Slipping through the hidden rooms and into the bedroom that they knew the young Link had been given, Sooga paused as he scanned the room. The glow from the light crystals scattered around gave just enough light to allow for ease of movement in the dark. It was a basic room in Gerudo City; a small floor table to sit at and do work sat next to the window, crystal lamps sat in each corner, sucking up light during the day to throw out a glow at night; a small dresser sat near the bed to act like a side table, and of course the bed.

He nearly choked on his own tongue once he registered the sight of the young warrior who had stopped their Master from completing the plan that Astor had set into motion. And would most likely continue to stop despite the bit of Ganon's magic inhabiting the tiny Guardian.

He hadn't expected the other to wear so little to bed, much less how he actually looked. Link was in bed, laying on his side, slightly curled up around the light weight blanket that was there mostly to warm the user against the colder desert nights. But beyond the blanket that was curled over one hip, his legs were bare up to the long shirt that covered him from hip on. The shirt fell off of his shoulders though, his hair loose around his face and spread over the pillow, golden in the gentle glow.

He hadn't expected to see Link in such a position, especially while he continued to sleep peacefully, not reacting to his presence as a danger.

Shaking himself free of his thoughts, Sooga stepped fully into the room and carefully walked over to where there was a glass of water, still icy to the touch, sat. He placed the letter from Master Kohga onto the dresser, making sure it wouldn't disappear with a small stone. He looked over Link again and went still as the young warrior grumbled something about fruit and wheat before going lax after he had shifted some. His hair fell into his face, gently blowing back and forth as he breathed.

Taking a deep breath to calm his heated blood, Sooga reached out and brushed the bit of hair out of Link's face, smiling under his mask at the soft sigh. Link rubbed his face into his pillow and blanket with a hum, surprisingly full lips turning up into a soft smile.

Deciding that it would be best if he left before he was found by a patrol, Sooga slipped out of the window and headed back through the desert. He used his long honed skills to get through the desert lands and arrived quickly at the hideout without encountering a patrolling warrior. Rolling his shoulders as he walked in, he nodded to his fellow Bladesmen and went to find their Head.

Despite what outsiders may think, they did respect Master Kohga quite a bit. Their last head had turned out to not be the sanest, doing quite a bit of damage not only to their people but their reputation. When Master Kohga had trained himself into a better physical status, he had challenged her and taken her down, becoming the Head of the Yiga Clan.

He had taken quite a few weeks after that to heal but he had decided that from that point on, he would lose the goofy, fat leader persona only when he had to. Sooga and two other Master Bladesmen under him knew the real reasons regarding his decision while the rest of the clan knew that he was stronger than he showed the rest of the world but didn't know why.

The world at large respected them as the warriors that they were, but they tended to dislike Kohga. And in return, the Yiga respected them outside of the Sheikah and the King of Hyrule for their own reasons.

They could still remember the fact that he was the direct descendant of the bastard that had set everything off with Calamity Ganon and made their duties that much harder. They didn't know for sure, but they had a feeling that the way the first Ganondorf had been forced to bow before the Hyrule king as if he wasn't a King himself had been the tipping point.

Before then, his mothers had worked magic that no one could figure out. The fact that his second-in-command and half sister had to take over as Queen, the man not having a child himself, had meant that they had to settle into a new kind of life.

Sooga frowned as he stepped into Kohga's room, blinking when he caught the man staring back at him without his mask. It looked as if he was staring at his mask in thought, most likely thinking about what he was going to do now that the Goddess Hylia had decided to speak with them. "Master," he started, Kohga shaking his head.

"No. No Master right now between us. Just lovers and longer friends," Kohga stated.

They all knew that when Kohga meant business, he would remove the mask he wore just like every other Yiga Clan Member wore, and would replace it with the Blank Mask. It had been created by the young King Ganondorf the First when he had learned of his magic and was practicing. It had been infused with quite a bit of protective magic and would only allow the True Head of the Yiga clan to wear it.

It was a way to stop any who thought they could take over the clan without doing the correct traditions and rituals.

Sooga smiled, nodding as he mentally shook off his memories. He sat at the table and stared at his lover, looking at him. Like every Yiga, Kohga had dyed his hair black, including any and all hair that was to be seen by another. He had even dyed the slim amount of hair under his belly button and around his groin.

He finally reached up with a sigh, removing his own mask. "I think that there is much more to the young warrior than what either of us have heard. I know that our contacts learned that he followed his deceased father's path into the Knights, but beyond that..."

"Beyond that, there is much that is known about him, yes," Kohga stated. He shook his head, putting his normal mask down next to the white one. "I do know that I'm going to need to pick up training again if we are to save our King."

"Indeed. Do you think that Lady Urbosa will step down from the throne if we are able to save him?" he asked. Kohga snorted as he sat back, pulling his legs up.

Despite what most would think, he did keep up with a certain level of health and training. He had to be able to do his personal techniques and those took some form of stamina. Granted, the way that he allowed himself to weigh meant that they were weaker than normal didn't mean that they were by any means weak. Just stamina consuming.

"I do not think so. Nor do I think that Lord Ganondorf will really wish to take the seat of King again without some guarantees," Kohga stated as he frowned. "When I took the Leadership of the Yiga clan, I slept with the Blank Mask, like all others before her had done. I spoke with that last bit that is still our Lord. I thought that it had just been a kind of echo from his magic though, but now… Anyway, he warned me that things would come to a head, sooner than we all thought, and that we would have to choose a side. We can either help each other or we can fight against each other. Either way we would lose people.

"Last night though, I slept with the mask and spoke with not only our Lord but with Goddess Hylia. She gave me more details on what was going on. Astor is using us, but only in the way that he is being used himself. We're warm bodies to them and about as useful as cannon fodder against the Chosen Warrior. Against the rest of the world." He took a deep breath. "And eventually, as sacrifices to Demise itself."

Sooga sucked in a sharp breath, body going rigid at that thought. "He will turn against us? For what? Power? Manipulation?" he asked, voice hard as steel.

"For blessings from Demise, as far as I can figure. Or at least to be free enough to do as he wishes, should Calamity Ganon take over the world," Kohga stated. He shifted as he reached out, pouring hydromelon wine into two cups. "For now though, I believe that we should start to train all those who can fight to do so. Train those who cannot how to get people out or to lead others out. We'll need to start moving base to somewhere safe again. Perhaps Queen Urbosa will allow us to access our original home near the town, and get to all those hidden secrets."

Sooga sighed, placing his mask down next to his lover's mask and frowned, watching as his partner played with a cup in one hand and the Blank mask in the other. "Tomorrow?" he asked finally. He smiled when Kohga stopped playing with the mask to shove over a fruit mix and the other cup of wine. His partner knew that he would always want something light on his stomach before bed and the fruit mix he had there was perfect.

"Tomorrow," Kohga agreed, nodding his head with a soft smile. "Now, tell me how the delivery of the letter went. Does the little warrior wear pants and a long sleeved shirt to bed like all the rumors say that he does?" he asked, leaning towards his lover.

"Somewhere in-between," Sooga chuckled. He told his lover about how the delivery had gone, Kohga sighing about missing the sight of strong legs and creamy thighs after Sooga went over that. They both loved each other quite a bit, but they both knew that they would like to play with others if they found someone who straddled the line of androgyny that Link did.

It was a nice way to build up some anticipation, the description disguised as a report, before they found their way to bed for the night.
