I don't own Disney's The Owl House. I do, however own the OC known as Danielle Hopkins. Hope you all enjoy my story on this lovely show.
Chapter Twenty-Eight
It has been a few days since the Selkidomus hunt, and tying Danielle in her room to recover and rest. Luz by then had started up a magic boot camp so Lilith could start using glyph magic. It was taking longer than they thought for their memories to catch up. Today though, was turning out to be good.
"Light in the darkness, a glittering bridge of ice, the mightiest tree in the forest!" said Luz, setting off the basic glyphs. "You can make all these, and more, with glyph magic! Welcome to day three of Luz's magic boot camp!"
"… …" said Danielle, slamming the front door open. "Look I'm rested and fully recovered. Don't leave me out of something important."
"How'd you…" said Luz, wondering how Danielle got out of her binds. "Never mind. Okay, we have covered every glyph we've learned up until now. So today, we'll learn something new."
"Are we about to encounter a never-before-seen glyph?" asked Lilith, staring at Luz.
"Un... fortunately no," said Luz, looking at Lilith. "I think we're stuck in our glyph combos. The more complex ones are eluding us at the certain moment. In any case, today we're learning how to alter glyphs to do specific things!"
"Miss teacher, did I do it right?" asked Lilith, holding up a diagram of ice glyphs.
"You've taken to these lessons really well," said Danielle, looking at Lilith.
"Yeah! That's really good!" said Luz, looking at Lilith. "Let's see how you're doing, Eda."
"Interesting," said Danielle, seeing what Eda was doing.
"Earth and two Lights," said Eda, before activating the Glyph Combo. "And go!"
"… …," said Danielle and Luz, wondering what the glyph combo did.
The Glyph combo was pretty simple. The Earth Glyph was the base with the two Light Glyphs surrounding it.
"The Arcane Barrier Glyph," said Aster, recognizing the glyph combo. "It absorbs magical attacks, deflect them, and even reflect them back at the caster. It's also invisible."
"Aw yeah, I'm that amazing," said Eda, cheering.
"It would be neat if you could find and add time to it," said Aster, still staring at the glyph combo. "You could do more stuff in a day without even breaking a sweat."
"Temporal barriers," said Danielle, ideas forming. "We could train for years in a single second. And take Belos down sooner."
"True but like the Teleportation Glyph, it's a complex one," said Aster, looking at Danielle. "It also consumes a lot of magic and needs to be precise magic control which we don't have right now."
"How precise with magic control are we talking?" asked Luz, looking at Aster.
"That it barely feels like you're using magic at all," replied Aster, looking at Luz. "It's still way out of my league."
"Toot toot! The Hexside train is a-coming!" said Hooty, grabbing the girls by the hood. "Chugga-chugga!"
"Uh okay, uh, King's in charge while we're gone," said Luz, as Hooty dragged her and Danielle away. "Bye!"
"Okay, I know I don't have any of my memories back but…" said Danielle, curling in on herself. "I feel like I've been owl pelleted right now."
"Maybe Hooty did it to you on your run," said Luz, as Hooty dropped them off outside Hexside.
"What?" said Aster, before glaring at Hooty. "Never owl pellet the princess!"
"We ever gonna learn what Hooty is?" asked Luz, looking at Danielle.
"Do we even wanna?" said Danielle, looking at Luz than Hooty wiggling back towards the Owl House, making the girls shudder.
"Annoying back then, annoying now," said Aster, as the girls walked into Hexside. "Seriously, those parasytes still creep me out."
"Okay, first day back after the petrification ceremony. Just be chill," said Luz, before seeing Willow and Gus. "Oh my gosh!"
"Luz! Danielle!" said Gus, running over with Willow. "You're okay!"
"Whoa, Gus!" said Luz, noticing that Gus was taller. "Did I uh, miss a birthday or something?"
"Witch puberty," replied Gus, shrugging. "And apparently Danielle as well."
"Yeah," said Danielle, scratching the back of her head. "I may have gained an inch in height since the petrification ceremony."
"Your human parts aren't holding that part back anymore," said Aster, looking at Danielle. "Still on the petite side though."
"Petite? Mom was considered tall back home," said Danielle, looking at Aster. "What's considered tall for mom's race?"
"Six foot five inches and up," replied Aster, looking at Danielle.
"Whoa," said Danielle, paling a bit. "I don't need to be that tall. I'd be considered an amazon. No thanks."
"Hey, Luz," said Amity, walking over. "Hey, Danielle."
"Lumity," thought Danielle, mentally chucklingly.
"Amity!" said Luz, looking at Amity.
"In celebration of your return, I've brought you a homemade fairy pie," said Amity, holding up said pie.
"Oh, wow! That sounds so…" said Luz, disgusted as she sees the fairies twitch in the pie. "...Good..."
"Did Luz just lie?" asked Aster, whispering to Danielle.
"More like she was caught off guard," replied Danielle, whispering back.
"Here," said Amity, holding out another pie. "I made one for you as well."
"Oh, you didn't have to," said Danielle, as Amity placed the pie in her hand. "Really, you didn't have to."
"Is it suppose to twitch?" asked Aster, staring at the pie.
"The ingredients are... very fresh," replied Amity, blushing while looking at Luz.
"You're not really gonna eat that, are you?" asked Aster, whispering to Danielle.
"I don't want to hurt Amity's feelings so…" said Danielle, gulping. "I'm gonna have ta. Let's just hope it tastes better than my gramma's eggplant lasagna."
"You know, after everything that's happened, I'm just happy to return to some sense of normalcy," said Luz, before hearing the intercom go off.
"You can't just barge in here!" said Principal Bump, talking back to Odalia as she and Alador entered his office.
"Yes, we can. We are the Parent Creature Association," said Odalia, before speaking through the intercom. "Luz Noceda, Danielle Hopkins, Willow Park and Augustus Porter, report to Principal Bump's office now! And you too, Amity."
"Mom?!" said Amity, shocked.
"This can't be good," said Danielle, as everyone walked towards the principal's office. "Remember what caused this possibly the first time."
"No, my memories haven't caught up to now," said Amity, before seeing the principal's office.
"Willow," said Danielle, looking towards Willow.
"It's kinda fuzzy," said Willow, looking at Danielle. "But it kinda looks like us sneaking into Hexside?"
"… …" said Danielle and Luz, staring at each other concerned.
Entering the principal's office, everyone is ushered to sit. Odalia was pacing about, studying the teens and her daughter in front of her. Alador though was being himself, studying Frewin.
"Someone been hitting the jelly donuts," said Danielle, whispering to Luz, making her giggle.
"The abomination situation, the destruction of detention, the rampage of grom," said Odalia, staring at the teens. "These are but a few of the incidents that have endangered Hexside students, including our daughter. So, the PCA has decided to..."
"Oh, right," said Alador, after Odalia gained his attention. "Um, these four are bad influences and must be executed."
"Don'tcha mean…" said Danielle, seeing where this was going and gulping. "Expelled."
"Ah, yeah, expelled," said Alador, before going back to studying Frewin.
"I may have not had the time to fully read the PCA guidelines," said Danielle, staring at Odalia. "But that doesn't warrant expulsion. No one got hurt during grom except me and Luz, the detention pit was a miscalculation as not all the banned posters were completely burned, and the abomination incident was Luz and me trying to help Willow here get on the track she deserved to be on."
"Ah, you're the witch hunter I've heard about, and from what I heard a half witch as well," said Odalia, eyeing Danielle. "Even more reason for… Alador!"
"Witch hunter… half witch… hmm," said Alador, studying Danielle up close as he examines her.
"Uh… hi… Wha-aah!" screamed Danielle, as Alador was about to pull the back of her collar down before being grabbed and flipped over onto the floor. "Thank heaven for those self-defense classes."
"Hands off of…" said Aster, glaring at Alador and catching himself in time. "Danielle."
"Take this as a lesson, mittens," said Odalia, speaking through telepathy through Amity's necklace from her own. "A Blight always upholds their end of the deal."
"How is this a lesson?" asked Aster, able to hear the telepathy talk. "It just sounds like you're bullying your own daughter."
"Why you little…" said Odalia, red in the face from anger.
"Sadly, I have no choice in the matter. Luz, Danielle. Willow, Augustus, effective immediately you are no longer students of Hexside," said Principal Bump, staring at the kids. "Though I already know this will rise the ire's of certain people."
"They have no say in what the PCA does," said Odalia, glaring at Principal Bump.
"You'll have an uprising at your front door if this keeps up," said Danielle, glaring at Odalia.
"Is that a threat?" asked Odalia, glaring at Danielle.
"You're trying to expel students for no other reasons than being friends with Amity," said Danielle, standing up.
"Guards!" shouted Odalia, getting the attention of the school guards. "Get these students out of here!"
"Whaa-aah!" said Luz, as the guards hooked her, Willow, Gus and Danielle. "Too far Danielle."
"I was trying to stand up to her. Odalia was using her position…" said Danielle, before deeply sighing. "But now this could end up hurting Amity. Dangit, what did I just do? Sorry guys."
"It's okay," said Luz, as they were tossed out the doors of Hexside. "You were only doing what you felt right. I probably would have too."
"Why not just sneak into that secret room you two mentioned?" asked Aster, looking at Danielle and Luz.
"That would be good," said Danielle, looking at Aster. "But it's getting to those secret entrances without getting caught and exposing them."
"It finally happened! Our memorable adventures caught up to us. Oh, my dad can't find out about this!" said Gus, as they finally step out of the school. "I guess I'll have to start surviving off the land. Ah! This is impossible!"
"I guess this is goodbye. I'll water you one last time... with my tears!" said Willow, hugging a tree.
"This is not goodbye," said Danielle, looking towards Hexside. "We're getting back in. Luz?"
"Hey!" said Luz, walking over to Odalia. "How dare you mess with my friends' lives! What have we ever done to you?"
"Luz, was it? Please, this isn't personal," said Odalia, staring at Luz. "I actually appreciate your tenacity. We're just trying to teach our daughter a valuable lesson in business."
"Personal, my foot," said Danielle, only for Luz to hold her back.
"How does this teach anything? We're still gonna be friends with her," said Luz, staring at Odalia. "I'm calling applesauce on this business baloney!"
"Your human language is hard to understand, but I think I see your point," said Odalia, taking a card from her pocket.
"Nie jesteś dobry..." said Danielle, getting heated.
"Ah! Danielle, no!" said Aster, covering his ears. "I can understand other languages."
"… … …" said Danielle, paling before looking at Aster. "Sorry."
"If you're interested in talking things through, I'm sure we can come to some sort of an agreement," said Odalia, handing the card over to Luz.
"Pfft," said Danielle, looking away. "Talk things through, yeah right."
"Gus chomp!" said Gus, grabbing the card with his mouth and chewing it.
"Come on, Luz, Danielle," said Willow, gesturing Danielle and Luz away. "We can figure this out on our own."
"That's right, we'll get back into Hexside or die trying!" said Gus, as he spat the card out.
"No one's dying," said Willow, looking at Gus.
"Not with that attitude," said Gus, walking alongside Willow.
"Yes, well, when that doesn't work, you know where to find us," said Odalia, pushing Alador along with her.
"I'd wash your mouth out if I was you Gus," said Danielle, looking at Gus. "Who knows where that has been."
"Wait…" said Luz, thinking back to the mind dive into Danielle's mind. "I think I remember seeing Alador within Danielle's mind that day."
"Meaning Alador is someone we can trust," said Danielle, looking at Luz. "But Odalia has him wrapped around her pinky right now."
"Well, let's see what we can do for now," said Luz, looking at Danielle.
As they were planning, Principal Bump was watching from the window with a smile on his face. Principal Bump was looking forward to seeing how they'd sneak back in. Remembering every hidden entrance to the secret room, Danielle and Luz draw up the plan on the ground. Pointing to each hidden entrance, they all decided to split up and take on the hidden entrances they could sneak into. Willow had it easy as one was basically in a tree and just slipped on through straight to the secret room.
Luz's first attempt didn't work. Beast Keeping was having their lesson outdoor today and with Puddles noticing her… there was a little chase going on before Luz was caught and licked by Puddles. Danielle's first attempt was as bad as Luz's. Danielle had tried to climb down a vine only to meet an end with pitcher like plant secreting oozing acids below her. Danielle paled before climbing back up with Aster reassuring her. Gus though easily hid himself under an illusion that made him invisible and was able sneak his way in after making sure Yellow Fang left the area. Second attempt for Danielle was going invisible much like Gus but regretted it after seeing male students taking off their shirts near the gym lockers. Aster ended up shielding her eyes before Danielle banged her head against the wall frustrated. As for Luz, second attempt was successful. Jerbo was nearby and used his plant magic to encase Luz in a flower and form inside the secret shortcut where Willow and Gus encased her in a hug immediately.
Third attempt for Danielle was one she regretted. Abomination goo galore was all over the place as she crawled through and hid in abomination goo just to reach the hidden entrance. Shuddering as she stepped through the entrance, Danielle sees the others before the abomination goo on her encased everyone and spat them outside.
"You got to be…" said Danielle, before mentally screaming.
"That's Bump's abomination goo, isn't it," said Luz, wiping some off.
"Commendable," said Principal Bump, from the window. "Life is never dull with you two around. But…"
"Then let us back in," said Danielle, staring at Principal Bump.
"Ah, this is hopeless!" said Gus, pacing about. "Nothing is working!"
"Oh no," said Willow, a crow phone landing on her head.
"Willow Park, did you get expelled?!" asked Willow's Papa, from the crow phone.
"This is Perry Porter with breaking news," said Perry, another crow phone landing on Gus's head. "In light of recent events, Augustus Porter will be… grounded for a week."
"That's not as bad as I thought," said Gus, staring at the crow phone.
"I have my memories," said Perry, whispering. "But you're still grounded."
"You're letting him off too easy Perry," said Willow's Papa, with an edge to his voice. "Willow's grounded for three years at least!"
"No, ah!" said Willow, being lifted up by crow phone. "Help, Danielle! Help, Luz!"
"Now hold on minute," shouted Danielle, as she grabs the crow phone. "The only reason this happened is because…"
"Stay out of this!" shouted Willow's Papa, angry. "Willow, you're getting enrolled into Glandus under the Abomination track. You should have never left it in the first place."
"What? Wait, no!" shouted Willow, as the crow phone flew away with her.
"No! Willow!" shouted Danielle, running after Willow alongside Gus and Luz. "This can't be happening. Willow doesn't even like that track."
"Sounds like Willow's Papa is a bully," said Collector, seeing Willow out of sight.
"I better get going," said Gus, holding the crow phone as he walks away.
"Now what," said Danielle, slumping to the ground before Luz showed her Odalia's card. "You've got to be kidding… … … fine."
"Hey Amity," said Aster, seeing Amity walk by.
"Hey," said Amity, a little down. "I'm uh... I'm sorry, I was a coward in there. But my mom…"
"Hey, I get it. You're scared of her, but I'm not, and I need you to take us to her," said Luz, looking at Amity. "She seemed open to talking things through."
"But at what cost?" thought Danielle, mentally sighing.
"No, no, Luz, Danielle, you two don't have to do that," said Amity, losing her hold on her books.
"Yes, we do. Willow and Gus don't deserve this," said Luz, picking up the books. "So, will you help us, please?"
"I... I can't," replied Amity, before hearing the school bell ring. "I have to go"
"Wait," said Danielle, setting off a Plant Glyph to make a purple leaf bag. "Here, to carry your books."
"Thanks," said Amity, stuffing her books in before leaving.
"Is your relationship between with your grampa…" said Luz, looking at Danielle.
"There may be similarities but I still love and respect him," said Danielle, sighing.
Heading back to the Owl House for a bit, the girls leave Aster with Eda and King. Afterwards, the girls started heading towards Blight Manor. Trying to calm herself, Danielle stares at Blight Manor as she and Luz stood at the doorway. Grabbing some flowers from the bushes, Luz presses the doorbell only for an Abomination butler to answer not long later.
"Fanciest looking place on the isles so far," said Danielle, before fixing the bow on the Abomination butler into a necktie.
"And smells a lot more better than the Owl House," said Luz, changing the necktie on the Abomination butler back into a bow and making its face cat like.
"Mr. and Mrs. Blight… you here? Ew," said Danielle, as they descended the stairs.
"Oh, don't mind him, dear. He's getting ready for our big demonstration tonight," said Odalia, before looking at her husband. "It's looking good, hon!"
"We're here to appeal to your hearts, Blights!" said Luz, staring at Odalia.
"Keep it cool, keep it cool," thought Danielle, keeping herself calm down.
"That's sweet, but let's get to the deal," said Odalia, holding a cup of tea. "We have a rather important presentation tonight showing off some new products."
"Like, abominations?" asked Luz, watching Alador walk by with an abomination head.
"And this is why I can't handle medical shows," said Danielle, going green in the face.
"Something like that," said Odalia, tracing the rim of the teacup. "Normally Amity helps us with these things, but she's busy catching up on schoolwork."
"I get it," said Luz, looking at Odalia. "We'll help you show off your weird abomination gunk if you promise to let me, Danielle and my friends back into school."
"Don't worry, human," said Odalia, looking at Luz and Danielle. "A Blight always upholds their end of the deal. Now, you might want to go get ready, because we have..."
Day turns to night as Odalia lead them to the factory for the presentation. The girls were wondering what was being presented. Danielle was taking calming breaths to keep herself in check. The curtains rise as Odalia starts her spiel.
"A long night ahead of us folks! Welcome back to Blight Industries!" said Odalia, staring at the crowd of people.
"So, Alador, what would you say is the specialty of Blight Industries?" asked Luz, looking at Alador.
"We make a variety of abomination-based accessories for home security," replied Alador, looking at the girls.
"These look more like weapons," said Danielle, staring at the products. "I don't think Belos will take to kindly that a private army is being constructed under his nose."
"She's got a point," thought Alador, walking off stage. "Might want to duck."
"Aah!" said Danielle and Luz, getting struck to the wall, courtesy of abomination goo being shot at them.
"Again with the yuzu lip gloss," said Luz, pulling away from Danielle.
"It's like the universe wants to embarrass us," said Danielle, wiping her mouth.
"Yes, our sticky launcher can peacefully subdue any foe!" said Odalia, launching another goop of abomination at Danielle and Luz as they simply dodged it. "And, if peaceful isn't your thing..."
"Oh, for the love of all things holy," said Danielle, seeing the launcher become a flamethrower. "Let us survive this."
Demonstration after demonstration were shown. Edric and Emira hightailed it out of there after leaving some cloaks behind for Amity, Willow and Gus and went straight to the Owl House for help. Odalia was furious as the girls kept dodging the onslaught she sent the girls way. Getting heated, Danielle ribbons the launcher towards her and pointing it at the abomination.
"Hasta la vista baby," said Danielle, striking the abomination with the product. "Oh, I'm going to need a shower after all this."
"When don't you," said Luz, wiping abomination goo off.
"Thank you, thank you. And they say said we couldn't make crossbows more fun!" said Odalia, mentally screaming on the inside. "Next, we're very excited to show you our last product from this line."
"Thank goodness, only one more to go," said Luz, only to see Danielle clutching her chest. "Danielle."
"My husband has been toiling away to bring you..." said Odalia, as the new product is lifted on stage. "The Abomaton 2.0!"
"Oh, my lanta!" said Danielle, staring at the Abomaton. "We're screwed."
"It's bigger! It's better! The Abomaton 2.0 is the perfect soldier," said Odalia, walking in front of the Abomaton. "It won't rest until its enemy is completely eliminated!"
"You're a big boy, aren't ya?" said Luz, staring at the Abomaton.
"Let's da…" said Danielle, before doubling over in pain.
"Okay! It's super strong!" said Luz, as the Abomaton grabbed her and Danielle by the leg. "I think the crowd gets it!"
"She has a point, Odalia," said Alador, looking at Odalia.
"Didn't you hear me human and witch hunter?" asked Odalia, walking forward. "It won't rest until its enemy is completely eliminated!"
"This factory will be destroyed if Danielle loses it," thought Luz, before being flung into the air with Danielle. "Got'cha. Hold on, Danielle. I got this."
"She definitely wants to see us suffer," said Danielle, opening her eyes slightly.
Trying to think, Luz sets off a Plant Glyph to secure Danielle to her back. Seeing the Abomaton flying nearby, Luz runs while setting off a Lightning Glyph to bind the Abomaton in an electric net. Losing some of its form, the Abomaton is able to pull itself back together a little. Sending multiple electric nets towards the Abomaton, Luz utilizes the time to set off a Plant Glyph to descend only to be pulled back up. Grabbing a Fire Glyph, Luz sets off a stream of fire that causes an explosion when the Abomaton sends another blast towards her. Falling towards the floor, Luz sees that a sparkly wind had encased her and realizes Danielle's magic had flared up to save them.
"Ah! Hey! We're alive!" said Luz, landing before the Abomaton grabbed them. "Oh, no. We're dead! Huh?"
"Hey!" said Amity, gaining everyone's attention. "Stay away from my Luz! And Danielle too!"
"Amity?" said Danielle, leaning her head up some.
"Amity?" said Luz, looking at Amity with a surprised expression.
"Amity Blight, you are in so much troub…" said Odalia, only to see Amity destroy her own necklace.
"Luz," said Amity, staring back at Luz. "Are you…"
"Danielle is really not okay," said Luz, before gasping. "Look out!"
"Amity!" shouted Odalia, staring at Amity. "Get away from that witch hunter and human!"
"No, you're gonna listen to me for once. Luz, Danielle, Willow and Gus are my friends!" said Amity, forcing the Abomaton back. "They're nice to each other, they listen to each other. They make me think about the kind of person I really want to be!"
"Ugh! What do you want?!" asked Odalia, angry as she sees her sells dropping.
"Let my friends back into Hexside, or else your precious investors will watch me rip this thing apart bit. By. Bit," replied Amity, glaring at Odalia.
"Can you actually do that?" asked Luz, whispering to Amity.
"Shhh," said Amity, hushing Luz.
"Fine! It's a deal!" said Odalia, groaning as her sells continue dropping. "Just stop with the theatrics!"
"Amity… wait…" said Danielle, seeing Amity lower her spell and allowing the Abomaton to attack. "… …"
"Luz!" shouted Willow, running over with Gus. "Danielle!"
"As if I'd actually let them go back! I will call every authority I know! I'll make sure they can't…" said Odalia, only for Alador to cut her off.
"Odalia!" said Alador, gaining Odalia's attention. "You made a deal with your daughter…"
"(I've had enough)" said Danielle, eyes aglow and blasting the vines off her and speaking an unknown language. "(ENOUGH!)"
"Not… good…" said Luz, covering her ears.
Turns out, her mom's language had an effect on mortals. Just simply speaking it made everyone in the factory hold their ears before passing out. Looking around, Danielle went wild on the abominations after she had put a barrier around her friends. Slashing, dicing, burning, just about everything Danielle could think off in her wild state. A blur wiz by, stopping Danielle from causing further destruction.
"Danielle, stop!" shouted Eda, grabbing Danielle's wrist. "That's enough."
"(No, it's…)" said Danielle, as Aster gets between her and Eda.
"Danielle, stop! Please!" said Aster, as Danielle softens up a little.
"Aster," said Danielle, looking at Aster.
"The people down here can't handle our language. It makes them pass out," said Aster, looking at Danielle, worried and concerned. "So please, calm down."
"But… Odalia… (army)… (abominations)…" said Danielle, breathing heavy before teetering than passing out in Eda's arms.
"Okay, it's time to get these two back to the Owl House," said Eda, getting the girls onto her staff.
"I'll let the Parks and Mr. Porter know that Gus and Willow are spending the night with you," said Edric, looking at Eda. "Emira, could…"
"Start up Lumity by letting Amity stay as well," said Emira, carrying Amity to her staff. "On it."
"I'll handle Willow and Augustus," said Lilith, situating the two on her staff.
After making sure everyone was situated, the Clawthorne sisters and Emira head straight towards the Owl House. But not before a Spectral Alador came off Danielle and headed towards the actual Alador. Edric went straight to letting the Parks and Mr. Porter now that their kids were sleeping over at the Owl House. Harvey Parks, Willow's Papa, was furious with what Willow did. Landing outside the Owl House, Luz stirs awake.
"Why is the Owl House sparkling?" asked Luz, staring at the Owl House.
"…" said Hooty, coughing up some sparkles.

"What you working on there Stars?" asked Eda, staring at Aster.
"A glyph combo I remember," replied Aster, glad that Danielle showed Eda how to use the Light Glyph so he can actually do things.
"Ooh-hoo-hoo," said King, watching Aster draw the glyph combo. "What's it do?"
"Time to clean," said Aster, about to activate the glyph combo.
"Eda!" shouted Emira and Edric, slamming the front door open.
"Wait, stop," said Eda, as Aster set off the glyph combo.
The glyph combo was pretty simple. Ice, Light and Fire were used in it. A sparkling mist exploded inside and outside the Owl House. After it settled down, the whole Owl House and its inhabitants were sparkly clean and smelled of… lavender. Eda and Lilith's eyes were twitching in annoyance.
"There we go. Nice and clean," said Aster, looking around the house. "Seriously, do you not know how to clean properly? This place was filthy. Besides, the smell of lavender is calming and soothing."
"Warn us next time," said Eda, waving some sparkles away before noticing Emira and Edric. "What are you two…"
"Danielle and Luz need help," said Emira and Edric, staring at Eda. "Mom is having them do the presentation…"
"Move! Move!" said Eda, grabbing the bag holding the tablet.
Mounting their staffs, the Clawthorne sisters with the Blight Twins, Aster and King head towards Blight Industries. By the time they got there, it was already witnessing a war zone.
Owl Pellet #52
Bangs galore were heard in the woods near the Owl House. Startled by such noises, everyone goes outside in a panic wondering what the terrifying weird noise was coming from. Luz however recognized the bangs as the sound of a gun.
"You are my new best friend," said Danielle, cradling a gun.
"Danielle, the heck?!" said Luz, disturbed. "Where'd you find a gun?"
"Found it in the basement within Eda's junk," replied Danielle looking at Luz. "There were no rounds so I thought to make ones out of magic."
"How do you even know how to use one?" asked Luz, backing away.
"I don't," replied Danielle, looking at Luz. "I've played with water guns when I was little so I thought how different could it be."
"I think that's the difference," said Luz, pointing at the devastation.
Bullseyes on trees were literally flaming. Some were basically sliced like it was hit by a blade of wind. There was a literal small crater in the ground. And much more done around the vicinity.
"Alright, hand it over," said Eda, holding her hand out.
"But… fine," said Danielle, handing the gun over to Eda.
"Aah!" shouted Eda, as the gun was blazing hot. "Hot hot hot-hot-hot!"
"Looks like your magic overheated this so-called gun," said Aster, as Eda dropped the gun on the ground. "This is why control, focus and concentration is key towards controlling your magic."
"Yes, Aster-sensei," said Danielle, sighing.
Owl Pellet #53
"And you tell me to turn my cell off," said Luz, grumbling while trying to sleep.
"You're doing pretty well with your first video game Aster," said Danielle, as Aster sat in her lap while playing on his new Gameboy Color (Grape).
"Yes, I am," said Aster, staring at the game screen. "Oo, what do I do against this enemy?"
"First the beast either spits a barrage of homing fireballs or lunges," replied Danielle, as Aster had paused the game. "It's a complicated battle for so early in the game. If you move to far left, you'll have to start…"
"Luz!" said Aster, as Luz threw a pillow at Danielle which landed on his head. "Danielle was trying to help me beat the Hydra."
