AVW Elevation: Episode 2 (February 1, 2022)

("Broken World" by Alex Norre) played in the intro as the entrance way and the ramp lit up with pyro and fireworks in a rhythmic banner with the follow-up of wild cheers from the crowd.

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen! Another night of explosive wrestling and significant moments will be held tonight at Agganis Arena in Boston! I'm Excalibur, on the commentary alongside the veteran, Corey Graves, and the uprising commentator, Shun Kaido!" Excalibur, the leading commentator, introduced himself and to his colleagues, who gestured simultaneously in front of the camera.

"Thank you for that wonderful introduction, Excalibur! I appreciate that, but I am amazingly surprised by your introduction to Kaido." Corey reacted in surprise.

"Hey, I like it, though. Why do you even react to that?" Kaido responded to Corey's instigation.

"You're assuming that I reacted to it in a violent manner, but I didn't react with malice. It's just curiosity." Corey replied, but Kaido decided to ignore it.

"Speaking of curiosity, everyone is wondering if Asuka Langley Soryu will appear here tonight as per GM's directive, a contract signing between her and Rin Tohsaka before their AVW Women's World Championship match next week!" Excalibur announced the upcoming card of the night.

"A handicap match will happen tonight as Naofumi Iwatani will face The Knights of Monarchy. If the Shield Hero wins the match, The Monarchy will no longer be sticking up to his businesses again; but if he fails to secure the victory, who knows what will happen." Kaido continued.

"Plus, an international flavor of a match as Kill la Familia will be competing in a Tag Match against the newcomers from other parts of the world, Team Stratos!" Corey added.

("Falling Down" by Oasis) was played in the arena as the crowd reacted negatively as the trio appeared from the entrance. Haruhi was staring at the public, who relished their jeers as she signaled her two members to follow her.

"This tag team match is a quarterfinals match of the Tag Team Turbulence Tournament, and it is set for one fall with a time limit of 30 minutes. Introducing first, representing SOS Brigade, the team of Yato and Yukine!" Mai Sakurajima announced.

"After losing the Six-Man Tag Team Match last week, SOS Brigade looks to rebound their momentum here tonight by entering the Tag Team Turbulence Tournament!" Excalibur said.

"It's not too late for the brigade to redeem themselves and eliminate any possible wastes here at AVW," Corey said.

"But wait a minute, where's Kyon, though? He's not with them!" Kaido observed the team's presence, missing the tallest person in their group.

"Well, Haruhi Suzumiya will provide us with any updates regarding their brigade whenever she wants to! She doesn't want to ruin the reputation of her colleagues or the group itself.

Speaking of group, the brigade entered the ring as the trio gestured the three letters representing them. Both Yato and Yukine gestured the two S', while Haruhi made the O in the middle to the bad reception of the crowd. The music stopped abruptly to give way to their opponents' entrance.

("Weirdo" by The Vaccines) was next in line to play as the crowd reacted optimistically to the arrival of the other team. The young man entered first and waited for his partner, who was wearing an office attire, and both went their way towards the ring.

"And their opponents, from Seasoning City, the team of Shigeo Kageyama and Arataka Reigen!" Mai Sakurajima introduced the other team, which the brigade looked at them menacingly.

"We've seen the presence of Kageyama back at Winter Warfare and was one of the competitors who got eliminated early and didn't have a chance to shine that night. Can this night be his night and for Reigen?" Excalibur said.

"It is a possibility," Kaido answered. "I mean, look at them; they look like they're in a working relationship, and work means chemistry."

"So are the siblings on the other side, they have the chemistry as well but better, and they proved that last week," Corey responded.

The team of Shigeo and Arataka arrived at the apron, where Shigeo volunteered himself to start the match while Yato began from the brigade. With all this going out of the way, the referee signals the timekeeper to ring the bell and chimes loudly to start the match.

"One of these teams will advance to the semi-finals of the tournament, which will take place in a few weeks!" Excalibur announced. The match begins with a short tie-up until Yato wraps the head of Shigeo in a headlock with a takeover to the mat, but Shigeo uses his feet to grab the head with a Leg Scissors, and Yato quickly escapes the hold.

The match resets with another tie-up but is shortened as Shigeo takes his turn to headlock Yato until he takes him over to the mat, where Yato counters with leg scissors, with Shigeo escaping hastily as a stalemate was occurred with the crowd mildly applauding to it.

"Well, a tit for tat for these two, and we already know what's in store for the tag team division here in AVW with these competitors, setting the tone up to become recognized and to become the Tag Team Champions as well," Corey said.

Yato attempts to run at Shigeo, who surprises him with a Drop Toe Hold as he wraps the legs of Yato in a submission hold, but Yato warily crawls towards the bottom rope, clenching to it as the referee begins to count, but Shigeo decides to let go of the hold. Shigeo then tags Arataka as the former stomps the back of Yato, followed by the latter. Arataka covers Yato but only for a quick two-count.

"So far, the momentum still belongs to Arataka and Shigeo, and Arataka picks up his opponent by the hair," Shun said as Arataka hits an STO, planting Yato in the canvas. Arataka then whips Yato to a vacated corner as he runs towards him, but his face gets struck by the turnbuckle with the lucky escape of Yato, who quickly runs into a tag to Yukine to the excitement of Haruhi and to the boos of the crowd.

"Here comes the fresher partner of Yato, Yukine, and seems to be in an adrenaline rush, setting sights over Reigen," Corey said. Yukine then runs to the corner where Arataka is and nails a Double Knee Strike to the back, followed by a Belly-to-Back Suplex. Yukine goes for the pin attempt, but Arataka kicks out at two.

"A kickout from Arataka in two as Yukine takes the match for his team with his attacks to the defenseless Arataka," Excalibur said as Yukine spams punches to the face of Arataka; this moment concerns Shigeo, who attempts to further extend his arm but to no avail. Yukine sees this as he mocks the opposition when he grabs Arataka and extends the arms of the fragile blonde to Shigeo, who gives a stern look to Yukine, much to the satisfaction of the brigade.

"Look at that! That's just plain harsh for them to do that!" Shun complained. While Yukine tags his partner Yato, who climbs up to the top while Yato holds the body of Aratake as he hits a Double Axe Handle, sending him down. The tag team offense did not end yet as the brigade shared fives with one another and hit a Double Elbow Drop as Yato covered Arataka, only for a two count. This count made the brigade almost lose their sanity momentarily.

"Somehow, someway, Arataka is surviving these offenses from the brigade. I don't know what gives, but the match still rolls on with the brigade in favor of the match." Corey said. Yato begins to stomp the body of Arataka, who tries to defend himself but was no effect from covering himself as Yato whips Arataka to an empty corner to hit a Corner Splash, squashing Arataka badly, and Yato sends Arataka to the top.

"Uh-oh! They're on the top turnbuckle now. I don't think this will gonna end well for Arataka and Shigeo." Shun said. Yato climbs up to the second turnbuckle, attempting to hit a big move, but Arataka shows signs of life as he punches Yato a few times to send him back to the canvas.

Arataka was far from his opponent as he took the chance to tag his partner in and climbed down and leaped towards their corner to extend the arm, but all of a sudden, Shigeo fell from the apron, face first, courtesy of Yukine, who received no love from the crowd.

"Wow! A brilliant strategy for the brigade to keep Arataka inside the ring as the legal man!" Corey exclaimed with joy after seeing an effective tactic. Arataka then turns around to meet a Lariat from Yato as the latter quickly covers the former.

Arataka kicks out as Yato is baffled at the kickout. Because of this, Yato tags Yukine in as the former sets him up in a Powerbomb position while the latter climbs up to the top to end the match. However, when Yato lifts Arataka up, the blonde uses his momentum to take a chance on attacking Yato's face with punches while Yukine and Haruhi look in disbelief. Yato releases Arataka, who lands behind him as he shoves Yato to the corner, where Yukine lands on the turnbuckle in his nether regions.

"Unbelievable! Arataka plays possum with his crafty strategy to take the two out in their corner! And this could be the opening that they needed desperately!" Excalibur exclaimed as Arataka quickly crawled towards their corner with his arms wide extended. Arataka successfully tags Shigeo in with the crowd lit up after the tag.

"Uh-oh! Here comes Shigeo, looking for some offense to alleviate the momentum of the brigade!" Shun said.

Shigeo enters the ring to run towards the opposite corner as Yato launches Shigeo to the top turnbuckle, where Shigeo surprisingly grabs Yukine to throw him with an Overhead Belly-to-Belly Suplex, sending Yukine to the canvas. Shigeo sees Yato standing as he plants him with a Tornado DDT, sending him outside to the crowd's delight.

"Wow! I have never seen someone executing moves in quick succession!" Corey was impressed with the hot tag of Shigeo.

Shigeo focuses on Yukine, who begins to stand up to hit with three running forearm shots, an Atomic Drop, and a Lariat, crashing Yukine down to the mat as he covers him for a pin.

Yato breaks the count for the team, continuing the match.

"The team of Arataka and Kageyama almost got the W there, but the brigade spoils the chances!" Excalibur exclaimed after seeing the break.

Shigeo focuses on Yato as he gives a kick to the gut and then tags the now-standing Arataka as he enters. Shigeo went for the Double Underhook position while Arataka grabbed the legs of Yato to hit a DDT on Yato.

"Oh! The 100% Teamwork! The team hit the Double Underhook DDT with an assist, spiking Yato in the mat!" Excalibur exclaimed.

After the move, Arataka then decides to climb up to the second turnbuckle as Haruhi decides to stand over the apron, much to the chagrin of the crowd. Because of this, Shigeo went to the apron, where Haruhi was standing to scold her. Unfortunately, from behind, Yukine stands and uppercuts the underneath of Arataka with the crowd booing their illegal tactic. Arataka then drops to the mat as Yato somehow stands up to the top while Yukine begins to grab Arataka as the team delivers a Spike Piledriver, landing Arataka's head on the mat. Yato attacks Shigeo from behind, sending him outside with a clothesline as Haruhi climbs down. Yukine then slowly crawls to the unconscious Arataka.

The bell rang in succession as their music played while the crowd loudly felt the displeasure at the finish as the brigade stood tall, where Haruhi then entered the ring to applaud them.

"Here are your winners, SOS Brigade!" Mai Sakurajima announced the victors as that team raised their hands in celebration with the referee in the middle while the crowd had none of their illegal tactics.

"Spike On the Soul is what they meant with their SOS Driver, and this helped the SOS Brigade to advance to the semi-finals of the tag team tournament!" Corey said.

"I can't believe they just made the match dirty with their questionable strategies! The crowd is irate for this team!" Shun replied.

"Even though it's illegal, the match stands still with the referee got distracted by their leader, Haruhi Suzumiya, the brigade stands tall in the match, whether they like it or not," Excalibur said. The brigade then gestured the three letters that symbolize them in front of an upset crowd.

"SOS BRIGADE AT YOUR SERVICE!" The trio shouted to the loud boos of the audience.

Backstage Area

"What a way to start Elevation, and fans did not like the outcome of the previous match. But fear not, we will turn the reaction around as we welcome the AVW World Champion, Izuku Midoriya!" Chika Fujiwara began the interview as the aforementioned star arrived beside her, garnering a chant of his name and cheers. "So, would you like to give a review about the last match?"

"Yeah, sure…" Izuku paused and continued. "The brigade surely succeeded in their vision and won the match using questionable strategies? Not surprising. They seem to be the best group in the company, but I disagree; most of us disagree. I'm pretty sure of that."

"Okay. About the match next week for the AVW World Championship? Any messages to your opponent?" Chika followed up with another question.

"I have one, alright." Izuku then steals the microphone from Chika as he stares hard at the camera. "Tonight is your night, this week will be your week, but next week will be our week. Enjoy your celebration for now 'cause it's not gonna last for a long, long time as we will expose your vision to the world! As I, your world champion, will be your world champion for a long, long time! Kyon, you better be ready next week." Izuku addressed as he sent the mic back to Chika, who looked intimidated by the champion.

Before the segment ended, the broadcast was abruptly interrupted by distorted and static noises as the screen turned back momentarily until the screen showed a woman on her computer, typing 'How to avenge someone?'.

'Before you embark on a journey of revenge…'

The camera focuses on a green, quiet forest as a girl in her black yukata slowly walks towards a vacated and bottomless pit while holding a shovel. The girl then stabs the shovel to the ground beside the hole.

'...dig two graves.'

The sky began to diminish into grey as a loud roar of thunder stuns the girl nonchalantly. The girl looks down to the pit to reveal a screen that sends back to the woman on her computer, clicking a button to a website, leading back to the hole, where the girl's eyes began to color bright red.

The screen zooms to the eyes, showing her mental montage of different people at a quick pace, indicating that those included should be given revenge. Other clips were shown, from being passed out in pain to being struck by a chair shot to the face as the clock struck midnight. From behind, a coffin was brought by unknown men in their black attire as it was put down to the ground.

When the girl opened the casket, it was revealed that the woman from earlier was lying inside. To her surprise, that woman sat up and grabbed the girl's throat in yukata as both women sent themselves to both pits.

In slow motion, the young girl in yukata spoke slowly, uttering.

SEE YOU IN HELL.

It all ended when suddenly, the presence of the girl in yukata, staring sharply at the screen as it went back distorted and went back to its regular broadcast.

General Manager's Office

Inside the office, both Megumin and Darkness, waiting for the general manager to enter her office. After a few seconds, the door opened as the crowd went in awe after seeing Kokomi Teruhashi; also reacting in this matter were the two girls as the general manager sat on her unique-looking executive chair.

"Hi there, guys! What can I do for you two?" Kokomi asked.

"Well… uhhh… you see, we want to know what Aqua's condition, if you have one." Megumin shyly asked, addressing the elephant in the room.

"Oh, Aqua?" Kokomi chuckled for a bit but turned serious momentarily. "After the match, you know how intense the battle between the women was last week. After taking a large and high-risk move off the ladder, the worst damage came from both Mikoto Misaka and Aqua. You saw what happened; Misaka came back but for the case of Aqua…" She paused as she carefully thought of what to say next. "Well, let's say the match was too much for her to handle."

Both Megumin and Darkness gasped until Megumin spoke up. "Wait… does this mean-"

"Yeah, Aqua is still in the hospital and recovering from her injuries; although she's in a fine condition, the doctor advises that she should be resting for a few weeks. Aqua's resisting that she's okay, but the doctor's orders should be followed." Kokomi answered as the crowd groaned and booed afterward.

"Damn it!" Darkness cried, standing up from her chair and scaring Megumin while Kokomi looked interestedly. "If I had won our match, then Aqua should be safe and sound with us! If I was in the ladder match, I should… I should have kept fighting while the ladders are crushing over my body like I am the meat in the sandwich~."

The reaction from both Megumin and Kokomi changed as the crowd began to laugh.

"Uhhh…" Kokomi then spoke. "Since Aqua is still resting and both of you don't have anything to do since Kazuma is dealing with some business of his own, why don't you give yourself a front seat with the commentators tonight? And you definitely should watch the women's tag match tonight!" The crowd cooed in response, but intrigued with the offer, Megumin raised her hand. "Yes, Megumin?"

"Why should we watch it?" She asked.

"The answer should be clear when you have accepted the offer and watched the match. You'll see it for yourself." Kokomi then winks to them, to the confusion of Megumin and Darkness. "Any other questions and concerns?"

Both girls shook their heads, clearly having no other concern, as the general manager stood up to shake hands with them.

"I think that's it. Have a nice night and go watch the match later!" Kokomi said.

"Thank you so much! We'll have to go now!" Darkness replied with glee. "We'll definitely watch the match tonight!"

"Yeah! Bye!" Megumin followed.

The duo exited the office while Kokomi smiled after closing the door. Suddenly, the phone on her table rang as she answered the call.

"Hello?" She said. "Oh… hello, doctor… do I need my presence there? Oh, okay… I'll see you…" The call dropped as Kokomi put down the phone, and she cleared the stuff on her table properly.

"Interesting…" Shun reacted first.

"Megumin and Darkness will be sitting with us later tonight in the Women's Tag Match!" Corey replied.

"Not that; I meant the phone call!"

"That's none of your business, Kaido!"

"And speaking of business, while the duo of Megumin and Darkness were conversing with the general manager, the GM sent us a message that a match between Kazuma Sato and the AVW World Champion, Izuku Midoriya, has been added to the night's card!" Excalibur announced.

"Now the nights keep getting better and interesting with the matches, and let's get on with the next match!" Shun commented in excitement.

("Blood / Water" by grandson) now playing in the arena as Tanjiro Kamado and Zenitsu Agatsuma knelt on the ramp and stood up to scream into a battle cry as they punched their hands with their fists and raised them in the air to a great reaction.

"This singles match is set for one fall with a time limit of 30 minutes. Introducing first, being accompanied by Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma!" Mai Sakurajima introduced the first entrants to the match as they made their way inside the ring; both heads collided, and Tanjiro talked with encouragement to his partner.

"It seems the feud between these two teams is surprisingly continuing with them scoring nothing against The Assassins. They should call it a fair game and can go on with their life." Corey said, criticizing the current team inside.

"Well, that speaks to their tag team record but for the record for singles is a different story; with them still to determine if Zenitsu can score a victory against them, who have a record from the Winter Warfare event," Shun responded.

"Zenitsu is looking for an upset victory if he can outsmart his opponent," Excalibur said while the team looked over the entrance to anticipate the adversary.

("Karma Police" by Radiohead) suddenly played in the arena as the crowd's reaction was 50/50 over the place as Karma was playing with his toy knife and threw it from behind, which was caught by the hands of Nagisa with ease.

"And his opponent, accompanied by Nagisa Shiota, Karma Akabane!" Mai Sakurajima announced the opponent for Zenitsu, who looked prepared and sent daggers to the team, who had just entered the ring to attempt mind games with their opposition. Both Zenitsu and Tanjiro tried to confront but were stopped by the intervening referee.

"Looks like the tension getting heat up inside as our referee tries to make order before it could lead to no good," Excalibur said.

"It seems that their eyes spell bad blood between them, and I don't even like the sound of that coming from my mouth," Corey said.

When cooler heads prevailed, both Nagisa and Tanjiro went outside of the ring, as per the referee's decision as he signaled the timekeeper to ring the bell. Suddenly, Zenitsu surprises Karma with a Lou Thesz Press, grounding and pounding the redhead delinquent as Tanjiro hits the apron in excitement.

"You are right, Corey. Bad blood is what you call this feud between these two teams, and Zenitsu is taking it to the next level!" Shun exclaimed as the referee tried to intervene, but Zenitsu got up before the count while Karma sent himself to a corner.

Zenit tries to make a run to the corner, but Karma dodges as Zenitsu is in the corner; Karma looks to make a statement with a punch but stops and pats the shoulders, instantly irks Zenitsu and Tanjiro and was intervened again by the referee.

"Whoa-ho-ho-ho! Karma with the mind games, and yet it is effective at this length of the match!" Corey said, impressed by the mental skills of Karma.

Karma then takes advantage of the situation as he splashes Zenitsu to the corner, follows up with a Snapmare Takedown, and bounces to the ropes to hit a Big Boot to the sitting Zenitsu with Karma pinning Zenitsu but was only a 1.

Karma rolls Zenitsu over as the former knelt on the back of the latter, then extends both arms, executing a surfboard-like submission. The crowd was in awe at the hold, and so was Nagisa, but not for Tanjiro, who looked concerned and tried to motivate his partner.

"Impressive Surfboard-like submission, as it was like he is carrying a large rock," Excalibur said. "But can Karma hold for any longer?"

With that being said, Karma releases the hold to give himself a reprieve as Zenitsu tries to back up on his feet; as the delinquent grabs the blonde youngster with a whip to the ropes but is countered with one of his own. Karma was on fours as Zenitsu jumped above to make it to the other side. Karma leaped above Zenitsu, who went back to the other side but was met with a Back Elbow that stunned Zenitsu momentarily, added up with a Sidewalk Slam to pin Zenitsu.

Zenit kicks out. Karma instantly decides to stomp the defenseless Zenitsu, much to the boos of the crowd, until he grabs a leg from Zenitsu to turn him around into a Half Boston Crab, pressuring the back of Zenitsu, who screams in pain as Tanjiro calls to persevere as he pounds the apron to begin a rallying chant for their team.

"Half Crab in the center of the ring, and Zenitsu has no clear path to break the submission. Can he make a counter out of it despite the intact submission?" Excalibur said.

"As long as he still breathes, he has a chance, plus Tanjiro is rallying behind his buddy to keep fighting!" Shun exclaimed.

The pressure was so intense that he continued to squirm as he attempted to find the nearest rope and took time to move slowly. Zenitsu begins to crawl as both Nagisa and Karma are shocked to see that their opponent still moves. After what seems an eternity, Zenitsu successfully grabs the bottom rope, to the audience's delight, as the referee begins the count with Karma letting go before the 5 count. Then, the crowd starts to clap and chant the name of Zenit.

"How this can be? I thought it would be over with the pressure, but amazingly the match continues." Corey was impressed by the resilience of the blonde warrior.

Karma tries to control his emotions, then he sees Zenitsu in the corner, holding on to the ropes to keep his balance. Karma then runs towards Zenitsu to hit a Spear in the corner and then continues the assault with a few punches to the face as the referee begins the count to stop the attack.

When the count hits 4, Karma breaks the onslaught as he decides to pick up Zenitsu and send him to the top turnbuckle carefully. As Karma attempts to do something, Zenitsu surprises Karma when the former hangs against the ropes to execute a Cross Armbreaker.

"Oh, no! Juji Gatame against the ropes, but Zenitsu has only five seconds to hang on to the hold!" Excalibur exclaimed. The referee is about to hit 5, but Zenitsu releases the hold and lands carefully on the apron as the crowd begins to heavily support Zenit.

"I don't know how he has the energy to do that, but his energy might have been drained at this point, and this might be over in just a few minutes!" Corey replied.

Zenit stands up on the apron as Karma tries to attack him but is abruptly stopped by a punch, stunning the redhead. Zenit climbs up slowly to the top and aims at Karma to hit a Tornado DDT, spiking the head of Karma as both men are lying down on the canvas to the cheers of the crowd. Nagisa is now concerned over his partner, but Tanjiro reacted otherwise.

"Tornado DDT by Zenitsu! The momentum may have stopped in Karma's favor. But can he capitalize?" Excalibur said.

"Zenit must have to stand first, so he can begin his momentum and the wrath that this team initially yearned for in the first place!" Shun exclaimed.

The crowd is currently behind the good guy, Zenitsu, who stood up first before he could uncork a big right hand to Karma, who staggers to his feet. Zenit runs to the ropes behind him and scores a leaping Forearm Shot, sending Karma down to the canvas, garnering a loud reaction from the audience.

"Boston is all fired up, much more for Zenitsu to gain momentum as he is taking a good control of Karma, which surprises Nagisa from the outside!" Shun exclaimed.

Zenit picks up Karma by the hair and whips the latter to the corner, where he rolls the dice and runs towards the corner, but Karma dodges, which Zenitsu luckily halted. When he turns around, he is caught by a kick to the abdomen by Karma, who lifts him up in a Powerbomb position, but Zenitsu squirms to escape to no avail as he is slammed to the canvas with the Powerbomb, with Karma stacking Zenitsu into a pin.

"A Powerbomb isn't enough for Karma to gain victory! It seems to me that Karma begins to show signs of frustration!" Excalibur observed the redhead's expression, who smirked, taunted the crowd, and booed him.

"Oh, no! Zenit might be on the receiving end of whatever Karma is executing here!" Corey said.

Karma grabs both legs of Zenitsu, who surprises him with a Small Package Pin.

Zenit then leaps off the top to hit a Diving Headbutt on Karma as Zenitsu takes the pin.

Suddenly, the referee got pulled by Nagisa on the outside, who whistled innocently, and the referee began to scold him, to the adverse reaction.

"Smart decision on the part of Nagisa, pretending that he did not pull the leg of the referee!" Corey said but stopped when Tanjiro leaped to Nagisa, who was caught by surprise; the crowd began to cheer again. "Oh! Tanjiro doesn't even like the outcome to be like this, and his rage is clearly visible on his face!"

"It is for Nagisa and Karma to give them a payback for their actions since way back from Winter Warfare!" Shun exclaimed as Tanjiro continued to assault while the referee attempted to restore order but failed miserably when Tanjiro sent Nagisa to the barricade, now landing in the crowded area of the audience. Tanjiro jumps from the barricade to Nagisa, who goes down again and tries to retreat from the loose cannon.

While Zenitsu watches the whole situation, unknowingly, Karma surprises Zenitsu with a Schoolboy pin, in which the referee enters back quickly to count.

The bell rang as the crowd booed heavily when Karma's theme played in the background. Karma stood up quickly to raise his arm with the referee's guidance as Zenitsu attempted to attack him, but Karma instantly reacted, rolling outside of the ring, celebrating his victory.

"Here is your winner, Karma Akabane!" Mai Sakurajima announced the winning individual, only for the boos to get louder as Zenitsu was instantly upset at the match's outcome.

"Provided by an unintentional distraction from the outside, Karma outsmarts Zenitsu to gain another victory for the team!" Excalibur exclaimed.

"With their strategy and Zenitsu's lack of awareness, this somehow turned the tables around, and Zenitsu could not take the loss very well!" Corey responded.

"That's because Tanjiro attacked Nagisa for doing such a bad thing!" Shun replied.

"And that's what caused them; if it wasn't for the doing of Tanjiro, Zenitsu might have shocked the world here!"

"Oh, please, cut your alibis! This is bullcrap!"

"Nevertheless, it all happened, and Karma Akabane storms out alone with Nagisa, nowhere to be seen, and so is Tanjiro!" Excalibur said. "Right now, what's next for Zenitsu and Tanjiro after taking a few losses?"

Backstage Area

Somewhere along the area, Kaname Chidori was sitting on one of the backstage boxes, where she was currently talking on the phone with someone.

"Hey, Tessa, I just want to say thank you so much that I became friends with you… Oh, that's silly. Hey, you know what? Let me send you a gift of gratitude… I just want to take you on a trip here to Boston; it's a great city…" Kaname said as the cheers went up after mentioning the city, but her face turned sour. "…well, if you have some free time, sure; in fact, I can take you to other cities… Okay, I'll see you soon! Bye!"

Kaname turned off the device as she put the phone in her pocket. When she stood up, she was met by the newly-arrived Mikoto Misaka, who stared at her with a stern look. Kaname was baffled at the face of the esper.

"What's with the look?" Kaname asked.

"What? Stop with the lies! Don't act like you have forgotten about it!" Mikoto reacted violently as she went near her face to spit more venom on her. "I always remember."

"You mean I dropped your head on the ladder with a Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex? As much as it hurts to remember for you, I just want to forget it all." Kaname replied calmly.

"And you didn't even apologize for it! You almost cost me the opportunity for the Women's Championship!" Mikoto continued her rant.

"Then I'm sorry, alright?! Is that what you want in the first place? Then you should have said that before throwing a tantrum on me!" Kaname answered, tapping her finger to the shoulder of the unconvinced Mikoto.

"Oh, if you're sorry, let's put your stability and composure to the test in a match against me next week! And by the way, I'm not here just to hear your apology; I am here to show you that you are hiding from your fragile self, and by next week, you are exposed." Mikoto sends a threat over to Kaname, whose stare becomes stern as Mikoto.

"I accept." Kaname gave Mikoto one last look over her. "But there's one thing that I will remember… and that is I'm not really sorry for what I did to you last week, and I am definitely not sorry when I kick your sorry-ass next week!" She spoke with malice as their gazes turned into a fiery glare. Mikoto hummed and walked out of Kaname, who smirked at what had just transpired.

"Looks like the heat gets more intense with that confrontation from Kaname Chidori and Mikoto Misaka!" Shun exclaimed.

"We should get a confirmation for this match to be official for next week's first-ever TV Special!" Corey added.

"More implications will be settled here tonight for next week's February's Avalanche Slam, which will be held next week at Washington D.C.!" Excalibur said. "And as of now, we are five sitting on the commentary desk, and let's greet our commentary crew for the next match, Darkness, and Megumin! Hey there, you two! How are you guys doing?"

"Hi, everyone! It feels odd and refreshing that we're sitting with you, guys." Megumin said, adjusting the microphone on her headset.

"Is it because of Kazuma not being with you?" Shun assumed.

"Probably? I think he's preparing for his match with his opponent next week. Am I right, Darkness?" Megumin said but did not catch any response from Darkness, who looked in a trance, but that was not the case. "Are you alright?"

"Maybe? I don't know! With Kazuma being busy, I just can't think straight about how I missed his tirade over me! Without any of that, I just feel lost and unmotivated." Darkness answered with sadness, hugging herself, trying to fight any soreness that is lacking criticism from one fellow adventurer. "Come on, guys. Hit me with your best shot!"

Everyone except Megumin glanced over Darkness, bewildered at her current needs.

"Uh, can we just go ahead with the entrances?" Corey broke the ice.

("Wild Thing" by X) was played in the background as the girls entered through the crowd, who cheered them on. Walking downstairs, they were with different hands from the audience, but no contact occurred, but the group began singing their theme in unison.

"This women's tag team match is scheduled for one fall, with a time limit of 30 minutes. Introducing first, from the island of Honno City, Ryuko Matoi and Satsuki Kiryuuin – Kill la Familia!" Mai introduced the sisters, who jumped off the barricade simultaneously and rolled inside the ring to a great ovation.

"Kill la Familia with a mood to fight here tonight in Elevation! After all, neither did compete last week at the ladder match!" Excalibur said.

"They looked kinda strong to me," Megumin said, observing them from the distance as the sisters interacted with the fans from the turnbuckles they stood in. "But Darkness can take them down, especially that taller one there, am I right?"

Darkness sniffed in elation. "If she can take me down, she can take me down with me. I wanna get destroyed with her."

"..."

("Imaginary" by Evanescence) played next as the lights shut off monetarily until a spotlight sight a silhouette of women in the middle of the ramp. One was standing, and the other was kneeling as the light went back to reveal the opponents of Kill la Familia, and they began walking towards the ramp.

"And their opponents from the IS Academy, born from different countries, the team of Cecilia Alcott and Houki Shinonono – Team Stratos!" Mai then introduces while the said team climbs to the top to brag about their team, gaining boos from the crowd.

"Just remember that these women simply showed up from backstage after disrupting the interview of Kill la Familia last week, and tonight, they will season up the division by bringing the international flavor to everyone around!" Corey stated their reason for presence.

"And I'm not sure if it's the wisest decision to ruin them, especially they are facing a team like the Kill la Familia," Shun said.

"If it's us, we should have done the same things. Even Darkness knows it." Megumin added.

"I wish that was us!" Darkness cried.

"We are set for more tag team action here tonight at Elevation! We're seeing that Ryuko from Familia while Team Stratos' Houki Shinonono in the ring pretty much means they will be starting the match-up!" Excalibur observed as the referee signaled for the timekeeper to ring the bell and chimed subsequently.

The match began with a tie-up that ended up short when Houki overpowered Ryuko as she shoved her to the canvas but came up quickly. The tie-up occurred again as Ryuko promptly transitioned to a Waistlock, where Houki attempted to attack from behind with her elbow, but Ryuko was one step ahead as she sent Houki to an isolated corner, where the referee warned Ryuko, who raised her hands as she lets go of the waist of Houki then decides to shove the taller woman to an outburst of rage.

"Well, look at Ryuko, she's trying to enrage the Stratos' giant, but the referee wouldn't have it," Shun said.

When tension drops down, they begin circling around the ring as they lock up once again Houki prevails with an Arm Wringer as Ryuko counters with one of her own and sweeps the leg of Houki for the first pin attempt but quickly kicks out at 1. While remaining down, Houki stays on the canvas as Ryuko leaps over her and bounces to the other side. Houki stands up and sends Ryuko for a ride with a Back Body Drop, crashing the back of Ryuko to the canvas.

"Oh, my goodness! What a backdrop! The hang time Ryuko got in the air is unbelievable!" Corey exclaimed while Houki pulled Ryuko to their corner and tagged Cecilia in. "You could not get up easily from that height!"

"Here's the tag to Cecilia Alcott. So far, it's been in favor of Team Stratos, and they are crashing the ribs of Ryuko on their corner!" Excalibur added as they saw both Stratos members stomping Ryuko into their corner but were reprimanded by the referee.

"If I was in her shoes, I'd like to be the stomping grounds!" Darkness cried once more.

"The referee will stop them from stomping you, Darkness," Shun replied.

"Oh… they can stomp me before the referee can stop them!"

In the ring, Cecilia picks up and whips Ryuko to an empty corner as Cecilia hits a Corner Clothesline and then replicates the shove that Ryuko used to mock her or the opponents, to the chagrin of the audience.

"Ryuko has been given a taste of their own medicine here, and surely they will backfire at any point," Corey said. Satsuki scowls toward Cecilia, who taunts her more, and Satsuki has nothing for a comeback due to the rules of the ring.

"Oh, talking about pride, and she embodies that!" Shun complained.

"I agree with that! She is mean and arrogant, just like Kazuma to me and others!" Megumin said.

"Speaking of Kazuma, still to come, the AVW World Champion Izuku Midoriya will take on Kazuma Sato. Will you guys watch on your buddy tonight, Kazuma?"

"Well, yes and no," Megumin answered. "I could not give you the reason that easily."

Cecilia then whips Ryuko again to the other empty corner, hits another Clothesline, and tags Houki in. Houki runs towards Ryuko to the junction with a Big Boot, then picks her up in a Fireman's Carry position and hits a Rolling Senton as she pins Ryuko.

Ryuko got her shoulder up as Houki held her in a Rear Chin Lock, grounded in the ring, while Satsuki looked over to the crowd as they rallied for Ryuko to get up. After almost a minute, Ryuko slowly squirms off the hold and moves towards the nearest rope despite the hold still intact.

"Ryuko is surprisingly conscious after the assault given to her by Team Stratos," Corey said.

"Her heart and the support of her sister as a factor shows that their team is undeniably strong, and this situation shows why," Shun replied.

After a grueling minute, Ryuko finally breaks the hold by her foot, extending over towards the bottom rope as the referee reprimands Houki to let go, which she obliged. Houki then picks Ryuko up and tosses her from behind with a Fallaway Slam before she tags Cecilia, climbing up to the top rope to leap to Ryuko, who manages to dodge as the crowd begins to wake up when Cecilia lands on her midsection. Both women stood up at the same time as Ryuko decapitated Cecilia with a stiff Lariat, sending both down on the canvas again.

"What a lariat by Ryuko, and this could be the opening that the Familia needed," Excalibur said. Ryuko begins to crawl towards their corner over Satsuki. As soon as Ryuko was nearby, Houki made a visit to their corner when she pulled the leg of Satsuki off the apron to attack her but ultimately failed when Satsuki fired a right hand at Houki and sent her over the barricade.

"Smart move by Kiryuin right there, taking out the other partner of Cecilia, but Ryuko is still the legal competitor from their side!" Shun exclaimed.

Inside, Cecilia then stands up and stomps Ryuko a few times until Satsuki climbs back up, glaring menacingly at Cecilia, who steps back and looks back at Ryuko, who catches her with a Double Foot Stomp, causing them to go down again as the crowd begins to chant the name of Satsuki.

"Wow! That was devastating! If she can stomp that hard, then why they don't try it on me?" Darkness acted emotionally but received no response from everyone.

"Now it's the time for some hot tag to Satsuki, and there she comes! Cecilia Alcott is in a world of trouble!" Excalibur said as Ryuko finally tags Satsuki, who enters the ring.

Cecilia looked in fear as Satsuki sauntered towards her and looked at her corner, but there were no signs of her partner. When Cecilia looks back, she is met by Satsuki's fists, then fires two more punches square in the face. Satsuki kicks Cecilia's gut and then whips her to the ropes to execute a Spinning Heel Kick to a wild reaction from the fans.

"Spinning Heel Kick by Satsuki and the Team Stratos should have regretted the decision of ruining the interview in the first place!" Corey exclaimed.

Satsuki picked Cecilia up and held her high above to hit a Powerbomb, and another, and a third bomb to stack Cecilia for a pin attempt.

Houki, from out of nowhere, breaks up the count by clubbing the back of Satsuki, then concentrates on her as she pummels Satsuki with punches.

"What a save by Houki, in time, before the three!" Corey exclaimed.

"But they're just prolonging the inevitable," Shun replied.

Ryuko joins the fray when she attacks Houki from behind as both sisters gang up on Houki with punches. After that, they both whipped Houki to the ropes to hit a Double Big Boot to the face as Ryuko sent her to the outside with a Clothesline. Ryuko then climbs up to the top turnbuckle and dives off to the outside onto Houki with a Somersault Dive, causing the crowd to cheer over the Familia.

"Somersault to the outside; down goes both Ryuko and Houki!" Excalibur cried. "Satsuki surely is loving the environment so far."

"But look behind! Look behind!" Megumin shouted.

Satsuki did not hear the call by Megumin as she got hit by a knee Cecilia on her back and rolled her backward with an O'Connor Roll.

Ryuko kicks out of the move, much to the chagrin and complaint of Cecilia to the referee, who swore that he only counted two.

"Now we're heading to the emotional territory, where her pent-up emotions start to get on the nerves of everyone involved! And hoping to win, Cecilia has to hit the goal, in the form of Satsuki." Corey said.

While waiting for her opponent to get up, Cecilia impatiently waited for Satsuki to return to her feet. When the moment happens, Cecilia makes a run to Satsuki, who manages to catch her and turns her around in an Electric Chair position as she tags Ryuko, who climbs up to the top turnbuckle and lays Cecilia off with a Single Leg Dropkick, followed by an Electric Chair Drop by Satsuki.

"Kill la Kill (Single Leg Drop Kick/Electric Chair Drop) by both Satsuki and Ryuko! Ryuko goes for the cover and hooks the leg!" Excalibur exclaimed.

The bell rang in succession as the crowd cheered for the winners of the match while their theme played in the background.

"Here are your winners, Satsuki Kiryuuin and Ryuko Matoi – Kill la Familia!" Mai Sakurajima announced the match victors as both arms were raised by the referee to celebrate another victory.

"What a brutal finishing tag team move by both of them! That took Cecilia out for good!" Corey exclaimed.

"So far, Kill la Familia currently has a strong run in AVW in the women's tag team division, and they are on a hot streak," Excalibur said.

"What do you think, Megumin and Darkness? Do you like the m—" Shun asked the guest commentators, but he saw nothing as they vanished in their spot. "Where are they?"

While the victors were celebrating, all of a sudden, both Megumin and Darkness enter the ring with chairs in their hands as they smack the backs of Kill la Familia with the steel hardware, sending them kneeling, and both adventurers hit another on their back, sending them rolling outside. The crowd began to boo Megumin and Darkness for their actions.

"They just attacked Ryuko and Satsuki from behind with those chairs!" Excalibur cried.

"I didn't even know that they were going to do that! And they can just spoil the celebration just like that!" Corey answered.

Afterward, Megumin and Darkness met Team Stratos, who applauded them, and the teams embraced each other as the crowd's boos went louder than earlier.

"What the hell am I seeing here?! Are they allies?!" Shun said in disbelief. "I cannot believe this is happening!"

"YOU SOLD OUT! YOU SOLD OUT!" The crowd showed their displeasure by chanting, targeting both Darkness and Megumin.

"Not gonna lie, I did not expect this to turn out like that! It is ingenious! It was all part of the master plan by them!" Corey added.

After the embrace ended, both Cecilia and Houki told the adventurers to give them the used chairs, possibly to add insult to injury to the hurt Familia. Both Megumin and Darkness nodded as they lent the chairs to them as Team Stratos held the chairs; however, the adventurers did not let go of the chairs as Team Stratos began to complain as they surprised them when they shoved the chairs to their guts and whacks the Team Stratos, with the chairs on their backs, courtesy of Megumin and Darkness.

"What the hell?" Corey reacted in surprise.

"Looks like both Megumin and Darkness disagree to be allied with Team Stratos, or in this case, they don't have any allies, just them both!" Shun exclaimed.

"They have assaulted both Kill la Familia then Team Stratos!" Excalibur paused as two individuals from the crowd showed up. As both Sistine Fibel and Rumia Tingel entered the ring and attacked Megumin and Darkness from behind to a wild pop. "Oh, my God! The Mage Sisters are here! They're here and attacking Megumin and Darkness! And look outside the ring, Team Stratos and Kill la Familia are fighting too! The chaos escalated so quick that I don't even know who will I focus on at first!"

"My mind exploded, and everyone is attacking one another! Can the security and the refs can stop the madness?!" Corey exclaimed.

As the madness continued, the crowd continuously chanted, "This is Awesome!" until the referee, and some security staff made their way in and out of the ring to halt the attacks, much to the fans' jeers. But suddenly, a coughing sound stopped them from doing anything as the General Manager Kokomi Teruhashi appeared on the ramp.

"O-Oh! It's Teruhashi!" Shun cried.

"It's Miss Teruhashi, Kaido! And what is she doing here now? I'm hoping to ease the tension between the four teams!" Corey replied.

"Excuse me, everyone! Sorry for interrupting the melee, but what has transpired in the last few minutes justifies this announcement that I will bring! At Tag Team Turbulence, February 22, there will be a 4-way match between Kill la Familia, Darkness and Megumin, Team Stratos, and The Mage Sisters! This match will be for the AVW Women's World Tag Team Championship!" GM Teruhashi announced as the crowd burst into excitement when they heard the news. "To everyone involved, may the best team win! Good luck!" She then walked back to the entrance as every woman in the ring was satisfied and excited about that announcement.

"Wow! Unbelievable news for these four teams! Their hatred for one another will finally be settled at Tag Team Turbulence TV Special in three weeks!" Excalibur exclaimed.

"Thank goodness for her presence; the dust has been settled! These four teams definitely have the hunger to become the top team of their division!" Shun added.

"In three weeks, we're expecting a new tag team champions in the women's division, but for now, let their cooler heads prevail." Corey also commented. "They're going to need it!"

The camera then panned over to the backstage, where the World Champion, Izuku Midoriya, was walking through the area, preparing for his match tonight.

"Coming up next is our World Champion, Izuku Midoriya, competing against Kazuma Sato! We will be back right after this message." Excalibur said.

The camera went back on as a montage of an individual, sauntering in a long path, looking up above, in a reverie.

"I failed."

A moment was captured when that individual got knocked out by the Superkick from Izuku Midoriya.

"I recalibrate."

The clip then plays when he was pinned by the now AVW World Champion.

"I regain."

Then the clip showed him standing up from the floor after the match, watching the celebration in front of him; behind him was a montage of the individual training and exercising.

The camera transitions to the individual sitting on an empty white stair with his hands crossed while looking in front.

"I am ready, and I am rejuvenated. I will return."

THE RETURN OF SHINJI IKARI

COMING SOON

("When I Grow Up" by Mayday Parade) played in the arena as the crowd began to boo the sole adventurer, who was making taunts to the sides while making his way to the ring.

"This is a singles match scheduled for one fall, with a time limit of 30 minutes. Introducing first, from the Kingdom of Belzerg, Kazuma Sato!" Mai Sakurajima announced the first entrant of the match, climbing up to the top to taunt the jeering crowd.

"He feels like he is on the top of the world after tossing out Rimuru Tempest in fashion last week. Should he be on the top again this week against his opponent?" Excalibur said.

"There is a single answer, and it is a yes. He had a strong showing at Winter Warfare, where he almost beat Karma Akabane. From that experience, he should be at the top and screaming victory at his lungs." Corey replied.

("Sore Winner" by There For Tomorrow) was played in the arena to a loud reaction as the World Champion appeared at the entranceway, raising up his title in the air. Then proceeds to the bottom rope at a hasty pace as he goes inside and climbs up to the top to raise the belt again.

"But you can never argue with what our champion has gone through that night," Shun said.

"As we said earlier, implications will be displayed before next week's February's Avalanche Slam matches. With Kazuma Sato taking on Rimuru Tempest, Izuku Midoriya's AVW World Championship will be on the line against SOS Brigade's Kyon." Excalibur said.

With that, Izuku hands out the belt to the referee; while handing it out, Kazuma instantly moves to the champion as he strikes Izuku with shots to the body, to the chagrin of the crowd.

"And look how the crowd's mood has changed when Kazuma strikes first. It is a wise move to surprise your opponent." Corey said. The referee saw the whole incident as he tried to control the situation.

"The referee is trying to control the match, even though it has not started yet," Excalibur said. After separating the two competitors, the referee then asks Izuku if he can continue, to which he responds with a nod.

"Izuku says yes!" Shun exclaimed. The referee then signals the timekeeper to ring the bell as Kazuma goes back at Izuku again to deck the champion with a right hand, then whips Izuku to the other corner to follow him and strikes with a Corner Forearm Shot.

Kazuma then sends Izuku to the middle when he executes a Snapmare Takeover as he bounces to deliver a Shoot Kick to the champion's chest. Kazuma then pins Izuku but is only counted two by the referee.

"A flurry of offense won't be enough for Kazuma to take a victory for tonight. And now, he looks to crush the champion's chest with those stomps." Excalibur said. Kazuma continues to dominate with continuous stomps to the defenseless Izuku as the stomp sends Izuku to the bottom rope.

When Kazuma surveys the situation, he thinks of something and grabs both legs of Izuku, mocks the crowd, who react negatively to the ruling Kazuma, and catapults Izuku to the bottom rope, causing Izuku to cough violently after hitting his throat.

"Oh, no! His throat got hit by the ropes, and I don't like seeing it!" Shun exclaimed.

"Kazuma showing his ring IQ, and if you ask me, this could be a career-changing for the adventurer! To beat the World Champion? I would've imagined it from the get-go!" Corey added. Kazuma then pins the champion for the second time.

Izuku kicks out, and the crowd starts to chant the champion's name.

"Izuku remains alive after crashing his throat above the bottom rope. And Kazuma applies the pressure on his torso with a Sleeper Hold." Excalibur said. Kazuma tightly applies the Sleeper Hold onto the body of Izuku as the crowd begins to support the champion.

"Methodical pace, this is where Kazuma stands out, grounding the champion and soon be wearying Izuki is a smart strategy on his part," Corey said.

When the chanting began, signs of life were seen from Izuku, who started to squirm out of his way from the pressure. After a few excruciating seconds, Izuku slowly began to stand up, and with a state of shock, Kazuma did not see the Elbow Shots by Izuku as the adventurer was stunned momentarily. Izuku then bounces to the ropes, but Kazuma fights back with a Dropkick.

"What a beautiful dropkick by Kazuma; it sends Izuku back down again to the canvas!" Excalibur exclaimed.

"Kazuma had ruined the hopes of Izuku's comeback with precision feet," Corey said. Kazuma then picks up Izuku and hits a Scoop Slam to the center of the ring.

Kazuma decides to go airborne and slowly climbs up to the turnbuckle to hit a target on the back of Izuku. However, he took a long time by cranking his face after the elbows caught him in the front as Izuku had energy left to stop Kazuma by lying on the ropes, causing Kazuma to land on his nether region.

"Oh! Izuku still has enough energy, and he took that much to bother the ropes!" Shun exclaimed.

"And this helps the world champion take a breather while Kazuma is in pain underneath," Excalibur said.

Izuku then climbs up to the top, where Kazuma is currently stuck, as he flushes him with a few punches until he looks around and the crowd begins to cheer for the champion. Izuku explodes with a Hurricanrana, crashing both from the top to the ring floor, gaining cheers from the audience.

"Hurricanrana by the World Champion, and the field has been reset with both men crashing off the top turnbuckle!" Excalibur exclaimed.

Soon after, both men were back off their feet, and both of them exchange uppercuts and chops until Izuku dominates the give-and-take offense as he whips Kazuma, who counters back with his own and sends the champion to the ropes to capture the adventurers in a Thesz Press to continue his offense.

"And Izuku with a fiery comeback to Kazuma, firing all cylinders with his fists," Excalibur said. Izuku stood up and bounced to nail a Leaping Clothesline.

Kazuma then smartly rolls out of the ring to the chorus of boos from the crowd. Izuku quickly thinks of something as he bounces to the different ropes to dive to the outside with a Tope con Hilo, crushing Kazuma on the floor to a positive reception.

"My goodness! What agility and speed by our champion!" Shun exclaimed.

"You could not forget how resilient and athletic Izuku is, and with those moves like that, you couldn't watch him inside the ring!" Corey added.

Izuku picks up Kazuma and sends him back to the ring as the former climbs to the apron. Izuku then jumps off the top rope when Kazuma stands up as he nails a Springboard Clothesline and covers Kazuma.

Kazuma kicks out before the three count as Izuku takes a quick respite while thinking of his next move.

"A few high dives aren't enough to put down Kazuma Sato, and Izuku might be drawing a plan mid-match for the first time!" Corey said.

After a few seconds, Izuku began picking up Kazuma, who was playing possum at this time; he caught Izuku off-guard with an Adventure Crusher (Cutter), causing the crowd to stand off their chairs.

"A Cutter from out of nowhere! Kazuma is playing dead all this time, and he is looking to put the finishing touches here!" Excalibur exclaimed as they saw Kazuma climbing up to the top turnbuckle. Then the adventurer starts to taunt the crowd again.

("Down in Ashes" by Awake) was played suddenly as the crowd began to cheer when Rimuru Tempest walked in the entranceway, gesturing to Kazuma, who became infuriated at the blue-haired individual.

"It's Rimuru Tempest, and he is staring down over his opponent for next week!" Shun cried.

"Now, it's not the time for this! He is distracting Kazuma and is on the verge of winning the match!" Corey complained.

Kazuma almost forgot his task when he saw Izuku standing up and leaping off the top, but he got knocked off by a Superkick from Izuku, caught by surprise.

"SUPERKICK BY IZUKU! RIGHT ON HIS MUSH!" Excalibur shouted.

"That will keep him out for tonight!" Shun added.

"And Izuku takes advantage of the situation right now and is on the top!" Corey said as Izuku successfully climbed up to the top and hit the 450 Splash to Kazuma as he pinned the knocked down Kazuma.

The bell rang in succession as Izuku stood up while clutching his stomach after a grueling match with the cheers roaring throughout the place.

"Here is your winner, the AVW World Champion, Izuku Midoriya!" Mai Sakurajima announced loudly as the referee raised the arm of the victor.

"After causing a distraction, Izuku Midoriya gets a victory ahead of his match for next week. But for real, I almost got surprised when Kazuma took himself to the top." Excalibur said.

"Without the distraction from Rimuru outside, Kazuma might have pinned the champion in the center of the ring!" Corey said.

"But pay no mind about the circumstances; it was a hell of an effort for Kazuma Sato. Pulling out any tricks to his book, but that wasn't enough for him to take the champion down." Shun added.

Rimuru then decides to enter the ring by climbing on the top while Izuku watches from a corner; as soon as Kazuma is back on his feet, Rimuru hits the Chaos Tempester (Eclipse) on Kazuma, who got sent outside by the impact of the move.

"Oh, my goodness! That Corkscrew Stunner off the top just got Kazuma bounced off the ring!" Excalibur exclaimed.

"Just enough of this! There's a week left for your match to prepare!" Corey complained.

After seeing Kazuma fleeing off, Kyon suddenly slides underneath and attacks Rimuru from behind with a clothesline as the giant tosses the smaller Rimuru to the outside. While Izuku charges over Kyon to take offense, somehow Kyon fights him off and shoves him back but is caught by the Chokeslam of Kyon, sending Izuku down to an enormous boost from the crowd while Haruhi Suzumiya arrives after to clap for the effort of her colleague.

"Oh, come on! Now they just showed up after a grueling match, and they just playing around in the ring!" Shun exclaimed.

"There is nothing you can do about it, Kaido. The SOS Brigade just sends a message towards the World Champion." Corey replied.

Then, Haruhi picks up a microphone from the timekeeper. As she taps the microphone to check if it's working until she enters the ring.

"Ladies and gentlemen, you are looking at your new World Champion, SOS Brigade's own – Kyon!" Haruhi spoke, garnering more boos in the arena. Then she looked at him and nodded. "Put him down again!"

Kyon obliged and choked down Izuku, slamming Izuku again on the canvas with a second Chokeslam, gaining more boos and jeers.

"Another Chokeslam from Kyon, and this time, it's an impactful and with authority!" Excalibur exclaimed. Haruhi commands Kyon to stomp on the prone chest of Izuku to louder boos while Haruhi raises Kyon's arm like they have won the match. "Will this be the scene for next week? As Kyon takes on Izuku Midoriya for the AVW World Championship next week at February's Avalanche Slam!"

Their theme played in the background as the camera only pans to the defeated Izuku and the triumphant SOS Brigade.

Backstage Area

"We're back here at Elevation, and right now, please welcome, 'The Shield Hero' Naofumi Iwatani!" Visha, the interviewer, introduced the tall individual beside her, who seemed determined. "So, your match is up next against The Knights of The Monarchy and-"

Suddenly, Naofumi pulls the microphone from Visha with surprise.

"Yes, I have a match with The Bootlickers of The Bitch!" Naofumi paused when he heard the cheers from the audience inside the arena. "That is perfectly inappropriate, but it is befitting for what she is trying to accomplish here. And if I recall correctly if I beat those buffoons tonight, it will be all over, and I will be moving on from all of this, setting my sights on a new quest."

"And… if you lose?" Visha shyly asked as Naofumi's lip curled, unsure how to react to the question.

"If I lose, there will be more hell to pay for them, and they should have wished that they lose in the first place. So, I suggest that they back off, or things will escalate, and you can go nowhere but to the Shield Hero." Naofumi added as the crowd continued to cheer over him.

("RISE" by MADKID) played in the background as Naofumi gave the microphone back to Visha. The former entered the entranceway, where he met with the excited fans as he knelt down and stood up to raise his shield to produce the fireworks beside him.

"The following match is a 2-on-1 Handicap Match, and it is set for one fall with a time limit of 30 minutes. Introducing first, from the country of Melromarc, 'The Shield Hero' Naofumi Iwatani!" Mai Sakurajima announced the first entrant of the match while Naofumi shared his empty fists with the nearest fans.

"With confidence in his eyes and from the interview, Naofumi Iwatani looks to finish the business with his long-time rival, Queen Malty Melromarc!" Excalibur said.

"It will be a big relief for the Shield Hero, but for him to defeat two opponents will not be easy as it sounds. That should have diminished his confidence." Corey replied.

"Even though he is serious about stopping at whatever The Monarchy is planning for here at AVW," Shun said as Naofumi waited for his opponents to come.

("Promenade" by Jim Johnston) was played in the arena as the crowd booed from the precious entrance of the upcoming throne of Queen Malty Melromarc. From the entrance with his two knights carrying the throne across the ring that was covered with red carpet.

"And his opponents, being accompanied by Queen Malty Melromarc, The Knights of the Monarchy!" Mai Sakurajima then announced the masked entrants as the knights carefully dropped the throne and Malty on the floor with the masked duo entering the ring, extending their arms while their leader clapped for them.

"The Knights are looking to take out Naofumi, or The Shield Hero himself will end this never-ending saga between them," Excalibur said.

"It's a given that these two have pressure on beating a solo opponent, but their advantage is clearly evident. But with their opponent, a guy who competes in a match just changes the state." Corey replied.

"Simply with his brash wrestling style, I think it's safe to say he has the upper hand with these minions, and an easy victory is on its way for Naofumi," Shun added.

The referee signals to ring the bell when one of the knights goes to the apron, but it turns out it was a setup as both knights surprise Naofumi with a two-on-one assault in the corner, sending the crowd into boos.

"Look at them going, utilizing any advantageous tactics for The Monarchy, and they are ganging up on The Shield Hero!" Shun exclaimed. The masked duo continues to stomp and Naofumi until the referee pulls each one to warn them.

The team did not listen to the referee as one of them went back to Naofumi's corner, who fought back to a cheering ovation as he struck at one of the knights with a few punches until the other knight from behind took a cheap shot at the back of Naofumi.

"The knights got him grounded, and they are taking advantage of the count from the referee!" Excalibur said. The knight decides to grab his arms as he whips Naofumi to the ropes, but the hero emerges with a surprise Double Clothesline to send the knights down.

"Whoa! Double down with a wide clothesline to the knights!" Corey exclaimed. They watched as Naofumi looked at the knights on different corners as he took his time to hit them with Splashes to the corner, with one launched by Naofumi with a Back Body Drop while the other sent to the knee of the Shield Hero with a Side Slam Backbreaker. Naofumi then proceeds to cover the knight.

The knight kicks out as Naofumi stands and looks outside at Malty, who scowls at her, talking trash to the hero. When he turned around, the knight inside took advantage with an eye poke, followed by a Snap DDT, spiking the head of Naofumi.

"Oh! Right on his head, it seems the number advantage is being shown for The Monarchy." Shun said. The knight then tags his partner as they lift Naofumi up, hitting him with a Double Vertical Suplex as one of them covers Naofumi.

Naofumi kicks out as the crowd cheered for their hero and showed their support by chanting his nickname.

"Shield Hero is their chant, but for now, I think Naofumi needs his shield at this point, and that shield is his lonely fists," Corey said as the legal knight put Naofumi in a Rear Chin Lock, grounding the hero down while the pronounced queen watches from the outside of the ring.

"Here's Naofumi struggling in the hold, and how can he fight off the pressure?" Excalibur asked.

Naofumi shows signs of action when he smashes the face of the knight a few times until the latter releases the hold to check over his cheek and gets caught by Naofumi's Belly-to-Back Suplex as both are down. The crowd begins to rally behind Naofumi, who struggles to find his mark, and so is the knight.

"Back Suplex by Naofumi to recover in a measly small amount of time with no one to tag! The end could be near for the Shield Hero when the other knight tags in!" Corey exclaimed.

After a short respite, the knight tags the other as it goes inside the ring. At the same time, Naofumi only stands up until the masked competitor takes advantage to stomp Naofumi many times as he whips the hero to the ropes. Still, Naofumi ducks the upcoming attack as he goes to the other side to hit a Running Crossbody; then Naofumi sees the other knight coming to him and puts him down from the top with a Military Press Slam, crashing the knight to his partner to a positive reaction.

"He carried that knight easily and took him on a ride with the other!" Shun said. "And here he is, the Shield Hero is fired up by the crowd's reaction!"

Naofumi raises his hands and enthusiastically stomps the ring as he carries the legal knight on his shoulders to roll him with a Rolling Senton as he covers the knight in a Back Press.

The other knight interrupts the predicament when he stomps Naofumi on his face.

"Unfortunately, Naofumi could not get the victory while the other knight wouldn't go down," Shun said. The crowd continues to boo as the knights begin working on Naofumi once again with the continuous stomps to the corner while the referee attempts to stop the numbers game to no avail.

Naofumi was then sent to the other corner with a Double Team Irish Whip as one of the knights ran towards Naofumi, who surprised the knight and launched him to the outside, landing on the apron face-first, and this made Malty stand on her throne to check on him while the other followed the same action of his teammate, but Naofumi sidesteps and hits the turnbuckle instead. When the knights turned, he was met by the Shield Hero's Spinebuster to a wild cheer from the audience.

"Spinebuster rocks the center of the ring by the Shield Hero!" Excalibur exclaimed, then observed Naofumi's gesture of hitting his fists with his palm. "He is pumping his fists and signaling for it!"

Naofumi then picks up the knight and carries him in Fireman's position, going for his signature Go to Shield (Fireman's Carry into Uppercut), but it doesn't happen as Malty climbs up to the apron to shout at the Shield Hero, who decides to let go of the knight as he confronts the self-professed queen.

"Now, what is she doing on the apron?!" Shun asked.

Suddenly, the legal knight takes advantage of the situation as he rolls back Naofumi with an O' Connor Roll.

Naofumi kicks out, but the force of the kickout sends the knight towards Malty on the apron, who falls down on the rising knight, knocking off the knight and the throne, sending the crowd into a wild roar.

"Oh, no! What have you done to the queen?! And her throne is busted, thanks to Naofumi!" Corey complained.

With a shock to his face, the knight inside was so bewildered that he forgot that the match was still going as he went to Naofumi to surprise him. However, the tables turn when Naofumi catches him off-guard on his shoulders and hits the Go to Shield (Fireman's Carry into Uppercut) on the knight's cheeks, sending him collapsing to the ring as the hero covers the knight with both legs hooked.

The bell rang in succession as the music played for the victor, who raised his arm by the referee.

"Here is your winner, 'The Shield Hero' Naofumi Iwatani!" Mai Sakurajima announced the winner of the match as the crowd cheered for the hero, while outside, the trio of The Monarchy stood up on their own as the nearest audience were laughing at them due to their failed plan as the queen shouted at them.

"What a victory for the Shield Hero. Despite having the odds stacked against him, he sought through any loopholes over the tactics that The Monarchy has attempted and was able to defeat them, and you know what this means?" Excalibur asked.

"It means these goons can no longer get stuck into his business!" Shun exclaimed. "And look at them; the embarrassment from Malty herself is clearly on her face!"

"Do not disrespect the queen like that, we know it's over, but the people here seem to cherish the fact that The Monarchy lost, and I find it awful!" Corey replied.

Meanwhile, Naofumi looks over them with a smirk and begins to chant the other name for Malty, sending her ears into muffling mode as the trio hastily walks out of the arena with Naofumi tapping his fists as he raised them with pride.

"Looks like there will be no matches from this point as coming up next, the contract signing for the AVW Women's World Championship between Rin Tohsaka and Asuka Langley Soryu!" Excalibur announced.

"Oh, it is gonna be an interesting sight!" Shun exclaimed.

Backstage Area

Ristarte was somewhere in the area, where she held a mic and began speaking.

"Another night of greatness had passed, and we could not wait for the contract signing to be held in just a few minutes. But first, let's welcome Class 1-A's Katsuki Bakugo and Shoto Todoroki!"

The said duo appeared to a big ovation and stood beside the interviewer, who seemed intrigued by their facial expression.

"I think I can assume that you two are only focusing on the Tag Team Championship since you saw your buddy, Izuku, battled out on his own. So, any plans for both of you at this tournament since you are competing for the last slot in the semi-finals against Maou Sadao and Shiro Ashiya?" She said as the two began to thought about the question until Shoto spoke up for the team.

"First of all, we could not wait to face a new competition! Second, good luck to both of them because we're not the guys who will take you kindly when we're inside the ring! We will be looking on you, and you will see how great the Class 1-A are!" Shoto answered with a positive reaction from the audience.

"Speaking of Class 1-A, besides Izuku, who will defend his World Title next week against SOS Brigade's Kyon. What are the possibilities you might face with the other group members?" Restart asks another question this time, and Katsuki answers the question.

"Oh, them? You know what happened last week; we defeated them. It would be hilarious for them to be eliminated at the tournament because we won't just beat them, but we would be getting rid of them!" Katsuki answered.

"And for that sassy girl who leads them? Really? Do you really have to go low and interfere with Ochako and put her through a table so you can send a message to us? I don't like the move that you have utilized. When your guys go ahead with us, you know we will make a move, and we're gonna send you through a world of hurt! So, is you, Suzumiya! We promised we would get rid of trash bags, and you will be in that sack!" Shoto follows up with a warning.

"Class 1-A will be victorious! Class 1-A is number one!" Katsuki added a positive reaction as both of them walked out of Ristarte, who seemed concerned at the answers that she heard from them.

"Let's go back to the commentators inside of the arena!" Restart announced.

"Class 1-A has sent their burning regards to their future opponents in the tournament," Excalibur said. "And speaking of the tournament, next week on AVW's first TV special - February's Avalanche Slam, the last quarterfinals match will take place as Class 1-A's Katsuki Bakugo and Shoto Todoroki will compete against the team of Maou Sadao and Shiro Ashiya for the final slot in the Semi-Finals!" Excalibur added.

"And their colleague, the AVW World Champion, Izuku Midoriya, will defend the title for the first time against SOS Brigade's Kyon!" Shun added.

"Earlier tonight, we've seen Mikoto Misaka proposing a match against Kaname Chidori, on I guess on who will expose who kind of proportions." Corey followed up. "Also happening next week, will Rimuru Tempest embarrass Kazuma Sato again, just like what the genderless star did on Winter Warfare? As they will battle in a singles match!"

"And after confirming with our beloved General Manager Kokomi Teruhashi, we could see the finale of the story between Tanjiro Kamado and Nagisa Shiota as they will face each other next week in a Falls Count Anywhere match!" Corey said next.

Excalibur cupped his headset and nodded as he spoke. "Another match has been announced, but it will happen two weeks from now - A Four Corners Match between Kill la Familia's Satsuki Kiryuin, Team Stratos' Houki Shinonono, The Mage Sisters' Rumia Tingel, and Darkness! And this is gonna be a downward spiral for these four teams ahead of their match for the Women's World Tag Team Championship that will be happening at Tag Team Turbulence in three weeks!"

"Now, with the cards announced for the upcoming weeks, we will take you back to the ring, where our beautiful GM Kokomi Teruhashi will moderate the contract signing for the AVW Women's World Championship," Shun announced.

The camera focused on the ring, where the general manager Kokomi Teruhashi in her business attire, with the fans, cooing in unison after seeing the god-like presence of the GM.

"Good evening, everyone! Time is upon us, and February's Avalanche Slam is fast approaching next week. And at that night, we will witness another history-making moment when one of these two woman will be crowned the first-ever AVW Women's World Champion! Let us not waste time, and let me introduce you to one of the contenders! First, the woman who climbed the ladder against multiple opponents last week, Rin Tohsaka!"

("Just Close Your Eyes" by Waterproof Blonde) played next in the arena with Rin Tohsaka showing up on the entranceway, pointing a finger to the left side of the arena to a positive reaction, and so is the right side when she moved to the other side.

"We are one week away from one of the most looked-out matches in our TV special - February's Avalanche Slam! Rin Tohsaka looks to become the first-ever AVW Women's World Champion despite… well, losing the contract when her opponent, Asuka Langley, decides to steal the contract." Excalibur explained.

"Asuka simply doesn't want the match to happen; in short terms, she should be the Women's Champion! She might have done horribly with the contract she stole from Rin!" Shun said.

"If she did something with the contract, this contract signing wouldn't happen in the first place. Kaido, if you wanna complain about something, at least try to think about the situation logically." Corey retorted.

Rin then enters the ring to climb up to the top turnbuckle to taunt the audience until she lands back in the ring to shake hands with the General Manager and makes her way to the right side of the table, sits down as she waits for her opponent with a scowl expression on her face.

"And lastly, the woman who was victorious in the first-ever Women Singles Match, Asuka Langley Soryu!" GM Teruhashi then introduces the other woman involved in the upcoming match.

("The Epic" by Downstait then played in the arena as the girl in the red suit showed up, where the crowd instantly booed the woman as soon as she appeared. Asuka makes her way inside through the ropes while Rin does not lose focus on her despite her opponent's presence inside. As soon as she sat down on the other side, Asuka presented the contract and dropped it hard on the table without damaging it.

"Well, what do you know? Asuka shows the contract to Rin, clear and unwrinkled. That's a sign of sportsmanship!" Corey exclaimed.

"Looks like the expression on Rin's face tells us the whole story, gentlemen," Excalibur said. "The contract, the assault… everything will be living to its expectation this Sunday!"

The music stopped as Asuka stared down at her foe, with GM Teruhashi coughing loudly to gain attention from both sides.

"Ladies, next week will be another historic night in the record books of Anime Valley Wrestling, where both of you will compete for the AVW Women's World Championship at February's Avalanche Slam! Rin Tohsaka vs. Asuka Langley Soryu for the Women's World Championship!" Teruhashi began the formalities by hyping up their match while both women stared at one another. "But first, before we could make it official… Ladies, I need your signatures on the contract in front of you to confirm your participation next week."

The crowd began to shout the names of Rin and Asuka as the general manager showed the pen and put it beside the contract. Rin picked up the pen first and quickly signed her name on the agreement without breaking her frowning face to Asuka. She quickly drops the pen and shoves it into her enemy's chest.

"It seems to dawn at me that Rin's anger begins to boil just from signing her signature on the contract," Corey said. "And I have a bad feeling that I don't even like what's going to happen next."

"Ms. Asuka Langley, your signature is only needed to make it official." GM Teruhashi told the other competitor and offered the pen that was used by Rin. But instead of the pen, she stole the microphone from the official, which garnered boos from the crowd.

But before speaking, she glanced from the audience and regained focus on a still scowling Rin.

"Rin Tohsaka! You seemed to be…" She paused to observe, but nothing came of it, so she sent a smug to her in response. "…in a bad mood. Why are you looking at me like that? What did I do to make you mad? Is it because I stole the contract from you last week? Is that the reason that you look angry?"

She stopped momentarily to hear the side of Rin, but she heard nothing from her. She decided to continue and stood up from her chair.

"I know why you look like a pointless, grumpy woman in her seventies! Are you afraid that your opportunity for the championship will be flushed down the drain? Or maybe, are you just… afraid of me?" She asked with a smirk as the crowd cooed in anticipation. "And for your information, I will be the first-ever AVW Women's Champion, and I could attack you in front, but on my terms, Tohsaka! On my terms!" She stops as Rin stands up and picks up a second microphone from a crew outside as the crowd begins to chant her name.

"Are you stupid, Asuka Langley Soryu? I just signed my signature on the contract, then how about I give you a question?! Why aren't you signing your name? Is it because… you're afraid of me- no, no, no, wait! Let me rephrase it!" Rin shook her hands to clarify her statement. "Is it because you're afraid of losing to me?"

The crowd was in awe at the savagely-thrown question as Asuka's mood changed in just a few seconds as Rin's

"I can see why you stole the contract from me. You stole it because you only wanted to become the Women's Champion to yourself and not want to pick up a fight from me? How pathetic. You see, I was just giving you a glare because you are undeniably a girl who only wants the opportunity for themself and does not want to share it with me. In fact, you are just a pathetic, cowardly, greedy bitch!"

The audience and GM Teruhashi shouted in surprise after hearing the last words that came from Rin's mouth as the eyes of Asuka twitched and closed her eyes, trying not to show any temper to her.

"Next week, when we meet inside the ring, you will never escape from me! You will never do the same thing as last week, sneaking up from behind! Because… I got an eye on you! I will decimate you, take you to the ground, pin you - one, two, three!" Rin gestured to the three essential numbers and continued. "And I will become the AVW Women's Championship! And you cannot deny that!"

Suddenly, Asuka surprises Rin with an eye poke to attack her unexpectedly with shots to the back, causing the crowd to boo and Teruhashi to flee the ring. She then sends Rin's face to the table a few times. Asuka picks up the mic to speak up.

"Just in case you forgot, I can attack you in front on my terms! And that term is right now!" Asuka shouted to the unmoving Rin on the table as the former hardly dropped the mic as she bounced to the ropes, setting up for a Curb Stomp, but Rin's head rose up and sent Asuka's face to the table violently in one shot as Rin grabs both arms and sends Asuka to the table with an Unprettier to a loud reaction with Asuka's face and arm, hanging on the table.

"Rin Tohsaka with the Unprettier to the table, but the table did not break!" Excalibur exclaimed. Rin then glances at the fans, who were chanting 'One more time!', signaling for Rin to hit Asuka one more time as she sweeps the objects from the table.

Rin then grabs the unconscious as she lifts her up, takes her sweet time aiming at the table, and slams Asuka with a Powerbomb to the table, breaking the wooden object in half, possibly Asuka too.

"Big Powerbomb by Rin Tohsaka, and she is gung-ho on winning that AVW Women's World Championship!" Excalibur added.

Rin forgot one thing as she grabbed the arm of then unconscious Asuka to shove the pen into her hand and moved her arm, accordingly writing the name of her foe on the contract without the opponent's knowledge.

"Rin wrote Asuka's name on the contract, on her behalf!" Shun cried.

Rin then shouts to the fans and climbs up to the top turnbuckle to taunt them with her theme playing in the background.

"What a statement was made by Rin Tohsaka! But this is only the precursor of their match for the AVW Women's World Championship next week at February's Avalanche Slam!" Corey said.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we would like to thank you for joining us here at Elevation! And next week, another chapter will be made in the books of AVW! As we go-ahead to the capital city of Washington next week for February's Avalanche Slam! Good night, everyone!" Excalibur said the final greetings as Rin stood tall on the turnbuckle as the camera faded to black, ending the show.
