Twilight sits on her throne at the end of the big throne room hallway-like room. She is still small in comparison to the throne she was handed down. Standing on her right is Blood Moon in dark purple royal armor. On her chest in ruby red is her cutie mark of the blood moon. A sword is strapped to the side tucked under her left wing.
Standing between her and Twilight is Spike, who is currently checking off a list in his claws. On Twilight's left is Fire Brand dressed in golden royal armor with his fire cutie mark on his chest in amber yellow. Strapped to his left is his sword.
The moonlight bleeds threw the stained glass windows of the throne room. Twilight looks around the room at the windows that detail her and her friend's adventures. Twilight sighs, placing her elbow on the armrest before resting her head against her hoof.
The entire group flinches as the painfully quiet room is filled with loud screams of pain. Moon and Fire Brand look at each other before looking back at the door. Twilight straitens up as Spike quickly rolls up the scroll. The big double doors open up with a greenish magic glow. The doors slowly reveal the two guards that had been standing out there were now on the ground with blood pooling on the ground around them. The pony standing at the door is covered in a brown cloak. Her dark pink muzzle pocked just out of the shadow of the hood. Her horn pocks out threw a hole cut into the hood of the cloak. Her magic holds a sword with blood dripping down the blade.
Moon grabs her sword with her mouth as Fire Brand uses his magic to pull his out. The mare smiles as she brings the blade to her mouth and carefully licks the blood away. Spike quickly writes a note as Twilight stands up and readies her horn. "A bloody sword rusts easier," The mare smiles wickedly at the group. Her eyes, altho unseen, stares Twilight down.
"Who are you!?" Twilight demands in anger.
"Somepony you shouldn't take lightly," The mare responds back, taking a step towards them. Moon and Fire Brand readies themselves. Spike rolls up the scroll before blowing onto it with green fire burning it away and out of sight.
"Why are you here?" Twilight asks.
"Have you heard of the story of the Highlands?" The mare asks, taking another step toward them. Twilight tilts her head a bit to the side while raising an eyebrow. "I'll iluminat you," The mare says, taking another step closer. "It's said that Alicorns have such immense power, that when killed, there magic has nowhere to go, so it jumps to the pony who killed them," The mare explains, looking down at the sword in her magic grip. "Primarly the legend tells of a sword, chopping off the head from it's body," The mare says, gliding the sword in front of her neck with out touching it.
"You've come to kill me?" Twilight asks, causing the mare to sigh and relaxe her shoulders in exasperation.
"No," She says with thick sarcasm in her voice. "I've come to cuddle you to death, of course, I'm here to kill you!" She yells as Spike takes Twilight's side.
"That's all I needed to hear," Twilight responds in a low tone. "Guards, you have promistion to attack,"
"With pleaser," Firebrand says before the two jump down from the throne and land running at her. The mare smiles, rasing her sword to her face. She starts casually walking towards them. Firebrand makes it to her first, taking a big jab at her face. She blocks and perries it away with out even breaking a stride. Moon slides to stop in surprise before spreading her wing. The mare smiles as Moon jumps into the air.
Moon takes one flap of her wings to speed towrds the mare like a bullet. The mare goes to block the attack, but watchs as Moon tilter her body to fly sideways and right next to her. Moon corkscrews and twists her head a bit. Her sword slicing a part of the cloak and digging into the mare's back. She grits her teeth as Moon quickly stops and turns around. The mare turns around with a smile on her face.
"Looks like we have a challenge here," The mare says before casually deflecting another of Firebrands attacks. Moon squnts her eyes at her before fling towards her again. The mare readies herself as Moon charges towards her. The mare swings her sword just as Moon dives down towards the ground. "Wha!" The mare lets out as Moon sweeps her off her feets, flipping her onto her back and losing control of her sword that falls to the ground next to her.
Moon quickly turns around and flies up before charging down straight at the mare with her sword pointed at her exposed pinkish belly. The mare rolls away, causing Moon's sword to clink off the ground as she lands. Her head being snapped up, causing a bit of discomfort in her neck. The mare quickly stands up and uses her magic to grab her sword as Moon readies to attack again.
The mare quickly jabs her sword at Moon, who slides out of the way before taking the opitunity to charg her down. The mare ducks and rolls away before Moon lands next to where the mare was standing at. She quickly wips around in time to see the mare taking a slash at her. It connects with Moon's cheek, causing a good cut to form where the blade had crossed. Moon stumbals back a bit before looking the mare down, unfased by the cut.
"Strong one too," The mare comments before jumping away as Moon takes a slice at her. "Pegjet," The mare says, landing on the ground. "Or at least I'm assuming," Moon doesn't respond as she wideans her stance a bit and stretches out her wings. The mare defflects another attack from Firebrand. The mare stairs down Moon as she patiently waits for her to make a move. The mare turns to block another futile attack by Firebrand.
Moon smiles before kicking off the ground and flapping her wings hard. This causes her to shoot forword towrds the destracted mare in a huge gust of wind wirling behind her. Moon twists around, sliding up next to the mare with her hind hooves targeting the mares side. Moon slams her hooves hard into the mare, causing Moon to go shooting off into the air and sending the mare into the ground, cracking the floor and most definitely a few ribs.
Moon arcs back around and looks down at the mare staggering back up before picking up her sword again. The mare looks up at Moon with a wicked, almost blood thrusty smile. "Strong in more ways then one I see," The mare says before being rudely interrupted by Twilight blasting her with an energy beam. The mare blocks it with a forcfield but is pushed back against the wall from the force.
"Go before this get's worse," Twilight commands to the mare as Moon lands in front of Twilight with Firebrand stepping next to her.
"I'm not leaving until I have your head and your power," The mare responds back.
"Then you will parish," Twilight says. Her horn glows again before shooting another lazer beem at the mare. The mare smiles before the lazer beem covers her entirely from the sight of the others. Twilight grunts as a force pushes against her beam. The beam breaks apart in a way so the group could see the mare still standing with a forcefield around her.
"You'll have to do better than that," The mare says as she slowly walks forward, pushing the beam slowly back towards Twilight. Moon, Firebrand and Twilight look in surprise as the mare easly pushes back the beam like it was paper.
Moon quickly snaps out of it before spreading her wings and taking off along the ground. Fire brand takes the other side running with his sword next to his head. The mare smiles, seeing the two coming from both sides. She grits her teeth together as magic swells around her horn. It slowly grows into a bigger and bigger ball. Right before the two get to her, she blasts the magic out, shaking the ground and sending the two into the opposite ends of the wall and stoping Twilight's magic.
Acid stops in his tracks in the hallway the moment he felt the ground shake. His horn spirts off a few sparks before his head hurts a bit. "What the flip is Twilight up to?" He asks himself before walking a bit quicker back the way he came towards the throne room.
Moon grunts as she gets up. Her helmet blown off and now lays in pieces on the ground while her stomach armor is shattered and cracked. Moon wips her cheek before picking up her sword again with her mouth. Firebrand lays motionless on the other side of the room.
"Now, there can only be ONE!" The mare says, flicking her sword as she walks towards Twilight with a wicked grin on her face. Moon grimisis and grunts, grunding her teeth together as she tells her bruised body to fly. She speeds towards the mare with one flap of her wing as Acid stops at the end of the hallway. His eyes widen at the dead guards at the door and the mare clocked in brown walking towards Twilight.
The mare smiles as she side eyes Moon. "Got ya," She wispears. The mare moves her sword and stabs it cleanly threw Moon's stomach, stopping her mid air just inches from slicing the mare's head off. Moon's eyes widen as she drops the sword to the ground. It clangs, ringing out in the empty room as Acid watchs in horror as blood drips down the mare's sword.
Moon swallos a lump in her throught as she feels her own blood run down her stomick. She slowly looks down at the sword stuck right threw her. Tears start running down Acid's face as tears fill Moon's. Twilight looks on in horror as the mare pulls the sword out of Moon, causing her to collaps to the ground head first.
"Too bad to," The mare says before licking the blood off. "You were a great opponent," The mare then turns back to Twilight before counting to walk at her. Twilight slowly steps back as panic fills her head. She looks up to see Acid standing at the far end of the hallway staring at Moon with a gap mouth and tears running down his cheeks and onto the floor.
Acid blinks, snapping himself out before shutting his eyes and gritting his teeth. His horn lights up before a flash of orange and white consumes him and teleports him next to Moon. He quickly wraps his arms around her body before his horn lights up again. The mare looks back in the corner of her eye to see Acid teleport away. The mare shrugs before turning back to Twilight.
"Now, will it be your head, or more guards?" The mare asks as Acid and Moon teleport next to the wall. Acid is hypervetanlating as pain washes over his body and a migraine forms in his head greater then anything he has ever felt. None of that mattered, all the mattered in that moment was Blood Moon bleeding out in his hooves. He shuts his eyes as he concentrates on his magic. His horn lights up again before a silver coller teleports in front of him and a splitting headac thumps against his head. Embedded into the coller is an orange rubby.
Acid quickly turns down to Moon and slips the coller around her neck. Moon crocks out a word that get's lost in her coughing up blood. Acid lights his horn up again right before the crystal on the coller lights up. The hole in her stomach starts to heal back up slowly.
"Acid," Moon grunts out before coughing again. Her body shaking a bit as the cold air brushes against her body.
"Shh, just rest," Acid says as the tears return to his eyes. He gently places a hoof on her cheek. Moon looks at the hoof and smiles before weakly wrapping her own around his. Acid quickly places her hoof back on the ground as the sword hole slowly heals completely.
"Acid," Moon tries again, but get's stoped with a coughing fit.
"Just relxe, you'll be all right," Acid says through tears. The tears run down his cheeks before dropping onto Moon's chest. "I can't lose you too, not so soon. We were so close."
"Acid," Moon tries again, placing a gentle hoof onto his cheek before wiping away the tear. "I love… you…" Moon finally slips out as her hoof goes limp. Her eyes slightly roll up as her jaw unclenches.
"No!" Acid yells in pur terror. Moon's hoof falls to the ground as Acid checks her breathing. He stays there for a few seconds before siting up and placeing his hoofs onto her chest. He pushes against her chest with all of his wight, causing her chest to get pushed in right before a loud crack. Acid keeps up the comprestions as tears fill his eyes.
Spike runs over to Acid as he blows another scroll into flams. "Acid, help is coming, she's going to be ok," Spike says, sliding to a stop in front of him. Acid ignors him and keeps up his rythem. Tears stream down his cheeks as his body starts to ack from the exertion.
Twilight looks over for a second, just long enough to see the color drain out of Acid's eyes through his tears. She quickly wips back in time to defend herself against another magic and sword attack.
Acid stops and sits down on the ground. The tears drying on his face as he stares down blankly at the ground. Spike walks up to him worried. He gently places a claw on his arm while looking up at him. The color had gone from Acid's eyes. The glowing orange now a mute, dull, dead orange.
Acid stands up as Twilight is pushed back by another magic blast right into the throne, toppeling it and her over. Twilight quickly gets up and looks over to see Acid picking up Blood Moon's sword with his magic before turning around and facing the clocked mare. Twilight looks in worry, but can't help but smile just a bit.
The mare turns to look at were Twilight was looking, but found nothing but Blood Moon's liveless body and Spike running for the hallway. The mare shrugs before turning back to Twilight, who was smiling at her. The mare's eyes widean right before she uses her sword to block another sword heading for her neck. She looks over in time to see a flash of orange, causing the sword and the pony to disappear.
The mare side steps in time for a sword to slam down on the ground were she stood. Acid lands on the ground behind the sword before lefitating it in front of him. His eyes fixed on the mare with the accuracy of a well trained solder and the emotions of a cold, dead pony.
"You killed my wife, prepar to die," Acid dead pans in anger as he takes a step forward.
"That's the thing about love," Twilight says as the mare turns to her. "If someone losses all that they loved, they have nothing left to live for, so they will fight till the end. Doesn't that just scare you," Twilight smiles, causing the mare to shiver in her clock before remembering the stallion behind her and turning back to face him. He had disapeard again. The mare looks around and waits for another attack, now panicing a bit.
"Love never got anyone anywhere," The mare scoffs before blocking an incoming sword attack. She smiles before regreting it. An orange beam slams into her body from the opposite side the sword came from, causing the mare to go sliding across the ground before stopping. She quickly get's up and rases her sword up again. She locks eyes with Acid across the room from her.
She looks down next to Acid to see the limp remains of the mare she had just killed. She looks back up at Acid before realization strikes. "You're her husband," The mare smiles before readying herself. "This is going to be fun,"
Acid grimises at her before charging her down. The mare runs towards him. Right before the two clash swords, Acid teletports away. The mare wips around, but Acid had not teleported behind her, he reapered back in the same spot. Acid swips his sword towrds her neck, but misses as she dodges away.
"Sneaky son of a bitch," The mare grimises as she backs away. "I've never seen that before,"
"That's because he's had to learn how to fend for himself since he was little," Twilight adds, distracting the mare just enough for Acid to send a jab at her. The mare doges, but not enough. The sword slash her clock down the side, cutting into her side before returning back to Acid. Acid's eyes widean in surpris, for a second life was breathed back into him. Twilight's eyes widen too as the cloth lands on the ground.
Bleeding from the side was not her body, but her wing. Her body was very purple. The mare looks down at her wing in surprise and worry. She snaps out of it first before heading towards the stanglassed window. "Sorry to cut this short, but I now must go," The mare says, breaking the glass with her sword before jumping out the window and flying away.
"Get back here you BITCH!" Acid yells out in sething anger. His eyes again drained of life as he runs after the mare. Twilight grabs Acid in her magic, causing him to drop the sword. "Let me! Go…" Acid's eyes slowly close as guards run into the room with Spike leading them. Twilight gently places Acid down as she walks over to the guards.
"Get Acid to the nearest and best mental hosbital, now!" Twilight demands.
"Yes princess!" The guard saluts before heading to pick up Acid. She turns and saddly looks at Blood Moon still laying on the ground. She walks over to her still open eyes staring at the ceiling. Tears from in Twilight's eyes before she gently closes Moon's eyes. "Rest well my loyal guard."
