Marvelesque1Der: The scene from the first chapter of was the intro of Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Gundamfreedom0: Maybe I'll put in some of the other cutscenes from the video games
Guest: As for the comics, I'm not entirely sure what I think of this fic. My original idea was this fic and two other Marvel reaction fics.
One with the characters from Spectacular Spider-man. And another one from Spectacular Spider-man with X-men Evolution
In the one that was only with Spectacular Spider-man I thought about putting some of Spidey's moments in the comics
If I had more free time I would make some of my other ideas, but for the moment they are just like that, as ideas
"Will the world ever be normal again?" Sam said to no one in particular, as the question on his mind he asked out loud without realizing it
"That ship has already sailed" said the Winter Soldier, who kept an eye on the Wakandan royals, so he realized that he no longer seemed to be Black Panther's main concern.
Sam turned to look at Bucky for a brief moment in which it took him to realize he was saying his thoughts out loud.
"I'm going to need something strong for this," the billionaire commented as he continued trying to come to terms with the whole concept of the supernatural, vampires and other monsters, along with thinking about all the problems the supernatural could cause... as if dealing with aliens wasn't enough.
He wasn't the only one who was thinking about the creatures of the night, the princess of Wakanda kept trying to think of a scientific way to explain their existences.
She was so focused on it that she didn't notice her brother patting her on the back in support, as T'Challa had noticed how shaken his younger sister was in her understanding of the world and tried to hold on to science and technology.
"Hey... Is it just me or is no one else hungry?... or don't you feel tired?" said the Ant-man, earning dry glances or with a slight annoyance, at least the last one only lasted a moment when they realized it too
"Now that you mention it... we've been here for a while and we haven't been hungry or thirsty," said the Captain, turning to look at the rest
"How come we missed it?" it was Clint who asked that question and inwardly berated himself for not noticing that detail
"I think we had a lot of things to think about," Wanda said
"That's an understatement, Matilda," Tony commented, earning a brief glance from the Sokovia native woman, which Iron-man ignored as he continued talking. "Vampires, monsters, the Vatican, alternate versions, a secret order, the hand of god, mutants, werewolves, machines that rejuvenate people, various spider boys or spider-men, more unknown with powers... Should I continue?"
Even though Stark was right, no one said anything, but before anyone could say anything else the screen lit up again
"Now what?" it was Maria Hill who said it as the screen showed what looked like New York at night, as the screen moved around the city until it stopped to show...
"The boy again?" Rhodey said when he saw Spider-man, as did the others.
"Is it the future or another world?" asked Clint, noticing that the suit on the screen wasn't the one the boy was wearing
For his part, Parker noticed that the costume of his future self or counterpart looked more like the one he had imagined wearing before he met Tony Stark, much better than his homemade suit
"Tell me there's something better." They all heard Peter's voice, only it sounded more confident and more cheerful
"Yee-Haw!" Spider-Man yelled as he crossed the city. "Come on... Try it... How I spent my summer vacation?... by Peter Benjamin Parker. I can sum it up in two glorious words: Spider-man... I am Spider-Man" Peter exclaimed as he swung and did tricks all over New York.
"It may sound silly, but it looks like he was referring to us," Lang said, finding what the Spider-man said on the screen odd
"… It seemed that way to me too," Sam said, finding that strange as well as others
For her part, Natasha focused on how the arachnid on screen moved around New York, she wasn't the only one, she and others were surprised to see how he moved through the city, the distances he could travel with a jump and more.
"He looks more nimble than Steve," Bucky said
"More agile than Nat," Rogers clarified
"There's only one thing missing. It's the last night before school starts and I could really use some action," Spider-man thought to himself before his eyes widened when he heard an alarm in the distance.
Spider-man jumped off the building.
"School?, Is he also a teenager?!" Lang said, surprised that this arachnid was also so young
Fury, on the other hand, had no doubt that Peter Parker had inherited his parents' strange luck in attracting trouble, while some of the others gasped as they watched him fall for a few seconds before throwing a web and swinging towards crime. Clint, Lang and Wanda were the most concerned of all, the first two being parents and Maximoff being the third youngest of all those present.
"Is that one of your powers?" Shuri asked Parker as a distraction from her 'existential debate'
"Huh. No-no. I-I made it in my school's chemistry lab," said Peter, but stammering at first
"Really? How?" she asked, and they both started talking about the making of their web and the chemical compounds used
T'Challa was somewhat surprised that someone could keep up with his sister and surprise her a little
But he, like the others, ignored the two teenagers and focused on the screen.
The next scene was of two men walking out of the jewelry ceiling door with bags of jewelry draped over their shoulders.
"What did I tell you? A getaway jumps to the next building and we're a million dollars richer," the man in a green-striped shirt told his partner.
"This isn't a million-dollar haul. Not after the Big-man takes his part," said the other with a frown
"Oh, shut up and jump."
The companion jumped over the ledge, but it wasn't fast enough. A line of web connected to his back and pulled him back before catching him.
"Oh, no. Not again," said the man in the green striped shirt as he tried to shield his eyes from the bright light above him, which was a light emitted from Spider-Man's belt.
"Yes, again. How many are... Marco?, Is it the third time this summer?
"Just wait until I get my hands on you, insect," complained the one who was wrapped in a spider's web
"Third time," repeated some like Steve, wondering if the security of the prison was not enough or if somehow these individuals managed to avoid the prison
"Okay Marco, now tell me... is the new spider sign too much?... It's the first night I've tried it and I'm not sure if it says 'your friendly neighbor, Spider-man'" Spider-man said as he dodged the bag of jewels with which Marco tried to hit him in the head, before throwing a spider web at the other bag of jewels and pulling it, hitting Marco in the back, making him fall to the ground with a grunt of pain "I mean, like a guy with a lot of experience being beaten by... Well... me... I really appreciate your opinion" He said as he tied Marco's hands and feet with spider web.
"He should take it more seriously," Bucky said
"I think it's more important and concerning that it's a teenager who stops criminals" Rogers said.
The scene zoomed out to show that what everyone had just watched was a stream from a laptop. None could tell who was looking at him, but they saw a man in a blue suit with a red tie and what appeared to be metal knuckles.
"Is this a live broadcast?" Said the man on the other side of the table.
"It is, boss"
"Then I've seen enough. Summon the Executors"
"They're on their way."
"But what kind of troubles can the boy get into?" Clint exclaimed in disbelief at the turn of events regarding the boy's counterpart.
"Has the boy made anyone angry yet?" Rhodey asked Tony, as he looked at the teen boy
"I have no idea" Stark responded, but he was also looking towards Parker who was still talking to the princess of Wakanda.
If Fury didn't have an image to maintain, he would have a facepalm at the proof that the boy was the son of Richard Parker and Mary Parker, instead he just pinched the bridge of his nose.
"You have to keep an eye on him," Wanda said to the others, who didn't answer but agreed
As for the screen, it changed to show a new day where the counterpart of Peter Parker was donning his gray long-sleeved shirt over his Spider-Man suit.
"I've never been so excited for the first day of school. Because today everything changes" thought Peter
"Are we listening to his thoughts?" said a surprised Wanda.
"So we didn't hear him speak before," said Sam "or was he speaking out loud"
"If it was his thoughts, it's troubling how anyone has the way to know," Fury said, reminding everyone that they still didn't know who brought them to this place, or how they/he/she/it did it
The audience saw him walk down the stairs quietly and crouch down when he heard the voice of an older woman talking to someone
"It's not getting any easier, Anna. I hardly have any money," said the woman while she drank from a hot cup.
"But May, I'm sure Ben left you a lot"
"Ben Parker was many, many wonderful things. But he wasn't a financial wizard" She paused for a moment to sigh" I miss him so much"
The audience was somewhat confused with what they were seeing, as well as feeling that they were seeing something personal from a family, only Tony could recognize the older woman, and he was surprised as the May Parker he met is younger, while in the screen Peter was hidden against the wall, where a picture of him could be seen pasted, with a slightly younger version of him next to an older man
Now that Peter's face was clearly shown, everyone noticed that that Peter Parker only looked like the boy who was with them, he wasn't identical, but he could pass for a cousin or a brother
Clint couldn't help but feel that the boy seemed somewhat familiar again as he was comparing him to the one on the screen.
"May!" said Peter surprised as he turned his attention to the screen, noticing that his aunt's counterpart looked at least 20 years older, that like his counterpart she was not physically identical, some of her physical features were different, but the voice was almost the same, only she sounded older just like she was an old woman.
"Who is she?" asked Shuri. "Your grandmother?"
"She's my aunt, but she's not even 50!" Peter clarified, still surprised by his aunt's appearance on the screen
"He's too trusting with people" Bucky said to the ease with which the boy gave information and the others agreed, but also several of them wondered why he lived with his aunt
"At least we know we're not seeing the future," Rhodey said, since most of them didn't know any information about Peter Parker's relatives, with the exception of Fury and Tony, who were the only ones who had noticed that
"But I'm not complaining, we'll manage. And please not a word of this to Peter. I don't want him to worry"
Peter peeks around the corner before taking a few steps back to pretend to go downstairs
"Hello, Aunt May... How is the most beautiful girl in Forest Hills this morning?" the brown-haired teen greeted, kissing his aunt on the cheek, who laughed at his greeting
"Oh, Peter" May smiled amusedly as she handed him a bag of lunch "Now hurry up. You don't want to be late on the first day"
"No, ma'am," the boy replied as he opened the door, at the same time his face changed to that of one of concern
"He's going to find a way to help her," Wanda said as everyone watched the camera change to show a company called OsCorp
Only for the image to change to show a bald man around his 50s or maybe older yelling at another short man wearing glasses and recoiling with every word.
"I blame you for this. You told me to take my magnetic air transport system to OsCorp!"
"I know, but-" the man with glasses tried to speak, but the other man who pointed his finger at him wouldn't let him
"You arranged the meeting with Norman Osborn, Octavius!"
"And I-I-I had the me-me-best intentions" Octavius stammered as he walked down the stairs with his back turned to get away from the other man.
"He studied my ideas and rejected them. Then he announces OsCorp's tec flight, four months later!
None of the spectators took long to realize what the bald man was demanding and the lovers of science and technology could not help but feel upset by what happened, but by the theft
Pleading Octavius spoke, "I'm so-so-sorry, Adrian."
"Don't you dare apologize, doctor. OsCorp has nothing to apologize for..."
Another man's voice was heard before he was shown, as he entered with security guards
"So here's the thief," Shuri commented.
"Nothing to apol... Osborn, you stole my job!" said the man known as Adrian
"That's dangerous talk, Mr. Toomes. Dangerous and unbearable. Listen, old buzzard. You've been at this for decades without a single accomplishment to your name. If you never achieved anything when you were young... Who will believe that you created flight-tech when you are old?" replied Norman Osborn, pushing Toomes towards his guards "Gentlemen, show Mr. Toomes the exit"
Toomes looks at Octavius to say, "Good news, I don't blame you anymore," before turning to face Osborn, who blew on his nails with a smile on his face.
"I'm not the only one who dislikes it, am I?" said Lang
"No," several of the others replied to Norman Osborn, while the screen showed a high school where they saw the name "Midtown Manhattan High School," where Peter was entering
As for May and Ben Barker's nephew, he's surprised at how different his school was in that universe.
"Alright, the Parkers are desperate for money, but I won't let that ruin this moment," Peter thought before he heard the voice of another teenager, a redhead boy
"Hi, Peter," the redhead said as he approached with a blonde girl with glasses
"She's cute" Peter thought as he saw the blonde girl on the screen, only to realize a few seconds later than he thought
While most other viewers noted the resemblance between the red-haired boy and Norman Osborn
"Harry, Gwen. How did your summer go?
"Science camp was fun," Gwen said
"Well, she's not your typical teenage girl," Tony said of the blonde teenager on screen, before thinking that maybe the boy's confidence could be improved if he dated a girl like that or at least helped the boy stop being so nervous.
"What are you thinking, Tony?" asked Rhodey, noticing that his friend was looking between the screen and the teen boy who had been talking to the princess of Wakanda
"That if the boy gets a girlfriend, maybe he'll give up being a superhero," Tony responded.
"Tony, for whatever you want... don't act like Dr. Heart," said the air force soldier, knowing that his friend was not telling him everything, in addition to thinking that this idea was one of his best friend's craziest.
But War Machine was not the only one who listened to Stark, and the others thought very similarly to Rhodey.
"Yeah, well, the world tour sucked. My dad spent the entire trip locked in the meeting rooms. So I spent mine locked in boredom. I should have spent the summer with you, Peter. At least we would have done something together," Harry said before acquiring a joking look at his friend. "But now we're back." So... are you ready for the torture that is M cubed?"
But Peter had turned to see a blonde girl who was talking to other girls and some of the school's jocks who was sitting in the fountain in the schoolyard
"It's going to be different now."
"Well, he's not quite the same boy," Falcon commented, noticing that the counterpart on the screen sounded more confident in the short time they had seen him as opposed to the Parker in the room, who was surprised by his other self
Of the others, some nodded their heads in agreement or said, "It seems so."
"Really? Because you spent half your sophomore year stuck in a locker" Harry said only to see Peter walk away. "Where are you going?"
Peter approached the girl he saw before while mentally encouraging himself.
"What is... ah... is he going... to... ?" Harry said incredulously.
"I... I think... so" Gwen responded in the same situation.
Peter's eyes and mouth were open with surprise at seeing his counterpart go talk to the girl he likes, because he himself would never dare, he didn't trust himself enough, especially when he realized that said girl seemed to be one of the popular people in high school.
"He's more confident than you are at his age, Steve," Bucky said in a small mockery of his best friend, who agreed, but Rogers also felt that the brown-haired teen had more of a chance than he did at that age.
"If he can do it, so can you," Lang told the teenager, who was still very surprised and it could be clearly seen in his face.
"No fear of success," Tony and Sam joked (to their surprise) before everyone heard a woman's scream
