It was the day of the match and the ORC and servants were waiting in the clubroom for Grayfia to come get them. Everyone was in their usual gear except for Issei who was wearing his Chadea Combat Uniform Mystic Code which caught the ORC's attention. Issei usually fought in his school uniform or whatever clothes he was wearing. The only time he wore something different was when they assaulted the base of the Fallen Angels, where he wore his normal Chaldea uniform. During their time in Chaldea they all received temporary combat uniforms for training and knew that the clothes were reinforced with Magecraft to make them more durable. Issei also showed that they had other functions that he used to empower the servants as they were fighting. They wanted to borrow it for the match but Da Vinci told them that only Chaldea staff can have them and that even the fact they were borrowing it for training was bending the rules so they couldn't.

As the group was killing time a magic circle finally appeared in the clubroom and Grayfia appeared holding a case with a crest on it. "Greetings everyone. I am here to take you to the battlefield and to deliver these for the Sekiryuutei and his servants." She opened the case and revealed rings of metal with symbols carved on them representing a chess piece. "These are Lord Beelzebub's latest invention, temporary pieces. When you put them on you will register in the system as having an evil piece but the boost they give is half of that of a regular piece."

"I see." Issei said walking up to Grayfia. He grabbed a pawn ring and put it on. "Is it working?" He asked the maid.

Grayfia looked at the device provided by Adjuka Beelzebub and confirmed its functionality. "Yes the device works." Issei nodded and provided rings to the others. He gave Mash the rook, Medea Lily got the bishop, Artoria got the knight, and everyone else got pawns along with Issei. Everyone seemed to have adjusted properly and turned to Grayfia. Grayfia explained the rules of the match so that everyone was clear on the conditions. "Also, the match will be viewed by members of both families that are participating, including the Maoh."

Rias made a serious face. "I see, so Onii-sama is watching as well. I will have to make sure not to show him something shameful."

Issei was looking at Rias with wide eyes. "Wait a sec Rias! Your older brother is the Maoh!?"

Kiba was the one to answer. "Yes, Buchou's older brother is Lucifer."

"Oh, ok." Issei said bewildered at the information he just learned.

Akeno chuckled at Issei's reaction. "Not expecting Rias' brother to be Lucifer, were you?"

Issei just shook his head. Looks like I'm gonna have to rethink what I say to Rias' family a bit. I can only push my luck so far. He thought to himself.

Grayfia continued once she saw their conversation end. "Now I shall teleport you to the battlefield. Please be aware that once you are there you will not be able to use a magic circle till the game ends." Everyone nodded and soon they were sent to the battlefield.

Once the light from the magic circle died down, Issei looked around and saw… the clubroom? Issei was confused, wondering if the magic circle worked. Rias had an annoyed look on her face. "That asshole. He doesn't even care if we have a home field advantage." Issei was confused at what Rias meant but once he looked out the window it made sense. The sky was green and looked as if it was covered by a barrier but aside from that it looked like the school grounds he was familiar with.

As everyone was getting their bearings Grayfia's voice was projected so that everyone on the battlefield could hear her. "As per Riser-sama's request the battlefield has been modeled after Kuoh Academy. Each team's base is at opposite ends of the battlefield, with Rias' being the Occult Research Club building and Riser's being the Student Council's clubroom. Both teams will have 30 minutes to plan their strategies before the match begins. The winner will be declared when one of the kings are retired. Please begin planning your strategies" After she finished explaining the ORC gathered and began discussing battle plans.

"All right. Let's go over the plan now that we know what the terrain is." Said Rias.

Issei nodded. "Since Riser was "generous" enough to give us home field advantage this makes planning our route to him easier. We will go with our plan to split into 5 teams. Kiba, Artoria, and Enkidu will go to the sports field and circle around that way. Koneko, Altera, Medea Lily, and I will go to the gymnasium. Berserker will rush straight to the enemy base and cause havoc at Riser's base and Rias will approach with everyone else after some time to face Riser. Emiya will find a place with a good view of the battlefield and help everyone with long range attacks."

Everyone nodded in agreement, then Rias weighed in. "We should destroy the gym after we acquire it since our goal is to converge on Riser. There is no need to keep a forward base and we shouldn't leave it for Riser's peerage to obtain either. If we get rid of the gym then that area becomes a big open space where there is no cover which would make them easy targets for Emiya-san."

Issei nodded then turned to Berserker. "When you get there you will be able to promote since you are a pawn. I would suggest turning into either a rook, knight, or queen when you get there. Remember that you only need to rough them up a bit, you can eliminate a few but leave Riser and his queen for Rias and the others to deal with."

"Yes Master. Let's hope they will at least be strong enough to be a workout for me." Said Berserker.

"On that note, I wanted to warn you of something." The others were wondering what he was so concerned about that he felt the need to warn his servant. "Riser is a pompous and self-important person who looks down on women. There is a chance he will make a comment about you being a pretty woman." The servants were looking at Issei like he was a madman while the ORC were confused on why that was a problem but quickly understood when the pressure in the room suddenly intensified. If one looked closely at Berserker's face you could see that she had a vicious scowl on her face and her eyes had turned red with her golden pupils remaining. "Yeah, it's that reaction that I was worried about. I know it's a big ask for you but I need you to keep yourself under control so that Rias can deal with Riser."

Berserker stared at Issei for a bit then turned her gaze to Rias who stiffened under it but did not look away. After a moment Berserker folded her arms and closed her eyes, calming herself and getting rid of the pressure she was emitting. She opened her eyes and they were back to normal. "I understand Master. I will do my best to keep myself under control." She looked at Rias again. "I understand the need to get back at a man who disrespected you, so I won't take the opportunity to get back at him away from you."

Rias showed a grateful smile. "Thank you Berserker-san. Feel free to rough him up a bit. After all he can regenerate from most any wound and despite my distaste for him I do acknowledge that he is strong. But that should just mean he won't break as easily as his servants when you fight him." Rias showed a slightly villainous smile.

Berserker smiled back viciously. "I look forward to it."

Everyone there was sweating at the conversation the two ladies were having. Issei was glad they were bonding, despite the subject they were bonding over. "Well anyways, who will destroy the gym?" He asked.

Rias turned to Issei. "We can leave it to Akeno to do that. Once you claim the gym you can signal us and I will send Akeno ahead to take care of it."

"All right. Once the gym is claimed I will leave Madea Lily with Akeno and Ashtart should join her when she goes ahead to destroy the gym. Koneko can join up with you and Altera and I will either move ahead towards Riser or if Kiba's group is still fighting, will go to assist them." Everybody agreed and prepared for the match to begin.

After 30 minutes passed the match finally began. Berserker immediately launched herself out the window and full sprinted to the Student Council clubroom. Kiba and his team left to go to the sports field while Koneko and Issei's team started heading to the gym. As they were making their way there they heard a loud crashing sound in the distance. This put them on alert as they approached but when they got to the gym they saw the doors busted down and if they looked across they could see the wall on the other end of the building busted down. "This is Berserker's work. She literally ran through the gym, busting down the doors and the walls since they were in the way." The others nodded in agreement with Issei's assessment. As they were moving to enter the gym an announcement was made.

"Riser's Rook and two pawns retired."

Issei smiled at the announcement knowing that Berserker must have just plowed through them since he didn't hear much noise. "It's nice to know that they will announce when someone is eliminated. This will help us alter our strategy when necessary." Koneko and the other two nodded in agreement. "We should get ready. Berserker's goal is to rough up Riser and since she eliminated a few of his pieces that means some are on their way here. Although I wouldn't be surprised if some went back to try and back up their king."

As if on cue a group appeared from the opposite side of the gym. Three girls appeared and readied themselves to fight. The older looking girl stepped forward. "We are Riser-sama's pawns. I am Mira and the two with turquoise hair behind me are Ile and Nel. For our Master's sake we will defeat you here." She stated firmly.

Koneko readied herself against Mira while Issei and Altera stood opposite of the twins. "You have a nice resolve but unfortunately we have greater reasons why we cannot lose." Altera stated to the pawns while readying her sword.

The twins readied their chainsaws and Mira readied her staff. After a few moments the two groups launch towards each other. Koneko was trading blows with Mira while Issei and Altera were using their blades to deflect the two chainsaw wielding girls who were swinging them around rather recklessly. Issei and Altera were having no trouble so the two girls upped the ante by setting their chainsaws on fire and swinging them around. Yeah that's what the crazy chainsaw girls were missing, flaming chainsaws. Issei thought to himself. Mira saw the twins turning up the heat and since she wasn't making headway with Koneko she decided to do the same. The end of her staff burst into flames as she was swinging it at Koneko.

As she was swinging at Koneko, Mira got a good hit in, slightly singeing her. Mira smirked thinking she was making headway but suddenly Koneko's wound was gone. "What the!? How did you heal!?" She questioned loudly.

Koneko just smirked slightly and moved in on the now distracted girl. She delivered a fierce punch to her midsection, completely knocking her out and retiring her from the match.

"Riser's pawn retired."

Announced Grayfia. Issei and Altera took this as their queue to wrap things up with the twins. "Altera, let's finish up and move to the next phase." Issei ordered.

"Yes Master." Replied Altera and the pair moved in on the twins. Issei used his projection to launch blades at the twins. The twins stopped to deal with them but as they were distracted Altera was pouring her energy into her blade. Once she had enough she swiftly thrust the blade in the twins direction letting loose a blast of light from it and taking out the pawns.

"Riser's two pawns retired."

Issei gave Koneko and Altera a thumbs up and both nodded back to him. "All right let's signal Rias so she can send Akeno."

After that they exited the gym and signaled Rias. Not long after, Akeno appeared in her miko outfit with Ashtart at her side. Medea Lily floated up to Akeno while Issei, Koneko, and Altera cleared the gym. Akeno built up power in her hand then released a large lightning bolt on the gym destroying it. She showed a satisfied smile on her face but it quickly became serious as someone appeared. It was Riser's queen Yubelluna. She sneered at Akeno. "The Gremory's queen. Hmph, I'm not impressed." She said while flipping her hair.

Akeno kept her smile on her face but it was clear that she was pissed as sparking electricity was appearing around her. "Oh? Those are some provoking words from an old hag."

Yubelluna just brushed off Akeno's comment. "Let's see how long you'll last, little girl." Power began to radiate off of her. The two queens began their battle as Ashtart and Medea Lily watched, ready to jump in if necessary.

Issei, Altera, and Koneko took that as their queue to leave. Koneko and Altera went back to Rias as Issei went to Kiba's location. As he left he could hear the sounds of explosions behind him from Akeno's battle.

As Issei was heading to Kiba's location he could hear the sounds of both Akeno's battle and the ruckus that Berserker was causing. Things seem to be proceeding smoothly. But I shouldn't get ahead of myself. We need to eliminate as much of Riser's peerage as possible so that they don't interfere in the main fight. Issei thought to himself. As he was approaching he could hear the sounds of steel clashing against steel. Once he entered the clearing he saw the battle that was happening ahead. Kiba and Artoria fighting two of Riser's sword wielders. Meanwhile Enkidu was keeping three other people at bay with his chains. "Is this a private party or can anybody join?" Issei said playfully.

Everyone turned to see him there with Kiba, Artoria, and Enkidu giving him a small smile. "We have plenty of guests that need partners so feel free to join in Issei-kun." Said Kiba with his usual refreshing smile.

Issei nodded and started walking to where Enkidu was holding off the other girls. As he approached one of the girls that was blonde with twin tail drill hair spoke. "You are… the Sekiryuutei who was foolish enough to challenge Onii-sama."

"Oh? So you are Riser's sister? I never expected him to be into that sort of thing." Issei commented.

The girl's face became red and she quickly denied it. "N-no! I'm not in that kind of relationship with Onii-sama! I'm just on his team to gain experience in Rating Games!"

"Oh, I see. My bad then."

The girl quickly tried to regain some dignity after her outburst. "A-anyway, my name is Ravel Phenex. I am Onii-sama's bishop and we shall defeat you here for the Phenex house's honor."

Issei smiled and took a stance. "In that case, I will defeat you here for Rias' freedom." He said with a smile. He gave a signal to Enkidu who moved his chains out of the way so that he could face the enemies.

Only two of the three girls moved in. Ravel stayed back as the other two servants moved in. One girl who looked like a Princess Leia cosplay (From Return of the Jedi) went after Enkidu while the girl with the half mask went after Issei. As she approached she announced herself. "I am Riser-sama's rook, Isabela." She stated firmly as she took a boxing fighting stance.

"I am Rias' pawn for this game, Hyoudou Issei. Let's see how strong you are." Issei said with a brave smile and the two lunged at each other. Issei manifested his Boosted Gear on both his hands and was trading blows with the rook. Her blows were no joke as even though Issei was doing his best to dodge and deflect the attacks, those that did connect did a significant amount of damage. If he wasn't reinforcing his body with Magecraft his bones would have been completely broken. It's a good thing I trained my body with Shishou otherwise I don't think I would be able to endure this. Issei thought to himself.

Isabela backed off a bit after not making much headway and taking some hits herself. "Heh, you're not bad for a human. I guess you're not the Sekiryuutei for nothing."

"Thanks for the backhanded compliment. But this level of strength is nowhere near enough for me."

The rook showed a smile which Issei wasn't expecting. "That's a good mindset. I'm of the same opinion for myself as well. So why don't we see who wants that strength more?"

Issei smiled back and took a more serious stance. "Gladly."

While they were going at it Enkidu and Artoria were just stalling as they deflected the attacks of Riser's knight and pawn. The two servants were obviously getting angry as they could tell that their opponents weren't taking them seriously. Meanwhile Kiba was starting to gain an advantage over the other knight who was now using a flaming sword to fight him. Kiba created a new sword and swung it at the enemy knight. When their swords clashed Kiba's sword started absorbing the flames. "Wha!? What did you do!?" Asked the knight.

"This sword is called flame delete. As you can probably guess, it erases flames." Kiba answered calmly. He then slashed the knight and she was defeated.

"Riser's knight retired."

The other knight was now concerned as her counterpart was defeated, so she tried to finish off Artoria but was not making any headway. Artoria saw that Kiba was finished with his fight and her Master was busy with his fight so she decided to wrap things up as well. She pushed back the other knight causing her to lose balance, then Artoria slashed her once and the knight was defeated.

"Riser's knight retired."

Enkidu saw Artoria finish her fight so he decided to do the same. He used his chains to wrap up the pawn he was fighting then continued to slam her on the ground over and over until she lost consciousness. Once she was out she faded away also.

"Riser's pawn retired."

Kiba looked at the lancer with a strained smile. "While that was effective, that was kinda brutal Enkidu-kun."

Enkidu looked at Kiba with a deadpan face. "Well, my other idea was to spear them with the chains until they bled out." He said something rather dangerous as an alternative.

As they were talking amongst themselves Ravel was looking at the three nervously. She never expected all of Riser's pieces to be taken out so easily. The only one left was the rook fighting the Sekiryuutei and they were completely absorbed in their fight. She readied herself to fight even though she was nervous but the other three didn't make any moves to fight against her. She was confused as to why, if not slightly grateful. She turned her attention to the ones still fighting so as to gauge the Sekiryuutei's strength.

At this point Issei and Isabela had stopped bothering to dodge each others' attacks after a bit of time since neither were making much headway, so now the two were just punching the crap out of each other. After a while the two stopped to catch their breath. They were breathing heavily while smiling at each other. "Huff… haaa… You're pretty good Sekiryuutei." Said Isabela.

"Heh, you're not half bad yourself. I would like to go a little longer but unfortunately I have to save some energy for your boss so let's end things here."

[BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST!]

Issei powered up using his Sacred Gear and launched himself at Isabela. The increase to his abilities took her by surprise as she wasn't able to respond fast enough. He delivered a powerful punch to her gut and she was immediately knocked out and retired.

"Riser's rook retired."

Issei dusted off his hands and turned his sight to the bishop who was now clearly afraid of him. "So what now little birdie? Are you gonna fight or you gonna fly back to your brother?" Issei asked but showed no sign of preparing to fight.

Ravel blushed at the new nickname she got. "My name is Ravel!" She said slightly upset. After a moment she asked something that was bothering her. "You're not gonna take me out too?"

Issei gave her a disinterested look. "If you're not gonna fight then there is no reason to, right? Besides, I try not to make a habit out of beating up pretty girls."

Ravel blushed harder at being called pretty. She then made a serious look towards Issei. "Sekiryuutei, why are you involving yourself in this?"

Issei looked exasperated. "This question again. Is it really so unbelievable that I want to help someone important to me? I don't know what it is about devil society that makes you all think that people can't make their own decisions but it is seriously starting to get on my nerves." He turned to face the girl fully. "Rias deserves to choose her own future. Trying to force someone to follow a system that they want no part in will worsen your entire situation."

"It can't be something so simple. You are getting something out of this right?"

"I wouldn't say I'm not, but it's not like I'm doing this with that intention. I'm helping Rias because I respect her and she asked me to. There is no deeper meaning behind it."

"So you're risking your life and freedom for nothing?"

"If you see it as nothing then we clearly aren't going to come to an understanding. I will make it clear so that there is no misunderstanding." His line of sight moved away from Ravel and up to the sky when he said that, then he turned back to Ravel. "I believe Rias has the right to choose who she wants to be with. Anyone who would impede that is lower than trash and I will fight against them regardless of who they are associated with."

Ravel was almost speechless. She could tell he was absolutely serious. She couldn't help but be a little jealous of Rias for having someone who genuinely cared about her like this. "If you care about her this much, why didn't you become her servant?"

Issei gave her a look like she was asking a dumb question. "Were you not listening to anything I have said? People have the right to choose their own path. That includes me as well. I care about Rias but I like to make my own decisions as well."

Ravel pouted then looked towards Kiba's group. "Then what about them?" She asked as she pointed to Artoria and Enkidu.

Artoria stepped forward and answered. "We have made contracts with Master for the sake of mutual benefit. We can break these contracts if we so choose but there is no real benefit in doing so. On top of that we are servants to Master in name for the most part. He allows us to do as we please for the most part and does not make us do anything we do not wish to." Artoria showed a small smile. "More often than not Master is going along with what we desire instead of the other way around, but we are truly grateful to him."

Ravel was stunned by this then looked towards Issei who was scratching his cheek awkwardly with a smile. She began to understand his situation. His servants were more like employees rather than indentured servants to him, so their relationship was different than those of a devil and their peerage. "You know, even if you break up this arrangement another will be made."

Issei gave her a side glance. "And? Did you think I hadn't considered that? This battle is to prove that Rias can handle herself. Once she wins this battle it will set her on the path of independence from others. Meaning that no matter what anyone else says, she will do as she likes." Issei sneered at Ravel. "Tell me, what did you think would happen if Rias did end up marrying Riser?"

Ravel wasn't expecting that question. She hadn't really thought about it since it didn't really pertain to her. "Uhm… I don't know, I just thought I would get a new sister."

Issei gave her a pitying look which annoyed her. "You poor innocent child. Did you really think an arranged marriage between a pompous douche and a woman who hates his guts would be a peaceful life?"

Ravel took a moment to process what he said but eventually it clicked in her head. This was a horrible idea. "W-why didn't I recognize this sooner!?"

Issei had to hold in his laughter from the girl's reaction. "It seems to be a common theme among the supernatural to just go along with what someone says. It's kinda sad really." Issei seemed to be satisfied and signaled the others to move. "Well anyways, it's been a fun chat little birdie, but I have a scheduled meeting to go kick your brother's ass." He started walking past her and to where Riser was. As he was doing so.

KABOOOM!

A loud explosion was heard in the distance. It was coming in the direction of Riser's base. Rias and Riser must have begun their fight. "We need to hurry otherwise we'll miss out on all the action!" Issei yelled and the others started running towards the battle.

Before Issei could go, Ravel called out to him. "Wait!" Issei paused and looked at her. "Do you really think you can beat my brother?" She had lost her condescending attitude from before and was now simply curious.

Issei just showed her a smile. "I dunno, but that doesn't mean I'm not gonna try." He said confidently and ran off after the others.

Ravel just looked at the area he ran off to, stunned by his answer. He was speaking so confidently before but is he actually an idiot!? Ravel thought not expecting such an irresponsible response.

(Earlier. Akeno POV)

As Issei was running to assist Kiba, Akeno was getting ready for her fight with Yubelluna. Rias and her group were moving to where Riser was but were going around so as not to get in the way of Akeno's fight. She was currently generating a lot of electricity from being angered by Riser's queen. Floating behind her were Issei's servants Ashtart and Medea Lily. They were waiting behind her in order to back her up in case things looked dire. She was grateful to Issei for lending powerful people to help her and Rias.

After a few moments of silence, Riser's queen spoke again. "So how long do you plan on just floating there? Or are you too afraid to fight me? Not that I can blame you." Yubelluna said haughtily.

"Ara ara, someone has some confidence just because they are older." Akeno mocked.

A vein visibly showed on the Phenex queen's face. "Don't get cocky brat! I'll show you why you can never measure up to me!" She said while puffing out her chest and extending her hand outwards Power began to build as she was readying to take Akeno and her teammates out in one attack.

Akeno decided to counter power with power and began gathering power in her hand as well while creating some distance. Ashtart and Medea Lily moved out of the way so as to not get caught up in it. Akeno finished building power faster than Yubelluna and launched her lightning at her. Yubelluna hadn't finished building up power but had to launch her attack early so as to not get hit. The two attacks clashed and created a big explosion. Medea Lily used her magic to contain the explosion so as to not interfere with Issei's group and Rias' group with all the power that was being thrown around. Yubelluna had to use magic to protect herself since she was close to the blast while Akeno was readying her next attack. "Ufufufu, you definitely are strong, but I wonder if you can handle this?" Akeno said as she prepared to launch multiple lightning attacks at once.

Yubelluna grit her teeth and prepared to try and seal Akeno. "Don't get ahead of yourself brat!" A magic circle appeared in her hand and she aimed at Akeno. Before she could finish a maroon orb came flying at her disrupting her spell as she dodged. She watched the orb as it changed direction midair and returned to its source. Ashtart was holding up her hand in front of her and the orb floated right above it. "You-" Yubelluna yelled but didn't get to finish.

Akeno finished preparing her attack and rained lightning down on Yubelluna. She did her best to dodge but she got hit by one of the bolts and was stunned allowing more to hit her. As she was suffering Akeno kept letting out a dangerous laugh. "Ufufufufufufufu."

Medea Lily was looking at the girl with a slightly nervous expression. I know I'm in no place to judge but maybe I should warn Master to be careful around her. She thought to herself.

After her attack stopped they could see that Yubelluna was on the ground barely moving. As they were observing her-

"Riser's knight retired."

Akeno and the other two smiled and looked between each other. "Sounds like Kiba-kun and Issei-kun are having fun on their end. We should wrap this up quickly and join Rias before the boys catch up."

As she was turning to face Yubelluna again she was met with a large attack heading her direction. She quickly tried to deploy a magic barrier to protect herself but she wasn't able to completely block the explosion. Akeno took a significant amount of damage and her Miko outfit was torn. As she was getting her bearings Yubelluna flew up looking as good as new. "Tch! So, you managed to endure that. I will give you credit for being durable but this ends here."

Ashtart was looking at Yubelluna with a serious look. "How did you recover so quickly? You looked like you were barely staying conscious."

Yubelluna gave them a smug look and held up a small bottle. "These are Phoenix Tears. They are a specialty of the Phenex house. They recover all wounds and restore magic power to whoever drinks it."

"How is that fair!? If this is a match then shouldn't items like that be forbidden!?" Ashtart complained.

Yubelluna just scoffed at her. "In official Rating Games each team is provided one bottle of Phoenix Tears, but this isn't an official match so you're out of luck." She said snarkily.

Ashtart showed a slightly displeased face but she glanced behind herself and her expression changed to a small smile. Yubelluna was confused at her sudden change in expression but wasn't given the luxury to wonder why. A bolt of lightning sailed past Ashtart's head and went towards Yubelluna who quickly dodged it. "Ara ara, you aren't the only one who can dish out sneak attacks." Said Akeno confidently, now fully healed.

Yubelluna was shocked. "How!? How did you heal as well!?" She said in a panic.

Akeno just showed a confident smile while electricity flowed around her. Medea Lily and Ashtart moved out of the way again so that they could go another round.

"Riser's knight retired."

Another announcement that told them how things were progressing. Yubelluna's expression became uglier as she was beginning to get fed up with her team falling behind. "Grrrrr. What are those idiots doing!? They are bringing shame to Riser-sama!"

"Riser's pawn retired."

Yubelluna had an indescribable look on her face from how angry she was while Akeno was just laughing at her expense. "Ufufufufufufufufu, looks like things are going exactly as Rias and Issei-kun planned. Not to mention that Issei-kun was right on the mark with how you all would behave during the match. You all were so predictable to him, it makes me excited to see him toy with you all like this." She said with a hand on her cheek and a small blush on her face.

Yubelluna had enough. "You whore! I will end you!" She yelled. She launched explosive magic at Akeno who shot lightning back at her causing another explosion. The smoke from the explosion blocked both of their visions of each other but Akeno wasn't bothered by it. She began immediately charging up magic to mimic Ashtart's Noble Phantasm that she saw once. Yubelluna was trying to get her bearings when another announcement went off.

"Riser's rook retired."

Yubelluna was distracted by the announcement and once the smoke cleared and she saw Akeno it was too late. "It's been fun but I need to finish things up here as well. Goodbye old hag." She said in her usual smile and she launched multiple lightning bolts with the center one being the largest and most powerful. Yubelluna tried to put up a barrier but was too slow. The center bolt destroyed the unfinished barrier and connected with Yubelluna while the rest of the lightning bolts followed suit.

Yubelluna was fried and as she fell to the ground she was only able to get a few words out. "H-how, is this, possible…?" She said as her voice faded and she fell to the ground. Akeno looked down at her and was about to finish things when-.

KABOOOM!

An explosion sounded in the distance. Akeno and the others had serious looks on their faces. "Looks like the final battle has started. We should wrap up here and join Buchou." The others nodded and Ashtart launched her orb at the fallen Yubelluna. It made a hard impact on her and she faded away.

"Riser's queen retired."

Dominated! Riser's peerage are actually kinda pushovers when you think about it. Even their wiki was pretty bare so yeah, the got stomped. On a different note, I saw that some of you were worried I was gonna make this story follow game mechanics and that some were confused about Circe's story. On the first part, while I do like stories with game mechanics in it this will not be one of them. If I did then fights would boil down to a numbers game and that would invalidate any hard work and effort made by characters, so I won't do that. Also, this is a bit of head cannon on my part, but my interpretation of how the game mechanics correlate to the lore of FGO is that servants summoned are not at their full strength and that leveling them up and ascending them puts them closer to their original peak power. Also, FGO is complicated and when you have a story that is serious but also side stuff that's not the two tend to clash so I will leave the 4th wall leaning stuff to side stories like GUDAGUDA and use it sparingly in the main story only if it applies. Secondly, I stated previously that I am on Shimousa in my profile and only have vague details of what lies ahead in the plot. The story I used for Circe was from the Okeanos event that happened a couple of months back which means the Odysseus in the story is the Pan-Human history one, not the Lostbelt one. Also, during this event it temporarily revealed Circe's true name which is the only reason I know it. The same happened with Penthasilia when the save Amazones event happened. This story is following the NA FGO list which is a year behind the JP one. So just assume that every event that has happened in NA is under Issei's belt. The only thing I'm using from the JP FGO is when these things happen (AKA: A year earlier). I'm sure this might upset some of you but in all honesty, I'm trying to make this story flow in an interesting way which means when stuff happens with the FGO plot it is gonna be fuzzy. Since Highschool Dxd takes place over the course of a year before it becomes Shin Highschool DxD I'm going to make sure all the Epic of Remnant happens since that takes place over the course of a year as well. The only thing that's going to be wonky is when the Singularities happen. Same goes for events as well because despite how weird they can be they are all technically canon. I will try my best to avoid using future plot characters but that is hard to do when I don't know who is a part of that so please try to keep the comment section as spoiler free as you can, not just for me but for others who want to experience things firsthand as well.
