It had gotten quite late when Naruto reached his apartment. The streets were usually empty in his area but at this time it was pin drop silence there. He made his way up the stairs to the upper floor of the building where his house was located.

He unlocked his door and swiftly went inside.

After entering his house, Naruto gave a sigh of relief. Infiltrating the archives was more stressful than difficult. He then took out the scroll in which his clone had written down and checked all the jutsu once again. He had gotten plenty of jutsu that he could rely on in battle.

Now he started rearranging the jutsus according to their nature transformation.

For wind he had, Gale Palm ( C-Rank), Air Bullets (C-Ranked),Great Breakthrough (C-Ranked) , Rotating Wind Shuriken(C-Ranked), Pressure Damage (B-Ranked), Vaccum Great Sphere (A-Ranked), and Grear Wind Cutter (A-Ranked).

For water he had, Water Gunshot (C-Ranked), Water Stream ( C-Ranked), Wild Water Wave (C-Ranked), Water Tornadoe (C-Ranked), Colliding Wave (B-Ranked), and Divine Weeping (B-Ranked).

Finally the fire jutsus he had taken were, Fire Dragon ( B-Ranked), Searing Migraine (B-Ranked), and Dragon Flames Release ( A-Ranked).

This would be enough for now. He had not only gotten wind jutsus, but fire and water as well as he wanted to give Sasuke a reason to train with him and for him to use the water jutsus in addition to his wind. He binded the different jutsus in three different notebooks and decided to keep them on his kitchen table for now.

Naruto then decided to do the main thing he had been waiting for.

He went inside his bedroom and sat down on his bed and closed his eyes. In a flash he was in his mindscape.

What earlier was sewer was now a warehouse, with Kurama still trapped behind his seal. Naruto had discovered it was possible to modify his mindscape if he thought hard enough. The warehouse wasn't pretty, but it was definitely an upgrade over the old sewers.

"Naruto"

The fox addressed the boy as he came into view.

"Seeing our work for today is done, We need to talk right now."

Naruto kept his posture as the biju continued.

"Now that we have rested up, both mentally and physically, and fulfilled the first step, you need to realize some things that you should keep in mind."

"You mean how I shouldn't try to use Rasenshurikens and Chakra mode?"

The biju gave a grin, the boy had grown pretty well in three years.

"Precisely, those jutsu are too straining, something this young body of yours cannot tolerate. It has yet to adapt the physical and chakra capabilities of your older self if you are to use them, and getting to that physical level will take an year and a half atleast.

Naruto nodded in understanding. He could already feel the considerable weakness of his current body. It couldn't mold chakra and was quite frail compared to his older self.

"Though, you still WAY more chakra reserves thanks to your Uzumaki genes and my presence. You can still use shadow clones as you normally do, and the jutsu we have procured today should be totally fine for you to do. The same could be said for the Rasengan, although you do need considerable chakra control before you try to pull that off."

"Then that's what i will begin my training with tomorrow, i already know how, so it shouldn't take me too long to relearn the jutsu, and you being there as a friend will ease up things too!"

Kurama smiled at his captor. He was glad to see that the blonde was cheerful as ever.

"Okay then, tomorrow morning at 7 o'clock we begin your training."

"Aye aye Kurama."

Naruto then prepared to get back to the real world as a thought came across his mind.

He then stretched his hand forwards with an open palm and began to concentrate.

Kurama then realized what he was doing.

Suddenly, a scroll appeared in Naruto's hand.

It was a physical manifestation of the flying Raijin jutsu his father gave him moments before hos departure.

"Man, i almost forgot about this."

The boy then excitedly opened the scroll to look at the details. His excitement was cut short by a nervous expression.

Kurama once again realized what was going on.

Flying Raijin was not your ordinary jutsu. It needed a specific seal pattern to be used as markings and as far as he remembered form Minato's talks around Kushina that the seal was unique for every different user. And creating that seal required extensive seal knowledge. The problem was the Naruto was below novice level at seals.

"Kid"

The boy turned his gaze up towards Kurama.

"We should leave that jutsu for now, as we need you to rebuild your strengths at the moment, and i am pretty sure that you are quite lost at the seals related section of the scroll, hm?"

Naruto gave a sheepish grin and nodded.

Then he went back to his usual self.

"Don't worry kurama, with my clone jutsu i will learn all about seals in a day snd the-"

"Don't even think about it."

Kurama's stern voice made Naruto go silent.

"Seals aren't your simple ninjutsu, they require a few years to reach a 'good' understanding, and don't take it personally, but you aren't the best at literature based study."

"Hey!"

The biju just simply continued, "Not to mention the space time component of the jutsu, it requires more than excellent chakra control and patience, if anyone of these are in the lacking your entire move fails at best, and you get ripped apart in the space time vortex at the worst."

Naruto gulped. These were the reasons that there weren't many space-time ninjutsu users in the elemental nations.

"That is why i say we keep seals at the shelf for now and work on your ninjutsu. You can work on it when you meet Jiraya, he is a seal master and your father's teacher afterall."

"Jeez, that's a much better plan Kurama, you are much smarter than me."

Kurama just sweatdropped but smiled in the end.

"Heh, a thousand years of existence and being taught by the old sage probably helps too."

"Although for now you should go to sleep as you beed to wake up early tomorrow."

Naruto nodded as the scroll he was holding faded away as he returned to the real world. He then took one single glance at the village through his window and then slopped down on the bed.

It was going to be a long day tomorrow.

"So you two realize what your mission is, right?"

It was Hiruzen in his office as he was talking to two Konoha-nin. They were specifically Anbu guards.

"Hai Hokage sama! "

They two Anbu members were wearing white masks with animal faces drawn on them.

"Alright, so Sparrow, Falcon, you are to watch over Naruto Uzumaki starting at the first rays of sun. Sparrow will take the daytime shift anf Falcon will take the night one."

"Hai!"

"Then you are dismissed. Go to your homes and get prepared."

The two Anbu then gave a respectful bow and then sunshined away from the room.

Hiruzen the slumped into his chair, his smoking pipe in his left hand.

After watching Naruto today, he was certain something was up. Maybe it was due to the Kyubbi's influence. That's why he made the choice to assign two Anbu to Naruto. They would be able to act quickly of anything like that happened, more specifically Sparrow. He had assigned Falcon as well as to not overburden Sparrow, but also because Falcon was one of the few he trusted not to be scared into killing the boy if the biju did break free.

He looked at the clock in his office. It was half past ten.

It had been a while since he had talked with Naruto.

By this time he should've been back at his house, probably sleeping.

Right then he heard a knock on his door.

"Come in."

As the door opened, Iruka entered the office.

"Iruka? I didn't expect to see you at such a late hour."

Iruka smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head.

"Sorry Hokage-sama, i had quite a lot of paper work to go through after school and papers to grade."

The old kage smiled kindly.

"I see, so what service i can be of to you today?"

"Actually my Lord, i came here to talk about Naruto."

The hokage's ears perked up at the mention of Naruto.

"What about Iruka, is he misbehaving again?"

The chunin shook as head as he said, "Not at all sir, its actually quite the opposite."

The hokage was confused as he motioned Iruka to continue.

"Naruto didn't pull off any pranks today and although not quite attentive nor interested, didn't interrupt the lesson in any way and also actually managed to answer a question."

The hokage was surprised. Usually when people came to him to talk about the boy there were there to complain or to convince him to let Naruto be turned into a living weapon.

"That is good to hear Iruka."

"Right? I came here to ask if it was something you said to him, Hokage sama, to cause such a change."

The hokage shook his head, saying, " Not at all Iruka, i didn't say anything to the boy."

Iruka had a confused expression for a while but soon reverted back to his smile.

"Then I guess it's just Naruto kun getting mature, eh?"

" Hm, I guess so Iruka."

"Then I will be on my way Hokage sama, good night."

Iruka gave his kage a bow as he exited the office leaving Hiruzen to his devices.

So Iruka saw some changes too huh?

It might be the boy maturing, just like Iruka said, but Hiruzen knows it goes much deeper. He may be overthinking, but it was this overthinking that had saved him from time to time in battle.

What is going on with you Naruto-kun?

A.N.- Chapter 4 is here, as usual review and share any thougts and thanks all for their kind words. This chapter is more of a stepping stone for the future. Next chapter will be longer(hopefully) at about 4k words if i can make it. I am going to modify the wirld a bit though, and cut out one particular character (Towards the end specifically, sorry if you don't like it). I might skip a few bits as i have nothing interesting to add and consider what happened in the anime as what happened here as well. Peace.
