty of down time and I was hooked instantly.

I still remember the day I started and chose Laffey as my starter. Considering how much we both love drinks and sleeping just felt like the natural choice. It's been 4 years since then and I have quite the fleet built up including my all-time favorite Battleship New Jersey (The Black Dragon herself). When she calls me "Honey" my heart skips a beat every time.

"Hmm I think I'll start with farming the new event hard mode so I can rack up some more Golden Crystal Fragments so I can get the event gun for Mogador while getting XP for Flandre" I yawn as I sit on the couch and start the auto clear.

"Maybe I'll take a quick nap while that's going since I'm so exhausted" I mutter as I put the phone across my chest while ensuring the phone is plugged into the charger. As I fall asleep, I think to myself 'the phone seems to be getting a little hot. Maybe it's from being in the sun all day.'

And that was the last thought I, Casey Sharp, had in this life.

I awaken in a bright room trying to figure out how on earth I got here. 'What the hell is this place. And why can I not feel my body or anything' I freak out as I'm walking-well floating I guess-along the room.

"Well, you are in my domain, as I'm here to make you an offer." I hear a voice laced with such love and care I instantly felt safe and secure despite how freaked out I should be.

'Who are you? And what kind of offer?' I barely get out as a woman shrouded in light comes towards me. I can't make out any specific details regarding her except for the very feminine outline of the lights surrounding her.

"I am what you would call a Goddess. You may call me Luneth." She says as she arrives in front of me. "And I would like to offer you a chance at another life in a different world."

'Wow!' I exclaim 'That's an incredible offer but why me? I'm just a regular guy like everyone else. There has to be people who are much better suited for this kind of thing right?'

"Of course it must be you. Do you remember when you were a teen, and you saved a little girl from being ran over by a car? And how she was gone when you weren't paying attention? That was my daughter who had somehow descended. That is why I offer you this chance, because you have a good and heroic heart."

'I do remember that, but it was so long ago. And when she disappeared, I honestly thought I was just hallucinating the whole encounter. What kind of world would I be going to?' I ask remembering the encounter. At the time nobody but me seemed to remember a girl being there so I thought I was just crazy.

"I'll be sending you to the world of Danmachi. Since you liked the Light Novels and FF so much, I figured it would be perfect for you. And I shall grant you 3 Wishes of your choosing, as long as they are reasonable of course. No wishing for ultimate power and invincibility from the start." She says while lightly chuckling.

'That's so awesome! Never really thought I could ever be this lucky thank you so much' I say my thank as I start to ponder what wishes would benefit me the most. 'Hmm for my first Wish can I have a system that can summon the Ship Girls from Azur Lane to help me fight in that world? Missing them will be the hardest part of being dead if I'm honest' I give a soft depressed laugh as I ask.

"Yes, that can be done. You will start out the same way as you did when you first started being their commander and can choose Laffey, Javalin or Z-23 as your first Ship, the rest you will need to earn. And since their weapons run on bullets and oil normally, they will now run on magic." She says smiling at me.

'Well just like before I will choose Laffey, I love all of my ship girls, but Laffey has been with me since day one and I couldn't ask for a better partner to start. For my second wish I want to share Stats and Skills with anyone I have high affection with' I say stating my choice for my first partner and second wish.

"That is acceptable. I shall give you the ability share stats when at 100 affection and abilities at 200 affection. But you can only pick one Skill to share per girl. Otherwise, it would be too much. Also, the higher their Affection Towards you the stronger they will become just like the game."

'And for my last wish I want to gain Falna 10 times faster. That way we should hopefully be able to keep up with Bells overpowered Skill' I say as I want to be able to grow stronger with my girls faster. Considering we are starting with plot I'll need to get stronger fast or I will lose the girls, and I want to be able to fight so they won't put themselves in danger because I'm so weak.

"Granted. You shall be sent outside of Orario with enough Valis to get you inside and get started. You will also be reverted into your 16-year-old body and the plot will have started already. Now any more questions or are you ready to go?"

'No, I think I am ready. Thank you so much for this opportunity won't let It go to waste.' I sincerely thank Luneth for everything she has done for me. I head through the portal to my new world excited to start this new adventure.

"Hmmm, I wonder if I should have mentioned that in this world of Danmachi Bell is a girl instead. Oh well, I'm sure he won't mind when he finds out." Luneth mumbles to herself as I disappear.
