*A/N – Hello everyone, hope you're all doing good. Thanks for all the reviews. They're really fun to read. With the story going in a solid direction, expect a whole lot more chaos to ensue now that Mugino has met Kamijou. Things will definitely get hectic. Academy City is soon going to be a warzone.

With that out of the way, take care, and hope you have a good day/night, and stay tuned for more to come.

Standing there in the empty alleyway, Touma was in a rut. Scratch that, he was stuck facing a brick wall. And that brick wall happened to be a tea-colored girl.

The mysterious girl was there in front of him while asking if she could have a *little* chat. If the circumstances were different and she wasn't a suspicious person, then maybe he would consider going somewhere for a chat. Though that never ended up being a good thing. But seeing that there was something different with this girl, Touma was walking on a tight rope. He would need to go about this carefully.

"Listen, I'm all for talking things out, but that's when I at least know the other person's name. If you want to have a chat, then could you at least tell me your name?" Touma asked, hoping to get something out of this girl.

Staring at Touma with an irritated expression, Mugino was trying to keep her composure and not scare him away. Otherwise, she'd have to take him down by shooting at his legs and get her answers that way.

"…Mugino. And that's all you're going to get" the tea-colored girl now known as Mugino replied.

"Alright then, Mugino. Seeing that you somehow already know my name. Why exactly do you want to have a little chat? I doubt this boring Kamijou-san is someone you'd take an interest in" Touma said, analyzing the girl's behavior.

"Or… maybe you're looking for someone that I might know and could lend you their contact info. It's gotta be something simple like that, right? Maybe you are friends with one of the girls in my class, and you're here to kick my ass for spying on her. Before you go to attack me, just know that it was my idiotic friends that played a prank on me, and they left me in the girls' locker room while locking the door and leaving me to fend for myself. It was all a misunderstanding!" Touma added, raising his hands up in an *I did nothing wrong* way.

Mugino remained silent as she felt a wave of anger course through her body. This guy was a complete and utter dumbass and he was pushing her to her limit. If he says anything else that's sublimely stupid, then she'll drop the calm act and begin blasting this bastard.

"You're a person of interest, Kamijou. That's all there really is" Mugino said, narrowing her gaze on the spiky-haired boy.

"A person of interest? I don't think we've ever met before?" Touma questioned.

"Trust me. We haven't" Mugino angrily replied.

"I see… but that still doesn't explain what's going on now? How do you know my name and why are you asking to talk with me? Were you waiting for me at the school? How much do you know about me? Are you a debt collector?! This doesn't make any sense!" Touma asked, scratching his head.

"…" Mugino said nothing.

Silence filled the alleyway. Mugino had had enough. Her patience was only so thin and Kamijou managed to obliterate it all within a minute of asking bat shit stupid questions. The chat that Mugino proposed was one of… slight calmness and cooperation. Now, however, Kamijou just dumped that idea down the drain with his stupidity.

"Uhm… Mugino. Is everything ok? You haven't said anything for a minute" Touma said, not sure what was going on with the girl. Which heightened his worries.

"Alright, Kamijou…Here's how things are going to play out…" Mugino proclaimed, losing the calm tone of voice she had been presenting.

"Okay…" Touma murmured, now beginning to worry.

"You and I are going to sit down somewhere and *talk* about some things that involve you. I really don't want to spend all day dealing with your shit, and I'm sure you've got other things to do. So, why don't you…" Mugino said before being cut off.

"I think I'll pass," Touma said with such ease as if he wasn't interested in paying her threat any mind.

"…What. What the fuck did you just say?!" Mugino said while she began balling up her fist and calculating how much power she would need to drop this son of a bitch.

"I have no idea who you are, Mugino. But one thing I can say is that you know who I am already" Moving his gaze to quickly notice her bawled-up fist, Touma then looked her in the eye. "I don't know how or why but that doesn't matter. What matters is that you came after me in a public place with people no less" Touma said, staring her down.

"The fuck are you on about?" Mugino asked.

"Whatever problem you have with me… I'm willing to take responsibility for it. As long as other people don't get caught in the crossfire, then maybe we can talk" Touma replied, cautiously watching Mugino and slowly raising his hands.

Mugino was beginning to think that this guy had a screw loose or had a fetish for wanting to play the hero. Then again, in her dreams regarding the bastard, he was always caught in some sort of situation whether it was being burned alive by that priest guy. Or dealing with low-life thugs harassing girls and coming in to save the day. Or even dealing with the Railgun and Accelerator. Kamijou seemed to find a way to involve himself even when it did not concern himself.

Some would classify him as a hero of sorts that managed to save the day. But Mugino saw him in a different light. As a fool wanting to play the hero. Sure, he may have saved the Railgun and her clones from the Level 6 Project and Accelerator. But realistically what happens… when he doesn't get lucky next time? What happens when the hero ends up taking on too much and trying to save everyone else from their problems?

The hero will end up succumbing to the weight on his back and everyone else's problems will fall on top of him. Leaving him broken and most likely dead. This will not only cause problems for everyone involved with him, but those people who thought they could let the hero handle their problems will be back to square one. Stuck trying to solve their own damn problem yet again.

Mugino was beginning to grow irritated and ready to walk away from Kamijou. However, she bit her tongue and decided to keep talking.

"Tch. You're really starting to get on my last nerve Kamijou" Mugino remarked.

"Trust me. I'm not trying to. I just want to make sure that whatever problem you have concerning me stays focused primarily on me and no one else" Touma said, trying to reason with her.

"Fine then. We can keep this little chat just between the two of us. However, answer me this" Ready to start getting answers from him, Mugino started the questioning. "Circumstances led me to do some… homework on you. And what do you think I find?" Mugino asked, her voice becoming loud and sharp.

"Information about me I'm guessing?" Touma asked.

"No shit sherlock. But here's the intriguing part. Most of the information I could dig up on you was just the basic ordinary stuff you can find on practically everyone else. Living address, school records, and personal information" Mugino stated.

Touma however, was beginning to worry about what was going on here. The idea that someone could start looking into who he was. As crazy as the last few weeks had been, Touma realized that he's made many new friends. But at the same time, he's also made many new enemies. Nothing seemed simple any more thanks to the crazy misfortune he found himself involved in both on the magic and science sides of Academy City.

"However, I did find something very interesting regarding you, Kamijou," Mugino said, leaving a tense feeling in the air. "Documents on a couple of incidents that you seem to be heavily involved in"

"What documents?... Oh, no! Did they show you my hospital visits?!" Touma shouted, having the color drain from his face.

"No, you idiot. The documents I found were not related to your hospital visits" Mugino remarked.

Letting out a sigh, Touma was about to say something, but Mugino didn't let him start speaking.

"Does the Sister's Project ring any bells, Kamijou?"

Feeling everything around him slow down, Touma thought he misheard what Mugino said. But when he shifted his eyes to look at hers, he saw a glint in her eye that let him know that he did not mishear her.

After a moment of heavy silence, Touma began to speak up.

"…how do you know about that?"

"Oh, so now the hero starts talking," Mugino said, smirking at how fast his attitude changed. "Well, since I finally have your undivided attention would you care to have that little *chat* now?"

Realizing that Mugino knew about the sisters, it wasn't out of the realm of possibility that she knew about him fighting Accelerator. Once again, Touma was at a loss. He had no idea who this Mugino girl really was and how much she already knew about him. He'll have to be careful.

"Fine. I'll take you up on that talk"

"That's what I like to hear" Flicking her tea-colored hair behind her back, Mugino narrowed her cold gaze onto Touma. "Now then, let's see where we should start. Your involvement in the sisters' project. What was the reason for you getting involved?" Mugino asked, wanting to hear how this idiot became involved in a top-secret project. And how he managed to stop the project in its entirety.

"Shouldn't you already know that? I mean, you already know that I was involved with what happened" Touma asked, not sure what she meant.

Making sure to watch what she said, Mugino didn't want her entire dream fiasco to slip out causing even more confusion. She still had no idea what the hell the dreams meant or why she was having them in the first place. All she knew was that Kamijou was a key figure in the dreams and that he had something to do with it all.

"*sigh* Just answer the damn question. Why did you get yourself involved in the sisters' project?"

Looking down to the side, Touma figured he could talk a little about how he got involved in the whole thing.

"I… things happened, and I ended up coming across one of Misaka's sisters. We hung out for a while, and everything was going well but she disappeared with no warning. I went looking for her and… I found her. Dead from fighting Accelerator" Ruffling his hair, Touma felt weird describing this all to a girl who he just met a few minutes ago. "Soon after, a bunch of Misaka's sisters appeared to clean up the incident. From there, I couldn't stand aside and let something like this go on any longer"

Mugino silently listened to Kamijou tell his story on the whole sisters' project. She hadn't really given her thoughts on the whole Level 6 project. Honestly, it didn't concern her. Sure, the possibility that the number one Level 5 had the chance to reach a level that everyone thought was impossible. But she had come to terms that the higher-ups had their own personal favorite playthings. And she was not any of their favorites. Hell, she was probably considered by those old wrinkly shit bags at the top as expendable or someone to have around to clean up for them. Power and influence were everything in Academy City.

But to hear that Level 6 was a goal the higher-ups had in mind along with the method to go about it. Mugino could only scoff at the aftermath of what happened to the project. And the one to stop the project in its entirety was the boy standing right in front of her.

"After doing some research and looking for Misaka to confront her, I learned of the experiment and how Accelerator wanted to achieve Level 6. I tried stopping Misaka from getting herself killed which her to lash out at me" Touma brought a hand through his hair and paused for a moment before picking up again. "Words were said, and I ended up getting shocked by her…"

"You got more than shocked you dip shit," Mugino thought to herself, remembering how Kamijou encountered the Railgun on the bridge and was hit with one of her railgun shots leaving him practically dead.

"After talking it out some more, I came up with the plan to stop Accelerator which would throw the project's expectations out the door and cause everyone to look at the experiment as a failure since Accelerator would lose to a Level 0" Touma explained.

"Level 0…" Mugino thought to herself. That sounded like a complete lie. The bastard was probably just avoiding talking about his Level status. "And… you somehow miraculously managed to beat Accelerator" Mugino commented.

"Yeah. That's about it" Crossing his arms and looking at the ground. "After I beat Accelerator, I ended up passing out and woke up back in the hospital. Misaka later informed me that the project was dropped and that the sisters were relocated out of Academy City. Save for a few of the sisters that stayed here in the city, that's all I know" *Looking closely at Mugino* "Unless… you know something else that I don't know" Touma said, staying alert in case anything happened.

Scoffing at Touma's question, Mugino continued to give him an irritated look before responding to him.

"No. I don't know anything more about the sisters. Frankly, there's a lot I don't know about. Especially with how you came to beat Accelerator" Closing her eyes and letting out a sigh, Mugino wanted answers. And she would not stop until she got them. "Just how the hell did you defeat the number one ranked Level 5 in all of Academy City?"

"Honestly, I got lucky…" Touma muttered while looking up at the sky noticing that today was a clear and beautiful day that reminded him of that night.

"I didn't outright beat Accelerator on my own" Turning to look at Mugino, Touma waved a hand through his spiky hair before letting out a sigh. "Thanks to Misaka and her sisters, I was able to attack Accelerator while he was distracted with whatever it was that he was doing. Leaving me a chance to fight back, I was able to knock him out but ended up blacking out"

Silently watching Touma's facial expressions and analyzing everything he said, Mugino was for sure certain that he was not telling her the whole truth. There was no way in hell that someone could just 'attack Accelerator while he was distracted and come out on top. He still hasn't said anything about his Esper ability. Only that he's claiming to be a Level 0. This was all starting to become a headache for Mugino.

"I see… well, as for me looking into you, Kamijou. There was another incident I'm curious to learn about" Mugino said while recalling the incident at his dorm where he ran into the priest-looking guy and the giant flame monster.

"Another incident? What are you talking about exactly?" Touma replied, feeling a sense of worry at what this tea-colored girl was about to say.

"Where should I start… there's all these little incidents involving you stepping in to save girls from low-life thugs terrorizing them. Showing up at the last minute, fighting every thug and managing to come out as the victor even if you get your ass kicked" Tapping her foot, Mugino mentally recalled the event involving the red-haired priest and how she would go about asking Kamijou for information on that incident. "And… there was one other incident"

"An incident revolving around you at what I'm guessing is your dorm building and you were involved in an attack from a red-haired priest guy. That sound about, right?" Leaving no room to breathe, Mugino went right for the gizzard with her question which seemed to cause the color in Kamijou's face to fade away.

'Huh? What is she talking about?' Touma mentally thought while feeling even more cautious around Mugino. She knew things that other people didn't. Plus, he wasn't sure which faction she was affiliated with. The science side? The magic side?

"I… I'm not sure what you're talking about Mugino. Could you explain yourself?"

"Oh? Trying to play dumb about the incident? I know that you know what it is that I'm talking about. So, why don't you just come out and explain the event yourself" Mugino said, wanting to find more information on this event.

Maybe something that happened to Kamijou during this event would help explain why she even dreamed of this event in the first place.

"Mugino… trust works like a two-way street. And frankly, I'm not sensing any trust coming from you" Touma remarked, still not sure what she was talking about.

"That's your way of seeing things. I'm keeping my word and having this chat between us somewhere away from people. Isn't that what you wanted?" Mugino retorted.

"True… but at this point, that's not enough. While you're keeping your word by staying away from people, what are you planning on doing with everything that I'm telling you?"

"…" Mugino stayed silent.

"No one sensible would wait for me right before I'm heading to school. And no ordinary person would ask me questions like these. This begs the question… Who are you? Why are you aware of these events that I'm involved in? And what are you going to do with all this information I'm telling you?" Touma asked, wanting his own questions answered now.

Seeing that the questions were now being reflected to her, Mugino realized that if she was going to get any more information from Kamijou, she would need to open herself up somewhat. To keep getting more information from him before he closed himself off from her and made this even more difficult. There was still so much she didn't know.

Why did she dream about Kamijou? What do all the dreams mean? Who was making her dream of this guy? Was this guy really important? And just who the hell was this Kamijou Touma?

"Alright. Seeing that you want a little more trust between us before you go running off… I'll tell you my name and how I know about these events. Does that sound good enough?"

"Ye-"

"Good because that's all you're going to get," Mugino said, cutting off Touma before he could even respond.

"*sigh* How did I get stuck in a situation like this? Such misfortune..." Touma muttered.

Bringing a hand to her hip and letting her other hand dangle by her side, Mugino began to introduce herself.

"My name is Mugino Shizuri. I'm the fourth-ranked Level 5 and… you could say that I happened across several files containing information on you. Particularly, the events of you fighting thugs, the red-haired priest, and both the Railgun and Accelerator"

Now having her full name, Touma could only stare at the girl in front of him and silently swear to himself. Standing in front of him was another Level 5. This must've been the misfortune he was sensing from earlier. Why couldn't it have been something else? Like losing his wallet again or breaking his phone again. Or even getting hit by a bus. Hell, he would have preferred the tea-colored beauty to be an assassin of sorts that was hunting him down.

However, running into another Level 5 was the worst possible outcome. What was the deal with him running into Level 5's? First Misaka, then Accelerator, and now Mugino. The universe must seriously hate his guts.

Realizing that he hadn't said anything for a minute now. Leaving Mugino to stare at him with an irritated expression, Touma had the perfect response to her wrecking ball of an introduction.

"Oh…"

Staring at Kamijou and his blank facial expression, Mugino was livid.

"Oh?... Is that all you have to say?!" Staring at Kamijou with a confused expression. "What the fuck, Kamijou?!" Mugino shouted, leaving Touma to look at her weirdly.

"Err… what's wrong?"

"You're acting like running into a goddamn Level 5 is nothing out of the ordinary for you" Mugino stated.

"I mean, you said it yourself. I've run into Accelerator and Misaka who are…" Touma stopped himself before he said anything he might regret. If he were to mention Misaka and Accelerator being at a higher rank than Mugino…

"Who are? What? Finish whatever the hell you were going to say!" Mugino yelled while balling up her fists and narrowing her gaze at the spiky-haired boy.

"It's nothing. I was just going to say that running into Misaka and Accelerator was a… life-changing event. And now running into another Level 5 is… how do I say this… It's great meeting you, but I've already met a Level 5 so…" Touma explained but ended up making it sound worst and worst each time he tried explaining his reasoning.

"Alright. You know what? To hell with this" Mugino said before using her Meltdowner ability.

Everything seemed to slow down for Touma in an instant. His senses kicked in without alerting him and forced him to start scanning the area around him. His precognition. Feeling anxious, he quickly looked over at Mugino and saw a bright green light appear out of nowhere and hang there for a split second before the next thing he knew was that he leaped out of the way.

Feeling the ground beneath him, Touma then rolled over on his back and felt the heel of his foot plant itself which allowed him to regain his footing and stay in a crouched position. Turning to look at where he was originally standing, there in that exact spot was what appeared to be a scorched mark that was emitting smoke. Moving his head to look at Mugino, Touma was met with a surprised look on her face.

Before Touma could blurt out anything, he noticed that same glowing green light start to get brighter which did not look good. Having his battle instincts start to kick in, Touma leaped to the side while rolling several times and once again feeling his foot land flat on the ground giving him the chance to look at Mugino. She was pissed.

"What the fu- would you quit rolling around you damn idiot!"

"Why the hell would I do that?!"

"So, I can put a hole through you!"

"Can't we talk this out?! Weren't we just talking a moment ago?"

"Oh, I'm done talking"

"If you're mad for what I said about you being a Level 5, can I just say that most people will never get to meet two or even one Level 5 in their lives," Touma said, trying to calm the crazed woman down.

The answer Touma got back forced him to throw himself backward and land on his head all while rolling on his back. He then looked at Mugino who no longer looked confused but straight up had a murderous look on her face. Around her, there were now four green balls of lights that were glowing brighter. Suddenly, the four balls of light began to morph together into a bigger ball of light that shot out a beam that could decimate him.

However, in the nick of time, Touma raised his right hand right in front of him to cancel out the beam which it successfully did all while leaving a loud glass-breaking sound.

Mugino was left confused at what just happened.

In a matter of a second, she charged up Meltdowner beam was just destroyed right before her very eyes. And it was all thanks to the spiky-haired boy that was crouched down on the ground with his right-hand extended outwards.

"What… the hell did you just do?!"

"You almost shot me!"

"Yeah. No kidding! But what did you just do?"

Having an exasperated look on his face, Touma knew that this girl was going to be a problem. Sure, he could fight her here and now. But what good would that do? She could always come after him later. That would be a downright pain. Plus, he was already late for homeroom.

Letting out an anxious sigh, Touma figured he could try to talk with her. Get her to calm down and stop firing off those laser beams of hers'.

"H-hey, Mugino. Can we just… chill for a minute" Touma asked while still holding up his right hand close to his face.

Mugino had to force herself to from shooting her Meltdowner beam at the spiky-haired boy. What good would come to her if she were to keep on attacking this guy? Wasn't the whole point of seeking him out to find more information on why he was appearing in her dreams? There were still many questions she had, and she wouldn't get them by killing the bastard.

Tapping her left middle and ring fingers in the palm of her hand, Mugino bit her tongue and swallowed her bitterness toward the boy. Her usual approach of using force to get what she wanted would have to wait.

"…Alright" Bringing her left hand to her hip and letting her right-hand hang freely, Mugino looked over at the boy. "You have one minute"

Scrambling to come up with a response, Touma was unsure what to say. Normally when he's engaged in a fight with someone, there really isn't a moment of tranquility to talk things out. It's usually *whish* *whish* *bam*. Talk some. *Bam*. *Bang*. Punch here punch there. Talk some more. And then Illusion is broken and *bam*.

However, with this new event playing out, Touma was left speechless. It didn't help that Mugino was still staring at him with a cold stare. It was now or never to say something.

"Ok. Let's… calm down and…"

"45 seconds"

"Crap. Ok. You investigated me and wanted to know more about me. But why is that exactly?"

"Circumstances"

"Circumstances? *Shaking his head* But couldn't you have just looked all the information up? I mean, it wasn't like I was trying to hide anything"

"True. But I wanted to learn about the events you were involved in. Not everything was documented" Mugino replied.

'Not everything was documented?' Touma thought mentally. Just what did Mugino know exactly? And what event was she talking about involving a red-haired priest? Was it Stiyl?

"20 seconds"

"Well, what else do you want to know? I'm not sure what it is that you want exactly" Touma asked.

"I want to know why the hell you're so important" Mugino stated.

"Why I'm important? I think you've got it all wrong, Mugino. I'm no one really special. I'm just your average Level 0 high school student that ends up in random misfortunate scenarios" Touma explained while patting the back of his head.

"That sounds a load of bullshit"

"It's the truth. I'm not some reward-seeking guy looking to get paid for helping someone. If there's someone in need of help right in front of me, I'll do everything I can to help them. I'm not even a hero. I'm just a guy that wants to help someone with their problem and see them walk away at the end of the day with a smile on their face" Touma said, having a small smile appear in the corner of his mouth.

Mugino instantly wanted to call that statement of his bullshit. But the only thing stopping her from saying anything was the fact that she had witnessed him doing such things in her dreams. It sounded ridiculous. How could anyone help someone so willingly?

Maybe it was because she was involved with the Dark Side of Academy City. Having dealt with all kinds of shady dealings, Mugino had seen a fair share of many things that would make any ordinary person's stomach churn and leave them broken. This city was a complex network of a peaceful exterior while having a dark and corrupted interior.

Something she was familiar with due to her past experiences seeing the malevolence of adults and how two-sided people could really be. Moreover, she had grown up in a prosperous family that allowed her to have a spoiled childhood. Being rich and getting everything, she ever wanted, Mugino's perceptions of things were vastly different compared to practically everyone else.

So, to hear that someone like Kamijou was helping people out of the kindness of his heart and not wanting anything in return sounded like a joke. No. It sounded difficult to comprehend. How could someone have a desire to help others so easily?

Perhaps, because she was a member of the Dark Side of Academy City. She didn't see things as Kamijou did where he found happiness through helping someone. Even found himself being involved in business that he had no right to deal with. And yet, he still claimed to do everything he could to support that person with their problem while at the same time finding happiness in helping others.

That could explain why… she wasn't happy. She had not found what it was that made her happy. Sure, her hobbies tended to make her happy, but it was only a momentary happiness. Nothing really significant or lasting. And that made her puzzled on what to truly think of the boy standing right in front of her right now.

"I uh… I think one minute has passed" Touma muttered with an awkward laugh.

Mugino could only sigh as this guy in front of her was an idiot. An idiot that played the role of a hero. Furthermore, this idiot was for some reason appearing in her dreams and she still did not know why. But at least for now, she had enough information to last.

"Kamijou"

"Yeah?"

"Give me your phone"

Blinking several times to process what he just heard, Touma could've sworn that Mugino asked him to give his phone to her.

"Eh? Could you repeat that again?"

"You didn't mishear me"

Now shook at the realization that he was hearing her correctly, Touma cautiously reached into his pocket and grabbed his phone while looking at the tea-colored girl who had her arms crossed and was tapping her right index finger on her left shoulder. He then handed her the phone which she took and began to type on rapidly. Touma wasn't sure what it was that she was doing but was growing worried by the second.

Suddenly, Mugino handed the phone back to Touma which was left open allowing him to peek at what she had done to the device. To his surprise, he found that her contact information was now entered into his damaged phone. He swiftly looked back at her and found that she was readjusting her hair while ochre eyes met dark blue eyes.

"I think I've gotten enough information out of you today. Take care, Kamijou" Beginning to walk away from the scene, Mugino stopped in her tracks and turned to look at Touma and tell him one last thing. "And do be expecting a call from me soon. There are still many things I need to confirm with you"

With that, Mugino continued to walk away until she was no longer in sight. Making sure to check that she was not hiding somewhere in the alleyway, Touma peeked around and let out a sigh of relief that he was now alone.

"Oh, man… you have got to be kidding me. *sigh* Now I've got a crazy mature-looking girl that fires laser beams on my tail. Such misfortune" Having said that, Touma suddenly realized another important factor about Mugino that made him facepalm himself pretty hard. "Crap. I forgot. She's a Level 5. This is a whole bucket full of misfortune"

"Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse…" Touma muttered, now having a defeated look on his face.

Taking another look at his phone, Touma went into his contacts and found the newly added contact.

Shizuri Mugino.

There wasn't anything he could do now. It's not like he could delete her contact information. She said herself that she had his personal information on hand. And she even came and confronted him at this school. Chances of her showing up at his dorm were practically guaranteed.

Besides, he actually managed to get a beautiful mature girl's number. Even though that beautiful mature girl shot laser beams at him and basically tried to kill him. Not the ideal way of getting a girl's number, but hey, he can now die now knowing that he got a girl's number.

Taking another look at his phone, he noticed what time it was and almost dropped his phone.

"8:39 A.M."

Slamming his phone back into his pocket, Touma began to sprint down the alleyway and back to school. 'How?! It didn't feel like we were talking that long?! Crap! I'm going to be late!'

Touma had to get back to class in time. If not, then he would be screwed. The iron wall will definitely put him in the hospital for being late. Hopefully, Tsuchimikado at least turned in his homework. There had to be at least some good happening to him today.

Back at the school inside Touma's homeroom

"Tsuchimikado, tell me again why you have Kamijou's homework?" Fukiyose asked while looking annoyed.

"I'll repeat it as many times as I need to. Kami mentioned to me that he was going to be late to homeroom because he went to go pick up a new adult doujin that came out today. He mentioned it is full of girls in their birthday suits and had been waiting a long time for it" Tsuchimikado explained while doing a good job hiding his smirk.

"Does Kamijou have a thing for women dressed in suits on their birthday?" Himegami muttered, confused by what Tsuchimikado said.

"Sorry Kami. Figured I'd have a little fun" Tsuchimikado thought internally while laughing.

"Mm. I'm not believing that's the whole truth" Aogami said.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Tsuchimikado asked.

"This is Kami we're talking about. The chances of him going out and buying an adult doujin are believable. But the chances that he's out and about helping some girl while infecting her with the Kami-yan disease are more likely" Aogami explained while writing down something.

This got Tsuchimikado to slowly agree with him and come to the sad realization of what was going on.

"Damnit. You're right" *Raising his fist into the air* "Curse you, Kami. How could you? Ditching your education and instead choosing to chase after women!" Tsuchimikado stated.

Fukiyose had heard enough already, and the day was only just starting. Rearing her fist back and getting ready to knock some sense into Tsuchimikado and then Aogami, Fukiyose was stopped abruptly when the classroom door opened revealing their short teacher, Komoe sensei.

"Good morning class! I hope everyone is doing gre- "Komoe stopped talking and was left speechless at the sight in front of her.

Playing out in front of her was Fukiyose with her fist only inches away from Tsuchimikado's face which had a goofy grin plastered on his face, and he was still wearing his sunglasses indoors. Aogami was next to him holding what appeared to be a piece of paper that had the words "Kami-yan disease is contagious" And Himegami was sitting there looking puzzled about something. All in all, nothing is out of the ordinary with her students.

That was until Komoe began to search the classroom and spotted all her other young students except for one boy.

"Where's Kamijou at?"

Feeling that now was his time to shine, Tsuchimikado pushed up his sunglasses and had a shit-eating smirk on his face. Ready to spill the beans on Kamijou.

"Sensei. Kami told me to tell you that he'll be late to homeroom, but he gave me his homework that he finished for once" Tsuchimikado said while holding up Touma's homework.

"Oh! Kamijou actually finished his homework! This is amazing news. Maybe he's turned over a new leaf in his life and is ready to focus on his education" Komoe suggested, feeling a sense of pride and happiness that her student was now finishing and turning in his homework.

"I wouldn't be so sure of that, sensei. Turns out that while Kami said he was going to be late. He's actually going to be out buying an adult doujin with girls in their birthday suits. The guy is choosing girls over his education" Tsuchimikado explained, while at the same time doing his best to hold in a laugh.

"Huh? Kamijou wouldn't do something like that… would he?" Komoe asked, having that feeling of pride diminish instantly.

"That's not even the half of it sensei! While Kamijou is out buying his adult doujin, he's probably going to infect a girl or two with his disease. We need to stop him before he infects the whole city!" Aogami exclaimed.

Fukiyose could only close her eyes at the stupidity that was coming from these two. The other students in the classroom were also laughing at the whole situation.

"Kamijou… Not only are you out buying dirty magazines. But you're infecting girls…*sniff* why Kamijou?" Komoe began to have tears appear in the corner of her eyes.

Had she failed her student? Had she not done enough? Where did it all go wrong?

Questions like these loomed over Komoe's consciousness. The bright and chipper teacher had now turned into a sad and confused teacher. All thanks to the recklessness of a certain boy.

Suddenly, the class began to hear what sounded like footsteps running through the hall and stopping abruptly followed by the sound of something heavy slamming into the ground. A moment later, the classroom door blew open and there in the doorway stood the man of the hour.

Touma was sweating like crazy and had his uniform all wrinkly with dirt and uneven. He must've been the one who was running in the hall and from the loud sound hitting the floor. It was safe to say that he slipped and fell.

"I-I'm here! I'm here! I'm not late" Touma shouted, clearly out of breath.

Everyone just stared at the spiky-haired boy almost as if he was an alien from a different planet. No one dared to say anything which left the classroom silent for a whole minute before Komoe began to speak.

"Kamijou. What were you doing?"

"Eh? I was running an errand really quickly. I told Tsuchimikado that I went to the store because I forgot something"

"Kamijou" Moving her head to look directly at Touma, Komoe asked the question that was eating away at her conscious. "Did you tell Tsuchimikado that, so you could go out and buy dirty magazines?"

If Touma was drinking anything, then his drink would've been spit out of his mouth. But instead, he whirled his head back and was confused at what he just heard.

"What? What are you talking about, sensei?"

"I…It's ok, Kamijou. I know you're a growing boy and I have no right telling you what you can and can't do outside of class. But as your teacher…" Komoe grasped her hands close to her chest and let out what needed to be said. "I don't approve of you ditching not only class but your education to go out and buy dirty magazines. Nor do I condone you infecting girls with whatever disease Tsuchimikado and Aogami were talking about"

Stifled laughs could be heard coming from Aogami and Tsuchimikado. Himegami looked at Touma and could only wonder what his thoughts were on girls in suits. Fukiyose was now experiencing a headache since the entire Delta Force was now present. And Touma was left speechless at what he was hearing. Just how did things end up like this? Well, he did have an idea of how things turned out like this.

"*sigh* Such Misfortune…"

Back with Mugino

She was currently walking back to her apartment where the rest of ITEM was located. They hadn't been given any assignments today and were practically free to do whatever they wanted. This left Mugino with a sense of boredom. There weren't that many options left for her to do. Technically, she accomplished what she intended to do and made contact with Kamijou. Perhaps she could look further into the boy and see if there was anything else unique about him.

Maybe something he was involved in would explain why he's been appearing in her dreams.

Wait… speaking of dreams.

What if she were to take a nap? Would she then find herself dreaming of the spiky-haired idiot? This was something she hadn't considered before but since she was left with no real clues as to why she was dreaming of him, she might as well try something.

With that in mind, Mugino began to make her way back to her current apartment with the hope of finding something or anything really to explain why she was still dreaming of Kamjou. Besides, what else could the boy be involved in?

She would later eat those words.
