AVW Elevation: Episode 6 (March 1, 2022)
("Broken World" by Alex Norre) played in the intro as the entranceway and the ramp lit up with pyro and fireworks in a pattern with the follow-up of wild cheers from the crowd.
"Tuesday nights are always the times that we will take you to the sky and reach it because it is time for Elevation! We're here in Phoenix, Arizona and we're raising the heat in here!" Excalibur said the introductory statement to kick off the show. "I'm Excalibur! Alongside me are none other than Corey Graves and Shun Kaido!" The other two showed their patented gesture to the camera. "Welcome, gentlemen! Another night of excitement and elation is upon us!"
"That is right, Excalibur! After a special and historical night last week in Tag Team Turbulence, we are now ahead and en route to our next pay-per-view – Battle Chronicle! Could not wait!" Shun said in excitement.
"25 days to go and we couldn't wait for what's to come at the event itself, much less for tonight's edition of Elevation! But for tonight—"
"Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!" Corey got interrupted by someone, who turns out to be Rei Ayanami, marching towards the ring while holding a microphone with the crowd beginning to show love for the individual.
"Rei Ayanami? What is she doing interrupting the proceedings?" Corey complained as Rei circles around the ring to meet the fans, who were chanting her name until they stopped when she is about speak again.
"Listen, I just… I just can't get this thought out of my head and I just want to announce it as clearly as I could, so you could understand." Rei said with a serious tone of voice and glaring at the camera. "Asuka! You outsmarted me and you outshine me again! That's twice! I-I just can't…"
She stopped as the fans continue their chants for her as she took a deep breath and continues her speech.
"You see, things will stop if one had enough and I know you very well, you will not stop beating me down until I couldn't walk but guess what? I'm standing here in the middle of the ring! Because I will not stop too, you know me very well!" Rei paused and circled around hastily until she stopped and looks back at the camera with a scowl expression. "Asuka, I'm throwing out the challenge for you! Asuka and Rei at Battle Chronicle! I know you're out there in the locker room, get your ass down here, and let's make it official!"
The crowd chants 'Yes' as Rei desperately wanted to make things official and waits for her formidable foe to come.
"Wow! Right after we just said about Battle Chronicle, Ayanami heard the plug and attempts to put it official!" Shun said in amazement as after a minute has passed by, she realized that she will not be attending inside the arena and this just made her agitated.
"Right, right! I know her very well that I forgot that she runs like the coward that she is! She is nowhere to be found and—"
"OH, REI!~ I'M OVER HERE, YOU PUNK ASS FREAK!"
Rei turns around at the Tron, where Asuka was sighted on the screen. Her presence sends the crowd booing when she dons sunglasses as if she was taking a vacation.
"Rei! If you're there, I know you're breaking down, breaking down like a lonely child, and that you seek help in the most pathetic way possible! These people won't care about you and their sympathies are more than just a fraud, it's fake! It's faker than plastic surgery!" Asuka said to Rei and to the crowd, who did not like her response from her.
"Speaking of which, I already know what you're going to say next, are you going to challenge me to a match at Battle Chronicle? Hahahaha! Guess what, idiot, I'll reject the offer! Why? I took the victory for my team and oh, by the way, I just pinned the champion! Hahaha!" Asuka cackled loudly and the fans began to jeer her despite being only on-screen while Rei was listening attentively. "Well, too bad for you, honey, I just talked to our General Manager and she just confirmed that a rematch will happen at Battle Chronicle! Asuka Langley Soryu versus Rin Tohsaka for the AVW Women's World Championship!"
The boos starts to grow louder as Rei's face began to sour when she heard the announcement.
"Well, Ayanami's chances of getting her hands on Asuka have slimmed down," Corey said.
"If I beat her, I will be the new women's champion and… if you wanted to put hands over me, let me tell you, it ain't going to be easy for you and mostly in that locker room!" Asuka said as she took a sip of her drink and sighed confidently. "Now, what you're gonna do now? I'm not there tonight and you look like you're about to cry. Hahaha!"
The crowd booed the heck out of Asuka while Rei's lip curled as if she was going to break down but turns out, she sneered in response and raises the microphone below her lips.
"Oh, yes, I can cry but not until I could make you cry first! But hey, since you're not here and I'm in the mood for putting out my emotions into my fists, why don't you call your partner? What's her name? Ami Kawashima?" Rei asked Asuka, who removed her glasses to see her smirking expression.
"Oh, you mean, my partner? Fine, you can have her all you want but I know that she could beat you." Asuka sneered and drank her beverage once again until she spoke. "She's dazzling, she's a beaut, she's talented and I know she's a fighter! So, good luck then and you're interrupting my vacation here, idiot! Goodbye!"
The screen shuts down as the crowd booed for her disappearance as Rei smirked when she got her second wish and waits for her opponent to enter.
"Looks like they're will be a match between Rei Ayanami and Ami Kawashima since Rei's first request did not go through and a rematch between Asuka and the women's champion Rin Tohsaka is set for Battle Chronicle!" Excalibur stated as a referee entered the ring with him talking to Rei.
("Pressure" by Muse) was played in the background where the tall blue-haired lady appeared at the entrance to pose with the camera a few times with the crowd booing in the background while she did not care about the jeers from them as she made her way across the ramp.
"The following match is scheduled for one fall with a 30-minute time limit, in the ring, from New Tokyo City, Rei Ayanami!" Mai Sakurajima announced as Rei stood on the turnbuckle to taunt a cheerful crowd. "And her opponent, from Tokyo, Japan, THE MOST AMICABLE SUPERSTAR IN THE WORLD - Ami Kawashima!"
The crowd booed when Ami took her time to enter the ring while Rei was not having it from her time-inducing antics as the model took time to take poses from the camera.
"Ami Kawashima, the most amicable superstar in the world, is set for action on her first singles match here in AVW! She's here to do Asuka's bidding to take down Rei!" Corey exclaimed as both women face-to-face with one another.
("My Last Breath" by Evanescence) played next as the Tron sets up a 10-second timer. After the timer expired, the women's champion appeared on the Tron to a loud ovation and held her belt up high before she slings it on her shoulder.
"Looks like we have a special guest for this match! The AVW Women's World Champion Rin Tohsaka and I think she is walking towards our booth!" Shun announce as the champion did make her way to the commentary table, where Shun put out a fourth chair to make Rin sit beside her and put her headphones on to watch the match. "Welcome to the booth, champ!"
"Thank you! I'm here to observe what's going to happen in this match, I'm intrigued." Rin spoke to the commentators beside her.
"Well, of course, everyone's intrigued by the match, and for you, Asuka's announcement of a rematch between you and her at Battle Chronicle! Any thoughts about it?" Corey asked the champion as the referee signals the timekeeper to ring the bell as it did.
"Oh, yeah… Couldn't wait to beat her again and she's on a vacation? What kind of a competitor is she?" Rin asked.
The match began when both women tie-up until Ami puts Rei in a Headlock hold but Rei sends themselves to the ropes, where she sends Ami to the other ropes to take her down with a Shoulder Tackle as the crowd went on to chant Ami's name.
"Shoulder Tackle right off the bat and down goes Kawashima on the canvas! I'm pretty sure Rei's taking her frustrations from the loss last week." Excalibur said as Rei grabs Ami by the hair and whips Ami to the ropes only to reverse it by Ami with one of her own to replicate the Shoulder Tackle, a minute ago.
"Oh, yeah, I wonder why we lose on that one, Excalibur." Rin uninspiringly replied to the masked commentator while Ami hops on the downed Rei to bounce to the ropes.
Once Ami bounces to the other side, Rei surprises her with a Dropkick to the face, sending the crowd into a cheering mood as Ami rolled outside to the charging of the audience. Rei then rolls to the outside too to focus on a struggling Ami.
"Well, it seems that our champion is not in the brightest mood as well after last week," Corey said as Rei bounces the head of Ami a few times on the apron while defending herself as the referee begins to count.
Rei interacts with the nearest fans after spamming her opponent's head to the apron. After a few seconds, Ami got up and Rei hits a Clothesline, sending her down again on the floor with fans cheering on her.
"Oh, wow, got her down with that Clothesline, and Rei must remember that the referee is counting for both of them." Excalibur sends a reminder to everyone as Rei picks Ami up, sending her back inside and following suit.
"She's wise on using time and I think she's the smartest of all of us but us losing last week, questions our integrity as a team. That's another reason that I'm here." Rin said vaguely.
"An ambiguous approach, alright. But I think there's a real reason why you're here, right? Rather than just observing, you just analyzed it and unveiled it to us without a real purpose to it, if you know what I mean." Shun said to the champion, who was ignoring her fully.
Rei picks up Ami and attempts to lift her up in a Vertical Suplex position; however, Ami shots the kidney of Rei a few times until she releases her. Ami then sends Rei down with an STO and proceeds to stomp the left hand of Rei a few times, the crowd started to boo the model.
"STO by Kawashima and Asuka is right about the capability of beating Rei down," Corey said as Ami grabs Rei's head to take a few shots at it until she decides to take her arm down with an Arm DDT, sending Rei in pain and the crowd into jeers. Ami took time to mock the crowd about Rei crying.
"Oh, yes, I have never seen this woman's full potential and that's not the reason why we lost that night. She is looking to decimate her." Rin said, much to the confusion of the commentators with her odd choice of words.
Ami then immediately went for the cover only for Rei to kick out at 1. She immediately focuses on the hurt arm and locks Rei in an Armbar, sending Rei squirming in pain while the crowd begins to rally behind the struggling individual.
"Armbar by Ami Kawashima and Rin's right about Ami's full potential, we are seeing something in her that is not being seen last week," Excalibur said as Rei show signs of moving towards the ropes but the submission was held tightly by Ami.
"Oh, I think Ami can do this! This might be the biggest win of her career yet!" Corey exclaimed as Rei was screaming in pain while Ami screams at Rei to tap out.
After what seems to be an eternity, Rei hastily uses her foot to capture the bottom rope, causing the crowd to cheer while the referee warns Ami of disqualification when she did not let go of the arm of her opponent, Ami did follow the rule and releases the arm of Rei.
Ami then continues the beating when she hits the Garvin Stomps throughout her body and taunts the booing crowd while the stomp barrage continues.
"She really is confident about herself, isn't she? She's all over Rei, literally and figuratively." Rin said as Ami talked to the knocked-down Rei that her wishes will not happen and can go back to her roots.
Ami throws Rei to the apron as the latter tries to stand back up on her own with the former following her. Ami then decides to knock Rei for good when she attempts a Vertical Suplex but somehow Rei blocks the attempt with her weight as Ami attempts to hoist her a few times but to no avail but when the attempt was eased, Rei surprises Ami when she hits a Suplex on her own, sending both her and her opponent to the outside, sending awes to the crowd when they hit their backs on the floor, both women were agonized by the impact.
"Oh, my! What a Suplex to the outside and both women inflicted the same damage as their bodies impacted on the hard floor!" Excalibur said as the referee begins to count for both of them.
"Rei certainly took the table into 180 degrees but at what cost? Can this be the moment that Rei needed?" Shun asked as Rin was seriously observing the whole ordeal in the ringside area.
At the count of six, both women showed signs of consciousness and both went for the same idea of entering the ring. When both of them stood up and held on to the ropes to gain balance, Ami gain the upper hand when he fires a punch only for Rei to fire back with her own punch, staggering the blue-haired girl. The women went on to exchange their right hands until Rei took the advantage of spamming punches in the face of Ami with the crowd cheering for her.
"Here comes Ayanami, raining down some big deckers to the face of Kawashima and she is not stopping here!" Corey exclaimed as Rei grabs the arm of Ami and decapitates her with a Short Arm Clothesline. "Short Arm Clothesline down goes Kawashima and Ayanami has gained back her momentum."
Rei strikes another Clothesline on Ami, who got knocked down again but was backed up again by Rei, who attempts to whip her to the ropes only for Ami to reverse the attempt as Rei sends herself to the ropes. When she sees Ami bowing and not looking, she kicks her on the chest, causing her to clutch her chest. Rei went to the ropes again and launches Ami outside with a Dropkick, sending the crowd cheering for her name.
"Huge dropkick by Rei and Ami is in big, big trouble and things won't go down easily for Rei!" Excalibur said as Rei sees Ami backing up on her feet and went bouncing in the ropes, launching herself to the outside with a Suicide Dive, sending Ami back down again as Rei roared with confidence to the fans nearby.
"Rei Ayanami is in hot streaks here in Phoenix! Isn't that right, Rin? Rin?" Shun asked the champion, who completely ignores him as she was observing the action in the ring heavily. "Okay, what the heck is going on here?"
Rei then picks up Ami and sends her back inside as she climbs up to the top turnbuckle, attempting for a Splash only for her to roll when she felt that Ami rolls out of harm's way and staggers on a corner. Rei attempts to make a run to Ami but the latter fires back with a Back Elbow, sending Rei staggering and rubbing her cheek in concern.
Ami then grabs the hand of Rei from underneath her lower extremities and the other was draped over her neck as she wows everyone when she hits the Under Pressure (Pumphandle Flipping Facebuster), sending the body of Rei bouncing in the canvas as she went for the cover with a leg hooked.

Rei kicks out, much to the surprise of Ami.
"Wow! Up and down goes Ayanami with a Pumphandle, face-first into the mat but that epic maneuver was not enough for Kawashima to gain a victory here!" Corey exclaimed as Ami focuses on the concerned arm when she severely batters it with multiple stomps, causing the crowd to jeer over her.
"Ami is decimating Rei's arm, dissecting it like she was a science project!" Excalibur exclaimed as Ami mocks the crowd while rubbing her face after a hellish offense was inflicted on her.
Ami then grabs Rei's head and swings her head, attempting for a Neckbreaker only for Rei to send Ami to the ropes, Rei follows Ami from behind and surprises Ami when she grabs her head and Rei springboards herself to the top rope and hits the Slice of Heaven (Springboard Bulldog), sending Ami face down on the mat, where she shoots the half and hooks the farther leg.

Ami kicks out, much to the surprise of everyone, including Rei.
"Wow… she survived that… very barely escaping that one. I didn't know she's that good…" Rin said on the commentary.
"I concur with the statement by the women's champion, we didn't see Kawashima's real ability until now and this shows!" Excalibur agreed to the statement.
Rei pumps himself up and interacts with the fans, shouting that this is over, and went on to pick up Ami's carcass, capturing her both arms and attempting to end it with Angel's Wings (Double Underhook Facebuster) but Ami saw it coming and drills Rei towards a corner, thrusting her shoulder to the gut of Rei, earning boos from the audience inside.
Ami blasts Rei with a hard and solid punch, sending her staggering out of the corner. Ami took advantage of the situation as she grabs the head of Rei again attempting for a Neckbreaker but miraculously, Rei moved out of the way and turns Ami around to attempt another Angel's Wings (Double Underhook Facebuster) only for Ami to lift Rei up in surprise.
Rei was able to make a move when she counters it with a Sunset Flip, but Ami was able to slip through the pin. Rei went for a Clothesline but Ami ducked under and grabs the arms of Rei from behind to counter with a Backslide.

The bell rang in succession as the music played for the victor.
"Here is your winner, Rei Ayanami!" Mai Sakurajima announced the victor as Ami was shocked to know that it was all over while Rei was nursing her own arm.
"Oh, wow! This time around, Rei Ayanami outsmarted Ami Kawashima with a Backslide of her own! Asuka's partner did not expect that to come." Excalibur said as the referee tries to consult Rei, Ami took out her frustrations and clubbed her from behind with a Clothesline, she took Rei down with a ground-and-pound offense.
"Hey! Ami is attacking a defenseless Rei!" Shun shouted as the crowd booed when the loser of the match assaults the winner.
Meanwhile, when the situation escalated, Rin took off the headphones and ran straight towards the ring to help Rei. Rin then decks Ami from behind with clubbing blows to the back and sends her to the corner to fire with multiple punches, garnering positive reactions from the crowd.
"Hey, you can't do that! Kawashima is outnumbered by these two and Asuka is on her vacation, someone get some security to break this up!" Corey complained as Rin let go of Ami running backward to the other side of the corner, Ami was stumbling out of the corner, and waited for her to meet eyes with Ami.
Meanwhile, Rei was beginning to stand on her own in the middle of the ring while Ami was walking loopy, walking towards Rin, who runs towards Ami to attempt a Spear only for Ami to pull Rei beside her. Luckily, Rin saw it coming and stopped the momentum as both Rei and Rin meet eye-to-eye.
"Oh… we've seen this last week and now, we're possibly seeing signs of breakdown from both Rei Ayanami and the AVW Women's World Champion Rin Tohsaka!" Excalibur said as Rei confronts Rin for attempting to hit her but Rin fires back with her own, saying that she did the same thing last week.
Because of this dispute, Ami Kawashima capitalizes on the situation as she attempts to attack both women, who concurrently went for the same thing as they throw Back Elbows to the face of Ami, causing her to stumble and be sent to the outside by the Clotheslines of Rei and Rin as the crowd cheered when the women were actually working together.
"Oh! I think it was all a ruse, they are actually working together! They coexist!" Shun exclaimed as Ami was flustered by the happenings between her opponents while both Rei and Rin were sending a message to her, especially for Asuka. Rin's music was played in the background afterward.
"I-I don't know, I doubt that's going to last…" Corey assumed as while Rin was talking to Ami, Rei slowly looks to her left when she sights the championship belt, which was hoisted up by Rin, earning coos from the crowd. "Oh, baby. Will you look at that, I spoke too soon!"
"Rei is looking over to the championship without the prior knowledge of the women's champion. Could this be a sign from Rei Ayanami to Rin Tohsaka?" Excalibur asked as the camera focuses on the backstage area.
Backstage Area
"What an interesting way to start Elevation. But to move on, please welcome, the returning team of Tanjiro Kamado and Zenitsu Agatsuma!" Visha introduced the returning team, in which, the crowd was cheering in the background.
The team appeared beside Visha, however, they came not only two but a new individual appeared behind them. The individual was half-naked and his defining feature was his boar head, causing Visha to raise an eyebrow.
"Oh, you're looking at our buddy, Inosuke?" Zenitsu asked first as Visha nodded. "Don't worry, he's our partner and a companion, he'll guide us to whatever challenge we're stepping through. He doesn't bite though, don't be scared."
"Oh, yes, I'll keep that in mind." Visha simply replied.
"But we're biting every challenge and we're here to conquer it, we're here to overcome it; and now, we've come back bigger, stronger, and hungrier than before! Because we're here to hunt heads and no one's going to stop us now!" Tanjiro proudly shouted as his comrades were shouting as well.
Visha then extends her arm to Inosuke and gives his words on their return.
"I am the Head Honcho, Inosuke! They're The Head Hunters! And tonight, we will start the hunt and target the heads of those who hinder our journey to Tag Team Gold! And right now, we're overtaking our first trial!" Inosuke replied bluntly as the trio whispered to one another that they should leave and prepare for their first trial and actually left, leaving Visha baffled because she did not reply to Inosuke's statement.
("Blood / Water" by grandson) begins to play in the arena as the fans were applauding for the arrival of the three warriors as the two of them knelt on the ramp while the third individual was standing behind them with the trio howled, punched their fists on the ramp, and raised them in the air.
"The following contest is a tag team match and it is set for one fall with a 30-minute time limit! Introducing first, the team of Aren Kuboyasu and Kineshi Hairo!" Mai Sakurajima introduce the team that was currently inside the ring, huddling up for a short meeting. "And their opponents, being accompanied by Inosuke, the team of Zenitsu Agatsuma and Tanjiro Kamado – 'The Head Hunters!'"
"The new and improved trio with the addition of 'The Head Honcho' Inosuke to the returning team of 'The Head Hunters' Tanjiro and Zenitsu. What do you think, Corey? Is it an upgrade?" Excalibur asks his colleague as Tanjiro and Zenitsu enter inside to climb up to separate turnbuckles and howled once more until they came back down to prepare for the match.
"I must say, with the numbers game being advantageous at most times, I think it's safe to say that they improved by a mile from what we have seen from them since their loss at Tag Team Turbulence Tournament." Corey honestly answered as both teams decided that Zenitsu and Aren will start the match.
"With this big upgrade of them, this might help them back on racing for the Tag Team Championship picture. But first, they have to face a task with this tag team match." Shun added as both men started tying up after the bell rang.
The tie-up ended up when Aren took the first move when he locks in the Headlock on Zenitsu, who escapes the hold when he shoves Aren to the ropes to hit him with a Reverse STO, sending Aren crawling to the nearest ropes. The fans cheered when Zenitsu points out to his partner, Tanjiro, who nodded while extending his arm to offer a tag with Inosuke jumping in excitement.
"Everyone knows that these guys are brave and dangerous, hence fans out here love the duo, especially, with the addition of Inosuke!" Shun exclaimed as Zenitsu tags Tanjiro to the cheers of the fans.
Zenitsu sees Aren's head draping on the middle rope as he ran to the ropes to hit a Seated Senton on his back, causing for Aren to go back up while clutching his back. When he turns around, Tanjiro spikes him with a Michinoku Driver and proceeds to cover Aren.

Hairo appeared to break the pin with a stomp.
"Michinoku Driver has the endgame written over it but Hairo makes sure it doesn't there!" Excalibur said to the boos of the fans when he stomps Tanjiro on the back a few times.
Hairo raised his arms in celebration and when he turns around, he was met with a Diving Crossbody from Zenitsu to the cheers of the fans. Tanjiro then stood up and calls Zenitsu to raise Hairo again and when he picks him up, both of them hit Hairo with a Double Spinebuster, sending him rolling to the outside.
"Double Spinebuster for Hairo's troubles for breaking up the pin!" Corey exclaimed as both Tanjiro and Zenitsu saw Aren begin to stand up again.
Tanjiro grabs the arm of Aren and hits the Striking Tide (Ripcord Headbutt), sending him down again on the mat. Meanwhile, Zenitsu makes the climb to the top while Tanjiro climbed up as well as both men looked at a roaring crowd and howled one more time to hit The 17th Form (Double Diving Headbutt) on Aren's body to the cheers of the crowd.
"The 17th Form is what they called on the Double Headbutt from the top… and what in the world is Zenitsu doing again on the top?" Excalibur questions Zenitsu's intention to the top but it turns out, he dives to the outside to hit a Diving Crossbody on the now-standing Hairo, and both went down again.
"Oh, wow! A daring Crossbody dive to the outside sends Hairo on his back on the floor!" Corey exclaimed as Tanjiro makes the cover.

The bell rang in succession as Zenitsu and Inosuke entered inside to celebrate their victory with Tanjiro, who was rubbing his head and the music began to blare in the arena.
"Here are your winners, 'The Head Hunters' Zenitsu Agatsuma and Tanjiro Kamado!" Mai Sakurajima announced as the trio's arm hoists up to the roar of the crowd.
"The Head Hunters with an easy picking to their opponents and become victorious tonight! With some aid from their comrade, Inosuke!" Excalibur said as the trio climbs up to separate turnbuckles to interact with the fans.
"Like I said before, definitely an upgrade and they still have a long way to go! And with their kind of style that they're wrestling with, it's going to make the tag division shake head and terrify them." Corey said. "But speaking of the tag division, let's celebrate the victory of the inaugural AVW Women's Tag Team Champions with the quartet known as Team Stratos will be in the ring, next!"
"Welcome back to Elevation, ladies and gentlemen! The night isn't over yet here in Phoenix, Arizona! Still, to come, our main event, AVW World Champion Izuku Midoriya will defend the title against 'The Shield Hero' Naofumi Iwatani and this will mark the end of an unfinished business back in Winter Warfare!" Excalibur announced.
"And another spot for the Ladder Match for the AVW Infinity Championship is up for grabs when SOS Brigade's Kyon will take on the debuting Seiya!" Shun added. "And also, Sousuke Sagara will compete against Touma Kamijou with both Kaname Chidori and Mikoto Misaka on their respective corners!"
"Plus, let's not forget about another spot which is up for grabs as well, but in the process of an elimination, if Rimuru Tempest loses this match against Kazuma Sato in a rematch a few weeks ago on February's Avalanche Slam!"
("Imaginary" by Evanescence) played next as the lights shut off monetarily until a spotlight sight a silhouette of four women in the middle of the ramp. Two were kneeling while the other two were standing behind them with their belts raised. The light went back to reveal the quartet of Team Stratos, who stalls time to mock the crowd with their victory as they walked their way inside the ring.
"After a chaotic four-way match, Team Stratos make a name for themselves when they delivered a World War-like finish to a match to become the inaugural AVW Women's Tag Team Champions, with some assistance from their other colleagues!" Excalibur stated as the quartet entered the ring, which was filled with flags and a circumferential table in the middle.
"Of course, nobody expects the intervention from the other two out there but my god, what an impact they have made already!" Corey exclaimed as both Cecilia and Houki raised the belts one more time while both Laura and Charlotte raised their arms as the ring post blasted a shower of confetti around the ringside, garnering boos from the crowd.
"But I wonder, is this celebration made to mock these people?" Shun curiously asked.
"Oh, Kaido. You know when you achieve something, you celebrate with people! Stop asking trivial questions." Corey replied.
The music died down when Cecilia grabbed two microphones from the ringside crew and the crowd showed their genuine feelings for the quartet by booing them accordingly.
"People of this country, you will absolutely feel the power when nations across the world unite for success!" Cecilia shouted from the microphone as she and Houki raised the belts again to raise ire from the audience, who begins to chant 'USA!' multiple times. "You can chant all nonsense that you can but we're still standing in this ring as your AVW Women's Tag Team Champions!"
"She's right. No chants can't stop the momentum of these girls from prevailing in the division." Corey said as the crowd begins to chant Ryuko's and Satsuki's names, earning whispers from other members of the quartet in the ring to Cecilia.
"And the crowd in Phoenix only wanted Kill la Familia's Ryuko and Satsuki," Excalibur commented as Cecilia readjusts herself as she puts the mic under her chin to speak again.
"I see why you're complaining, you wanted those two delinquent sisters to run this division, huh?" Cecilia asked the crowd, who were chanting 'Yes' several times, making her sneer at them while the others looked in disgust. "You people here are the most nonsensical, brainless group I have ever seen! You're supporting those miscreants rather than the ones who are polite and righteous, and deserving to be acknowledged! I'm ashamed of all of you! Shame!"
The crowd booed them continuously as they shared their genuine feelings incoherently.
"You know what? You can cheer them all day and night but the reality is we… are taking over this poor, poor state of a city! And nothing that can stop us four from getting defeated!" Cecilia continued while the fans jeered over them in the background. "Oh, by the way, since we're in a great mood. Let's move on to the introductions, shall we?"
"Oh, yes. The celebration needs formalities as well, gentlemen." Corey said as Cecilia looks over to the other three on her left as they all nodded, signaling her to start introducing them.
"First, from the further left side of me, representing Germany, the rabid one-eyed savage that can knock your whole 32 teeth with a single beat, Laura Bodewig!" Cecilia introduced the silver-haired girl, who was growling and gloating about her personality on the barricade with fans. "Next, she is the personification of her home country, a kind-hearted and polite individual but can be combative when people rub her in the wrong way, from France, Charlotte Dunois!"
The crowd gave a different when Charlotte posed on the camera as if she was a gentleman until she waved but turns it into a middle finger, changing the tune of the crowd in an instant as the quartet smirked at this response.
"Next, to my right, a strict and silent being but her large frame will make people of her size intimidate her, and she has an intention of hurting people when it is needed the most, from Japan, Houki Shinonono!" Cecilia introduced the larger person of their group as Houki raised the belt with pride and gestures a slitting motion in her neck, indicating that they're a dead man when you mess with her. "And lastly…" Cecilia chuckled as she flirtatiously introduces herself to the people.
"I'm Cecilia Alcott, one of the most influential people in the company and the one who pinned your favorite, Ryuko Matoi! Proudly representing the best English-speaking countries and the GOAT in the world, the United Kingdom!" She cackled when the crowd's reaction went nuclear after mentioning her country. "We are Team Stratos! We're here to send everyone's dreams and egos to the stratosphere and all of you shall grasp the reality."
"What an introduction by Cecilia! That's impactful if I have just to comment." Shun said.
"Now, with that of our way, we will celebrate our deserving victory by raising our hearts and prides out, also raising our drinks to the sky! Mr. Servant, can you please serve us that wonderful serving of red wine?" Cecilia exclaimed as the camera pans to the ramp, where a servant in a bartender suit was walking towards the ring, holding a platter that holds a bottle of wine and four wine glasses.
"Thank you for waiting, Mr. Servant. Now let's get those glasses filled with that precious drink!" Cecilia ordered as the servant took his time to pour the liquids into their glasses.
After a minute, the glasses took their destination to the quartet on the ring as they all nodded and raised their glasses to the sky as high as possible while the crowd took offense from this.
"To our victory! To the longevity of our reign as champions!" Cecilia shouted as the quartet began drinking the liquor.
Right out of the gate, they did not consume the liquid as they spewed out the liquor from their mouths in disgust. Cecilia took offense to this and grimaced at the taste that she felt from her tongue while others coughed in response.
"Oh, it seems that the red wine got expired for some reason," Corey said as the crowd laughed at their reactions.
"Blaaarghh! What in the world is that wine?! It tastes bitter and strong! I thought we bought the best of the bunch!" Cecilia complained as she took a smelling test on the glass and it turns out that it was not red wine. She then turns around to meet the servant, who was perplexed at their reactions earlier. "Huh… you're also one of them, huh? Sending us a drink that can poison us is an offense that we should take seriously."
Meanwhile, the rabid Laura turns around to glare at the servant, who was on the corner, makes her way to him, and grabs the collar of his attire, sending threats to him for making their victory celebration sour. The servant denies the claims of him sabotaging the party but this reason did not buy to the quartet, who were sending deadly stares at the servant.
"Laura, execute him!" Cecilia announced as Laura sneered and was about to land a fist on the servant until the crowd starts to cheer, stopping Laura from her actions as everyone turns around at the arrival of both Ryuko Matoi and Satsuki Kiryuuin into the audience. The servant, meanwhile, escaped out of the ring safely.
"It's the sisters, Ryuko and Satsuki! Kill la Familia is here!" Excalibur exclaimed as the sisters send daggers to the quartet in the ring.
"I thought they were at home watching!" Corey complained.
"You should've known better, Corey," Shun replied as the crowd was chanting their names continuously.
"Sorry to interrupt your proceedings but it is inevitable for us to crash the party to address something here," Ryuko spoke. "Look, all we can say is congratulations on winning the Women's Tag Titles! You outsmarted us, not gonna lie."
The quartet began to shout at them incoherently but they were gloating about their victory last week.
"Hold on for a second, girls. We're speaking the truth but we just need to clarify that all we can say to you is congratulations, but in a nicer perspective." Ryuko and Satsuki took a few steps down the stairs before the former can speak again. "But we have a lot to say about you from another perspective."
The crowd continues to rally behind both Ryuko and Satsuki while the quartet was holding the ropes as if the ring was owned by them and was sending unclear messages but with an obvious objective.
"You four, outsmarted us last week. You outsmarted us precisely in that we have gained this feeling that we never felt before. We wanted to beat you down so badly that we want you to be immobilized for the rest of your lives! We want to take offense, we want to kick your butts and mostly, we want to take those titles away from your plump figures!" Ryuko addressed their intentions to Team Stratos, who take offense at her comments.
"Hey, hey! You want us for the titles?" Cecilia asked and stopped when the crowd chanted 'Yes' one more time as she sneered. "Fat chance for you, two delinquents, you don't deserve this at all! We serve the balance of the competition of this division and you are not the models of it! Now go back home and watch us display our agenda right into your faces!"
The crowd began to boo Cecilia after the remarks but both Ryuko and Satsuki were left unimpressed as Ryuko shrugged and begins to reply to Cecilia's comments.
"Hey, did your moods become sour, perhaps bitter? Never thought the drink would be that effective and that bitter." Ryuko chuckled, garnering raising eyebrows from the quartet.
"What are you talking about? The drink? Why do you care about it? Why do you—"
The realization kicks in on Cecilia when she saw the light in her comment and this made her angry.
"Hey, did you do something with the wine that we bought?" Cecilia asked Ryuko, who was smirking at her, mocking the speaker of Team Stratos.
"Oh, now you've realized? I didn't think that the fish sauce would affect their brains on realizing the situation." Ryuko quipped as the crowd cheered when Cecilia grimaced and grasp upon the fact they almost drink the liquid condiment.
"Shut up, lowlifes! Shut up!" Cecilia shouted as she embarrassingly shook her head while Houki aids her with comfort as she stares daggers at Ryuko.
"I believe that the wine is here in me," Ryuko said as she produces from her back the original wine that the quartet have bought, causing Team Stratos to shout at them. "You see, I don't drink this but my sister fancies it, so we grab it from the storage backstage and when we saw your names on the bottle, we decided to stir things up, so we exchange the wine with fish sauce with the same design of the bottle."
"You stole them! Give it back, you thieves!" Cecilia shouted at them.
But before Ryuko could speak again, Satsuki surprisingly snags the microphone from her, shocking everyone in the crowd and Ryuko as well.
"Idiots, do you think you can even drink wine at your age?" Satsuki spoke sternly. "Who would even think a child that looks like a pirate can drink this stuff?"
The crowd was in awe when she indirectly insults Laura, who took offense as she growled and climbs up to the rope, attempting to make her way to them but was stopped by Charlotte, who pulled her back to calm her down.
"Hey, you French blondie, you're too beautiful to drink wine; in fact, if you drink it, you'll get down with ugliness on your face when you wake up." Satsuki continues her slander when Charlotte shouted at the oldest sister of Ryuko, who was laughing at the antics that she hears. "And you the other blondie, you cry too much but when you drink wine, you're going to cry more when we beat you for the titles. Then, that tree trunk over there would break to its roots to cry as well and embarrass herself that she could not defeat me and Ryuko, fair and square."
With that comment alone, all of the members of Team Stratos were beginning to nag and send threats to them while Ryuko and Satsuki were smirking from afar.
"If that's your way of persuading us to a match for the Tag Team Titles. Nice try but it ain't going to happen! You can speak disrespectful things to us but you can't have any opportunities to these titles." Cecilia responded while looking at the belts. "But I'll tell you what, we will give you a door of opportunity to the Women's Tag Team Championships if we give you favors if that's okay for you."
Both Ryuko and Satsuki huddled up and thought about the offer as Ryuko nodded.
"Very well. Since you're trying to get to our skins, we'll give you an option for a VIP pass to our match next week, like you can sit on the commentary table or watch at the ringside. We will defend our Tag Team Championships to a team that you might probably know."
"Sure, no problem. But whoever the team you'll be facing, I hope that they can beat your asses in that ring next week, so we can see your embarrassing faces when you lose those titles." Ryuko said as Cecilia became agitated by the comment.
"Oh, yeah? We almost forgot that we're greater, stronger, and better in numbers! So, I suggest that you both back-off and watch us dominate!" Cecilia exclaimed as the belts were raised by her fellow colleagues, causing the crowd to boo them again.
The verbal breakdown ended when the two teams were sending icy glares at one another as the quartet's theme played in the background.
"What a fiery exchange of verbal beatdowns! Looks like these two sets of teams are not finished with their business with one another and we'll see what happens next week when Team Stratos will defend their AVW Women's Tag Team Championships against a team that Kill la Familia knows so much." Excalibur stated.
"Can't wait for Team Stratos to show how their efficiency in teamwork is going to send them into victory once they defeated whoever this team is," Corey said.
"But for now, let's go backstage when our resident interviewer, Chika Fujiwara, is on standby with one of our talents there!" Shun said as the camera transitions to backstage, where Chika was standing.
Backstage Area
"Good evening, everyone! And please let us welcome, Nagisa Shiota and Karma Akabane!" Chika Fujiwara introduced the duo, who appeared in not the best of mood with the crowd booing them in the background. "Well, uhhh, any thoughts after losing in the Tag Team Turbulence Tournament?"
Karma sneered when the microphone approaches his lip. "Huh… you're giving us questions like this? How touching."
"We lost. That's it." Nagisa added. "Now that we're entering a new phase in our team, we're thinking about something, something awful that is going to happen tonight. It's our way of showing our frustrations after losing such a high-profile match."
"What do you mean by that?" Chika asked but before Nagisa could answer, someone beside Chika appeared before her.
It was revealed that Shinji Ikari appeared in the vicinity as he crossed his arms, staring at them bluntly, where the crowd cheered for his appearance.
"What do you want?" Karma asked.
"I'm curious. What is it that you're planning for tonight? Because, from the looks on your faces, you'll be doing something that is going to ruin someone's parade." Shinji answered as Karma rolls his eyes.
"Thanks for speaking the obvious, kid. But if you're trying to stop us from doing it, don't. Because if you do, you'll be in for a wonderful treat." Karma told Shinji, who was unfazed by the threat sent to him until the duo walked out of their sight, leaving both Chika and Shinji by themselves.
Chika realizes that this is the perfect time to get a scoop from Shinji as she puts the microphone under his chin.
"If they're thinking about what I'm thinking then they will be on my radar and stop on whatever they will pull out tonight." Shinji simply said. "I will not go home until I see with my own eyes what they have in store for tonight."
Shinji then walks out of Chika, who was pretty clueless about the vagueness of the interview until it transitions back to the commentary table.
"So, what are those two going to do tonight? Oh, man, I am curious about what they're going to do here in Phoenix." Shun said.
"But whatever will happen tonight, we will see it with our own eyes," Corey replied.
("Falling Down" by Oasis) was played in the arena as the crowd booed to the arrival of both Haruhi Suzumiya and Kyon, who were taking their time to walk across the ramp toward the ring while the lights from the ramp were flashing continuously.
"The following contest is a Qualifying Match for the AVW Infinity Championship Ladder Match and is scheduled for one fall with a 15-minute time limit, introducing first, accompanied by Haruhi Suzumiya, representing SOS Brigade - Kyon!" Mai Sakurajima announced as both Kyon and Haruhi entered the ring with confidence on their faces.
"The last time we've seen Kyon was back in February's Avalanche Slam when he faced the AVW World Champion Izuku Midoriya in a losing effort but tonight, Kyon and the SOS Brigade are looking to shine upon themselves on another opportunity for a title after Yato and Yukine lost in the finals of Tag Team Turbulence Tournament last week; hence, they're missing in the group after a grueling night of competition," Excalibur stated.
"You know what they say: 'Grab it until someone gets it' and it is what the current situation is for Kyon and he is looking for a shot at AVW Infinity Championship at Battle Chronicle, in which, a change could happen later tonight when Rimuru Tempest puts his opportunity on the line against Kazuma Sato!" Corey added as Haruhi received a microphone from the timekeeper as the music died down and she begins to speak.
"Listen, everyone. I know you hardly miss me, the president of SOS Brigade, but I don't care about your feelings!" Haruhi spoke to the jeers of the crowd. "We know that we have had a rocky start since the inception of this company but we never give up and we took our losses like the champion that they should be. So, speaking of champions, tonight, my vice president here is looking for gold on his shoulders and waist and this will be the start of a one-way road to championship glory. When we defeat that newbie loner, Seiya, if he ever has a last name, Kyon will be the most dominant champion that you will ever see in this multiverse!"
Haruhi dropped the microphone as they waited for the opponent to enter.
("Infamy" by def rebel as the arena went black with white smoke began to show in the entrance. The debutant ascended from underneath as the arena went back to normal when his head went upright to an ovation from the crowd, nonchalantly looking at the ring while walking on the ramp.
"And his opponent, from somewhere down the Earth, Seiya!" Mai Sakurajima announced as both Haruhi and Kyon attended a short brainstorming session on how to defeat a newcomer.
"The debut of a loner but cautious hero, Seiya, after those interesting interactions between him and our interviewer, Ristarte," Excalibur stated as he enters the ring and faced the camera to raise both fists slowly as he could to earn cheers from the fans.
"As far as first impressions go, he's still an enigma to me, we don't know much about him until you said he was cautious, Excalibur. But being cautious in another world is fine but being cautious inside the ring is a different story." Corey said.
"We will see how cautious can benefit Seiya here, Corey. It's a defense mechanism." Shun replied.
Kyon then enters the ring to meet his opponent as if he was staring at a statue because he was unfazed by his glares on him. With that, the referee calls the timekeeper to ring the bell as both men isolated and took a step back to circle around the ring.
The men began a tie-up to show their strength only for Seiya to wring the right arm of Kyon, who immediately reverses the arm twist on his opponent as Kyon went for a right hand but Seiya ducked to deck him with a hard right hand on the face, sending him covering his cheek. Meanwhile, Haruhi shouted to Kyon to keep his focus on his opponent and he nodded.
"Huge uppercut sends Kyon into a baffling state on the corner! Kyon couldn't believe how hard Seiya can hit!" Excalibur exclaimed as Kyon shook his head to refocus on the match as both men went for another tie-up, which quickly ended when Kyon kneed Seiya to the gut, causing the fans boo while Haruhi applauds Kyon for his quick thinking.
Kyon sends himself to the ropes as he attempts a Lariat on Seiya, who ducks underneath to battle Kyon with a few Uppercuts, sending him back until it ended on the ropes. Seiya attempts to whip Kyon only for him to reverse and sends Seiya to a corner. Kyon makes a run to his opponent but Seiya raised up his boot and it hits Kyon's face.
Seiya looked at the fans and decides to take things to a high level literally when he wrung Kyon's arm as he climbs back to the top rope carefully and made a few steps of tightrope walking, sending the fans in awe when he hit the Old School on the back of Kyon's head.
"Kyon is paging Undertaker's playbook with an Old School! Seiya is making it too easy and surprisingly, he's in control of the match, much to the worry of the president of the SOS Brigade!" Corey said surprisingly as Kyon slowly rolls outside to the ring to attend to Haruhi, who was consulting him currently.
Unconvincingly, Seiya decides to continue his momentum as he sights Kyon on the outside and bounces to the ropes to step up to the middle rope and hits Kyon with a Rope Assisted Tope Con Hilo, sending Kyon down on the floor while Haruhi pulled out in time to avoid any contact with him. The crowd began to cheer the cautious hero, who just stares at the fans with an emotionless expression.
"Tope con Hilo to the outside on Kyon and this big man could fly like a cruiserweight, even if he wants to!" Excalibur exclaimed as Seiya looks at Haruhi, who backs away a few steps to tell Seiya to back off while the referee begins to count.
"And to top it all, this is the first time I've seen Haruhi Suzumiya in a panic since!" Shun added as Haruhi provided a useful distraction for Kyon, who surprises him with a club on the back of Seiya to the boos of the crowd and the satisfaction of Haruhi.
Kyon then continues the assault of Seiya, who turns around to attack but only to get spammed by a few shots to the face and sends Seiya to the ring post, face-first then follows up with multiple face shots on the apron by shoving Seiya's face to the unforgiving part of the ring. When Kyon realizes that the referee is counting and is on 7, he sends Seiya back inside, followed by himself.
Kyon heard Haruhi's orders and nodded as he picks up a prone Seiya on his shoulder and sends his back to the turnbuckles and runs toward the center to slam him down with an Oklahoma Stampede. Kyon then went for the cover with his forearm on his face for a pin.

Seiya kicks out as Kyon smirked with confidence that was shared by Haruhi, this made the fans boo the duo.
"Oklahoma Stampede by Kyon and with that interesting pin there, quite rather arrogant for someone who just got defeated by the AVW World Champion, a few weeks ago!" Excalibur observed as Kyon quickly rolls Seiya on his stomach and locks him in a Front Facelock submission.
"Don't fret, Excalibur. Kyon is just showing why he's the best big man in this company and he is taking lessons to the newcomer, Seiya, on why he should be the one to get the opportunity for that AVW Infinity Championship!" Corey countered as Kyon stood Seiya up while locking the hold on Seiya, who was squirming with the use of his arms, flailing extensively to find a safe place to break the hold.
All of a sudden, Seiya found a way to escape when he sends Kyon and himself to a corner, landing the back of Kyon in the turnbuckles. Kyon fights Seiya with a few clubbing shots on his prone back to the boos of the crowd.
Kyon attempts to hit a Powerbomb but Seiya counters the move with a Back Body Drop, sending Kyon crashing on the canvas. Seiya wasted no time picking his head up and grabbing the arm, attempting for a Vertical Suplex but Kyon quickly lands on his feet and he also attempts a Vertical Suplex of his own but Seiya did the same thing to evade the impact.
Seiya fires a hard forearm strike to the face of Kyon as he went to the ropes but Kyon manages to kick Seiya down to the canvas with a Big Boot, causing the crowd to boo and Haruhi to clap for her partner as he quickly went for the cover with a leg hooked.

Seiya's shoulder was up as he picks up and fires a hard right hand, sending Seiya staggering into a corner.
"Seiya's efforts are doomed from the get-go with Kyon, overcoming the newcomer in this match. Perhaps, he could think of something to change the tides here?" Shun asked as Kyon run towards Seiya to squash him with a Corner Running Splash and follows up with a few shots to the face while the referee warns the big man from the brigade, only for Kyon to back off for a while.
Kyon went for Seiya's back as he clubs the prone part with a few shots until he picks him up in a Gutwrench position but realizes that the stakes is higher, so he decides to up the ante when he climbs up to the second rope as Haruhi watches in glee.
"Uh-oh! Kyon's got Seiya captured and if he hits this Gutwrench from the second rope, it's lights out for the debutant!" Corey exclaimed as the crowd booed Kyon when he lets go of Seiya, hitting a Gutwrench Suplex from the second rope. Miraculously, Seiya lands on his feet, shocking Haruhi and the fans in the arena while Kyon lands on his back in pain.
"What?! He lands on his feet; he still has a short amount of volume to use to escape the Suplex from the top!" Shun said in amazement as both men began to stand upright before the referee began counting.
Kyon realizes that Seiya survived the fall as he went towards him, only for Seiya to hit him with a Rolling Elbow but Kyon was unfazed and tries to attack only to be ducked by Kyon as he spam kicks to the hamstring and back of Kyon until he fires another Rolling Elbow, sending Kyon down in the mat while the fans were beginning to glamor on the debutant's skills.
"A spree of kicks and elbows shuts down Kyon and the fans here in Phoenix are in fascination with the Cautious Hero himself," Excalibur said as he picks Kyon up and lifts him with ease until he hits a Shining Arrow (Release Falcon Arrow) as he runs for a cover.

Kyon kicks out as Seiya did not show his frustration visibly but he felt he could be on the verge of one as he took a few seconds to climb back up on his foot by the ropes.
"A Falcon Arrow by Seiya but with its release, it could have cost him the match with the way he slams Kyon into the mat with that move, so maybe he felt some sort of frustration out there but he seems calm about this." Corey analyzed the situation as Seiya picks Kyon's hair and whips him to the corner back first.
Seiya runs toward Kyon as he squashes him with a Jumping Back Splash, following up with a Roundhouse Kick to the side of the head. The crowd began to cheer for Seiya, who noticed that he could win the match as he sends a heavy Kyon on the top turnbuckle in a sitting position. Seiya then grabs both arms of Kyon's and lifts him up in an Inverted Crucifix position and walks toward the center to flex his strength to the audience.
Seiya attempts to send him down with a Maximum Inferno (Inverted Crucifix Powerbomb), but Kyon was able to slip through the hands of Seiya as he turns him around to throw haymakers, flushing Seiya in the face, much to the jeers of the fans. Kyon then follows up with a Lariat, sending Seiya flat on his back at the canvas as he went for a Back Press to call for a pin.

Seiya kicks out, causing both Haruhi and Kyon to be shocked at the kickout while the fans were starting to chant the newcomer's name continuously.
"I didn't even know this hero is a tough nut to crack and Kyon's face says it all! Seiya has an incredible resiliency!" Shun exclaimed as Haruhi begins to bark orders over Kyon to end the match as the big man nodded.
"Haruhi Suzumiya is sending orders to Kyon and wants to end this match, once in for all, and grab that opportunity of becoming one of the challengers to the AVW Infinity Championship!" Excalibur added as Kyon grabs the throat of Seiya, who tries to attempt his Alienated (Sitout Chokeslam) but shockingly Seiya fought off Kyon when he also grabs the throat of Kyon, where the crowd was wild at the response of Seiya.
"Wow! Seiya can keep up the pace with Kyon and he has the gall to grab that throat of Kyon! This is unbelievable!" Corey said in astonishment when Seiya hits a headbutt, forcing Kyon to grab his head as he releases him from his hand.
Seiya added more throws when he hits Kyon with a few forearm shots to the face as he went to the ropes. Kyon tried to intercept Seiya with a Clothesline but the latter ducked as he went to the other ropes, steps up on the middle rope, and hits a Springboard Somersault Senton, sending Kyon down while the crowd began to be wild when he instantly picks up Kyon and tried his best efforts to lift him up.
When he successfully lifts him up in a Crucifix position, he walks into the middle of the ring to hoist Kyon up higher as he hits Hell's Fire (Razor's Edge), sending Kyon back down in the canvas.
When he tries to make a cover, Haruhi Suzumiya jumps to the apron to shout at Seiya, who completely ignores the reproach of Haruhu, as the referee reprimands the president of the brigade to get out of the apron. After a few seconds, Haruhi jumps off the apron, raising her hands up. After the distraction, the referee begins to count.

Kyon's shoulder was up as Seiya's eyes widened with the crowd booing for Haruhi, who mocks the crowd fully.
"Oh, man! Haruhi being a useful asset to Kyon to save the match for him! How sweet of her…" Shun said sarcastically.
"Yep! Definitely a sweet nod to help your colleague, ain't it, Kaido?" Corey asked Kaido, who did not completely ignores the question. While Haruhi jeers at the crowd for cheering a newbie, from out of nowhere, Seiya rolls out of the ring in pain as he confronts Haruhi, who looks like she has seen a ghost. The referee then begins to count.
But before Seiya could do something to her, Ristarte unexpectedly showed up on the ringside area to pounce Haruhi, who got launched until she landed on her sides to the floor as the crowd cheered for the arrival of the interviewer, much to the confusion of Seiya.
"Wait a minute! It's Ristarte, she's here! But what is she doing here?!" Excalibur asked as Ristarte confronts Seiya and told him to go back into the ring.
"An interviewer should not even be in the ringside area to attack someone! This should merit her a pink slip or something!" Corey complained as Seiya took his time to think about the request of hers.
"But oh man, seeing Haruhi getting whooped by someone inexperienced is a sight to behold! But you're right, Corey, she is not a wrestler or a manager, she should go back backstage but I think she intercepts a possible physical contact by Seiya to Haruhi or she might have even the odds in the match, but either way, the match is still going on!" Shun shared his answer to his commentary colleague as Seiya nonchalantly climbs up slowly to the apron as Ristarte continues to say that he should go back and focus.
When Seiya turns around, he was met by an angry Kyon, who grabs his throat and sends him back inside with an Alienated (Sitout Chokeslam) as the crowd booed on Kyon when he went fora cover with both legs hooked.

Seiya kicks out, sending the fans back in joy and Kyon in frustration when he pounds the mat angrily.
"Seiya almost paid the price of being distracted with Alienated from Kyon! But the match continues though!" Shun exclaimed as Kyon immediately grabs the throat of Seiya, attempting for another Chokeslam.
Seiya surprisingly has signs of life when he fires back with multiple Elbow Shots to the face, releasing him from the choke. Seiya then fires a Lightning Strike (Jumping Corkscrew Roundhouse Kick) to the side of the head of Kyon as the crowd cheered when Seiya grabs a fallen Kyon in his hands.
Seiya then picks Kyon on his shoulder and grabs both arms and finally hits Maximum Inferno (Inverted Crucifix Powerbomb), sending Kyon's back crashing to the canvas as he shouts in pain and went for the cover.
"There it is! Maximum Inferno! Seiya got Kyon this time and goes for the cover!" Excalibur shouted.

All of a sudden, Ristarte went onto the apron to prematurely congratulate Seiya and this caused the referee to scold her while the hero watches in confusion.
"Hey! Wait a minute! What the heck is Ristarte doing?! Seiya had the match won by the palm of his hands!" Shun complained.
"Now, Seiya has to stop Ristarte from interjecting herself, she's not even a manager herself!" Corey exclaimed.
Seiya tries to intervene in the conversation of the referee and Ristarte but before he could reach them to stop the dispute, from out of nowhere, Sakuta Azusagawa enters the ring and hits a massive Spear on Seiya, proverbially cutting Seiya's body in half as the crowd booed when he exits again back to the fans' area with a smirk.
"It's Sakuta! Sakuta Azusagawa with a Spear to Seiya! He certainly did not forget the warning from Seiya before!" Excalibur said as Ristarte backs off from the apron as the referee sees Kyon crawling for the cover on Seiya's prone body and begins to count.

The bell rang in succession as the crowd began to boo when Kyon's music hit while Ristarte was late to realize that Seiya did not win the match as she rolls inside the ring to consult him.
"Here is your winner, Kyon!" Mai Sakurajima announced the victor as Kyon rolls out of the ring and woke Haruhi up from the floor.
"Ristarte just cost Seiya an opportunity at Battle Chronicle! With Kyon winning the match, he has been added to the Ladder Match for the AVW Infinity Championship!" Excalibur stated as Ristarte shook Seiya until he woke up, realizing that the match is over and he lost the match, he stares menacingly at her, causing for Ristarte to be confused while both Haruhi and Kyon were left chuckling on the ramp at the accident caused by the interviewer despite getting hurt.
"See what happens when some non-wrestlers try to interject themselves? They cost someone the match and Ristarte paid the price dearly by accidentally distracting the referee with her antics! If it wasn't for her, Seiya could advance to the Ladder Match but she pays dividends to Kyon and Sakuta instead!" Corey added as Ristarte begins to realize the current situation as Seiya stood up on his own despite getting hurt while Rista begins to apologize to Seiya, who looks her up and then walks out of her. "And look what she just did! Seiya is not trusting Ristarte anymore!"
The crowd was baffled by the whole situation as Ristarte was left alone in the ring as she grabs her head and pounds herself to the turnbuckle for making a big mistake.
"Now, what will happen to the relationship between Ristarte and Seiya?" Excalibur asked as Visha was in the backstage area for another interview from someone.
Backstage Area
"Since Ristarte is currently on the ring right now, I'm currently doing another interview on her behalf. So, without further ado, let's welcome Raphtalia and Filo!" Visha introduced the odd duo of a tanuki warrior and a small child, who turns out to be more athletic than everyone thought. "Now, obviously without Naofumi on your side as he is focused on his match for tonight, what's next for you both?"
"Well, I can't think of a perfect time to have at least a match of some sort with me and Filo, here, who really appreciated the fact that she earned a contract last week. That night, she will never-ever forget the moment that she was in the ring. But now, the real struggle begins here because we need someone who can challenge us." Raphtalia answered as Visha was supposed to add another question but was interrupted by both Fire and Darkness (Megumin and Darkness), earning boos in the background.
"Well, well, well, look who just arrived… a generic warrior and a…" Megumin paused as she sights Filo, who looked confused as she is. "…and a small girl, who tries to be the main attraction of their team. You know I have seen this before, right?" She then asked Darkness, who nodded.
"Uhmm…" Raphtalia spoke up as Visha passes the microphone to her. "Are you referring to us… or are you referring to yourselves?"
"W-Wait… excuse me?!" Megumin starts to whine as Darkness tries to calm her down. "No, we're talking about you! You fit the bell, alright! But we do not because you both look like one!"
Both Raphtalia and Filo looked at each other and shrugged off the chastise of the fire wizard as Raphtalia spoke up again.
"Well, you're right about that. But the only difference that we have both is that last week, we won the match and while the both of you, did not! And the fact that you didn't win those Tag Team Championships is a shame! I thought we would be seeing a generic warrior and a small girl winning it but I guess it's not just happening, huh?"
Megumin's eyebrow begins to spasm as the crowd cooed in satisfaction when she becomes agitated by the fact that they lose last week but Darkness massages her shoulders to alleviate the frustrations that are growing in her.
"Hey! Your victory was just a fluke and those idiot knights can't even land a punch on you both because they're not prepared for your surprise! And hey, you know something… since we're not being called by those so-called Women's Tag Team Champions, we have some free time next week and we're challenging you to a tag team match! How is that for your exhibition match?" Megumin proposed a match to both Filo and Raphtalia.
"Ex… hibition?!" Darkness shouted, causing Megumin and others to recoil in fear as the crowd laughed in the background.
"Anyway…" Megumin continued. "Next week, we're going to show you that your victory was just pure luck and is only a fluke and you'll get an opportunity in competing in a genuine match, unlike last week!"
Raphtalia glared at Megumin but the expression gradually faded away as she smiled and nodded.
"Sure! Challenge accepted! But you're right, this is the perfect time for us to shine and beat you two. And if we beat you two, we could possibly have a title shot to those Women's Tag Team Championships somewhere—"
"Hey! That's not going to happen!" Megumin shouted.
All of a sudden, Filo climbs up over Raphtalia's head and hits a Karate Chop to the head of Megumin, where the crowd cooed in interest as Megumin aids at her head to rub it.
"Shut up, you small girl! Next week, we're gonna kick your butt!" Filo exclaimed to the cheers of the crowd.
Because she got hit, Megumin became enraged as she shouted and both Filo and Raphtalia realizes the situation, they both ran off the area as Megumin followed them, leaving Visha and Darkness.
"So… any further comments?" Visha asked a stupefied Darkness as she was grinning from ear to ear.
"Oh! An exhibition match? Sounds interesting to me… hehehe…" Darkness lustfully replied. "Hearing that makes me wanna—"
"You might wanna follow Megumin, who is chasing both Raphtalia and Filo!" Visha interrupted Darkness' weird fantasy declaration.
Darkness' eyes widened as she heard the news and shook her head to focus herself.
"Where is she?!" She asked as Visha gestured to her right as Darkness nodded and followed the tracks of her partner, leaving Visha alone with her scratching her head in confusion.
"Did Darkness hear the word 'exhibition' from another perspective?" Corey asked his fellow commentators, who tried not to chuckle at the current situation.
"I-I don't even know what the hell is going through Darkness' mind when she thinks about the 'exhibition match'," Shun commented.
"Man, I hope she doesn't do what I'm expecting to see her do next because… oh, man, what will happen if our broadcasting partner sends an order to the management," Excalibur added and wished. The camera then focuses on the ring, where a man was present on the ring, who was waiting for the arrival of his opponent.
"The following match is set for one fall and with a 30-minute time limit. Introducing first, from the city of Chiba, Japan – Kyosuke Kousaka!" Mai Sakurajima announced as the new individual clapped for himself with a so-so reaction from the fans.
("Demi Gods (feat. Slim Jim" by Lab Ratz) played in the arena as another new individual entered from the Tron and gestured, raising his palms and gestured ala-AJ Styles and striking his hands down on the floor, followed by extending his whole arm to the crowd, in which they responded on a positive note.
"And his opponent, from Aincrad, Kirito!" Mai Sakurajima announced the second player of the match and went on to shake hands with nearby people beside him.
"If you've seen his gesture, it's a nod of appreciation and gratitude to one of the best wrestlers in the world, AJ Styles!" Excalibur stated as Kirito enters the ring, meeting eye-to-eye with Kyosuke.
"You're right, Excalibur. Although he recognizes The Phenomenal One's wonderful talent in the ring, we'll have to see where Kirito stands out first." Corey added as the referee told the competitors to shake hands, with the nod occurring and shaking hands.
"There you see, a show of sportsmanship between two new rookies and they are looking for some kind of accentuation on their careers," Shun commented on the gesture between the two as the referee signals for the timekeeper to ring the bell as it did.
The two began with a quick tie-up and ended up in a Waistlock by Kyosuke on Kirito who tries to fight off with an elbow shot to the face as it did hit on Kyosuke's face, who tries to ease his cheek as Kirito wraps Kyosuke's head with his Side Headlock but Kyosuke sends Kirito to the ropes but ended up costing him with Kirito knocks him down with a Shoulder Block, sending Kyosuke down.
Kirito went to the other ropes as Kyosuke rolls on his stomach with the former hopping above the latter. Kirito went to the other side of the ropes as Kyosuke stands up to knock Kirito down with a Shoulder Block of his own. Kyosuke also went bouncing to the other ropes as Kirito leaps above a running Kyosuke, who went to the other side of the ropes only for him to be caught in the face with a Dropkick, sending Kyosuke down to the mat while the crowd applauded the sequence.
"Sick Dropkick by Kirito! This kid got some elevation right there!" Shun complimented as Kirito grabs the head of Kyosuke and sends him to a seated position with a Snapmare Takedown. Kirito then bounces to the ropes and hits right in the face with a Basement Forearm Smash.
"Just like AJ Styles, Kirito utilizes his forearm to take down his opponent, just like that!" Corey exclaimed as Kirito quickly covers Kyosuke.

Kyosuke kicks out as Kirito took a deep breath and went over to the ropes to interact with the fans when he widens his arm to a decent reception.
"Kirito is taking his time to send his regards to our fans here in Phoenix but he has to concentrate on the match because it might cost him a victory here," Excalibur commented over Kirito's actions.
Because of this, Kyosuke quickly took advantage of the situation as he surprises Kirito with a roll-up.

Kyosuke made a run toward Kirito but an elbow from the latter halts the momentum of the former. Kirito then decides to climb up to the middle turnbuckle and backflips behind Kyosuke and hits an awe-inspiring Deadly DDT (Stylin' DDT), knocking out Kyosuke to the mat.
"Wow! Impressive Moonsault into a Reverse DDT from Kiritio, he definitely took some page out of The Phenomenal One's playbook!" Excalibur praises Kirito's prowess as he picks up Kyosuke and extends his arms again, signaling for the end as he tries to attempt a Vorpal Strike (Styles Clash) but Kyosuke was able to counter with a surprise Jackknife Pin.

But all of a sudden, Kirito treats Kyosuke with a surprise Pele Kick, stunning Kyosuke in the process. Kirito shook off his cobwebs and grabs Kyosuke and raises his whole body and traps the arms with the use of his legs as he hits a Vorpal Strike (Styles Clash), flattening Kyosuke.
"Styles Clash! Or Kirito likes to call it the Vorpal Strike! And he rolls him on his back!" Excalibur said as Kirito went on for a cover after rolling the body of Kyosuke on his back.

The bell rang in succession as the crowd applauded heavily for the match as Kirito's arm was raised by the referee despite his back being in pain while Kyosuke rolls out of the ring to recover himself.
"Here is your winner, Kirito!" Mai Sakurajima announced the victor, who clutches his lower back but this did not deter him to walk out of his own from the ring.
"Impressive victory by Kirito on his debut! And so far, he's a spectacular talent that probably we should look out for!" Excalibur exclaimed as Kirito took his time to meet his fists to the nearby fans.
"Even though in defeat, let's not forget to give credit to Kyosuke Kousaka for his efforts though. He at least tried and make the match end in a sudden but Kirito ended up prevailing." Corey added.
Backstage Area - Locker Room
In the locker room, the crowd cheered when the AVW World Champion Izuku Midoriya appeared on the camera and was in his locker, looking for something inside; however, he felt a presence behind him. When he turned around, he was surprised to see his colleague, Ochako Uraraka, who was sheepishly gazing at him.
"Oi, Ochako, it's been a few weeks since we met. How are you?" He asked her.
"I-I'm fine, Deku, thank you," Ochako replied nervously but automatically mans up when she stood straight in front of Izuku. "Hey, uhhh, good luck on your match tonight!"
"Th-thanks, Ochako. I appreciate it…" Izuku replied quickly but thought of another question for her. "So, what do you need?"
"Uh-uhmm… so, both Bakugo and Todoroki wouldn't be here tonight and I thought of visiting them sometime this week and maybe, I could need your assistance." Ochako then requested an important one from the champion, who automatically nodded.
"Of course!" Izuku chuckled and patted the shoulder of Ochako. "I would love to go and see them. After I watched their match against SOS Brigade, man, I didn't know they have capable of pulling off such great effort!"
"Right…" Ochako muttered but suddenly lit up. "Oh! By the way, the reason I'm asking you for assistance is to… maybe… the brigade will ambush me somewhere around. I tell you, next week, me, Todoroki and Bakugo will confront them but there's no assurance that I could be in a helping zone!"
"Ah… so that's what is all about? Sure! Remember, we kicked their asses way back on the first episode of Elevation! So, there's no doubt that you can also kick their leader's ass! Was it Harumi… Haruhi… or something like that! But I know you can do it! Confront her like the warrior that you are!" Izuku sends a real, convincing motivational speech to Ochako, whose face got flushed at this response but she went to nod anyway.
"Th-thank you, Deku! That made me feel well!" Ochako bowed her head against Izuku, who smiles at her as the camera pans back to the commentary table.
"It's been a while since we've seen Ochako Uraraka here in Elevation and as for next week, she and the team of Katsuki Bakugo and Shoto Todoroki will confront the SOS Brigade! Their business has been left unsettled and we'll see how their business is going to pick up!" Shun announced.
"And speaking of which, Battle Chronicle is 3 weeks away from now and while we couldn't resist treating you to the pay-per-view, we are happy to announce that the Elevation after Battle Chronicle – Battle Chronicle: Addendum will be held at Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas on March 30! It will feature superstars and mostly, because we love you guys and therefore, there will be plenty of surprises will be in place on that night! More information will be released in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned for more updates!" Excalibur announced a piece of special news to everyone.
"Now that's a treat that most of us could not wait to savor, in a figurative sense that is!" Corey replied.
("Down in Ashes" by Awake) was played in the background as the crowd cheered for the arrival of one Rimuru Tempest, who gestured a camera with his hands, capturing the whole arena and running towards the ring.
"This is a singles match scheduled for one fall, with a time limit of 30 minutes. Introducing first, from the Jura Tempest Federation, Rimuru Tempest!" Mai Sakurajima announced as he raises himself to the turnbuckles and beckons everyone to cheer for him and obliged dearly.
"This is going to be a rematch but with much higher stakes up for grabs with an opportunity for the AVW Infinity Championship at Battle Chronicle on the line!" Shun stated the ramifications of the match.
"I applaud Rimuru for stepping up, making a risk, and deciding to put his title opportunity on the line against his familiar foe, Kazuma Sato!" Corey added as Rimuru jumps down and stretches his body out for a while as he waits for his opponent to show up.
("When I Grow Up" by Mayday Parade) played in the arena as the crowd began to boo when the adventurer appeared at the entranceway.
"And his opponent, from the Kingdom of Belzerg, Kazuma Sato!" Mai Sakurajima announced as the adventurer jeers the nearest fans and told them that he got Rimuru's number on his hand with the fans booed them in front of him but he couldn't care less.
"Meanwhile, Kazuma on the other hand is winless, so far, in AVW, adding to the implications that if he wins, not only he could grab that opportunity at Battle Chronicle but to grab his first victory! And that's a great wager for him and for Rimuru too!" Excalibur exclaimed as Kazuma enters to meet Rimuru, glaring at him with the intention of wanting to take him down quick.
"And look over at Kazuma, he really is desperate on taking out Rimuru right away!" Shun observed the mannerisms of Kazuma while Rimuru was happy to serve on beating Kazuma again.
The referee looks at both individuals as he signals the timekeeper to ring the bell. Once the bell has rung, Rimuru surprises Kazuma when he runs over him but Kazuma picks Rimuru in a Fireman's Carry position, attempting to end the match already with Chunchunmaru (Samoan Driver) but Rimuru saw this coming and counters it with a Japanese Arm Drag.
Rimuru hastily climbs up to the top as he sights a now-standing Kazuma, attempting to hit his Chaos Tempester (Eclipse) on Kazuma, who instinctively went rolling to the outside, causing the fans to boo the adventurer.
"Both men went all out with their finishing maneuvers but both have them well-scouted each other!" Excalibur said as Kazuma cockily taunts the audience on the barricade that he used his brain to deceive them.
However, Rimuru was still on top and when Kazuma turns around, he decides to take a chance and hits a Diving Crossbody on Kazuma as the fans cheered for Rimuru, who came back up to interact with them.
"And right off the bat, Rimuru dives to the outside and he seems to know Kazuma's number as well," Corey said as Rimuru sends Kazuma back to the ring and he went back inside as well to cover Kazuma.

Rimuru kicks out again as Kazuma grounds him with a Chin Lock, causing the crowd to boo Kazuma, who shouts at them to shut up.
"Kazuma being able to shut up the fans here in Phoenix and eventually holding the submission on his opponent to be shut down could be a poetic justice ending for Kazuma and his opportunity for the AVW Infinity Championship match could be on the horizon if Rimuru submits on this one," Corey observed as Rimuru finally squirms as to look on to the ropes.
"After that huge Clothesline, Kazuma is wisely locking his chin, which was nearby from the jaw that took Rimuru down in the canvas," Excalibur added.
"Rimuru is showing signs of life here and I think he is looking for an escape from the hold," Shun added as Rimuru begins to move by pulling himself from Kazuma while the submission was intact.
The crowd began to chant Rimuru's name as he was a few inches away from the bottom rope. After his foot touch the bottom rope, the referee scolds Kazuma to release Rimuru, whose fans were roaring after the rope break, causing the adventurer to annoyingly let go of the hold.
The annoyed Kazuma did not waste time as he grabs Rimuru by the hair and lifts him up in the air to hit a Vertical Suplex, sending Rimuru's back in pain. Kazuma took his time to chastise the fans, who send their thumbs down to them while the adventurer smirks when he bounces to the ropes to hit a Knee Drop to Rimuru and went for a cover.

Kazuma kicks out as Rimuru was smirking and told Kazuma to stay down or he will feel the defeat again.
"Rimuru is sensing his arrogant side now, this is quite odd for him to be this confident… And I can see why he is showing this, he is going on the top to end this in a quick fashion!" Corey observed Rimuru, who climbs up to the top, waiting for Kazuma to get back up.
"You're right, Corey, he is looking for that Chaos Tempester that gave him the victory against Kazuma a few weeks ago." Excalibur concurred with Corey's statement.
When a few seconds passed, Kazuma slowly roses back up as Rimuru went for Chaos Tempester (Eclipse) but Kazuma awes everyone when he hits a Dropkick to the face of Rimuru, sending the blue-haired specie knocked down on the mat but Kazuma quickly picks his head and putting the salt to the wound when he spikes Rimuru with a DDT, causing for the fans to boo wildly on Kazuma, who went for the cover.

Rimuru's shoulder was up as Kazuma's shocked expression was as fast fading as he picks up Rimuru, sending him upright on a corner to take a few shots in his face.
"This just turned ugly after a second from that beautiful Dropkick into a grimacing DDT by Kazuma and unsurprisingly, Rimuru's instinct was still on the hold to continue the match," Corey said as the crowd picked up their support on Rimuru while Kazuma was beating him to a pulp but the referee said that it was too much as he uses himself to distance both opponents.
"Good awareness by the referee, holding Kazuma for a bit to separate him against Rimuru but it wouldn't last anyway, so Rimuru has to recover as fast as Kazuma is going to beat him," Shun added as Kazuma went on to grab Rimuru and sends him in a sitting position at the top turnbuckle while he followed suit there.
Kazuma went on to beat Rimuru on the top with packed punches, sending the crowd into jeers over him. When he realized that Rimuru couldn't respond, he smirked and lifts an arm of Rimuru, attempting for a Superplex. But somehow, before he could lift him up, Rimuru surprisingly fights off Kazuma as he targets the ribs of Kazuma with his punches to a positive reaction from the crowd.
"I-I don't know exactly Rimuru gained consciousness after those hard-hitting blows, but it blows me away that he is still moving!" Shun exclaimed.
"Same sentiments there, Kaido, but being in a precarious position is what the last place I would expect for them to beat out each other!" Corey added as Rimuru then targets the face of Kazuma with punches, followed up by sending his face to the turnbuckle a few times.
"Kazuma is being knocked out this time by the force of the impact from the turnbuckle and Rimuru… he's standing on the top, what is he going to do?" Excalibur asked as if they were waiting for the Hail Mary to strike.
Rimuru interacted with the crowd, who cheered for him heavily as he leaped off Kazuma, attempting for a Sunset Flip Powerbomb; however, this time, Kazuma surprisingly woke up right before Rimuru could hit with full impact as he blocked the attempt by holding the ropes tightly to the jeers of the crowd.
Kazuma took advantage of the situation by kicking Rimuru's face a few times until the latter releases him as he was rubbing his face while Kazuma took his time to climb down on the apron. Rimuru attempts to fight back but Kazuma was one step ahead when he hits a boot on Rimuru, sending him back in a distance.
However, Rimuru bounces on the ropes and leaps off the top rope to send Kazuma off the apron with a Running Hurricanrana, both men hurting in the process, causing the fans to be caught off-guard by the sudden actions of Rimuru.
"OHHH! Incredible! A Hurricanrana off the apron sends both to the outside! That was amazing!" Excalibur shouted as the referee begins to count at the downed competitors.
"I thought Kazuma was one step ahead but Rimuru was three steps ahead with that Running Hurricanrana! But it might cost them the opportunity if both got counted out!" Corey commented.

"Rimuru Tempest with the Headscissors, he has been quite a spectacle since he came to this company and he is all fired up!" Excalibur exclaimed as Rimuru saw a standing Kazuma on the corner and hits a Running Uppercut on his face.

When he attempts a top rope move, Rimuru was able to roll through on landing when Kazuma instinctively sidesteps. When Rimuru attempts to run back at Kazuma, he dodges an upcoming Knee Strike from Kazuma as both men went to the ropes on both sides as the crowd was in awe when Rimuru strikes with a Power Plummet (Spanish Fly), where Rimuru instantly went for the pin.

Kazuma's shoulder was up immediately right before the third tap on the mat occurred, much to the shock of Rimuru and the crowd.
"Wow! A Running Spanish Fly from Rimuru, I believe! What a velocity to catch Kazuma in the air and the crowd did not like this decision from the referee's decision!" Excalibur said as the crowd chanted 'BS' loudly.
"As much as the crowd disagrees that the Power Plummet (Spanish Fly) could be a match-ender but the referee's decision still stands." Corey clarified the rules as Rimuru decides that this is the perfect time to send him out for good.
Rimuru took a few good shots to the face of Kazuma before he could send him carefully to a sitting position at the top turnbuckle with Rimuru following suit. Rimuru went precariously on the top rope as he sights the fans below, who were cheering for him, and decked Kazuma with his fists a few times.
Rimuru then attempts a Diving Hurricanrana but Kazuma miraculously recovered and grabs Rimuru's head and locks in a Hanging Rear Naked Choke, causing the fans to jeer on the adventurer as the referee begins to count before the count of 5 as he releases Rimuru from the hold, causing for him to land on the apron.
"A dangerous and illegal submission by Kazuma definitely saved him the match!" Shun said.
"It was quite effective as you can see on the face of Rimuru, who was all got beaten on the face before and the final shot would be the Rear Naked Choke like he was a hanging fruit," Corey said wisely as Kazuma adjusted himself and saw Rimuru standing on his own but slowly on the apron.
Kazuma then grabs Rimuru from the apron and attempts a Superplex from the apron, causing the crowd to stand as if they were expecting to see a Holy Superplex of all time but did not occur when Rimuru fights back to the shock of everyone with a few forearm shots.
"I do not believe my eyes, Rimuru is still fighting with all of his might, he is still giving signs of him, surviving this match but he needs to hit that piece de resistance of his!" Excalibur exclaimed as Rimuru stops when Kazuma stopped moving and was back in the sitting position initially.
"It looks like Kazuma is in a dangerous position, if Rimuru hits this, it would be a dream crusher for Kazuma!" Shun added.
When the coast is clear, Rimuru springboards from the apron to move to Kazuma but to the surprise of everyone, Kazuma suddenly grabs Rimuru's head and hits an Adventure Crusher (Cutter) off the second rope, to the awes of everyone, sending Rimuru on the canvas.
"OH, MY GOD! Speaking of crushers, Kazuma went all out with that Adventure Crusher (Cutter) from the second rope to Rimuru! Could this be the moment for Kazuma?!" Corey asked as Kazuma crawls for a cover as he put his hand on the chest of Rimuru.

"An outstanding performance from Rimuru Tempest, keeping his soul alive and that opportunity for the AVW Infinity Championship Ladder Match intact in an intense battle," Excalibur said as Kazuma rolls out of the ring with Rimuru climbing up on the middle rope to celebrate with the fans.
"You can also give credit to Kazuma, who put in an amazing display of strength and strategic moves to combat his foe but that was not enough for him to succeed in this match," Corey added.
"But what a match by these two, they delivered once again here in Elevation! Quite a spectacle, I would say!" Shun said as Rimuru rolls out of the ring to physically meet the nearest fans beside the barricade.
Backstage Area
The camera spotted Naofumi Iwatani, extending his arms and doing his exercises on his forearm to the cheers of the crowd.
"Hey, look, it's the 'Shield Hero' Naofumi Iwatani, who is looking to claim a big gold in the form of the AVW World Championship and will be in action against the champion, Izuku Midoriya, later tonight in the main event!" Shun said as the camera then went focused on the AVW Women's Champion Rin Tohsaka, who was supposed to leave the arena right before Chika Fujiwara interrupted her departure.
"Hi, champ! Can you leave a few seconds for me to give thoughts on the question that I will be asking you, is that okay for you?" Chika asked the champion, who nodded instantly.
"Sure, go ahead." Rin simply replied.
"I don't know if you haven't noticed this but earlier tonight, your partner, Rei Ayanami was looking at your championship belt without your knowledge and this presses me to the question that… are you willing to challenge her for the Women's Championship?" Chika asked in a confused Rin, but Chika talked more and clarified. "We'll show the moment that Rei was staring at your championship belt."
The screen shows the perfect moment when Rei Ayanami was heavily staring at Rin's Women's World Championship belt while Rin was sending a message to Ami Kawashima until it went back to the interview.
"Any answers?"
Rin simply laughed it off and pat Chika's shoulder, much to the fear of the interviewer.
"Okay, I get it. My back's exposed, it's been a target by everyone in the women's locker room. But since Rei is not as bad as Asuka and Ami, I should consider him as an athlete on par with myself but a future title match for her? We'll see about that. But I have something to offer to Rei, maybe another challenge for her, I guess? So, for next week, Rei Ayanami will face someone of my choosing, not Ami Kawashima or that coward Asuka Langley Soryu! And we will see if she could change my mind." Rin answered bluntly. Chika then processed the whole answer and nodded in understanding. "Well? Is that it? Did I answer the question?"
"Uh, yes." Chika simply said as Rin nodded and walked out of Chika's sight as the camera focuses on the commentary team.
"Looks like Rei Ayanami will be on another test when the AVW Women's World Champion Rin Tohsaka will be choosing her opponent next week!" Corey reiterated the announcement. "Wonder who will it be?"
"As long as it's not both their foes, Asuka Langley Soryu and Ami Kawashima, then it would be interesting on who will give that blessing from the champion herself!" Shun said.
Backstage Area
All of a sudden, the camera changes its place into the backstage area where a scuffle was currently happening in the storage area, where a newcomer Touma Kamijou was assaulted by also a newcomer Sousuke Sagara as the latter throws the former through the production crates. Because of this, both their partners' Kaname Chidori and Mikoto Misaka aided their counterparts in stopping the mess while the referees and a few medical personnel went to the downed Touma.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing?!" Kaname asked her partner.
"If she sees you as your enemy, then he's mine too…" Sousuke nonchalantly answered, heavily breathing after the assault, making Kaname mutter 'What?' in disbelief
"Hey, you jerks! They're supposed to have a match next then that lunatic came out of nowhere and beat Touma!" Mikoto shouted at them, evidently fuming over the foe's counterpart's actions. "I don't know what's up with you two but I was right, you're the birds of a feather that flock together! You share the same idea and the same goal, your thinking is ridiculous and your actions make me sick!" Mikoto poked the shoulder of Kaname aggressively as Kaname attempts to respond but was cut off by Mikoto.
"And before you say anything, I know what you're going to say, we'll settle it next week…" Mikoto paused and tucked her head as if she was reluctant to continue but when her fists tightened, her head went back up. "…you and me, Mikoto Misaka and Kaname Chidori… one more ti—"
All of a sudden, she was then cut off by a hand, which was held by the arm of Mikoto, who was shocked to look to her right when Touma rose up on his own despite getting reprimanded by the medical staff and the referees while holding his cheeks.
"T-Touma, what are you—"
"No-no-no-no… that's not gonna happen when I'm here…" Touma said faintly and was pulled by Mikoto, who couldn't ponder on what he was trying to say. Touma then valiantly faces their adversaries. "Listen, I hear what Mikoto has been saying but… you two, you should get both take a punch to the face and face the reality, you're not facing some opponents but you're facing enemies."
Then, as if they were connecting spiritually, both Mikoto and Touma took a step and faced both Kaname and Sousuke respectively, and glared at them.
"Next week, us both versus you both and we will be the ones who will expose what you really are. Right after we defeat you, you'll just be a shell of your former selves and no one will recognize your presence and no one will ever notice you." Touma ended his statement and was staring a hole into them.
With an unreadable face, Kaname, on their behalf, replied with a wide smirk and a bloodlust glare at them.
"You're both delusional with your claims. But you're on, we're going to shut down those blabbering mouths of yours."
Both teams glared at one another as if they have malicious intent hiding behind their proverbial bags. Then, the camera transitions back to the audience, who was cooing in interest after the confrontation.
"Wow… so their match for tonight is shelved and then we're going for an all-out tag team match next week? Man, what a big change from that confrontation!" Shun exclaimed in excitement.
"By this past week and a few minutes ago, the intensity scale between these two teams gets picked up and it's definitely going to be a smash-mouth when their fists met with one another!" Corey added.
"Well, as you may know, just announced to us right now by our General Manager Kokomi Teruhashi, this match will indeed take place next week! Mikoto Misaka and Touma Kamijou laid out the challenge against Kaname Chidori and Sousuke Sagara! Plus, let's not forget that another qualifying match for the AVW Infinity Championship Ladder Match at Battle Chronicle will take place next week and as per the opponents, we're possibly leaving tonight with a mystery but we will keep you updated as soon as the news can come out." Excalibur take down the next week's matches and continued.
"And for the women's side of things, Filo and Raphtalia will compete in their first-ever Women's Tag Team Match against Fire and Darkness – Megumin and Darkness! Plus, the AVW Women's Tag Team Championships will be on the line as Team Stratos will defend the titles against a mystery team that we surely know that it will have to do something with the Kill la Familia's past, and the Kill la Familia will have their free pass and will watch the match itself!"
"Let's also not forget about Ochako Uraraka and the gang, Katsuki Bakugo, and Shoto Todoroki will confront the SOS Brigade next week, and their unsettled business will pick up from there. Then, a challenge has been laid out by the AVW Women's World Champion Rin Tohsaka over Rei Ayanami as she will handpick who will she be facing. All of that for next week in Sacramento's Golden 1 Center!" Corey ended the hyping portion of the show.
("RISE" by MADKID) played in the background as the Shield Hero appeared at the entrance, followed by both Raphtalia and Filo, who were clapping for their master with the crowd also cheering for him. He crossed his shield-geared arm and knelt on the ramp as he then stood up with his shield raised to the sky, causing the pyro to go off beside him.
Right before Naofumi could proceed to the ring, both Raphtalia and Filo send them a message of good luck before they could leave the entrance to backstage.
"It's already time for the Main Event and look at Naofumi, his precious team sends him good luck and what could possibly be the biggest match of his career!" Shun stated as Naofumi ignored the fans' cheers in between him as he climbs up the stairs and stares at the fans.
"Battle-focused and pretty confident in himself, after getting this opportunity from The Knights of The Monarchy last week, Naofumi Iwatani looks on to end this arc by winning the most coveted prize in the company – AVW World Championship!" Excalibur added as Naofumi enters and climbs up to the turnbuckles to raise his shield to the delight of the fans.
"We would have loved to see the story end but the plot always has these hurdles along the way, so, with the right technique and strategy, this might happen!" Corey said as Naofumi removed the shield from his arm and was jumping as if he was ready to engage in a battle. "He is waiting and so are we, as we wait for the arrival of the champion."
("Faster" by There For Tomorrow) was played in the arena where smoke began to fill up the ramp, where the World Champion appeared behind to a boisterous reception and raises the title up until he stares the whole fans in his view. He then proceeds to walk across the ramp and give the fans some fist-bumps while Naofumi waits for his arrival inside.
"You couldn't get this type of reception always but if it ever happens, man, it is mind-blowing! The AVW World Champion is making his time on his way to the ring. It is a matter of respect when we've seen him in the past but when that ring bells, it's going to be a different story." Excalibur said.
"You're right, Excalibur. They've got mutual and healthy respect and Naofumi, couldn't quite forget what had transpired back at Winter Warfare and rightfully, he deservingly got what he wanted and he is in the right spot but he's got nothing to lose here." Corey added as Izuku slides underneath the bottom rope to climb up to the top rope and raise the belt once more.
"I could not wait any longer and both of them are now in the ring. I think this would be the perfect time to introduce them. Sakurajima-san, take it away!" Shun called on to the announcer and she nodded as if she heard the cue.
""Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for the main event! The following match is for the AVW World Championship! With a 30-minute time limit, introducing first, the challenger, he is 'The Shield Hero' Naofumi Iwatani!" Mai Sakurajima announced as the hero raised his arm in the air with a positive reaction.
"And his opponent, representing Class 1-A, he is the AVW World Champion, Izuku Midoriya!" Mai Sakurajima announced as the champion raised his belt to the approval of the crowd, with a much stronger reception than Naofumi's.
"It is here and it is time. The AVW World Championship will be defended here tonight in Phoenix against Naofumi Iwatani and the crowd is in anticipation here and it is palpable!" Shun exclaimed as Izuku gave the belt to the referee and raised it high in the middle of the ring.
After the belt-raising ceremony, the referee asked the competitors if they are ready and both of them nodded as the referee signals for the timekeeper to ring the bell. When the bell chimed, both Izuku and Naofumi stared as if they were in battle mode with the crowd chanting their names in the background.
"Their intensity in their eyes tells us the story of what's at stake here!" Excalibur said as both kept their menacing glares on each other as they began beating each other but verbally.
Naofumi said that this is his time to become the champion while Izuku says to bring it and start taking a shot.
"We're starting the match right now and we're not even in the battle phase but these guys are throwing bombs already with some verbal assaults," Corey said in amazement as the match took off when both men exchanged punches. "Look at them going, throwing out their haymakers right off the bat!"
After a grueling exchange, Izuku prevailed and he whips Naofumi to the ropes as the Shield Hero leaps over a downed Izuku and went to the other side of the ropes with Izuku leapfrogging above a running Naofumi.
Naofumi stopped when Izuku landed after the leapfrog as he takes him down with a Headlock Takeover but Izuku shoves Naofumi's face and counters it with Headscissors, only for Naofumi to kick out immediately. With both men standing up, Izuku took his turn on grabbing Naofumi and sends him to the mat with a Headlock Takeover with Naofumi also countered with Headscissors, unsurprisingly, Izuku also kicked out of the hold, causing both of them to stand up to the delight of the crowd.
"A tit for tat, an exchange after an exchange, they worked so pretty well as if they've known each other and we will see who can capitalize on someone's error here," Shun said as both men went for a tie-up, which was ultimately won by Naofumi as he sends Izuku to a corner. "And no questions asked, Naofumi is getting the upper hand with his strength advantage!"
"It's a no-brainer for you to observe it, Kaido." Corey sarcastically replied to Shun as Naofumi went for a Knife Edge Chop to Izuku, who ducks the attempt and as he is the one to take the chop onto Naofumi's chest. "And this one either as well, the speed and agility of the champion are showing here in the match."
Izuku fires up Naofumi's chest with a few chops until he stopped and climbed up but Naofumi catches him off-guard, attempting for a Side Slam but Izuku impressively counters with an Arm Drag. Izuku then tried a Superkick on Naofumi but backed off out of instinct as he saw the boot with the crowd applauding them.
"Counter after counter to their moves, it is quite academic for these two men to show to the world what they are capable of," Excalibur said as Naofumi attempts to sneak up on Izuku, who was beside the ropes as he tries to launch at him only for the champion to low-bridge the top rope, sending the Shield Hero out of the ring to the apron. "Midoriya saw it a mile away and takes out but Naofumi was luckily able to land himself on the apron."
Naofumi tries to score an offense on Izuku but the latter's offense was flashy as he did not see a Roundhouse Kick from the champion. The champion then jumps to the middle turnbuckle and hits a Triangle Dropkick, sending Naofumi down on the floor. The crowd cheered when Izuku interacted with them and told them that he is going to fly as he began to build speed, bouncing on the ropes and delivering a Suicide Dive but Naofumi dodged out of harm's way.
When Izuku notice that his opponent was gone, he turns to his left and was met with a Forearm Shot by Naofumi. Naofumi then kicks Izuku's gut and carried him in a Fireman's style, attempting a big move; however, Izuku was able to shift his weight and moved Naofumi nearby the apron as he safely landed there. Naofumi saw Izuku on the apron as he tries to follow him, only for Izuku to kick him in the chest with a PK.
"Wow! His speed, agility, and awareness are what made him a champion right now. Izuku is all over the place with his offense and counters!" Corey said in amazement as he sights Izuku moving backward further as he makes a run off the apron to send Naofumi for a ride with a Hurricanrana, sending Naofumi to the barricade face-first, which the crowd loved the offense. "Hurricanrana to the barricade and out goes Naofumi face-first!"
Izuku then decides to grab Naofumi and send him right back inside the ring, also enters back to make the first pin attempt.

Naofumi kicks out as Izuku went on to make a few shots at his face.
Izuku then picks up Naofumi and whips him to the corner. The champion charges to the challenger but the latter raised up his boot to stop his momentum as it hit the face of the former. Naofumi then jumps back to the second rope and hits a Diving Uppercut on the jaw of Izuku, he follows up with a Jumping Leg Drop across the throat of the champion and adds up another Leg Drop but this time it hit the arm of Izuku, causing the champion to scream in pain.
The match took a turn when Naofumi wraps an arm of Izuku and falls back, locking in the Short-Arm Scissors with now the other arm of Izuku, also wrapped under the arms of Naofumi.
"Impressive display of technical prowess coming from Naofumi with that Short-Arm Scissors!" Excalibur exclaimed as the crowd lightly applauded for this showing from the Shield Hero.
After a few seconds, Izuku fights off the submission when his other arm lets go and takes a shot with his elbow on the leg of Naofumi, causing the submission to be released. But the other arm of Izuku did not let go of the arm of Naofumi as he wrings that arm and sends Naofumi back down with a Back Heel Trip.
Izuku then attempted a Standing Moonsault but Naofumi was able to roll under Izuku. When Naofumi got backed up, he kneed Izuku on the gut and went to the ropes but then Izuku counters with a kick to his stomach as Izuku went to the ropes this time. Unfortunately, Naofumi catches Izuku and sends him for a ride in the air with a Back Body Drop, smashing the back of Izuku, causing him to roll outside to take a breather while the crowd was in awe.
"My goodness! The airtime from that is impressive and painful at the same time and this made the champion uncharacteristically roll over to the outside." Shun stated as Naofumi followed Izuku on the outside, sighting Izuku on the barricade as he makes a run for it and hits a Running Uppercut, sending the champion over the barricade and to the audience with the crowd cheering.
"Massive uppercut by The Shield Hero and just got sent to the fans nearby!" Excalibur shouted in surprise before the referee began counting both of them. "And remember, there's a count-out rule in this match and Naofumi could better send the champion back to make the title change in his favor."
Naofumi then grabs the backed-up Izuku and this time, tosses him back to the ringside area with a thud, sending awes again from the fans and Izuku's back into a world of pain while the referee was at 5 count.
"Oh, my God! I could actually hear the bone interacting with the floor outside, that was gnarly!" Corey said in bewilderment as Naofumi took his time to pick up the hurt Izuku and drives his back to the apron with Shoulder Tackles.
Naofumi took a few good shots to the face of Izuku right before the referee raised the tenth finger in the air as he followed Izuku back inside, where he pins the champion.

Izuku kicks out as Naofumi instantly picked him up and whips him to the corner.
Naofumi runs towards Izuku and hits a Running Clothesline and several Forearm Shots to the face until the referee scolds him to stop the attack as he raised his hand for a while.
"A mugging in the corner by our Shield Hero and this shows you how important is that World Championship to him, let alone winning it and he brought out his lethal attacks and surely, Midoriya didn't expect this at all," Excalibur said as Naofumi picks up Izuku in a Side Slam position.
Before he could land a Side Slam, Izuku amazingly countered when he shifts his weight and went on to pull Naofumi's arm and draped it on the ropes to lock in the Cross Arm Breaker, causing the fans to cheer on how ridiculous of a counter that it was.
Unfortunately, it was cut short when the referee reprimands the champion for the illegal tactic that he made, causing the fans to boo the referee and also leading to isolation on the part of the champion.
"Although, it was short but the submission might have made damage to his arm and let's remember that Iwatani's go-tos is that Go To Shield of his!" Shun observed as Izuku makes a slow climb toward the top turnbuckle.
"You're right, Kaido. This might help the champion to take at least advantage of one's strong suits and now, Midoriya is on the top, what can he possibly do at this point?" Excalibur replied as Izuku waited for Naofumi to stand up.
After a few seconds, Izuku took to the skies as he dives off the top but somehow, Naofumi fights Izuku off with a huge Lariat in mid-air, causing the fans to stand up at how devastating the move was.
"OHHH! A huge Lariat by Naofumi, that might have broken the jaw of the champion and this could be the chance for him on becoming the champion!" Excalibur said in shock as Naofumi slowly crawls for a cover with a leg hooked.

Izuku kicked out, much to the disappointment of the challenger while the fans began to chant both competitors' names. Meanwhile, the camera saw Izuku's mouth begin to bleed.
"Swat like a fly, throwing him like a ragdoll and Izuku doesn't even give up! This is outrageous and look at his face, he paid the price of making it through this." Corey said as both men stood up and met face-to-face.
Izuku fires first with a punch to the face, which Naofumi returns the favor until both men exchanged fists to their faces, leading the fans into cheers. It took a while for the exchange to stop until Izuku brought out his knee to the gut of Naofumi, who trades it with a Forearm Shot and another before he whips Izuku to the ropes as the champion jumps and lands over Naofumi with a Thesz Press, followed up by a few punches to the face.
"Thesz Press by Midoriya, here he is, looking for a momentum shift in this championship match!" Excalibur exclaimed as Izuku stood up and interacted with the fans momentarily, who were cheering for him.
Izuku took a few breaths as he saw Naofumi standing up and went to the other side of the ropes to hit a Swinging Neckbreaker then picks Naofumi in a sitting position as he went to the ropes to hit a hard PK to the chest of the challenger and Izuku followed up with a Standing Moonsault for an instant cover.

Naofumi kicks out while Izuku smirked at how predictable he would kick out of the situation.
"Why on earth is Midoriya smiling about? And why is he running like he is still fresh? This person is really quite an individual, isn't he?" Shun asked the commentators as he took his time to stand up.
"I have the same sentiments as you are, Kaido. But nevertheless, it's Midoriya's turn to take strikes and dives to make sure the challenger is out for good." Corey said as he then climbs up to the top again. "And he is back again on the top! He is certain that he got Naofumi's number!"
Izuku then sees Naofumi standing up as he wasted no time on delivering a Missile Dropkick, sending Naofumi down again as Izuku rose back up quickly like he has resurged his energy.
"This is unbelievable! Izuku is back and he is all over the place with these flashy offenses!" Excalibur said as Izuku sees Naofumi standing up again. "Naofumi is under the radar of the champion and he is ready to take charge!"
Izuku then runs towards Naofumi and hits a Shotgun Dropkick, sending him to the corner and down on the mat again as the crowd went wild when Izuku raised his hands and surge up the energy to make this thing end.
"You know what's coming, he is tuning up the band!" Shun exclaimed as Izuku began stomping the mat as if he is really is making a final tune.
When Naofumi held on to the ropes and turn around, Izuku attempted a Superkick but Naofumi grabs the foot and spins him around to kick him to the gut, grabbing him and lifting him to throw him into the corner with a Buckle Bomb, causing Izuku to unconsciously stagger on his feet with Naofumi grabbing the champion and hits a Side Slam Backbreaker. Naofumi then proceeds to cover.

Izuku kicks out of instinct, causing Naofumi to be in disbelief after the kickout while the crowd was in awe.
"That was pure instinct alone, he was out from that Buckle Bomb and there is no way that Izuku knows that he is in Phoenix, or on Earth, most certainly," Corey said.
Naofumi's eyes began to widen as if he was used to this kind of punishment and smirked, telling the people that this will be over in a few moments as he begins to climb up to the top, causing the fans to stand up.
"Wait a minute! This is out of Naofumi's character but he is on the top rope! What is he doing up there?!" Shun asked in disbelief as Naofumi was waiting for the right time to hit his aerial maneuver.
All of a sudden, Izuku hopped to stand up and went to the top rope to tip the ropes, causing Naofumi to fall on his butt at the turnbuckle, sending Naofumi writhing in pain. Izuku took a few hard steps and climbs up to the top where Naofumi was sitting as he decks him with a few punches.
"The AVW World Champion is showing resiliency and that 'never-say-die' attitude like nobody else! And he is taking it to the challenger on the top rope!" Excalibur exclaimed as Naofumi became unresponsive while Izuku was still standing on the top rope, looking at the fans who were aggressively shouting at him.
Izuku then decides to end it as he grabs Naofumi and went for a Top Rope Frankensteiner but shockingly, Naofumi blocks the attempt and picks up Izuku slowly as the fans were in shock after seeing the counter, he then adjusts himself and Izuku was now on his shoulders in a Fireman's Carry. Naofumi took a nosedive to the mat when he hits a Rolling Fireman's Carry Slam off the top, sending the fans into a frenzy.
"OH, MY GOD! OFF THE TOP WITH A GREEN BAY PLUNGE! THAT HAS GOT TO BE THE MATCH ENDER!" Corey shouted in amazement as Naofumi lay on the chest of Izuku to make the pin.

Izuku's shoulder was up in time before the three, causing the fans to shout and chant 'This is Awesome!' while Naofumi started to become frustrated at the kickout.
"Are you serious?! Izuku kicked out of the plunge from the top, how can you even stop the champion?!" Shun asked in amazement as Naofumi picked up the defenseless Izuku and slapped him, shouting at him to stay down.
From out of nowhere, Izuku defiantly slapped Naofumi, causing for him to snap and carry him in a Fireman's Carry position as he went for the Go to Shield (Fireman's Carry into Uppercut) but Izuku miraculously countered with a few Elbow Shots to the side of the head then targets the injured hand of Naofumi with his elbows, followed up by a Crucifix Bomb into a pinning predicament.

Naofumi kicks out as Izuku turns his attention to the injured hand and the arm as he locks in the Cross Armbreaker as the crowd were livid at the submission hold.
"Oh! Cross Armbreaker! Cross Armbreaker! He never forgot that he targeted that hand of Naofumi! And he is going to pay for it dearly!" Excalibur exclaimed as Izuku tightly locks the submission as Naofumi was squirming and screaming in agony.
"How would be embarrassing if The Shield Hero taps here!" Corey exclaimed as the crowd was chanting 'Tap!' to the challenger.
After 15 seconds, Naofumi showed signs of life as he slowly lifts Izuku up but it wasn't enough as the submission was locked in tightly again. But turns out, Naofumi lifts him up again as he slowly adjusts the champion in a Fireman's Carry position and eventually hits the Go to Shield (Fireman's Carry into Uppercut) onto the jaw of Izuku, knocking him out silly but Naofumi used the injured hand as he couldn't capitalize the pin yet.
"GO TO SHIELD! BUT HIS HAND, THE RIGHT HAND OF HIS, WHICH GOT INJURED BY THAT SUBMISSION OF IZUKU EARLIER!" Excalibur shouted as Naofumi was shaking his arm and hand and was clearly hurt but did make it to the downed champion and covered him with his good hand and the inside leg to pin.

The crowd went bananas as Izuku's foot was on the bottom rope. With this revelation, Naofumi was definitely in a bad mood. The crowd was certainly loving the match with their chant 'This is Awesome!'
"Izuku kicked out! That hand might have cost him the championship gold! The same hand that did earn him a shot at this World Championship!" Excalibur said
"I-I don't even understand how Midoriya's heart has been functioning but the World Title match continues on and there's nothing Iwatani could do but make the best of his efforts!" Corey said as Naofumi desperately picks up Izuku again, attempting for another Go to Shield.
"He is looking for a second time here, can he do the second charm?" Shun asked.
All of a sudden, Izuku shocked everyone when he countered the move with a Canadian Destroyer, spiking the head of Naofumi although that did not send him down on the mat as he hit a Superkick that finally sends him down to the canvas.
The fans totally rocked on the champion as he took his precious time to climb up to the top and quickly hits a 450 Splash on the chest of Naofumi as Izuku hooks the leg of Naofumi.

The bell rang in succession as the crowd loudly cheered for the champion when the music began to play, who sat down on the corner as if he was exhausted or in pain. The referee then grabs the belt from the timekeeper.
"Here is your winner and STILL the AVW World Champion, Izuku Midoriya!" Mai Sakurajima announced as the belt was finally given to Izuku, who grabs it and raises it carefully due to him being hurt.
"What a valiant effort for Naofumi Iwatani but the big heart of the champion prevailed as Izuku Midoriya bested him and retains the AVW World Championship! What a battle!" Excalibur said as Izuku spotted Naofumi and began to stand on his own while he wiped off the blood from his lips and mouth.
Izuku decided to pull Naofumi's good hand and pull him to face him and a few seconds off, he said that he gave it all and he also told him that he will get his opportunity soon then extends the arm to offer a gesture of respect.
"Midoriya showing signs of respect to his opponent for tonight from a hard-fought battle," Shun said as Naofumi, who was clutching his head and stomach, was reluctant at first but did shake the champion's hand to the cheers of the crowd with Izuku embracing him, sending him good luck to his future.
"Both men shaking hands and embracing, a sign of respect and sportsmanship to one another. And Midoriya is right, he'll get his opportunity soon." Corey added.
The crowd cheered for more as Izuku raised Naofumi's hand.
But all of a sudden, the crowd's tune went sour as they boo when both Nagisa Shiota and Karma Akabane attacked both from behind and mauled them with punches.
"That's The Assassins, Karma, and Nagisa, they are taking their frustrations on to those two, who just went into a grueling battle!" Excalibur exclaimed.
"They talk about how something awful is going to happen tonight and this might be the moment that they're talking about!" Corey said.
"Somebody, stop them! These lunatics are on the loose!" Shun shouted as Karma said to Naofumi that his time is up and he will never get any opportunity.
Meanwhile, Nagisa stopped clocking the champion as he backed off until he could make it to the corner, he looked guilty and felt regret over his actions. But when Karma hooked the arms of Naofumi, he signals Nagisa to do it as the blue-haired assassin hits a Superkick to Naofumi, sending him down to the ring, leaving Izuku by himself.
"And just we thought Nagisa has a second heart there but nada, he kicks Naofumi out of the ring!" Shun complained as Karma mounted over Izuku and decks him with his ground-and-pound offense with the crowd booing the duo.
Karma shouts at Izuku that his championship reign will be slashed because of them as he carried the defenseless champion, slings the shoulders of Izuku to his arms as Nagisa hits another Superkick to the bloodied mouth of the champion, causing the fans to jeer at them and chanting 'You Both Suck!'.
"Talking about a statement coming from them! The Assassins just sent a huge message to the champion!" Excalibur exclaimed as Nagisa knelt on the body of Izuku and sees the championship belt beside him.
Nagisa was in a stoic expression but turns out he was not as he grabs the belt and raises it right on the champion's body while Karma smirked and adds insult to injury when he stomped on the back of Izuku.
But the crowd lit up when Shinji appeared, making a beeline towards The Assassins, who immediately escaped out of the ring as he attended to the wounded champion and looked over Naofumi on the outside. Shinji glared at the two, who were now in the audience, smirking widely at Shinji.
"Shinji Ikari is here but it is too late for him to save those two but somehow he repels those two maniacs out of the ring," Corey said as the camera then fades away as the show ended there.
