Chapter 6: The Return of Ultraman Tiga Pt.3 (final) - Heroes Versus Spore Gazort!
Francoise Dupont Highschool, Paris, France
Late Afternoon, Approximately Four Hours After Initial Infestation
Ladybug could not believe how crazy her Tuesday had become, both good and bad alike. She not only was brainwashed into being an Akuma's minion, but found out that her partner, Cat Noir, was Adrien, the boy she had a crush on! And somehow he knew that she was Ladybug, and used his newly revealed love for her to help her break the spell Lady Thorn had over her. The both of them even had a new hero that they could both thank for this... and it was the Japanese tokusatsu icon and real life Ultraman Tiga himself.
Right now, they were behind Tiga as he just smashed and cut the way through the vines. Any knights and maidens they came across also proved no match for this ancient Ultra warrior and the Miraculous heroes as they simply dodged their attacks and punched their lights out.
Chat Noir smirked as he hit a classmate with his baton. "Bugaboo, did I ever tell you that you were a total knock out at this school?" Ladybug rolled her eyes at that. Who would have thought that Adrien was a real jokester?
The trio then approached the entrance to the courtyard, closed off by a vine-infested door. "This is it..." Ladybug said, "the courtyard..."
Chat Noir looked to Ladybug. He noticed that the Miraculous earrings on her still glowed a bright white-red. He looked down at his own Miraculous to see the bright-green shine still emitting from it. Whatever Tiga did earlier to expel the dark rose from Ladybug, it was somehow still lingering in the Miraculous. If anything he felt that strange warmth that somehow empowered him. "Hey Ladybug," Chat Noir pointed out, "your earrings are still glowing. How are you feeling?"
Ladybug touched her glowing earrings, and felt a comforting and empowering warmth stream from them down her spine. "I'm fine... actually more than that. I feel great. If anything..." Ladybug added as she touched her chest, "I feel warm and more powerful." She then pointed to Chat's ring. "The same with yours. Do you feel it?"
"Yeah," Chat Noir rubbed his ring with a smile, "I feel like all nine of my lives are on fire and livelier than ever!"
Ultraman Tiga turned around, and the two Miraculous heroes felt that warmth increase as he looked upon them.
"Tiga, this warmth we feel," Chat Noir asked, "is that your power? Whatever it was that you did with Marinette seemed to have affected me too." The Ultra simply nodded in response. Chat hummed as he contemplated this new power. "There's so much we don't know about you," he marveled, but then shook his head, "but all I know is that whatever you have... we'll need it to save Paris right now."
"Let's do it, Ultraman Tiga," Ladybug affirmed. With that Tiga approached the doors and gave them a mighty kick. Lady Thorn had gathered her praetorians, maidens, and knights around her when the double doors slammed open with a loud crash. Ultraman Tiga stepped forward first. "So... you are Ultraman Tiga."
"And don't forget about me and my lady!" Chat Noir stepped forward with a smirk, and the restored Ladybug beside him. Now that shook Lady Thorn and her followers. She was snarling not only did they constantly interfere, but with Ladybug no longer under her control.
"You removed my rose of love!?" Lady Thorn shrieked.
Chat Noir smirk cattishly. "Yep, and we had help here," he pointed a thumb towards Tiga. Ladybug stepped forward. "Fiorella la Chapelle, release that akuma and stop this. Whatever Hawkmoth is telling you about spreading love is a lie."
Chat Noir also spoke up, "love is not spread through vengeance, brainwashing, and conquest, but through mutual consent, understanding, and giving up yourself for those you care about! You know this, Fiorella! You can reject whatever lies Hawkmoth is feeding you!"
Lady Thorn felt a part of herself strain against Hawkmoth briefly, but that was suppressed as the holographic butterfly symbol appeared over her face.
"Hawkmoth!" Chat Noir grit his teeth.
"Foolish heroes," Hawkmoth's voice sounded, "you have interfered with my plans long enough, and now you will suffer in a jungle of despair!"
Lady Thorn's mind began to slip back into her villainous mode. "That's right... you will rue ever trying to-" She didn't finish as she was struck off her throne by Tiga's Hand Slash shot to everyone's shock. "Lady Thorn!" Alya screamed.
Ladybug looked on in shock as she saw Nino and Alya among Lady Thorn's followers. "Alya... Nino..." However, the knights and maidens shot forth, screaming in rage.
"Chat Tiga, watch out!" Ladybug spun her yoyo to try and repel the minions. Suddenly, the yoyo glowed white as it spun faster. To Chat and Ladybug's own surprise, a shield of light popped up. The spinning shield repelled several of the knights and maidens.
Recovering from his own surprise Chat Noir extended his baton and yelled as he smacked an attacking Nino with it. Batting him back, Chat swung the staff in a wide arc, hitting several more knights. As Ladybug and Chat defended, Tiga leapt into action as he punched and kicked down several of the brainwashed plant warriors. He then grabbed two of the large knights and hurled them back like bowling balls, knocking aside several more.
Alya fired off arrows at Tiga. "You hurt our queen of love!" Tiga was faster however as he leapt and rolled over the attack. He then scanned the roses on the maidens via his Ultra vision. He could see the dark fiery energies they gave off, along with the tethers of energies linking the maidens and knights. Before Tiga could communicate anything to Chat or Ladybug, several piled onto him.
"We got him!" Jean yelled out. "Help us hold him down!" Aurore yelled as she, Jean, Nathaniel, Juleka, Max, and Sabrina piled on. However, Tiga's aura shot out a powerful wave to get them off of him. Some went rolling back onto some of the vines, while others smacked their heads against pillars and tree trunks.
Meanwhile, Ladybug and Chat Noir faced off with Alya and Nino. The Miraculous duo grimaced and looked at each other in concern for their friends. They both knew that they would not want to hurt their BFFs, but they were blocking the way to Lady Thorn.
"Alya, Nino, stop this! This isn't the real you! That Akuma is messing with you both!" Ladybug tried to reason with them, but she knew this was going to be difficult. She could imagine what Chat Noir was thinking as well, being Adrien under the mask.
"No," Alya retorted, "she gave us the blossoming love for both of us!"
"Yeah dudette," Nino said, "we're too much in love to stop!"
"Hawkmoth is exploiting that love for evil," Chat Noir warned, "true love does not delight in evil and others' suffering!" He blocked a blow from Nino's armor before flip-kicking him back. "Nino, think about what you're doing! What would Adrien say if he saw you like this?!"
"Shut up! I serve Lady Thorn and my sweet Alya!" Nino then went to swing at Chat with his hammer arm. Chat Noir dodged as he leapt around like a cat. "Alya!" Ladybug spun her yoyo to deflect the arrows and darts. Then Alya grabbed her bow, and used it like a swinging weapon.
"Alya, you have to fight this... for yours and Nino's sake!" Ladybug begged as she ducked.
"Fight what?! I do not want to fight the blossoming love! Lady Thorn gave us everlasting love, growing stronger every minute! No one will stand in our way, Ladybug!" Alya then fired a charged arrow at the ground in front of Ladybug. The arrow exploded sending Ladybug flying and slamming against a wall. Alya laughed evilly as she walked up to Ladybug. "Now to take those earrings from you..."
"No!" Chat Noir yelled as he pounced on Alya. The two rolled as they collided, but Chat managed to get on top of her. "Sorry, but I have to trim your thorns now!" Learning from Tiga, he grabbed the rose and pulled. There were sparks and screams of pain from Alya as the rose resisted Chat, and even sent counterpulses to try and force him off. "Nngh!" Chat grunted as he felt sharp cold pangs of darkness, but as he felt that he was about to lose his grip, he felt that same warmth from Tiga's residual light earlier. Ladybug stood up, and saw a white light aura around Chat Noir as he actually overcame the rose's resistance and pulled the rose out of Alya's chest. Alya then convulsed on the ground in pain, screaming as she did so. Nino groaned out as he felt the darkness fade. As Alya's skin tone and clothes returned to normal, the bark armor rotted and disintegrated off of Nino. Both of them collapsed from exhaustion.
"Chat," Ladybug went over to help him up.
"I'm fine, Milady," Chat Noir breathed hard, but gave a quirky smile, "but thanks."
Alya and Nino groaned as Ladybug and Chat Noir brought them behind a pillar. "Ugh, my head," Alya said.
"So not cool dude," Nino groaned while holding his head. He looked up to Ladybug, Cat Noir and Ultraman Tiga. "Hey Ladydudette, Chat-dude," he pointed over to Tiga as he jumped and punched, "is that... Tiga?" Tiga zipped up to Sabrina, broke her tree bow, and ripped the corrupting rose out of her, causing her and Max to fall down and return to normal. The two recovered, and were surprised and confused to see the silver hero before them.
Alya looked up in awe. "It really is him..." Chat Noir grabbed Ladybug's hand. "Come on, let's go pick some roses!"
"I like the sound of that," Ladybug giggled as they jumped back into the fray with Tiga. Tiga kicked Nathaniel and Juleka to the side, where Ladybug wrapped them with in her yoyo while Chat slashed the rose off of Juleka. Juleka and Nathaniel screamed out before they returned to normal. They held their heads, feeling migraine from the reverse transformation.
Tiga blocked an attack from Jean and even grabbed him and threw him into Aurore. The two skidded in front of Ladybug before she reached for the rose. It gave some resistance, but Ladybug felt strength from the same light as she pulled it out and threw it away. In just two minutes, Tiga, Chat Noir, and Ladybug had removed all the corrupting roses. Several of the couples, current and prospective rubbed their heads as they returned to normal. Nino held Alya as he pointed to the Ultra hero. "Alya, that's really Ultraman Tiga."
"It really is!" Alya flipped out her phone as she was excited to see Tiga alongside Chat Noir and Ladybug.
Ladybug and Chat Noir smiled to see their classmates back to normal. Since the two actually knew each other now, they felt their teamwork improve. "We're stronger together, aren't we Ladybug?" Chat gave a knowing wink.
"That we are Cat Noir," Ladybug winked back. The others saw Ladybug and Chat Noir together with Tiga.
"Is that Tiga, the guy Alya was talking about?"
"He looks so strong... and he's with Ladybug and Chat Noir."
"They saved us!"
Lady Thorn then emerged from behind her throne with fury in her eyes. "HOW DARE YOU!"
Lady Thorn raised her hands as several glowing sacs were raised around the throne. Ladybug, Chat, and everyone gasped in horror as they saw several girls that were being drained via black roses. Chloe, Lila, Alix, and even Rose were among the victims as they had a desiccated appearance. "My goodness," Ladybug gasped in horror, "Fiorella stop this! Can't you see you're hurting them?!"
Lady Thorn huffed at Ladybug. "Hawkmoth gave me the power to enact vengeance upon all those who would destroy love!" She then raised some thorny vines to launch at the heroes.
The heroic trio backflipped as the vines hit the ground. "That is still not right," Ladybug said, "Hawkmoth is exploiting your hurt for evil!"
"No! He is helping spread the blossoming love! And I will help him spread it all over! BY FIRST TAKING YOUR MIRACULOUSES!" Lady Thorn raised her hands as she increased her power, a dark fire surrounding her. "PRAETORIANS!" Then a dozen or so more brainwashed people entered and assembled like soldiers. Chat and Ladybug saw that they were all the boys in the school who had no obvious love interests or crushes, including Kim. Tiga clenched his fists as dark auras intensified.
"Dude... this is nuts!" Nino shook his head. "This akuma makes all the previous ones look easy," Alya said with a shiver as she recorded.
"We need to free them too!" Cat Noir said as he batted away several deadly thorns.
"We can do that if we defeat Lady Thorn and get her akuma," Ladybug told Chat. She then asked Tiga, "can you hold off the praetorians while we handle Lady Thorn?" She got a flash of the eyes from Tiga, communicating his understanding to her. "I'll take that as a yes!"
"ATTACK!" Lady Thorn screeched as she summoned her deadliest plants. "For our Lady Thorn!" The male praetorians bellowed as they rushed Chat Noir and Ladybug, only for Tiga to step in between and start to block and punch it out with them. "Chat, let's get her!" Ladybug said. They then charged straight at Lady Thorn.
Marc tried to block the two Miraculous heroes, but Tiga intercepted him and threw him at the other praetorians. Tiga then went on to dodge sword swipes from Kim, his smooth and athletic frame lending to his agility.
Lady Thorn then grew black roses on her arm vines. "I will enjoy making you both suffer," she spat as she started to shoot the deadly roses at Ladybug and Chat. Ladybug spun her yoyo, forming the light shield again to block the roses.
Chat yelled as he swung his baton at Lady Thorn, who proved to be much quicker than she appeared. "Too slow!" Lady Thorn mocked as she swung an arm with thorns, punching Chat in the abs. Chat rolled back. He winced as he got back up. 'Good thing my suit is super durable.. that still hurt!'
Ladybug then rushed in to attack. She deflected some of the spiked vines as she rushed Lady Thorn, and the two started to dodge each others' punches. Lady Thorn then found an opening and used her vine whips to wrap around Ladybug. "Whoa!" Ladybug was hoisted in the air.
"Milady!" Chat Noir yelled as he came with claws flashing. He shredded the vines, releasing Ladybug. With a yell, he then rushed Lady Thorn. She put up a thick wall of vines to block Chat's claws. He tried to slash them as well, but they were thick, and regrew at a rapid pace.
Some Venus flytraps then rushed to chomp down on Chat. Ladybug saw this and swung her yoyo to whack them, but suddenly felt that rush of warmth when the yoyo was surrounded in white light that caused the flytraps to explode upon impact. 'That warmth and light again!' "Rrraaaahhh!" Chat growled as he also felt that swell of strength as he started to swing faster, his claws flashing with white streaks as he cut down more vines. Lady Thorn was confused as she saw Chat and Ladybug be enveloped in a white sheen. "What sorcery is this?!"
"I don't know myself," Chat Noir admitted with a grin, "but I feel as sharp as the claws on my fingers!"
"Drah!" Tiga fired his Spacium beam at Kim's bark swords, shattering them. Kim stumbled back before receiving a straight flying kick to the jaw from Tiga, slamming him onto the ground out cold.
"Surround him!" Marc told the other boys. The praetorians surrounded Tiga with their swords. Tiga looked around them with a resolute posture. He could commend them and Lady Thorn for their persistent, if flashy determination, but he still had the upper hand with plenty of energy to spare from the afternoon.
"Get him!" The praetorians rushed forward. Tiga then spin jumped into the air as he unleashed a circular volley of charged Hand Slash shots. The beam blasts hit all the praetorians, causing their armor to disintegrate as they fell back.
Lady Thorn then summoned Sundews to entrap Ladybug and Cat Noir. However, Tiga fired off his Hand Slicer to destroy the sundews. Adrien and Marinette's classmates cheered on the heroes as Tiga landed beside Ladybug and Chat.
"This is incredible," Alya gasped as she continued to stream the battle.
"Give it up, Lady Thorn," Ladybug urged, "we have a new ally here, and I prefer that he not have to hurt you to stop you."
She snarled, "NEVER!" She then summoned a gigantic Venus flytrap to attack them. The mutated flytrap roared as it grew from behind the throne and snapped at the three heroes as they evaded and continued their offensive.
With Hawkmoth and Noboru...
"It seems that our meddling kids and their new Ultra friend are putting up much more of a fight," Hawkmoth shook his head. He feared this new hero, Tiga joining forces with Ladybug and Chat Noir, and his power over the akuma was proving his worst fear true.
"True indeed," Noboru said as he watched the drone livestream with the other kings. Hawkmoth still could not believe that Tiga was still so powerful as to help Chat Noir and Ladybug last this long without them having to use their Miraculous powers. "Still this does confirm that my old friend has not lost his touch..."
Lady Thorn then sicced her plant monster on the three heroes. The three dodged before Tiga struck back with an uppercut. It was then that Ladybug used her Lucky Charm power. Noboru watched what Ladybug summoned. A red and black spotted item manifested onto Ladybug's hand and shoulder... it was a water sprayer.
Shogo, the Alien Raybeak mockingly chuckled. "Is that the best she can do!?"
Noboru also was amused, but he kept focused. "Darphia... I believe that it is time to introduce this world to our newest weapon."
"Of course," Darphia held up a remote. "Just waiting for you to give the word."
"Proceed," Noboru said with a gesture. With that Darphia pressed on the release. Another screen showed the tank for the Clitters opening up at the top.
"Desimo? Do your part." Noboru prompted the Alien Desimo of the group. "I have a name you know... it is Hestus," the Alien Desimo retorted as he sent commands to a guidance drone he had for the Clitters.
Hawkmoth saw the Clitters stream out of the tank, following the lead of a drone that Hestus was controlling. As the Clitters flew, they sparked with dark energy and electricity, with the akumatized object containing his fire akuma floating alongside them. Soon, these seemingly harmless critters would turn into a much greater creature that would be key to obtaining the Miraculouses and getting Tiga disposed of.
Back at the school...
"A watering spray can? Rather counter-intuitive, isn't it?" Chat Noir asked as he fended off attacks directed towards Ladybug. His smirk however showed that he had faith in his girl that she would come up with something.
Ladybug employed her Lady Vision as her super brain went to work. Strangely, she saw that once again, Tiga was the answer. However, it seemed redundant as Tiga had Lady Thorn steadily forced onto the defensive. The other students were awed at Tiga's speed and power. He jumped up out of the way of Lady Thorn's black rose darts and brought his foot down for an aerial kick. Lady Thorn gathered large flowers above her, but was knocked back as Tiga explosively smashed through.
Seeing Lady Thorn distracted, Ladybug just shook her head and put her Lucky Charm aside. "Chat, you and Tiga wear her down enough for me to catch her."
"You got it, Milady!" Chat jumped into the action with Tiga, clawing his way past the mutated plants. He grinned as he still felt that warmth from the Miraculous reacting to the Ultraman. "I'm about to de-claw this mean weed!" Then Ultraman went in and dodged the giant flytrap's bite attacks as he tried to reach for Lady Thorn.
The female plant akuma started to get really irritated. Not only that, for whatever reason, she was also beginning to tire out. All she wanted was to spread the love around, and Chat Noir and Ladybug were ruining it all with their new ally, Tiga.
Then Cat Noir decided to use his special power on the gigantic flytrap monster.. "Cataclysm!" With a hand charged with destructive energy, Chat slammed his claws into the creature. The proxy creature roared as it began to writhe and wither as it did, it affected the surrounding plants and vines, including the throne and sacs holding the female hostages.
Lady Thorn looked up and screeched, "NO! My giant flytrap! My beautiful throne!" Tiga then broke through her defenses and delivered a blow to her midriff, sending her into a wall. Lady Thorn groaned in pain as she slid down to the ground, dazed from the blow as Tiga, Chat, and Ladybug surrounded her. Ladybug then walked up to reach for Lady Thorn's akumatized flower when a booming thunder sounded through the air.
Alya, Nino, and the other liberated students looked up as a dark shadow formed over the school. An ominous-looking cloud with lightning had appeared. "What's happening?!"
Alya pointed her phone up, but she felt enough apprehension to hold Nino's hand. Aurore also held onto Jean, while Juleka went up to Nathaniel and found herself doing the same. Chat and Tiga stared up at the cloud. The black cat hero looked to the Ultra hero, who clenched his fist. 'Does he know what that is?' However, a horrible shriek of pain broke his thoughts.
Ladybug was caught off guard when Lady Thorn started to scream and cry. "What's wrong?!" Lady Thorn did not answer as she felt like her insides were on fire as she felt the akuma slipping from her. She let out a burst of dark flames as the akuma was drawn out of her flower. As it left her completely, Fiorella de-transformed and fell to the ground in a heap.
"Fiorella!" Chat let out his inner Adrien in his worry.
Ladybug tried to catch the fire akuma with her yoyo, but it quickly dodged and went up towards the sky. Ladybug hissed as she missed the akuma, but went to check on Fiorella. Chat Noir came up next to Ladybug as they both held and cradled the poor florist girl, who was sweating and exhausted. "Fiorella, is she?" Chat Noir asked.
"She's ok," Ladybug assured as she felt her pulse, "that Akuma took a lot out of her though."
Tiga looked up as the fire akuma zoomed into the cloud and disappeared. As it did, there was a malevolent fiery explosion of energy as the lightning and fire intensified.
Alya then saw a shadowy form in the clouds. "There's something in there!" True enough, it began to emerge from the dark cloud cover.
Ladybug and Chat Noir watched as a giant tadpole-like monster began to emerge from the clouds. The both of them went wide-eyed as it showed its face, with yellow eyes and sharp teeth arranged in a disturbing grin-like way. Its arms flapped as its sickly green and pale white form descended.
"A... giant monster?" Alya gasped.
"Milady..." Chat Noir muttered. "T-that m-monster is huge," Ladybug understated as some of the scared inner Marinette showed in her voice. "Alya..." Nino shivered at the sight of the monster. The student body stared up in shock at the sight of the monster as it landed with a loud thud outside the school. It then roared a screeching squeal. Tiga recognized the creature... it was a green and pale Gazort.
Gazort then walked up close to the school with heavy footsteps, and it was clear that the creature was tall enough to tower over the walls. One of the girls screamed at the sight of Gazort. It was enough to make the rest of the conscious student body scream and start running for their lives. Gazort looked down menacingly at Ladybug and Chat Noir.
"Um, maybe it's friendly?" Cat Noir said. Chat would soon be disappointed as a flaming butterfly emblem appeared over it's face. "Spore Gazort, take the Miraculouses of the Ladybug and the Black Cat!" The Kaiju did as it was commanded, by charging forward with a roar. It smashed the siding of the school sending debris down on the students and teachers inside.
Sabrina happened to be in the way of a shower of debris as she was frozen in fear and shock. "Look out!" Max suddenly jumped over her and pushed her to the ground as debris showered around them. "Gah!" Max was struck in the back of the head with a piece of broken brick. Sabrina felt Max on top of her and looked up to see that he had a bleeding head from being struck. "Max!?" Sabrina tried to help Max up, but he was dazed and badly hit, and she did not have the strength to carry him.
"Chat!" Ladybug wanted to move Fiorella to safety, but her worries for the other people in the school distracted her. Chat Noir stood in front of the two girls as he anxiously held up his staff against the advancing monster. "Hawkmoth had to summon a monster!?" Suddenly Tiga rushed in front of the Miraculous heroes. He flexed out his right hand, and in a flash of light he manifested a wand. Chat's eyes widened under the mask to see the device Nino called the Sparklence. "The Sparklence..." Chat muttered. Tiga then raised his Sparklence and flashed it. Chat Noir and Ladybug had to shield their eyes from the brilliance. Everyone else also fell to the ground as an intense Ultra light bathed the school. Spore Gazort squealed loudly as it was blinded. In the midst of the brilliance, a giant form of light emerged and delivered an uppercut which sent the monster falling back.
TVi News Station
"What is that?" Nadja Chamack was covering the plant infestation and appearance of a giant monster when the TV camera was blinded by a white light from the Francoise Dupont High School. The cameraman in the helicopter overhead somehow managed to keep the camera trained. "Wait... it appears that the monster was just knocked back by something." Nadja squinted her eyes. "It's still difficult to see. Cameraman, can you adjust... no wait. Something is emerging from the light." Nadja did not have to wonder long as the light faded.
"Ummm... viewers," Nadja muttered as she struggled to speak again, "please don't be bemused... or shocked! I-I cannot believe what I'm seeing myself!" Nadja was seeing Tiga in his true, giant form.
Master Fu's Home
Master Fu sat staring at the TV. He was staring in shock as he saw Ultraman Tiga rising to his full size. "No... it can't be... it can't be him."
Wayzz also floated up with a nostalgic smile on his face. "Ultraman! It is true! He has returned!"
Hawkmoth and Noboru also saw Ultraman Tiga in his glory.
"Ah... hello old friend," Noboru had a mocking smile on his face.
Hawkmoth was in shock, seeing as how Tiga was a giant. "That... is Tiga." Hawkmoth realized that Noboru was not kidding when he described Tiga as a giant of light, literally.
Dupain-Cheng Bakery
Tom and Sabine were worriedly watching the coverage of the akuma attack when they saw Ultraman Tiga appear. "That is Ultraman Tiga!" Sabine gasped, "it really is him!"
"Your childhood hero?" Tom asked his wife, still glued to the screen.
"Yes!" Sabine glanced back and forth between Tom and the screen. She heard of the silver hero from the park on Saturday, but she didn't think that it was one of the Japanese action heroes that she secretly admired back from her childhood. "I can't believe he's real!" Sabine clasped her hands together hopefully. "Oh Tiga... please save our daughter!"

Chat Noir and Ladybug squinted their eyes at the bright flash of light from Tiga and his Sparklence. As it faded, they realized that they were both still alive. Chat Noir lowered his hand, and found himself staring at two giant silver feet. He slowly looked up the backside of a giant figure. It then registered in his mind that he was staring up at Ultraman Tiga... as a giant. "Is that... Tiga?" Chat Noir muttered in awe.
Ladybug also looked up with shock in her blue eyes. "He's... a giant of light?"
Nino groaned as he looked up from holding Alya on the ground. He knew from watching Ultraman Tiga that Tiga was supposed to be massive, but seeing him this close up was quite an experience. Alya herself seemed to be both happy and excited to still be alive and to see Tiga in his full form.
"That's Ultraman Tiga," Nino gasped.
Tiga then stepped forward through the breach in the school walls as Spore Gazort got back on its feet. It's jaw dropped open to see the Ultraman in his full size and brilliance. His every footstep boomed through the city block as his aura shone brightly with his power and light. Tiga then flexed into a battle pose before charging. "Drah!" He punched the akuma kaiju hard to drive it away from the school. Spore Gazort stumbled back before running at Tiga again with a flipper swipe. The Ultra ducked and kicked the Clitter mutant in the gut, sending it flying back.
Ladybug and Chat felt the ground shake as Spore Gazort hit the ground. Ladybug looked to her partner. "Chat... our kwamis never said anything about Tiga being a giant!"
Alya stood up slowly as Nino helped her. "That's his true form," Alya continued.
"No kidding, Alya," Nino muttered, "he's even more incredible at that size!"
Ladybug looked to Alya, then she remembered that she would have watched the series about this particular Ultraman. It was then that she remembered, "oh no, Chloe!" She then jumped up and went to find her. Ladybug leapt over the wilted remains of the plant throne to where the sacs would have been, while Chat Noir went to the former praetorians, one of which was actually Mr. Damocles himself. "Mr. Damocles, are you okay?" Noir asked.
"Yeah. I think so." Mr. Damocles shook his head. "I can't believe this happened." The principal looked distressed at the state of the school. There were weeds and mutant plants everywhere, and a major side of the school had been torn down from Spore Gazort's 'visit' before Tiga drove it off.
"We can worry about that later sir," Chat reminded, "there are still a lot of people needing help here."
Ladybug used her super strength to dig and rip through the plant debris. She found the girls and women alive in the wilted out sacs. All these girls were drained, but Chloe especially seemed to be in the worst shape. The wicked black rose darts were still pulsing on their chests. Ladybug grimaced... she still was angry at Chloe, but this was cruel torture. "Chat, help me over here!"
Chat Noir rushed over to help them out of the sacs. "Wow... this whole ordeal has really been draining on them! No pun intended by the way..." He and Ladybug managed to lay them flat on clear parts of the ground. Miss Bustier had also been rescued, and she was remarkably still conscious as Chat Noir carried her over. "Take it easy. You are all drained a lot."
"Ugh!" Miss Bustier collapsed when she tried to sit up. "W-what happened? A... and what's this black rose... in my chest?" The teacher looked down at the rose dart in her chest.
"Easy madame," Ladybug said, "I'll get it out of you." She reached for the evil rose and plucked it out. Miss Bustier still felt tired, but it was now better wtihout the infernal plant sucking the life out of her.
Nathaniel and Juleka made their way over to Rose. "Rose, are you okay!?" Juleka asked.
Rose moaned, still in a little pain. "Uh, not really."
Nathaniel saw the black rose on her chest. "Let me help-ow!" He yelped as one of the thorns pricked him.
Cat Noir then approached. "Allow me." Fortunately, the Miraculous suit protected him, so he ripped off the rose with no issue. Rose coughed as some color returned, but she still felt rather limp as Juleka and Nathaniel carried her.
As Chat helped Kim set Alix down, Ladybug brought Chloe over bridal style. Chat's eyes widened as he saw that Chloe had not only been drained... but there were bruises and cuts all over her body, and her clothing was in tatters in many areas showing off the bleeding wounds. He then rushed over to both girls. "Milady, is she?"
"Alive, but in really bad shape," Ladybug looked to Chat with empathy. They laid her down gently on a blanket that the others had laid out for the victims.
Fiorella then began to stir... She woke up to see Miss Bustier smiling. "Fiorella, glad that you're awake."
"Get away from me!" Fiorella screamed as she stumbled over and cowered behind a pillar. Then Ladybug and Cat Noir went to her.
"Fiorella..." Ladybug held out her hand. "N-no!" Fiorella tried to walk back, but stumbled from her weak legs. She was ultimately resigned to crying on the ground. "I-I'm dangerous!" Chat and Ladybug looked to each other in shock and sadness. Fiorella actually remembered her time as an akuma? "I'm a monster!" Fiorella screamed, "I enslaved the entire school and turned the whole of downtown into a green freak show! I let Hawkmoth take my akuma to create a monster!"
"No! None of that is your fault!" Chat let his inner Adrien take over to talk. However, the Miraculous duo saw the horror in Fiorella's eyes as she curled up and rocked herself sobbing.
Chat almost wanted to cry himself as he clenched his fists. He had to turn away, afraid of exposing himself. Ladybug understood what he was going through, and touched her love's shoulder. "Oh Adrien," she whispered, "I'm sorry."
A loud boom then interrupted the moment, as some students and teachers fell on the ground in surprise.
Miss Bustier then came up to Fiorella and told Chat and Ladybug, "I'll take care of her. You two go and stop that creature." They both nodded, with Cat Noir placing a hand on Fiorella's shoulder for support. "Miss Bustier will keep you safe..."
With that Chat Noir and Ladybug ran up to Alya and Nino as they and the rest of the student body watched Tiga battle with Spore Gazort. "Goodness gracious, what is that silver giant!?" Mr. Damocles exclaimed.
"That's Ultraman Tiga," Ladybug said, "our newest ally."
"And a really BIG one at that," Chat added with a chuckle as he took in how tall Tiga was as he punched the kaiju in the face. The kaiju retaliated as it sprayed several energy balls from its mouth, striking Tiga in the chest. He visibly flinched and stumbled back, though Tiga was well protected by his chest armor. Tiga just shrugged off the burns as he charged again. The two old enemies wrestled as Tiga held Spore Gazort's teeth back. Spore Gazort placed its flippers around Tiga's shoulders as it tried to take a bite.
The mighty Ultra warrior responded with a headbutt before the monster could sink its teeth. Tiga backflip-kicked Spore Gazort with enough force to send the creature flying onto its back. Tiga pursued Gazort to continue the attack.
Suddenly Gazort's eyes turned green with the Hawkmoth symbol over its mug as it waved its flippers. Tiga hit a wall of vines that the creature summoned.
"Oh you've got to be kidding!" Kim yelled as he saw the battle take a twist.
"Great... you're telling me that monster can summon vines like Lady Thorn!?" Nathaniel too was dismayed.
"The akuma..." Ladybug realized as she watched more giant vines and plants arise around Spore Gazort, "Lady Thorn's akuma must be giving the monster its plant powers!"
Tiga clenched his fists as he recuperated from his failed attempt. He knew the akuma was enhancing the Gazort, and that he had to destroy the akuma to weaken it somehow. However, Tiga was not given time as had to roll out of the way of some sharp and thorny giant vines. Spore Gazort caused giant mega trees to burst out of buildings to supply itself with more monster foliage and energy from the soil to up the ante on the Ultraman.
"That is so unfair!" Alya yelled as she watched Tiga put on the defensive.
Chat Noir and Ladybug looked to one another. "Milady, I don't know what help we can be... but I'd say that we give him a hand!"
Ladybug gave a determined smile. "I agree kitty, we can't just be sitting on the sidelines! Paris still needs us!" She hi-fived Chat Noir.
"Let's pound it," they both chanted as they leapt off towards the battle.
"Go Ladybug and Chat Noir!" The students and teachers of Francoise Dupont chanted as the two Miraculous heroes sped away. Alya was grinning as she took her phone out again to livestream.
Ladybug and Chat Noir jumped from rooftop to rooftop, trying not to think of all the vines crawling all over the buildings, on top of several smashed buildings from Tiga fighting Spore Gazort. As they landed on a safe spot, they saw Spore Gazort opened its mouth and release spore-like energy balls that floated towards Tiga, surrounding him. The Ultra just so happened to have the misfortune of touching one, causing an explosion that set off a chain reaction that blew him to the ground.
"This is nuts..." Chat said, "Marinette, I hope you have an idea about how to bring down this oversized tadpole with a green thumb!"
"Adrien- I mean, Chat," Ladybug stumbled over herself a bit. She still was processing Chat's true identity. "This is not like anything we've handled before... I mean, giants of light and monsters?"
"Hey, with that brilliant brain of yours, we've gotten out of many tight spots." Chat then got Ladybug to look at him again with a hand to her cheek. "Besides... not to make light of our situation, but you have a way of shining in crisis," he cheekily complimented with his puns. Ladybug giggled, finally agreeing to a pun.
"Speaking of light... your Miraculous," Ladybug pointed to Chat's shining ring before she realized something. "Chat, you used your Cataclysm, but your Miraculous is not counting down!"
"Really?!" Chat examined his ring, which was still shining with brilliance and not fading.
Chat then pointed to the Lucky Charm on Ladybug's back. "Your Lucky Charm is also doing it!"
Ladybug glanced back to the Lucky Charm water sprayer on her back, and true enough, it was also enveloped in light, like her Miraculous earrings. "It's like... Ultraman is giving us more power for our Miraculouses," Ladybug realized. She then focused her Miraculous Lady Vision. She saw Tiga in polka dots again, and when she looked to Chat Noir, he also appeared in dots with his Miraculous ring.
"Kitty... whatever my Miraculous is telling me... I need both you and Tiga to stop that monster," Ladybug clutched the spray with a determined expression.
Spore Gazort intensified its attacks as it shot out more energy spores and giant vines to try and ensnare Tiga. He spin-jumped into the air and fired his Hand Slicer, destroying several giant trees, only to be struck in the arm by some sharp vines. Tiga flinched from the sharpness of thorns on the giant vines, only to have more wrap around his other arm and fling him hard onto the ground. Tiga got back up, but several vines shot at his feet and tripped him up.
"Chat, do what you do best... claw your way through!" Ladybug prompted.
"You can count on me Milady!" Ladybug and Chat Noir sprung into action. As more vines moved to tie Tiga up, Ladybug yelled as she spun her yoyo and used some of the light in the string to slice through the spiky foliage. Chat dropped down to street level and clawed through the vines holding Tiga's feet. "Tiga, get back up," Chat yelled, "we've got the vines!" With that, the giant of light stood up as Ladybug and Chat Noir landed in front of him brandishing their weapons.
"So what next, Milady?" Chat grinned. "Next," she brandished her water spray, "you still have some of that light, right?"
Chat grinned, "need to ask?" He held up his light ring on his finger.
"Then care to give me a boost?" Ladybug suggested with a cute smile and tap on her Lucky Charm, "I have a feeling that we could give these weeds a real watering."
"It would be my pleasure." Chat took Ladybug's right hand holding the spray, and looked back up at Ultraman Tiga. "Hey Tiga, we'll be clearing a path for you! Go get that oversized tadpole!" Tiga replied with a nod of acknowledgement.
The Miraculous duo leaned in to whisper to one another.
"Marinette," Chat whispered.
"Adrien," Ladybug replied.
"Together."
Insert Song - Inheritance of the Light (Part 3) aka Tiga's Battle Theme
Chat Noir and Ladybug leapt onto the roofs as Tiga resumed his attack on Spore Gazort. Spore Gazort squealed as it shot more energy spores. Tiga just rolled and dodged as the spores missed or hit the buildings around him. The akuma kaiju then jumped into the air out of the way of Tiga's grab attempt and summoned some Venus flytraps to bite Tiga.
"Oh no you don't!" Chat yelled as he held onto the spray nozzle. Ladybug stood behind him with the water tank. "Now, Chat!" Ladybug urged. As Chat pressed the lever, he felt a rush of his own power mixing with the warmth of Ultra light going through his hand into the Lucky Charm. A high-speed jet of water mixed with Cataclysmic power and Ultra light shot forth, blasting and slicing through the flytraps. Spore Gazort seemed surprised and confused at the Miraculous duo's counterattack, which Tiga took advantage of as he grabbed and threw it across several blocks into the central park in front of the Effiel Tower. Tiga and the Miraculous duo landed in the park as the kaiju recovered and shot more vine whips.
Tiga dodged, but backed up into a super tree whose branches grabbed him by the chest. Several spear vines were summoned by the kaiju to impale Tiga. Thankfully, Ladybug and Chat shot more cataclysmic water jets at the sharp foliage, disintegrating them. Seeing his chance the trapped Ultra flashed his head crystal red, turning his body red for his Power Type. With his heightened strength he pulled free of the tree with the branches ripping off.
The students back at Francoise Dupont watched the battle unfold. "Alya," Nathaniel wondered, "what did Tiga just do!?"
"He just turned into a power type! He's slower, but he can now rip through those things a whole lot easier," Alya cheered.
"Hey, dudes and dudettes," Nino pointed, "look at Chat Noir and Ladybug!" They all watched as the two unleashed a stronger jet from a Lucky Charm bathed in white light. The jet of water shone brightly with hints of green particles akin to a laser as it impacted the wiry weeds between Tiga and Spore Gazort. It cut through the vines, while also disintegrating the rest.
"Totally rad!" Nino cheered on the Miraculous duo.
Spore Gazort grew annoyed and turned its attention to the Miraculous duo on the ground. Ladybug and Chat Noir leapt out of the way as the massive flipper smashed into the ground. Tiga then fired off a Hand Slash, stunning Gazort in the chest before rushing up and delivering a thunderous uppercut.
Fourteen Dark Kings' Base
Hawkmoth and Noboru watched the display with different emotions. Noboru was smiling to see Tiga at his full power fighting alongside Ladybug and Chat Noir. Hawkmoth meanwhile just shook his head in restrained dismay. "Great, now Ultraman Tiga has joined forces with my enemies."
"It is to be expected. As such, we all knew it would come down to this." Noboru, despite his shaking his head, did not seem overly troubled by this. If anything, he looked rather studious and amused with the battle.
"Chat, there are still people around here," Ladybug exclaimed as she saw people trying to run out of the park away from Tiga and Spore Gazort. The tadpole-like mutant spotted the screaming people and reached for them with its jaw, only for Tiga to push it back. However, because of Tiga's concern for the people, some of the mutant plants and trees managed to hit some of his blind spots. "We've got to get them out of here or Tiga won't be able to fight back."
"Then let's do it," Chat resolved as he handed the nozzle back to Ladybug and brandished his claws. Ladybug and Cat Noir then ran to help the citizens evacuate from the fight. Chat slashed away at any stray vines and weeds while Ladybug spun her yoyo to shield the citizens as she ushered them away.
"Come on, this way!" Ladybug gestured as she led the citizens away from the titanic brawl. "We'll cut a path for you!" Chat Noir said as he sliced through some of the smaller monster weeds and plants still around.
Most moved fast, but some others walked slower as they watched the red and silver giant Ultraman Tiga give the plant-based tadpole monster a beating, ripping off some of the vines Sport Gazort used to fend him off.
"Oh... my legs," old Marianne tried to hurry along, but she felt herself cramping up in the legs. "Madame Lenoir!" Ladybug ran over to help Marianne. As Spore Gazort unleashed some energy balls that Tiga deflected, the monster saw Ladybug try to help the old woman. Seeing an opportunity to please its two masters, the akuma kaiju then reached down with its maw.
"Ladybug, Madame!" Chat Noir tried to get the two out of the way, but Spore Gazort was too fast.
Ladybug's eyes widened and she tried to shield herself and Marianne with her yoyo. Just as Spore Gazort was about to bite down, Tiga leapt down and stuck his arm out. He grunted loudly in pain as he took the bite for Ladybug and Marianne.
"Bugaboo!" Chat helped both his love and the old woman to their feet. Both Ladybug and Marianne glanced up to see Tiga in pain as he held his arm out into Sport Gazort's mouth.
"H-he shielded us?" Marianne asked.
Tiga tried to force Gazort away, but then his color timer began to flash red. "Hey, that light on his chest is flashing again," Chat Noir realized. "What could it mean?"
"Don't worry, we got you," Ladybug assured Marianne as she and Chat Noir helped her to safety. Tiga struggled against Spore Gazort as he tried to overpower his bite. He forced Gazort back just enough to stand and raise his left fist, but the monster summoned a giant flytrap to bite down. "Urgh!"
"Thank you," Marianne expressed to the Miraculous heroes as she sat down. "Madame Lenoir," Ladybug insisted, "we have to get you help.""I will be fine," Marianne told her with a gentle smile, "you two should go and help your new giant friend up there."
Chat Noir saw Tiga struggling against the monster. Marianne was right. "We should go and help," he told his partner, "we still have a battle to win."
"And might I say," Marianne added, "you two dearies are working together better than before."
"W... we are?" Ladybug asked, though part of her knew what Marianne was getting at. She shook her head at the thought, then rushed in with Cat Noir to help Tiga. The two noticed Tiga seeming to weaken as the red light blinked faster.
"That doesn't look good!" Cat Noir exclaimed. Furthermore, it seemed that where Spore Gazort was biting down, light was beginning to bleed out of Tiga's skin.
"He can bleed," Ladybug muttered. Seeing that brought home the realization that Tiga was a living being. Suddenly, there was a roaring sound of jet engines overhead. The two heroes looked up to see that it was the French Air Force; they had scrambled four fighter jets."Is that the French Air Force?!" Ladybug had not expected a military response.
The delta-winged fighter jets released guided bombs. The bombs slammed into the kaiju, giant plants, and Tiga alike. The Miraculous duo then felt a rumbling of the ground behind them. They turned to see a squad of tanks rolling up behind them. The tank turrets rotated the cannons upward, and fired on both Ultra and monster. While the volley of tank shells blew up some of the plants around Tiga and forced Spore Gazort to release him, Tiga still took fire as the tanks and fighters rained down ordnance on both. One of the penetration bombs hit Tiga in the side of his head and exploded, causing him to flinch with a hand covering the spot. His Ultra armor could take the punishment, but his draining energy reserves meant that he was becoming less resilient against the conventional ordinance.
"What are those tanks and planes doing!?" Ladybug exclaimed.
"Those idiots!" Chat yelled as the French military attacked, "don't they know Tiga is on our side!?"
Ladybug ran up to one of the tanks, wincing from the loud booms of the cannons. "Hey!" She waved her hands vigorously, hoping to get their attention. "Stop shooting at the silver giant," Ladybug shouted over the cannon fire, "he's on our side. Stop!" She could then see a camera on the top machinegun turret look down at her. The lead tank's hatch opened to reveal the tank commander.
"What was that," the tank commander yelled.
"Stop shooting at the giant," Ladybug yelled back, "the giant, Tiga, is not our enemy!" Ladybug pointed out, "he was helping us save people and protected us from being eaten!"
"Missy, I know who you are, but we have our orders to stop these two aliens from destroying the city," the tank leader replied, "as far as we know, they are both problems that a few tank rounds should take care of!"
Ladybug grit her teeth at the military man's stubbornness. "Call off your men and those jets, or so help me, we will still have to deal with the akuma monster without his help!"
"Sorry Ladybug, but we have our orders," the tank commander shook his head, "now get out of the way!"
"Look out!" Chat called out as an energy ball was shot their way. There was no time for the heroes or the tank platoon to dodge...
Tiga leapt in front of the tanks to take the shot to his chest armor. "Urgh!" Tiga grunted as he absorbed the shot. Everyone lowered their arms to see that Tiga had taken yet another blow to shield the humans.
"Tiga!" Ladybug yelled out. Tiga looked up to the humans as he laid on the ground. He nodded weakly before collapsing again. The tank commander blinked for a bit, but seeing that the tadpole monster was the one attacking, he recomposed himself. "Focus fire on the giant tadpole! Air support, drop your bombs on the tadpole.
The platoon then opened fire on the kaiju. Spore Gazort squealed angrily at the human tanks, but two more bombs from the planes above distracted it. Spore Gazort fired some energy spheres up at the Rafale fighters, scattering them.
"Ladybug!" Alya was running up with Nino behind her.
"Ayla?! What are you and Nino doing!?" Ladybug was bewildered, yet not surprised at the same time to see Alya risking her life in a warzone with her cell phone.
"We're a little busy with our unexpected reinforcements," Chat shouted over the tank fire. He had to cover his sensitive cat ears from the booming cannons.
"We have to cheer Tiga on," Alya gasped out of breath, "he's not going to last much longer!" "What are you talking about!?" Ladybug asked, letting some of her inner Marinette out. Alya pointed to Tiga as he tried to get back on his feet, heaving and huffing as the light on his chest continued to blink. However, his body did not seem to respond as he collapsed back down. "That big guy is about to run out of energy to fight," Alya pointed out, "if that happens, we are all in trouble!"
"That dude is not going to last much longer without some serious help and encouragement, Cat-dude and Ladydudette," Nino added, "you have to help him finish this battle sooner!" Alya then cupped her hands and yelled out. "Ultraman Tiga!" Tiga then heard and turned to Alya. "Don't give up! Kick that monster's butt. The others back at school are counting on you!"
"Yeah, dude!" Nino yelled, "many of our friends are sick! Get the akuma for Ladybug! You got this!" Alya then turned to the tank platoon soldiers. "Cheer him on guys! He needs the encouragement." They looked confused at first, but shrugged and cheered him on.
"Hey big guy, if you are a hero, give that oversized tadpole a whooping!" "Smack him down for us!"
Ladybug looked to her partner, who just gave a smile and a nod. She then cupped her hands and shouted, "get up, Tiga! You have to help me and my kitten win this!"
"Come on, Tiga!" Chat joined in, "show that tadpole plant mutation what you are really made of! You helped me save Ladybug and the school, now save our city!"
"Tiga, Tiga, Tiga, Tiga!" Alya and Nino chanted, causing everyone else to join in. The chant seemed to reach the giant of light's ears, because he started to stir back into moving. With a grunt, Tiga started to stand again, feeling a renewed energy in his being despite the color timer's blinking.
Ladybug and Chat Noir saw Tiga moving, and gave a combined shout of, "Ultra Miraculous!" It helped Tiga finally stand back up and resolve to finish this fight.
"Pound him, Tiga!" Chat Noir cried out. Tiga crossed his arms over his face and flexed as his colors changed back to Sky Type.

"Drah!" Tiga flexed out his fists again as Chat Noir, Ladybug, Alya, and Nino cheered.
Spore Gazort then emitted a dark fiery aura coupled with Hawkmoth's emblem as it unleashed a volley of spiked vines and electrically charged spores. Tiga this time zipped upwards to dodge the attacks and slammed his foot into the ground, sending the kaiju backwards. However Gazort was quick to summon more mutant plants to attack Tiga.
"Come on Chat, we still got enough water and juice in this thing to fight," Ladybug told him as she pointed to the water tank on her back. "Right on," Chat grinned, "can't let him hog all the spot-LIGHT!" The Miraculous teens grinned as they charged back into the fray. Tiga deflected and outmaneuvered several of the mutant plants and Spore Gazort's energy attacks, but it was clear that the vine infestation was still quite severe.
"Chat, let it rip!" Ladybug handed him the spray nozzle. "Cataclysmic weeding, coming up," Chat Noir yelled as he fired off another high powered jet of water. The vines then started to wither from the attack. Spore Gazort seemed confused as it lost more foliage to the Cataclysmic water jet, before Tiga got close and delivered a rapid-fire smackdown. His fists were a blur as he delivered punch after punch at the speed of a machinegun. He then delivered a charged punch to its maw, sending it stumbling back.
"Keep it up, Chat!" Ladybug urged as more plants withered and died under their assault. Spore Gazort got back up, only to see the rest of the mutant plants withering up and dying. The akuma kaiju squealed as it sparked and lifted off into the sky. Ladybug and Chat Noir felt a wind kick up as Tiga used his power to manipulate the gravity around him, before blasting off, sending Alya and Nino tumbling a bit. The Miraculous teens covered their faces from the dust kicked up by the take off, looking up to see Tiga chasing after Spore Gazort in the sky. "Go get him, Tiga," Chat and Ladybug both muttered as they returned to spraying the mutant foliage dead.
All of Paris watched as the titanic battle shifted to the skies above as Tiga and Spore Gazort soared at high speeds, appearing as purple and green streaks.

Nadja was stunned as she continued to try and report on the titanic struggle downtown, which had gone airborne. "It appears that the giant itself has taken to chasing after the monster in flight," Nadja continued to report on the live scene, "the giant's travelling at incredible speed as he's chasing the monster out. Wait... hold on," Nadja took a closer look at her screen as she saw the two giants maneuvering around the Paris skies as they exchanged energy fire. "They are not leaving, but are still fighting in the skies above." The whole skirmish then turned into an intense dogfight as Tiga and Spore Gazort became high speed streaks of purple-blue and green lights shooting at each other. The cameraman in the helicopter had to zoom out as it was difficult to track either combatant at high speed close up.
"F-folks if you are still watching this, the giant and the monster are both exchanging heavy fire at high speeds. Wait... our camera man is trying to keep up... it looks like the both of them are going supersonic!" True enough, there were vapor trails as Tiga and Spore Gazort broke sound barriers. The Rafale fighter jets apparently tried to keep up, but failed as Ultra and akuma kaiju easily exceeded their flight speeds.
Hawkmoth's Lair
Natalie was inside the lair, tasked with watching over Emilie and Hawkmoth's belongings while he was with his allies. Yet she could not take her eyes off the phone from the livefeed that Alya Cesaire was transmitting from her phone of the battle in the sky. "Incredible." She whispered in awe. It was true that Tiga was considered to be Hawkmoth's adversary, but his going out of his way to minimize harm to people despite his giant size and power was noteworthy.
Spore Gazort shot several energy balls at Tiga, who had superior agility on his side as he streaked across the air like a flashing meteor. Tiga also had superior speed as his fist collided with the monster's face upon catching up. There was a such thunderous boom from Tiga striking Spore Gazort, that Natalie heard it through the walls, feeling the place shake. She nearly lost balance, but managed to stand.
"Oh Emilie... it really is him..." Natalie muttered to no one in particular, "sad that he and Gabriel are enemies."
"Cha!" Tiga brought his energized foot down on top of Spore Gazort's head, sending the monster crashing down onto the Champs-Elysees in front of the Arc of Triomphe. Several of the onlookers managed to scramble clear of the sliding monster. Ultraman Tiga landed and waited until the Kaiju attempted to get back up. Spore Gazort then tried to manipulate more of the mutant foliage around the area, only for it to be splashed and withered down by Chat Noir and Ladybug as they jumped in.
"Sorry, tadpole," Chat taunted, "but you're about to get weeded!"
"Ultraman, now," Ladybug shouted, "finish it off!"
Tiga crossed his hands over his blinking color timer with a flash. He flexed out his right arm to unleash his Freezer attack over Spore Gazort before it could recover. As the hyper-chilly ice cloud exploded over the kaiju, it began to freeze with a loud crackle of ice. Spore Gazort struggled as it tried to shake off the ice, but it was futile as it was completely encased and immobile.
Chat whistled and grinned as everyone else watched in stunned silence. "Now that's one Akuma that's been put on ice!" Ladybug actually laughed at that pun.
With the monster immobilized, Tiga had his window. He flexed out his arms sideways as purple-blue energy charged up in his color timer, briefly stretched upwards to gather it between both arms, then threw out his right hand to cast a Runboldt Beam Shell. The shell of light impacted the frozen Spore Gazort, causing an electrical thermal shock that caused it's body to crack up before finally exploding in a flash of ice and light.
"He did it!" Alya cheered as she livestreamed Tiga's finishing shot. "Totally rad, dudes!" Nino shouted as he celebrated the monster's defeat with other bystanders.

"He did it," Mr. Damocles gasped as the student body and teachers erupted into cheers over Tiga's victory. Miss Bustier held Fiorella close to her as she allowed herself a smile of relief.

"Tiga did it!" Sabine squealed and laughed as she hugged Tom tightly. She was screaming in happiness at seeing her childhood hero prevail with Ladybug and Chat Noir.
Hawkmoth's Lair
Natalie watched as her employer's new monster exploded. Even though it was a defeat, Natalie couldn't help but be fascinated by this childhood tokusatsu hero Emily talked to her about.
Headquarters of the Fourteen Dark Kings...
"You failed, Watanabe," Hawkmoth growled at his partner. Hawkmoth the pointed to the screen with an angry expression. "Your 'old friend' just killed off our gambit, and in no small part with help from Ladybug and Chat Noir!"
"I can see that," Noboru said, "but rest assured that there are plenty more kaiju at our disposal. Losing the Gazort to Tiga was a loss, but a minor one."
Hawkmoth grimaced as he looked back to the live footage of Tiga. 'Ultraman Tiga... you won this round, but I will not concede the Miraculouses, no matter how powerful you are,' he thought.
Back with Tiga, he noticed a fiery, glowing daisy among the icy remains of Spore Gazort. He walked over and knelt down to pick it up. Chat and Ladybug watched as he crushed the daisy, releasing two akuma, which he grabbed, about ready to crush both butterflies.
"Wait!" Ladybug ran up closer to Tiga, with Chat Noir behind. "Don't destroy them! Let us handle it!"
Tiga looked down at Ladybug and Chat Noir, still gripping the two butterflies in his giant hand.
"My lady here can purify the akuma," Chat Noir voiced, "so please let her cure them!" Tiga looked back at his clenched fist. Just when Ladybug thought that he would not listen, Tiga opened his hand and lowered the two akuma towards her with a force field around them. Ladybug and Chat Noir then got a good look of the fire akumas in captivity. They were glowing fiery red-purple flame, like small beacons.
"These guys are certainly on fire," Chat wondered, "what gives?"
"I don't know," Ladybug said, "but we don't have the means or time to study them." Ladybug unslung her yoyo. "No more evil-doing for you two! Time to de-evilize," she chimed as she sucked the two akuma into her yoyo.
Chat smiled as the yoyo closed up, and Ladybug opened it back up to reveal two purified white butterflies. "Bye bye butterflies," Ladybug waved happily. She then reached around for the Lucky Charm water spray on her back. "Allow me," Chat offered as he helped take the pack off Ladybug's back. "Thank you, kitty," Ladybug replied with real deep gratitude and affection. The two gripped the Lucky Charm and smiled at each other. "How about we do it together?"
"It would be my pleasure," Chat said, even more happy to be with his Bugaboo than ever.
Ladybug and Chat Noir yelled, "Miraculous Ladybug!" and tossed the Lucky Charm into the air as it exploded into flurries of healing ladybugs, cleaning Paris of the vines and restoring plants and trees back to their nonviolent forms in parks and pots. Buildings leveled from the titan battle were also built back up. As the ladybugs passed over and through the school, the injured and drained victims suddenly felt their health return, including one Chloe Bourgeois. Everyone watched in wonder as the ladybugs restored Paris to its bright beauty despite the monster battle earlier, then swirl around Ultraman Tiga. As they did, every blemish, even the bite injury on his arm healed up. The Miraculous Ladybug process then ended as the ladybugs flew straight into Tiga's color timer. Ladybug, Chat Noir, and the others gasped as the blinking red color timer flashed blue again, and Tiga flexed his arms as his strength and light were restored. Interestingly, he even reverted back to his regular Multi Type as the red colors mingled with his silver and purple again.
"The Miraculous Ladybug... it restored his energy!" Alya gasped in amazement.
Tiga felt well again as he stood tall a little over the Arc de Triomphe. He then looked down at Ladybug and Chat Noir, who stared back up at him with smiles on their faces. Everyone watched as Tiga raised his arm and gave the two teen heroes a thumbs up.
"Heheh," Chat Noir reciprocated with a thumbs up of his own. Ladybug giggled as she also gave a thumbs up.
"This is amazing," Alya muttered as she recorded this historic moment, the world of Miraculous meeting with a legendary Ultraman.
The three heroes then looked over to where Spore Gazort used to be. The tadpole-like Clitters hummed peacefully as they rose into the air, no longer under the akuma's influence or desiring flesh or Miraculous. "So that's what that monster was," Chat Noir remarked as he watched the Clitters rise. "Yeah..." Ladybug added, "hard to believe creatures that cute looking could form such a vicious monster." "Well whatever they are," Chat shook his head with a smile, "at least they are no longer attacking us."
Tiga saw the Clitters float about, seeming a little aimless and looking for direction. He gently walked towards the school of the Clitters, his footsteps sounding deep as everyone cleared the way for him. He stretched out his arms and gathered glittering gold energy in them before bringing them together and shooting them at the Clitters. The glittering gold beam saturated and enveloped the school of Clitters, which seemed to suddenly float up next to Tiga, as though obeying some beckoning of his.
"What's he doing?" Chat wondered aloud as Tiga glanced back at him and Ladybug. A flash of his eyes into their own suddenly communicated his intentions.
"He... he's going to bring them back to space with him," Ladybug voiced aloud. She sighed in happiness. The spotted heroine was glad to know that this Ultraman was not one to simply kill living things wantonly.
Then Ultraman Tiga then crossed his arms, spread them out, and jumped up in the air and flew off. As he did, his right hand glowed with gold glitter as he urged the Clitters to follow him. The Clitters obeyed as they rose with a glitter trail behind them. Everyone in Paris watched as the victorious Ultraman Tiga flew around the city with the Clitters behind him, leaving trails of glittering gold particles as they went. Men, women, and children alike were enchanted by the sight of the friendly super giant gracing the city of lights with a lightshow of his own.
"It's so beautiful..." Ladybug cooed. She and Chat watched Tiga and the Clitters finally circle around the Effiel Tower, before accelerating and shooting off into space in sparkles of golden light. The golden particles showered down on the both of them. "Thank you... Ultraman Tiga," Ladybug smiled as she watched the particles rain down. It was then that Chat Noir held her as he too stared up into the sky. Ladybug glanced up to Chat as well. "And thank you, Chat Noir, for saving me."
"Anything for you... Milady," Chat Noir said with deep affection, "Pound it?"
"Pound it," Ladybug sighed in warm contentment. It had been a crazy, action-packed day. First she had been turned into an akuma's minion, then was saved by her partner Chat Noir, who turned out to be her crush and secret love, Adrien Agreste, who knew her secret identity enough to expose his own, and it was all thanks to the real-life Ultraman Tiga, with whom they not only defeated the akuma, but destroyed a full-fledged giant monster powered by two akuma butterflies. Yes... it had been one crazy, Miraculous day indeed. However, she was soon brought out of her warm thoughts by the beeping of the Miraculous.
Chat looked at Ladybug and his own Miraculous they beeped. The jewels were no longer shining so brightly now that Tiga was gone and his light had been depleted from their systems. Chat held Ladybug's hand up. "Well, how about we go someplace... private?" Chat grinned as he said this, causing Ladybug to blush.
"O... Okay," Ladybug accepted as she held onto Chat as they jumped off to a safe place.
"Wait! Aw... I missed them again," Alya whined, which was drowned out by the cheers of the people.
