I sprinted downstairs as fast as I could-

too fast.

I tripped and rolled down stairs; THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! BANG!!! That last part was me taking a chair down with me underneath the table.

One word for you-

Ouch.

"Link?"

"Yes uncle?"

I struggled to free myself from the chair and stood up

"Uncle, Aryll was in my room and she made my bed goop and locked the door and also crayons! lied about you telling her to take something you didn't tell her to take-" I gasped I had not stopped to breathe and my brain had just reminded me to inhale and I had listened but only because didn't have enough air to form full sentences my uncle patted the air "calm down son," he said "alright. what happened?" I pulled him upstairs he saw my room and sighed under his breath he mumbled "Brother why did you leave me with these trouble makers?" I knew he was talking about dad.

My dad.

Arylls dad.

My moms husband.

My uncles brother.

But he was gone now.

My uncle walked across the hall the connected my room to Arylls Room he knocked "Aryll open the door"

"No"

"Why not?"

"Because link 'll kill me"

"No he won't, promise, open the door"

"No"

"Aryll don't make me open the door"

"No"

"What do you mean 'no'?!"

"No"

"No what"

"No"

"Will you keep saying no?"

"Nope"

"Huh?"

"No"

My uncle rubbed his temples and I stifled a snort Aryll was the definition of annoying, she could even annoy my uncle! My uncle sighed "link go get my toolbox" my uncle said I ran down stairs and outside and behind the house to the shed and got my uncles tools but as I was running back a figure dropped from the sky and landed on top of me. it was Aryll! She had jumped from her window and had landed on me I grabbed her before she could run "we're going inside Aryll and you ain't escapin'…"
