Chapter 6

During a quiet afternoon after the end of all the lessons, Tsukune was spending time alone with Mizore in front of the lake they visited often, sitting in front of it while she leaned her head on his shoulder. Since she wanted to help him forget the nightmare he had, she thought that a nice place like the lake would be helpful to not think about it and it looked like a good idea.

Her love crush was relaxing with his eyes closed, enjoying the fresh breeze and liking that she was clinging on him. "Thank you for suggesting to come here, Mizore. It's really helping me.", he told her, smiling.

"Hehe, you're welcome. I'm also happy that we're here alone like we're on date.", she told him, hugging his arm and blushing.

"Yeah, it kinda looks like that.", he said, scratching his head. The snow girl giggled in bliss because he agreed with her, so she felt a beautiful sensation in her heart. She had fun while going to school with him, but it was the moments spent alone with him that made her even happier because she didn't have to compete with Moka and Kurumu for his affection.

Moreover, he kissed her on the forehead last time she stayed at his room for the night, which made her blush more by just remembering it. She also desired to receive another one but on her lips one day, as she loved him with all her heart.

"You know, I send letters to my parents once per month.", he suddenly told her, making her look at him.

"I told them how it's going here and the friends I made, avoiding to write about the school being for monsters and the times I risked my life of course.", he added, with his eyes gazing at the lake.

"Do you miss them?", she asked him, worried.

"Yeah, I'd like to go back one day to my hometown to hug them and talk with them. Do you miss your family too, Mizore?"

"Yes, the place I was born is all covered in snow and I grew up there with my mom. I played snowball fights with the other kids and skied a lot during my childhood.", she replied, smiling at remembering those days.

"It must be a wonderful place then."

"I would like to go back there with you one day hehe.", she told him, hugging his arm and giggling. Her display of affection made him blush and scratch his cheek, but he smiled too.

He didn't tell his parents about her yet, but he was going to write in the next letter about how he met such a caring girl that didn't want anything of bad tp happen to him and that he liked spending time with. Maybe she liked him too much and was overprotective, but they were the traits that made him get affectionate to her.

'Mom and Dad know only about Moka and Kurumu, so I bet they will be surprised when I write about Mizore too. I hope that they don't start thinking that I am playboy.', he thought, still blushing. It was incredible how he made three yokai girls fall for him, but somehow, he felt something more special only towards the cute yukionna.

He even used his right arm to bring her closer to him, making her giggle more. It was like he felt relaxed and safe with her, and with the add of the quiet place they were, such sensation was greater. The times he was attacked from other yokais were scary, but now he could feel at ease and overall happy. Happy to spend time with Mizore.

"I would like to visit your hometown, so if you happen to go back there one day, can I come along?", he asked her, smiling.

Her eyes shined at hearing those words, so she nodded happily while she got surrounded by various flying hearts. She looked forward to show such beautiful place covered in snow and to present him to her family and her friends there, after all.

They continued to relax near the lake for half an hour before deciding to go back to their dormitories, or to say it better, to his room. Tsukune's room was like Mizore's too now by considering that she was more there than in her room at the girls' dormitory, and such thing only made her extremely happy because it felt like they were living together.

So they walked back to the dormitories, and after he entered in the boys' one and reached his room, he opened the window to let the snow girl come in. "It's a shame boy and girls can't share rooms freely. In that way we wouldn't need to act like this.", she told him, frowning.

"I think it's because the school wants to avoid episodes of peeping or other scandals.", he said instead, scratching the back of his head.

"The only peeping tom is Morioka-senpai and I don't mind if you want to do ecchi things to me~.", she told him, pressing her chest on him and smiling at him.

Blushing like her, he shaked his head and patted her head, making her giggle. "I know you like me a lot, but I can't do those things. I'm still unsure about my feelings.", he told her.

"It's because Moka and Kurumu like you too, right? That just means I will do my best to be the girl with a special place in your heart.", she told him, hugging him and snuggling her face in his chest.

Tsukune continued to blush and reciprocated her hug, caressing her hair too. Even if she was beautiful and he was affectionate to her, he wanted to be sure about his feelings and who he truly liked, but her intention to do her best to make him fall for her was something he admired.

Since it was still afternoon, they decided to study together a little, so they took their books and pencils and sat down at his table. Obviously, she didn't keep any distance from him, so she could study while leaning her head on his shoulder, making both of them blush.

In their classroom, it was always Moka the best student with the highest grades, but Mizore's ones were good. The boy had average grades that ameliorated over the time, though, those of the succubus were still low because she was lazy and didn't like studying.

As he didn't get accepted by any other high school because he couldn't pass the exams to enter in one and even if the school he was in now was supernatural and dangerous, the human boy promised himself to strive to do his best to have good grades for his and his family's sake. Even if the real reason behind his determination was the desire to spend all the three years with his friends, especially the one that was actually being clingy with him.

But while he glanced at her, his brown eyes focused on her lips too; they looked soft and were clear like her skin, causing him to blush more and look at his book. It was like he wanted to kiss her there, but he dismissed the thought and focused on studying.

'Since she spends time with me and we sleep together, we look already like a couple. Still, I don't want to do something to her without being sure about my feelings; I would hurt her.', he thought in concern. Having a kind heart, he wouldn't be able to forgive himself if he hurt her somehow because like she cared deeply for him, he worried for her a lot too.

She was helping him to forget that nightmare that terrorized him and protected him previously from the lizard men and that snake man, so hurting her feelings was something of unacceptable for him. Obviously, he didn't want to take too much time to understand who the girl he loved more than a friend; that would be cruel towards them.

The two of them kept on revising their notes and other notions for an hour, after which they decided to start preparing the dinner. So while he began to cook himself a miso soup and some pieces of meat, the stalker girl took the salad out of the fridge and seasoned it with vinegar and salt.

Once his food was ready, they dressed the table and had dinner, sitting in front of each other and saying Itadakimasu together. Enjoying a dinner with him made Mizore feel in bliss, finding him cute while he ate the miso soup in delight.

"Mizore, do snow girls really can't stand summer? You told me that hot temperatures are annoying for you.", he asked her, out of curiosity.

"If the heat is too strong, it would be indeed annoying.", she replied, eating a salad's leaf.

"I see. I asked you because maybe we could swim in the lake when it's lesser cold.", he told her, blushing.

"Y-You want to see me in a swimsuit?", she asked him, flushed.

"I-I just want to have fun together at the lake.", he said, sweatdropping. His reply only made her giggle and say that she would gladly swim with him in the lake, making him blush more and like her happy expression. It was really adorable.

To his surprise, she took his hand and placed it on her face, looking at him with sweet eyes. "We snow girls have very soft skin. Can you feel it?"

"Yeah, it really is.", he replied, caressing her face and making her giggle. Patting her face instead of her head was literally a different thing, as her skin was soft indeed. He even blushed more when she kissed his hand affectionately.

"I was overjoyed when you kissed my forehead, so I'd really like to receive another of your kisses.", she told him blissfully.

"You surprise me every day with how much you like me.", he said, scratching his red cheek while she giggled. Maybe she was obsessed with him and his articles, but she was really sweet and caring towards him.

So albeit he was flustered, he placed another hand on her face and got closer to kiss her forehead again, surprising her and coloring her face in bright red. "Thank you for caring for me so much.", he told her, still flushed.

"Hehe, I can't help but love you more.", she said, touching her face and smiling brightly. Their dinner together continued with them smiling at each other, even when they cleaned the table and washed the dishes together.

After that, he suggested to watch a movie in DVD on his TV, with her agreeing gladly. So he inserted the disc in the player and turned on the TV to play a funny comedy he liked watching, taking place on the couch.

Obviously, the crystal eyes girl sat next to him, leaning on his shoulder with a blissful smile on the face. 'If someone saw us, they would take us for a married couple. If boys and girls could share rooms, I would like to have you as my roomate.', he thought, blushing and glancing at her.

If some boys at school were perverts that harassed girls, he and others weren't like them and respected their female classmates. In particular, he was loved by 3 girls because of what he did for them and for his gentle heart that wished to not harm anybody, which was one of many things that Mizore loved about him.

They even laughed together while watching the funny scenes in the movie, with the yukionna feeling happier at seeing him laugh wholeheartedly. Her care for him brought her to do her best to make him always happy and to protect him from any possible danger, especially because he entrusted her with his secret.

The mere idea of betraying his trust was horrible for her, as she loved him very much, even more now that they spent time together more often. She thought that she was closer to him in comparison to Moka and Kurumu, so it was like an advantage for her.

He never gave a kiss to her rivals, so by counting those he gave her, she was the only one he was sweeter with. Her desire to be kissed on the lips was great, but being kissed on the forehead twice was enough to fill her heart of joy. A joy that grew more by just spending time alone with him.

And while they watched the movie, she suddenly rested her head on his lap, catching him in surprise. "Mizore?"

"Hehe, this feels fantastic.", said the giggling yukionna, blushing. Her cuteness made him blush for the umpteenth time, smiling and caressing head. He never gave a lap pillow to a girl before, so she was the first that rested her head on his legs. She was so cute that his heart beat faster.

So they continued to watch the movie together like that until it was finished, talking together about the scenes they liked the most before he decided to take a shower before going to bed. Of course, she asked him if they could take one together, only to be denied ny him because it was embarrassing.

She tried telling him that she was totally ok if he saw her naked, but he refused because he wanted to respect her privacy, so he went to have a shower alone. Mizore frowned to be denied like that, but she smiled and appreciated how kind and polite he was. She absolutely loved that about him.

While taking a shower, her love interest's mind thought at when she described her hometown, wondering if there were any yetis in such place. He didn't forget the explanation at school about that type of yokai being part of S-class monsters, so he asked himself if they could be strong as vampires or even more.

Inner Moka's strength was already big from what his eyes saw whenever she fought, so he would be astonished if another type of yokai could surpass that strength. He hoped that he and his friends could avoid to get in fights against other monsters, as he simply wanted to have a normal school life without hurting anybody, being a pacifist.

Anyways, he finished to take a shower and wore his pajamas after drying himself, telling Mizore that she could have a shower after he exited from the bathroom. Nodding to him, she took the pajamas she brought from her room and went to the bathroom, with him going to his bedroom.

Laying on his bed, he stared at the cellar while thinking about the following day for some minutes until the yukionna arrived, wearing a cute white pajamas. "Doesn't it feel like we're newlyweds?", she asked him, joining him under the blankets and clinging onto him.

Her words made him blush but chuckle too, so he hugged her and wished her a good night before turning off the light. Smiling, she wished him the same thing and cuddled with him, closing her eyes too to sleep again with her beloved Tsukune.

The following morning, they woke up and had breakfast together before remeeting outside of the dormitories to go to school together, with her clinging onto his arm. "Look, it's Aono-kun and his girlfriend."

"They're so clingy today too."

"It's cute that he has 3 girls who like him hehe."

Those comments made by some students made him and Mizore blush, even if she giggled at the idea of being seen as his sweetheart. But her moment with him got interrupted by Kurumu that greeted him with her signature hug, getting stopped surprisingly by him.

"Ehhh? Why did you stop me, Tsukune?"

"I prefer you refrain from hugging me with your chest on my face.", he told her, sweatdropping.

"W-what?! You don't like my hugs anymore? Nooo!", she exclaimed, crying comically.

"I didn't say that. C-calm down."

"Tsukune loves my hugs and my boobs more."

Mizore's input made the succubus glare at her, especially when the boy patted her head and told her to not fight. "Good morning, everyone!", suddenly said Moka, clinging on his other arm.

"Good morning to you too.", he said, caressing her head and making her rivals pout.

"No fair! I want a headpat too, mouu!"

Sweatdropping, the young man caressed Kurumu's head, making her giggle while she clung onto him as well. Mizore was annoyed that her rivals latched onto her beloved, but when he asked them except for her to detach from him, she smiled blissfully.

"Why can she stay glued to you?", asked the frowning succubus.

"Because Tsukune likes me more and we were on a date yesterday."

Obviously, such response from the stalker girl made him and the other girls gasp, with the ears of other students catching what she said and beginning a new chain of rumours. So the human boy had to reach their classroom while being asked by Kurumu and Moka about his "date" with Mizore, managing to calm them down by explaining that they simply spent the time in relax at the lake.

Though, since there was Nekonome's lesson in the morning, the cat woman made him blush by stating again that she rooted for Mizore to get with him, causing her rivals to pout again and their classmates to chuckle. Dealing with romance at school seemed troublesome for Tsukune, but he could admit that it was funny as situation.

Nekonome's lesson talked about some new yokai writers, interrogating a student about the book she gave them to read and smiling because he answered most of the questions correctly. Between the various teachers, she was considered as the most gentle one that helped her pupils in difficulty, liking to talk about their romantic relationships too as she did with Mizore and Tsukune's case too.

For those reasons, she was well liked by all the students and she wanted them to be polite and respectful of others in order to integrate perfectly in human society. In fact, she was aware of those like Saiou and the lizard men that bullied Tsukune and his friends, so she was very disappointed of them. And as she told him, she considered the young man as her kindest student.

Speaking of him, he followed her lesson diligently by taking notes and listening to his classmate's interrogation, applauding for him like the others when he passed it. Although his eyes glanced at Mizore sometimes, blushing before her smile.

'It seems that she's liking going to school now, despite she still doesn't trust other people easily. Spending time with her also here is something I like very much.', he thought, smiling. His blush increased when she glanced at him, focusing his attention back on his notebook and making her giggle. The fact that he was looking at her made her heart flutter, with the vampire and the succubus frowning in jealousy.

When the morning lessons ended, they went with him and the snow girl to have lunch at the cafeteria, twitching their eyes when Mizore sat next to him and tried to feed him sweetly. "Why do you keep trying to get between me and my honey?!", complained Kurumu, fully jealous.

"Because he likes my affections for him. He prefers me.", she retorted, rubbing her face on his shoulder.

"He likes hugging me too.", said Moka, blushing and pouting.

"What? Did you hug her, Tsukune?", asked him Mizore, seeming sad.

"It was just to cheer her up, since she's my friend.", he replied, caressing her head again. That did the trick and she smiled again, enjoying the nice gesture. On the other hand, her love rivals continued to frown, getting the impression that the boy was more affectionate to her than to them. If they were to find out that he gave her kisses, their jealousy would grow, even if they were just on her forehead.

Thankfully, no other asshole dared to disturb their lunch time again, as the students that were envious of the young man diminished day by day. Those that were proud of him for having the attention of 3 beautiful girls were way more, grinning at the scene.

The female students found cute how the 3 girls competed for his affections, with some of them being attracted to him too. These were the mermaids from the swimming club that he, Kurumu and Moka tried to join before entering in the newspapers one, and after he forgave them for attacking them, they admired his kindness and blushed just by looking at him. The same thing could be said for their president, who was more attracted to him than before.

After filling their bellies, he and his friends went to follow the P.E. lessons outside. While the girls would practice running, the boys could play football and that made Tsukune smile because it was his favorite sport.

In fact, during the match, he dribbled most of his opponents under their surprised eyes, with the girls blushing because they found him cool. Mizore totally admired him, smiling brightly when he scored a goal and grinned.

"Hehe, honey is so good at playing football. I fell for him again.", said Kurumu, giggling.

"Tsukune is really good.", said Moka instead, blushing too.

Mizore didn't say anything because she kept staring at him, adoring how happy he was after scoring a goal. 'I can't help it, I love everything about him. Each day I spend with him makes my heart beat faster and my feelings for him get more intense. I'm so in love with him.', she thought happily.

The fact that he told her about his parents, that he said that he would life to visit her hometown and the moments they cuddled in his room didn't do anything else but increase the already strong feelings she had for him. And because he was very important for her, she wouldn't let anyone hurt him again and she would protect him. He was everything for her. Everything.

And chapter 6 is here, everyone! What could be more relaxing than chilling near a lake with a beautiful yukionna that loves you? Tsukune would say anything after spending time like that with Mizore, during which he told her about his family and listened to when she talked about hers and her hometown.

He even said that he would like to visit it one day, making Mizore very happy, especially when he gave her another lovely kiss at dinner haha. As you can read, the mermaids and the swimming club's president admire him after he forgave them after they attacked him and his friends, and Nekonome-sensei totally roots for Mizore and him.

He was showed to like football in the anime/manga, so I thought of making him good at it, which made his potential love interests, especially Mizore, like him more. Will he look again at her lips with the desire to kiss her? What will he write in his next letter for his family? Stay tuned to find out.
