Feb. Bonus Prompt: DJ- : "Are you going to eat that or just play with it." - 'Pobol y Cwm'

He looked down at the dish in front of him. Despite not having eaten since breakfast, he suddenly found himself not very hungry. The food in the dish, if in fact it could really be called food, made even Neelix Leeola root concoctions seem appetizing.

"How did I even get dragged into this?" Gerron asked looking up at his two diner companions for the evening.

"Don't ask me?" B'Elanna said, with a smirk. "I made the bet with Dalby."

"You said you wanted to broaden your horizons," Dalby said, trying not to look down at his own dish. He was very sorry he had ever made this bet.

"This wasn't what I had in mind," Gerron said, poking the 'food' in his dish with his fork. He really wasn't sure what was in the dish could be define as food.

"Are you going to eat that or just play with it?" B'Elanna asked, mildly amused.

"Well, as it is still moving, playing with it sounds like the better option," Gerron replied.

"Gagh is best served lived," B'Elanna countered.

"Actually, I think it's best not served at all," Dalby replied, finally looking down at the gagh in his own dish again.

"You know, you're the one that made this bet, I think you should have the honor of going first," Gerron suggested, moving some of the worms around with his fork. He really had no intention of eating these things. He'd starve first. However, at this point, he was determined to see Dalby take at least one bite.

"He does have a point," B'Elanna replied. "You lost the bet, Dalby. Now eat up."

Dalby sighed. "Remind me never to make another bet with you," he muttered, picking some of the wriggling serpent worms up on his fork. Closing his eyes, he took a bit, having no doubt that the gagh wasn't going to stay down for long.
