The younger ones were the ones who were most uncomfortable and nervous at the screams of the creature at the mercy of Natasha's counterpart, who wanted to avoid losing her humanity. Especially the chestnut, as Shuri clung as best she could to her skepticism of the supernatural.

While Natasha herself was questioning whether the other version of the Russians she once worked for, were worse.

Van Helsing, 2005 - Naples

Sometimes, even the Holy Order could find itself at the end of its rope, with its resources stretched to the breaking point, and not enough Knights to deal with an overload of supernatural threats.

The picture on the screen changed again, but everyone found Van Helsing out of place, considering where he was. Although some were still trying to send discreet glances at Natasha, emphasis on "trying."

Van Helsing didn't really fit into the nightclub in which he was currently sitting. The decor was very modern, multi-colored lights were flickering unnecessarily, and the music was too loud and of a style to which he would never adjust. And as for the clientele...

Of all those present, Fury, Bucky, Rogers were the ones who identified most with Van Helsing

Well, Van Helsing couldn't help but appreciate the crowd of sleek and beautiful women who seemed to be engaged in a competition to see who could wear the least clothes without actually stripping naked. And he tried not to be too harsh in his opinion of the softly elegant young men who posed and postured throughout the club in an effort to be impressive - it wasn't their fault they were growing up in such a shallow and over-prosperous era.

Due to the diverse personalities of all the viewers, they each had their own opinions on how normal people have fun or hang out, with some agreeing more with the monster hunter than others.

It all reminded Van Helsing of something he had seen many times before. The last stages of a decadent time, when the youthful nobility fell into greater and greater excess, occupying themselves with endless rounds of increasingly exotic entertainment and debauchery. Only this time, it wasn't just the nobility - it was the majority of the population.

Given the narration of the hunter's thoughts, certain questions were raised about what events he could refer to, considering that if he had been alive since the first crusade or more, it was not a short list.

For a moment, Van Helsing tried to imagine Anna and himself dancing in the club. A wry smile appeared on his face as he realized that Anna would adjust much better then he would. And she'd probably pick up the dance style in just a matter of minutes.

Then Van Helsing shook his head and took a long swallow of a really quite excellent red wine from an expensively fluted glass. The last time he had been in Naples had been a century ago. He spent his last night in town in a now long-vanished dockside tavern, drinking a much rougher vintage from a chipped ceramic cup, as he listened to work-worn fishermen talk quietly about boats, the sea, and their families.

Logan walked into the nightclub. He somehow managed to look even more out of place than Van Helsing. Even so, more than a few young women - and some young men - were giving him interested looks. Raw animal magnetism could apparently compensate for an utter lack of style.

"Yes, neither of them fits in there," they all agreed with Wilson's statement, neither of the two men looked like someone who would be in such a place.

"Then why are you there?" Parker asked the others, who identified himself in the aspect of not being someone who frequents places like that, he did not understand why they were, due to how young he was and the lack of experience he had compared to other spectators

"Maybe it's because no one would pay attention to them, or because they're waiting for something to happen," T'Challa said, giving Parker two chances

For his part, Logan gave the interior of the nightclub a long and steady look. His impression of it was obvious from the grimly disgusted look on his face.

It didn't take Logan long to spot Van Helsing. He immediately walked over to the Knight.

"What the hell?" Logan growled as he sat down at Van Helsing's table.

"I heard you were available. And I need your help," Van Helsing said. "Oh - and by the way - hello, and thanks for your help back in Berlin."

Logan let out a frustrated sigh and glared around at the nightclub. "You're damn right you need my help. And hello to you, too. And I appreciate the save at Dieppe."

"Help?" said Sam Wilson with some skepticism and concern mixed in, since with what they have seen of the two men, even if it was only brief moments of each, neither of the two men with great physical resemblance seemed to be someone who needed help, so if one needed the help of the other, whatever it was was worrying

"A beast of the Apocalypse"

"Stark/Tony" some complained to the billionaire

"Stark, don't joke about that. Don't tempt luck," Hawkeye said, not noticing that Wanda nodded her head in agreement with what the archer said

A waitress appeared. She put a glass in front of Logan and then reached for the bottle that was sitting on the table.

Logan grabbed the waitress by the wrist. She froze in surprise, her dark eyes gone wide. She could handle the usual touchy-feely drunk without much difficulty, but her instincts told her that these two men were something completely different.

"Leave," Van Helsing told the girl as he took a revolver out of his jacket and opened the cylinder to check its load. "There's going to be trouble. We don't want you to be hurt."

The waitress nodded jerkily. Logan let her go and she immediately fled.

"The good thing is she didn't draw attention to herself," Wanda said

"In those places, many people don't know what's going on right next to them," Natasha told her, since on missions she or Clint had had, they had noticed what happened when they followed targets to places like that

Logan and Van Helsing waited until they saw the waitress slip out the back door. This was going to be a mess, but at least they had saved one innocent life. Everything else was in the hands of the Almighty.

Then Logan turned to face Van Helsing. "Why are they doing this? It's sure to attract attention. That's not the way they do things."

"Perhaps in the modern-day it's easier to hide in plain sight," Van Helsing suggested.

The spectators in the room slowly began to realize what the two hunters were looking for, creatures that must be right in the club, but it was very difficult for them to identify where they were, and in the opinion of the majority, there was a large number of civilians in danger

Then he got to his feet, hefted the revolver, and allowed an extensible silver stake to fall out of his coat sleeve and into his hand. He flicked the stake open with a smoothly practiced move of his wrist.

Logan stood next to Van Helsing and extended his claws. They flashed silver and red in the wildly flickering light.

The bouncy dance music continued to play incongruously, but movement in the club steadily ground to a halt as dozens of vampires realized one by one that they really weren't the local apex predators any longer. Teeth grew into fangs, and fingernails became claws. Meanwhile, the still-human part of the crowd either ran, cowered, or stared at their masters in rapt adoration.

"When this is over, we need to talk," Logan said.

"Agreed," Van Helsing said just before he shot the nearest vampire through its head.

The next thing that happened was a carnage, which everyone saw with surprise since they could not differentiate the vampires until they stopped dancing and changed their appearance, only some like Nick, Natasha, Bucky and some others realized moments before because of the body language that some were hiding something.

"Oh my God"

"By Jesus"

Wanda and Lang said as the fight unfolded, as they watched with the rest that some vampires when they died were burned and turned to dust, others like stuffed mummies, others seemed to age their bodies for centuries until they turned to dust, and others were dismembered, with the latter being the ones who left the most remains and blood when they died.

In spite of everything, one part of Peter Parker thought of carrying holy water or a crucifix when he goes on a night watch, in the possibility that he might run into a vampire, while another was not at all comfortable with the violence shown, especially the one that was done by Wolverine, although this part made him mentally remember what those creatures were. "They're vampires, they're vampires"

"Is it the whole club?!" Lang said somewhat dismayed at the number of vampires, as it didn't seem to matter how many the two men killed, only more and more appeared.

"They're becoming a plague," said the prince of Wakanda, thinking of a troubling possibility that no one liked.

As for Nick, he gave a signal to Agent Hill, to increase the level of risk on vampires, as well as increase the priority of investigating them.

Logan, 2005 - Westchester County

It turned out that Logan had a flair for gifts.

Fortunately for some members of the group, the image changed, to show a room decorated with holiday decorations

"Thank God," Lang said with a sigh, making a mental note to never let his daughter go to a nightclub, lest she run into a vampire.

Last Christmas, every women and girl at the school received a kimono made of exceptionally fine silk. They came from a shop in Tokyo that not many people could afford, but the owner owed Logan a life debt.

The Christmas before that, it had been incredibly tasty Swiss chocolate. Logan just smiled as every female in the school cursed him for their inevitable weight gain.

"I'm a little confused," Shuri said as the screen showed the Christmases of the different years and the gifts that Logan gave, at the same time trying to make her mind ignore both the strong moments she witnessed on the screen, as well as the contradictions to science. "Maybe… he's not as tough as he seems"

"Are you forgetting all the creatures he killed?!" Sam couldn't help it, remembering along with the others the various creatures that have been shown, however brief their moments on screen were.

"Maybe only with the people he trusts," Bucky added

The rest were the same, but on different levels to what the African princess said, except for her brother who had an idea of why she said that

Before that, he had given them long and elegant hairpins made of steel-shod onyx and lapis. Logan then taught a special session in his self-defense class on how they could be used as quite effective weapons.

This year, he gave jewelry. Earrings, to be precise.

Vision, on the other hand, was comparing the faces of some of the women they showed, as well as Hill, Natasha, Nick and others, with those they had seen before, detecting some that were the same, although the ages were different, which caused them several questions as to whether the images they had even seen were from the same alternate world or from another. And the second only complicates things more in the face of the variations that may exist between the worlds.

The evening of Christmas day, Ororo visited Logan's room wearing nothing but her silk kimono and her new earrings. The kimono vanished fairly quickly, but the earrings stayed on.

Peter blushed rather quickly, Shuri felt somewhat embarrassed, but not at the level of the arachnid, the same happened on other levels with individuals like Steve or Lang from seeing some private moment, at least the position of the camera protected part of the modesty of the beautiful woman with dark skin and white hair

"Would this count as a XXX movie?"

"It's not the time, Tony/Stark."

Sitting up on the edge of the now rumpled bed, Ororo examined her reflection in the window, tilting her head so she could examine her earrings.

"I am afraid the review on your gift this year is a bit mixed," she told Logan with an amused smile.

Logan got up and sat behind Ororo. Resting his chin on her bare shoulder and wrapping his arms around her stomach, he gazed at Ororo's reflection.

"They look great on you," he said.

The earrings had a definitely barbaric look. They were made of beaten silver and each of them supported a long, narrow, and savagely sharp tooth.

"He hasn't lost his touch," Bucky remarked with some slight amusement, remembering what they saw earlier when Van Helsing was healed by a woman, as well as some gossip from the brief time he and Steve met their own Logan, while the screen showed all from Wolverine's shoulder.

Ororo's smile became broader. "Some would say they make me look uncivilized."

Logan carefully nipped the edge of Ororo's ear with his teeth, and Ororo murmured a pleased response.

"I see you as a princess of Mars," he said. "With a radium pistol in one hand and a sword in the other. And the earrings."

Ororo raised an eyebrow at their reflections. "Who would have thought that you were a Burroughs reader? Perhaps I could have a loin cloth as well?"

"Nope. Nothing that covers your breasts, either. Let's not ruin perfection."

By now, Logan's hand were boldly roaming up and down Ororo's body. And Ororo was finding it difficult to concentrate.

"Breathe boy" Tony said to Peter at how red he was, because his adolescent mind generated a mental image of the beautiful woman, although it was hardly the only one, but he was the most obvious

For now, Logan's hand was boldly running up and down Ororo's body. And Ororo was having a hard time concentrating.

"Logan... one serious question. Some of the girls have asked about this. The teeth in the earrings, they do not come from some endangered animal, do they?"

Logan's eyes suddenly went coldly narrow. "Not as endangered as you'd hope."

Ororo was about to ask why, but then their lips meet and conversation became secondary.

"At least that this place is worth it," Tony said jokingly, but not very well received by the others.

"Mr. Stark"

"Tony"

"Stark"

"I'll tell Pepper" that last one was given by two

"You are traitors."

Natasha, on the other hand, like Maria Hill, rolled their eyes with some exasperation, annoyance and shook their heads at the attitude of their male companions
