The next morning, they were out wandering through the forest.

"And then she picked this hair off my shoulder and says, "Look, if you're gonna have an extra mating dance, at least pick a female with the same color pelt"." Sid said with an apple. "Right? And I thought, "Whoa, she's gonna go praying mantis on me". You know what' I'm sayin'."

"Hey, if you find a mate in life, you should be loyal." Manfred advised. "In your case, grateful. Now, get away from me."

"Well, I think mating for life is stupid." Sid said and took a bite on his apple. "I mean, there's plenty of Sid to go around, you know?" He tossed the apple away.

But then he bumped against Manfred's leg.

"Manny?" Sid said and then walks underneath him. "Manny?"

"Hello, Earth to Manny." Rainbow said.

They saw Manfred's look as they turns to what he was looking at, and then they were in for a shock.

It was an Ice Age woman in the river clinging to a log as she had something in her arm. They remained silent and still as the woman then moves along the side of the log, and soon made it to the riverbank and held onto the rock. And she brought a bundle onto the rock and pushed it up the rock, and it slid down as then Manfred caught it with his trunk. The woman then turns to him as they stared at each other, and the woman lightly smiles and lays on the rock exhausted.

And Manfred brought the bundle up and pulls his trunk away revealing a little baby as he soon opened his eyes and turns to them.

"Whoa." Sora said.

Sid then joins them.

"Look at that." Sid said. "He's okay."

The baby lightly smiled.

They then turned back to the mother, but saw that she wasn't there anymore and looked ahead down the river as she must been swiped away by the current.

"She's gone." Sid said.

Manfred turns back to the baby, and then turns away heading off.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey, Manny, Manny, are you forgetting something?" Sid said.

"No." Manfred said.

"But- but you just saved him." Sid said.

"Yeah, well, I'm still trying to get rid of the last thing I saved." Manfred said walking off.

"But you can't leave him here." Sid said.

"Yeah, we should at least help him." Sora said.

Sid then grabs the baby as he cooed, and then Sid noticed some smoke above the cliff by the waterfall.

"Look, there's smoke." Sid said. "That's his herd right up the hill. We should return him."

"Let's get something straight here, okay?" Manfred said.

"Listening." Goofy nervously said.

"There is no "we". There never was a "we"." Manfred said. "In fact, without me, there wouldn't even be a "you"."

"Just up the hill." Sid said.

"Listen very carefully." Manfred said making himself clear. "I'm not going." He mouthed it as well with his trunk.

"Yeesh, stubborn fella." Sora said.

"Fine. Be a jerk." Sid said. "I'll take care of him." He walks off.

"Oh, yeah, that's good." Manfred said. "You'll take care of him. You can't even take care of yourself. This is I gotta see."

"This oughta be good." Sora said.

"I'll return you." Sid said to the baby. "We don't need that meany-weeny Mammoth, do we? No, we don't."

Sid looked up at the cliff as it was a high climb, and turns back to Manfred and the others as he gestured to the clifftop with his head.

Sid nears the ledge and tries to reach it, and he jumps up grabbing it. And struggles and placed his feet on both sides straining, and climbs a bit and then reaches up to grab the next ledge. But then slipped as his head hits the side.

"This is fun." Sora said.

"You're an embarrassment to nature." Manfred said. "Do you know that?"

Sid got free and climbs more.

"This is cake!" Sid called out. "I'm fine! I'm fine! I'm gonna die."

He continues climbing as Manfred and the Mane 6 nears the cliff.

"Uh... I'm starting to think this is a bad idea." Sora said getting concern.

As Sid climbed, the baby cooed as the pin holding the bundle closed came loose. And the baby's feet slipped, it didn't take long for Sid to notice as the baby was slipping out. But Sid quickly caught the baby by his shirt in his foot as the baby laughing.

Manfred soon saw this.

"Oh, no!" Sora cried.

"Manny!" Sid yelled.

Manfred's eyes then widen.

The baby then slipped from Sid's foot and fell laughing as Manfred reached his trunk up ready to catch him. But then a saber lunges from nowhere snatching the baby, he growled as he landed on a rock. But then Manfred knocked the baby from his grip as the saber roared, and Manfred growled.

But then saber showed a polite look and cleared his throat.

"Um, that pink thing is mine." He said.

"Uh, no, actually, that pink thing belongs to us." Sid said climbing down.

He then slipped and hits both sides and hits the ground.

"Us?" The saber inquired. "You 2 are a bit of an odd couple."

"There is no us!" Manfred said.

"I see." The saber said. "Can't have one of your own, so you want to adopt."

"Look, I'm sorry to interrupt your snack, but we gotta go." Sid said.

"The baby? Please." The saber said. "I was returning him to his herd."

"Ha! Yeah, right." Sora said.

"Oh, yeah." Sid said. "Nice try, bucktooth."

"You calling me a liar?" The saber nearing him.

"I didn't say that." Sid said.

"You were thinking it." The saber said.

"I don't like this cat." Sid whispered. "He reads minds."

"Same." Goofy whispered.

"Name's Diego, friend." The saber said turning to Manfred.

"Manfred. And I'm not your friend." Manfred said.

"Fine, Manfred." Diego said as Sid walks off with the baby. "If you're looking for the humans, you're wasting your time. This left this morning."

"Thanks for the advice." Manfred said. "Now beat it." He then turns back to Sid. "All right, I'll help you bring it to its herd. But promise me you'll leave me alone after that.

"Okay. Okay, deal." Sid said as they walked off. "Hey, what's your problem?"

"You are my problem." Manfred said.

"Well, I think you're stressed, and that's why you eat so much." Sid said. "I mean, it's hard to get fat on a vegan diet."

"I'm not fat." Manfred said as Diego behind silently growled at the baby. "It's all this fur. It makes me look poofy."

"I guess you look kinda poofy." Goofy said.

"All right." Sid said. "You have fat hair, but when you're ready to talk, I'm here."
