Chapter 2

During a peaceful night, Tsukune was currently sleeping in his bedroom at the males' dormitory after another day where Kurumu and Moka fought over him and they wrote together some new articles for their newspaper. The day before, the boy had met a new monster girl named Shirayuki Mizore, who happened to be a snowgirl that loved his articles and him too.

At first, he feared that she would trick him and hurt him like some previous yokai had done, but he was surprised and happy that she really wanted to make friends with him. He was also flushed when she told him that she liked him too, but he had fun by spending time with her at the lake.

And speaking of her, Mizore was currently looking at the sleeping boy from outside of the window, as she was sitting on a tree's branch. She had a shade of red and a smile on her face while looking at his sleeping figure.

'Tsukune, I'm really glad that you and I made friends and you like spending time with me. People who feel lonely like us should stay together, and like I promised you, I won't let anybody hurt you.', she thought, keeping to look at him and blushing more. She resented the monsters that tried to hurt the poor boy before, as she couldn't stand the fact that they attacked a kind guy that just wanted to have a normal school life.

Plus, despite he told her that he was a human, she would never hate him because of that; she understood that he felt lonely because he was the only human inside a monster school with no contact with his family apart by using letters, as she felt in a similar way.

For that reason, she wanted to do her best to protect him from other monsters and to make him fall in love for her. She didn't like it whenever Kurumu brought his face to her tits or Moka clung onto him, as he was her Tsukune. That was why she would spend some time alone with him as well the following day, so they could know each other more and get closer.

So after glancing another time at him, Mizore got down from the tree and started to walk towards the girls' dormitory. During the walk, the cold air of the night was nice for her, even if it couldn't beat the nice sensation that hugging Tsukune gave her. She also imagined to kiss him, which made her blush and giggle.

Once his alarm clock rang, Tsukune woke up, yawning and scratching his eyes before getting up to brush his teeth in the public toilet. He was honestly relieved that he didn't have any roommate because he was sure that they would be noisy and, worse, find out that he was human.

'Only Moka and Mizore know that I'm a human, as I can genuinely feel that I can trust them. Perhaps I told Mizore my true identity too fast, but since she cares deeply for me and is willing to protect me, I guess that I don't need to keep secrets from her. Even if her possessive side was unexpected haha.', he thought, blushing and sweatdropping when the snow girl called him her Tsukune. He didn't know how he was able to attract 3 cute girls like his friends, but it didn't matter; having friends like them helped him to be less worried about his life inside Yokai Academy.

Though, Mizore's understanding his feeling of loneliness was something that made him more affectionate to her than to Moka and Kurumi, especially after he played at the lake with her. She made him relive a nice moment from his childhood, after all. Besides, she made him curious about her, with an interest to know her more.

Anyways, after brushing his teeth and wearing his school uniform, the young man left his dormitory to go to school, keeping his hands in the pockets and avoiding to interact with other students on the way. He trusted his 3 friends, but that didn't mean he wanted to interact with other students; the mermaids, the lizardmen and other types of monsters tricked him or tried to hurt him right away, so he preferred to keep his distance from the rest of the students.

But a certain blue haired girl seemed to not want to be distant from him, as Kurumu appeared and hugged his head against her chest.

"Yahoo, Tsukune!",she told him, smiling and blushing.

"Good morning, K-Kurumu.", he replied, blushing as well.

"Let's go to class together before-"

"Stop clinging on Tsukune!", interrupted her Moka's voice, who was behind them and frowning jealously.

"Ugh, too late. The homewrecker appeared.", said Kurumu, frowning as well.

" H-homewrecker?", mumbled the vampire, with a tick mark on her head.

"Tsukune is my Destined One, so you should stop interfering in my relationship with him!"

"No, he's mine!", retorted Moka, trying to pull the boy away from Kurumu that didn't want to let him go.

The usual fight made some students chuckle or be envious of Tsukune in the case of the boys, but suddenly, two objects hit both girls on their foreheads and made them stop clinging on the boy.

"Ow! What hit me?!", complained the succubus, nursing her forehead and looking around. Her violet eyes widened just like Moka's and Tsukune's when they saw two ice cubes on the ground. Cubes that were bigger than normal ones.

"Ice cubes? Who threw them?!", asked an angry Kurumu, looking around to find the culprit. Each student shaked his/her head and was surprised just like her and her friends.

"I don't know, maybe a teacher got annoyed by our behavior and stopped us like that.", said Moka instead with a worried expression.

On the other hand, her and Kurumu's love interest was sweatdropping because he knew exactly who threw those ice cubes, as he could feel the same feeling of being observed that only Mizore gave him. It seemed that she couldn't stand it when other girls clung onto him, as if she was already his girlfriend.

"Y-Yeah, I think it was a teacher too. Let's just go to our class before Nekonome-sensei says that we're late.", suggested the young man, smiling nervously.

Both girls agreed and walked with him towards the building, unaware that the snow girl was indeed observing everything from behind a tree with an angry pout on her face. 'You two are the homewreckers. Tsukune is mine and only mine.', she thought, looking towards the two girls with cold icy blue eyes. Even if they were his friends, she didn't want any girl to hug or be too close to him. He was only hers.

After entering in the school building, Tsukune, Moka and Kurumu reached their class, with the boys smiling happily at seeing the vampire and the succubus while the young man sweatdropped at their behavior. He got it that his friends were the most popular girls, but there were also other girls that were cute.

And while thinking about that, the image of a smiling Mizore appeared in his mind, making him blush. It was like the snow girl's smile was so beautiful that he couldn't take it off his mind, making him look forward to see her again later.

But said mind began to focus when the homeroom teacher arrived and started the literature lesson, as he wanted to make sure to have decent grades in all the subjects. Kurumu took notes lazily instead and Moka, being the diligent student she was, took notes more than everyone.

Outside of the classroom instead precisely from behind some trees near the courtyard, the snowgirl was looking at Tsukune constantly, blushing and smiling at seeing him do his best. His will to do things well was another thing that she liked about him, even if hugging him was what she adored the most.

She observed him like that during all the morning lessons, and of course, Tsukune could feel that she was watching him all the time. Even if he didn't mind, she was being quite the stalker.

Still, he looked outside of the window for some seconds, towards the point where she was hidden. To Mizore's surprise and joy, he suddenly smiled, causing her heart to flutter; each time she saw his smile, she would feel butterflies in the stomach.

Kurumu noticed Tsukune's expression, so she glanced at the window too but saw nothing. 'Why did he look and smiled towards outside? I wish he smiled like taht at me too mouu.', she thought, pouting. She would make sure to make him smile later during lunch with the delicious pastries that she made for him.

In fact, once the first half of lessons ended and every student went to the canteen, she sat next to him and showed him a box of pastries. "Here, Tsukune. I made them with lots of love for you hehe.", she told him sweetly, pressing her chest on his arm.

"He can't eat just sweets for lunch. Take some of my fried shrimps, Tsukune.", said a jealous Moka, getting closer to his other arm.

"T-thank you, girls.", he said, smiling and accepting their food offers. He wished they stopped glaring at each other though, since he could see some sparks crashing against each other between their eyes.

Some male students frowned before such scene, wishing to be in his place. But to their and everyone's shock, two ice cubes hit the two girls once again, making them stop latching onto the boy.

"Again?! Who the hell is the person that throws ice cubes against me?!", complained an angry Kurumu, looking around to find the culprit but with no results.

"I want to know it too, ow.", said Moka, frowning and nursing her sore forehead. Obviously, their love interest simply smiled awkwardly, finding Mizore's jealousy exaggerated. He really liked the fact that she was protective of him, but it would be better if she toned down her jealousy.

He and the girls continued to have lunch anyways, but the succubus and the vampire pouted because they couldn't cling on him, otherwise the hidden ice cube thrower would attack again. So their lunch time went on like that until it was time to go back to class for their PE lessons, during which Tsukune managed to do well in running some laps.

Despite he was only human and didn't possess great strength like the monsters, PE and sports were things that he was pretty good at. Seeing him run and give his best made Moka and Kurumu blush and giggle, but their expressions changed into angry ones when a scumbag of their class made Tsukune trip and fall.

"Tsukune, are you ok?!", asked him Moka immediately, going to help him to get up.

"Hey, you idiot! Apologize to him right now!", yelled Kurumu at the one who made him fall, glaring at him.

"Come on, Kurono-san. You know I-Gaaah!"

The jackass didn't manage to end his sentence because of a sudden lance appearing from nowhere that made him fall backwards. The lance shocked everyone, especially at seeing it create a hole in the floor. But another thing that left stunned was the fact that the lance was made of ice, which left Tsukune more shocked than everyone.

"Ok, who threw that lance, guys? Answer me.", demanded the PE teacher to everyone while helping the one, who was about to be pierced, to get up.

"None of us did, Sensei. That lance appeared out of nowhere from outside the windows.", replied a girl, pointing towards the opened windows.

The teacher went then to check said windows while the jackass that made Tsukune fall was still shivering in fear. "That lance…It was made of ice like the cubes taht were thrown againt me and Moka.", said a visibly shocked Kurumu.

"That girl said that it came from outside the gym, and if that guy had not dodged it, it would have pierced his abdomen. But it's the fact that it appeared right after he made Tsukune fall that is more shocking.", said Moka instead, stunned as well.

Nonetheless, what made her and the succubus more stunned, was the fact that their love interest was not near them anymore. "Huh? Where did Tsukune go?", they asked in unison, looking around the gym but with no results and getting even more worried.

Outside of the school, Tsukune reached the woods near the courtyard after leaving the gym without being noticed. "Mizore, are you there?", he asked.

From behind a tree, the purple haired girl appeared and smiled at him. "Hello, Tsukune.", she told him, walking towards him and blushing.

"M-Mizore, why did you throw that lance against that guy? He could have died.", he asked, putting his hands on her shoulders.

"He hurt you, so I couldn't tolerate that. I can't forgive who hurts you or makes fun of you.", was her answer, changing her smile into a serious expression.

She also took his right hand and brought her to her face, which blushed like his while she smiled again. "I promised you that I will protect you, and I will do it. No one hurts my Tsukune.", she told him.

"I understand that, but trying to kill other people is not right.", he told her, looking at her with a worried expression.

"Tsukune, you're so kind. But, they don't deserve your kindness; the monsters that attacked you wanted to kill you for selfish reasons or because they were cruel. I understood that after I read all your articles because I could feel the loneliness and the fear that are haunting you from them.", she said, taking his head to bring it to her chest and making him blush.

"Only I can understand you better than everyone, as I always felt lonely like you. For that reason and because I like you very much, I will always be there for you.", she told him too, blushing and keeping to hug his head against her chest.

The young man continued to blush because of her words and her affectionate gesture, as he appreciated deeply how much she cared for him. He also reciprocated her hug, making Mizore giggle happily.

"My body temperature is always very low and I don't like hot temperatures, but I love the warmth that I can feel by hugging you."

"I like this sensation as well. I have to go back before Moka and Kurumu get more worried about where I am right now.", he told her, reluctantly removing his face from her soft chest.

"Don't you want to stay a little more with me? We could go to play at the lake again or visit a new place.", she asked him with a pleading look.

"I-I'd like to, but I really have to go back. But if you want, we can see each other later after the lessons.", he said, blushing more because of her expression.

Her blue eyes shined at those words, making her smile and hug him happily. "I'm very glad hehe. Then see you later, Tsukune.", she told him, reluctantly detaching herself from him. He smiled embarrassed back at her and greeted her before going back to the gym, with the girl waving back at him.

Once he was back there, the boy was immediately hugged by a worried Kurumu, who asked him together with Moka where he went to. He replied that he was at the toilet, as he couldn't tell them that he secretly met with Mizore of course.

His answer managed to make them sigh in relief, and to his own relief, no ice cube was thrown against the succubus just because she was hugging him. Maybe his words made Mizore tone down her jealousy a little somehow.

What didn't get toned down was their PE teacher's annoyance for not managing to discover who was the person that almost hurt one of the students, as he was frowning during all the remaining time of the lesson. The idiot that made fun of Tsukune was instead in the nursery to be checked, still scared for risking to be hurt by that lance of ice.

The rest of the students were thinking that there was some hidden person that used ice and that was protecting Tsukune. Said person seemed also to be jealous of other girls, since his friends got attacked twice for getting too close to him. The identity of the boy's secret admirer/stalker made them curious and want to find out who was the girl in question.

When the PE lesson ended, Moka and Kurumu waited for Tsukune to go to the club together. Though, they were mouth agape when he told them that he couldn't because he had somewhere else to go.

So the two girls went to the club alone, with Kurumu pouting angrily. "Mouu, why didn't he come with us?! I wanted to write articles and cling on him!"

"Relax, Kurumu. Maybe he had some homework to do.", said Moka, sweatdropping and trying to calm her down.

The club president, Ginei, was instead laying on the couch while reading a magazine. "It's strange that he didn't come with you here. Maybe he went to meet with another girl haha.", he suggested, chuckling and causing the succubus and the vampire to gasp.

"T-Tsukune with another girl…Nooo! Someone wants to steal my Tsukune!", exclaimed Kurumu, crying comically.

"T-Tsukune is not meeting with another girl. I-I don't believe it.", said Moka instead, laughing nervously to hide her fear.

"You two should be careful anyways. That guy attracts chicks so easily that maybe he's currently kissing-Ow!", said the wolfman before getting stopped by an angry Kurumu that hit him with a rolled newspaper.

"Shut up! The only one who will kiss Tsukune is me because he's my Destined One and my future husband!", she exclaimed.

"You can't! Tsukune is mine, not yours!", retorted the pink haired vampire, glaring at her.

"No! He's mine!"

And a discussion started between the two monster girls, with Ginei rubbing his head where he got hit and watching the whole scene. He felt envious of Tsukune for having two beautiful girls that liked him so much and he wouldn't be surprised if he had another one that was interested in him romantically.

Also the wolfman would be pretty popular with the other sex because of his good looks and gentleman's attitude, but his habit of peeping on girls while they changed clothes and taking photos of them were what made him an enemy of women. In fact, he was still behaving like that, as he didn't learn his lesson at all after he got busted and Inner Moka beat him up.

Speaking instead of Tsukune, the brown haired boy was together with Mizore, who was currently latching on his arm and leaning her head on his shoulder while walking with him. "D-do you like clinging on me so much, Mizore?", he asker her, flushed.

"I told you that I love hugging you after all hehe.", she replied, tightening her hold and pressing her chest against his arm. Due to that, he felt a soft sensation on his arm that made him blush more.

"I see. This forest looks always the same with all these grey leafless trees, by the way. I'm surprised that a beautiful lake like the one near my dormitory can exist in this dimension.", he told her, scratching his cheek and smiling.

"I don't like this forest too. But since there's no anyone else, we can be alone without no one disturbing us hehe.", she said, blushing and giggling.

"I know you like me a lot, but you didn't have to hit Moka and Kurumu with those ice cubes. They're my friends."

"But I don't like it when they cling onto you, especially when that cowtits girl pushes her chest againt your face. Mine is soft too.", she told him, pouting and pressing her breasts more against his arm.

That caused Tsukune to blush deeper, with a little nosebleed appearing on his face. "If you want, you can touch them directly~.", she also told him, making him gasp.

"Huh?! That's overboard, Mizore!"

"I think it's fine. You're my Tsukune, so you can touch me and do what you want with me~.", she said, blushing more and smiling.

Before he could say something more, a new voice made its entrance in the conversation. "Oh, what do we have here?"

Tsukune and Mizore looked in front of them and saw a male student with the academy's uniform, messy blue hair and a piercing on his near his chin. "So the guy that Akashiya-san likes is on a date with another girl? Heh, I don't understand what she and Kurono-san see in a wimp like you.", he said, smirking annoyingly and making Mizore glare at him.

"What Tsukune does is not your business. And don't you dare to insult him.", she told him menacingly, generating some cold air and making her love interest worried.

"What if I don't care?"

At those words, the snow girl stopped clinging on Tsukune and her hair turned into ice, with icy claws appearing on her hands. The asshole was shocked by her transformation, but his expression turned into one of pain when she charged against him and attacked him. Her claws slashed through his uniform, wounding part of his chest and his abdomen.

"Ahhhh! Y-you bitch!", he cursed, falling on the ground and screaming in agony.

"It's because of people like you that Tsukune still suffers. Stay away from us and don't bother us ever again.", she told him coldly, switching back to her normal form while the human boy was shocked by what he just saw.

"Let's go away, Tsukune.", told him the snowgirl, taking his hand and catching his attention. Still shocked, the boy nodded and left with her, looking back at the other guy that was still on the ground, bleeding and screaming atrociously.

Once they got away from there, Mizore suddenly hugged him, with her face on his chest. "I-I'm sorry if I scared you, but I couldn't let him continue to insult you. I also felt that he wanted to transform in his yokai form and hurt you, and seeing you get hurt is something I don't want to happen at all.", she told him with a sad tone and hugging him tighter.

The young man was surprised by her words and her gesture; it was like she was worried that he would start to dislike her after what she did. Smiling and blushing, he reciprocated her hug, making her eyes widen.

"Thank you for protecting me, Mizore. Don't think that I will hate you because of what you did; as you know, this isn't the first time that a yokai tries to hurt me, so thank you. Still, I would have preferred to resolve the situation peacefully.", he said, caressing her head.

"Unfortunately, most of yokais don't think like you. They're greedy, violent and attack the weak, so there's no other choice other than defending yourself. I'm happy that you don't hate me for what I did. I-I'm really am.", she told him, blushing and crying a bit.

Hearing her sniffles, the boy kept hugging her back and patting her head; seeing a girl cry was something that he never liked, so even if he was a little embarrassed, he wanted to comfort her like that until she didn't calm down. He also thought about what she just told him, and to his chagrin, he couldn't deny that she was right.

Apart from Moka and Kurumu, the other monsters interacted with him attacked him or betrayed his trust to hurt him then. Because of them, he developed a constant fear of losing his life to one of them one day, making it difficult for him to sleep at night.

Only after meeting Mizore he managed to worry less about that, as he perceived that she felt lonely just like him. She also accepted him despite he was a human and clearly showed that she cared very much for him, increasing the trust he had in her. It also made him want to spend more time with her.

"Mizore, how about you start to come to school from tomorrow?", he suddenly asked her, making her eyes widen and look at him.

"Huh?"

"I know that you don't like anyone there, but you're not forced to interact with them. You can talk just with me. I-It's just that I want to spend time together at school too.", he said, smiling embarrassed and scratching his red cheek.

Hearing that made her eyes shine, so she smiled and hugged him more. "Yes, I will begin to come to school. If it means that I can spend more time with you hehe.", she told him, giggling and making him smile more.

The two of them continued to hug each other like that, as the warmth that they could feel was a beatiful and pleasant sensation. Despite what happened, their friendship became stronger and more solid, even if the snow girl wanted their bond to become something more. After all, she liked her Tsukune very, or to say it better, way too much.

And the second chapter is here, my friends! I'm really glad that you liked the beginning of this story, so I thank you dearly. Tsukune told Mizore about his real nature so fast because he could feel that she wasn't lying when she told him that she genuinely wanted to be his friend.

He perceived that she felt lonely like him and was moved by hearing how much she cared for him, and she showed it very much in this new chapter. Perhaps she acted too jealous by throwing ice cubes against Moka and Kurumu haha, but that's just because she likes the boy way too much.

In fact, she didn't hesitate to throw a lance against the first asshole and hitting the second for making fun of Tsukune, as she couldn't stand that someone hurt him at all. Despite that, the young man assured her that he wouldn't hate her because of that, as, despite being a pacifist and disliking violence, he knows that she did it just to protect him.

Such event made them get closer and Mizore even accepted to go to school from now on, so she can spend more time together her Tsukune. Will she be clingy with him in class too? Stay tuned to find out.
