Chapter 7

Dear Mom and Dad,

how are you? I hope you and Kyouko are ok, because I'm doing fine here at the academy. My grades are good and recently I've made friends with another girl named Shirayuki Mizore. I met her for the first time when she approached me to praise my articles on the newspaper, and since then, I got closer and more affectionate to her. I like spending time with her and I'd like to present her to you along my other friends here.

Yesterday I even played football during P.E., getting complimented by everyone for how good I was and my club's newspaper is read by various students, even if our president is not exactly a role model to follow. As soon as I can visit you, I will tell you in advance and invite my friends along.

After finishing to write the letter, the young man, who was currently in his room after another nice school day, put it inside an envelope to send it thanks to the bus driver that accompanied him to the school's dimension on his first day. Mizore wasn't in his room because she had to clean hers in the girls' dormitory, but he knew that she would wait for him the following morning to walk to school together.

'She was very clingy today too like Moka and Kurumu, especially when we wrote some articles together at the club.', he thought, smiling and blushing. She did her best to help to forget about his nightmare, so he was deeply grateful to her for that.

In fact, that tremendous monster that was about to devour him in his dream didn't appear anymore in his mind, as only the image of a happy Mizore was what appeared instead, which made his heart beat faster. As if his affection for her increased further.

He was glad that no one knew that she slept in his room with him more than once, as he didn't want that he and she got in trouble. Since he cared her like she did for him, he didn't want her to be sad or get in danger, and the same thing was for Moka and Kurumu.

While he left the letter on his desk, he laid on his bed and thought also about how the mermaids praised him after seeing him play football, apologizing again for attacking him and his friends at the swimming pool. Being kind as he was, he smiled and assured them that didn't hold any grudge against them, causing them to blush and admire him more than before.

The yukionna frowned when she saw him interacting with them, regaining her smile when he gave her attention and they wrote articles together as usual, getting teased by Ginei that said that they were really cute together. Of course, the vampire and the succubus in love with him pouted and they tried to cling onto him too, which made him blush and sweatdrop.

His school life was proceeding fairly well, and even if he got attacked by other yokais, his only fear would get found out as a human. But he started to get sleepy while laying on his bed, so he wore his pajamas and turned off the light to fall asleep, unaware of a black spider that was spying him from outside of his window.

Inside another room, precisely one of the females' dormitory, a girl with dark purple red hair and purple eyes was controlling the spider that spied Tsukune, seeing what the arachnid's six eyes watched. 'So he's Aono Tsukune-kun from the newspaper club? He's very cute fufu. The orders are to make that club pay the bribe, but nothing forbids me from making a move on him.', thought the mysterious girl, licking her lips and blushing while still spying on him.

Once the morning light passed through the window, the young man opened his eyes and got up to brush his teeth. He then prepared himself the breakfast, frowning because there wasn't Mizore to join him; since she began to spend time with him in his room, he was getting used to it and kinda disliked when she wasn't there.

Such thought made him blush and smile, understanding that was just the clear example of how more affectionate he got to her, which was inevitable if he considered the times she protected him and helped him to forget that hellish nightmare. So after he finished his breakfast and wore his school uniform, he left his room to take the elevator and go outside, meeting the sweet snow girl that was waiting for him.

"Good morning, Tsukune. I'm sorry that I wasn't with you tonight.", she told him apologetically.

"Good morning. Don't worry, you had to clean your room after all.", he said, blushing and caressing her head. Mizore giggled blissfully, adoring the gesture and leaning her head on his shoulder while starting to walk together.

Of course, the students that noticed them smiled as usual before such sight because they looked like a couple to them. Although they chuckled when Moka and Kurumu appeared too to cling on him, making the male students proud of him. In fact, those that were envious of him diminished day by day, as they could see that Moka and the succubus had eyes only for him.

Mizore was obsessed with him and she was always close to him ever since she met him during the club's activities, so most of the students saw her as his dear and caring girlfriend. Said "girlfriend" latched on his arm during all the way to school and her rivals clung on him too of course, making the boy blush and smile. He was happy that they were so affectionate to him.

After reaching their class, the four of them had to follow the lesson of their art's teacher, who told her students to draw what they liked the most and smiled when she saw them starting to draw fast. Tsukune decided to draw a scene of a football match, since it was his favorite sport, while his potential love interests looked at him before drawing something.

"So you like playing football, Aono-kun? You exprimed your passion well enough in this drawing. Good job.", told him the teacher, admiring his work while he thanked her.

But when she and the other students looked at those of Moka, Kurumu and Mizore, she giggled. "Ara ara, you 3 drew who you like the most as it seems.", she said, making them and the boy blush.

Moka's drawing was a portrait of him smiling happily, Kurumu's was a muscular and shirtless version of him while Mizore's was him doing a wall slam and smiling confidently. The young man blushed more at seeing those drawings, with some female classmates liking how hot he was in them.

"You're very lucky, Aono-kun.", told him the teacher, patting his shoulder while he scratched his head. His friends smiled and were still flushed, with the yukionna going to give him her drawing.

"I want to give it to you as present.", she told him happily.

"Ehh?! Then I will give him mine too!"

"Here's mine, Tsukune."

All 3 girls gave him those portraits, causing to thank them embarrassed while their teacher and the other students found the whole scene funny and cute. Their display of their feelings for him was always the main cause of the funny situations he was in as it seemed, but he wasn't annoyed of course.

Such display was present even during lunch time, Mizore and Moka wanted to feed him sweetly and the succubus pouted because she wanted to sit next to him too. The other students chuckled at the scene, even if the unknown girl that spied the boy was at the cafeteria, smiling and fixing her gaze on him.

' He will be mine soon.', she thought, giggling and licking her lips again. Some people that noticed her stayed away from her, as they quickly recognized the uniform she was wearing. They didn't want to have any problems with her or those she was affiliated with.

Following lunch time, the human boy and his friends went back to their class for some social studies lessons, but while he was focused on listening to the teacher, there was again a spider that was spied on him from outside of the window. Said spider quickly hid itself when he turned towards there, as he felt like he was observed.

On the other hand, Mizore perceived some yokai energy coming from outside. 'Is there someone that wants to hurt my Tsukune?', she thought, getting angry inside. Even if she didn't see the one that emanated that energy, she felt it coming from the window near her beloved, which only annoyed her and made her keep an eye for him.

Moka and Kurumu felt an uneasy sensation too of course, so they made sure to check on their love interest, blushing because they liked the diligence with which he took notes. That was another of the various qualities they adored about him, with his kindness on top of all.

The 3 monster girls kept their guards up even while they walked towards the club's room with him, with the yukionna getting more annoyed. "Hey guys, how is it going?", asked them Ginei when they entered in the room.

"Hello, Ginei-senpai. Fine, thanks.", replied the human boy, taking place at a desk along with the yukionna.

"Very good. I take up the occasion to compliment you all for how popular our club became. All the news you wrote in the newspaper are liked by lots of students."

The words of praise from their upperclassman made Tsukune and the girls smile, even if Kurumu said that the werewolf had to stop peeping on girls in the changing rooms, since she heard complaints from some of them. Ginei sweatdropped and joked by saying that old habits never died, which only made his kouhais frown at him.

Anyways, after thanking Ginei for the praise, they proceeded to work on the next issue to deliver soon, so Tsukune worked with Mizore to write articles together as usual. Her rivals disliked that it was always her to work with him, as they wanted to sit next to him too and lean the head on his shoulder like she did.

Unbeknownst to them, the mysterious spy was observing them through the eyes of her spider, focusing her attention on Tsukune in particular. She guessed that he and Mizore were close to each other, but since she set her eyes on him, she didn't want to back down.

She kept watching him all the time, and when he said that he was going to the toilet, it was time to make her move. The young man left the club's room to reach the toilet, but while he was walking, he noticed a purple haired girl leaning on the wall.

"Are you Aono Tsukune-kun, right?", she asked him, smiling.

"Yes, who are you?", he asked her instead.

"My name's Keito Jouromiya. I'm part of the publuc safety committee to stop students from getting in fights.", she replied, smiling at him and surprising him.

"Public safety commitee?"

"Yes, you can say that I keep an eye on every student. I'm also in charge of collecting the bribes of each club like yours."

"B-Bribes? I've never heard of a rule like that.", was his reaction at hearing that.

"Hehe, it looks like your club president forgot to tell you and your friends about it.", she said, getting closer to him and looking into his eyes, which made him feel uneasy.

"You know, now that I look at you closely, you're even cuter~.", she told him, smiling and blushing. The compliment made him blush too, especially when she grabbed his shoulders.

"If your club pays the bribe to us and you go out with me, there won't be any consequence~.", she whispered in his ear, shocking him. But suddenly, his arm got hugged by Mizore, making him get away from Keito.

"Stay away from my Tsukune.", said the yukionna, glaring coldly at her.

"Fufu, so it's true that you're overprotective of him. Too bad that I want to make him mine anyways."

After saying that, Keito's eyes changed into a spider's ones and she shot some webs from her hands towards him, shocking him and Mizore. Acting rapidly, the yukionna created an ice shield to stop the web shoots.

"So you're a snow girl, huh? You missed one of my strings.", said Keito, smiling evilly.

To his shock, the boy got caught by a string that Keito used to pull him towards her fast, making Mizore gasp. Under her and his eyes, some spider legs came out of Keito's stomach, using them to get out from a window while bringing him along.

"Tsukune!", shouted the yukionna desperately, glaring menacingly at the spider woman before chasing them. Keito used her spider legs to run rapidly towards the forest, where she was now alone with him.

Then she got closer to his face with his, still smiling while he was scared. "Oh, you don't need to fear me. I don't want to hurt you.", she told him gently.

"W-why are you doing this?"

"I'm simply following the orders of the commitee, but after I spied on you, I got interested in you~. Become my man, Tsukune-kun~.", she told him, shocking him and making him blush because she was about to kiss him. Her attempt got stopped by Mizore that threw some icy kunais against her, who dodged them while they cut the strings that trapped the boy.

Falling on the ground, the young man got reached by the yukionna. "Are you ok, Tsukune?", she asked, worried that he was hurt.

"I'm fine. Thank you.", he told her, smiling at her. His words made her smile too, but she glared coldly towards the spider woman.

"You ruined my kiss with him, you idiot. What? Are you angry because I want to steal your Tsukune?"

Angrier, Mizore assumed her yokai form and charged against Keito with her claws, who used her speed to dodge the attack and threw some webs towards her. Using her cold air, the yukionna freezed them instantly, turning them into ice that broke in pieces on the ground.

"How vexing.", said Keito before dodging another attack, making Mizore grit her teeth. The boy watched the fight in concern for his friend, wanting to stop them to avoid that someone got hurt. He could see that instead of a supervisor, the spider woman was acting more like a bully, especially because he knew that she lied about the bribe thing.

"Tsukune-kun, why don't you forget this creepy girl and you go out with me instead~? I promise you that you will get respected by other students.", suddenly told him Keito, making Mizore glare more at her.

"What do you mean?", he asked her, astonished.

"You will be feared by other students and get some privileges as well. All you need to do is to become my boyfriend~.", she told him, smiling at him.

"Don't listen to her! She's lying!", exclaimed his friend, managing to scratch the enemy's left arm that glared at her.

"I'm not interested."

Those words coming from his mouth shocked both girls, with Keito asking him, "What did you say?"

"I'm not interested in becoming your boyfriend and I don't care about such privileges. I will never like someone like you!", he told her seriously, glaring at her.

Angry for being refused like that, some fangs appeared in her mouth and she tried to attack him, making him cover himself with his arms. But thankfully, Mizore exploited the moment to freeze her, stopping her attack and making her fall on the ground, totally unable to move.

"Tsukune!", she exclaimed, turning back to normal and running towards him to hug him tightly.

"Thank goodness you're not wounded. I wouldn't forgive myself if you got hurt again.", she told him, with her face on his chest.

"You followed me earlier because you were worried for me, right? Thank you. This is the fourth time you save me haha.", he said, blushing and reciprocating her hug.

"I felt her yokai energy earlier, as if she was observing you. I'm glad I made it in time."

Smiling, he patted her head and continued to hug her back; he was happy that she protected him once again, especially because she didn't get hurt. He wouldn't able to forgive himself either if she got wounded instead, and to her happiness, he kissed her forehead again.

"I knew she lied about the bribe thing, but I didn't expect her to kidnap me to m-make me hers.", he said, flushed.

"That bitch tried to kiss you too. I will never forgive her.", said the snow girl, glaring towards the frozen enemy while he sweatdropped.

"What worries me the most is the public safety committee she mentioned. It seems that they're abusing their power to bully the students instead of keeping the order at school."

"I think the same thing. We must tell the others about it."

"Before that, I will clean your hair. You got some spider webs on it.", he told her, caressing her head. Blushing, she smiled and nodded to him, sitting on a piece of wood while he proceeded to remove the webs.

"Hehe, this feels so nice."

"It would be difficult to remove them when y-you take a bath in my room later, after all.", he said, scratching his red face.

"I look forward to cuddle with you tonight-"

She stopped her sentence when he suddenly kissed her again, but this time on her cheek, whose color changed from white into red. "That was my thanks for saving me again.", he told her, more flustered.

The beats in her heart accelerated and she got so happy that she instantly hugged him, snuggling her face into his chest affectionately and enjoying his smell. "I love you, Tsukune. I love you so much hehe."

Still blushing, he smiled and reciprocated her hug. He guessed that a kiss on the cheek would make her very happy, but it seemed that her happiness was far greater than he expected. Though, since he needed to go to the toilet, he reluctantly broke off the hug and told her about it before hiding between the bushes.

Of course, she turned around and covered her eyes to respect his privacy. "What movie are we watching tonight, Tsukune?", she asked him meanwhile.

"I thought about the first Alien movie. I bought it in DVD years ago."

"Hehe, it looks like we're already a couple. Don't you think?"

Her sentence made him blush more, but instead of denying it, he surprisingly agreed and made her giggle more out of pure joy, clinging onto his arm once he was done with his problem before walking back towards the academy. Normally he didn't like being inside creepy woods, but having her at his side gave him a nice feeling of safety.

'She never stops caring for me, and even after knowing that I'm human, she continued to like me a lot. I'm glad that Keito-san didn't hurt her.', he thought, glancing a the sweet yukionna. While he watched her fight, he was worried for her, but luckily she just got some webs on her hair that he removed.

He also asked himself why someone that commitee would be so cruel towards other students and why they tormented innocent people instead of keeping the order and the peace at school. But while he asked himself that, his mind remembered the drawings that the girl made for him, Mizore's in particular where he was doing a wall-slam.

It was like she dreamed about being asked out by him in such way, just like it happened in various shoujo manga that his cousin adored reading. Moka liked it when he smiled happily and Kurumu desired to see him shirtless to snuggle her face on his pectorals.

Thinking about how they drew him made him smile, patting Mizore's head casually. "I really adore your headpats hehe."

"Ah, I did it without thinking."

"I don't see anything wrong with it. You can caress me and kiss me whenever you want.", she told him, pressing her chest on his arm and making him blush more. The soft sensation was pretty nice for him, but he avoided to have perverted thoughts about her.

He knew that she loved him and would be glad that he did ecchi things to her, but he was still unsure about his feelings. Although, after she saved him again, he got more affectionate to her by considering the kiss on the cheek he gave her, and she wanted to receive one and others on the lips and to become his girlfriend even more.

As you can read, Tsukune wrote the letter for his family but had to deal with one of the supervisors from the safety committee of Yokai academy, who spied on him and tried to make him her boyfriend afterwards.

Thankfully, Mizore was there to save him and he wasn't afraid of refusing the spider girl and the privileges she mentioned about. Since this story is an AU, some characters like Keito that appeared later could appear in a different moment in comparison to the manga.

It also look like that Mizore and her rivals love drawing who they like the most in their personal ways haha, and after she saved him, the snow girl received his kiss on the cheek too, looking forward to have dinner and sleep in his room again. Will they get more info about the public supervisors perhaps from Ginei once they tell their clubmates what happened? Stay tuned to find out.
