And to Explain some stuff as well:
-Yeah, Raifort's Dislike for Arven is due to her Jealously at his Parents (Sada and Turo) and how she feels she deserves the Frame and Success they have.
Basically, Arven's like a Reminder of her Rivals in Raifort's Eyes with Juliana being a similar case with how she rose to being a Champion Rank Trainer in her First Year like Nemona (Yes, Nemona's a First Year Student, After the Rain/Biri-Biri and Dialogue mentioned this is the case as well) despite Juliana being a Nobody unlike Nemona…. Something she also feels jealously over as Juliana has the Popularity she desires when she was younger as well.
So Yeah, Raifort's not a Main Villain in this Story but her Jealousy towards others would be a major part of her character at least.
-Alvin's 'HRGGH' Is Geeta's way of preventing him form telling anything about her to Juliana and her Mother (Mizu) as well as her essentially keeping him on a Leesh with her Venom/Neruotoxins.
Geeta's Venom is basically a Cecaelia Ability where they inject their Venom into others to control them and also act as a Leesh as well if needed (Geeta does this with Carmine and Kieran as well, So expect this as one of Geeta's 'Punshiment' for her kids as well)
And Yeah, Geeta's Lair is an Underwater Cave ala Ursula's form the Little Mermaid as well, And it's also her, Carmine and Kieran's home as well.
-The Spooky Plate does get a Better name in Japan at least, The Specter Plate is what it's called in Japanese if you're curious.
-Yeah, Volo's Still trying to Overthrow Arceus thinking it'll not only allow him to meet him but also create his Prefect World as well…
So Basically, Volo's not only Immortal in my Stories but time has not been kind to him as he's still trying to dethrone Arceus as well, Even if his Sanity has been Slipping after his first defeat as well,
So this Story would be Round two of attempting to Dethrone God for him as well (With a New Plan and Legendaries as well.)
And him being Immortal is a Fan Theory I liked so I figured why not included to justify him in this Story alongside another character as well (Who's also believed to be Immortal too)
-Yeah, Penny's Mom is Abusive in this Continuity and her Dad's no better idea since he turned a blind eye to the Abuse his Wife does to their kid. (It's not Peony BTW, Peony's Penny's uncle in this Story since this was written before it was confirmed that Penny's Peony's Daughter in Canon),
Penny's abuse at her Mother's Hands is why Team Star means a lot to her since they're more of a Family then her Actual Family and even when Penny's Mother was arrested and her custody was sent to Peony's Family (Since he's wife is the Sister of Penny's Mother), Penny doesn't trust Peony so the Call is something she's not exactly comfortable with since she's not used to Peony's Affections as well.

Yup, Time for the Teal Mask Arc to begin and this story to truly start as well
This is the Only part of the Hidden Treasures DLC that would directly Adapted in Mermaid Legends (Indigo Disk would be going to slightly Different in a way and the Epilogue would be adapted out with the Area Zero Revist taking it's place as the Final Arc/Act 3 of this Story as well)

Chapter 3: A First Encounter Part 1

World of Pokemon, Land of Kitakami, In a Bus on the way to Mosu Town:
"Oh for the love of Arceus, When will this Bus Ride end…." Moaned Penny as she felt her Stomach ready to vomit out a large amount with how Bumpy it has been for her,
She may have agreed to come on this Trip to Kitakami but this is starting to give her second thoughts on it.
The Plane Ride wasn't so bad, Even if it took longer to get to Kitakami compared to going home to Galar due to the latter not being on the other Side of the World (The Former being located Between Sinnoh and Johto makes it harder for her), But this Bus Ride?
It was the Worst for her right now (Even if it's not as bad as constantly getting beaten by her Monster of a Mother back home in Galar before she was arrested with her being sent to her Uncle's Family as well) with the One thing keeping this tolerable is being with her Three New Friends on this Trip at least.
Sure Nemona's been a little TOO Excited for the Trip (Especially since it's a chance to catch new Pokemon for her Teams as well no doubt) and Arven's been quiet lately after talking to Miss Briar (No doubt about being the Descendant of the Man whom wrote the Book about the Paradox Pokemon and Area Zero that led his Mom down the Obsessive Path that is her Twisted Dream of a Paradise of Ancient Pokemon is what bothering him at the moment) But it's better then coming with People she doesn't even know about at least (Or worse, Her Bullies like Brandy whom was rather infamous for his Explosive Temper and Intense Love for picking on those he consider weak/poor/foreign/imperfect in his eyes, Especially with how much the older School Staff before Clavell's then to enable his violent behaviour as well)
Juliana then noticed Penny's Queasiness as she turn to her, The Hoennian Mermaid showing concern for the Galarian Girl as well.
"Hey Penny, I got some Medication for you if you need it, My Mom gave it to me before we left for Kitakami" Said Juliana (Whom has Tastu out of his Pokeball due to how Tiny he can fit onto the Bus) as she took out some Motion Sickness Pills form her Mother Given her (No doubt form personal experience when flying on a Plane to visit her Childhood Friends Rosa and Nate as well as being on a Vehicle on a bumpy Road in Unova is something Juliana doesn't want to experience much as well especially during long hours.)
"Thanks Juliana… Said Penny as she forced a Smile for her Friend as Juliana smiled back to her as the Former took the Pills form her.
"No Problem Penny…" Said Juliana as she let out a Small Palafin Click (Abit softer to not attract the Attention of Jacq, Raifort and Briar however) As Penny smiled back to her,
Sometime later, The Bus soon stopped at a nearby Bus Stop and the Group Quickly departed form it, Penny quickly taking the Medication Pills with some Water to help prevent her Motion Sickness form getting the better of her.
The Motion Sickness already starting to fade away slowly, But it wasn't enough right now for her,
"Well, This is Awkard… Said Miss Briar in concern as Jacq looked back to Penny in concern while Raifort remain netural as no doubt she doesn't want to raise suspicion about this as well as Arven quickly took out a Barf Bag for Penny to use as well in case she needed it.
"Thanks Arven…" Penny said back to him with a small smile of relief form it as she took it form him as she vomited into the Bag.
"You're a Life saver right now…"
"No Problem…." The Son of Professor Sada answered back to her as well, Relief Penny's slighty better right now at least, Even if her Queasiness is still present however as Arven return to being silent.
Fortunately, Juliana has an Idea as she quickly took out her Goodra Goo form her Pokeball.
"Goo, Can you help Carry Penny for the time being?" Juliana questioned the Goodra whom let out a Cheerful "Goo!" back to her mama as she lifted up her friend, Whom was surprised by this and then proceed to vomit into the bag as well
"Ok, That's better…" Said Penny as she turned to Juliana and her Goodra. "Thanks for the help again Juliana… Same with you Goo!"
"No Problem Penny…." Said Juliana with Goo letting out a cry of joy at the thanks she gotten as the Former turned to Arven,
"Well, That settles it, Shall we head to the Community Centre now?" Miss Briar questioned the Group.
"Yup!" Said Nemona as Juliana, Arven and Penny just nodded back in agreement.
"Well then, Let's go!" Said the Teacher form the Blueberry Academy as she and the Four Paldean Students form the Narjanja Academy soon departed for the Coummunity Centre in Mossu Town, With Jacq and Raifort following behind as well.
While Jacq was happy to see the students excited for the Kitakami Trip, Raifort was trying to keep her grudge against Arven aside as no doubt she can't look bad in front of Briar or the Kids (Juliana especially as no doubt she needs her for both her and Volo's Goals as well) and risk exposing her alliance with Volo to get her hands on her Chance for the Frame and Recognition she believes should be rightfully her's.
'Ok, Keep you cool Raifort, Don't make anything suspicious to the kids even if Sada and Turo's kid is present right now…' The History Teacher of the Narjanja Academy thought to herself with some slight growling form her mouth. 'Your chance of frame hinges on getting whatever Volo wants you to get in the Crystal Pool in this Area as well as ensuring Juliana is captured so we can use her to get the Devine Tempest…'
'You can't risk it right now however much you hated both Sada and Turo's kid as well as Juliana… your goal comes first and your grudge can wait…'

Mossu Town, Outside the Coummunity Center:
"So sis, Should we search for her right now?" Questioned a Young boy with black hair with Purple underneath them in a White School Uniform with a Bracelet with a Marble containing a Rainbow Helix DNA Strand embedded in it as he looked back to his Sister (Who has the Same black hair but Red underneath it instead) whom was pacing around the Entrance of the Community Centre right now, Whom was wearing a Blue Version of her Brother's Uniform with the same Rainbow Marble embedded to one of her Earings as well.
"No Kiki, Mother said she'll be here any moment, And we can't come back to Paldea without her unless we want to get Injected or worse, Shocked by her again…" Said his Sister as she hissed back to him.
"But Carmine, Mother's going to punish us if we came empty handed without her, And the Sooner we get to her, The be-"
"And Let's face it Kiki… Mother's only going to like us once we bring back that Mermaid she wants for her Plans….And She already told me our target is coming here today…." Carmine scrowled as she briefly let her Snake Tongue (A Trait among Cecaelia of them having a Snake tongue in place of a Human Tongue whether or not they're in Cecaelia Form or not, Much like how Merfolk have fangs instead of teeth in both their Human and Mer-Forms as well), As she scowled at the times her mother abused she and her brother,
No doubt to Geeta, they're just her personal eyes on areas she can't be in and them being her kids was almost like an afterthought as well (Even blackmailing their Grandparents (And by extension, Her Parents in law) form exposing their abuse to the public with their lives as the hostage against them with her Power as Paldea's League Chairwoman and Top Champion)
Being back home in Kitakami (Paldea's far form home given how much Abuse Geeta was willing to do on them if they failed to do their tasks form her), It was a mix bag as they're far form their mother right now, but they're under her orders as well.
But before she can dwell any further, Kieran then pointed in the Direction of the Town's Entrance.
"Hey Sis! Look over there!" He said as he and Carmine turned to the People entering the Town just now.
Besides their Teacher in the Blueberry Academy Miss Briar, There were two Teachers form the Narjanja Academy (All Three Teachers clearly behind the four students right now) with Four Students form that Place with a Brunette haired girl wearing a large hat with one of her hair tied to a braid with a Clip attached to it and a Goodra beside her, Carrying a Red and Blue haired girl wearing an Eevee Bag as well.
No doubt the Former is the Mermaid their Mother wanted to capture to help maintain her power over Paldea as well.
'Well, We finally found her… Even if we can't get her right now without raising Suspicion, We can finally get the love form Mother she denied us once we do g-' Carmine thought to herself just as the Cecaelia's Train of thought was broken at whom else was present
"Hey Nemona! Slow down will ya!" Said the Blond haired boy in the Group as he was showing a lot of frustration at the Ponytailed Girl with two Green Streaks on her head up ahead of them.
"Don't worry Arven! I'll be fine don't worry!" Said the Girl named Nemona as she was rushing up ahead.
As soon as Carmine saw Nemona, Her blood boils as she clenched her fists.
'So of all the People the Academy gotten… She HAS To be there….' She scrowled in anger at this turn of events, Just the worst of luck to be with the Person whom her Mother seems to prefer over her.
It was bad enough Nemona was already the Heiress to the Rotom Phone Company in Paldea, But she was also both the Student Council President and a Champion Ranked Trainer in her First Treasure Hunt as well, The youngest to be exact once that braid girl her mother's been interested in entered the picture as well.
To Carmine's eyes, All she can see Nemona as was one of the two Girls whom her Mother calls 'The Daughter she never had' while keeping she and her Brother's existance a secret form the Public to keep her Power as Top Champion/Chairwoman of Paldea (As well as their Natures as Cecaelias) intact as well.
It was hell not being loved by your Mother and regularly punished by her as well… So right now, It's the prefect time for revenge against her.
'Alright, Time to show this girl whom truly deserve the praise form mother…' Carmine thought to herself as she then approached Nemona whom just arrived at the Entrance of the Community Centre.
"So, I guess they can let everyone into Kitakami…." Sneered Carmine as she looked back to Nemona.
"Oh Hi! I'm Nemona… Nice to meet you…" Said Nemona to the black haired Girl ahead of her.
"Name's Carmine and this is my Little Brother Kieran…." Said Carmine as Kieran approached them, The Younger Cecaelia showing some shyness as he did.
"Eh, Hi?" Said Kieran as Nemona waved back to him.
"So you wanted to come into Kitakami eh? Guess you're such a City Snob and think you can walk in without anything?" Carmine continued as Nemona looked back in Confusion at this.
"Not Really? I'm on a School Trip with my Friends and Teachers…" She said as Carmine growled back at this as Juliana, Arven and Penny soon arrived (With Goo still carrying Penny as well)
"Well, We'll let you and your Friends in once if you can beat me in a battle…" Said Carmine as she smirked back at this, No doubt Briar and the other Teachers are some distance away at least so a quick battle won't hurt at least.
"Three on Three, Sounds good?" She sneered as Nemona smiled back to it.
"Sure I'm game!" Said Nemona as Carmine smirked back at this while Juliana, Arven and Penny just watched in Surprise.
"Well them Let's battle!" Said Carmine as she sent out her First Pokemon, A Ninetails.
"Alright Pawmot, Let's go!" Said Nemona as she sent out her Trusty Electric Pokemon whom has been part of her New Team alongside Skeldirege.
As the Battle began shortly Afterwards.
"Use Flamethrower Ninetails!" Yelled Carmine as her Fire Fox fired a Stream of flames at her foe
"Dodge with Dig Pawmot!" Nemona said to her Pokemon as her Pawmot gave a Thumbs up before he dug underground to strike at her foe, Which he did quickly before Carmine can issue a command.
'Ok she's good, but I'll show her whom deserve's Mother attention more!' Said Carmine to herself as no doubt Nemona may have been considered La Prima's 'Daughter' to the public, She'll prove to her that she's her Mother's Child…..
But to Nemona however, This was just a Chance for another Battle, Unware of the fact that she's facing one of Geeta's Children as well... or the jealously one of them is having towards her right now...

Meanwhile, Some Distance away form Mossu Town, at the Fallen Horn:
"Well, That should be it…." Said Cynthia as she finished setting up the Tent She and Diantha are staying for their Time in Kitakami.
"We should be ready for the Night when it comes…" She said as she turned to Diantha whom was currently in the River in her True Form as a Mermaid with Both her Starters Maree the Alomomola and Aurora the Gardevior by her side with Cynthia's Garchomp also out of her Pokeball as well,
The Latter Two Pokemon are currently in a Friendly Sparing match without their Trainers as they're helping the other sharpen their Possible weakpoints as well with their Mega Stones of Garchompite and Gardeviorite being held in their Accessoires (A Similar Necklace Charm to her Trainer for Gardevior and a Special Chest Armor for Garchomp) as well.
Likewise, Garchomp was noticable larger then most of her Species, Being considered an Alpha** (A Term used to describe Larger Pokemon effected by the Space Rt
Similarly, Diantha's true form as a Mermaid is her Legs and Clothes gone form her body and in their place a Pearl White Mermaid Tail (With a Dorsal Fin based on a Milotic's present on her back as well) and Fin with her Platinum Blond hair now loose and long compared to her human self's hair as her Hands became white while her Breasts are covered by her White scales and her Ears replaced by Fish like Fins.
She was also wearing both her Mega Charm Necklace that held her Keystone and also her Bracelet which while it may have stopped glowing right now compared to being on the Plane to Kitakami, It still does give Diantha a bad feeling about it right now even if her Swim right now is to get her mind off it.
While it's far form a Luxurious Hotel, Both Champions are Pretty used to living in the Open with Cynthia preferring to stay out of Mossu Town to not attract any unwanted attention to their time in Kitakami with Diantha moreso on the idea as not only being a World Famous Actress means a higher risk due to her Nature as a Mermaid being Exposed but also how being more Pokemon then Human due to her Mermaid Nature, She's not used to Fancy Living Conditions as well (Even preferring to Eat Pokemon Food over any Fancy Meals much to the Confusion of her Fellow Actors and Actress as well)
"Well, I Suppose Kathi won't mind me like this at least…" Said Diantha as she recalled her Manager often being Protective of her as well as managing her Schedule as an Actress, Especially since she's also her Bodyguard by her Parents due to being the Princess of the Kalosian Mermaids often Meant Kathi Lee was wary of others that could harm Diantha due to her Status as both a Mermaid and a Princess (Even if Cynthia being considered one of the Strongest Champions means her Princess is in good hands at least)
"But what is your First Plan of things Cynthia? Where should we investigate first?"
"Well, I say we should start investigating the Timeless Woods first, there could be something of Hisuian Origin or the Merfolk there as w-"
Cynthia suddenly felt a sudden chill form her body, As her eyes briefly flash Red as she felt a sense of Deja-vu form the Chill as it was one she hasn't felt in quite a long while…
Which she soon noticed a Vague shadowy figure in the distance as it look back to her,
'Is tha-' Cynthia thought to herself as the Figure was no doubt something she's knows,
"Is something Wrong Cynthia?" Diantha Questioned in concern as Cynthia turned to her Mermaid Friend, The shadow quickly escaping before Diantha could notice it as well.
"It's nothing Diantha, Don't worry about it…" Cynthia said back to her Friend as Diantha smiled back to her, no doubt it's something the Former doesn't want to talk about right now.
However, Neither Champion knew that the Shadow was still watching them a Distance away as it kept it's focus onto Cynthia before fading away afterwards.

At the Same Time, Back in Mossu Town:
"Shadow Ball now!" Said Carmine as her Starter Pokemon Sinistcha fired Spheres of Ghosty Energy at their foe as Nemona smirked back to it, Her Tinkaton also as eager for the battle.
"Alright Tinkaton! Use Brutal Swing in a Spinning Fashion!" Said Nemona as she quickly commanded her Pokemon to attack.
"Tinka!" Said the Tinkaton as she quickly spun like a top with her Hammer, Quickly knocking away the Shadowball and Slamming into Carmine's Sinistcha
'Strange, She's seems to focus more when I didn't use Pawmot…" Nemona thought to herself in confusion as Carmine (And to a lesser extent her Brother) seems to Flinch whenever Pawmot is used in this Battle, Especially when he uses an Electric type move as well, Even moving away as well form it.
But now that Pawmot's switched out for Tinkaton, Carmine's seem to be more focused in the battle as her current Pokemon was dodging attacks as well form Tinkaton.
"Use Scald now Sinsitcha!" Yelled the older Kitakami Sibling as her Starter fired a Stream of Hot Water at the Pink Hammer Wielding Pokemon whom dodged it with ease.
"Now Use Giganton Hammer with while spinning with Brutal Swing!" Nemona shouted as her Tinkaton then rushed up to Sinsitcha as she began to spin once more with her Hammer glowing a Sliver Grey Colour as she slammed the Hammer into the Corvergent Variant of Polteageist, Quickly defeating it with the Fusion attack, Knocking it out as it did.
Carmine remain slient at this as she recalled her Fallen Pokemon, As no doubt Nemona didn't lose any Pokemon form their fight and she's down to her last one of this 3v3 Battle…
'Guess it's time now…' She thought to herself as she quickly sent out her next Pokemon while Nemona quickly sent out her Original Starter Meowscarda for battle.
Said Pokemon being a Mightyena much to Penny and Arven's Surprise.
"Well, Guess she's the Dog type Person if she has a Ninetails but that Sinsitcha may throw a dent into things…" Said Penny with a shrug.
"I Suppose," Said Arven with a Shrug as he then noticed Juliana looking shocked at Carmine and then her Pokemon,
"Juliana, What's wrong?" He questioned as the Hoennian Mermaid was focusing on the Mightyena as well as it's acessory.
Mightyena has a Collar that embedded in it was a Toothpaste swirl Marble that was grey with Black and Purple swirls in it, Much like the one her Mother's (And by Extension, Her Pokemon Aunt) Milotic Athena has as well.
'Is that?' Juliana thought to herself as she gasped at the Mightyena's Stone on it's Collar as no doubt it's no doubt a Mega Stone, No doubt if her Earing was anything, Carmine has a Trick up her sleeve as well.
"Tch, Nemona, It's all fun and games for you? Well here's some Fun for ME NOW!" Carmine yelled as she quickly took pressed the Keystone in her Earing.
"Mightyena, Mega Evolve!" She yelled as the Mightyenite and Keystone began to glow as Rainbow Beams form both stones were emitted and merged together as Mightyena's Apperance began to change,
Her Body began to Enlargen as two heads began to appear beside her main head as the Light soon dispelled, Revealing the Mega Evolved Mightyena in the Process as the symbol of Mega Evolution briefly flashed as well in the Process.
Her Fur has became Darker with Purple Streaks in them with her claws and fangs becoming sharper as her two new heads are made out of Spectral/Ghostly Energy with them and her normal non ghostly head being more wolf-like then hyena like as well.
"Behold Nemona, Meet Mega Mightyena…." Said Carmine as no doubt she can finally stand a chance against the 'Champion' her mother favors over her and Kieran.
"Prepare to taste defeat here in Kitakami!"

*For those wondering, Kathi Lee is Diantha's Manager in the Anime (And Yes, Like with the Paldean Winds Trio in Chapter 1 of this Fic, Anime Exclusive Characters are a thing in this Story but don't expect Ash/Liko/Roy/TRio/Explorers to appear in this Story however) and Yes, She's a Fellow Mermaid like Diantha and Juliana as well.

Plus it'll be an excuse to add Special-ness to Cynthia as well even if she and Diantha are moreso supporting Characters in this Fic (Juliana, Arven, Nemona and Penny are the Main Characters in this Story with Carmine and Kieran as Supporting characters as well)

Well, I Figured I should explain some stuff at least:
Carmine's Personality Shown here: And Yeah, This is what I mean by Carmine being different form her Canon Self where Tsundere Personality is a Façade to hide the Abuse she suffered form Geeta (My Apologies for this but her Characterisation in Mermaid Legends was made before the DLC came out, It's based on the Theory she and Kieran are related to Geeta)
Since Geeta's going to be a Villain in this Story, All I can say is, You're going to hate her a lot in this Story…. (As in, She's not going to be a Sympathetic Character so for those whom want Complete Monster Villains, My Take on Geeta is for you at least)
So yeah, There's going to be early resentment form both her and Kieran regarding Geeta's Praise of Nemona over them (And to a Lesser extent Poppy) since Geeta keep their existance/relation to her a secret to avoid the abuse on them being exposed to the Public and by extension, Risk loosing her Position of Power as well (Let's just say Geeta's not a Sympathetic character in Mermaid Legends at least, And she's no Jack Homer Levels of Cartoony, I do plan to show her as someone whom'll do everything to keep their Power unchalleneged as well to say the least)
Likewise, Geeta often calls Nemona and Poppy the Daughters she never had to the public so Carmine also share some resentment for them due to her Mother showing more love for them over her and Kieran (Whom she'll Inject them with her Venom/Electrocute them as well when they fail)
So yeah, Carmine's Personality is moreso a Girl trying to hide the Abuse she suffered form Mother (Not helped that she and her Brother are Squid/Octo like Creatures like their Mother as well) and rest assured, I'm not going to have her or Kieran be like how Chloe was treated in Miraculous Ladybug at least, And rest assured unlike Gabriel, Geeta's abuse IS Bad and will be treated as such.
Likewise, Carmine's Hesitation around Electric type moves, Let's just Say Geeta's Punishements for her and Kieran left her a Phobia of being Electrocuted to say the least (She still has Morpeko however but she's not as close to it as her other Pokemon because of her Fear of electric shocks however)
Nemona's Team in this Fic: Yeah, You may have noticed Nemona has Two Starters in this Story (Skelidrege and Meowscarda) in this Story with the Former making Sense due to Juliana having Quaxly as her Starter due to Quaval, But where does the Meowscarda come form?
(Same with the Tinkaton in her and Carmine's Battle as well)
Well, Let's just say that Nemona's Original Team mentioned in the Beginning of Scarlet and Violet as well as the Intro of Clavell's Video is going to be playing a Role in this Fic! ;)
So For this story, Nemona's Original Team is her Starter of Meowscarda (Which is form her Sister (Nemona's Sprigatito is her Sister's Meowscarda's Offspring) on her Birthday before she enrolled into the Academy), Tinkaton, Cetitan, Volcarona, Goodra (Dragonite takes Goodra's Spot on Nemona's Base Game Team) and the Paldean Tauros she used in the Intro as well.
So Basically, Like what Ash's been doing in the 'Aim to be a Pokemon Master' Epilogue Episodes of Journeys, Nemona's rotating between her New Team and her Old Team with Pawmot and her Two Starters as her Constant Three for this Story as well.
Now regarding any of Nemona's DLC Pokemon, Would they appear in this Story (Especially since the Epilogue's adapted out of this Story due to this being a Semi-Adaptation)?
Well I can say is you'll have to wait and see where I go for this story however, Cause with what I have planned for Nemona down the line, I may have her Catch some of them at least but that's a TBD for the time being.
Diantha and Cynthia's Scene: Well It's mostly just to show what they're up to (Again, The Merfolk/Kitakami Stuff due to Diantha being a Mermaid in this Story like Juliana) since they're going to be mentors for Juliana, Arven, Nemona and Penny as well…
But don't worry, Anyone whom feels frustrated about Friede in Horizons (Even if as of late he's been in less episodes), Don't worry, They're not going to be hogging the screen time however at least but they're also have some ties to the plot at least… Though it's moreso lore stuff so don't worry about it.
Likewise, Their Scenes together are more or less 50/50 on it being either Romantic or Really Good Friends, So feel free to interpret them as either… (Likewise, Garchomp and Gardevior (Nicknamed Auora (After the Disney Princess in Sleeping beauty) are also similar friends like their Trainer as well)
And as for the Shadowy presence at the end, don't worry about it… It's likely nothing…
Same with Cynthia's Eyes flashing Red when she felt the Shadow's Presence…. It's probably just a Coincidence at least….

Also, This is the First Debut of Mega Evolution in Mermaid Legends of Paldea,
This is why Mermaid Legends of Paldea is a Semi-Adaptation since it's not limiting itself to purely game Material and likewise the Post Teal Mask Stuff being different (Epilogue being Removed in Favour for the Area Zero Stuff to be expanded on but for those wonder, Peacharunt's still in this Story but I got plans for it to say the least)
So Basically, This Story would be featuring other stuff beyond Paldea, Kitakami and the Blueberry Academy as well, So don't expect Mermaid Legends to be Purely following the DLC Story Beats
(Carmine and Kieran's Keystones are form their Mother btw (Same with the Paldean Elite Four/Gym Leaders, Clavell and Teachers of the Academy, Their Keystones are form her as well) Likewise Kieran's Mega would be saved for the Indigo Disk Arc as well)

Apperance: A Larger Mightyena with Darker Black fur with Purple marks on it's body with sharper Claws and Fangs (And the Snout of Mightyena being more Wolf like then Hyena like) with Two Spectral Heads by Mega Mightyena
(Mightyena gets Close Combat, Posion Jab and Jaw Lock as new Level Up Moves for it's Mega)
