AVW Elevation: Episode 8 (March 15, 2022)
("Broken World" by Alex Norre) played in the intro as the entranceway and the ramp lit up with pyro and fireworks in a pattern with the follow-up of wild cheers from the crowd. The notorious crowd of Chicago began to chant 'AVW' continuously.
"It is Tuesday and you know what means? It's Elevation time! We are here at a raucous crowd at the United Center in Chicago! We're 11 days away from the Battle Chronicle, another chapter of events and history will be made there in Philadelphia!" Excalibur announced, kicking off the show on their commentary table.
"We're getting closer and closer to the pay-per-view, but we're seeing more intense action and drama, filling up before the event! And it is rightfully getting hotter by every passing week!" Shun added.
"You're right, Kaido. We're prepared for another intense episode with high-profile and high-stakes of matches to be set here tonight. Including the main event, where Nagisa Shiota and Shinji Ikari will vie for an opportunity for Izuku Midoriya's AVW World Championship match at Battle Chronicle! And more of that to come later!" Corey exclaimed, adding more hype to the episode.
("Bulletproof" by Family Force 5) was played through the arena as the crowd was loudly cheering for the arrival of a woman in a hero suit, which shared hands with the nearest fans beside the ramp while making her way to the ring.
"The opening match is a No Holds Barred match, scheduled for one fall, with a time limit of 30 minutes. From Musutafu, Japan – Ochako Uraraka!" Mai Sakurajima announced the first entrant of the night, earning additional cheers from the fans as Ochako slides under the bottom rope to extend both of her arms in front of the camera, shouting that she has been 'waiting for this moment for a long time'.
"If you can hear her, Ochako Uraraka has been waiting and waiting for 7 weeks, almost two months for this chance. A chance to knock some sense and the face of the individual who cost her opportunity at the AVW Women's World Championship back at the first episode of Elevation." Excalibur narrated the story for this match as Ochako taunts the crowd to run along with her against her opponent.
"From the look in her eyes, Uraraka has been patiently waiting for this match to occur and on this night, she will finally get her hands on the president of SOS Brigade!" Shun added as Ochako was eyeing the Tron, waiting for her opponent to show up.
("Falling Down" by Oasis) was played in the arena next as the crowd's reaction turned a 180 when Ochako's opponent appeared in a black and white-colored boxing attire, with her heavily taped fist prominently visible for the fans to see. Haruhi's face was unsurprisingly frightened and was walking slowly like a snail towards the ramp.
"And her opponent, representing SOS Brigade – Haruhi Suzumiya!" Mai Sakurajima announced the other individual as she took her precious time to climb to the steps and was frightened when she enters the ring to see a smirking Ochako in front of her, cranking her fists in preparation for the match.
"On Haruhi's part, this is a one-side match-up for her! I mean, a match with a stipulation that does not favor a non-wrestler is already spelling doom itself. I would be surprised if she can lay an offense on Uraraka despite the lack of preparation for this match!" Corey chastised the structure of the match from Haruhi's perspective.
"No Holds Barred Match, a match with no disqualifications and count-outs and you can win by either pinfall or submission. So, I think Haruhi can pull something off her sleeves and Ochako is seemingly giving her at least a glimpse of what it's like to be crashed down to a table." Excalibur countered as a frightened Haruhi and an enthusiastic Ochako met in the center as the referee signals for the timekeeper to ring the bell.
But before anything could happen, Haruhi took a step back and then rolls out of the ring to the chorus of boos while Ochako trailed her from behind, following the steps of her opponent as both women ran a 360 around the ringside area until Haruhi slides back inside, so is Ochako. When Ochako stood back up, she was met by a slap from Haruhi, causing the fans to boo her but the crowd cheered when Ochako chuckled in response and hits a hard slap, sending her down to the ropes.
"Oh, my! There you have it! That's the slap that has been left hanging for 7 weeks and the pent-up impact from that is palpable! That will definitely sting her face for a loooong time!" Shun exclaimed in enthusiasm as Ochako saw Haruhi crawling to a corner.
"I admire the defiance by Suzumiya for stepping up to the match, much less slapping Uraraka in the face but I think this is over right as we were started. Just pin yourself, Suzumiya. You have a crew to manage too." Corey said, pleading for Haruhi indirectly.
But before she could do anything, Ochako tried to pull Haruhi off the corner but the latter was whimpering, causing Ochako to halt her proceedings. Haruhi was on her knees, pleading with Ochako to not do anything harmful to her while she was hesitating at the same time.
"She's begging, Haruhi is begging for mercy! But that crash from the ladder will leave a mark on Ochako's mind for the rest of her life, is she relenting?" Excalibur asked.
Haruhi then suddenly attempts to sucker-punch Ochako, but she instinctively blocks the fist with her hands and uncorks a hard right hand, knocking Haruhi down and sending the crowd into a frenzy as they chanted Ochako's name.
"Come on, now! It's over, just put her in the mat and pin her, no one wants to see an untrained individual getting decimated helplessly." Corey said with pity in his voice.
Ochako then shouted and asked the fans to see if they want to see Haruhi lying on the table, the crowd shouted 'Yes!'. Complying with the fans, Ochako rolls out of the ring to get the long woodware underneath, picking the nearest table immediately. She took her precious time to pull out the table and she then pushes the table under the bottom rope.
"Methodical and a slow pace, Uraraka is taking her time to seize this moment and get this grudge to get away with," Shun said as Ochako sets up the table nearby a corner, where an unconscious Haruhi was beside her.
"She has done it, Kaido. Just let this thing put to rest and go back to their normal lives, Haruhi Suzumiya has a lot of years to live!" Corey complained as Ochako slowly picked up the carcass of her opponent and laid her on the table on her back.
The crowd cheered when Ochako looks at them and goes up to the top, basking in the reception that she is getting from as she prepares for the final shot. But before she could dive, a hooded individual entered the ringside area and went on to the apron to intervene in Ochako's attempt, causing the fans to murmur and boo eventually when the bandit tries to pull the leg of Ochako, who attempts to kick her in the face to send her off the apron.
However, the mysterious person shoves Ochako from the top to the canvas beside the table, landing on her back, making the negative reception louder.
"Who the—Who is that? Someone is interfering Uraraka!" Shun shouted as the mysterious attacker enter the ring as it shoves the body of Haruhi down on the table and grabs the throat of Ochako, who tries to fight back but was ineffective as the intruder sends Ochako through the table with an F5, earning the loudest boos so far of the night.
"A massive F5 by the mystery attacker to Uraraka! And as we thought, this will be over in a minute but someone had to interject themselves!" Excalibur exclaimed as the mystery person pulls the arm of Haruhi and sends her to the body of Ochako in the table as the referee has no choice but to make the cover.

The bell rang in succession as the crowd booed when Haruhi's theme played as the mystery partner carried the unconscious Haruhi on her shoulder to wake her up.
"Here is your winner – Haruhi Suzumiya!" Mai Sakurajima announced as the boo continued to roar in the arena.
"Like I said, Uraraka should have just pinned Suzumiya right after she took the first right hand, wasting time leads to these moments. But wow, I can't believe it, I didn't know Haruhi has brought a plan tonight despite not being prepared for the match and now it makes sense!" Corey said in surprise as Haruhi opened her eyes to learn that the match was over and saw the hooligan in the hood, smirking over the individual.
"Don't tell me… that's…" Shun stumbled as the hooligan revealed its face to the arena. The now-then-revealed intruder has long purple hair that was now untied from a bun and a blue-eyes with a tall physique.
"It's not what you think, Kaido. But that's a she!" Corey replied as the crowd booed when the reveal was finally presented.
"This tall woman has made her presence known and it appears that she has aligned herself with Haruhi Suzumiya!" Excalibur noted as Haruhi slowly raised the hands of the new girl on the block, earning more boos from the crowd. "But who is she? And why is she aligning with the president of SOS Brigade?"
Office of the General Manager
The camera transitions to the office of the general manager, Kokomi Teruhashi, where she was busy looking at the papers and attentively looking at them as if a serious matter was happening. But the silence broke when a loud banging from the door, recoils the GM on her chair. The door then opened to reveal an irate Naofumi Iwatani, flanked by the concerned faces of Raphtalia and Filo behind him. The crowd was clearly cheering for his arrival despite the face.
"Oh, hey, you three, how can I help you?" GM asked them but both Filo and Raphtalia shook their heads, has nothing to say but they pointed their finger at Naofumi, who was visibly upset when he arrived at the office.
"You know why I'm here, right? I want Karma, right now!" Naofumi yelled, causing for the GM to raise an eyebrow as Naofumi spoke. "Since the World Title match, we were supposed to end it in a nice way but those two snakes attacked us from behind and Karma decided to dispose me like I'm some trash! But guess what? It is my turn to take out the trash on him and I hereby request a match with Karma Akabane right now!"
The crowd cheered for this prideful announcement from the Shield Hero and this made GM Teruhashi assess the request. After a few seconds, she nodded and responds to the request of Naofumi.
"Alright, Mr. Naofumi. You want to take revenge over Mr. Karma in the ring tonight! I mean, tonight, like not right now but you'll get your match with him! Plus, I just remember that there are open slots for the qualifying match for the AVW Infinity Championship Ladder Match at Battle Chronicle and I can't think of a better two individuals than you two. So, Naofumi Iwatani versus Karma Akabane, and the winner of that match will be in the Ladder Match at Battle Chronicle!" Teruhashi announced a piece of huge news, causing for the fans to cheer in the background and also for Raphtalia and Filo as Naofumi smirked.
"I couldn't ask for a better stipulation. Thank you." Naofumi nodded and bowed to the GM, then focuses on his fist. "Guess he needs one shot with my fist to put him to sleep."
With that, Naofumi walked out with a smirk on his face, leaving Raphtalia and Filo, who both went to the GM to ask something.
"Oh, why didn't you walk off with Mr. Naofumi?" The GM asked them.
"Well, about our opportunity for the Women's Tag Team Championships? Will it also be possible to be set here tonight?" Raphtalia shyly asks the GM with Filo nodding in agreement.
"Oh!" GM Teruhashi's eyes lit up as she remembers the deal with the two. "Right, also forgot about that as well. As for your AVW Women's Tag Team Championships, can I ask you gals to wait for three weeks?" This answer caused the fans to boo while both Raphtalia and Filo were disappointed but smiled subsequently.
"Yeah, I think we can wait that long since Filo needs to train more since it's a huge match for her," Raphtalia commented.
"That's one reason to wait for your title match and besides, you can scout the champions and you can watch the title match at Battle Chronicle to see who's walking out as champions. Plus, it's a Street Fight too! Whoever is the champion after Battle Chronicle, will be treated with your out-of-this-world teamwork with you and Filo." GM Teruhashi nodded as both Raphtalia and Filo nodded in understanding.
"Fair point. Thank you, Teruhashi-san!" Raphtalia said with glee as they walked out of the office with smiles on their faces, leaving the GM to resume her office work in silence.
"Two matches just announced like that! And what a match would it be! Tonight, Naofumi Iwatani and Karma Akabane for a slot in the Ladder Match at Battle Chronicle and an AVW Women's Tag Team Championship with Filo and Raphtalia as challengers, waiting on who's walking out the champions at the pay-per-view! Couldn't wait for those matches to happen!" Shun exclaimed in excitement.
"The season is getting us gifts even if it's not Christmas, but it keeps on giving thanks to our General Manager!" Corey added.
("Down in Ashes" by Awake) was played in the background as the crowd cheered for the arrival of one Rimuru Tempest, who gestured to the camera with his hands, capturing the whole arena and running toward the ring.
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 30-minute time limit, introducing first, from the Jura Tempest Federation, Rimuru Tempest!" Mai Sakurajima announced as Rimuru raises himself to the turnbuckles and beckons everyone to cheer for him as they obliged in a loud manner.
"And another gift that was given to us since last week is the match-up between Rimuru Tempest and Genos! Two contrasting styles, clashing between both worlds and one who will be victorious to gain momentum prior to their Ladder Match at Battle Chronicle!" Excalibur stated and gestures a diamond shape before he could jump down from the turnbuckle.
"A scenario that we have seen before, a battle between David and Goliath but who will prevail in this new chapter of the rivalry?" Corey asked as he is waiting for his opponent to arrive.
("Return of the Fire" by def rebel) played in the arena where the lights turned off as multiple poses from an individual lit up on the Tron, following the lights beside it. That individual appeared when the lights went back as he stops by the ramp, gesturing to the opponent, who was already in the ring with a thumbs middle descending to thumbs down. The crowd was unsure of how to react to the presence of the tall man.
"And his opponent, hailing from 'Ghost City', Z-City, he is 'The Devil Cyborg' - Genos!" Mai Sakurajima announced as he continues his slow walk toward the ring, heavily staring at Rimuru, who was stretching his arms out.
"Well, it was quite an interesting interaction between these two last week in an interview backstage. Genos quietly challenges Rimuru for a match and surprisingly, the latter knew it all along. But the demeanor of Genos isn't exactly conventional." Shun commented as Genos enters the ring through the ropes and removes his gray, thick jacket, revealing his half-robot, half-human body.
"Because he is a cyborg, a Devil Cyborg nonetheless, Kaido!" Corey replied as both men were staring at one another from a distance.
"But it looks like it's gonna be interesting to see what these two can do despite their differences in different perspectives," Excalibur said as the two opponents were running around circles as the referee called the timekeeper to ring the bell as it did.
The match began when Genos tries to grab a pinch of hair from Rimuru, who steps back immediately when Genos tries to take a step forward on him, showing his instincts instantly. Genos then tries to embrace Rimuru but the latter was able to roll through beside the former. Rimuru kicks the leg of Genos, signaling a warning shot from the cyborg.
"Already at the first few seconds, Rimuru is showing the speed that he has an advantage over Genos. It is completely a game of who's getting the first shot here." Excalibur said as Genos as tried to grab Rimuru again only for him to crouch under Genos, causing for Rimuru to kick Genos' leg again.
"Rimuru is kicking the leg after toying around Genos and this might be some sort of mind game that he is unable to utilize until now. So far, it has been effective so far for Rimuru's part." Corey said as Genos surprises Rimuru when he throws him to a corner and grabs Rimuru by his head and throws him off the corner with a Biel but Rimuru surprises everyone when he lands on his feet.
Genos attempts to run on Rimuru, who ducks the upcoming attack and continues to target the legs of Genos with a few kicks to the legs until he drops the cyborg with a Drop Toe Hold and playfully stomps the back of Genos, causing for the fans to cheer at the actions of Rimuru.
"Rimuru is somehow dominating in the match so far and using his quickness, he is just toying with The Devil Cyborg, who just rolls out of the ring and is irate already," Shun stated as Genos pounded the apron in frustration, causing for the fans to boo for backing out as Rimuru shrugged.
"It's his second match, it's very usual for a competitor like him to get frustrated over playing with you and not taking the match seriously," Corey added as Rimuru was thinking of going airborne when he bounces to the ropes, attempting for a Somersault Plancha but Rimuru was able to grab the ropes as soon as he saw Genos, backing off a few steps, landing himself on the apron safely.
Genos tries to grab the leg of Rimuru, who jumped immediately and kicks the chest of Rimuru with a Back Kick and jumps to the second rope, diving off to Genos with an Asai Moonsault, sending Rimuru rolling after hitting Genos and getting back up to his feet to the satisfaction of the fans.
"Asai Moonsault by Rimuru and this is actually a surprise that he is prevailing in this match and as long as he keeps the momentum, he might be able to beat Genos in a few minutes!" Excalibur exclaimed as Rimuru grabs Genos and sends him back inside the ring.
Rimuru decides to take off again as he climbs up to the apron and waits for Genos to back up on his feet. When Genos was a foot up, Rimuru climbs up to the top rope to hit a Springboard Crossbody; however, Genos catches Rimuru and hits a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker, causing the back of Rimuru to almost buckle in pain much to the boos from the crowd.
"And here's the advantage that Genos begins to show, his strength to catch Rimuru in the air like a ball and bounce him with a Backbreaker!" Corey exclaimed as Genos went for a quick cover.

Rimuru quickly kicks out as Genos picks him up and whips him to a corner.
Genos makes a run to Rimuru and hits a Running European Uppercut, hitting the side of Rimuru's face. He then follows it up with a Standard European Uppercut before he picks Rimuru's lower body and walks towards the center of the ring to play around Rimuru as he took him for a ride in 180 and hits a Karelin Lift, sending Rimuru across the ring to another corner.
"Wow! Very impressive strength by Genos, lifting him like a deadweight and sending him overhead across the other side of the ring! And a tit for tat by Genos to Rimuru for playing him around a few minutes ago." Corey said as Genos picks up Rimuru and sets him upright on a corner and hits another European Uppercut.
"Beautiful but lethal European Uppercuts from The Devil Cyborg and Rimuru might take a few minutes to regain his knowledge about the match," Excalibur commented as Genos grabs Rimuru and sends him to the top turnbuckle in a sitting position.
Perching on top was Rimuru with Genos, climbing up to him and clubs the back of Rimuru several times until he could not respond. Genos then grabs the waist of Rimuru and was slanted, attempting for a Gutwrench Suplex off the turnbuckles. Genos throws Rimuru overhead with an Avalanche Gutwrench Suplex; however, much to the surprise of many, Rimuru lands on his feet while starting to shake his cobwebs but Genos quickly responds and launches Rimuru to the other side of the corner with a Running European Uppercut, hitting his head on the turnbuckles.
"Ugh! That landing on the head of Rimuru from that Uppercut is not good and it's ugly!" Shun said in disgust as Genos makes his way to the unresponsive Rimuru and picks him up, sending him back to the turnbuckles in a sitting position.
Genos sends the crowd in awe when he hits a Standing Dropkick to Rimuru, sending the latter's body buckled against the ring post. Genos then climbs up to the turnbuckles and gives Rimuru more clubbing shots on the back and this time, Genos drapes the arm of Rimuru, attempting for a Superplex. Rimuru surprisingly instinctively moves and fires back with a few punches to knock Genos silly.
"I can't believe Rimuru can withstand a bunch of Uppercuts as he tries to survive this big hurdle in Genos and both of them are in a precarious position," Excalibur said as Genos hits a big headbutt as a counter to Rimuru. The cyborg attempts the Superplex again when he drapes Rimuru's arm on his shoulder.
Genos finally executes the Superplex; however, Rimuru counters the move mid-air with a Crossbody, causing for the referee to count and the crowd to cheer.

Genos kicks out, causing Rimuru to get launched by the cyborg.
"Whoa! Rimuru counters it with a Crossbody and the way Genos kicks out sends Rimuru launching like a rocket launcher!" Corey exclaimed as Genos tries to make a run on Rimuru but the latter ducked the attempted Clothesline.
Rimuru fires back with a kick to the hamstring of Genos, followed by a Knife Edge Chop to the chest to the cheers of the crowd. Rimuru switch offense between the kick to the leg and the chops a few times until Genos could not answer any offense as Rimuru bounces to the ropes and sends himself over Genos with a Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors, sending the crowd happy while Rimuru savors the moment for a while.
"Rimuru is back and better with those flashy offenses like what we've seen from him from the past matches," Shun said as Rimuru grabs the leg of a standing Genos and slowly lifts and hits a Shinbreaker, causing for Genos to lay down on his back in pain while Rimuru follows up with a Dropkick to the hamstring of Genos, leading for Genos to writhe in pain while clutching the leg of concern.
"This is smart on the part of Rimuru, incapacitating the leg of the big man, Genos, whose most of his moves in his arsenal require his leg to hit it," Corey said as Rimuru jumps on the middle rope to hit a Lionsault, leading for Rimuru to make a quick cover.

Genos kicks out of instinct as Rimuru was not surprised by the kickout; however, Genos, once again, rolls to the outside to take a breather and Rimuru climbs up to the turnbuckle and taunts the crowd before he could dive to the outside with a Crossbody; amazingly, Rimuru got caught by Genos and attempts for a Powerbomb outside but the crowd cheered when Rimuru fights back with punches while on Genos' shoulders but to no avail as Genos tosses Rimuru with a Powerbomb on the apron, causing for the crowd to boo and for Rimuru to scream in pain while rolling inside.
"OH! Powerbomb to the edge of the apron and the back of Rimuru must be in agony! But the leg of Genos might have started to haunt him!" Excalibur exclaimed as Genos was holding his leg while crawling underneath the bottom rope as he went to Rimuru for a cover with his arm slinging on his chest.

Rimuru's shoulder was up, surprising Genos while the crowd was starting to chant Rimuru's name while he looks over the injured leg.
"Both men starting to feel the effects of the fatigue and the pain that they have endured throughout the match but the match is kicking it to the next level for both Rimuru and Genos," Excalibur said as Genos was eyeing between the top turnbuckles and Rimuru, but his eyes went for the turnbuckles and slowly roses up on his feet, taking his time to climb up to the top turnbuckle.
"This is out of character for Genos, making a climb to the top when he usually is on the ground, breaking faces with Uppercuts and Dropkicks and I'm not sure if this is gonna work for him," Corey said in concern as Genos stands on the top turnbuckle and looks around the arena, where he sees them jeering him.
However, time pays dividends as Rimuru suddenly rises from the mat and jumps to the top rope, targeting Genos' gut with a few shots to the amazement of the fans. Rimuru then grabs Genos fully and both men send themselves for a ride when Rimuru launches themselves with a Power Plummet (Spanish Fly) to the mat, causing for the crowd to go berserk when Rimuru went crawling for a cover, with a leg hooked.

Genos kicks out, causing for Rimuru and the crowd to be in shock.
"I am not seeing things right now but Genos was on the top and somehow kicked out from a top rope offense by Rimuru but wow, this is unbelievable, guys!" Shun exclaimed as the crowd begins to chant 'This is awesome!' with both of them trying to stand up on their own accord with the use of the ropes to balance themselves.
After almost of minute of struggling, both men stood up in unison as both faced each other and exchanged chops and uppercuts, where the crowd was cheering and booing accordingly. The exchange was stopped when Rimuru switch focus to the leg of Genos, kicking the injured part a few times until the cyborg grabs the leg.
"These guys couldn't stop each other from beating each other and the fans in Chicago are elated to see it!" Shun exclaimed as Rimuru attempts a Spinning Back Kick but Genos grabs the leg of Rimuru, earning boos from the crowd.
Genos pushes the leg on the canvas to kick Rimuru on the gut as he attempts for a Gotch Neutralizer but Rimuru counters with a Jackknife Pin.

Genos kicks out momentarily to the chagrin of the crowd.
"So close for Rimuru but yet he has to vanquish the cyborg with all of his might! What he is going to do to stop the force known as Genos?" Excalibur asked as Rimuru surprises Genos and hits a Spinning Back Kick to the face, followed up by another Spinning Back Kick to the other side. Then, Rimuru ends it with a massive Reverse Hurricanrana, earning the loudest cheers from the crowd.
The crowd began to cheer again when Rimuru climbs up to the top turnbuckles again, waiting for Genos to get back up.
"All he needs is one Chaos Tempester to conquer The Devil Cyborg and he is going to do it right now!" Shun said as Rimuru attempts for a Chaos Tempester (Eclipse) but the crowd go in awe when Genos counters it with a Very European Uppercut, knocking Rimuru out on the canvas.
"Wow! Very European Uppercut from Genos, that is lights out for Rimuru and Genos is preparing to meet his end here!" Corey said as Genos picks Rimuru up and crossed his arms to lift him up as he hits the Sitout Cyborg Bomb (Sitout Ricola Bomb), automatically sending the referee into a counting assessment.

The bell rang in succession as the victor's music was played with the crowd lightly booing but applauding both men for their performance with the referee raising the arm of Genos.
"Here is your winner, 'The Devil Cyborg' Genos!" Mai Sakurajima announced as Genos's arm was let go as he looks at Rimuru, who was still out from the Ricola Bomb and kept his gaze on his unconscious body, nodding to the smaller opponent.
"Genos with an impactful victory but you can see that he was staring at Rimuru, assuming that he put up a good fight against him and this might be showing a sign of respect from the cyborg," Excalibur commented as Genos rolls out of the ring, slowly walking towards the ramp while looking over his leg.
"The crowd was hot and fire at the match and were applauding both men for their great performance and showing, especially to Rimuru, in which I may incline to agree, putting a big fight against the big man himself," Corey added as Genos left the ramp and Rimuru was beginning to stand on his own while the referee nurses him.
But before he could stand, the crowd booed when Kyon, from out of nowhere, hits a Big Boot to the face of Rimuru. Kyon smirked and shouted to the crowd that 'he is capable more than the robot freak' as he mounted over a defenseless Rimuru with ground-and-pound punches.
"Oh, come on! Now, Kyon is taking advantage of the situation and beats the heck out of a weary Rimuru. The referee better get in between them to stop this crazy man!" Shun complained as the referee tries to intervene but Kyon intimidates the referee, causing for him to step back as Kyon picks up Rimuru slowly while basking the jeers of the crowd and grabbing the throat of Rimuru and hitting the Alienated (Sitout Chokeslam).
"A huge, huge statement was made by the SOS Brigade's Vice President and he is showing off here tonight that he is another credible threat on the upcoming Ladder Match at Battle Chronicle!" Corey exclaimed as Kyon was taunting the belt that would be his 'if he wins the ladder match'.
Medical Room
Haruhi Suzumiya and the tall girl, who assaulted Ochako in their match, watched Kyon at his show of dominance and were both satisfied by the outcome to the boos of the crowd in the background.
"Yeah! That would do it- OUCH! My face!" Haruhi shouted in pain, clutching her cheek after getting knocked down by Ochako. The tall woman grabbed an ice pack and sticks it to the cheek of Haruhi. "Thanks."
"Now…" Haruhi continued. "As for my business on Uraraka is over and Kyon showed how capable he is on throwing his opponents down, let's get down to business on you, my new client, Hitagi Senjougahara."
Haruhi was staring at her new client and the tall woman now named as Hitagi Senjougahara, nodded in understanding and is ready to listen to her attentively.
"Since I am currently facing a painful predicament, I think you should be on their corner for next week since I told the General Manager to put the boys in a Trios Match against mystery opponents," Haruhi told Hitagi, who nodded. "Good. Because if she decides to interfere again, then be my guest, destroy her."
Hitagi only nodded as Haruhi began to scream in pain as the tall girl pressed the ice pack against the latter's cheek, who sighed in relief.
Backstage Area
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the AVW World Champion – Izuku Midoriya!" Visha announced as the crowd cheered in the background when the champion was seen in the camera, looking confident. "So, you've heard about the main event for tonight – a huge implication for your championship as Nagisa Shiota will face Shinji Ikari and the winner will face you for the AVW World Championship at Battle Chronicle. Who are you rooting for in this match?"
"Well, I'm sure people will know that I'd be inclined on choosing Shinji but Nagisa? He's an interesting individual, not just because of what he did to me for the past few weeks but I want to see the side that I wanted to see since I have wrestled him back at Winter Warfare! In fact, either of them works out as my opponent. But, here's some news flash for you – since I want to know who am I facing at Battle Chronicle, I'll be taking a seat at the commentary table for tonight's main event!" Izuku answered informatively as the crowd cheered in the background and Izuku walked out of Visha's sight.
"Well, that's news for me. The AVW World Champion will be on the commentary for tonight's main event when Shinji Ikari faces Nagisa Shiota and the winner will be facing Izuku Midoriya for the World Championship. Can't wait for that one." Shun said in excitement.
"Oh, but what about SOS Brigade in a Trios Match against three mystery opponents for next week? And the brigade's newest member Hitagi Senjougahara will be on ringside to aid the boys in the match! Couldn't wait on that one." Corey countered.
("Pressure" by Muse) was played in the background where the tall blue-haired lady appeared at the entrance to pose with the camera a few times with the crowd booing in the background while not caring about the jeers from them as she made her way across the ramp.
"The following match is an AVW World's Women Championship Eliminator Match, scheduled for one fall with a 30-minute time limit, from Tokyo, Japan, THE MOST AMICABLE SUPERSTAR IN THE WORLD - Ami Kawashima!" Mai Sakurajima announced as the crowd continues to boo the egotistical girl as Ami continues to pose on the camera on the apron.
"Ami Kawashima has been in a few matches here in AVW but tonight, she has been handed out an opportunity to be a part of the AVW World's Women Championship Match between Rei Ayanami, Asuka Langley Soryu, and the champion herself, Rin Tohsaka, should she be victorious here tonight!" Excalibur stated as Ami was taunting the crowd after entering the ring that she 'will be at Battle Chronicle'.
"And if she could beat the Women's Champion, this would be a huge upset and huge boost for her young career!" Corey added as Ami was waiting for her opponent to arrive. "And as you can see, there's no sign of Asuka Langley Soryu, thinking that she can do it on her own if I can assume."
("My Last Breath" by Evanescence) played next as the crowd was cheering for the champion, who appeared beside the Tron, raising the belt up high and stopping by to taunt the fans.
"And her opponent, she is the AVW Women's World Champion – Rin Tohsaka!" Mai Sakurajima announced the opponent for Ami as the champion runs toward the ramp to shake hands with the fans.
"I can't say I'm biased but the AVW Women's World Championship match at Battle Chronicle is making the champion look like she is at a disadvantage but I don't she wouldn't mind it if Kawashima beat her tonight," Excalibur said as Rin enters the ring to climb up to the turnbuckles to taunt, sighting like Christian Cage.
"That shows it, Excalibur. We are free to say whatever we want but the way you said it makes you look like you're on one side while yours truly has been giving insights for both sights." Corey countered as Rin stepped off the turnbuckles to meet Ami, who glared at her while Rin gave the belt to the referee and then to the timekeeper.
When the belt was in the timekeeper's area, the bell was rung when the referee signals him as the match began with the crowd yelling Rin's name while Ami shouted back at them to shut up. While being distracted by the crowd, Rin took advantage of the situation by rolling up Ami into an O' Connor Roll.

Ami kicks out again as Ami was yelling at Rin incoherently until she shoves the champion, causing for the fans to boo her.
"Ami Kawashima, being the egotistical woman that she is, doesn't want to get embarrassed but the champion is taking notice of this episode of hers," Shun said as Rin shoves back, sending Ami bouncing to the ropes and hits a Shoulder Block, sending Ami down on the mat.
Rin then bounces to the ropes while Ami was still down and hops over her and went to the other ropes, only for Ami to grab the arm of Rin, attempting a Hip Toss, only to be blocked by Rin and wrings her arm as a counter until she twists it hardly that she turned Ami inside out, landing on her butt.
Rin bounces to the ropes and hits a Basement Dropkick on Ami, quickly making for a cover.

Ami kicks out as Rin hastily sits Ami up and claws her shoulder with a Nerve Hold, causing for Ami to scream until her foot reached the bottom rope to stop the hold, causing the referee to intervene, making Rin comply as she raised her hands.
"The champion is making an easy picking for Kawashima and somehow utilizes the Nerve Hold, which I have never seen someone using for years," Excalibur stated.
"You're right, Excalibur. She assumes that Kawashima is an easy opponent to compete with but I doubt that since after her match with Rei a few weeks ago, I think the Women's Champion would be in a treat when Kawashima fights back." Corey said as Rin grabs Ami and whips her to the ropes with the former hitting a Back Elbow, sending the latter down on the mat, follows up with an Elbow Drop to the chest.
Rin makes a cover with a leg hooked.

Ami kicks out and instantly rolls out before Rin could grab her, causing for the fans to boo.
"Ami Kawashima was able to roll out wisely to the outside, much to the chagrin of the Women's Champion and the Chicago crowd! If this is her mindset on making the champion angry then it is a wise move." Corey said as Rin follows Ami to the outside by rolling out, signaling for the referee to count.
Outside, Ami kept walking while clutching her chest as Rin was trailing behind until the latter grabs the former's head and continues the punching spree until Ami poked Rin's eyes, causing for the crowd to boo as she slams the face of Rin to the steel steps a few times.

"Taking advantage of the situation on the outside is Kawashima and is her turn to give Tohsaka a faceful of smashing on the steel steps!" Excalibur said as Ami continues the assault by grabbing Rin's waist and hitting a Wheelbarrow Facebuster on the hard apron, causing for the fans to boo and for the champion to hold onto her face while Ami basking the negativity by sending a flying kiss to the camera and poses eventually.
"What a display of arrogance, can she even realize that there is a counting going on?" Shun complained as Ami indirectly heard Shun's question and sends herself back inside while she is waiting for Rin to respond.

Rin then begins to move and held her hands tight on the apron as she barely survives the count by the referee, much to the relief of the crowd. Meanwhile, Ami took advantage of a defenseless Rin when she continues the onslaught with multiple Garvin stomps, targeting her whole body.
"Ami Kawashima has been in favor of the match and she needs to utilize her time and momentum wisely because her opposition isn't just an opponent but the AVW Women's World Champion! And these stomps are a great equalizer to decimate the champion." Corey stated as Ami grabs the head of Rin and pushes her into the corner to give her a hard shot to the face.
Ami then whips Rin to the other corner, landing the champion face-first on the turnbuckles and subsequently grabbing Rin in a Belly-to-Back position and sending her to the mat by Ami with another Wheelbarrow Facebuster, causing for the fans to boo when Ami rolls Rin on her back to hook her leg, bridging her body extensively to make the count.

Rin's shoulder was up, much to the surprise of Ami.
"Ami has been targeting the face of the women's champion and it is not sufficient for Tohsaka to concede to the offense of Kawashima," Shun said as Ami grabs the hair of Rin and told her to stay down or she'll suffer more when Rin responded with a headshake, Ami got irritated by her defiance and slaps her hard that her head turned 90 degrees, but Ami was shocked that Rin's eyes were bloodshot to the cheers of the crowd.
"Looks like a scene from a horror film when Rin faces Kawashima! And she is not backing down from a slap like that!" Excalibur exclaimed as Rin yelled at Ami to punch her as the latter obliged and hits a hard shot to the face.
However, Rin's defiance was outstanding so much that Ami couldn't respond but only her mouth was wide open. But before she could fire the third shot, Rin took a step forward and hits a harder Forearm Shot to the face, followed by another, sending Ami to the ropes and Ami fires back with a Lariat, sending Rin to the mat and proceeds to mock the jeering crowd.
When she turns around, she did not see Rin kipping up to her feet in an instant and when she turns her back, she was met with her own Lariat, sending the crowd into a frenzy and Rin as well.
"Well, there you go! Rin Tohsaka has brought back the resurgence that she needed and introduced it to Kawashima in an explosive way!" Shun exclaimed as Rin fires a Clothesline, followed by another Clothesline then whips Ami to the ropes.
Ami attempts for a Running Crossbody but Rin catches her and scoops her up, sending her overhead into a corner with a Fallaway Slam, causing for the crowd to cheer her on.
"Like a sack of potatoes, Rin just throw Ami across the ring with that Fallaway Slam! My God, she is on a hot streak!" Corey said in amazement as Rin attempted to make a run towards Ami to the corner, only for the latter to sidestep to the boos of the crowd; however, Rin saw the evasion and stopped before she could hit the turnbuckles.
"Glad that Tohsaka was able to avoid hitting her body again from the turnbuckles, just learning the lesson from Ami that she went to the well too many times," Shun said as Ami took her turn to run towards Rin, who was able to slide through the middle rope to hit Ami with a Pendulum Kick, to the cheers of the crowd.
Rin then decides to climb up to the top turnbuckles while cupping her face in pain as she attempts a Top Rope Sunset Flip, sending Ami into a pinning predicament.

"A flurry of offense and a taste of her own medicine, Ami survived the whole onslaught after targeting the Women Champion's face on the turnbuckles," Excalibur said as Rin grabs the head of Ami to slap her a few times to the face and went running to the turnbuckles, attempting for a Running Tornado DDT but Ami was able to shove Rin right before she could spike her to the chagrin of the fans.
Rin attempts for a Clothesline but Ami ducked as she hits an STO, dumping her head on the mat as she went for a pin with a leg hooked while clasping both of her arms around the captured leg of Rin.

Rin kicks out as her name was heard when the crowd begins to mention the champion's name and Ami did not react to the chants very well.
"Rin kicked out by an instinct. I believe Ami felt that she will be another thorn in the champion's side when she wins this match but she needs to focus on how to gain a victory." Corey said as Ami mounts over Rin to punch her several times to the disdain of the crowd, yelling to Rin that 'she will suffer more than before'.
Ami then stands up to continue jeering a pro-Rin crowd, telling them that 'their champion should go home and take her ball-less ball with her'.
"Wow! Chicago is really taking Kawashima into their minds and her remarks reminded me of someone straight edge from this state as well," Corey said as Ami grabs an unconscious and swiped her crossed arms, signaling for the end as she attempts Under Pressure (Pumphandle Flipping Facebuster).
However, Rin surprisingly lands on her feet right before Ami could send her face to the mat as the champion grabs the arms of the latter from behind, attempting for a Fate/Switch (Unprettier), but Ami shoves Rin to the ropes, only for her to get cut in half by a Spear from Rin as she went for a cover with both legs hooked.

"Counter after counter, this match is still continuing despite throwing their best moves out of each other, and this signals for Tohsaka to execute that Fate/Switch that helped her win her Women's World Championship," Excalibur said as Rin wasted no time lifting Ami up, grabbing the arms of hers, and attempting for another Fate/Switch (Unprettier).
However, Ami counters the finishing move when she turns Rin around and kicks her to the stomach, lifting her up vertically and dropping her head into her knee with a Kneecap Brainbuster, automatically sending Ami for a cover.

Rin kicks out, much to the shock of Ami, and begins to argue with the referee on an alleged slow count while the crowd was beginning to cheer and chant 'This is awesome!'
"Kawashima with a second away on an upset here but she felt otherwise and decides to make arguments with the referee!" Shun said as Ami decides not to further the tension between her and the referee as she quickly picks up Rin.
Ami then attempts another Under Pressure (Pumphandle Flipping Facebuster), the crowd exploded when Rin counters mid-move into a DDT, spiking the head of Ami as both women were down on the mat at the center, could not capitalize on the situation.
"Unbelievable! Another counter by the women's champion off the Under Pressure from Kawashima and I think both of them have spent so much! The Chi-town is roaring with glee at the match!" Excalibur complimented as Rin showed signs of life when she tries to stand on her own with the help of the ropes.
The crowd's reaction turned 180 when Asuka showed up on the apron as Rin saw the arrival of her arch-nemesis and attempts to deck her but Asuka jumped off right before the fist could hit her, smirking at the champion's attempts to attack her. However, the crowd cheered when Rei Ayanami, from out of nowhere, attacks Asuka on the head a few times.
"There's Rei Ayanami, evening the odds for the champion but she has to look out for her opponent inside!" Corey exclaimed as Rin was distracted from the action outside, Ami took advantage and quickly rolls up Rin with a Schoolgirl Pin.

"…she's eyeing on the outside!" Shun continued as Rin decides to take a dive outside when she jumps to the middle turnbuckle to dive outside onto both Rei and Asuka with a Triangle Plancha, sending the crowd in awe.
"A Diving Crossbody by the Women's Champion! And I don't even know if this was a smart move from Tohsaka while a match is continuing." Corey commented as Rin knows the risk that she took and rolls back inside.

The bell rang in succession as the victor's theme was played eventually to the chorus of the boos while Rin was in disbelief and asked the referee if the match was over as the referee nodded.
"Here is your winner, Ami Kawashima!" Mai Sakurajima announced as the referee raised the arm of Ami before Rin attacks her and mounts her with ground-and-pound offense.
"Wow! What an upset victory by Ami Kawashima and she just pinned the women's champion!" Corey shouted in excitement.
"And a fatal mistake from the champion to take a second look at the action outside and with this error from the champion, the AVW Women's World Championship has escalated into a 4-Way match, with the addition of Ami Kawashima into the mix!" Excalibur stated as Asuka suddenly enters the ring to attack Rin from behind with a club on the back, earning boos from the crowd.
"And Asuka makes the save for Ami from an incensed champion and she is outnumbered again by these two!" Shun added as Rin tries to fight back only for both Asuka and Ami to gang up on her with a multitude of fists, raining on Rin. However, Asuka looked back on the outside to see Rei, who was backed up somehow but was hesitant on helping the champion.
"The numbers game is probably too much for the champion to handle and she couldn't put up a fight against the two of them!" Corey exclaimed as the camera saw Rei standing up on her own outside; however, the crowd was confused when she decides to walk towards the entrance ramp while Asuka smirked and shouted at Rei 'to go back where you belong'. "Wait, I think Rei is retreating and this is uncharacteristically not her mode of action when it comes to this situation."
"I think she just treated that dive off to the outside a few minutes ago from Tohsaka, an attack from her and there has to be a misunderstanding about this!" Shun said as Asuka smirked and told Rei to back off and stay away.
The crowd cheered again when Rin's student, Chitoge Kirisaki, attacked Asuka and turns her head to face her, and gave her a few punches to evening the odds for the champion. Meanwhile, Ami saw that her partner was getting attacked and took focused on the blondehead instead, causing the fans to boo.
"And Chitoge Kirisaki is here to save her mentor but the raining fists from these two are getting too much for her to handle too!" Corey exclaimed as Ami grabs the arms of Chitoge, who tries to release herself from the hold as Asuka smirked and took a good look on Chitoge's face.
Asuka then attempts a punch but the punch inadvertently hits Ami as Chitoge dodges the fist, causing the crowd to cheer again. Ami rolls outside eventually as Asuka was too stupefy to digest what just happened until she turns around to meet a High Knee Strike from Chitoge. The student saw her mentor standing up and gesturing her to give it to her as she nodded and she obliges when she tosses Asuka on Rin to hit a Spear on Asuka, turning her inside out while the crowd was cheering for the duo. Chitoge then asks Rin if she was alright and replies with a nod. Asuka then rolls outside while holding her gut.
"Asuka just made a mistake too and accidentally hits Ami with a right hand and both Chitoge and Rin took advantage of the situation and takes down Asuka!" Excalibur exclaimed as Chitoge raises her arms while Rin held on to the championship belt, which was given by the referee.
"There been a lot of miscommunications happening in the past few weeks and the match for the AVW Women's World Championship just keeps getting escalating and most importantly, interesting," Shun said as the camera transitions backstage, where both Karma Akabane and Nagisa Shiota were preparing for their respective matches for tonight and was sitting on different production crates, which the crowd booed when their presence showed up.
Backstage Area
"So… you have a match with The Shield Hero tonight, huh? And it's for a shot at the AVW Infinity Championship at Battle Chronicle?" Nagisa asked his partner and sneered. "You're lucky that you have a championship opportunity."
"Me? Lucky?" Karma replied as she flexes his arms. "That would be you since you're going for the AVW World Championship after you defeat Shinji Ikari."
Nagisa then nodded and wraps his wrist with tape heavily. "I know that we could defeat our opponents tonight. I know you could defeat Naofumi and I know that I could defeat Shinji and if we won our matches tonight, we could become champions at Philadelphia! That sounds good, right?"
"Yeah, I can imagine that but…" Karma paused as Nagisa's brow furrowed and wants to know what he is going to say. "…nah, nothing. Just some random thoughts driving me. But we have to do whatever we can to accomplish our goals and keep our friendship stronger."
Nagisa chuckled and nodded. "Yeah, definitely."
"Oh, by the way, I think my match is up next, I'll see you. Good luck!" Karma suddenly said and stood up as he waved at Nagisa right before he could disappear under the camera's view, leaving Nagisa alone.
"Bye!" Nagisa replied, waving back at his partner and continuing to prepare for his match for tonight. "Hehe, what a guy."
("Karma Police" by Radiohead) suddenly played in the arena as the crowd booed the redhead arriving on the ramp. He then plays with a knife in his hand, smirking at the crowd while approaching them on the ramp.
"The following contest is a Qualifying Match for the AVW Infinity Championship Ladder Match and is scheduled for one fall with a 15-minute time limit, introducing first, Karma Akabane!" Mai Sakurajima announced the first participant as the crowd gave him the thumbs down while Karma did not mind the gestures.
"Well, the story here is that after an outstanding match between the AVW World Champion Izuku Midoriya and Naofumi Iwatani, who just got attacked by Karma post-match, the Shield Hero requested a match against Karma and not only did the General Manager accept the request, she made it into a qualifying match for the AVW Infinity Championship Ladder Match at Battle Chronicle. How is that for a surprise, Corey?" Excalibur asked as Karma slowly enters the ring while a knife was still holding on his hand while the referee told him to give the weapon to him.
"It is quite a treat for us to see this match, especially that if both Karma and Nagisa win their respective matches here tonight, both of them will have a chance to become champions at Philadelphia! Now that's what I called a treat!" Corey exclaimed as Karma gave the knife to the referee as he waits for his opponent to arrive.
("RISE" by MADKID) played in the background as the Shield Hero appeared at the entrance, but did not gesture anything as he makes a run towards the ring, entered, and was glaring at Karma, who smirked back in response.
"And his opponent, he is 'The Shield Hero' Naofumi Iwatani!" Mai Sakurajima announced as the hero raised an arm with the cheering crowd in the background and surprises Karma as he undresses his cloak, he tackles Karma down to the mat and spams his fists towards Karma as the referee begins the match by signaling the timekeeper to ring the bell, earning cheers from the crowd.
"The Shield Hero could not wait any longer and drives Karma down to the mat with ground-and-pound offense!" Excalibur exclaimed as Naofumi picks up Karma by the hair and whips him to a corner, following him to hit a Running European Uppercut.
Naofumi did the same thing again when he whips Karma again to the other corner and hits a second European Uppercut and takes him down with a Snapmare, bouncing to the ropes and hitting a PK to the chest of Karma and proceeding for a cover.

Karma kicks out again, much to the boos of the crowd.
Naofumi picks Karma up and whips him to a corner as the shield hero went for a Corner Splash but Karma fires back with a Back Elbow, causing Naofumi to nurse his mouth but went for another Corner Splash attempt but only sends himself to the ring post, courtesy of Karma's shove, earning louder boos from him.
"Naofumi's shoulder hitting the ring post is not a good sign for the momentum of the Shield Hero to continue and remember the history of his then right shoulder. This vital detail may help Karma to his advantage!" Excalibur stated as Karma starts to kick Naofumi's back despite being stuck in the ring post.
Karma then took himself to jump from the mat to the floor outside, slingshotting himself to yank the possibly injured shoulder of Naofumi, sending the shield hero in pain and out of the corner while Karma taunted that 'his shoulder will be his downfall or he will bear the pain forever' before he could go back in the ring to stomp the heck out of Naofumi.
"You're right, Excalibur. Karma's eyes are focused on that right shoulder, where he utilizes his Go to Shield uppercut and he firstly and methodically decimates Naofumi." Corey replied as Karma added salt to the wound by stomping the said shoulder with impact, earning more boos and it continued for a few seconds.
Karma mount over the prone Naofumi and gave him a few ground-and-pound offenses until he grabs the harmed shoulder and locked in the Key Lock as Naofumi squirms with his feet, trying to get off from the submission as the hold was synching deep. The crowd began to cheer for Naofumi and chant his name.
"A submission was locked in Naofumi and Karma, just like his buddy, Nagisa is also a quite skilled specialist when it comes to these submissions and Naofumi could have a hard time figuring out how to escape from such a lethal hold," Shun said.
After a few seconds, Naofumi's feet began to move and uses the feet to push himself towards the nearest bottom rope despite his vision being blocked by the presence of Karma, who was still locking the submission deeply. And after what seems to be an eternity, Naofumi successfully hangs a foot on the bottom rope, leading the referee to scold Karma to release the hold but to no avail; therefore, the referee begins to count until Karma let go of Naofumi's shoulder in time before the 5-count.
"Great strategy by Karma despite the foot hanging on the rope, he utilizes the five count from the referee to keep the pressure of the hold until he had no choice but to follow the referee's rule," Corey said as Karma grabs Naofumi up.
Karma then whips him to the ropes and he catches him, scooping him up to hit a Shoulderbreaker on the injured shoulder of Naofumi as he went for a cover with a leg hooked.

Naofumi kicks out as Karma continues the assault by dropping a knee to the said shoulder of Naofumi, causing the hero to scream in pain while the crowd boos the red-haired assassin.
"The much more Karma can inflict damage to the shoulder, Naofumi might have dislocated or separated, or worst and he needs to come up with this snarky tactic by Karma!" Excalibur exclaimed as Karma picks up Naofumi again to hit a few haymakers to the face to the dislike of the fans.
Karma decides to send himself to the ropes but Naofumi kicks Karma to the gut as Naofumi shook the shoulder of concern to run back to its normal course, attempting for a Powerbomb. When Naofumi slowly lifts Karma in the air, the latter fought back with punches to the face, causing the momentum to shift on his side, and sent himself to the corner hanging himself on the ropes while a Cross Armbreaker submission was locked in.
"Unbelievable! Karma can execute such submission even if he is in a troubling predicament and uses the ropes to his advantage too!" Shun complimented Karma's sneaky strategies as Naofumi was shouting in agony as the crowd booed for the counter.
The referee intervened as he starts to count on Karma until he releases the hold and smirked on the irate fans nearby, causing him to land on the apron slowly. Karma took advantage of the situation of Naofumi nursing his shoulder in the ring as he climbs up to the top turnbuckle, waiting for the right moment to strike.
When Naofumi saw Karma, the redhead jumped off the turnbuckle to hit an aerial attack but Naofumi surprisingly catches Karma despite the pain etching in his face as he hits a T-Bone Suplex, sending Karma for a ride across the ring, causing for the fans to cheer again and chanting for his name.
"Oh, wow! Naofumi somehow finds a way to fight back and that T-Bone Suplex was a bit of a saving grace for the Shield Hero to alleviate the situation." Corey said as the referee begins to count the downed men.
After a slow but painful count, both men were in opposite corners, leaning in to alleviate the pain in their bodies, especially for Naofumi, whose name was shouted continuously in the arena. Karma then spoils the party as he attempts to run on Naofumi to the other corner but was whacked by Naofumi's lifting boot to stop the incoming attack.
Naofumi then surges enough energy to take down Karma with a Clothesline, and a second Clothesline, using the good arm of his. He then shook the bad arm to gain blood flow from it as he whips Karma back to the corner as he runs towards him and squashes him with a Running Corner Splash, sending Karma staggering out of the corner as Naofumi launches Karma in the air with a Back Body Drop, earning powerful cheers from the crowd.
"Wow! Look at the height that Karma got from that Back Body Drop despite Naofumi dealing with a possible hurt shoulder, this is a miracle effort from him," Excalibur said as Naofumi grabs Karma to slam him down on his knee with a Side Slam Backbreaker but he did not let go yet as he hits another Backbreaker onto Karma, who arches his back in pain and Naofumi proceeds for a cover.

Karma kicks out and instinctively rolls out of the ring to the chorus of boos while Naofumi took his time on stretching his injured shoulder.
"Great awareness by Karma, he knew the severity of the offenses of Naofumi and wisely sends himself outside to take a breather," Corey said as Naofumi rolls outside as well and saw that Karma was standing up on the barricade and made a full-speed across the ringside to knock Karma with a Running European Uppercut with his good arm to the cheers of the crowd.
"Huge uppercut by Naofumi and he's been utilizing his other good arm to knock Karma's face and teeth!" Shun exclaimed as Naofumi grabs Karma and hits a Side Slam on the edge of the barricade to the awes of the crowd.
However, Karma suddenly yanks the injured shoulder of Naofumi against the barricade to the boos from the audience as Naofumi is screaming in pain again and clutches the said shoulder.
"Karma with a snake-like ability to fire back within the opponent's move and is able to target that shoulder of Naofumi!" Excalibur said as Karma reaches his back to rub the pain but soldiered on as he jumps to the barricade and aims to leap off Naofumi.
When Karma sees Naofumi turning, he attempts to take him down but Naofumi somehow catches him and hits a Back Suplex on the ring apron, causing for the fans to lighten up and is rooting for the Shield Hero, who rolls Karma back inside the ring, followed by Naofumi, who makes for a cover in a Lateral Press.

Naofumi attacks Karma's back with his good forearm by clubbing him a few times before he could lift him up in a Fireman's Carry position, attempting for a Go to Shield (Fireman's Carry into Uppercut) but Karma fights back with a few elbow shots, stunning the hero as the assassin counters with a Crucifix Pin.

Instead of continuing the pin, Karma then adjusts himself to extend his body to execute the Cross Armbreaker to the injured arm of Naofumi, sending the crowd shouting 'No' as soon as the submission was intact.
"Oh! Great transition into the Juji Gatame, the Cross Armbreaker! The immense prowess and skill of Karma is purely showing here!" Excalibur exclaimed as Karma screams at Naofumi to 'tap out', with the latter screaming in pain while the referee watches the predicament happening.
"It's all down to the referee to make a keen observation of Naofumi's lip language and his movements but I think Naofumi is trying to fight off the submission!" Corey added as Naofumi tries to fight Karma with his good arm; however, Karma smartly releases the submission right before Naofumi fights back as Karma moves to the other arm to lock in the Cross Armbreaker, sending the crowd booing. "Wow! This is a great strategy from Karma to take control of the other arm, the good arm, which Naofumi can utilize properly!"
Naofumi then took a few seconds to stand up slowly, deadlifting Karma while still in the submission, and tosses Karma to the corner with a Buckle Bomb, sending both men collapsing to the mat, earning cheers and applauses from the fans.
"Unbelievable! Naofumi barely escaped the wrath of the sly Karma and put the submission on hold with a vicious Buckle Bomb! That was amazing!" Excalibur praised both men as they both began to rise up to their feet despite the agony carving on their faces.
"Their faces say it all, it feels eternity for both of them to take down each other but no one is staying down until at the count of three," Shun added as both men shot down on each other, offering to attack freely.
Naofumi then decides to start as he punches Karma to the face with Karma firing back to the chorus of boos. The crowd reacted differently when both of them fired their fists at one another, the exchange lasted for fifteen seconds until Naofumi dominated the trade after firing continuous shots to Karma's face until he starts to stagger.
Naofumi then whips Karma, who reverses the whip as Naofumi got tripped by a Drop Toe Hold by Karma, attempting for his Instant Karma (Omoplata Crossface) submission but Naofumi counters with a quick Schoolboy Pin.

Karma kicks out as Naofumi instantly picks him up in a Fireman's Carry until Karma fights back with elbow shots to the back of the neck, causing Naofumi to slowly collapse as the crowd booed.
Karma saw Naofumi fading in an instant as he immediately grabs the injured arm and successfully locks in Instant Karma (Omoplata Crossface) as Naofumi is writhing in pain and attempted to break the rope but Karma was able to roll him back to the center of the ring.
"The Instant Karma is heavily locked in and Naofumi is in the center of the ring and has nowhere to go if he can't move for a short few seconds, this could be lights out him and his opportunity at Battle Chronicle!" Excalibur cried as Naofumi screamed in pain as he tries to move but the weight of Karma's body left him unable to move an inch.
The crowd was loudly speaking Naofumi's name but Karma shouts at Naofumi to 'tap' as he also screams as he was on the verge of loosening his big weight as Naofumi slowly moves from the hold and attempted to counter with another roll-up but Karma defiantly rolls Naofumi back with the submission still intact while Naofumi is in trouble.
"How in the world is Naofumi withstanding all of this punishment?!" Corey said in amazement as Naofumi kept screaming in pain as Karma was also screaming to 'tap' loudly while the crowd was rallying behind the Shield Hero.

Naofumi tries to move again but the pain in his arm was palpable and sends reactions to his face as his hand is raised in the air, telling if he was succumbing to the lock or not.

However, a minute of the submission locking in on the injured part was too much for Naofumi to handle as he has no choice but to tap out at the center of the ring, leading the referee to ring the bell, causing Karma to let go to take a breather while Naofumi clutches the injured arm as the crowd, instead of booing Karma, they were applauding the match itself as both men were down to digest the match.
"Here is your winner by submission, Karma Akabane!" Mai Sakurajima announced the victor as the referee checked on both men, especially at Naofumi. Karma then shouts at the referee to hold his arm and raised it for him, which the referee obliged.
"What a great and amazing effort for The Shield Hero himself, surviving and striving on whatever he can utilize to escape the wrath of the slick transitions from Karma but it wasn't his night, unfortunately," Shun said as a few medical staff checked on Naofumi, who was slouching in the corner.
"Karma used his scheming tactics to counter every possible move that Naofumi can put on and this helped him win and advance to the Ladder Match for the AVW Infinity Championship at Battle Chronicle!" Corey added as Karma rolls out of the ring to stand on the ramp and tells to the camera that 'the belt is waiting for him'.
"So close yet so far away is his chances of another opportunity for Naofumi but we are hoping that he'll get another soon," Excalibur commented as the camera transitions to the backstage area, where both Ami Kawashima and Asuka Langley Soryu were in a dark room with mixed facial expressions on their faces.
Backstage Area
"Well, Asuka, I did win the match and I have just added to the Women's Title match at Battle Chronicle, isn't that great?" Ami said enthusiastically to Asuka, who was strolling back and forth around, confusing Ami. "Are you alright? Did that minion of Tohsaka piss you off that you can't take on her?"
The question stopped Asuka in her tracks and stares at Ami, who was visibly frightened by the sight of Asuka's laser-focused glare on her.
"No! Excuse me for not taking her out instantly since that Ayanami kept trying to stop me from beating her! And what are you implying about that? Not beating her? Ha! If I was pissed off right now then I'd shout at you vehemently and we will call out alliance over." Asuka answered in a serious tone, causing Ami to gulp but Asuka smiled at her, baffling Ami in the process with this change of expression. "In fact, I was happy, happy that you've won your match. Congratulations! Now since it has become a four-way for the AVW Women's World Championship at Battle Chronicle, there is one more thing to do and that is to become the new champion, and that all is well!"
Ami scratched her head, sheepishly chuckling that she was able to dodge a bullet.
"Oh, right… But hey, I should remind you that I'll be inviting you as the special guest next week for the next episode of Ami Plus! It would be a pleasure with you to talk to you more, as a friend." Ami offered Asuka a hand on her, which she hesitated at first but eventually shook it.
"Sure, it would be a pleasure to have me on your talk show," Asuka answered as they continue the gesture until the camera pans to the commentary desk.
"Hey, what do you know?! Is Asuka Langley Soryu on the new episode of Ami Plus next week? It's already Christmas in April!" Corey ecstatically cried as Shun rolled his eyes. "It's a celebration that we don't want to miss either!"
"Well, before we could proceed to the next match…" Excalibur paused. "…Last week, we have seen backstage that Ristarte has been sent a message that made her scared dearly, and turns out, she was subject to send her presence to the office of the General Manager. Here's what happened there inside."
General Manager's Office
Ristarte was gulping fear, thinking of the things she wanted to say as she eventually knocks on the door twice, hearing the voice of the General Manager, shouting at her to come inside as she obliged and enters the room to take a seat, still feeling nervous about the presence of another alleged 'goddess' beside her.
"Good day, Miss Teruhashi! I-I can explain about it!" Ristarte began and was panicking when she begins to plead.
"No, Miss Rista. There's no need for explanation, it was clear that there was a breach of contract for what you did two weeks ago in a match. Intervening and physically attacking a manager on ringside without any proper consultation is a clear violation of your contract. So, therefore, as of tonight, effective immediately, Miss Ristarte, I hereby terminate your contract as a backstage interviewer." The general manager bluntly announced, leaving Ristarte speechless and looking depressed in her chair and having nothing to argue about since it happened. The crowd was disappointed instead of booing because of how Ristarte reacted to the news.
"Y-Yes. I understand." Ristarte only nodded, accepting her fate as a workless goddess.
Teruhashi presented a contract, presumably the termination paper, and asks Rista to sign her signature on it, obliging subsequently as she sadly wrote her patented signature on the paper. The GM hid the paper back and face Ristarte.
"Do you think that your actions there were justified?"
"Yes!" Ristarte's head lit up and answered straightforwardly. "I know what I did but it is to balance the injustice that was going on at that time, my instincts kicked in and I just have to rush on ringside and my mind went battle mode and pounced on Haruhi Suzumiya, who just distracting Seiya in his match. But even though he didn't even say anything about having any backup but he did lose because… of me. So, I don't even know what I am going to do if he ever sees my face again, I'm so ashamed of what I did, I shouldn't have stuck my nose to his business." She began to crack down on words as she barely fought any emotions.
While Ristarte was having an emotional confession, GM Teruhashi was listening to her side and was assessing her justification as her head lit up as if she has something to bring up. She did bring up a clipboard, containing a few pages of paper and she offers the board to Ristarte, who saw what she brought in.
"Huh? What's this?" Ristarte asked.
"Well, it would be rude if I terminated someone face-to-face, especially since we are live in a dynamic crowd of Chicago." GM Teruhashi answered, causing for the crowd to cheer when they heard the mention of their city. "I'm not sure how to put it but your actions are already justified."
Ristarte gasped and was stuttering in her tone. "W-Wait a minute… s-so that means…"
"Yeah, you're fired as a backstage interviewer but you're hired as a manager! Congratulations!" The GM congratulated the now-new manager as Ristarte's eyes shone brightly as she signed the contract quickly, earning louder cheers from the crowd. "You may sign that contract and you're good to go!"
After signing the deal, Ristarte then sheepishly chuckles, scratching her head, feeling embarrassed at what just happened moments ago.
"B-But Miss Teruhashi, why didn't you just promote me instead?" Ristarte asked.
The GM chuckled in response and added. "You see, I just want to see your genuine reaction about it and it turns out, I was right. And also, a new role means a new contract, so I just have to tell you that unfortunately."
Ristate was easily flushed by the explanation of GM and shrugged it off as she shook hands with her.
"Thank you so much, Miss Teruhashi! I appreciate the effort even though it was embarrassing, hehe."
"No worries." GM Teruhashi replied while their hands are still intact with one another. "But one more thing."
"Huh?" Ristarte reacted, stopping the handshake instantly.
"There is a reason I have given you the job of being a manager because the match between these two is official at Battle Chronicle and I need you to manage one of those individuals." GM Teruhashi explained as Ristarte's eyebrow raised. "Can you do the job?"
"Yes, Miss Teruhashi. But who's that person?"
"Oh," GM Teruhashi chuckled. "You don't know? You already know him, silly. I'm talking about Seiya! He'll have a match against Sakuta Azusagawa on Battle Chronicle and you'll be on his side at that event!"
Ristarte's face froze, presumably in fear after hearing the news as the GM's hand was released despite the tightness of the hands of Ristarte. The crowd began to laugh at the blonde goddess.
"B-B-But-but-but—"
"No buts, if both of you can't reconcile before the event then I don't know if my efforts for this will go to waste but I'm looking for your reunion soon!" The GM interrupted an anxious Ristarte. "Now, that's all, session adjourned, get out of the office!"
"But—"
"Get out or I'll call security." The GM teases Ristarte and was holding a phone as Ristarte obliged as her face was still glued in fear before she exited the office, leaving GM Teruhashi alone, chuckling at herself, and went back to her usual work.
"Wait, getting fired and getting hired is possible? I never even imagine happening it but wow…" Corey surprisingly commented on the segment.
"But hey, it's better than being jobless but Ristarte sure has a heavy-duty to do before Battle Chronicle," Shun added.
"Nevertheless, another match has been added to a stacked card of Battle Chronicle! Seiya with Ristarte in his corner, if they ever reconcile, against Sakuta Azusagawa!" Excalibur announced.
The camera focuses back in the ring where a competitor was preparing for his match against someone.
"This match is scheduled for one fall and with a 15-minute time limit. Introducing first, from the Academy City, Touma Kamijou!" Mai Sakurajima announced as the said individual was waiting alone on a corner.
"Looks like we will have a match between these two after last week when their Mixed Tag Team Match ended in an odd manner and Touma's partner, Mikoto Misaka, just tagged him along and this miscommunication just cost them. But tonight, he is looking to even the odds against his opponent." Excalibur stated.
("The Arms of Sorrow" by Killswitch Engage) played in the arena as the lights as an individual showed, whose face was visibly etched with a scar on his cheek, gestured a gun shooting towards his opponent, making his way towards the ring.
"And his opponent, Sousuke Sagara!" Mai Sakurajima announced the other participant, who made his way inside the ring by climbing up the stairs and through the ropes to meet Touma in the center.
"Without any presence of both Kaname Chidori and Mikoto Misaka makes a difference and we'll see how it turns out in this match," Shun said as the referee calls the timekeeper to ring the bell as both men circled around the ring to see who is getting the upper hand.
The match began when a tie-up was executed until it was broken when they switch gears with Waistlock, reversing the lock a few times, and ended with Sousuke getting the upper hand, only for Touma to take him down with a Snapmare as he bounces to the ropes to hit a Basement Dropkick to the face of Sousuke.
"So far, their encounter tonight has been different from what we saw last week and Touma tries to keep the pace in his favor to take down his opponent," Shun said as Touma grabs Sousuke's head and took a few shots to his face, eventually whipping him to the corner as he ran to him and hits a Corner Clothesline and a second Corner Clothesline.
Touma continued his momentum when he takes down Sousuke again with a Snapmare and went to the ropes and hits another Basement Dropkick to the face of Sousuke and went for the cover with a leg hooked.

Sousuke kicks out as he grabs Sousuke by the hair and continues the onslaught by giving him a few Knife Edge Chops.
"Touma, able to keep his momentum on his side and you are right, Kaido, it changes everything when you take out the girls in the equation and he seizes the moment Sosuke couldn't fight back to his offense," Corey said as Touma attempts to whip Sousuke again to the corner.
Touma went to Sousuke to the corner, only for the latter to fight back with a Back Elbow and turn the tides when he hits a Clothesline, a second Clothesline, followed up by an Irish Whip, which was reversed by Touma as Sosuke went to the ropes. Touma attempts to launch Sousuke, who saw that he was bowing and kicks the chest of his to avoid the launch. Sousuke then picks up Touma with his leg and hits a Release Fishermen Suplex, where the crowd finally shared their positive reactions to the counterpart of Kaname.
"Touma went to the well too many times and Sousuke saw an opening, offering an array of strikes and a Fishermen Suplex. Can the lightning strike twice for Sousuke?" Excalibur asked as Sousuke grabs Touma, attempting to hit the Lambda Driver (Shingo Takagi's Made in Japan) only for Touma to escape the grasp as he shoves Sousuke to the rope and hits a Kitchen Sink Knee Strike to the gut of Sousuke.
"And just like that, the tables have turned in an instant as Touma is able to recover!" Corey exclaimed as Touma gave Sousuke a few shots to his body, anything that is prone to him until he glances at the ropes. "I think Touma is calling a déjà vu here!"
Touma then bounces to the ropes as he hits a Knee Trembler on Sousuke's face; however, after hitting his knee to the face of his opponent, he knelt on his knee to clutch the knee that he used and calls the referee to look after him, causing for the fans and Sousuke to look at Touma in confusion.
"Uh-oh, I think Touma's knee gave way! And it's not looking good on his part and the referee is looking at it." Shun said as Sousuke didn't have time for any pity as he grabs Touma and hits the Lambda Driver (Shingo Takagi's Made in Japan) at the center of the ring.

The bell rang in succession as the crowd was noticeably silent and confused by the situation and nevertheless, the referee raises Sosuke's arm.
"Here is your winner, Sousuke Sagara!" Mai Sakurajima announced as Sosuke rolls out of the ring alone, leaving the referee to check on Touma's knee.
"It's quite rather unfortunate that a second that Touma gains the upper hand, something bad happens to him and I don't even know if fate decides to intervene," Corey said.
"But before that, we are 11 days away from Batt—"
The commentary POV was interrupted and halted by a sudden transition to a wooden bookshelf as a hand was grabbing a book, eventually revealing it to be a dictionary. When the hand opened the contents of the book, it stopped flipping until it came across the word 'addendum'.
Addendum (n.)
A thing added: A supplement to a book – often used in plural but singular in construction.
The hand then moved forward to flip more pages before it came to a halt as it stumbled upon the word 'hell'.
Hell (n.)
A place or state of misery, torment, or wickedness
A place or state of turmoil or destruction
The hand suddenly closed the dictionary but the camera sighted the cover of the dictionary, which turned out to be a blood-like color and was titled 'The Dictionary to Hell' and all of a sudden, the camera turns around to be the girl in yukata, in which her sanguine eyes were beamed with bloodshot beside its iris, glaring to the camera.
Then, the screen turns black as the broadcasting went back inexplicably, seeing back to the commentary desk.
"What a stacked card we have and we're just a week and a few days ahead! This is gonna be for the books, no pun intended!" Shun exclaimed.
"But let's get to another thing that happened last week, while interviewing, Kill la Familia has been assaulted backstage by Team Stratos, although their friends in The Mage Sisters evening the odds, the chair that was brought by Laura Bodewig was advantageously effective in taking down the four of them ahead of their Street Fight for the Women's Tag Team Championships at Battle Chronicle," Excalibur stated. "And tonight, I think one of the teams has given us a message towards their opponents."
The camera transitions to the backstage, where the four members of Team Stratos were on the isolated part of the arena and was looking confident at themselves. The crowd booed their presence as they started chanting 'USA'.
Backstage Area
"So, are you ready? Are you ready to fight?" The speaker, Cecilia Alcott spoke with a menacing glare. "Guess what? We are ready and at Battle Chronicle, your chances of shining through in this game of yours will be over when we beat you for our AVW Women's Tag Team Championships! We know you've been asking for this and we shall deliver it to you right away! Last week, we did just that and your asses and your ridiculous lackeys are served in a heap of defeat! And for next week, we might as well do the same thing we did last week. We're going all out – us versus Kill la Familia and The Mage Sisters in an 8-Woman Tag Match!" Cecilia announced as the other members nodded and their eyes says that they wanted to destroy the other quartet more.
"I know you want this badly but sadly, you can't find us tonight and instead we're just going to send you a message so that you could either back out for next week or if you insist, we'll take the initiative on destroying you all for good right before Battle Chronicle." Cecilia continued as they smirked in front of the camera, indicating that the segment has ended and the camera transitions back to the commentary desk with the crowd chanting 'USA' continuously.
"Well, that's another news to me. An 8-Woman Tag Match next week between Team Stratos and the quartet of Kill la Familia and The Mage Sisters? Sounds like there's more than carnage that's going to happen next week." Corey said. "And for next week too, SOS Brigade has thrown out a challenge to three different talents in a Trios Match but with their new addition, Hitagi Senjougahara will be on their corner instead of Haruhi Suzumiya, who will unfortunately sit at home after a brutal awakening from Ochako Uraraka!"
"And right now, we have breaking news regarding the final slot in the AVW Infinity Championship Ladder Match! It's going to be 5 men, who lost their respective qualifying matches in these past few weeks, facing each other in a Last Chance Gauntlet Match! Featuring an already battered 'Shield Hero' Naofumi Iwatani, Sakuta Azusagawa, Seiya, Akihito Kanbara, and Kazuma Sato, with the last man standing occupying the final slot in the Ladder Match at Battle Chronicle!" Excalibur announced.
"Whoa, boy, the road to Battle Chronicle continues to be strained and epic at the same time! I can't wait!" Shun said ecstatically.
("Faster" by There for Tomorrow) was played in the arena where smoke began to fill up the ramp, where the World Champion appeared behind to a loud and explosive crowd as he raises the title up for the fans to see. He then went to the side of the ramp to meet with the commentary crew and shook hands with them.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, who will be on the commentary for the main event of the night, the AVW World Champion Izuku Midoriya!" Mai Sakurajima announced as the crowd cheered. Izuku was offered a fourth chair by Shun and sat beside him to watch the action from their point of view.
"And we won't forget what our champion has said earlier tonight, he will be taking a seat from the commentary desk for the main event, which is about to happen in just a few minutes!" Excalibur said as he faces the champion. "Welcome to the desk, champ! Pleasure to see you!"
"Hey there, gentlemen, also glad to see you, Excalibur, Kaido, and Mr. Corey Graves!" Izuku greeted the trio commentators while Corey looked at him as if he was doubting him.
"Well, likewise, Mr. Midoriya. But I have a question that some of the critics are seemingly aware of observing – there are times that you were not on the show itself and actually, there are times that you haven't been appearing a few times though you're the World Champion. Is there any response to this?" Corey asked.
"Thanks for the question, Mr. Graves. But I believe that this question would be answered when the right time comes." Izuku answered as he waves to the nearest fans beside the desk.
"Okay, sure, but are you alluding to something? I believe you're doing something personal or possibly, behind the backs of the company rather than committing as the champion." Corey countered.
"I mean, personal things, you are right about that but doing something that may offend the company? That sounds like you're criticizing me, but I digress. If my comment is alluring into something then it might be a big deal, rather it might be a big time."
"Right. Now, I believe the main event is about to commence in a few moments." Excalibur said.
("Dark in My Imagination by of Verona) is currently playing in the arena as the blue-haired assassin casually walks to the ramp while playing with a knife, eyeing Izuku and his belt on the table nonchalantly before entering the ring.
"The following match is the main event of the evening with a 30-minute time limit! Introducing first, from Tokyo, Japan – Nagisa Shiota!" Mai Sakurajima announced as the crowd booed the young blue blood while his eyes were focused on Midoriya, whose eyes him in return.
"Those eyes, they're so maniacal, isn't it, Midoriya?" Shun asked.
"Yeah, but first, he has to defeat his familiar foe in Shinji Ikari and I'm looking forward to seeing on who has the chance on facing me at Battle Chronicle," Izuku answered.
The knife has been confiscated by the referee and Nagisa's eyes then focus on the tron, where he waits for his foe to arrive.
("Never Die" by All Good Things) lastly played over the arena as the final competitor arrives in the entranceway when a shower of pyro from above went off as he poses with a fist raised in the air before he could continue marching on the ramp, not focusing on the fans, who try to interact as his concentration is on his opponent.
"It all comes down to this. After suffering the most in this rift, Shinji finally gets his shot on Nagisa with ramifications towards Battle Chronicle with the victor facing the World Champion!" Excalibur stated as Shinji's eyes were fixed on Nagisa, who was waiting for him to enter the ring.
"Interesting note though, these past few weeks, Shinji has no intentions on the championship but only for Midoriya; however, Nagisa says otherwise and it just won't get to his head that he definitely has intentions on the title," Corey added.
"As you can see, also, there's no sign of Nagisa's buddy, Karma, who went through a beating with Naofumi Iwatani earlier. But we're not guaranteeing that he might show up in some capacity." Shun said as both Shinji and Nagisa faced off in the center of the ring.
"All these defeats will probably pay off on the side of Shinji but Nagisa, it would be a pleasure to him to be challenging Midoriya for the championship. But one has to think, who has the edge between these two?" Excalibur asked as the referee signals the timekeeper to ring the bell as it did, both men circling around the ring.
The stalling ended when both were locked up to the center of the ring until Shinji gain advantage and sent Nagisa to a corner while both were locked up before the referee intervened to start counting as Shinji raised his hands and suddenly shoves Nagisa back to the corner, causing for the fans to cheer; however, Nagisa was unfazed by the shove has been given. Both men went back to the center to meet again.
"There's that hint of what's to come for Nagisa when Shinji is inside the ring and he's not just an easy get-to-go person but he's a different person when you meet him inside the squared circle," Excalibur said as both went for the tie-up until Nagisa took charge and sends to the corner with the referee interfering the interaction as he began to count, leading to Nagisa to raise hands and decides to shove Shinji, avenging for what he did to him a minute ago, earning boos from the crowd. However, Shinji reacted and wants to go with Nagisa, who smirked in response.
"Anything you can do, I can do it better, Excalibur. You don't want to ignore Nagisa's eyes and it spells intimidation and provocation, but also intensity." Corey commented as Shinji attempts to charge Nagisa, only to catch him with a Hip Toss but Shinji lands on his feet; however, Nagisa also attempted to charge Shinji, who also answers with a Hip Toss and Nagisa unsurprisingly lands on his feet, ending with a stalemate, leading for the fans to applaud.
The match continues when they locked up in the center again but Nagisa gains favor and transitions to a Side Headlock, only for Shinji to push Nagisa to the ropes, pushing Nagisa to the other ropes as he takes Shinji with a Shoulder Tackle, sending Shinji down and the fans to booing mode. Nagisa bounces to the ropes as Shinji drops down and Nagisa went to the other side of the ring to bounce, which made Shinji leapfrog above Nagisa, who ricochets to the ropes.
However, Shinji caught Nagisa and hits a Deep Arm Drag, in which, Nagisa also hits his own Arm Drag to Shinji. Nagisa then attempts a chop as Shinji ducks the attempt and grabs Nagisa's head with a Side Headlock. Nagisa barely escapes the hold as he uses his weight to send Shinji to the ropes and shoves him to the other side as Shinji takes down Nagisa with a Shoulder Tackle to a positive reaction from the fans. Shinji went to the ropes as Nagisa drops down with Shinji bouncing to the other ropes while Nagisa leapfrogs above Shinji's head.
When Shinji bounces again to the ropes, he was caught by Nagisa with a Side Headlock Takeover with Shinji quickly counters with Headscissors but Nagisa escapes. Both men stood up simultaneously as Shinji fires back with his own Side Headlock Takeover on Nagisa, only for the latter to counter with his own Headscissors but Shinji also escapes from the hold as the crowd was clapping for both men, who stood back immediately.
"This is unbelievable, both men thinking the same moves in just a few moves and no one is still taking damage. This is mind-boggling!" Izuku reacted amazingly as Nagisa told the crowd to 'shut up' with them reacting to jeers.
"You are right, it is quite amazing and it dawned on me that this is a reminiscence of what happened in the first few minutes of the main event of Winter Warfare, did that ring a bell to you, Mr. Midoriya?" Excalibur asked the champion, who nodded immediately.
"This octane-inducing crowd is really hot for Nagisa and they couldn't take their eyes off him," Corey said as Shinji took advantage of the situation by taking Nagisa down with a Side Headlock Takedown, but Nagisa saw it coming as he counters the hold with Headscissors.
Shinji attempts to escape but Nagisa's legs were tightly shut as Shinji was trapped, only lasted for a few seconds as Shinji finds a way by slowly adjusting his body and rolling on his stomach to do a risky headstand, earning cheers from the crowd. Nagisa tries to spike the head of Shinji but the latter knew it was coming as he jumped backward to escape the hold.
Shinji then grabs the legs as he glances between a squirming Nagisa and to the turnbuckles as he smirked. But turns out Shinji was playing with him as he went for a Jackknife Pin.

The crowd was in awe when Nagisa was able to bridge himself and Shinji up and turns him around, attempting for a Backslide but Shinji also fights to make the Backslide attempt, only for his strength to give way for Nagisa to flip him over his head, landing on his feet before he could escape and rolls out of the ring.
"Oh, yeah, brushing it off by leaving the ring, how original that is," Shun complained as the fans were jeering at Nagisa, who ignores them and was completely focused on Shinji, who bounces to the ropes attempting for a dive but Nagisa enters back the ring while Shinji slides off to the outside.
When Shinji turns around, Nagisa mocks him by sitting on the mat and feigning weeping on Shinji, indicating that he is a crybaby. Shinji got triggered by the mockery as he enters back the ring while Nagisa tries to run away from him again but Shinji catches him with a Waistlock, only for Nagisa to reverse the lock with his own Waistlock until they did the Standing Switch for a few seconds before Nagisa gain advantage as he sweeps the leg of Shinji, grabbing the arm of his, attempting for a Cross Armbreaker.
However, Shinji quickly raises Nagisa while on hold and attempts for a Powerbomb but Nagisa was able to wriggle out and flips Shinji with a Sunset Flip Pin.

Shinji kicks out as Nagisa stood up first, attempting a sneaky attack but Shinji trips him again with a Drop Toe Hold. Surprisingly, Shinji uses his ability on submissions as he begins to squeeze the lower hips of Nagisa with his feet, who was cursing in pain, eventually wrapping the legs of Nagisa with his and begins to pull his arms but Nagisa squirms to avoid the Romero Special; however, Shinji instead went for the nose of Nagisa and pulls it hardly as he could to the cheers of the crowd. The referee begins to count until Shinji raises his hands before 5 but he then uses the wrapped legs by stomping the lower hips of Nagisa, causing Nagisa to scream in pain.
"Wow! This is a surprise! Shinji isn't the one who loves to make the most of the submissions but I applaud him for trying something new like what he did just now!" Corey complimented Shinji, who mocks Nagisa and tells him that 'I can do what you can do', beckoning him to 'come down'.
"Oh, this is getting interesting. I would like to know where this is going!" Izuku commented as Nagisa attempts to run Shinji, who was on the corner but Nagisa was able to stop before bumping into the turnbuckles.
Nagisa attempts to poke Shinji's eye but the latter blocks the arm and serves him with a few punches to the face until he stopped and pokes fun at Nagisa's chest as he delivers a loud Knife Edge Chop on the prone chest of the androgynous star, sending Nagisa in a world of pain.
"Oh! That sounds like a gunshot if you ask me." Shun said in shock as Shinji continues the corner barrage with a few stomps to the gut until the referee came to warn Shinji, earning boos from the crowd.
Shinji raises his arms but before he could continue, Nagisa surprises Shinji and trips him to the middle turnbuckle with a Drop Toe Hold, landing on his face and eventually to the louder boos from the fans. Nagisa gives Shinji a taste of his medicine when he chops the chest of Shinji, followed by multiple stomps but was stopped by the referee, who was counting behind him.
"So far, it's been a fair game to both men and they know what's at stake here but nonetheless, their prowess is nothing to laugh at just because they're playing one-upmanship," Excalibur said as Nagisa grabs the hair of Shinji and kicks him to the gut, subsequently hitting a Snap Suplex, floating over the body of Shinji to make a cover.

Shinji kicks out immediately as Nagisa also instantly grabs Shinji, and whips him to the ropes but Shinji saw Nagisa bowing, anticipating for him to get launched as he kicks the chest of Nagisa. Shinji then throws shade at Nagisa as he hits his own Vertical Suplex and went for the cover.

Nagisa kicks out while the crowd booed.
Shinji then picks up Nagisa, attempting for a Body Slam but Nagisa was able to slip off the grasp of Shinji and pokes the eye of Shinji, causing for the fans to boo while the referee did not see the illegal move.
"Now, this is really out of hand, Nagisa with his underhanded tactics and the referee is shortsighted, did not even see the eye poke," Shun said as Nagisa takes down Shinji with a Chop Block, sending Shinji kneeling on a single knee, followed up by a DDT to Shinji's head.
"You know, Kaido, we have seen a few matches that featured him and Karma and you know they could be cunning and creative as long as it isn't the radar of an official, it's still considered legal," Corey commented as Nagisa focuses on the leg as he brutally stomps the leg of Shinji, earning boos from the crowd and a scream from Shinji.
Nagisa then grabs the leg of concern of Shinji and locks the Half Crab in the center of the ring, causing Shinji to scream in pain as he tries to keep holding from the pressure as the referee asks him if he concedes but shakes his head.
"There's one of his hundred ways of decimating someone before executing a submission and I couldn't think of a better man to do it than Nagisa or Karma, in this situation," Excalibur said.
"You're right, but I know Shinji has something to give but he has to hang on because Nagisa's arsenal is full of submissions, as far as I know," Izuku added as Shinji rolls on his back slowly as he tries to kick Nagisa with his free leg a few times to free himself from submission.
However, Nagisa kept his grip on the leg as he shouted Ric Flair's catchphrase, attempting for the patented submission of the Nature Boy, causing for the fans to boo, only for Shinji to reverse it into a Small Package Pin.

Nagisa kicks out.
"Smart move by Shinji Ikari to escape the submission wrath with a lucky Inside Cradle," Excalibur said as Shinji fought back to the likening of the fans with a few chops to the chest until he hits a Dropkick to the face of Nagisa, sending him down but Nagisa instinctively went rolling outside.
But before he was able to roll outside, Shinji went to the ropes and grab Nagisa on the apron but the latter played possum as he yanks the head of Nagisa against the top rope, causing the fans to jeer at the blue-haired boy.
Nagisa then stood back up on the apron and sees Shinji's head was still against the top rope as he hits a High Knee Strike, flushing the side of the head of Shinji. Nagisa grabs the head of Shinji and drapes it back on the top rope and slingshots himself on his back and went against the ropes to lock in the Tarantula, to the awes from the crowd.
"This is unbelievable! Another submission by Nagisa and he is nothing but a submission specialist or a prince if there's a term for that." Izuku said as the referee scolds Nagisa and begins to count as the latter releases the hold, landing safely on the apron while Shinji's body was filled with agony and was clutching his back.
"I don't know about you, guys, but Shinji may be a few minutes away from being defeated again, thanks to the punishment that he's been dealing, and anytime, Nagisa can crawl into a pin or a submission then it's game over for the revitalized man." Corey said as Nagisa climbs up to the top turnbuckle while the crowd was chanting Shinji's name and Nagisa reacted that 'this is over'.
When Nagisa saw an opening, he dives off from the top to hit a Diving Knee Drop onto the prone back of Shinji, causing Shinji to be in agony as he rolls Shinji on his stomach to make the cover.

Shinji kicks out as the crowd cheered for him while Nagisa is keeping his foe grounded and drops a few elbows on his chest.
"This is incredible, Shinji is still fighting even though his body is in big, big painful woe! His resiliency begins to show here, guys." Izuku said as Nagisa looked over at the commentary table to glare at Midoriya and shouts at him to 'be prepared or you'll suffer the same fate as him'.
Nagisa then focuses back on Shinji and stomps the chest of Shinji, who tries to fight back but only barely prolongs the punishment he is getting. Because of this, Nagisa grabs an arm of Shinji and twists it against his leg, and turns him on his stomach to lock in the Tequila Sunrise submission, earning boos from the crowd and sympathy for Shinji.
"The Tequila Sunrise has locked in and is one of his signature submissions on Nagisa's arsenal, could this be the end of the journey for Shinji?" Excalibur asked as Shinji's face was written in pain as he tries to make his way to the bottom rope but the pressure continues to halt his movement.
However, Shinji wasn't ready to give up as he crawls a few inches, and felt like an eternity when he clutches the bottom rope, where the crowd begins to show their support for Shinji as the referee scolds Nagisa for not letting go of the submission.
"I am not even sure how Shinji was able to escape such submissions but he is prolonging the suffering," Corey said unsurely as Nagisa surged more energy to pull Shinji from the bottom rope as he turns the Tequila Sunrise into a Boston Crab; however, Shinji was somehow to escape by rolling on his back and kicks the good leg on Nagisa a few times, causing for the blue-haired star to release him.
Shinji tries to fight back when he stood up awkwardly and he throws a powerful punch on Nagisa, who tries to kick him on the side of the head but he grabbed the leg of Nagisa, who pleaded for Shinji not to hurt it. But Shinji did not listen as he twists the leg of Nagisa with Dragon Screw, sending Nagisa's leg in pain.
"Shinji is able to turn things around and gave Nagisa a taste of his own medicine on his leg! But that has got to hurt for Nagisa and it is taking forever for Shinji to get his momentum back!" Shun said as Shinji was able to pick Nagisa up and slowly sends him to the top turnbuckle in a seated position as he followed him on the top.
Shinji packed a few shots to the face of Nagisa to the cheers of the crowd until he saw Nagisa go loopy as he grabs the arm of Nagisa and his trunks, attempting for a Superplex but Nagisa somehow fights back with shots on Shinji's back, sending the crowd into booing him until Shinji couldn't respond.
All of a sudden, Nagisa wowed everyone when he grabs the arm of Shinji and stretches himself against the ropes as he locks in the Cross Armbreaker while Nagisa hangs against the ropes, causing for Shinji to scream in pain.
"Oh, wow! Nagisa is using the ropes to his advantage and locks in another submission while in a precarious position, against the ropes no less!" Excalibur exclaimed as the referee scolds Nagisa and begins to count until he releases himself, landing on the floor on his feet.
"That kinda reminds me of Nagisa locking the Cross Armbreaker while he is hanging on the ladder against Tanjiro Kamado, a month ago!" Corey said as Nagisa was able to climb slowly on the apron while Shinji was aching in pain on the corner until Nagisa reaches the top turnbuckle to grab Shinji, sending him back to the turnbuckles.
"I don't know if this is smart on the part of Nagisa, I think he might be thinking of another submission using the ropes!" Shun added as Nagisa mocks the booing crowd when he gestures that Shinji 'is going to sleep tonight'.
But all of a sudden, Shinji miraculously was able to grab Nagisa and hits him from the top turnbuckle, overhead with an Exploder Suplex from the top turnbuckle, sending the crowd into a frenzy and shouting expletives.
"Huge Exploder from the top by Shinji Ikari, who is resilient as ever and he is not stopping until his last gasp!" Corey exclaimed as the crowd began to chant Shinji's name again while half of them chanted 'This is awesome!'
"They are right, this is awesome! I couldn't believe that these guys are getting it on at this point of the match!" Izuku complimented the both of them as both competitors slowly rise up on their feet.
After a few seconds, both Shinji and Nagisa throw fists at one another with the crowd cheering and booing respectively, one after another. The exchange ended when Shinji blocks an upcoming fist as he fires punches, palm strikes, and kicks to the body of Nagisa until he takes him down with a Lariat, causing Shinji to be pumped up, alongside the Chi-town crowd.
"And there it is, the fire inside of Shinji is burning here in Chicago!" Shun exclaimed as Shinji saw Nagisa standing up and taking him down again with a Clothesline, eventually grabs the arm of Nagisa to whip him to the ropes as he launches him in the air with a Back Body Drop. Nagisa screams in pain while holding his back, recuperating himself in the corner.
But Shinji did not waste time as he run over Nagisa on the corner with a Corner Clothesline, followed up by a few punches to the face of Nagisa as the crowd counted along until it reached 10 beats. Shinji then takes down Nagisa with a Snapmare and went to the ropes to hit a Basement Dropkick to the face and went for the cover with a leg hooked.

Nagisa kicks out as Shinji took his time to recover from the pain that he is dealing with by clutching his leg and his back.
"I think Shinji never noticed the pain when he was all pumped up until now that his adrenaline gave out," Shun commented as Shinji was in the corner as he runs and hits a Running Leg Drop across the throat of Nagisa.
Shinji was not done yet as he attempts for a second Leg Drop but to the shock of everyone, Nagisa grabs the leg of Shinji and locked in the Ankle Lock at the center of the ring, causing for the fans to boo and them chanting 'No!' as Shinji begins a new struggle.
"Nagisa is on a submission spree and that's another submission – The Ankle Lock! The leg that was solely focused earlier by Nagisa is back on his radar and there has to be a possibility of Shinji tapping out or passing out!" Excalibur exclaimed as Shinji slowly crawls to the bottom rope.
When Shinji is a few touches away from the ropes, Nagisa pulled him back to the center of the ring only for Shinji to roll him up; but Shinji shocks everyone when he locks in his own Ankle Lock on Nagisa, causing for the bluehead to be in pain this time as the crowd cheered.
"Shinji is trying to survive but to make submissions to the submission specialist himself!" Corey said as Nagisa slowly crawls towards the bottom rope while Shinji screams at him to 'tap out'.
However, the crowd erupted when Shinji transitions the Ankle Lock into the Instant Karma (Omoplata Crossface), sending an indirect message to Nagisa's partner.
"Wait! That's Karma's signature submission, he's adding insult to injury and this would be ironic if Nagisa taps here." Shun said as Nagisa was panicking and squirming in pain as Shinji was intensely shouting at Nagisa to 'give up'.
However, a few seconds later, Nagisa was able to hold on to the bottom rope to the dissatisfaction of the crowd and told Shinji to let go of the hold as he did to take a respite while the crowd was eventually chanting both Nagisa and Shinji's name respectively.
"This match is still continuing with a lot of submissions going on around, I don't know how much numb can they feel at this point but they're not stopping," Corey said as both men began to stand up again as soon as they could.
The exchange between fists occurred again when they swap fists on each other for almost a minute until Nagisa was able to strike a knee on Shinji's gut as he went to the ropes but he was met by a Superkick from Shinji, who went to the ropes as well but was also got caught by a Superkick from Nagisa. Shinji fires back with a Big Boot on Nagisa, who answers with a High Knee Strike to the face of Shinji, who fights back with a Rolling Forearm.
But then, Nagisa attempts a Roundhouse Kick but Shinji ducks and the latter also attempted a Roundhouse Kick but was ducked by the former until both men went for the same thing again and kicked each other out with Roundhouse Kicks, knocking themselves out on the mat, causing for the Chicago crowd to be ballistic on what they just saw, began to chant 'AVW', 'This is awesome', and both of competitors' names simultaneously.
"Unbelievable! Both men are knocked down silly with Roundhouses but the fatigue that these guys are feeling right now, I wouldn't imagine from this point on." Excalibur said.
"Yeah, we're moving into another level at this point at this match and yet, we still have to figure out who's facing the champion. But wow, they blew my mind, they deserved them both but the first one to gain the W is a made man." Izuku added as Shinji then make the first move by rolling himself on the apron.
Meanwhile, Nagisa then makes a move of himself, standing on his own despite being in pain, and saw Shinji standing up on the apron as he makes his way to grab him but Shinji played possum and hits a hard Forearm Shot to the face.
Shinji then glances at the floor and at Nagisa, thinking of something dangerous on his mind as he grabs Nagisa, attempting for a Suplex to the outside, causing for some fans to stand up to anticipate a big fall.
"No, please, your career is also at stake here, Ikari. The weariness is taking its toll on both of them but Shinji is in a desperation mode!" Shun said in concern as Shinji lifts Nagisa up but the blue-haired boy fights back when he hits his knee on Shinji's face, sending Nagisa landing on the apron safely while Shinji nurses his nose.
Nagisa took advantage of the situation as he kicks Shinji's gut and lifts him up, thinking also of a Suplex but on the apron. However, the fatigue and the punishment they went through are palpable as he tries to muster up any hidden strength on him. After a few seconds, Nagisa was able to lift Shinji up in the air but he spikes his head instead on the apron after hitting an Apron Brainbuster, sending gasps from the crowd while Nagisa lands on the floor.
"That's it, that's the move right there! Nagisa may have the match won but Shinji's resiliency is infinite!" Izuku said as Nagisa mocks the crowd by gesturing that 'Shinji's dead'.
"And the ironic part of that is Nagisa utilizing Shinji's move - The End of Evangelion, which is a Brainbuster, and Nagisa took it to the limit, spiking the head of Shinji," Corey said as Nagisa slowly enters the bottom rope and went for the cover with a Back Press.

Shinji, somehow and miraculously survives by kicking out before the three count, sending the crowd in shock and cheering for him while Nagisa was too tired to make any reactions.
"Wow! Shinji, surviving from the Brainbuster on the apron is impossible, but tonight, we have seen a miracle in our hands in Chicago, no less!" Excalibur exclaimed as everyone surprises everyone when Shinji suddenly sends Nagisa in a Crucifix Pin.

Nagisa's shoulder was up in time before the third tap to the mat by the referee, shocking Shinji entirely, so are the fans, who eventually chanted 'Holy Shit!' and 'This is awesome!' at the same time.
"I thought that was it! Shinji hits the move and Nagisa, by the grace of the heavens, is still alive somehow! Are you kidding me?!" Shun exclaimed as Shinji makes the first move and stomps the body of Nagisa, who was unresponsive, signaling that he is ready to end it.
Shinji then decides to make things end on a high note, literally, as he took his precious time to climb up to the top turnbuckle as he looks at the supporting crowd and at Nagisa and dives off with a Frog Splash; however, Nagisa was able to roll out of the way in time as Shinji's gut landed on the mat violently.
"Shinji went out to reach a light from above but was unable to grab it and Nagisa dodged in time to make space," Corey said as Nagisa began to stand up while Shinji was able to stand despite the pain in his gut.
Nagisa then kicks Shinji's head with a Superkick, sending the latter kneeling on one knee and the crowd booing as he kicked him again with a Superkick, collapsing the other knee until Nagisa hits a vicious Roundhouse Kick to the side of the head as Shinji collapses to the mat and Nagisa makes a crawl for a cover with his arm hanging on the chest of Shinji.

Shinji kicks out, much to the shock of everyone in the arena, including Nagisa, who grabs his head in shock.
"Shinji kicked out, Shinji kicked out! This is crazy, this is the damndest thing I have ever seen in my life!" Shun shouted as the crowd was frenzied that the match is continuing.
Nagisa then stood up slowly and carefully, taunting the crowd that 'this is not the end, this is only the beginning' as he slowly made his way to the top turnbuckle, gesturing a slitting to the throat, indicating the end and dives off the top to hit a Diving Knee Strike, only for Shinji to amazingly roll out of the way as Nagisa's knee collided with the mat, causing more pain at the said part to the cheers of the crowd.
"They're diving into the deepest parts to utilize the unique moves on their arsenal but only to be missed every single time and this goes how to show how important this match is for both Shinji Ikari and Nagisa Shiota!" Excalibur said as the crowd continued to chant different phrases that were aforementioned.
Shinji then began to rise up on his own and was on the corner, sighting his target, and went on to him to grab him from behind as he hits the Hook and Ladder, hitting Nagisa face-first to the mat. But Shinji is not done yet as he went to the corner to see Nagisa, trying to stand back as Shinji runs at Nagisa to hit a Curb Stomp on Nagisa; however, he could not make the cover because he used the injured leg to stomp Nagisa.
"Shinji just gave Nagisa a peace of his mind with a huge Curb Stomp and this might actually do it for Shinji and to make a cover, it's a long way ahead for Shinji!" Corey exclaimed as Shinji took time to make a cover with both legs hooked.

Nagisa kicks out, causing Shinji to be baffled and the fans were crazy enough that they chanted 'Fight Forever' continuously.
"This is insanity, I don't know how much can they take but we're at a higher territory here and this might be the crucial part," Izuku said.
All of a sudden, Shinji could not take it anymore as he locks Nagisa in with Instant Karma (Omoplata Crossface), causing for the fans to lose it as Nagisa was trapped in the middle of the ring.
"There's that Instant Karma again by Shinji and one submission at this point could end it but can Nagisa hang on despite the fatigue?!" Excalibur asked as the submission continued for a while as Nagisa was screaming and was raising his hand to signal if he gives up but that was not the case.
However, Nagisa was able to move slowly, causing him to roll sideways to roll Shinji while the submission was still tightly synched in.

Shinji was able to roll back to continue the suffering of Nagisa from the submission as the latter is in big trouble on what to do next.
"The submission is tightly synched in and Nagisa has persevered from the submission that much. I think that anytime soon, he might pass out from the pain! But he has to resort to another thing!" Corey said as the submission kept Nagisa grounded.
The crowd immediately booed when Nagisa began to crawl at a snail's pace and makes his way to the bottom rope, automatically signaling the referee to warn Shinji, if he wouldn't let go in time. However, due to the intensity of the match, Shinji did not care and summoned his last resort by using his whole body to roll Nagisa back in the middle of the ring to keep the submission going to the cheers from the crowd.
"The eyes of Shinji tell the story and he is persevering in the struggle on keeping the submission tight while Nagisa is facing the music of submitting at any time," Excalibur said as Nagisa was screaming in a muffle due to the Shinji's arm hurdling the mouth of Nagisa.
"This is a desperation mode for both men, basically!" Shun added.
The submission continued for a whole minute as the crowd chanted to Nagisa to 'Tap!' as the pressure begins to block the passageway of Nagisa as his hand slowly drops to the mat as the referee begins to check on it.

All of a sudden, the bell rang, causing confusion in everyone as the crowd booed when the familiar chime rang in the arena. Shinji was confused and released the hold while the referee went to the timekeeper's area to ask him why he rang the bell.
"What's going on? The bell rang all of a sudden and Shinji was a few seconds away from being the number one contender for Midoriya's World Championship!" Shun complained as the timekeeper explains to the referee in a whisper as the latter nodded, eventually telling Mai Sakurajima to announce it, nodding in the process.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the 30-minute time limit of the match has expired; therefore, this match is a draw!" Mai Sakurajima announced as the crowd heavily booed the timekeeper for ruining a good match.
"I have never seen an ending in such controversial fashion quite like this, guys, whew!" Shun said with a hint of heavy breathing.
"Wow! This cannot be happening, is it really a draw, so that means…" Izuku said and paused. "…I have no new challenger?"
"Well, yeah, I think that's the case, Midoriya," Corey answered as Shinji was also complaining to the timekeeper but the referee explains the rule to him, only to be disappointed in himself again for not finishing the job.
All of a sudden, AVW World Champion Izuku Midoriya came to the ramp, entering the ring to meet both men who went to war. He then exchanges glances with the possible challengers and picks up a mic from his pocket.
"Hey, hey, hey! We don't want to end this on a sour note, right, Chicago?!" Izuku asked the fans, who were cheering for him. "I'm agreeing with you all. See, 30 minutes is a huge task and these guys just fought to another level!"
The fans continue to cheer on both participants while Izuku continues to speak.
"And you know what? Since I'm the champion, I get to pick the number one contender, do I? So, at Battle Chronicle, AVW World Champion Izuku Midoriya will face… Nagisa Shiota—"
The fans interrupted Izuku's after mentioning the name of the blue-haired assassin, who smirked in the corner while Shinji screams at the champion.
"Whoa, there, guys. Don't fret because you interrupted me. You see, I was going to put both of you as my next challengers for the AVW World Championship at Battle Chronicle!" Izuku announced as the crowd exploded with glee as they chanted 'Yes!'
"Wow! This is huge news for both men! Nagisa Shiota and Shinji Ikari are your challengers for Izuku Midoriya's AVW World Championship at Battle Chronicle! This is great!" Excalibur said with happiness.
"Well, we might wait and see if this will be official since this was only the champion's proposal and it needs the approval of our General Manager!" Corey answered.
All of a sudden, the crowd booed when Karma, from out of nowhere, attacked Izuku from behind and pounds him with punches to the mat. But before Izuku could get more significant damage, the crowd cheered when both Shoto Todoroki and Katsuki Bakugo ran toward the ring to help their buddy.
"Oh! There are Midoriya's teammates! They are coming to the aid of their best friend!" Shun exclaimed as both Shoto and Katsuki went to share fists on Karma but when Nagisa tries to help his partner, Shinji then takes down Nagisa and also pounded him to the face as the crowd chanted 'This is awesome!'.
"It's 4-on-2, how is this fair for The Assassins?!" Corey complained as both Shoto and Katsuki sent Karma to the outside with a Double Clothesline while Shinji also sends Nagisa with a Clothesline of his own as the crowd continue to rally on the good guys.
"The Class 1-A and Shinji Ikari are cleaning house and taking out their opposition!" Excalibur exclaimed as Shinji tries to help Izuku, rising back to his feet.
But all of a sudden, Katsuki decks Shinji with a hard shot to the face, causing Shinji to collapse on the mat while his partner and The Assassins could not believe what they have seen, even the crowd was perplexed by this developing situation as Shoto then joins the party when both he and Katsuki grounded Shinji with stomps.
"Wait a minute, Todoroki and Bakugo are also taking out Shinji Ikari, who just went through an exhausting battle! What on Earth is going on here?!" Excalibur complained as Izuku regained senses as he pulls his partners out of Shinji, who immediately rolls out of the ring into safety with Izuku criticizing their actions but the answers of the duo were incoherent while The Assassins watched the scene folded and Shinji was taken care by the referee, who checks on him.
The camera suddenly ended as the screen went black, indicating that the show ended.
