Chapter 13

Inside the public safety commission's room, the members of it were all sitting around a table with serious expressions on their face, even Kuyou's was angrier. "So, why didn't Morisaki show up since yesterday?", asked the blonde man in annoyance.

"I fear that he got killed by Aono-kun and the snow woman, boss. In the place he went to ambush them, I found some pieces of ice with traces of blood inside.", answered a glasses boy, adjusting his accessory.

"For real? But how could it be, deshi? Golems are supposed to be resistant against ice.", said a flabbergasted Deshiko in disbelief.

"I believe that they used water to weaken his body and freeze him then. But I wonder who could have been to k-"

"It was Tsukune."

Everyone's attention got caught by another member of the commission, who happened to be a blackhaired man with short hair. "What did you say, Ryoga?"

"I said that it was Tsukune that killed Morisaki. Once he got frozen by the yukionna, that guy smashed his head in pieces with a piece of concrete or something similar. Like he wanted to get rid of him."

Such revelation shocked each one of the other members, except for Kuyou that was intrigued on the other hand. "So that pacifist arrived to kill somebody, huh? And he did it in his human form…How interesting.", he said, changing his expression into a wicked grin.

"That just gives us the perfect chance to punish them in public because of such murder, but first, I want to demolish their annoying club. So you guys know what to do."

At those words, all of them started to laugh maniacally and they planned horrible things to do to their club. Things that included hurting those dear to him of course.

Speaking of him, the young human was inside his room together with Mizore, who hugged him close to herself. After what happened the day before, he didn't want to go to school, so he stayed absent with her doing the same for not leaving him alone.

They wre currently on his bed, as he was still shocked for what he did the previous day; he literally killed a student, and despite his girlfriend assured him that he wasn't a murderer, he couldn't help but feel like that.

What left him on that state was rather that voice in his head that convinced him to kill Morisaki, as it sounded exactly like his consciousness' one but more aggressive. Could it be that he had a hidden rage towards evil yokais? A rage that went in contrast against his pacifism? Those were the questions that tormented his mind at the moment.

"I'm sorry that you stayed here with me instead of going to school.", he told her apologetically.

"Don't worry, I can't leave you alone when you're like this. After what happened yesterday, I won't let anyone attack you again.", she assured him, smiling and hugging his head against her chest comfortingly.

Smiling too, he reciprocated her hug and tightened it, feeling protected like that. Despite she was totally obsessed with him, he understood that she held him dear deeply in her heart, wishing to spend happy moments with him and for his well being.

Through their loneliness due to being the only ones of their own kinds inside a school for monsters, they got closer first as friends and then as lovers when they kissed and had sex for the first time, creating a strong bond between them. Surely, also Moka and Kurumu were dear people for him, but he couldn't negate that the affection he had for the snow girl was immense like hers for him.

"I fear that that safety commission will hunt us down after what we did yesterday.", he told her, worried.

"If they dare to hurt you, I won't forgive them at all. No one must hurt you.", she said, hugging him tighter and getting angry.

Her expression morphed into a blushing one when he suddenly kissed, causing her to moan and kiss him back. "I don't want you to get angry like that. Your smile is so beautiful that I don't want you to lose it.", he told her, leaning his forehead on hers and looking into her eyes.

Her heart felt louder badumps at hearing that, so she smiled joyfully at him. He really knew how to make her love for him grow stronger by being that sweet, which was another reason she fell madly in love with him.

Still, the sudden sound of their growling stomachs surprised them, causing them to chuckle before deciding to have breakfast. Wearing aprons, they began to prepare the food, with him taking care of the oven while she cut the vegetables instead and dressed the table.

'Even without being really married, we act like wife and husband every time. This makes me overjoyed.', thought the crystal eyes girl, looking at her husband lovingly.

Once they prepared everything, they began to eat and drink nicely with him forgetting a little bit about the bad situation they were in. He understood that deep inside himself, he was angry at the monsters that wanted to harm him and his friends because they were the source of his fear of dying.

'That's right. They don't deserve any kindness because they're just cruel. We were able to befriend Kurumu, Ginei and the mermaids, but other monsters are evil. You clearly saw it with that bastard golem.', said that same aggressive voice of yesterday, with him keeping his smile to not make Mizore worried.

Having an inner conflict between his wish to not hurt the others and his big resentment towards wicked yokais was annoying enough, but considering what he did, it was evident that the second was prevailing on the first. And it would continue like that.

When they were done with having breakfast, the two lovers thought of leaving the bedroom to go towards their lake, since it wasn't raining outside. So, with him exiting from the main door and her by climbing down the tree, they were now directed to the lake.

As usual, she kept her arms around his right one affectionately, pressing her chest against it and making him blush as result. Even if he was used to her clinginess, he still blushed because of his feelings for her.

The road to the lake took just some minutes to reach it, and once there, they sat down on the grass by having her in the middle of his legs while he hugged her from behind. "The quietness of this place is something I don't want to lose. Also because this lake is special for both of us.", she told him blissfully with her eyes closed.

"Yeah, I felt the same way. Being alone with you here puts me at ease, something that it happens rarely at the academy."

"Considering all the attacks you had there, I totally understand you. No one understands you better than me.", she said, giving him a peck on the cheek and blushing.

He smiled at her for that, but his sixth sense warned him of a danger, so he looked swiftly behind them to see, to his horror, a group of people dressed in black and white. Seeing them too, Mizore's eyes glared towards them, getting up instantly to stand in front of him.

"So you were here, Aono Tsukune. You were absent at school, but it looks like you aren't ill at all.", said one of those people, who wore a pair of glasses.

"How dare you come to this place! What do you want from my Tsukune?", asked them the yukionna with a very cold tone.

"Hehe, we know that you and he are responsible for Morisaki's death, especially him.", replied a redhaired petite girl with a grin.

Those words caused the human boy to gasp, as his fear of getting found out about that became a terrible reality. "That look of terror is exactly like a guilty person's one. For that reason, you're going to be imprisoned in a cellar for the school's safety, Aono Tsukune."

At hearing that, Mizore's anger increased and she took on her monster form, glaring more menacingly. "Don't joke with me! I won't let you harm him! Never!", she exclaimed furiously.

"If you take his defenses, you will be imprisoned too, Shirayuki.", said the glasses boy impassively.

Before she could retort back, she felt a danger behind her, so she turned around and was horrified to see her beloved being held captive by a black haired one. "My name's Ryoga. If you attack someone of us, you can say goodbye to your boyfriend.", he told her, making her angrier.

Though, to everyone's shock, Tsukune elbowed Ryoga in the gut to free himself and took his girlfriend's hand to escape instantly from them. "Ow! That jerk didn't hesitate to hit me!"

"Deshiko, chase them and capture them both.", ordered the other guy, getting a nod from the redhead that started jumping from a tree to another.

Running as fast as they could, the couple tried to escape from their eyes, hiding between some bushes too. After that, he hugged Mizore very tight, surprising her. "Thank goodness you're ok.", he told her in relief, making her blush and hug him back.

"Your continuous care for me makes me always happy. Like hell I will let them take away your freedom and hurt you.", she told him with a serious expression.

"We have to stay hidden here for the moment. Once they passed through this area, we can return-"

"Return to where?", suddenly asked another voice. Gasping, he and the yukionna looked above their heads to see the smiling redhead with a staff in her hands.

"Did you really think of escaping from us, deshi? You're a cute but silly boy.", were Deshiko's words, getting down from the tree and trying to hit him.

Mizore blocked the hit with an icy shield, equipping some claws to counterattack the enemy that avoided them though. "Why opposing us, deshi? Surrender and I promise you that you won't suffer too much."

"Don't lie. You members of that commission are just sick bastards that torture innocent students. You're all corrupted deep in your souls!", exclaimed the snow woman, shooting some icy darts that managed to scratch Deshiko's arms that were now bleeding.

In the same moment, Ryoga and the other member arrived too and saw what happened. "Your insistence to threat the school's order is unforgivable. You brought this with your own actions.", said the glasses boy, taking them off before he started to transform.

Under the shocked eyes of the couple, his body changed and turned into a big dog's one, but with the add that other two heads with sharp teeth appeared. "N-no way…A Cerberus?"

"Indeed. This is my true form and if you don't want to be hurt, you have one last chance to-"

The three headed beast didn't finish his sentence because he had to jump and avoid a lance of ice thrown by the snow woman, who kept standing in front of her love. Further annoyed, the monster ran towards her with his various fangs open wide, managing to damage heavily her shield.

On the other hand, her beloved got approached by Ryoga, who was armed with a sharp knife. "Tsukune!"

"You should focus on your opponent, Shirayuki. You will pay for the elbow you gave me earlier instead."

"Wait, it's y-you guys that sent Morisaki to attack us. Why are you so adamant about destroying our club?!"

"Because it's always ruined the order and the safety inside Yokai academy, so we will bring its existence to an end!"

At that scream, Ryoga attacked Tsukune with knife, forcing him to dodge by moving to the right. His inner voice intervened again and convinced to punch him the enemy, hitting him on the face and making him crash on the ground.

'My self defense lessons are working thankfully.', he thought, ducking again to avoid Deshiko's staff.

Relieved that he wasn't hurt, Mizore concentrated on fighting the Cerberus, whose fangs ate her icy kunai like they were candies. "Don't you understand that ice is useless against a hellish beast like me?", he asked her, glaring at her.

"Everyone has a weakness no matter the species. So you aren't invincible.", she retorted, shooting some cold air to freeze him. That seemed to tick him off, as his movements got limited.

Meanwhile, dodging again the knife, the human boy took his opponent's arm and threw him on the ground, causing to grunt in pain at the crash. "Cut it out, ok? Don't force me to harm you more."

"Don't be stupid! You are a danger for the school, so imprisoning you will-"

That sentence didn't have an end because Ryoga got stabbed by his own knife used by the brown haired boy, who hit him in the throat. Such action caused everyone else to be flabbergasted, even the monstrous three headed dog.

"You didn't leave me any choice.", were Tsukune's apologetic words, taking the knife out of his neck. The member of the commission was so wounded that he couldn't even transform in a yokai, so he died instantly because of the blood loss.

'Don't feel sorry for what you've done. He tried to hurt us first, so he didn't deserve any pity. None of them.'

Nodding to that voice again, he focused his attention on Deshiko, who felt chills on her back. "Listen, I hate killing other people, but if you and your comrade don't leave us alone, I will take your life too.", he told her, glaring at her and pointing the knife dirty of blood towards her.

The redhead gulped and let her staff fall, looking at him as if he was a demon. A demon that would kill her mercilessly.

"What are you doing, idiot?! Don't get sc-Aaargh!"

The Cerberus let out a scream of pain when Mizore slashed at one of his heads, damaging it on the eye. As it seemed, despite the central one was the one in control, he could perceive the wounds on the others too.

That wound only enraged him more, running to maul her with his fangs. Alarmed, the young human ran towards him by pushing Deshiko out of the way, jumping on the beas's back.

"Tsukune!"

"What the heck? Get off me!"

"I won't let you kill her!", he exclaimed in retort, piercing one of his eyes with the knife. Releasing a loud scream, the monster fell on the ground, victim of the excruciating pain on his eye and cursing the young couple.

Taking advantage of that, Mizore unleashed a more powerful cold air, managing to freeze his entire body and seal him in a block of ice. In front of the defeat of her fellow members, Deshiko was totally speechless, scared and in denial that their commission, which was feared by all the students, got reduced like that.

She yelped when Tsukune looked at her, still holding the knife that killed Ryoga and destroyed one of the Cerberus' eyes. Walking towards her, he looked down at her with a mix of sadness and anger, scaring her more as result while his girlfriend maintained her yokai form for safety.

"I know I don't have any excuses and I can't apologize for killing two of your fellow members. Still, you're the ones that started to attack us first. You are the ones that forced me to do this.", he told her, gritting his teeth and shaking in anger.

"Why the heck can't you let us live a normal school life?! Safety commission?! Don't be ridiculous! You guys are just corrupted assholes that should get expelled immediately, got it?!"

The redhead shaked out of fear more in front of his outburst, starting to cry and apologize for her actions. "I-I'm sorry for everything, deshi. P-please, don't kill me."

"Just get out of our sight in this instant.", he ordered her, making her nod and run away as far as she could.

With the last enemy gone, Mizore returned to her normal form, going to her boyfriend and hugging his back to comfort him. "You saved me from that beast, so I'm deeply thankful to you.", she told him, smiling in relief that he wasn't hurt.

"I don't want to lose you. I don't want to lose anyone of my friends here.", he said, with his hair bangs covering his eyes and placing a hand on hers.

"You will never lose me, Tsukune. I will protect you and stay together with you forever. I promise you."

Those words made him shed a tear, but once he saw Ryoga's dead body and the frozen giant dog, he let his anger take over while clenching his right fist. Now he understood better why Inner Moka was so cold and merciless against her enemies, as not all of them had a good side in their hearts. They were rotten.

'Yes, that's right. We don't have to show any mercy to scums like them because they don't deserve it. And even if their boss will attack us, I won't escape.', he thought like his inner voice, as sign that his belief in pacifism disappeared.

Perhaps certain monsters like Ginei, Kurumu and others redeemed themselves and became his friends, though he couldn't say the same for Keito and the safety enforcers. The succubus and Moka didn't know that he killed someone, so if they were to find it out along his second kill, they would be totally flabbergasted.

Anyways, he calmed down and turned around to hug his beloved closer, causing her to blush while she felt melting in his arms. "If you promise me that you will protect me and stay with me forever, then it's the same for me. I won't let anyone take you away from me.", he told her, tightening his hold.

"I'm so happy you love me this much. You and I are bound and totally made for each other, so I will do my best to take care of you, my dear husband."

Smiling, he looked into her crystal eyes and took her lips in a kiss, making her moan while she reciprocated it gladly. He didn't say anything about the way she called him because she was right: they basically spent their life together as if they were a married couple, and moreover, they were now both overprotective of each other.

Even if the enforcers' boss showed up to attack them, they will fight him along their club members, since Ginei has a long time battle against those mongrels. A battle that would have its end very soon perhaps, considering what Tsukune did and would do especially.

And here's chapter 13, buddies! As you can read, the young human was still shocked because of what he did in the previous chapter, but that inner voice convinced to fully abandon being a pacifist. In fact, since those bastards of the safety commission attacked him and Mizore again, he killed another one without giving him the chance to transform either.

You could consider that voice in his head as the manifestation of his own resentment and rage towards wicked yokais that enjoy harming innocents, and after what happened, he's determined to protect Mizore and his friends at his best because he doesn't want to lose them.

Speaking of her, her obsession with him is higher than before, so just like he won't show any mercy against a new enemy, she will do the same. Will this final battle against the commission take course? Stay tuned to find out.
