In Section 13 the Dino Masers headed to Captain Black's office with the Oni Mask that the team captured from Shendu's Palace along with a note from Jackie.
"Captain Black's office should be up ahead," said Master Tyranno as the tri found Captain Black talking to General Jack O'Neil and Junior Arkeyan Governess Luna of the Cosmic Arkeyans and Princess Luna was leading the discussion.
"I propose we go on the offensive and hit Arcanon's empire head on where it hurts," Princess Luna suggested much to the surprise of O'Neil and Black.
"And by that what do you have in mind?" Captain Black asked since he and O'Neil knew the Junior Arkeyan Governors were ready to go on the offensive with their first major strike.
"The other Junior Arkeyan Governors and I have been working on a plan," The Junior Cosmic Arkeyan Governess spoke, "And we were thinking of attacking the enemy's wallet."
"Great idea your highness," General O'Neil said, "Attacking the wallets of not only Arcanon but everyone aligned with or protected by him is a great start and should send a message that earth is starting to fight back."
"Excuse me but we couldn't help but overhear something about attacking Arcanon's Wallet and finances," Master Ptera spoke as the Dino Master Trio arrived, "What can we do to help and where do we start?"
"Master Ptera's right," said Master Tricera, "Arcanon's Organization has a lot of funding sources for dark money. Arms dealing and trafficking, drug trafficking, human trafficking, extortion, black mail, etc."
"Correct but we only need one to start or perhaps even two," Cosmic Arkeyan Princess Luna replied. "It involves one of Arcanon's high ranking staff known only as The Merchant, an illegal gambling den, Milan, Italy and this."
The team saw the Soccer Ball Princess Luna was holding and for Master Tyranno it clicked right away knowing what this was about.
"Okay I get the first source but what of the second source?" Master Tyranno asked.
"Way ahead of you Master Tricera," said Princess Luna, "The second source involves another man known only as Le Chiffre, and a casino known as Casino Royale in Montenegro."
"Okay does anybody want to explain what all of this means?" Master Ptera asked.
"I think I get what Luna is saying and what her plan is," Master Tyranno said, "Arcanon's Organization is using Max fixing as a source of funding dark money."
"Yep and the Merchant places large bets, gets corrupt players to throw the games in his favor and wins large sums of money which go into future dark investments," said Princess Luna of the Cosmic Arkeyans.
'What about this Le Chiffre?" Captain Black asked, "Shouldn't we capture him too?"
"Let's not get greedy Captain Black," said Master Tricera, "First order of business is the Oni Mask quest. Once we get a way to locate the masks we can start to cut Arcanon's finances."
"Which brings us to this," Said Master Ptera, "Jackie wants the mask locked in the vault at once. He also told us to tell you not to let anybody wear it and that he, Jade, Tohru, Uncle, Kenny, and Keyblade Wielder Miko Igasaki are currently in Japan searching for a lead to the next Oni Mask and they're in the Himura residence."
Master Tyranno presented the letter Jackie wrote to Captain black which contained information about the Oni Mask and where they happened to be at the moment.
In the Himura Residence the Chans along with Kenny and Miko were going over all that had happened with Gwendolyn Himura nee Roberts and her husband Ken Himura while they were going over copies of ancient Scrolls. So far the scrolls didn't have much to go on.
"IT's a good thing I'm on good speaking terms with the museum director and that I was able to make copies of the scrolls," Gwendolyn said, "Not to mention the fact that my husband is the last descendant of the Chi Wizard Samurais that defeated Tarakudo and his Generals or this would be a nightmare. Either way I'm able to speak Japanese but reading ancient Japanese is tough enough. My Husband is away at the shops so he can't help at the moment and from what I'm seeing so far Tohru's Japanese is rusty, and Miko and Keny are new to the language so this is tough."
"Karaoke Break anybody?" Jade asked.
"Jade the fist rule of research is patience," Jackie spoke.
"Can you not read any faster Tohru?" Uncle asked, "Cobwebs are forming on Uncle and can Kenny and Miko not help Tohru read any faster."
"My Japanese is rusty Sensei," Tohru spoke, "I'm afraid Gwen has a point on that.
"I'm still learning how to read Ancient Japan," Miko spoke, "And I live here."
"This would be so much easier if we had the Language Amulet," Kenny spoke. "It's a powerful relic of the Elder Gods that allows the wearer to read speak and write in any language."
"At this rate new forces of evil will locate eight other masks before we leave Himura residence," Uncle grumbled.
"Well, if you have a problem with this then let's open up a ground bridge to the Museum and check out their collection of masks," said Gwendolyn, "One of them is bound to be there."
The Team followed Gwendolyn's plan as there were no other leads for the moment.
Meanwhile Duncan Rosenblatt was being hurled through another portal that lead to the gap between dimension after having been dumped into the first of a series of Dark Timelines where the forces of evil took over the universe and the forces of good were reduced to a rag tag group of resistance fighters that were holding out until the protection their enemies had ended and they could finally go on the attack once again and in one of the Dark Timelines Arcanon had managed to help Grindelwald and Hitler rule the world with his advanced weaponry and his already massive fleet which had grown into a massive armada and armed the Nazi armies with the finest weapons he had at his command give them expert military and training which meant the Nazi regime ruled the world and the darkness ruled the universe.
'Of all the timelines where the Darkness ruled the universe none were worse than the one where Arcanon, Grindelwald, and Hitler all teamed up to rule the universe and that was by far the worst one yet,' Duncan thought as he was heading to another timeline which would be the one where he came from, 'And I fear that i'm about to see much worse timelines like the ones where the Arkeyan Weapon Masters enslaved the universe without my dad or the Kaiju Kingdom to stop them. At this point the JTeen Dimensions are truly beyond salvation. Let's hope I don't wind up in a universe where the Kaiju don't exist and things go from bad to worse. Words can't even describe how much of a disaster that would be.'
Duncan found himself tossed into a portal with a gray outline and he didn't know it at the time but this was only the first of many neutral timelines that could turn to light or darkness.
When he emerged the first thing Duncan found was that he was at Hogwarts but something seemed different. Duncan decided to take a look around to see what was going on and he found himself in the Great Hall and to his surprise the house tables and benches were missing as was the faculty table. Instead, a big circular table was in the great hall big enough to hold the entire faculty and that meant all the adults present. Duncan saw some familiar faces such as Professor Flitwick, head of Ravenclaw House and Charms Professor, Professor McGonagall, the Transfiguration professor, Professor Sprout the Herbology professor, Aurora Sinistra the Astronomy professor, Rolanda Hooch, the Flying instructor, Septima Vector, the Arithmancy professor, Bathsheda Babbling the Ancient Runes Professor, Sybil Trelawney the Divination Professor, and Yzma Milano the primary Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor, and Professor Severus Snape and some new faces such as Quirinus Quirrell the Non Magical Studies Professor, Hilary Abbot the Care of Magical Creatures Professor and Horace Slughorn the Potions Master.
Aside from the teaching staff there was the school nurse Poppy Pomfrey, the Game keeper Rubeus Hagrid, Argus Filch the caretaker, and the librarian Irma Pince and Dumbledore's personal secretary Miss Spencer.
They were all talking about the events of the previous year and to Duncan's surprise Abigail Bones the Vice Chair of the Hogwarts Board of Governors was also present.
"Hello is this a bad time?" Duncan asked as the faculty noticed him.
"Who are you and why are you here?" Abigail Bones asked. "More to the point how did you even get in here?"
"Well, my name is Duncan Rosenblatt and as for why I'm here it's a long story," Duncan said, "I'd like to explain but first I need to know what year this is?"
"It's the year 1997 and the faculty dinner just happened," said Yzma, "Abigail Bones complimented me on my leadership as Deputy Headmistress considering Slughorn's taking lead as Head of Slytherin House once again and teaching Potions but only up to 5th year. The thing is we're considering having somebody to take the lead as the new Defense Professor since I can't juggle the role and Snape only teaches the subject from 5th year and above considering the curse on the position and that most of my assistants are skilled in dealing with Dark Creatures."
"Before we answer any more of your questions," Professor Snape spoke, "Perhaps you'd like to answer Abigail Bones's questions."
"It's a long story," Duncan said explaining all that had happened including the timeline where he came from which was on the brink of war due to mistakes made in his home dimension.
"Sounds like the forces of evil are already on the move and things are already getting worse," said Hilary, "Let's say we believe you. How bad could it possibly get?"
Duncan explained what he saw in the timelines he witnessed with the Arkeyans having already either enslaved the universe or the forces of Darkness having taken over.
"This is worse than we feared," said Yzma, "If what you say is true then what are we supposed to do about it?"
"I think that I can help you," Duncan replied.
"What can you possibly do about any of this?" Snape sneered, "All of creation knows by now that the Arkeyan Weapon Masters are the most fearsome empire to the point that even the gods fear them and that the only warlord they fear above all else is this Arcanon you speak of."
"First off I need to know the full situation about the Arkeyan Weapon Masters, Arcanon, Voldemort, and the Malfoys," said Duncan, "Where I'm from Arcanon has teamed up with the Malfoys and Voldemort to beat the Arkeyans down to the point where the entire empire won't dare to cross them. I need to know so that I can prevent Darkness from falling here."
"Let's see Voldemort's currently in hiding since I suspect he's still out there," said Yzma, "My guess is that Arcanon's got him in a location that not even the Kaiju can touch him. That's why the curse on the Defense Against the Dark Arts position is still active. Arcanon has yet to challenge the Arkeyan Weapon Masters but thanks to Sirius having gone to Dumbledore about Pettigrew the rat with Remus, Linus, Regulus Black and their spouses supporting them and James and Lily's children are safe."
"That answers my question about Arcanon and Voldemort," said Duncan, "Now what about the Arkeyans and the Malfoys?"
"The Arkeyans are currently not on speaking terms with the British Ministry considering the mess with Voldemort's reign of terror and they're still pissed at the planet due to them having to clean up the mess caused by Grindelwald," said Yzma, "Fortunately my vigilance was able to prevent anybody from dying during the fiasco with the Chamber of Secrets when Dippet was Headmaster and Hagrid wasn't expelled. I was forced to saddle him with detention and send his pet Aragog to his native homeland to prevent a potential problem. I also managed to get the Whomping Willow removed and replaced with a snakewood tree as one of the requests for having won my challenge."
"Okay and what of the Malfoys?" Duncan asked knowing how much of a problem they had become in his home dimension.
"Surprisingly they actually took a subtle cunning approach during the war with Voldemort by helping the forces of light," said Yzma, "And after Augustus Rookwood was exposed Lucius recommended that Rookwood's Spanish British cousin Alejandro take his place in the Department of Mysteries."
"And what's Alejandro like?" Duncan asked.
"Alejandro may be an unspeakable but ironically he cannot stop talking about what goes on in the ministry and about rumors that he hears out on the street," Snape spoke, "And as for the Malfoys being on our side that's due to Bellatrix having married somebody other than Rodolphus Lestrange. Instead, she married an incubus and she's known as Bellatrix Pendragon wife of Asif Pendragon."
"I'm guessing that her incubus husband is the son of a Dragon Monster girl," Duncan spoke knowing the Pendragons were famous Dragon Racers and Dragon Riders in his dimension.
"His mom's from India and her dad comes from a family where the women are minotaur family monster girls most of whom have Arkeyan DNA of the Earth Element," Yzma spoke, "Meanwhile his dad is from a family where the women are Dragon Monter Girls hence why they're the best Dragon Racers and Dragon Riders. We already brought in Asif Pendragon to teach defense because we figured that being the incubus son of a dragon monster girl he'd be immune to the curse on the position of defense against the dark arts and it looks like we guessed right. The only problem is how do we keep Snape safe from the defense curse since the fact that he's not teaching defense officially meant that he dodged the bullet last year but I'm worried that the defense curse will likely come after him this year."
"So far, better than most I've seen," Duncan assessed. "But now I really need to know about my family; the Potters."
"WHAT?!" Snape hissed indignantly, practically jumping to his feet. "Are you blood kin to that arrogant, love-thieving SWINE of a peacock, James Potter?! MAY HE ROT IN HELL! *ACK!*"
In a flash, Duncan had the greasy potions master by the throat and holding him up off his feet against the wall!
"In my world, my uncle died defending his wife and children, my aunt and cousins, from Voldemort, you slimy snake!" Duncan growled in a low, deadly voice. "He was a true hero! Unlike that version of YOU, who betrayed them to your so-called Dark Lord by revealing what he'd heard of the Prophesy! Tell me, was it you here, too? Did you also BEG him to spare my Aunt Lily for you, hoping against hope that she could ACTUALLY CARE for you after YOU got her family that she loved so dearly killed?! Or did you think you could obliviate her of all her memories of them and claim her that way?!"
"Let him go, Duncan!" Dumbledore almost demanded. "Our Severus met Victoria just before graduating Hogwarts. She was a friend of Lily's. Though He and James never mended fences, they did attend each other's weddings, and he never became a Death Eater here. It was Pettigrew that betrayed your family, at every level here. James and Severus were never friends, but they were allies in my Order. As for your Cousin Harriet Rose Potter, I personally brought her to your mother and 'you' in America the following day."
"Although he was considering sending Harriet to other Wizarding clans along with her siblings for their safety and he considered the Dursleys as an absolute last resort," said Minerva, "Marissa and her husband Nicolas Angel have been observing them constantly and they are the worst sort of muggles they have ever seen."
"Yeah, no kidding," Duncan confirmed, dropping snape unceremoniously to the ground, where the greasy git gasped to force air back into his lungs. "Let me tell you what they did in my world; to my cousins before we rescued them, and after the Malfoys broke them out of prison to use for their own ends!..."
Duncan explained all that the Dursleys had done and to say that everyone present was at a loss for words was the biggest understatement of all time.
"My word no wonder the Arkeyan Weapon Masters in your world were ready to devastate all of Europe in the process," Pomona gasped shocked.
"Yep and the Arkeyans of my world even destroyed an entire planet and every star planet and galaxy in the dimension said planet was located in," Duncan spoke.
"Would this planet by any chance happen to be Aridia?" asked Aurora Sinistra.
"Yes why?" Duncan asked.
"Because 10,000 years ago the Arkeyans destroyed Planet Aridia and every star planet and galaxy in its entire dimension," the Astronomy Professor said.
"Seriously?" Duncan asked, "This is messed up and what's to stop the Dursley swine from picking on other kids in the area? He's got to be stopped."
"Then you'll be happy to know we have somebody on the case and keeping an eye on them to make sure Dudley does not bully the kids but there's some bad news," Yzma said, "I've been going over the Book of Admittance and synched it to the books in the magical prep schools hidden in London the capital of England, Cardiff, the capital of Wales, Edinburg the capital city of Scotland, Belfast the capital of Northern Ireland, and Dublin the capital of the Republic of Ireland."
"Okay that's some good news but there are a few others to watch for," Duncan spoke, "Kai Malfoy and his family on the continent, as well as Delores Umbridge here in your own ministry if she's there. If this world has MEGTAF and Section 13; contact them, as well as whatever your equivalent oof the Global Federation of Magical Creatures."
"Funny you mention Kai Malfoy and his family on the continent," said Slughorn, "Kai was one of my best students in Slytherin and excelled in his subjects. I wanted to make him a prefect but he declined the position since he felt he was more of a warrior and not a politician and instead recommended his cousin Lucius for the job. He's currently in the United States with his family on vacation observing the Texas Rangers and training with them so he can teach them what he knows and they can teach him and his family what they know. As for Delores Umbridge she talked endlessly about her maternal family the Selwyns considering they're one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight."
"And Yzma's added some things in the ministry and at Hogwarts such as removing all the bills and bylaws that favor the purebloods and suppress the muggleborns and those with creature blood or are non-human," said Septima, "That said what is the Global Federation of Magical Creatures and what are MEGTAF and Section 13?"
Duncan was about to explain when the door opened and Alastor Moody and beside him Bellatrix and Rita Skeeter accompanied by two men that he had also never seen before but while one looked to be Celtic influenced and very muscular the other was slim yet had some muscle but both were dressed in shirts and kilts whereas Bellatrix and Rita were both dressed in short skirts.
"Sorry we're late Albus. We would've finished getting the new security measures put into place but these two over here decided to catch up with their wives," Alastor Moody spoke before noticing Duncan, "Who is this intruder? How did he get in here?"
"It's a long story," said Albus as he explained all that had happened.
"Okay so let's say I believe you why should we listen to him?" Alastor Moody spoke.
"Because he was about to give us information about Delores Umbridge although she was just an average student at best and Slughorn never liked her," said Yzma before gesturing to Duncan, "But first tell us about Section 13, MEGTAF, and the GFMC."
Duncan explained all that he knew about Section 13, MEGTAF, and the GFMC and needless to say they were stunned.
"Well, if what you say is true then it'll be difficult to contact the former two," Professor Pendragon said, "Lord Arcanon's jammed communications and spread a massive virus in North America or the Colonies as this Delores Umbridge still calls them and a shadow has covered the entire continent in the form of a viral continent according to my sister. She has to use a quill but she prefers to use a typewriter since it's easier and she's also been hearing rumors about this Delores Umbridge. But how do you know her and why would Delores Umbridge be a threat? The Global Federation of Magical Creatures hasn't been recognized or ratified by the ICW yet and that was because the Arkeyan Weapon Masters trapped the Kaiju in crystal years ago using the power of their greatest ally because two of them insulted the Arkeyan Weapon Masters."
"WHAT?!" Duncan practically roared. "HOW DARE THEY?! ARE THEY IDIOTS OR JUST BLIND?! THE KAIJU ARE THE STRONGEST ALLIES WE COULD HAVE! Get me in contact with my counterpart! Together, we can get to Belloc's lair and free him. I'll explain the situation and we can we free the rest of the Kaiju Kingdom! Meanwhile, you need to make contact with the Dragon Priesthood and the Goddess of Time. Then you and they need to inform the Arkeyans of everything I've told you...EXCEPT my plans to free the Kaiju! It might become necessary to negotiate with them from a position of strength later."
"Duncan as you know I'm an Arkeyan Weapon Master myself because of my Arkeyan DNA so let me tell you that insulting the Arkeyans is a bad idea," Professor Pendragon spoke already cracking his knuckles, "That said if I was a warrior I'd pound you but I'm more of an explorer just like the rest of my family. Hence I've been busy trying to map out the forest that surrounds the grounds of Hogwarts after Yzma had that age line put in. As for the Goddess of Time she's already shown us the worst case scenarios of such things as of late and needless to say she's already sent this version of yourself to go and rescue the Kaiju."
"And has my counterpart been successful?" Duncan asked.
"The two rogues that attacked the Homecoming dance in your timeline are the ones that the Arkeyans sentenced to holding up the sky until the end of creation since they used the power of their greatest ally to force the titans curse upon the Kaiju," said Professor Pendragon, "That said I would suggest you avoid trying the Arkeyan Empire's patience. They're already pissed at your counterpart and if you show up the governors will most likely declare war. The High Chancellor's doing all he can to keep them in check but we really should be thankful that the current Emperor is nothing like his predecessors some of whom were named after great emperors on this planet such as Attila, Genghis, Timur, and Kubla."
"And to add insult to injury the Arkeyan Clans here in the British Isles tend to act a lot like the American Business Titans that put McKinley in office," added Professor Aurora Sinistra, "In fact the three most powerful Arkeyan Clans actually helped and invested in the businesses of Morgan, Carnagie, and Rockefeller respectively."
"I think I know who you're talking about and if I'm right then we'll likely find one of them here in Hogsmeade," Duncan said.
"Yes turns out the Perkins clan helped Rockefeller with his oil company and invested in shares, the Roberts Clan helped Carnagie with his steel empire, and the Arkwright Family helped out J.P. Morgan with his electric company," Aurora added, "They ended up having more money in the magical and muggle worlds than they know what to do with and because of that influence they're also quite dangerous if you cross them."
"Aurora I don't think that this is the time to mention that information," said Asif Pendragon to Aurora before speaking to Duncan, "That said Aurora's got a point my people do not take lip from anyone and I'm not going to cross my own people."
"While I... understand your position, Prof. Pendragon; aside from you and your High Chancellor-something in common with his counterpart in my world-the Arkeyan Weapon Masters and Governors are just as stubborn, prideful, obstinate, and foolish here as they are in my world," Duncan said shaking his head. "They absolutely REFUSE to look at or even CONSIDER the bigger picture, and that is exactly what made them vulnerable to Lord Arcanon. He uses that against them. He finds cunning allies that twist their own rules and laws to their advantage against those who would and/or could be the best and strongest allies that the Arkeyans against him. Case in point; in my world my father's kingdom COULD have brought Arcanon to his knees LONG AGO in a united effort with the Arkeyans, if the Arkeyans had NOT ALLOWED the Malfoys to use one of the Arkeyans by-laws to tie the hands of the GFMC against them and ALL THEIR ALLIES."
"But...!"
"On that note," Duncan continued, cutting him off, "What about my counterpart's efforts to free Belloc and the kaiju loyal to him? Plus, It may be a 'bad idea' for ME to appear before your Arkeyan Council, but there's nothing preventing you from presenting them with my memories of my world and every world I've seen in my...strange Journey across the multiverse; including those in which they ACTUALLY COOPERATED with the forces of good and the VASTLY MORE POSITIVE OUTCOMES those worlds-including THEM-experienced!"
"First off Duncan the Arkeyans aren't entirely stupid at times," Rita said, "They did fix the planet after the second world war and upgraded the infrastructure after the first world war as well. Either way about the enemy taking advantage the Arkeyans were aware that the Death Eaters and their leader took advantage of the ministry's weakness and Dumbledore's order using stunning, binding, and disarming curses only. The Arkeyans went full force and fired off bone breakers and used guns and the like. That's how nearly most of the Death Eaters wound up dead or in prison."
"And as for your counterpart's efforts to free Belloc and the Kaiju loyal to him that's taking some time since he has no idea which Kaiju are loyal to Belloc and which are not," said Rita's husband Alain De Grandpre, "And you forget that I'm also an Arkeyan Weapon maser and we don't take such insults as the ones you explained lightly. That said they're busy trying to get Magical Britain out of the Victorian Era but the closet they can get is to the American Gilded Age. The Age of Monopolies to be precise and you do know your American History yes?"
"I do but what does that mean for Magical Britain?" asked Duncan.
"Basically, it means that that House Perkins will have a monopoly on Oil, House Roberts will have a monopoly of Steel and House Arkwright will have a monopoly on electricity for the progressive wizarding homes considering the Arkeyans found a way to make electrical devices function in the magical world," said Alain, "And for the record I will be telling my mom's boss what you just said."
"And who is your mom's boss?" asked Duncan.
"Mom's boss is Governor Albert leader of the tech squad," said Alain, "They're the research and development department of the Arkeyan Empire's squads."
"I'm not trying to piss anybody off Alain," Duncan retorted.
"You're doing a piss poor job of it," Snape spoke, "I've only met you for five minutes and I'm already prepared to tip Tana and the Arkeyans off so they can throw you out of our dimension. Anybody stupid enough to cross them wound up getting tortured along with all of their relatives and their dead ancestors and forced to hear the pain of their dead ancestors cries. Arcanon is the only one who not only hasn't been tortured by them yet but the Arkeyans are dead terrified of him considering he's the most feared Dark Portal Master of all time."
"It's true Arcanon was Grindelwald's right-hand man and served as right hand man to the leader of the Death Eaters," said Yzma, "We dare not say the name of the leader of the death eaters because by doing so that'll trigger the taboo curse upon the planet."
"Really? Deja vu all over again," Duncan grumbled with disappointment. "Tell me; this leader, is his real name Tom Marvolo Riddle, but goes by the 'must-not-be-uttered' made-up name that starts with 'V' and sounds like 'Moldy-wart'?"
"In fact, he does," Dumbledore replied, impressed, while Snape scoffed looking utterly scandalized.
"Where is the nearest active volcano?" Duncan asked.
"Vesuvius is currently very active", Flitwick said. "It's not erupting, but the caldera is actively boiling with molten lava. The nearby towns have been alerted to evacuate at a moment's notice, just in case."
"Portkey, please," Duncan said. "Set for a round-trip, if you please."
"What? Why?" Yzma asked.
"I'm going to Mt. Vesuvius and show you a little trick I learned," he smirked.

Duncan appeared on the rim of the crater, then grew his wings and flew out over the boiling lava to hover.
"VOLDEMORT! I CHALLENGE YOU, YOU COWARD!" he shouted.
Within moments, apes riding on Dreadwings, skeleton warriors, and Shadowkhan ninjas appeared all around him….. many in mid-air and fell into the lava! The Skeleton Warriors died screaming. Those that appeared on the rim of the crater fared no better, as Duncan blasted them with fireballs and intense flames as they recovered from the shock of their surroundings. Duncan left only one alive...barely.
"Crawl back to your master," he hissed. "Tell him what happened here. Tell him and your fellows that now you never know when the 'taboo' could be a deadly trap that will cost you dearly. This time was overkill, to make a point. GO!"
"Feel free to extract and show my memory, Lady Yzma," Duncan said with satisfaction upon his return. Yzma used her wand to pull the memory from his mind and place it in the penseive for the group to view.
The group saw how quickly and efficiently Duncan was able to use the environment to his advantage and wipe some of Arcanon's forces out.
"You got lucky this time," Snape sneered, "The Dark Lord is no fool and neither is Lord Arcanon. Arcanon's bound to tailor the taboo to adjust it to suit the environment depending upon where it is triggered. Next time you may not be so lucky."
"Either way this should be enough proof for me to present to my people," said Asif Pendragon, "But you still haven't told us who Delores Umbridge and why we need to watch out for her?"
"You're an idiot, Snape!" Duncan barked. "Such powerful, specific, intent-based curses CANNOT be altered easily or quickly. They must either be dismantled and a new version devised and cast; or integrating new 'programming' into the existing one takes even longer, during which time it is useless as well! Either way, it is essentially CRIPPLED for updating. That's if he even DARES to leave himself without that little weapon of fear for any length of time at all, opting instead to leave it as-is and just try to exercise more caution when deploying troops for it."
"At least that's one less concern at any rate and we know what to do about the taboo," said Professor Flitwick. "But again, what about Delores?"
"As for Umbridge, in my world she was the Senior Undersecretary to Minister Fudge, and the very worst kind of pureblood witch bigot in the Ministry! Let me give you the short version of all her crimes that she's committed in all of the timelines."
The staff present listened to all that Duncan was telling them and needless to say they were shocked based upon what they heard.
"Oh, my she's worse than we thought," said Hilary, "If she's going after the magical creatures then we need to convince my people to call upon their greatest ally and release Belloc and the Kaiju. Just for the record I'm also an Arkeyan Weapon Master and so is everyone in my family. We're from the life element mostly."
"Thanks for the history lesson but can we get back to the task at hand?" Professor Babbling asked.
"Another thing you might want to do is check Chor Gum Prison, and make sure Moloch is still securely imprisoned there," Duncan said grimly. "And if he is, increase security, and DO NOT GIVE KAI MALFOY ACCESS!"
"What?! Why?!" Pendragon said, shocked.
"Kai was the one that freed Moloch in my world, and that bastard oni is the one that murdered Hagrid in my world with his bare hands," Duncan recalled darkly. "I personally sent the 3-eyed freak to Hell myself afterward."
Hagrid looked shaken that his counterpart in Duncan's world had been murdered; beaten to death by the most feared oni on Earth.
"We'll be sure to keep that in mind but Kai Malfoy is on our side and you'll be happy to know that he already sent somebody to check on the situation at Chor Gum Prison," said Albus, "He's worried that if the magical world does not learn from history then they're doomed to repeat it."
"At least this version of Kai has more braincells than most of the Magical World," Duncan said.
"Based upon all that's happened I think it would be best if Hilary Abbot and myself go see High Chancellor Odon at once," said Asif, "And by the way Duncan your counterpart is already working on freeing the Kaiju loyal to Belloc but what about the ones who are not loyal to Belloc? Do we leave them in crystal?"
"We'll figure that out when we get there," said Duncan as the trio headed off to see the Arkeyan Weapon Masters before something else came in mind. "By the way does Harriet Potter have any siblings in this world and what of Sirius Black?"
"You'll be happy to know that Sirius Black resides in Privett Drive right next to the Dursleys with his wife Zara," Albus spoke, "Turns out Zara decided to take on the role of school counselor at Smeltings Academy since she felt there was a lack of a guidance councilor present and Marissa Angel only handles the job in Primary School."
"And from Marissa said she's got her hands more than full protecting the students from being bullied by Dudley and his gang," said Minerva, "Thankfully Hariett and her siblings are in America with this version of your mother Margaret Rosenblatt."
"Wait she has siblings?" asked Duncan.
"Yes their names are Zeus Potter the eldest, Primrose Potter the eldest daughter, followed by the twins Gideon and Fabian and another set of twins Rose and Amethyst which brings us to Harriett and her younger brothers Denzel and Axel," said Flitwick, "And they're all set to attend Hogwarts."
Duncan nodded as he, Hilary and Asif headed off to see the Arkeyans unaware that the Warlord backing Lord Arcanon was already adjusting and upgrading the taboo with his immense power as they spoke and by the time they returned the taboo would be stronger than ever before and refined to do exactly what Snape said Arcanon might do with the taboo having hijacked the power of one of the Arkeyan Empire's greatest allies to do that.
At the same time in Duncan's home dimension Gwendolyn Himura and the team arrived at the museum where they found dozens of masks and among the masks was the next oni mask.
"This is the place," Gwendolyn said to the team, "I figure the location of the Next Oni mask has to be here and one of these masks is the next oni mask we're looking for."
"What makes you think that an Oni Mask is here inside the museum?" Jackie asked.
"Remember when you found the Pig Talisman in Bavaria and the Dragon Talisman with my American nephew at his steel company?" asked Gwendolyn to Jackie who nodded, "Magical relics tend to find their way into the hands of humans that can bring out their full potential so I figure that the Mask has to be here and even if it's not then we may learn something else here. I sent Miko and Kenny to examine the scrolls and find the Hana Fuda Cards."
"Let me guess you think that the cards are somewhere in Japan?" Jade asked.
"I do," Gwen said.
"My mother told me about these cards Gwen as did Lord William Shiba," Tohru said, "They were created by the good chi wizards that sealed Tarakudo and his Generals away long ago and hold the information needed to defeat them should they ever return."
"Sounds like fairy tales to Uncle," Uncle spoke as Tohru shivered on the spot in the same manner that Uncle usually did when he had the willies.
"Uncle getting the willies is usually a sign of Chinese evil showing up but Tohru getting the willies is usually a sign of a Japanese evil showing up," said Gwendolyn.
As if on cue Tarakudo arrived and this time he was joined by the Ice Blue Dragon that was at Shendu's palace along with a green dragon and one of Arcanon's minions but this time the minion was wearing armor modeled after a karakari. This was of course Arcanon's garrison Commander Zurgane and the two dragons at Zurgane's side were Tengu demons from another dimension but the heroes didn't know this yet.
"Looks like somebody's on top of their game," Tarakudo said phasing through Tohru and arriving at the door, "Henchmen."
On cue the Enforcers and Hak Foo arrived.
"You called?" Ratso asked.
"Lend a hand and fetch the mask with Cooler and Shard's help?" Tarakudo said.
Ratso looked at the mask display, "Which mask?"
"The magic one!" Hak cried, as he jumped over the group and grabbed one of the masks and dawned it. When nothing happened, he took another and tried it on with no affect. Hak continued trying on mask after mask while Jackie went to stop them only to run into General Zurgane.
"We must work on Mask Removal Potion in the event Oni Mask is found," said Uncle.
"Way ahead of you," said Gwen presenting a vial, "Lord Shiba already went ahead and prepared the base potion."
"Then all we need now is the key ingredient," said Uncle pulling out a sword, "Good thing Japanese Steel is present this time."
"This will not end well," Gwen sighed as she had the forethought have brought more than one vial of Mask Removal Potion.
Back with Jackie he was busy fighting off General Zurgane as Zurgane was firing a combination of Dark Magic and Sword swipes at him with Cooler's help while at the same time Jade took a difference approach by mixing up the masks in the display with the tested ones in an attempt to slow the enforcers down which didn't go unnoticed by Shard and Tarakudo.
"What are you guys doing?" Shard asked.
"Looking for the mask?" Finn said.
"Try this fellow," Tarakudo asked morphing into a Purple Mask with horns and eyes.
Right on cue Jackie saw the mask in question and went to get it only for Hak Foo to beat him to it.
"Kangaroo Hop," Hak Foo yelled grabbing the mask.
"Nice Grab," Shard spoke.
Jackie tried to get the mask only for Zurgane to grab him.
"I don't think so," Zurgane snapped grabbing him by the legs.
"Hiyah!" Jade yelled kicking Zurgane which had no effect due to the armor he was wearing. "Ow!"
"Nice try," Zurgane spoke before tossing Jackie and placing the oni mask upon his face. "Now this is what I call power."
"Guys the forces of Darkness have the mask," said Gwen.
"Not for long," Uncle said pouring the potion upon the Sword as Tohru held it right to Ratso only for it to fizzle out.
"The Sword did not work Sensei," Tohru spoke.
"That's what I was trying to tell you," Gwen said, "Each Oni mask requires a different Mask Removal Ingredient. We only got lucky because the first mask came with instructions. Were you not listening to what my husband and I said on the way here?"
Uncle feeling stupid dope slapped himself.
"Where are Miko and Kenny when you need them?" Jackie asked as Cooler and Shard were already on the attack.
"You called," Kenny asked as he and Miko arrived, "We learned a little bit from the scrolls here in the museum but we didn't find much."
"Uh Kenny?" Miko asked pointing to the forces of darkness.
Kenny understanding attempted to launch an attack only for Tarakudo to hold him via his mental powers and toss him right out the window.
"So much for our back up," Jade said.
"Okay so Arcanon said that this mask would give me an army," Zurgane said to Tarakudo, "How am I supposed to do that?"
"You must feel the power Zurgane," Tarakudo began "Call upon the Darkness within."
"Got it," Zurgane said as he began to feel the power only for Jackie to interrupt.
Jackie yelled while grabbing Zurgane, "No. No feeling no calling." Zurgane grabbed Jackie and tossed him away before concentrating.
Zurgane finished concentrating and summoned at least 10 Shadowkhan which were seven feet tall and had razor sharp claws for fingers.
"Sweet," Chow said.
"Go Zurgane," Finn said.
"Nice," Ratso finished.
"Let's look for more masks while Shard and Zurgane crush our enemies," Tarakudo said.
"Good plan Tarakudo," said Shard, "My old partner General Murasaki would be so proud right now."
"Guys I think now would be a good time to retreat," said Tohru as Miko flipped over to the Chans.
"We can take him," said Miko brandishing her Keyblade, "Besides Gwen's got a dragon that can crush these buffoons."
"Unfortunately, I've been trying to summon my Dragon ally," Gwen said, "But they're not answering my calls. Something or somebody is blocking the link."
"Then What do we do?" Tohru said.
"I'll tell you what we do we fight," Miko said as she brandished the Keyblade and began blasting the Shadowkhan with Blizzard Spells.
"Guys we gotta bolt," Gwendolyn said calling up a ground bridge and sending Harry, Carol, and Verity to go and rescue Kenny.
"We can take them," said Miko.
"First thing about Shadowkhan is that they can reform and Zurgane over there will just send more," Gwen replied, "We need to regroup."
"Very well," Miko sighed as she, Gwen, and the Chans bolted through the groundbridge as Gwendolyn covered their escape prompting Zurgane to activate his commlink.
"Zurgane to Arcanon," Zurgane said through the commlink, "The enemy got away. Shall I have the Shadowkhan or the Templars hunt them down?"
"Send some Shadowkhan after them," said Arcanon, "In the Meantime I sent the Vehicons outside to watch the Hana Fuda Car Company's factory and they've been there since the first mask was already active. At any rate we'll destroy the cards and even if he does then Shard and Cooler will be of some help to you isn't that right?"
"Indeed it is," said Shard, "And with all the dragons trapped in crystal and the federation barred from acting it's only a matter of time before all nine masks belong to us."
"True but then again the Draconium Dragons are the only dragons not effected by the crystal spell but then again they're too weak to stop us," Cooler spoke, "Either way I've reconnected with the shadowkhan once again."
Once again Cooler summoned the Ninja Khan and had about a dozen of them ready.
"Then let's raid the Hana Fuda Car company and bring the Shiba Clan to it's knees along with the rest of the Assassin Brotherhood so the Templars and the Forces of Darkness can rule supreme," Zurgane spoke, "Good thing our allies in Texas had the foresight to remove anybody who could've provided the Keyblade Wielder Miko the link she needed to rescue our enemies by trapping them in the underworld's deepest pits."
"Indeed and it seems I'll need to send one of my top minions known only as The Benefactor to remind the Igasaki Clan to keep their members in line," Arcanon said confirming that the Benefactor of the Igasaki Clan was one of Arcanon's minions, "No matter our other benefactor is blocking Tana's powers so we're free to chat and the commlink line is secured. I'll bridge you back to the ship. Arcanon out."
Zurgane, Cooler, and Shard entered a groundbridge that would take the group back to the Nemesis so they could continue to bring their enemies down to their knees and continue to crush any hope of stopping them once and for all.
At the same time in the dimension Duncan was stuck in Asif Pendragon was visiting High Chancellor Odon and informing him of the situation as Alain had tagged along since it was mandatory that the Eight Governors be present for the information.
Needless to say the Eight Governors of the Arkeyan Empire were ready to rip Duncan Rosenblatt into pieces for what he said about them after Asif showed the memories of what happened but they did get an idea of what to do about Umbridge.
"And there you have it," said Asif Pendragon, "The Situation at Hogwarts is stable for now but Lord Arcanon continues to empower the leader of the Death Eaters considering the cruse on the Position of Defense Professor at Hogwarts has been trying to force me out since I took the position after Slughorn retired from being head of Slytherin house for a bit and Yzma took the job of being head of Slytherin house in addition to being the defense teacher. The thing is Myra of the Stealth Squad had to cover potions and deputy head of Hogwarts for the duration since she doesn't trust Severus to teach 5th year or below and she still holds a grudge against Yzma because of Yzma's sister Keyblade Master Celine was the one who tipped off the Keyblade master that defeated both Myra Lupin nee Perkins of the Arkeyan Empire's Stealth Squad and her then boss Governess Agatha of the Phantom Arkeyans in circa 1934 in a battle challenge."
High Chancellor Odon sighed knowing that as Arkeyan Weapon Masters they had long memories and like the elephant they would never forget anything especially any dishonor committed against them even if it was decades or centuries ago.
"Seems that some of the steam engines on Earth were right about the issue of Arcanon centuries ago," Odon said, "We may have helped in the war by supporting the forces of light but the aftermath has gotten us beaten up by Arcanon again and again. Either way what news on Bagnold?"
"Bagnold has grown weary of being minister and is not going to try her hand at another reelection," said Asif, "That said what are we going to do about the position of minister?"
"Based upon what you've shown us I suggest we face Bagnold in battle and select her replacement ourselves," Governess Shasta of the Volcanic Arkeyans suggested. "While we're at it let's get rid of Toad Face Umbitch once and for all. Arcanon hasn't created a taboo for that bitch yet."
"True but it's only a matter of time before that happens," said Governess Aqua, "That said we need to pick a minister that the common magical people can rally behind. We need somebody with strong leadership skills, a good sense for politics, and most importantly it has to be somebody competent, somebody with a strong character and independent streak, and most importantly it has to be somebody that cannot be manipulated by anybody at all."
"I agree with al of what Governess Aqua is saying but there's one more thing," said Governor Terrador, "The new minister cannot be an Arkeyan Weapon Master or Arcanon will thrash them within a month and toss somebody who is the opposite of what we want via challenge for position protocols. Anybody have any ideas?"
"I know I'm taking a risk by saying this but perhaps our world's Duncan would be of some help," said Governor Ventus, "The Risk is that we may have to undo the curse we threw upon the Kaiju because the two rogues that insulted our people are the two that are currently holding up the Sky as punishment. That said what do we do?"
"Asif tell this world's Duncan and his counterpart that we're ready to talk terms of selecting the new minister," said High Chancellor Odon bracing himself for Kira's fierce rebuttal.
"Are you serious?" Governess Kira of the Phantom Arkeyans practically roared, "Do you have any idea what Arcanon's gonna do to us once he somehow finds out? At this rate we may as well start washing our necks because Arcanon will chop our heads off."
"I understand your fear and concern Governess Kira," Governess Celestia of the Cosmic Arkeyans said, "And so do the rest of us but if what we've seen from Duncan's memories gives us any chance of stopping Arcanon before he grows too powerful then this may be our only hope."
"Very well but if this goes south I will be telling Grandma Agatha and the Imperial Guard of this," said Kira.
"Asif go and get Duncan and his counterpart and tell them to meet us in the Governor Chambers," said Odon.
"At once Sir," said Asif.
In Duncan's Home Dimension Jackie, Jade, Uncle, Tohru, Miko, Kenny, Dino Masters Tyranno, Tricera, and Ptera had followed their guide Gwendolyn Himura to the Hana Fuda Car Company's main headquarters to speak to the president.
"What are you doing here? We are closed," said a voice as the team spotted the Hana Fuda Car company president before the president in turn spotted Gwen and company, "Lady Himura this is a surprise. As the head of the Johto Railway's board of directors you only show up if the situation is something serious."
"It is serious," Gwendolyn said before gesturing to the team she brought with her, "Enough for me to bring in outside help. Tell me are the Hana Fuda Cards still safe?"
"Of couse," the president went to go and get the cards before presenting them to the group, "As you can see the cards have been handed down through my family for generations and I even based my company logo upon them."
"That's good to know but the information in the Hana Fuda cards is needed once again," said Gwendolyn, "As you know my husband and his ancestors were the ones that sealed away Tarakudo and his oni generals."
"Normally, I'd say that the Oni are children's folk tales that my mother told me but considering all that has happened in our world I believe you," The Car Company president said, "After all if what you say is true then the cards are rightfully yours."
The president was about to hand the cards before an entire army of Razor Khan and Ninja Khan appeared and surrounded the team. The president turned to see Zurgane wearing the Oni mask.
"Hand over the cards or pay the price," Zurgane said as he pulled out his blades charged with dark magic.
The president ran for his life only to lose his tie in the process and run into Shard and Cooler.
"Surrender the cards and we shall be merciful," Shard offered.
"Gwendolyn take the cards. They are rightfully yours," the president said handing the cards to Gwendolyn and running for his life.
"Jackie you, Miko, Kenny and the Dino Masters keep the enemy busy," Uncle said, "We will find mask removal ingredient."
On cue Jackie, Miko, Kenny and Dino Masters Tyranno, Tricera, and Ptera went into battle against Zurgane the Shadowkhan while Uncle, Tohru, Jade, and Gwendolyn headed into the office.
"A Mask removal spell is the only way to end Zurgane's control over the Razor Khan," said Tohru, "But it won't end Shard's control over them."
"Did the scrolls say how to activate the cards?" Jade asked.
"I'm afraid not," said Gwen, "But then again my husband said his family didn't put that information in the scrolls."
"Then we better figure out how to play and fast," Jade said.
"That won't be necessary," said Gwen, "My husband Kenshin said that the cards work like regular cards in groups of three. It's no different than crazy eights."
Gwen on cue arranged three cards in a row before they stared glowing.
"Whoa," Jade gasped.
Suddenly an image started appearing on each card. The first card showed an image of the Oni mask, "The first card shows the mask we seek." Gwen said.
"But we already know that." Tohru reminded her.
Second card showed the country of Japan on it, "This card shows where it's located." Gwen continued.
"We know that already too." Jade said.
"Third card is about to show us Mask removal ingredient." Uncle concluded.
They saw it looked like the image of silk, "The removal ingredient is Japanese silk." Jade noticed.
"Sensei, isn't your vest made of silk?' Tohru asked noticing Uncle's vest.
"Blended wool and Polyester. Uncle does not wear clothes of movie star or male model!" Uncle retorted.
"What about clothes of a Japanese Shogun's wife or the descendant of a Japanese Shogun's wife?" Gwen suggested.
"What about the clothes of a Japanese Samurai or the wife of a Japanese Samurai?" asked Jade.
Tohru looked and saw the torn piece of the President's tie and held it up, "What about this?"
"That's just what we need," Gwen said, "It's Japanese silk. I'm the one who made the Car Company President's tie."
"Well Jackie, Kenny, Miko and the Dino Masters are taking quite a beating," said Jade.
At the same time Jackie, Miko, Kenny, and the Dino Masters were taking a huge beating as they had their hands full with not just the Razor Khan but also the Ninja Khan compliments of Cooler.
"As if things weren't tough enough with one tribe of Shadowkhan breathing down our necks now we have to face down two tribes?" Miko yelled dodging another attack.
"We've dealt with worse," said Master Tyranno slicing another Ninja Khan on the spot, "Remember we have to stay on our feet."
"Master Tyranno's right," said Kenny as he kept slicing through Shadowkhan, "Sooner or later Zurgane will gas out."
Jackie continued avoiding and evading as the Dino Masters and Kenny did most of the fighting as Zurgane continued sending wave after wave of Shadowkhan to crush them.
"Where are Uncle and Tohru with that Mask Removal Spell?" Jackie yelled and as if on cue Uncle, Tohru, Jade and Gwendolyn were holding the president's tie and chanting in Japanese as the tie was glowing causing a beam to hit Jackie's hands.
"Jackie Remove the Mask," Gwendolyn called.
"Shadowkhan Attack," Cooler yelled as the Ninja Khan attacked the heroes in wave after wave.
"We got to stay on our feet," Master Tyranno said fending off more Shadowkhan as Gwendolyn conjured a shield to use while blasting at the Shadowkhan which gave Jackie the time he needed to make his way to Zurgane and remove the Oni Mask.
"Get off of my face," Zurgane yelled as Jackie tugged and tugged until he was able to remove the oni mask from Zurgane's face.
"This isn't over," said Shard as he and Cooler left while taking Zurgane with them.
"That was way too close," said Gwendolyn, "I'll have Coraline ground bridge us to Section 13 at once."
"You're coming with us?" Jade asked.
"I'm afraid so," said Gwendolyn, "I have to explain to Captain Black about what's happening and General O'Neil's gonna want an explanation as to what his British Inlaws have gotten into this time."
On the Nemesis Arcanon was waiting with Tarakudo and Voldemort as Zurgane, Shard, and Cooler returned via Shadow.
"It seems that Chan has the Hana Fuda Cards since you no longer have horns," said Tarakudo pointed out.
"I figured that out," said Zurgane, "We were stretched thin, and we did what we could. We should have destroyed or taken over the Hana Fuda Car Company in the name of the Templars and Abstergo Industries when we had the chance."
"You have a point Zurgane and perhaps a take over of businesses owned by supporters of our enemies or owned by our enemies should send a message loud and clear," said Arcanon, "Those who dare to stand up to us will all die."
"My thoughts exactly and this test proves that the Oni Masks will work well with magicals and not affect their magic," said Lord Voldemort, "When all is said and done the forces of darkness will rule supreme and none will oppose us and live to tell the tale."
"And our enemies still do not know that not only is the nemesis shielded against meddlesome Time Walkers like Professor Paradox it's also shielded against that annoying Time Goddess Tana which leaves us free to plot and scheme," said Lord Arcanon, "And thanks to having crushed the Arkeyans in battle I did the same to all of the hideouts and our enemies still do not know that I have the Skeleton Key and using that in combination with certain relics we can strike where we want when we want which means nothing is safe."
The Villains all grinned evilly knowing full well that with Abstergo Industries about to rule the business world nothing would stand in their way but Arcanon had one more thing to bring up.
"Speaking of relics what of that relic from the Temple at Hogwarts I was able to get you into via the Skeleton Key?" Arcanon asked.
"What temple?" Lord Voldemort asked.
"The Temple that holds the Bonemark of the Furox," Tarakudo said as he used his mental powers to bring the cube in question that held the bonemark in question, "I believe you know what this bonemark contains."
"I do," said Lord Voldemort, "My old Magical Guardian Yzma De Ville didn't know I found Bonemarks in the Restricted Section which means that I'm aware of what Bonemarks can do and what they contain. After all she was the Care of Magical Creatures Professor when I was a student."
The villains laughed evilly yet again knowing that while they lost the Hana Fuda Cards they still had the upper hand.
At the restored Section 13 Jackie hung the Oni Mask they recovered in Japan next to the mask they recovered from Shendu's palace.
"Two down Seven more to go," said Jackie.
"Anybody up for Slapjack?" Jade asked holding the Hana Fuda cards.
"We need to give Captain Black our report," said Gwendolyn.
"We really need to find better vault security since Lord Arcanon still has the Varden in his possession," said Tohru.
"Good point but Oni Magic cannot defeat Onion Magic," Jade said holding an onion.
"It's a little trick we learned from Gwendolyn and my apprentice," Uncle spoke having learned to use Onions, "And we can focus on resuing
Tohru and the team smiled knowing that at least the Vault would be safe from Tarakudo and his goons for the time being.
