"Lia are you sure you wanna stay here?" Carla asked as she slotted one of her daughter's feet into the shoe she was holding.

"Yeah honest," Lia smiled coming out of her bedroom, "I'm gonna ask Maisie to meet me, maybe come round, catch up with her."

"Awe that'll be nice babe," Carla replied with a smile as Rosie began to scream from the pushchair bouncing her body up and down impatiently, "Okay missus, two seconds. Right I best get going, if you change your mind or you get bored I'll be in Roy's with Chelle okay?"

"Love you," Lia waved off as Carla blew her a kiss and exited the flat, Lia pulling her phone out and beginning to text her friend.

The bell chimed as Carla pushed the pushchair through the doors of Roy's Rolls.

"Ah Carla," Roy greeted with a half smile as Carla came around the corner into view.

"Roy!" Carla beamed as she stepped to the front of the pushchair to hug the older man who had came out from behind the counter.

"Are these your daughters?" Roy asked as they broke the hug.

"Yes for my sins," Carla laughed slightly, "Rosie and Ava."

"Identical twins I see, they are beautiful," Roy complimented, "Like their mother, Hayley would be so pleased for you."

"I hope she is," Carla sighed smiling before Roy broke her train of thought.

"Black coffee?" Roy questioned heading back behind the counter.

"Oh you read my mind," Carla grinned as Michelle appeared behind her holding Fia in her arms, a backpack slung over her shoulder.

"Make that two please Roy," Michelle smiled as Carla turned around to greet her and her niece.

"On the house," Roy announced as Carla and Michelle both thanked him generously and took a seat close to the door.

Ava and Rosie had slowly began to close their eyes as the two women got settled and Carla began to play with Fia, her small giggles echoing through the café.

"Right then," Michelle announced, "What's brought this on? And where was my warning that you and your tribe were returning."

"Me and my tribe!" Carla exclaimed with a fake offended face, "Anyway, I thought you would appreciate the surprise, little did I know I was gonna walk in on a domestic."

Michelle shook her head and rolled her eyes playfully, "Yeah trust you and your timing. Anyway how come your back, I thought coming back to the street was your idea of a nightmare last time I checked."

"Yeah well it was, is, but Lia had kept mentioning how she was missing you, and Rob and her friends. And to be fair, as much as I love Devon, it can get a little lonely, and I suppose it wasn't the forever plan to not come back, so better now than never."

"And? How are you feeling?" Michelle questioned as she gave Roy a grateful smile and wrapped her hands around the fresh mug of coffee, Fia sat on Carla's lap shaking a rattle about for entertainment.

"You know what, surprisingly well. I thought it would be hard, but maybe time really does heal wounds," Carla laughed slightly at the irony of her sentence, "When we first left after Tracy was charged, I genuinely thought I would never be able to come back here, let alone buy a flat and raise the girls here but I don't know its almost like as much as I love LA and Devon, I missed this place."

"You missing Coronation Street in the sunny sights of LA, never," Michelle joked as Carla rolled her eyes.

"Anyway, I couldn't miss the wedding of the year could I," Carla moved on with a smirk as Michelle then rolled her eyes, "What would you do without the best maid of honour you could ask for?"

"And who said you were my maid of honour?" Michelle retorted.

"Well who else is it gonna be? Rob?" Carla quipped as Michelle chuckled and shook her head.

"Yeah well I suppose now your back, you'll have to do," Michelle sighed dramatically.

"No I think I'll have to reject sorry, its a bit sort notice. I mean what would I wear," Carla grinned as Michelle hit her playfully cause Fia to giggle.

"See even your niece thinks your laughable and she can't talk yet," Michelle smirked.

"Correction, she just knows how hilarious I am already," Carla retorted, "Anyway you'll be thankful of the days when she didn't know how to talk when she hits the talking back stage."

"Don't from the traumatic memories of Ryan and Lia growing up, I don't think I can handle it again," Michelle shook her head.

"Yeah well feel for me, I've got it twice over and a teenager to try and manage," Carla sighed as Michelle laughed at her expense.

"Finally little Miss LA returns," Maisie beamed as Lia opened the door enveloping each other in a hug.

"Awe I've missed you," Lia grinned as Maisie took a step back.

"Tell me about it! Left me to deal with Abby and her possie on my own!" Maisie exclaimed as Lia rolled her eyes.

"Oh come on I knew you could handle them, plus I recon with me gone they would move onto to someone else," Lia replied as Maisie nodded before turning back to a girl stood in the door.

"Sorry! Let me introduce you two, Lia this is Bethany, Bethany this is Lia," Maisie smiled as Bethany stepped into the door.

"Hiya," Lia smiled, "Your Gail's granddaughter, right?"

"Yeah, unfortunately," Bethany joked as Maisie and Lia laughed slightly.

"Bethany's the year younger but I saw her standing up to Abby a couple months ago and we've been friends since then," Maisie explained.

"Well that's one thing we've got in common," Lia grinned as Bethany smiled nodding.

"Well if you think she's as big a bitch as what I do, I think we'll get along," Bethany explained smiling.

"Yeah well I think you've found your crowd," Lia laughed as the other two teenagers joined in.

"So go on then how was Devon and LA, and wherever else you've been bar here," Maisie giggled as the three sat down on the sofa.

"It was good, Devon was alright it weren't anything special though it was only to finish my GCSE's," Lia explained before remembering, "Oh my god, I meant to say, how was prom."

"Oh I didn't go," Maisie explained as Lia frowned in confusion, "Nah it wasn't really my vibe, you know me I'm more for house parties than big fancy ball gowns, plus I'd had enough of the school without celebrating with it."

"That's fair enough," Lia nodded before gasping with an idea, "Oh my god, what about if we have a party here, invite everyone we liked from the year and have it like a leaving party but one where we can enjoy ourselves."

"Oh that would be such a good idea!" Maisie grinned as she turned to Bethany, "You'd come wouldn't you Bethany?"

"Of course," Bethany smiled as Lia and Maisie high fived in celebration.

"Wait will you mum let you though?" Maisie asked.

"Yeah she'll be fine," Lia discarded the girl's frets, "She'll probably just take the girls to Chelle's for the night and hopefully stay there."

"Oh that'd be great," Maisie smiled as the door unlocked, "Anyway we best get going, you coming Beth?"

"Yeah, I'll see you later Lia," Bethany smiled to the girl.

"Aw hi girls," Carla greeted as she walked through the door with Michelle, Rob and the kids in her trail, "You don't have to go on our account."

"No don't be silly we have to go anyway," Maisie smiled to Carla, "See you later."

The girls began to wave goodbye as Lia did back and then shut the door behind them.

"Was that Gail's granddaughter?" Rob asked as he took a seat, Ava on his lap bouncing her up and down.

"Yeah, she's seems nice, her and Maisie have got close at the minute so yeah, she seems really nice," Lia nodded as she spun Fia around letting the girl release loud giggles.

"Awe I'm glad you enjoyed babe," Carla smiled.

"Were you happy to see each other then?" Michelle asked smiling at the scene between her niece and daughter in front of her.

"Yeah definitely," Lia beamed placing Fia down on the playmat with Rosie, "Mum, I was thinking, can we have a party?"

"We?" Carla questioned as Rob smirked slightly walking over to where they were stood at the breakfast bar.

"Well me and the girls," Lia corrected as Michelle scoffed slightly, "And my year at school."

"What all of them?!" Carla asked.

"Nooo," Lia tutted before continuing, "Just the ones we like."

"So like how many?" Carla asked.

"50," Lia smiled hopefully.

"No," Carla scoffed.

"Oh mum come on! Please!" Lia begged as Rob laughed slightly.

"Well I mean at least she's asking you," Rob shrugged as Carla rolled her eyes.

"Babe, we've just moved in I can't be doing with this place being trashed," Carla sighed.

"It won't I promise!" Lia exclaimed hopefully.

"Fine," Carla agreed as Lia celebrated with both Michelle and Rob.

"Don't you two encourage her," Carla rolled her eyes playfully as the teenager bounced up and down buzzing with excitement.
