Omega Leonidas: Now that it's gone on for a bit, has the waiting paid off?
MatiasND: Yeah, it really does. But again, I felt his elimination made the most sense out of the bunch.
It opened on Chris standing on the Dock of Shame.
(Narrated by Chris McLean)
Last time on Total Drama Island! 26 campers past and present were given one more shot to win the million dollar prize! They were sorted into four teams, and given their first challenge...a nostalgia trip to dive off a 1,000 foot high cliff into the lake, and build a hot tub.
The Compassionate Capybaras took the first win of the game, and the Royal Rabbits took the first loss. It's a sad day for rabbit lovers indeed.
At the elimination ceremony, everybody's favorite soda drinker, Zee, was the first one booted. Proving that sometimes a chill attitude gets you nowhere in life.
What other surprises do we have in store? Find out on Total...Drama...Island!
(Cut to Opening and Back)
It opened on a shot of the four cabins. It showed the insides where the Compassionate Capybaras were sleeping soundly in their temporary cabin, which was clean and had deluxe blankets and pillows. The Energetic Eels were sleeping alright, as their cabin was pretty standard. The Council of Men were shivering a bit, as their blankets and pillows were slightly lower quality than the Eel's. And finally, just about every member of the Royal Rabbits were awake.
The loser's cabin was completely decrepit, with broken floorboards, a cracked window, and there weren't even any blankets or pillows...just lumpy mattresses. "...I hate my life." Ezekiel said. "I hate your life too, dude." Topher added. "*dinging noises*" Beardo nodded, simultaneously miserable and bored with the current situation.
It then cut over to the Girl's side. Where Dakota was staring at the ceiling with bags under her eyes, Scary Girl was sleeping in a strange position, and Dawn was meditating on her mattress. "We can't lose again." Dakota stated to herself. It then cut over to The Council of Men, who were all starting to wake up on account of a certain soldier's alarm clock.
"Ugh, five more minutes, Mom!" Tyler exclaimed. "..." B groggily opened his eyes. Meanwhile Brick had already gotten up and dressed, then turned the clock off. "Rise and shine, Cadets!" He cheerfully greeted. "Mornin' teammate!" Rodney said, not at all phased at the early wake up call. "*yawn* Uh-huh, what he said." Raj also got up.
But Damien was still sleeping, on account of wearing headphones and a sleep mask. Brick then walked to the middle of the room and began a speech. "Alright men, three days have passed, meaning it's challenge time." Brick began. "I know, think it'll be something hard, bro?" Raj asked.
"Not sure, but what I do know is this...we must step up our game if we are to win this one. As while we did good last time, we were still second to last." Brick said. "..." B nodded, knowing that was true. "So uh...what's the plan?" Rodney asked. "I noticed that the Capybaras seemed to have a team leader, I think a sense of leadership is what this team needs to make it efficient and strong!" Brick closed a fist to make a point.
"A Team Captain ...? Alright, I'm game." Tyler agreed. "Yeah, no team's complete without one!" Raj added. But before the talk of a leader could continue, it cut over to the Energetic Eels' temporary cabin. Where Justin was sleeping with a mud mask and cucumber slices on his eyes, and Trent was already awake, taking some medicine from a bottle he pulled out of his bag.
(Confessional)
Trent- "I may seem cool on the outside, but on the inside I've got severe anxiety. It's also the reason I acted the way I did back in Action. Because some dick stole my meds and I couldn't think straight for days!"
(Confessional End)
Trent proceeded to sit quietly on his bed, waiting for the inevitable announcement from Chris. He knew his time in this game was short, seeing as Justin had already wooed his other teammates, he was no doubt going home if the Eels lost. "*yawn* Man, that was a good sleep." Justin slowly woke up, removed the cucumber slices from his eyes, then saw Trent.
"Trent, I know we're the only two guys here, but we're not on the level of "staring at each other while we sleep" kind of friendship." Justin said. "Look dude, I've accepted my fate, you already won." Trent said with crossed arms. "Trenton, my man...just because Gwen isn't here doesn't mean you should be moping around the whole game." Justin said with a smug tone of voice.
"...Yeah." Trent rolled his eyes and got off his bed, leaving the cabin.
(Confessional)
Justin- "I've been using my brain a little more since I got here. Which is hard since it's been...about four years since I last had to, but I need to be strategic if I want to beat this many people."
(Confessional End)
It then cut over to the Girl's side of the Eel's cabin, where all the girls were already awake. Eva was doing a morning workout, Emma was attempting to follow Eva's routine, Lindsay and Sammy were doing their makeup, and Amy had grumpily marched outside and was sitting on the cabin steps.
"*pant* *pant* Eva...can you please...ease up for a minute?" Emma asked between breaths. "No, if you want to work out you work out! So stop complaining...tubby." Eva taunted. This caused Emma's face to turn red and for her to puff out her cheeks. "You're lucky you're bigger and stronger than me! Or else I would...really consider doing something bad!" Emma faltered when she remembered who she was talking to.
It then panned over to Lindsay and Sammy. "Hey Sammy?" Lindsay asked. "Yeah?" Sammy answered. "I've been meaning to ask, but why is your sister always so mean?" Lindsay innocently asked. In the three days since she'd arrived, Sammy had warmed up to Lindsay, so she decided to tell.
"Honestly, she's always been like that...even when we were babies and had no real concept of meanness. She's called me Samey since we were four years old, our parents thought it was a funny little nickname she made up since we were twins, but even then she always found ways to make my life miserable." Sammy began.
"Oh...my...gosh." Lindsay gaped. "I wanted to join Total Drama to finally have some time alone from her. But the second she found out what I was doing, she also signed up, not bothering to learn what kind of show it was. So when we both got back home from being eliminated, and there was LOTS of footage online of her being a horrible person...I swear I never saw my parents get that angry before." Sammy continued, smiling a bit at the memory.
"Amy became a complete social outcast, and she hasn't recovered since." Sammy finished. "Wow, I guess karma is a real thing...oh no!" Lindsay suddenly looked scared. "What's wrong!?" Sammy exclaimed. "All those times I stole my sister's dollies when we were kids! I don't want to be a social outcast!" Lindsay began tearing up.
"*sigh* Don't worry Lindsay, you won't." Sammy patted Lindsay on the back before cutting to Amy outside. "*grumble* Stupid show...stupid sister...everything is stupid..." Amy grumbled. And then, continuing the thing from earlier, Trent walked onto the porch of the cabin.
"What do you want, block head?" Amy asked. "Hey, I just wanted to be alone." Trent answered. "Well these steps are taken, so get lost!" Amy yelled. "Fine, you do you." Trent shrugged and walked away. And finally, it cut over to the Compassionate Capybaras. Where just about everyone was still asleep, except for Ella who was brushing her hair and humming to herself.
But just then, Axel kicked down the door to the cabin, looking like she'd just been to a war zone. "Everybody wake up!" She ordered. "W-What the!?" "Heck is going on!?" Katie and Sadie both exclaimed. "*thud* Ouch! Girl, you better have a damn good reason for this." Anne Maria said after bumping her head on the bed above.
"And why are you so dirty?" Mildred asked. "I got breakfast." Axel held up skewers with questionable pieces of meat on them. "*gasp* Oh dear, those poor animals!" Ella gasped. "What kind o' meat even is that?" Anne Maria asked with a raised eyebrow. "Just eat it!" Axel ordered.
(Confessional)
Mildred- "I'm already sick of this Axel girl. She's done nothing but go on about survival and boss everyone around like she's the team leader."
Axel- "I'm whipping my team into shape no matter what it takes. I'm not losing out on a million dollars for a third time!"
(Confessional End)
But before any of the girls could "willingly" eat some of the meat Axel brought, the camp intercom switched on. "Attention campers!" The voice of Chris began. "Please report to the fire pit in ten minutes, it's challenge time!" Chris announced. It then cut over to said fire pit, where the 25 campers were gathered.
"Good morning campers! Sleep well? Actually scratch that, I don't care." Chris said. "Well, already off to a good start." Anne Maria mumbled. "Now, your challenge for today will test your patience, your determination, and your teamwork." Chris began. "Excuse me Chris, not to interrupt but...we haven't eaten breakfast yet." Damien piped up.
"Don't lose your idol Damien, I was getting to that!" Chris chuckled. "You all will have to trek across the island and back again. The winning team will be rewarded with an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet of fried chicken, steak, pancakes, and other things." Chris announced.
"Dude..." "That sounds delicious..." Raj and Brick fist bumped. "No meat for me, I couldn't eat any of my animal brothers and sisters." Dawn said. "*gasp* Me too!" Ella agreed. "I love rare steak, it's the bloodiest kind of steak." Scary Girl added. "I guess I could go for some real food." Amy mumbled. "I pass on the chicken...hehe." Tyler nervously chuckled.
"But this challenge will have a certain twist to it, something a few of you know all too well..." Chris cryptically said, as Chef stepped into frame carrying a fire hose. He turned it on, and sprayed the campers with...maple syrup. "Eww! I'm all sticky!" Amy shouted. "Gah, my hair! Not my hair!" Topher was distraught. "...Whatever." Eva shrugged, not really caring.
"As Chris said, you all gotta trek to the other side of the island by any means, but you DON'T have to do it twice." Chef clarified. "Your goal is to have the most teammates across the finish line by noon, if you get stuck to something then too bad." Chef explained. "*scoffs* Another rehash of an old challenge?" Mildred rolled her eyes.
"Hey, we've got some original ones planned!" Chef countered. "Now, the challenge begins in three...two...one...*HONK*" Chris blew an air horn, and the 25 campers set off into the woods. Well, all except The Council of Men, who were running in the opposite direction.
"Quickly men, we can run across the shoreline!" Brick suggested. "They said get to the other side by any means...and this is a mean." Rodney agreed. "And we're less likely to get stuck to stuff, so I also agree with this." Damien nodded at Brick's suggestion. And after the guys made their way onto the sand, it cut to the inside of the forest where everyone else was.
It first opened on the Royal Rabbits, who were being led by Ezekiel, who at the moment was running on all fours.
(Confessional)
Ezekiel- "I know this island like the back of my hand, eh. And plus I still got a bit o' animal in me, so I can lead the team to the finish line real quick!"
(Confessional End)
"Come on Prairie Boy, we can't lose twice in a row!" Dakota exclaimed. "Plus we NEED that exquisite cabin! I can't get my beauty sleep on a lumpy mattress." Topher said. "Did you know that sleeping too much on a lumpy bed can cause permanent back pain. Which includes painful aches, cracking bones, and trouble walking...?" Scary Girl asked.
"*shriek* I can't let that happen!" Topher began hauling ass and matched Ezekiel's speed. "Hey, that's an interesting theory, Scary Girl. But what's your source for said information?" Dakota asked. "My source is I made it the *bleep* up." Lauren responded. "*Bird noises* Beardo called out. "You have an interesting skill." Dawn complimented. "*applause*" Beardo nodded his head in thanks.
"It makes up for your nervous nature, and apprehensiveness to get to know new people." Dawn said. "*Record scratch*" Beardo did a double take. "It's written all over your aura, and I understand completely." Dawn smiled.
(Confessional)
Beardo- "...That girl is freaky! But yet I feel a little better about myself...huh."
(Confessional End)
Next it cut to the Energetic Eels, who weren't as fast-paced as the Rabbits. Eva was already so far ahead of everyone else, and the rest were sort of bunched together. "Come on gang, if Eva can do such incredible things...so can all of you." Justin said to the group.
"*sigh* He's so...motivational!" Emma exclaimed. "And hot." Amy added. "Oh my gosh, I almost forgot he was hot!" Lindsay shouted. Meanwhile like with the carts, Trent was just watching in silence. "Guys, are we certain this is the right way?" Sammy asked. "Shut up Samey, stay at the bottom of the pole." Amy said. "Whoa!" Trent exclaimed, but everyone else was too focused on Justin to notice Amy's outburst.
After that it cut to the Compassionate Capybaras, who were being led by Axel through a dense part of the island. "First you run, then you jump, then you front flip across this fallen tree!" Axel was shouting out instructions as she ran. After several more minutes of this intense running, she finally looked back to her team to see...absolutely nobody there.
"What the hell!?" Axel shouted in confusion. Axel was then forced to wait for her team to catch up, and when they finally did, she wasn't happy. "Do you mind telling me what took you so long!?" Axel exclaimed. "No offense Army Girl, but we ain't exactly as...how we say...psycho-fit as you." Anne Maria sassed.
"And I'm not exactly as spry as I once was. Sorry for not doing flips and *bleep* like you." Mildred said with her arms crossed. "Why you-" "Wait! Dearest friends, let's not fight. Remember the sap, we will get stuck to who knows how many things." Ella pointed out. "...I'm not waiting up a second time." Axel said, before the Capybaras continued with the challenge.
(Confessional)
Katie and Sadie- "I can't believe how much team drama there already is." "And we're not involved in any of it!" "I never once thought we'd be a...neutral party."
(Confessional End)
And finally it cut to The Council of Men, who were running along the island's coastline. "You know, I didn't think we'd have THIS easy a time with the challenge." Raj said. "It just shows what thinking outside the box can do." Brick replied. It panned over to Tyler, who looked deep in thought.
"Hey dudes, can I ask you something?" He asked. "Of course, teammate." Brick responded. "Have any of you noticed if...Lindsay's been looking at me?" Tyler asked. "That one blonde girl? Not that I know of." Rodney answered. "..." B shrugged. "She looked at you when we first got dropped off on the Dock...but that's about it." Raj said.
"Oh...never mind then." Tyler looked down. But suddenly, the ground began shaking, and from the sand appeared a massive hoard of crabs. Along with the large, mutated hermit crab that's appeared a couple times. "What the- where'd those things come from!?" Damien exclaimed. "I think we need more men..." Rodney commented.
It proceeded to cut to Chris sitting in a lounge chair at some kind of finish line, and facing several computer monitors while holding a remote control. "Did you really think it was going to be a simple run across the island? No, we've got plenty of "fun" obstacles to get in the way!" Chris explained. "And speaking of fun, there'll be plenty of fun times and painful moments when we come back to Total...Drama...Island!" Chris exclaimed.
(Cut to Commercial)
It faded back to the Royal Rabbits, who were still running through the woods. "Are we almost there? Because my legs are getting sore." Topher groaned. "Don't worry, we should be close to a clearing up ahead!" Ezekiel answered. The group walked forward a bit to see not an empty clearing, but Chef holding a tennis ball launcher.
"Hey kids...and goodbye." Chef began firing dozens of tennis balls per second. "Take cover!" Dawn shouted. The Royal Rabbits hid behind anything they could, getting covered in sticks, leaves, and tennis balls the whole time. "You know, I forget how fun it is to play bad cop sometimes." Chef commented, before his gun clicked empty.
"Y'all got lucky this time!" Chef yelled and ran off for a future obstacle. After that, the Royal Rabbits began leaving their hiding places. "Is everyone okay?" Dawn asked. "*dinging sounds*" Beardo made a thumbs up. "I think so, eh." Ezekiel added. "That was fun, let's do it again!" Scary Girl clapped her hands.
"*muffled talking*" Dakota spoke from beneath a pile of tennis balls. "Oh no, he got Dakota!" Topher screamed. "Don't worry, it's just one person. We still have five more." Scary Girl said. "Come on, the island's end is this way!" Ezekiel pointed in front of him. And then it cut to the Energetic Eels, who were still running, but now Amy was leading them.
"Amy, I REALLY don't think this is the right way." Emma pointed out. "*scoffs* Of course it's the right way. I got a perfect score in navigation at Girl Guides camp." Amy bragged. "Only because they got tired of trying to tell us apart and began giving us the same scores..." Sammy muttered.
(Confessional)
Justin- "I suggested making Amy the leader for a few reasons. I'll explain those later..."
(Confessional End)
"*sigh* Look guys no offense...but I think I'm just gonna take my chances out there solo." Trent said. "Are you su-" "Well go then! Less weight slowing us down!" Amy interrupted Emma. "...See ya." Trent haphazardly waved and ran off in a different direction. It then cut over to the Compassionate Capybaras, who were in the exact same situation as last time.
"Damnit, Axel really wasn't lying about leavin' us behind." Anne Maria said. "But at least we're making good progress." Katie added. "We are running...so very fast! At this brisk pace...we shan't be last~!" Ella sang. "Ooh! I think I see something up ahead...something cold?" Sadie pointed out.
The Capybaras exited the forest and were met with a frozen lake surrounded by a guard wall. "Welcome to the lake of frozen dreams!" Chris' voice exclaimed over a radio. "You have to slowly and CAREFULLY step across this homemade ice rink without falling in. Hurry up, you're competing with three other teams." Chris explained before the radio cut out.
The Compassionate Capybaras looked completely disappointed by that news. "Welp, we're boned." Anne Maria said. "We're going to lose so much time!" "What do we do!?" Sadie and Katie cried out. Meanwhile, Mildred walked off and was messing with some rocks and twigs.
"Don't worry, we'll get through this obstacle together. We just need to think of an idea first." Ella encouraged everyone. "Yes...a plan...what kind of plan do we need to accomplish this goal?" Sadie asked nobody in particular. "Well someone better think of somethin', because we can't go from first place to last." Anne Maria said.
But then Mildred came back, holding several pairs of homemade ice skates made of sharpened stones and twigs. "Agreed, but there's a question first...do any of you girls know how to skate?" Mildred asked. "Ice skates?" Katie answered Mildred with a question. "Ah, I have skated many times before!" Ella answered excitedly.
"Well you need to learn quick if we want to make good time. So put them on and let's get out on the ice!" Mildred ordered with urgency. "Whoa whoa whoa! You better have the actions to back up them words, otherwise you're just a second Axel." Anne Maria pointed out.
Mildred responded by fastening the skates to her boots, going onto the ice, and skating masterfully on the frozen lake. She performed figure-8's, spins, jumps, poses, and ended with a long spin in the middle of the lake followed by a pose. Her teammates were for better say...shocked and surprised.
(Confessional)
Katie and Sadie- "Whoa..." "I didn't know Blaineley could do that,"
Anne Maria- "Huh, so the oldie's got some skills."
Ella- "*clapping hands* That was wonderful!
(Confessional End)
Mildred skated back to her teammates. "You girls are looking at the 1989 Minnesota Ice Skating State Champion. So yes...I do have the skills to back up those words." Mildred smugly said. But before anyone else could respond, it cut back over to The Council of Men, who appeared to have escaped the crabs.
"*pant* I think we *pant* lost them!" Damien pointed out. "I...agree!" Brick tiredly agreed. "I think we covered enough ground...we gotta take a break!" Tyler exclaimed. "..." B nodded. "I can keep going, but I don't want to be left out." Rodney added. "Alright team, let's take a ten minute break, then make one last push to the finish." Brick instructed, as the Council sat on some nearby rocks.
"Ugh, this syrup feels so...slimy." Damien was grossed out. "*shrugs* I don't mind it, in fact I consider this practice for my backup career." Raj said. "Oh yeah? What's that, Cadet?" Brick asked. "If hockey doesn't work out for me and my best bud back home, and since we both really love syrup...we're gonna become beekeepers." Raj explained.
"Uhh...you do know that bees don't-" Bro, that's a sick dream!" Damien was interrupted by Tyler, who seemed to have the same beliefs on syrup as Raj. "I wonder if anyone's made it to the other side yet?" Rodney wondered. "We'll just have to take that gamble, besides, what could happen in just ten minutes?" Brick confidently asked his team.
As if to spit on that remark, it cut to Chris sitting in a lounge chair by a brightly illuminated finish line with four colored carpet. And then from the woods ran Eva, who ran to the yellow carpet. "I'm the first one here, what's my prize?" Eva asked expectantly.
"Sorry Eve, but the challenge is whichever team with the most members here by NOON wins immunity. Not which team gets here first." Chris explained. "What!? So now I gotta wait for everyone?" Eva exclaimed. "Yep, sad for you." Chris taunted. "*growl* That is so...so..." Eva looked like she was about to throw something, but then she took several deep breaths.
(Confessional)
Eva- "I wanted to tear Chris a new one when he told me that. But thanks to my Mom, I somewhat have my anger under control...I guess my Aunt Abigail helped too..."
(Confessional End)
It then proceeded to cut back to the Royal Rabbits, who were moving more sluggishly on account of all the stuff stuck to them. "We're almost there, just a straight shot ahead!" Ezekiel called out. "We may actually be first this time, I have a good feeling." Topher said. "We shouldn't jinx ourselves, because you never know what may happen." Dawn added.
And as if to clarify Dawn's point, a stream of water jetted out of the ground and sent Ezekiel flying into the air. "WHOAAAA!" Ezekiel screamed, before crashing into a tree and sticking to it. "Ugh..." Ezekiel groaned before panning back to his other teammates. "Oh no...GEYSERS!" Topher shouted, zooming out to show a field covered in geysers big and small.
"So, our guide is stuck in a tree, and now we're dealing with exploding water spouts? That is so...great." Lauren said. "Hmm, I think there is a way to safely cross this field. And since Ezekiel said we only needed to go straight, we just need to carefully-" "RUSH IT!" Topher suddenly began booking it through the geyser field.
Topher was screaming and avoiding every geyser, and very soon he even made it to the end and kept on running. It cut back to the rest of the Royal Rabbits, who were staring at each other. "Well, I guess if it doesn't kill you..." Scary Girl said. And then she, Dawn, and Beardo began running across the geyser field as well. And soon they all made it across and continued to run to the finish.
It cut back to the carpeted finish line, where not Topher, but Trent soon crossed. "And we finally have another competitor!" Chris began. "It looks like it's the island's resident guitarist, and second member of the Energetic Eels." Chris announced. "Wait, everyone else isn't here yet!?" Trent looked around.
"Hey, what happened to the team?" Eva asked. "Amy was leading us in circles, so I went off alone...I didn't expect to make it here so fast." Trent explained. "Hmph, at least we have two. That's better than nothing." Eva commented, unnerving Trent as he expected a major freak out.
"Well, I guess there's nothing left to do for you both but to just chill...am I right?" Chris asked, not at all serious. "Yeah sure, McLean..." Eva rolled her eyes.
(Confessional)
Trent- "Eva's a lot more...chill(?) this time around. I don't know, it's unnerving but yet it's a major improvement from the raging bull she used to be."
(Confessional End)
It cut back to the Compassionate Capybaras, who were currently ice skating across the frozen lake. "See? That wasn't too hard." Mildred asked while skating backwards. "At this rate, we're sure to win!" Katie exclaimed. But as if Katie jinxed them all, Chef came back.
"Let's get things ROLLING a little bit." Chef made a pun as he loaded a large snowball into a catapult. "*gasp* Incoming!" Ella shouted. Chef pulled the lever of the catapult, and launched the snowball, which hit the ice and started to make it crack. "Girls, skate as fast as you can!" Mildred ordered.
and skate they did, as the Compassionate Capybaras were somehow able to out skate the crumbling ice rink, and make it to the other side. "Well, I tried." Chef shrugged and walked away.
"Is everyone okay?" Ella asked. "Yep, looks like we made it out a-okay!" Anne Maria answered...before the piece of ice she was carelessly standing on broke, and she was now waist-deep in water. "What the hell!?" She shouted. "Anne Maria!/Anne Maria!" Katie and Sadie exclaimed.
Katie, Sadie, Ella, and Mildred quickly helped Anne Maria out of the water. But as soon as she was out, a big problem arose... "Hey, I can't move my legs!" Anne Maria shouted. "*gasp* Oh no! The syrup surrounding your lower half completely hardened." Sadie gasped. "It must've been the ice water, syrup crystallizes when it touches water!" Katie finished.
"...What? We paid attention in school." Sadie said. "That's all well and good...but I can't walk!" Anne Maria angrily exclaimed. "Looks like we'll have to leave you behind for now." Mildred said. "Nuh-uh! You better not or I swear I'll pummel you, old bag!" Anne Maria threatened.
"...Now I'm definitely leaving you here. Also, 38 isn't THAT old!" Mildred sassed. Soon Mildred, Katie and Sadie ran off. "...Sorry Anne, we DO have a challenge to win..." Ella said before running off to join the others. "*groan* Just peachy..." Anne Maria grumbled.
It then cut to The Council of Men, who were done resting and back to running. "Is it just me, or have things been a little...easy?" Tyler asked. "..." B nodded. " At least we haven't run into anything weird besides the crabs." Brick said. But at that moment the team heard something strange.
"Hello!? Can anybody hear me!?" An annoyed voice shouted from behind some rocks. The Council of Men carefully looked behind said rocks to see...Axel stuck to the side of the beach wall. "Oh...it's the enemy team." Axel crossed her arms. "And it's the Capybara's team Captain...say, where are they exactly?" Brick asked.
"They couldn't keep up with me, so they're probably miles behind!" Axel shouted from frustration. "You left your ENTIRE team behind!? A true team leader would never abandon his squad!" Brick exclaimed. "Yeah, thanks for the Army lesson. Now help me down!" Axel demanded.
"Why? Wouldn't we just get stuck to you on account of the sap?" Raj asked. "I don't care, just...I'm really uncomfortable right now!" Axel squirmed around. "Axel, if it was up to my sole vote, admittedly I would help you. But since this team is built on democracy, we will-" "NO!" Tyler, Damien, and Raj exclaimed. "..." B shook his head. "Maybe we should..." Rodney said, appearing to be lovesick from Axel's yelling.
"Majority says no, sorry Axel." Brick apologized, before he and the rest of the Council continued on. "Hey! Don't you dare leave me! I'll remember this!" Axel shouted at the team. It then cut back to the finish line, where nothing much was happening. "Seriously? Almost two hours and only two people have made it here?" Chris asked nobody, completely annoyed.
But right at that moment, Topher, Scary Girl, Beardo, and Dawn all crossed the finish. "Scratch that, most of the Royal Rabbits just crossed the finish line!" Chris announced. "We did...? We made it!" Topher began celebrating, which caused Dawn to join in, Beardo to make dinging sounds, and for Scary Girl to silently smile at the camera.
"But you're not in the clear yet, there's still one more hour, and that's plenty of time for the other teams to arrive." Chris pointed out. "You don't know that...there's lots of hungry, vicious beasts on the island that would love to "play" with everyone." Scary Girl giggled.
(Confessional)
Beardo- "Hopefully we don't come in last again, because you never know where you are on the chopping block."
Topher- "So the psycho goth girl is a fan favorite...and I'm not!? I swear the fans of this show have some messed up standards."
(Confessional End)
It briefly cut back to the Energetic Eels, who were still lost. "Are we there yet?" Lindsay tiredly asked. "If we were, then we wouldn't still be walking." Justin answered. "We'd probably be there by now if SOMEONE didn't get us lost in the first place." Amy glared at Sammy.
"See, you didn't even try with that one! We all know it was you that screwed everything up!" Emma shouted. "*scoffs* Of course you'd take Samey's side, you probably don't have any REAL friends any-" But Amy couldn't finish, on account of Emma's fist punching her straight in the face.
Lindsay and Sammy were quietly watching, not wanting to risk making this a 3-way or even a 4-way fight. Meanwhile Justin was looking around like he didn't inadvertently cause this whole mess.
(Confessional)
Justin- "Okay, I made Amy leader just to get in good with her...maybe I didn't think this the whole way through."
Emma- "So me and Bowie may not be "besties" anymore. And a lot of my old "friends" abandoned me after a majority of my followers left following my breakup with Chase. And...what was I saying?"
Amy- [With a black eye] "Emma's going down...she will!"
(Confessional End)
"What the hell, girl!?" Amy shouted. "We're going this way and that's that!" Emma pointed to her right side. "Any objections?" She asked. Lindsay, Sammy, and even Justin shook their heads no. "...Fine, you win." Amy folded. "Then onward to victory!" Emma exclaimed as the Energetic Eels set off.
It cut back to The Council of Men, who were now climbing the small cliffs overlooking the shore. "Once we get over these rocks, we should be near our destination." Brick explained. "I hope so, because I haven't had to run this far since that fun run in Junior High." Damien gasped.
"Dude, you should probably work out more." Tyler suggested. The men climbed for literally a few more seconds, and when they one by one reached the top. "No way..." Raj said. "..." B silently agreed. The camera panned over to show the finish line, and Chris sitting in his lounge chair.
"Well well well, if it isn't The Council of Men. Pretty unorthodox game plan, but it paid off because you're all in first place...at the moment!" Chris exclaimed. At this news, The Council of Men began cheering as if they just won the lottery. "What? Aw come on." Trent said.
"Hey cheer up, you still got seven as opposed to their six. As long as your whole team crosses, you should be golden." Chris explained. "Rest up, Cadets. That brunch is in our sights." Brick said with determination. "You got it...Team Captain!" Raj slapped Brick on the back. "Yeah, smart play, dude." Tyler agreed. "..." B shot Brick a thumbs up.
"Hey, what about us!?" Lauren suddenly shouted. It panning over to the gathered members of the Royal Rabbits. "Oh yeah...Royal Rabbits, I'm sad to say that you won't be receiving the reward today." Chris answered with fake sadness. "Seriously?" Topher asked. "No...I don't feel remotely sad for you guys!" Chris smirked at his comeback.
It then cut on over to the Compassionate Capybaras. "We must hurry, a numerate of people have probably arrived already!" Ella worriedly exclaimed. "But there's also a chance we won't be last...so there's a positive." Mildred tried to be encouraging. "Chef explained that we had to have the MOST teammates across the island, what if four isn't enough?" Katie asked.
"Do you not have any faith in Axel? She is a very strong competitor." Ella responded. "...What if four isn't enough!?" Katie reiterated. "Worrying won't solve anything, girls. Now is the time to prove your place here!" Mildred encouraged. "...Yeah! Because me and Katie, for years we've been called "Wasted Potential", "Annoying Early Boots", and so many other things!" Sadie huffed.
"Aww, that was a good speech, Sadie." Katie complimented. "Aww, thank you for the compliment, Katie." Sadie complimented back. "Then let's get out there and win!" Mildred put up a fist, and the rest followed.
(Confessional)
Mildred- "With Axel abandoning us, this team needs some REAL leadership. And from what I've seen...no real contest."
(Confessional End)
The Capybaras continued to run until they came across a quicksand pit. "Capybaras, your next obstacle is a pit full of deadly quicksand!" Chris' voice exclaimed from over a speaker. "Can you make it across safely? Or will you claw and struggle your way to defeat?" Chris continued...except the Compassionate Capybaras weren't even listening as they decided to go AROUND the quicksand.
"What the-? Hey! Don't you ignore me! This is a perfectly good opportunity to waste time by bantering with each other about the obstacle!" The annoyed voice of Chris shouted, before cutting back to the Energetic Eels. The Eels were running through the forest, and they were actually making progress.
"Come on, I remember some of this from the last seasons." Emma instructed her teammates. "Yes, we could actually make a comeback!" Sammy happily exclaimed. "Just as long as we actually know where we're going." Justin added. A little more running later, and the exit to the forest was visible.
"There, we made it!" Sammy pointed out. "I can't believe it..." Amy admitted. "Hello Chris, it's the Energetic Eels, back for a second victory!" Emma shouted, as the group exited the forest...and then their collective reactions turned from happiness to fear. The Eels weren't at the finish line as they'd hoped, but back at the campgrounds.
"We're back to where we started!" Amy shouted. "I...we...it can't..." Emma was struggling to find words. "Wait, does this mean we...lose?" Lindsay asked. "Don't worry, we still got time. Plus I'm sure at least one of the teams were as lost as we were." Justin assured.
To make a rebuttal to Justin's claim, it cut over to the Compassionate Capybaras, who were proceeding to cross the finish line. "*pant* *pant* We did it!" Ella panted. "Good job, girls." Mildred congratulated her team. "Congrats, Capybaras, you got here just in the nick of time.
As Chris said that, his watch started to beep. "Because looks like it's twelve o'clock on the dot, meaning one more second and you would've lost embarrassingly." Chris explained before reaching down and grabbing a microphone. "Attention all stragglers still in the woods!" Chris' voice boomed across the island. "It is now high noon, meaning the challenge is over, and the rest of you are straight outta luck!" Chris announced.
It briefly cut back to the Energetic Eels, who now looked completely heartbroken. "Way to go Emma, you caused this loss!" Amy huffed and walked away.
(Confessional)
Emma- "Okay, so being the second one voted out isn't so bad. I mean, it proved the point that I should never try taking charge of anything...*sniffs*"
(Confessional End)
It cut back to the 25 campers gathered back at the camp, and they were now "syrup-free". "Alright campers, let's tally the results." Chris began. "For first place, since they got all their members there first, and in one fell swoop nonetheless...The Council of Men are today's winners." Chef announced.
"Woo!" "Yeah baby!" "Alright!" Damien, Tyler, and Rodney all celebrated. "As for second and third. Since they both got four members across the finish line, we'll go by whoever did it first. Meaning that second place goes to...the Royal Rabbits, and third goes to the Compassionate Capybaras!" Chef continued.
The Rabbits proceeded to start celebrating, while the Capybaras were bittersweet about going from first all the way to third. "So from process of elimination, the Energetic Eels get last place, and thus are up for elimination." Chef finished. "..." The Energetic Eels could only stand in silence at the news.
"Council of Men, as promised, you won the prize of an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet! You may report to the Mess Hall." Chris pointed to said building. "All right!" "Yes, I'm starving!" Brick and Raj exclaimed before the men rushed offscreen. "The rest of you...I'm sure Chef can whip you up some hot gruel." Chris chuckled as he walked away.
It cut to a nighttime shot of the Energetic Eels approaching the Elimination area. Amy was holding an ice pack on her black eye, and then it transitioned to the seven campers sitting by the fire pit. "Energetic Eels, what can I say? I was expecting a little more...energy from you today." Chris joked.
"Ha ha, real funny." Eva rolled her eyes. Chef then stepped forward and proceeded to recap. "Trent, when you're team was falling apart, you decided to ditch them." Chef began. "Hey, I made it to the finish line." Trent countered. "Amy, you're horrible sense of direction got your team so lost, you spent a majority of the time arguing instead of looking for the exit." Chef continued.
"*scoffs* Whatever..." Amy crossed her arms. "And Emma, you tried to lead everyone to the finish line, but just ended up at the starting line again." Chef finished. "Um...maybe that's what happened." Emma nervously agreed. "So, with all that out of the way, tonight's marshmallows go to..." Chris picked up the platter of marshmallows.
"...Eva, Justin, Lindsay, Sammy, and Trent!" Chris called out, leaving Amy and Emma. "Now, the final marshmallow of the night goes to..." Chris paused.

"Emma!" Chris threw the marshmallow at Emma. "What!?/What!?" Amy and Emma both exclaimed. "Emma did make a BIG mistake...but at least she's not a raging bitch." Trent explained. "And plus she punched you, and I respect that." Eva nodded. "You...you...YOU...!" Amy was breathing hard.
"The Dock of Shame is over there." Chris pointed offscreen, but Amy didn't budge. "...Chef?" Chris asked. And then Chef slung Amy around his shoulder, then carried her all the way down to the dock. "This isn't over! I will return!" Amy tried to swear vengeance, but the Drone of Despair appeared and grabbed the back of her shirt collar.
"No, wait!" Amy screamed as she was carried off. "Seriously, what is wrong with that girl?" Chris shook his head. "Anywho...what other dramatic things will happen? And will our next elimination be as intense as this one? Find out on the next episode of Total...Drama...Island!" Chris exclaimed.

And there you have it, episode two of Total Drama: One More Shot. I personally felt satisfied at how this chapter came out, but it's still very early on in the story, so we'll see how it evolves.
As for the elimination, we all knew Amy wasn't making it very far. I did BRIEFLY consider keeping Amy around for a little longer, but that would've meant either eliminating Emma or Trent. And I still have plans for those two, so Amy was sent packing instead.
Well that's about it, I guess there's nothing left to say but look out for more.
