13. It Happens to Everyone Sometimes

~ Baby Roach Drabbles ~

"Aunt Yenna, Aunt Yenna, Aunt Yenna," Baby Roach said urgently, tugging at the sorceress's skirt when Yennefer didn't pay attention to her quickly enough for the baby kelpie's liking.

"Yes, tiny impatient child?" Yennefer said, frowning down at Baby Roach as she freed the fabric of her skirt from the kelpie's clutches. "What is that you want?"

"I want to show you something!"

And with no further warning, Baby Roach turned into a black horse and tossed Yennefer into the nearby river.
