Thunder crashed and lightning flashed in the night sky as rain poured down as Sid hopelessly rubbed the 2 sticks together to make a fire.
And Manfred watched from his shelter as well as Sora and Donald as Goofy was asleep.
"Hey, I think I saw a spark." Manfred joked.
Sid turns to 2 sticks and sadly gave up and then went up to Manfred.
"Uh, any chance I could squeeze in there with you, Manny, old pal?" Sid asked.
"Oh, isn't there someone else you can annoy?" Manfred groaned. "Friends, family, poisonous reptiles?"
"Oh, my family abandoned me." Sid said.
"Guess that explains we found you alone." Rainbow said. "Why is that, anyway?"
"They just kinda migrated without me." Sid said. "You should see what they did last year." He then lays on Manfred's left tusk. "They woke up early, and then they quietly tied my hands and feet and they gagged me with a field mouse and barricaded the cave floor, and covered their tracks, and went through water and I'd lose their scent and, and, and... And who needs 'em anyway." He placed Manfred's trunk on him and went to sleep.
Thunder crashed as then Manfred grabs Sid holding him up and drops him.
"So what about you?" Sid asked. "You have family?"
Manfred remained silent and then turns around.
"Okay, you're tired. I see." Sid said. "Well, we'll talk more in the morning."
And then it started to hail.
"Ow! Ow! Ah, ah! Ow! Ow!" Sid cried in pain. "Uh, Manfred? Manfred? Could you scooch over a drop?" But Manfred didn't stir as hail bits hit him. "Oh, come on! Nobody falls asleep that fast!" A hail bit hits from on the head. "MANNY!"
Hail continues raining down as sadly even Sora and Donald have fallen asleep and Sid sadly hung his head down and went over to Manfred. And then held his tail over his head.
Nearby on a tree, Scrat was climbing up the side straining and panting with his acorn on his head. He then tries to quicken his pace as the acorn nearly fell and he caught in his mouth. And then climbs up the tree pushing the acorn up with his nose. He soon reaches the top, and climbs up panting. He then examines a hole in the tree, and then feels around with his foot, and finds a deep spot. He then prepares to placed the acorn in, but then a lightning bolt struck leaving him charred black as the acorn bounced off his head and fell as Scrat groans.
