I'm back!
Song credit. This is me by Ke$ha.
Everyone enjoy!

As autumn arrived, Lacy found herself missing the Host Club as her attention was focused on the drama club and the school festival. Since Lacy was kidnapped and had missed the play for valentines day, the club had decided to perform The Greatest Showman for the parents with a twist the audience would not be expecting. The spin? Each of the students singing would be allowed to sing in their chosen genre. Lacy practically buzzed with excitement as she practiced with her fellow students, her rendition of This Is Me held tight in her hands. This small change was being held under complete secrecy to the point that even Haru and Kyoya weren't clued in on the new performance.
Finally the School Festival was open and Lacy stood with her classmates for class 1-A's event, Agence De Detectives Prives, the students and parents had 30 minutes to solve a mystery, Lacy stood next to Haruhi as one of the assistants.
"Why are you so happy?"
Haruhi asked as she observed all the famous people that were parents.
"Let's just say the drama club's performance is going to be exciting."
Haruhi gave her a questioning look as a beautiful woman approached the twins.
"Mom!"
She smiled at the boys as Lacy tried to contain her excitement around such a renowned designer.
"This looks like fun. The interior is pretty too."
The twins grabbed Haruhi and dragged her over to meet their mother, only for her to critique Haruhi's outfit and ask her sons if they measured her correctly before leaving.
"Well, they take after her that's for sure."
Lacy mumbled to herself before being grabbed by a student asking for help, glancing at her watch as it was announced that it was time for the Dance Party followed by a production from the drama club. With a grin Lacy practically ran to the fitting rooms and changed into her dress, a flowing pink and red gown with crystals around the bodice and a pair of red heels to match, applying some quick makeup to hide her scars and she was dashing to where the party was and almost ran into Haruhi, who was wearing a wig and a dress.
"Wow cousin, you look stunning."
Haruhi looked over at Lacy in shock.
"I feel ridiculous, but that dress is something. So that's what came in the mail a few days ago."
Haruhi lightly teased as thoughts of the large white box mysteriously appearing at their apartment filtered through her mind.
"Get anything good to eat?"
Lacy asked innocently as Haruhi smiled and handed her the plate she was holding before grabbing another and picking out the same food.
"Thank you."
Lacy whispered while eating and looking around for Kyoya.
"I figured you hadn't eaten today. With that performance after the party."
Lacy sighed.
"I'm nervous. But you're right, I forgot to eat."
The cousins smiled at each other until Tamaki appeared, silently Lacy excused herself from the pair and started wandering around to find Kyoya. Spotting him talking to a man that was more than likely his father, Lacy decided to introduce herself.
"Kyoya, I've been looking for you."
She smiled sweetly at him as he smirked after taking in her appearance.
"Lacy, allow me to introduce my father, Yoshio Ootori. Father, this is Lacy Davis."
Lacy bowed respectfully, noting quickly that Yoshio was staring at her, a look of disdain in his eyes.
"I was just coming to remind you, I reserved a front row seat for the production for you, your father is more than welcome to take the other seat I reserved."
Kyoya thanked Lacy before she was grabbed by another student and told it was time to get ready for the production.

The production started without any problems, the director had modified the part of the bearded lady, the part Lacy had decided to play, to the scared lady after Lacy had removed her makeup and showed him the scars on her face and neck. Without a beat Lacy performed her parts until it was her turn for her solo. A fast costume change and she knew she was taking a risk without her makeup, especially after seeing Kyoya and his father in the seats she had reserved. Walking out on stage the audience fell in a hush as she stood there waiting for the music to start, her hair was down and she was wearing a rich purple tube top and matching shorts, leaving little to the imagination, her scars had been covered in an array of colored glitter to shine on stage. Kyoya looked at her in shock as she smirked and started singing.

I am not a stranger to the dark
Hideaway, they say
'Cause we don't want your broken parts
I've learned to be ashamed of all my scars

Lacy ran a hand down her face over the scar.

Run away, they say
No one will love you as you are
But, I won't let them break me down to dust
I know that there's a place for us
For we are glorious

Her rich voice filled the auditorium.

When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown 'em out
I am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be
This is me

As the beat started she moved easily to it, the light shining off her scars as the audience looked on in amazement.

Look out, 'cause here I come
And I'm marching on to the dream I drum
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apologies
This is me

Taking a deep breath she easily hit her high notes as she was wrapped up in the moment. She was joined on stage by some of the backup dancers and quickly fell in step in a choreographed dance. Kyoya smirked as he watched her dance on the stage, pride filled him as she wasn't hiding behind her makeup, something that did not go unnoticed by his father.

Another round of bullets hits my skin
Well fire away 'cause today
I won't let the shame sink in
We are bursting through the barricades
And reaching for the sun
Yeah, that's what we've become
I won't let them break me down to dust
I know that there's a place for us
For we are glorious

When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown 'em out
I am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be
This me

Look out, 'cause here I come
And I'm marching on to the beat I drum
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apologies
This is me

Again the high notes came easy as Lacy stopped dancing and focused on the high notes.

And I know that I deserve your love
'Cause there's nothing I'm not worthy of

Everything suddenly slowed and Lacy slid on her knees into a spotlight right in front of Kyoya.

When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown 'em out
This is brave, this is bruised
This is who I'm meant to be
This is me

Two of the backup dancers picked Lacy up so she landed on her feet as the music picked back up again.

Look out 'cause here I come
And I'm marching on to the beat I drum.
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apologies, this is me
Whenever's the world's gone
Whenever's the world's gone
In the death of me
This is me

The crowd sat in silence for a moment before erupting in applause as Lacy strutted behind the stage so the performance could continue.
"Wow Lacy!"
"That was incredible!"
Lacy smiled and thanked her classmates for the compliments before changing back into her costume and preparing to go back on. In a whirlwind the performance was over and Lacy was off stage mingling with her fellow students when a voice interrupted her chatting.
"Excuse me, Miss Davis."
It wasn't a question but it made Lacy turn around all the same and was shocked to see Yoshio Ootori behind her.
"Mr. Ootori, I didn't see you standing there, my apologies."
Quickly she bowed as her friends took their cue to leave the pair to talk.
"I wanted to congratulate you on a successful performance."
Lacy popped up and smiled at him.
"Thank you so much."
"However."
He quickly interrupted her, making her pause and the smile on her face fading.
"I don't know what kind of relationship you have with Kyoya, however, I can not allow his future to be impared by someone with your less than favorable history. I hope you understand."
With that as his final word he turned and walked away leaving Lacy stunned for a moment before a voice interrupted her.
"Lacy!"
Shaking her head she turned and smiled at Haruhi.
"Hey!"
"You ok? You look distracted for someone that just had an amazing performance?"
Lacy shook her head and mentally composed herself.
"I'm fine, promise. Let's get ready to go home."
"Already?"
Haruhi asked unsure as Lacy spotted Kyoya looking for her as she turned back to Haruhi and nodded.
"Yeah, I'm really tired."
"If you say so."

So what did everyone think?
I'll see you all next chapter!
