I just wanted to say that if anyone who reads these drabbles had any suggestions or requests for prompts, I would be happy to hear them & use them!

I hope you have been enjoying them!

For the first time in seventeen long and painful hours, the room was quiet. It was peaceful and beautiful in the light of the rising sun. The most beautiful thing about it in Robert's eyes though, were his wife and his new infant daughter.

While he knew Mama would be upset that it wasn't a boy to secure Downton's future, he couldn't be upset when he saw how wonderful baby Mary Josephine Crawley was. Her tiny hands, button nose, and dark brown eyes were enough to make his heart explode with joy and pride that this was his child. This was his and his amazing wife's firstborn, and she was absolutely perfect.

"Cora?" Robert looked over at her.

She removed her loving gaze off of their sleeping daughter. "Yes?"

"I wanted to tell you how proud I am of you for delivering our baby. And how grateful I am for you. I know I don't say it often enough."

Tears formed in her tired eyes. "Oh, Robert," she smiled softly. "Thank you."
