They were soon heading north, and for a while the baby was crying.
"Oh, you gotta make it stop." Manfred said. "I can't take it anymore!"
"I've eaten things that didn't complain as much!" Diego said.
"That's real comforting!" Donald sarcastically said with earplugs on.
"He won't stop squirming." Sid said holding the baby upside-down.
"You're holding it wrong!" Diego said.
"He needs to be held upright!" Sora said.
"Watch its head!" Manfred said.
"Just put it down!" Diego said.
"Jeez, pick him up, put him down." Sid said and gibbers placing the baby down on a rock.
"Its nose is dry." Diego said.
"That means something's wring with it." Sid said.
"Someone should lick it." Diego said. "Just in case."
"I'll do it." Sid said.
"Human noses are supposed to be dry." Sora said.
"Hey, he's wearing one of those baby thingies." Manfred said.
"So?" Sid inquired with his tongue out.
"So if he poos, where does it go?" Manfred questioned.
Diego then cringed.
Sid pulled his tongue back in his mouth.
"Humans are disgusting." Sid said as the baby cried.
"Okay, you, check for poo." Manfred said.
"Hey, why am I the poo checker?" Sid asked.
"Because returning the runt was your idea." Manfred said leaning down to his level. "Because you're small and insignificant. And because I'll pummel you if you don't."
Sid remained silent for a moment. "Why else?"
"Now, Sid!" Manfred yelled.
The baby continues crying as Sid heads over to him as he continued crying.
"Eww! Yuck!" Sid said cleaning him. "Eww! I mean, my goodness." He then held a piece of cloth. "All right, look out, look out. Coming through." He moves off.
"Hey, watch out!" Manfred yelled.
"Stop waving that thing around!" Diego said as Sid nears him.
"Ooh, ooh, I'm gonna slip." Sid said and strangely had a smirk.
He then tossed it into the air as it opened, and landed on Manfred's face and Sid laughed as Manfred tossed it away as it had nothing on it.
"It's clean!" Sid said. "Got ya!" He then laughed as the baby cried.
Manfred then whacks him on the head.
"Will you cut it out?" Manfred said.
The baby then chuckled seeing the dazed look Sid had as Sid soon shook his head. And the baby started crying.
"Hey, do that again." Diego said. "He likes it."
Manfred whacks Sid on the head again.
The baby snickered as Sid shook his head again.
"It's making me feel better, too." Manfred smiled enjoying this.
"I'm enjoying this as well." Sora chuckled.
"Same here." Donald said and laughed.
The baby cried as Sid went over to Diego.
"Here, you hold it." Sid said dazed.
Diego then whacked Sid in the head as the baby chuckled. Sid shook his head as the baby slapped Sid as if he was trying to do the same giggling, but Sid caught his hand.
"Here, turn him towards me!" Diego said pushing Sid aside. "Where's the baby? There he is!"
The baby stared at him.
"Where's the baby?" Diego had his eyes covered. "THERE HE IS!"
The baby then cried more.
"Stop it! You're scaring him!" Manfred said pushing him aside.
"What's the matter with you?!" Sora said.
The baby cried more as then his stomach growled.
"I bet he's hungry." Sid snapping his fingers.
"Poor thing probably hasn't eaten anything all day." Sora said.
"How 'bout some milk?" Manfred suggested.
"Ooh, I'd love some!" Sid said.
"Not you! The baby!" Diego said.
"Well, I ain't exactly lactating right now, pal." Sid said.
"You're a little low on the food chain to be mouthing off, aren't..." Diego said.
"ENOUGH!" Manfred yelled.
They all turn to him as his shout echoed.
An object was heard dropping close by and they turned and saw a watermelon on the ground.
"Food!" Manfred and Sid in unison.
Manfred grabs the melon as then a Dodo poked it's head from the bush squawking and Manny turns away as then the Dodo snatches the melon from his grip. And the Dodo rushes off as it turns back to them and squawks at them and runs off.
And they all stared.
"Was that a Dodo?" Sora blinked.
